Christopher Nkunku is the latest name to emerge as a potential transfer target for Arsenal this month

The 21-year-old has made 13 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue Un this season, but only five of them have been starts, with the midfielder often restricted to games off the substitutes' bench

And with Unai Emery looking at potential loan deals this summer, a move for Nkunku has been mooted

Here's what we know about the transfer links so far. Why have Arsenal moved for Nkunku?  It looked like the Gunners would add Denis Suarez to their ranks this month, with the midfielder moving from Barcelona on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season

However, talks have broken down, with Barca wanting a obligation to buy.  That has led to Arsenal turning their attentions elsewhere, and with Nkunku available, Unai Emery has made his move

Wasn't this originally planned as a summer move?  Arsenal were interested in a summer move for Nkunku, but that has been fast-tracked to this month

Emery is keen to bolster his squad for the second half of the season and has worked with Nkunku before when he was the PSG boss

football.london has learnt that Arsenal's interest in the midfielder dates back to before Unai Emery arriving in north London, with Arsene Wenger having kept close tabs on his progress through the PSG youth ranks

But Emery's presence at the club has helped progress this month's talks, considering the Spaniard gave the youngster 36 first-team appearances during his time in charge at the Parc des Princes

When will the deal happen?  PSG are happy to let the youngster move to the Emirates on loan - providing they have cover

The French champions are close to completing a deal for Zenit Saint Petersburg star Leandro Paredes and are also looking at Bayern Munich's Renato Sanches and Allan at Napoli

If they get one of those over the line, Nkunku will be allowed to leave. How much will he cost?  Emery has admitted that there is no money to spend on players this month, with loans the only deals available to him

There will be no fee at this time, but PSG will be keen to add an option to buy into the deal to take the 21-year-old to London on loan

That option to buy will be around £18million - around about the same price they would have been expected to pay for Suarez

What does it mean for Denis Suarez?  If Arsenal take Nkunku on loan and have the option to buy, the Suarez deal may be dead

The Spaniard is out of contract at the Camp Nou this summer and had his heart set on a move to the Emirates, but now that is off he could find himself in limbo come the end of the season

How Much Mortgage Can I Get Approved For - Duration: 4:17.

Today we're going to answer the number one question I get asked how much of a

mortgage can I get approved for and we're getting started right now!

(INTRO)

Hey what's going on I'm Emmitt Dempsey mortgage advisor with Geneva Financial

here in beautiful Port St Lucie, Florida and welcome to another mortgage and home

buying tip. If this is your first time here and you want to learn more about

mortgages or the home buying process in general, go ahead and subscribe to my

channel and ring that bell so you don't miss anything. Okay how much of a mortgage

can I get approved for? Like I said that's the number one question I get

asked. How much of home can i buy you know that's a calculation people want to

know and a lot of times they go online and they search for that because I know

because I advertise on Google Adwords and, you know, that's the #1

search term "How much home can I afford?"

unfortunately there's no handy dandy calculator that kind of spits that

answer out because the answer is as unique as you are and I know that that

might sound kind of cliche, however that that's very true. It helps to do a

thorough loan application to know exactly how much income we can use, uh so

let me walk you through the exact calculation of how I come up with

exactly what mortgage you get approved for. First and foremost we're

gonna assume that your FICO is good enough, you know, that you're above the

minimums for FHA, VA, what have you so the number one key is INCOME what income I

can use because there's after 2008 there's these rules called the

ability-to-repay or ATR that we have to follow. And a good rule

of thumb roughly it's 50% of your of your gross monthly income of USABLE

income and the question is what is usable is is what is the the key factor

like so if you are a you know straight w-2 salaried employee it's pretty easy

you know government job you know exactly what you're gonna get each and every

paycheck that's easy for us to qualify because that that's the easiest that we

use however if you're self-employed you gotta have two years filed tax returns and

do an average and then have add backs. So it helps me we need to calculate it

exactly what that figure is or even if you're an hourly employee we do average

hours, so if you make you know fifteen twenty bucks an hour it might it

might average out to less than that because you don't get a full 40 hours so

knowing that income figure is number is VITAL, so that's why I recommend

you do a thorough loan application. Pull credit, you know, I know that might not be

what you wanted to do initially, but it doesn't cost you anything, and it helps us to

do our job to answer that question for you so what we look at is your your

gross income and your gross monthly income and we divide that by two. So say

you make ten thousand a month, five thousand a month...this is the total

amount that you can have available for mortgage payment, car payment, you know,

credit cards that's the maximum total debt that you can have. So if, say you

make ten thousand a month you know five thousand left and then say you have car

payments and other credit cards of two thousand, you know that least three

thousand a month for a mortgage payment. Now you gotta include taxes, insurance,

HOA and mortgage insurance too. So we take that figure and then we kind of

back into what the max of mortgage payment is. So roughly for a $200,000

mortgage at you know roughly five percent that's about a

thousand dollars for a principal interest is like a thousand seventy five

or so but you know that's how I back into it. So bottom line is it all starts

with your income. So that's how much mortgages you can afford..income wise

how much you can afford for your mortgage payment month-to-month, but then the second

factor is how much money you have. So if you, you know, you might

make a lot of money income wise but if you don't have the cash to close to make that

happen then then it doesn't happen. So first of all zero in on your income how

much of a mortgage can I qualify for; how much of a mortgage can i afford etc

and it all starts with the income that that's usable. So, you know, give me a call, go to

www.dempseymortgage.com we can do a free evaluation, you know, we'll do a thorough

investigation, you can come see or we can do a a screen share or whatever

and I'll go over all those numbers with you so you know exactly how much the

mortgage that you can qualify for so again if you have any mortgage questions

you want to learn your options go to www.dempseymortgage.com, give me a call and

again if you want to learn more about mortgages or the home buying process in

general go and subscribe my channel ring that bell

miss anything thank you so much for watching and I'll see you on the next

number 23 risk that Norway during 1888 it appeared to be nothing but gorgeous

farmland by 2013 it became more of a little country town with adorable homes

either way it looks like a peaceful town to live in even back in the day I

personally would have camped out there for at least a night or two

number 22 sells justice you fit out of Norway look at the two different times

it seems as though this gorgeous place has remained more or less the same why

would anyone want to touch it it looks so peaceful

if you look at the rocks aligned along the water they're almost in the exact

same spot it really is incredible have you seen the movie Moulin Rouge

well you might be surprised to find out it's an actual place located in Paris

keep watching until the very in to learn a little bit more about it

and see a historic picture from its past

number 21 the Martin Luther statue in dressed in Germany the two photos are

showing how times have changed from 1958 to 2014 the building in 1958 is almost

completely non-existent perhaps the war had something to do with it but in 2014

the building standing behind the statue adds so much to the photo kind of giving

it more of a European feel number 20 Hoff brujas munch in Germany

okay this photo is a little crazy if you look

at the two buildings they remain almost untouched it's hard to believe that they

manage to look the exact same way from 1910 through 2017 this photo is of Hoff

brew house munch in Germany sure if you pay attention to detail some things have

changed but for the most part it looks identical unbelievable right

number 19 Cuates Nations Paris France opposite to the last photo Kosta Nations

Paris France has changed significantly from 1900 to 2017 you'd think there'd be

more buildings now than there were back then but it's actually the exact

opposite in the 1900s you can see the water on the other side now the entire

area is essentially water

number eighteen Poznan Poland this is the corner of radish akka and Southwest

Marcin streets in Poznan Poland the photo shows the changes from 1945 to

2017 the first photo shows the building completely destroyed not sure about the

historical facts about this place but I'm glad it was restored and now it

looks like a gorgeous historic building very nice number 17 pretty up your crane

from 1986 to 2017 Pripyat Ukraine looks more or less the same the 1986 photo was

actually taken shortly before the Chernobyl meltdown that is the nearby

town where the employees and families lived the only difference is that

someone decided to plant some trees and make the area look a little more green

number 16 Cheney glacier in the United States the two photos depict 1911 and

2005 if you notice the 1911 photo has significantly more snow compared to the

bottom one some people believe it might be due to global warming but I'm

thinking it's just two different seasons who knows regardless this photo

definitely tells its own story about history and how things have changed

number 15 Austin abrooke Germany this looks like it's from an old Italian

mobster film no one on site fog everywhere and just an overall

mysterious vibe fast-forward to 2015 and this area looks more popping more people

walking up and down the streets it also appears that the area has been turned

into more of a shopping area than a place to live looks nice either way

though it's crazy how things have changed over the course of history

number fourteen Mont Saint Mitchell France

okay so is this place real it looks like a scene from a fairy tale or the

original Disneyland absolute goosebumps these two pictures are from 1908 and

2016 not a whole lot has changed which is so amazing because it doesn't need

any change whatsoever number 13 rice stag fire in case you didn't know

the Rye stag fire in Germany happened in 1933 just one month after Adolf Hitler

became Chancellor of Germany this photo shows the building from 1945 to 2012 it

looked like it was on its way to being rebuilt in 1945 and now it looks like a

stunning building luckily they fixed it right up such a historic photo number 12

hammerfest Norway this is a stunning photo of hammerfest Norway from 1889 to

2004 both photos look beautiful and peaceful the only difference is that

more trees were planted and more homes were built honestly if I lived in Norway

I would live right there but looks like you'd live such a calm life there with

not a worry in the world

number 11 frown curse Dresden looking at the two photos from 1897 to 2010 a frown

cursed Dresden and Dresden Germany the two photos look like nothing's changed

but actually it has the building was actually burned down during the war and

it was rebuilt after it looks almost identical to the original and the black

bricks are remains of the old building nice

number ten the Eiffel Tower I'm sure everyone knows this building it's the

Tour Eiffel in Paris France the two photos are from 1910 and 2016 a lot of

people prefer the 1910 photos some say it looks more romantic and others say

the 2016 one looks way busier regardless the city has become a lot more popular

in 2016 in 1910 the city looks very peaceful and well romantic number 9

Marcin Street Poznan Poland these two photos show the years 1945 and 2017 look

at the mess that the war left in the particular area and now it looks like

nothing happened ever it's crazy to think that people today walk into

something everyday without ever knowing what happened there in the past number 8

osnabrück germany again in 1904 there wasn't much going on just a ton of

farmland and a few homes here and there I mean if they are even homes but now it

looks way busier with a ton of trees planted more homes and just a lot going

on number 7 osnabrück central railway station clearly people have become a

little more environmentally friendly and health-conscious in germany check out

this photo at osnabrück central railway station from 1965 and 2015 there were no

bikes on site in the 60s and now mostly all bikes that's pretty impressive

Germany pretty impressive luckily the buildings still look the

same still looks pretty incredible number six zippers go Street Poznan

Poland though the years aren't so incredibly far apart it's crazy to see

the changes that this place has gone through not only does it look

significantly greener now there is an entirely new building that was built and

the buildings that stayed there look a lot better very very nice

number five Paris France this is Paris France in 1900 in 2017 I

don't know about you but the photo from the 1900s looks a lot better I'm sure

it's the fact that is not in color and there's something sort of classy and

mysterious to it but this isn't to say that the photo today looks bad the place

still looks gorgeous and I would love to visit number four Keagan Norway keys and

railway bridge in Kishin Norway doesn't seem like it's changed a whole lot from

1927 to 2008 even the trains look more or less the same the only thing that's

really changed is the area where people can walk it's nice to see that not much

has been changed in this very pretty area number three Dresden Germany is

this mr. Darcy's house from Pride and Prejudice probably not but it definitely

looks like it could be this is the palace in Groban garden in Dresden

Germany not a whole lot has changed and nothing really needs to be changed the

area is beautiful and surely looks like what most of Jane

Austen's stories were about

number two Lodz Poland all right it's time to play spot the difference

check out the st. Matthews evangelical church in Lodz Poland the first photos

from 1937 and the other photo is from 2017 there are only a few minor

unnoticeable changes but overall inside the building it looks completely

identical it really is a special feeling to walk into a building with so much

history behind it now that you've seen some unbelievable before-and-after

photos that show how much the world has changed over time here's a picture from

Moulin Rouge you may be surprised to see that it hasn't changed very much

number one Moulin Rouge in Paris France this is the Moulin Rouge in Paris France

from the 1900s to 2016 the only significant changes in the photos are

the people in the cars obviously in the 1930s the cars look super vintage and

the people are dressed for the time but other than that everything looks more or

less the same

Transfer news: Alan Shearer assesses how many players Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal need - Duration: 2:16.

Chelsea have already completed the marquee signing of Gonzalo Higauin this month but the other teams chasing the top four and the Premier League title are yet to make their move.

Arsenal are looking at deals for the likes of Barcelona's Denis Saurez, PSG's Christopher Nkunku and most recently Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.

Funds are tight at the Emirates, so the club are looking at loan deals only.

Recent injuries to Rob Holding, Hector Bellerin and Laurent Koscielny could also see them bring in a defensive recruit this month.

And Premier League legend Shearer reckons they need at least one new recruit if they are to mount a top four challenge.

"There is just a week left in the January transfer window and many clubs will be desperately trying to do some business before it shuts," he told Coral.

"Arsenal need one or two players so it would be no surprise to see them strengthen their squad."

Liverpool and Manchester City are both flying high at the top of the table and neither club look likely to sign any players this month having splashed the cash in the summer.

Meanwhile, United are looking into the prospect of any players becoming available across Europe and have also been linked with Perisic.

But Shearer feels the fact Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is their interim boss and they aren't sure who to appoint in the summer could impact how many signings they make before Thursday's 11pm deadline.

"It would take someone very special to become available for Manchester City or Liverpool to sign anyone, as they have to be happy with the way the season has gone so far with what they already have at their disposal," the Newcastle legend said.

"Manchester United could do with a defender or two.

"But it is a difficult situation for them at the moment as they do not know who their manager is going to be next season. So I would be surprised if they invested a lot of money either.

"Often the signings that are made in the January transfer window are out of desperation and panic which can lead to clubs paying over the top.

"Managers will look at where they have come up short over the last few months and try to fix the situation."

Liverpool's XI vs West Brom in 2016 shows how much has changed under Jurgen Klopp - Duration: 3:42.

Football News24/7  Safe to say Liverpool have come a long way since Jurgen Klopp succeeded Brendan Rodgers as manager back in 2015

In the German's three full seasons in charge, chronologically the Reds have finished eighth, fourth and fourth in the Premier League

Liverpool also reached the 2015/16 Europa League final, which they lost 3-1 to Sevilla, and last season's Champions League final with Real Madrid

Real ran out 3-1 winners in Kiev that day, but Liverpool's run to the final showed that something special was happening at Anfield

And it's told this season as Klopp's men are currently top of the Premier League after 23 games and once again going strong in Europe

They face Bayern Munich in the last 16.  Klopp has revolutionised Liverpool in his three-and-a-half years as manager and it's mostly due to the players he's signed in that time

Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Alisson, Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum - the list goes on

Liverpool have had to pay a lot of money to get where they are, but the sale of Philippe Coutinho and reaching the Champions League final last year has put them on the brink of making history

According to the English media, the Reds are set to become the first club in the world to record annual profits of over €100m (£88

3m).  So how has Klopp done it?  Well, you need only compare Liverpool's starting line-up to face West Brom in May 2016 to their current best starting line-up to see how much change has been made

LIVERPOOL'S STARTING XI VS WEST BROM, 2016  Adam Bogdan; Jon Flanagan, Martin Skrtel, Lucas Leiva, Brad Smith; Kevin Stewart, Joe Allen, Cameron Brannagan; Jordan Ibe, Sheyi Ojo, Christian Benteke LIVERPOOL'S CURRENT BEST STARTING XI, 2019  Alisson; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Andy Robertson; Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum; Xherdan Shaqiri, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane; Mohamed Salah  The state of that team

Liverpool scraped a 1-1 draw at the Hawthornes that day and it meant they finished a disappointing eighth in the Premier League

Klopp fielded a stronger XI for the Europa League final with Sevilla three days later and lost 3-1, but with their current team and squad depth they probably would have won
