News on Youtube Jan 27 2019

Happy Monday everybody and thanks for tuning in to Toys, The Universe, and Everything!

This week we're playing XENOPHOBE for the Atari 7800.

So is Xenophobe the alien invasion you've been hoping for?

What IS a "poofer" gun?

If I glue a third player port on my Atari, do I get to play as her?

Well like, subscribe to the channel, hit the notification bell, and lets give ET a reason

to phone home!

Based on the 1985 3 player Midway arcade game where you select from NINE characters, Xenophobe

is a two player game where you both get to play as 8 bit Patrick Stewart.

Doesn't matter if you want to be the duck head guy, you're Patrick Stewart.

Doesn't matter if you want to be the attractive lady on the title screen… you're Patrick

Stewart.

Can you tell I feel very baited and switched?

In each level you must clear out a space station by shooting aliens before time runs out.

Picking up weapons, health and essential supplies like ropes, data tablets, and HUMAN SKULLS

get you points.

Aliens can knock your weapon out of your hands and you can even hurt yourself by jumping

into a door, because that is something brave adventurers do.

This is absolutely one of the Atari 7800's most polished looking titles.

Even though it lacks Dr. Quack, the aliens look good and the sprites move smoothly.

It is a shame that the Atari Lynx version of this game went above and beyond adding

new elements and even an end boss while this port endlessly loops the same grey interiors

over and over again until you die.

While what is here is good and does a respectable job, you will get the feeling some executive

rushed this causing some elements to be scrubbed like selectable characters and varied scenery.

Even with all of that, this is one of the games that looks far better on the 7800 than

the NES even with the paltry selection of graphics on the cart.

Speaking of rushed elements… this is another example of the 7800 should be seen and not

heard.

The tune that kicks off every level is by far my least favorite jingle on any 7800 game

so far.

It sounds off key and flat and just really gets on my nerves.

Once you've gotten beyond that the other noises are passable, but don't do anything

to change your mind about the 7800's audio capabilities.

They sound like they were slapped in just to have something there instead of really

trying to achieve something on the hardware.

The 7800 could have been so much more in terms of sound.

Even today there are chip tune artists porting themes from Castlevania and Mega Man that

make these in house offerings just seem lazy.

Thankfully, the gameplay is the part of this game that didn't feel rushed or cut off.

It will take an adjustment to get used to ducking and jumping, but after a bit, you

will be cleaning up bug aliens like a champ.

After many hours, I still sometimes jump into a door and losing your gun thanks to a cheap

shot from a spitter will make you want to cuss the game, but there is a lot to like

here and the twin Patrick Stewart co-op play makes this game a great choice for get togethers.

Also its a great conversation starter to make jokes about the POOFER gun.

I wonder what it was called internally at Atari.

Maybe I don't want to know.

But do you need this game in your collection?

This isn't a 7800 exclusive.

It was also ported to the NES and that version does SOUND better.

That said, if you just want to listen to Xenophobe, get the NES version.

If you want to play Xenophobe, crank up some loud music with a bud and PLAY the 7800 version.

Xenophobe hasn't aged as well as some other arcade ports on the system, BUT there is still

a lot to like here and it is a fun game that hints at what the system COULD HAVE accomplished

if they would have had the resources of the other platforms.

It does accomplish some tense or quick jump scare moments and it is worth playing even

today.

So anyway, I hope you enjoyed this video and no matter what your questions are about toys

the universe and everything, remember, the answer is always to have fun and it doesn't

matter if you shave your head Captain Pickard, no one is going to respect your alien hunting

skills if you keep jumping into closed doors!

And ask Sigourney Weaver, a Poofer gun is no substitute for a flamethrower.

Until next time everybody.

HIGH SPEED MINI RC Quadcopter! Eachine E010 review! - Duration: 2:18.

This RC quadcopter is a ton of fun, easy to fly, and it has a good price!

Wha-wha-wha-what's going on guys, Dingy Dawg here, and today we're going to be taking a look at the E010

quadcopter from Eachine.

This is a very interesting machine, it has quad-blade propellers for extra velocity.

It also has rings around each of the propellers to protect

against high speed crashes. I really love the spaceship look of this drone. It adds a

futuristic theme to it. Now, a lot of people are doing a very interesting experiment to this drone

Where they'll add an

fpv camera and

solder it to the main power supply.

I would not recommend doing this, as it will drain the battery in seconds, but you might try

Something else like a Blade Inductrix, which is very similar to the E010,

only a lot more expensive and a lot more powerful, and capable of supplying an FPV camera on board.

Underneath you will find a tray for a 3.7 volt

LiPo battery which is included, and takes about 30 to 50 minutes completely charge for about a

10-minute flight time. Pretty good!

A button on the controller allows you to do

one-key 360-degree flips with the drone, which can really amaze your friends.

There's a button on the controller which allows your drone to return back to you.

It can be really helpful if it starts to drift

away with the wind. I found this will work pretty well.

GET OVER HERE!

SHOOT!

...aaand it's on the shed.

It also has steering trims and throttle trims on the controller and it has very fine controls.

I found it to be very

responsive and agile.

There's also a button to switch your speed,

Speed 1 is for beginning pilots, and Speed 2 is much faster for more experienced pilots.

So would I recommend this drone?

I definitely would! It's definitely a fun indoor and outdoor toy, especially good for rainy days

when you can't go outside and fly bigger drones.

If you liked this video, please be sure to give it a big thumbs up! Click the like button and the subscribe

button so you don't miss out on any new videos

every week. I'll have this product linked in the description

along with extra batteries for it in case you want to be out flying for a longer time, and

I guess I'll see you in the next video.

Bye for now, have a good day!

(signature Dingy Dawg closing)

Hey, that looks like a cool video!

You should totally click on it.

Casio Baby-G BG-1200 All Blue watch review | Quite Interesting - Duration: 9:40.

Hello everyone GHF here and today I'm wearing my gulfmaster and we're gonna

have a look at a baby G which happened to be looking closely similar to my gulf

master quad sensor model except it is much smaller, this is a 36 millimeter

baby G watch with a thickness of about 13 millimeters only. It is really

uncommon to find these out there, I have no idea about the background at all but

what I know about the function is that it is impressive and could beat most

g-shock watch that we have and for the size that is this small, gosh, if you

didn't really care about the brand.. just ignore this part, this is really cool

watch to wear I mean Casio watch or as a good replacement for G shock as well so

overall it looks like this, incredibly long strap but don't be fooled, the

watchband looks long because the body is small, that's it this is just a simple

round shape body. It's just.. there it is. Straightforward right

there are several color variations for this one in blue as the one you're looking right now

and there is also in full black-out so there will be much better options if you

don't really like this feminine color tone anyway you'll see we have baby G

light and reverse and start and forward for the timer and stopwatch feature that

this watch have which is incredible and other than that this watch also have

other functions that usual g-shock just didn't have so it is impressive overall

really impressive so moving on to the watch band keeper it came in resin with

baby G stamped on there, so this part didn't look as tough, but you do have a baby G

over here as well in pink on the side of the strap which a feature that you

cannot find on a G Shock watch, the buckle came in plastic with yeah no sign

at all so yeah baby it is usually came in this type of material but you could

easily replace this with metal if you want it to anyway but for the cost I can

recall the price for this but anyway let's moving on at the back you'll see

more straps to add some grip on your wrist so that the watch won't wobble

back and forth like that and you'll have two back plate over there,

So let's zoom in there to see what it says, Casio, 2951, BG

1200, Stainless steel made in Thailand Y, and water resistant to 10 bar, and baby_G

and, Casio. So they didn't really stated if this watch has

shock-absorbing structure but come on just by looking at the construction and

compared to this guy it does have some some sort of shock

absorbing structure in it and even though they says this is just 10bar, I mean just

look at that obviously you could go more than ten bar but regardless those just

some speculations. Have looked at the watch face, you'll see this they have to

jelly part over here just for decoration (*to lock the bezel*) and I like that make the watch much

better and there is a glossy or a mirror-like ring around the faceplate that make the

watch flash as well and really beautiful for this specific colorway if you get a

black out version you're probably not gonna see all this as much and it came in

positive display and the faceplate states that it has, 'adjust', 'mode',

'world time', 'alarm', and WR 100 meter and 'Casio' writings over there, there are this

dot over here in the 'eye' those will be used for alarm and signal and a lot of

those pixels in there, well if you looks lovely they have this symbol down there,

little symbol of degree Celsius or degree Fahrenheit and also a percentage

symbol as well from here you could get a rough idea already what are the function

that is watch have, pressing 'mode' button was what brings you to home-time keeping

right now, so you have digital time display, largely display and date display

on top, and you could swap that to date display, month and day, and next is world

time function as well, so this much has ability to show you dual-time feature

at home time and clearly as well, thats good right? and just in case you cannot

see it, you could turn on the EL which will glows in blue color way with a

slight animations of a puppy I believe and also a dolphin, I'm not sure why they

combine these two together but it is cute for a baby-G right if you're gonna

be giving away to your kids for anyone who have skinny raise or if you prefer

something that is.. that looked like this, this color tone, this is one of the best one

out there because the price for this is just insanely affordable man and you get a

lot of out of your money. Pressing 'mode' button once will brings you to E-data

memory it has a hundred percentage and it didn't have any limitation at all as

long as it is under a hundred percent the storage and as you can see I could

literally write down a full email in here look at all those in capital letter

and in small letters and you could also add in numbers as well so I don't think

there are any G-Shock that could do this most of the time they will limit this to

several characters only, in in this case it didn't so I like that a lot,

incredible. For a Baby-G, keep that in mind next mode, you will have a world time to 29

cities and 31 time zones if I'm not mistaken, I might be wrong on that but basically you

have all the cities time on top over there and their time over there, so this is in the

world time mode, next you'll have a city temperature, yep city temperature for

example in Tokyo right now in the month of January which is there, one, month

number one, you will see that one degree Celsius and 10 degrees Celsius probably

minimum and maximum temperature which I could say is accurate because I've been

there and you could swap this to other city as well and if I'm a second you

could swap these to.. yeah February, March, you could basically predict how the

weather or how the temperature is in that specific country, there are no G

Shock that could do this I'm not sure how significant of how useful this function

is to most people but knowing that we could do this is interesting enough to

me, next function is alarm; you'll have your uhm a single alarm with snooze and

signal which would be indicated with this indicator in the eye, I'm not sure if you guys

could see because how deep the display was built in there but there's an

indicator in there with the graphics, next function will be a countdown timer

ranging all the way to 24 hour and you can set this to only every

single minute with auto-repeat function, next you'll have your stopwatch ranging

all the way to 60 minutes only and you have your 100 second precision and also

split time function as well and a dolphin animation just for fun

next we'll go back to home time keeping with your dual-time feature; incredible

watch, very useful watch, I'd seen g-shock watch that could perform lesser than this

I mean if you compare of how small it look and the function of this watch, it's

just incredible, although the downside I would say that the button is quite hard

to press because.. look at that bezel is that thick and the button is that small, if they

could make it bigger like cover up this whole area it would be much better but

that's okay. That's a baby G, I'm gonna give it a pass

so I'm gonna wear the watch right now. just bear with me guys, oh my goodness, although

looks big right but if you wear this, hold on.. quite easy and the watch band

actually quite thick as well you can feel the quality of it and overall it's

just impressive and things that gonna worries me a little bit it's this van

keeper it is plastic, this thing are prone to broke over time if you beat the hell

out of this but anyway this is how it looks like this is a 36

millimeter watch and it fits there it is very very nicely just in the middle of

my wrist like that look at that look at how thick the strap on this lug;

connector parts, just so nice alright overall that is how it looked

like I'm gonna disassemble the watch at the end of the video just to show you

guys how the interior looks like but for now I guess that is all right? just incredible

so so if you're thinking about giving a watch to your kids to

anyone at all as a gift or anything I think this is a nice options, get it in

eBay or Yahoo Japan Auction, the price aren't as high anyway because they aren't

popular so give it a shot if you are interested anyway that sums

it all thank you very much for watching this is GHF and I'm...

✅ Taste Of The Wild Dog Food Review & Rating 2019 - Duration: 6:05.

Do you want to see unbiased dog food judge review of Taste of the Wild dog food?

I bet you do and in this video, I want to reveal you all secret facts about this popular

dry dog food brand.

I am a dog food judge and I am searching for the healthiest and the best dog foods that

will preserve your dog health and extend its life.

So is the Taste of the Wild one of these foods?

I made a review of Taste of the Wild high prairie roasted bison and venison which is

the most popular food in the world.

Let's start Taste of the Wild review with the basic information about the brand.

First, basic information.

The Taste of the Wild brand of dog foods is produced in America by the principle of the

ancestral diet.

What does this mean?

This means that the dog's digestive system is adjusted for digesting a pray and this

brand of food try to provide that kind of food for your pet.

So the Taste of the Wild foods:

Contain a lot of meat.

Doesn't contain grain, wheat, and soy.

Doesn't contain the dangerous ingredients and preservatives.

In my examination, I discovered that these three facts are true.

In order to prove it to you, let's see the ingredient analysis.

Second, ingredient analysis review.

As you probably know the most important things you need to look for in dogs foods are wheat,

soy, grain, preservatives, and artificial colors.

This product does not contain any ingredient that could be connected with wheat, soy, and

grain.

However, I discover in my examination that there is preservatives presence.

I found two preservatives:

First, vitamin C.

And the second, vitamin E.

Luckily both preservatives are natural and actually good for the dog and its health.

The last dangerous ingredients are artificial colors and Taste of the Wild food does not

have them.

So there is no dangerous or bad ingredient but how about cheap and less appropriate ingredients?

I found few less appropriate ingredients in Taste of the Wild high prairie dog food:

First, canola oil.

Sometimes can be genetically modified (GMO) but it is a very good source of omega-3 fatty

acids.

Second, pea protein.

Plant-based protein and cheap ingredient.

Third, salt.

In higher amounts leads to water deprivation.

And the fourth, tomato pomace.

By-product that has high fiber and nutrient content but it is a cheap ingredient.

So these ingredients are not dangerous and level of this ingredients is very low so they

won't affect a lot on the final judgment.

The last thing I examine in dog food review is composition and ratios.

So third, composition and ratios review.

The Taste of the Wild high prairie roasted bison & venison composition:

Protein 32%.

The most important for dog food is that proteins are animal-based.

The main ingredients of this Taste of the Wild dog food are meats.

So very high amount of proteins are actually animal-based and that is the great source

for dog strength.

Fat 18%.

The fats are important but in a lot less level than proteins.

To be a more precise ideal protein to fat ratio is 1/2.

The Taste of the Wild protein to fat ratio is 56% which is almost ideal.

Ok, now let's see the second very important thing and that is fiber level.

Fiber 4%.

The fibers have to be present but the ideal ratio is 1/4.

The Taste of the Wild protein to fiber ratio is 13% which is lower than ideal but it is

still good.

Moisture 10%.

The most important nutrient for dogs is water.

Moisture of 10% is a normal level for dry dog foods.

Vitamins & minerals.

Taste of the Wild dog food contains the optimal rate of vitamins and minerals that are added

to the food by supplements.

Ok, this was the last analysis of Taste of the Wild dog food review and now follows the

ratings.

My final judgment for Taste of the Wild high prairie roasted bison & venison dog food is

91/100 points.

It is actually the highest rating I  provide to any dry dog food.

The price is low and the food quality is very high.

The Dog food advisor, Amazon and all other reviews sites provide Taste of the Wild dog

food very high ratings.

So I suggest it and if you choose this product you won't be sorry.

Check the current price on Amazon.

I place the link for you in the description.

And to be completely honest if you click the link below I will get a buck or two from Amazon.

It won't make me rich but it will help me to continue my work and to examine and find

more deadly dog food products.

I will be able to continue my mission which is saving as many dogs as I can from illnesses.

Also, I almost forgot.

I place for you link in the description to my comparison of the top 10 most popular dog

foods in the world so I suggest you check it.

it is bright out here

welcomes to Miami

the hotel is located right in a lagoon

it's surrounded by a bunch of other

secluded as there is not really a road

which is a half a mile out and then you

can get other places

[Music]

[Review] DS Racing LF-4 Drift Tyres for Mini-Z & 1/28 (Tires) - Duration: 7:18.

Hello, everyone. Welcome to Beaver's hobby channel.

This is the review of DS racing LF-4 drift tyres for Mini-Z and 1/28 scale.

These tyres have been sent to me by DS racing, so thank you very much.

If you are in RC drifting scene you might have heard of their name already.

DS Racing primarily makes products for 1/10 scale RC drift car and a lot more besides.

The most well known are their drift tyres. Luckily they also make drift tyres for Mini-Z and 1/28 scale too.

This LF4 compound is built for ultra low speed drifting or for drifting on very grippy surface like carpet.

First impression, the package is simple.

There's a card inside with some information about product line up and how to put the tyres on.

The tyres are 2 narrow 8.5mm, and 2 wide 11mm.

The quality is really good. They are smooth throughout the ring.

However, these writings are sticker.

Now let's put them on and see what's what.

I choose to use the heat gun method as usual because it's less messy and I'm afraid the sticker might peel off if I use water.

These are the cars I'll be using.

First is the all wheel drive CS car. This is Mini-Q Q7 with 2.0 CS ratio and 90mm wheelbase.

You can watch the setup video from the card on top right corner or from link in the description.

Higher CS ratio is done after that in another video but the suspension setup is still the same.

Next is Atomic DRZ a RWD drift car. And it is still stock setup.

The final car is my WLtoys RWD mod.

This car is pretty heavy and gear ratio is pretty low so I'll be surprised if these tyres work.

Now let's go and do some drifting.

For AWD CS car the speed drops a bit at the cost of responsiveness.

It is not as sharp as LF-1 but surprisingly better than LF-3 which has more grip.

You can use the LF-4 to match the pace when you run it with slower car.

So learn to maneuver it a bit and you'll have a lot of fun sliding at ultra slow speed.

For RWD, to my surprise it is slower than LF3 but has better control and response.

This is simply amazing! These tyres are magic!

The speed is so low and I didn't think it was possible to control the car sideway this slow.

Even on my WLtoys RWD mod that I haven't set it up properly yet, these tyres make it so much fun to drift.

They are already very good with AWD CS car but with RWD car they are simply the best tyres I've ever used.

This compound is perfect for low speed drifting and for high grip surface.

So my recommendation is the best compound for AWD & CS is LF-1.

And the best compound for RWD is LF-4.

These tyres are not expensive. They are about 6 or 7 dollars per set of 4 tyres, exclude shipping.

So I suggest having both LF-1 and LF-4, you now can skip the LF-3 if you want.

And you can setup your car for any speed and control you like.

Unfortunately these are not widely available unlike their products for 1/10 scale.

So you have to contact them via Facebook for pricing and shipping, link is in the description as always.

And that's it for this video.

Please subscribe if you haven't done it yet and hit the bell icon to get notification whenever I upload a new video.

You can follow me on Facebook to see what I'm doing between videos along with some quick updates.

Thanks for watching. And see you again next time.

Jane Austen: myth, reality and global celebrity - Week 2 tutor review, January 2019 - Duration: 21:30.

hi and welcome to the week two round up for the Jane Austen MOOC I'm Alison

Daniell and this is my colleague Amy Clarke and we've been having a really

really busy week on the MOOC. Yes, it's been fantastic, there have been some fascinating comments that we're really excited to talk about. And we've had so many different topics to cover as

well we've looked at things as diverse as landscape at celebrity at portraits

with very very interestingly some new news about the Rice portrait being

published in The Guardian so there's a link to the latest updates on the Rice

portrait if you haven't seen it already do go to the portrait section and have a

look okay right well we've got a lot to get through this week yeah there has been so much

interesting comment and lots of you actually posting your own links and

adding some really really insightful comments but we've narrowed it all down

and really the thing that we'd like to start by talking about is Austen and how

she observes her characters there's been a lot of comment on this in the on the

message boards and people in particular have been asking where she would get the

inspiration from did she meet these people in real life and one of the

issues that people have been curious to know more about is where she would have

met kind of perhaps the less attractive the seedier side of life

yes let's say like it is, the Wickhams and the Maria Bertrams perhaps and the

Henry Crawfords where did she come into contact with them because really Amy

her image as we see it today is very much it's the genteel English pastoral

ideal you know sort of tea... very moral and very kind of secluded

which when you look at the letters and if you read some of her biographies

actually isn't necessarily the case when you look at her real life experience so

as Alison was saying like lots of the kind of questions people have had

about observing character is how it could be so accurate if

she didn't come into contact with these characters and we're not necessarily

saying that she was best friends with an adulteress or she knew

a Maria Bertram but when you when you look at her letters and you look at her

biographies you see that she was actually exposed to a huge amount of

characters not just from her own reading but also from her own exposure in terms

of society so when she went travelling when she had discussions with her brothers who

obviously were in the Navy and in the city so they would have had a huge amount of experience I

think it's important to note that although she is a clergyman's daughter

who lived most of her life in rural Hampshire this wasn't the extent of her

experiences even growing up as her father was the the parish vicar she

would have come up against all sorts of characters there would have been people

coming to her father for advice there would have been he would had to marry

bury and christen all of his parishioners there would have been a

huge diversity of people living in the village and also he would be the person

that people would have looked to to get some moral guidance yes so if someone

was in a moral quandary if you like he would be the go-to person to discuss

the moral issues about a difficult topic so talking about some of her maybe

reading that how she would have come across these characters it's not just

from novels so it's not just novels like Tom Jones that she'd come across a bit

of a more adventurous side of life these scandalous characters were actually very

much talked about in the newspaper in magazines in popular publications and

were a huge part of the gossip and general conversation of everyday life

throughout society this is not just in the city because these

publications were widely available across the country and so for instance

you get magazines like town and country which was pretty much dedicated

entirely to looking at scandalous affairs or like illicit meetings between

members of the aristocracy or well known individuals and it very much

followed an idea of encouraging people to gossip about and find entertainment

in in these illicit meetings and some of them were real some of them were imagined and

fictional some of them a bit like a you know current Hello! magazine, or a Heat

yes exactly you know there's a mixture of truth and fiction within them

the same sort of judgment and the same kind of excitement and titillation from

having this idea about what different people might might be doing or not doing

so Town and Country had a section that was called Tete a Tete which was

entirely dedicated to these meetings and supposed affairs that might be happening

between different different individuals well even the title Amy I mean that

suggests gossip yeah and two people putting their heads together 'have you heard..?' yeah

exactly so the idea of it was that it's a publication that conveys the sense

that you get in a coffeehouse of that you've got secret gossip that you

yourself heard from a friend or a neighbor and in addition to these people

actually read transcripts of adultery trials because they were so exciting and

they were seen at the time as a kind of as an entertainment as sort of an

adventurous read but also sometimes there's a kind of a softcore pornography

because some of the cases were actually very very shocking and

very scandalous and were hugely discussed one of which that I know a bit

more about is Seymour Worsley and her like illicit affair actually inspired a

huge amount of poetry and inspired an enormous number of prints so she had a

strange relationship with her husband who had voyeuristic tendencies and he

encouraged Seymour to have a relationship with his best friend George

Bisset and he liked to watch their relations okay he liked to watch through

the keyhole or there was a particularly notorious moment where she was actually

undressing in a bathhouse and he got George Bisset to sit on his shoulders

and look through the window and watch her undressing

Seymour decided that she was going to run away with George Bisset and she was

going to leave her husband to have a relationship with George and this

sparked off a very exciting chase through the city to try and find where the two

lovers had run away to and her husband actually brought a criminal conversation

trial against Seymour so this is it's not proper divorce he wanted

separation from bed and board which Alison's going to talk a bit more about

the legal meanings of all of these and what divorce actually meant and

how it could be attained in the 18th century

but throughout the course of this trial her affair came to light became very

very public knowledge people chose to buy a huge amount of you know poetry

that was written about it some poetry that was actually written by Seymour

herself which discussed the more intimate relationships that she had with

other men in graphic detail and as I said there is an enormous amount of caricatures and

prints that were produced which I think we're going to link to some of the

images that people can see they were very very bawdy very very explicit and

hugely widely available even if you didn't choose to buy them if you walked

past a print shop often lots of these images would be pasted on the windows so

that everyone could see them everyone would be talking about them so it was

almost impossible to avoid knowledge of this even if you were a clergyman's

daughter in rural Hampshire and of course Austen wasn't confined to

rural Hampshire she went to Bath she spent time in Bath

she regularly went up to London to visit her brother Henry yeah where she went to

galleries and she went to the theatre so she'd have come across all sorts of

different people and this is the sort of gossip that people would have been the

hot topic of the day it would have been virtually impossible to avoid knowledge

of any of these situations yeah I think one of the things to remember is that

these trials today if you have divorce the court proceedings are all conducted

in private there is nobody else allowed into the courtroom apart from the

lawyers the judge and the parties themselves however this is different in

the 18th century if you want a divorce you have to do it in a public forum the

criminal conversation trial which I'm going to explain a little bit about in a

minute that Amy is talking about was happening in the

King's Bench Courts which were some of the main public courts available for

all sorts of actions and it was seen as quite a fun day's entertainment to go

along to a trial the public galleries would be packed and for some of these

trials people actually they were sold tickets to go and attend them so one

very famous trial of course is the Duchess of Kingston who she had a enormous very

very public kind of internationally publicized trial for bigamy

and people had to buy tickets to go and see the trial they had to post

police officers around the doors to stop the crowd from pressing their way in to

try and see what was going on hear some exciting gossip find out what the

next bit of titillating scandal that was going to be revealed

from the trial which might seem a bit odd today to think that it could be such

a public entertainment, well I think coming from a background coming from a legal

background myself where I actually did qualify as a barrister and spent quite a

lot of time in court there is a very theatrical edge to the law I mean people

dress up they write speeches you are expected to sit there and be quiet, listen to

somebody else speaking, and get to see exciting characters exactly and you get to see a story unfold the

whole thing as a lawyer when you are planning your defence or your

prosecution or your case is to make sure that there's a narrative within that and

that that unfolds properly and at an appropriate place for people to be able

to follow and to have sympathy with your client I think that's really important

that there were professional lawyers people like Garrow who were almost

celebrities in their own right who would be positioning the narrative within the

case so that the judge and the public would kind of root for their client as

opposed to the other side yeah well because character description character

witness was so important in the 18th century yes so if you wanted to get a

divorce in the 18th century there were a couple of ways you could do it you could

go to the church courts and you could get what was known as a divorce XXXX

now that's kind of analogous these days to a kind of judicial

separation so the marriage would not be ended but if you like your

responsibility to your spouse would come to an end so you were no longer

obliged to live with them or provide for them or do anything else for them but

then you could not remarry the church courts also if there was something

fundamentally wrong with the marriage itself there was the church court could

end the marriage with an annulment and you could get this sometimes for

something that had happened after the marriage ceremony for example if

one of the parties was impotent you could get the marriage

was voidable yeah however if there was something wrong with the marriage

ceremony itself for example if one of the parties had been married previously

or if they've been got married to the wrong person or anything like that that

really went to the issue of consent or to the the validity of the marriage

itself the marriage could be annulled however if your marriage had been

absolutely fine and it had been conducted properly the only way that you could get

a divorce that would then allow you to remarry was by Act of Parliament and in

order to get an act of parliament you had to first go to the King's Bench

court and get a criminal conversation judgment against your opponent now only

men were allowed until 1801 which was the first divorce in Parliament for a

woman until 1801 it was only men who could obtain this and they could only do

so for their wives adultery and they brought the case against

the man who the woman had had so for instance in Seymour's Worsley's case her

husband Richard Worsley brought a criminal conversation not against her

but against George Bisset from which he would have been given damages yeah

so it's effectively you would hope if you were the husband bringing the case

against your wife's lover that you would get compensation for the concept being

that your wife is worth a particular amount of money she is considered your

property and the lover has damaged that property so you get the adequate amount

of compensation that the court decides is is relevant or is the correct amount

for the wife and it's really interesting because there's been a lot of discussion

on the message boards about the idea of a transactional marriage whereby women

are seen as a commodity going into marriage and they're effectively

exchanged for money they're expected to bring money into the relationship and

this is the opposite yes this is the transactional divorce where the wife

is still the commodity yeah you're basically getting

your insurance compensation because the husband's right to

that property has been damaged or tarnished yeah exactly but once you had

your criminal conversation conviction and hopefully your damages your damages

would then go on to fund the legal procedure that you needed to get a

divorce by way of act of Parliament which is exactly what it says which is

that Parliament had to enact legislation passed by both houses that said your

marriage was at an end and this had first come in right at the very very end of the

17th century and it gradually got more and more popular as we went through the

18th century but there's still only a few hundred cases even by the time

you get to the beginning of the 19th century so it is quite it's quite an

elite activity although it wasn't just aristocrats who did undertake it would

be very important for the elite to want to be able to attain the ability to get

a new wife because if you haven't had children with you know with the

wife who has then had an affair you won't have any legitimate heirs that can

be taking on your title taking on your property and your estate which was a real

cause of anxiety you know particularly if you thought your wife was going to

live a very long time and not be able to produce any more legitimate heirs for

you yes so possibly even more scary than not having any heirs at all might be

getting the wrong heirs and it might be having children who

were born to your wife's lover hmm who could then inherit your estate which was

effectively yeah seen as a theft of that property because there's a presumption

of legitimacy within marriage that any children that are born with in wedlock

are presumed to belong to the husband and the wife but that might not be the

case and this obviously caused a lot of anxiety amongst aristocrats and the

landed gentry who wanted to make sure that you know the right heirs received the

money and the family property I think this idea of female value and kind of

the transactional element of marriage actually might touch on one of

the other comments that we've noticed which was about wife selling yeah it was

a question about the practice of this and how how often this actually happened

yes in the 18th century and I need to apologize because somebody did post

up a question about wife-selling and I went away and I researched it and then

I haven't found your quote, so huge apologies if you did but yes wife's her

wife selling was carried out there are certainly newspaper reports of this

happening and of course it's famously used as the

basis for the plot in the Mayor of Casterbridge

however wife selling was not a valid way of ending your marriage people did it

because if you were an agricultural laborer in the mid 18th century there

really wasn't a lot of option for you were going to be able to even get to

London let alone afford the lawyers fees for a criminal con trial and a

parliamentary divorce so people did do it but it was not legitimate so say

you sold your wife and then you remarried technically that would make

you a bigamist mhm yeah and as we were talking about earlier

actually there's quite a few instances of bigamy where people have tried to yes

people tried to get away with it and exactly as you say sort of acted as

though they were married to a different partner referred to the other partner as

their wife there are unmarried women that were referred to as Mrs

Whoever in the community which generally was okay as long as it wasn't public

knowledge the moment the fact that the marriage wasn't legitimate became public

knowledge was tested in any way it was hugely damaging and the house of cards fell

down yeah enormous enormous ramifications yes

but Jane Austen herself of course was moving in circles in society where she

would have come across this and there's a famous letter which was written I

think in 1801 to her sister Cassandra when she was at Bath and she says 'I'm

proud to say that I have a very good eye at an adulteress and though repeatedly

assured that another in the party was she I fixed upon the right one from the

first' so Austen was not not only was she meeting these people she was taking that

knowledge in her stride and in fact she immortalized an adulteress as the

protagonist in one of her earliest books Lady Susan which was written when she

was about nineteen which is quite extraordinary when you think about

the comparison with that and the impression that is often had of Austen

as this very pastoral very sheltered very secluded rather prim and proper

woman who is very overly obsessed maybe with morals or the way

everything should be and whilst Amy and I are not suggesting for a moment that

she would have endorsed this behavior I think that like the rest of 18th century

society she probably enjoyed hearing about it I think she is certainly not shocked

yeah in in that extract I think particularly from that quote you get a sense that

there's a real enjoyment and satisfaction from her ability to be able

to spot the adulteress and how engaged she is in this activity that everyone's

been gossiping about which woman it was trying to you know pick her out from the

crowd there's been like a very very fun very titillating atmosphere leading up

to this and another thing that's very interesting about that quote as well is

that there was this myth or misnomer if you like in the 18th century that

immorality made itself visible in a woman's body so the idea that you'd be

able to spot an adulteress wasn't necessarily unheard of it was is that

there's a lot of so you look at some of the caricatures of Seymour Worsley and

some of the other women that were thought of as immoral they get very much

portrayed as masking their true self so the true self underneath fashion and

all the distracting jewels and distracting makeup it's quite ugly often

quite overweight or very scrawny you get that as well you get these kind of haggard

women there is a fantastic caricature that's called the image that's called the six

stages of mending a face which completely illustrates this that you get

this sort of grotesque image of a woman of Lady Sarah Archer and then it

shows the various stages of her preparing her her dress and her makeup

until at the very end she looks completely different to the woman at the

very beginning and the idea that immorality made itself visible in

the female body is that the woman who was immoral would look like that first

image that there would be something in her demeanour something in her appearance

that would make that that ugliness of inner character physically visible to to

the public stage actually that's still with us today

you know I happened to chance upon the film version of Roald Dahl's The Witches

at Christmas where one of the main plot themes is that ugly old

witches and again you get that physical manifestation of the kind of the yeah

that the the lack of morality on the inside you get a physical manifestation

is disguised and they will make themselves look I mean Angelina Jolie

just looks fantastically glamorous most of the time but then she peels off

her mask which I think is completely seen in the Crawfords yeah in

Mansfield Park yes they're very fashionable they're very you know

outwardly looking beautiful but they're masking an inner ugliness

and the whole process of the novel you kind of see that that veneer get peeled

off layer by layer and the other characters seeing this veneer be removed

and you know particularly Edmund suddenly comes to the realization of what

she's actually like absolutely his innate goodness comes through and

allows him to have that perception well I think we've just about covered

everything that we need to cover we're looking forward to next week yeah well

we'll be having lots more exciting discussions about adaptation in particular

which will be fascinating going forward thinking about the different ways that

Austen's been repackaged and can be reinterpreted and the different ways

that Austen's been presented and may be understood or misunderstood by the

modern audience yes so we hope you enjoy next week and we shall see you on the

message boards yes we look forward to seeing you there bye

This is for all people who want to use a EF/EF-S lens on a Canon M series.

(Joke) Conclusion: This interest nobody. But we will continue this video anyway! :D

This thing costs you 35 euros. Its a good choice comparing the expensive Canon one.

The adapter is cheap, but you get also a nice package!

Beside the Viltrox thing, you will get a manual and a warranty card.

The packaging ist nice, because of the soft foam inside of the box.

And now the focus to the adapter. He comes with two lens caps. They are really nice!

And a metal mount you can remove if you dont want it.

The adapter is 6.6cm tall and 2.2cm wide. His weight with the mount is 222g and without 177g!

If you mount it to a lens, you will notice that this thing has a really good quality!

It works really fine when you combine it to the camera.

Why Polar SUCKS (Spoiler-Free Review) - Duration: 0:55.

The main issue with this movie is that it focuses on personality rather than action

and it sucks at it.

Most of the characters are extremely unlikable.

The humor is all lol xd random.

The lines that try to be badass are lame.

And some of the lines are just fucking weird.

But it doesn't end there.

In John Wick, a good action movie, the hero gets salty cause bad guys kill his dog.

But In this intellectual action movie, the hero kills his own dog.

There's also a scene where two characters are talking, it cuts away, there's a dramatic

gunshot, and then it cuts back to them talking like nothing happened.

If I had to rate this I'd give it a go watch Hannibal instead out of 10, and here's a

shot of the fearsome main bad guy for the road.

Let's Review Sonic Chaos feat. A+Start (Interview on Sonic Chaos Remake) - Duration: 20:35.

It's late in the year of 1993.

And the Master System was coming to the end of its life-span in Europe

and was already discontinued in North America and Japan.

But it had a good run and a sweet library of games.

The brilliant Sonic 1,

the not-so-brilliant Sonic 2,

as well as other classic plays such as Hang-On,

Streets of Rage,

The Lion King,

heck, I even have a soft spot for 'The Ninja',

despite being terrible at it.

But I digress, with Sonic the Hedgehog 3 for the Mega Drive only being a few months away,

it seemed like it was time for the Master System to stop receiving the Sonic treatment.

Actually, no, they could still milk it a bit further.

Sonic Chaos!

Known as Sonic and Tails in Japan,

arrived for the Master System in Europe.

And as already mentioned,

with the console being obsolete almost everywhere else,

North America and Japan only got the Game Gear version.

Yay(!)

And I have to say,

when I initially got my hands on this and booted up for the first time,

I was… 'umm'ing and 'ahh'ing.

I really did not know what to make of it.

At a glance, the sprite art looked poor and the level graphics appeared crowded,

yet it was all bigger and clearer at the same time.

Honestly, I had to do a double check to make sure Sonic Chaos was even an official Sonic game

and not a cheap bootleg.

But no, it's right there.

Brought to you by the same developers who created Sonic 2.

And that title left a sour taste in my mouth.

But will my palate be revived after playing this Chaotic 8-bit classic?

Will my early uncertainty be lifted once giving this game the full time and appraisal?

Let's not waste another second and dive right into this Sonic Chaos Review!

I'm now going to waste a few more moments with my Intro.

All of the game footage you're seeing is being played and recorded from real hardware

unless the video states otherwise.

Just like it was for my Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 Master System retrospectives;

which I highly endorse you watch beforehand.

Not that the plot exactly follows on from the predecessors.

According to playing the game alone;

Eggman steals a Chaos Emerald, and requires the remaining five.

Grab them along the way and as a token of his appreciation,

he'll give you back the emerald he took.

Okay...

Sonic then gets locked up in the Crystal Maze's Dome.

The End.

Eh, what?

What kind of logic is that?

Does the mad man feel pressured by stares in the retro games or something?

If you however do not collect the colourful stones,

Eggman suddenly remembers he has an IQ of 300 and flies away after the final fight.

The ending cutscene is presented which is practically a duplicate of the intro

but with a plain background,

but Sonic concludes with the most pathetic temper tantrum I've ever seen

and then gives chase again.

Try again.

And with Tails, cor, what a bully he is!

He can't seem to get the gems in his run for some bizarre reason

so he just finds Eggman,

beats him up senseless

and scares him out of his fortress.

Then Tails gets bored and runs back home.

I don't think any of us were really that bothered about what was going on;

no one ever checked the manual for anything back in them days.

But for the sake of this video;

The antagonist being Eggman steals one of the emeralds,

which meant the other emeralds became anxious from being separated

and therefore, separate themselves further.

Makes total sense.

As a result,

unbalance was bought to South Island with terrible storms and earthquakes wreaking havoc!

I have no sympathy for Green Hill there!

Sonic and Tails, well Sonic mainly, goes and saves the day.

So, what, you get to play as Tails in this quest?

Too right you do, he's now a selectable character!

And it's not a bad start for the little fella as he's considered as the easy mode.

You start with 5 lives and three continues in the bank!

You're able to fly to reach higher ledges with comfort,

and 100 rings gives you a 1-up rather than opening the special stages,

giving you even less to worry about.

He does however seem to have a flying impediment though.

Instead of pressing the jump button in mid-air to activate like in the classics,

you have to have both feet on the ground and be faultlessly still,

face the sky and then press the jump button.

In which Tails then hovers in the strictest manner I've ever seen.

To be fair, I believe this is the very first official game

where Tails has the skill to fly,

nevertheless, there's no momentum or gravity to his capability

and he ignores all laws of physics.

But I suppose it makes his ability calmer to control.

You use the D-pad to move the fox in the direction you want him to go

and he steadily obeys his given directions.

There's no need to repeatedly stress the jump buttons here.

Eventually, like all games, he gets tired and his weight becomes a thing again.

But no matter, while on the ground he can spin dash!

We finally have one of the best gifts ever invented

in the Sonic series come to life in the 8-bit genre.

Be that as it may, the golden sidekick loses his tails when spin dashing

or rolling,

or jumping...

It looks very out-of-place!

Ha, uh(!)

But except for that small mis-placement,

Tails is looking very stylish.

He always has that determined look on his face,

he's at the perfect size and uses the correct colour for his fur.

It gives the impression the designers were trying to give Tails the Mega Drive look,

but in an 8-bit form.

Sonic on the other hand,

Good gracious!

What have they done to you?

He's had his hair trimmed to look like the Dorito triangles.

His legs have been awkwardly stretched as if he took some advice from this guy!

And when he runs, he's waddles from side to side.

I can see why they changed his sprite-work in this game,

seeming as Sonic 1 and 2 were practically identical and it needed an overhaul.

And with Tails given the 3D effect,

it wouldn't make sense if the main hero didn't receive the same treatment,

but, compared to Tails,

our blue blur just looks like a cardboard cut-out.

Why did it work out for our younger pal but not for the main protagonist?

Is it the limited shading?

His big fat head?

I can't quite put my finger on it.

What do you guys think?

I would love to hear from you in the comments.

But hey, at least Sonic can now spin dash

which I found extremely useful for passing through corkscrews

and looping around... well, loops.

Sonic clearly cannot fly but he can do the super peel-out.

Two new more mechanics have been added into the adventure.

The long-forgotten hop springs

where Sonic and Tails treat the stage as a bouncy castle to gain extra height,

and the rocket shoes exclusive for Sonic

because screw you Tails, you can already fly,

gives you the ability to blast through the air like nobody's business for a partial stretch.

It's a great way to skip over the level design if you're in a hurry!

But why would you want to bypass over those attractive visuals?

Admittedly, it's not the strongest work of art in the series,

but there's still plenty of detail where needed

and all zones here have got a fresh coat of paint

rather than borrowing assets from other Sonic chapters.

Yet, everything seems a bit larger compared to the former Master System's.

But I welcome that change because it's more pleasing to the eye.

I will say though that there appears to be an insane number of repeated tiles

plastered left-right-centre and it comes across a bit lazy.

Also, not one stage design blew me away.

Jungle Zone in Sonic 1 did, and remains to be my favourite to this very day,

and the outside of Aqua Lake for Sonic 2 was pretty elegant also,

but in here, the best this game ever got out of me was,

"This looks good"

and that was that.

Having said that, Electric Egg has some dynamic flooring

that tail-gated you wherever you ran

and the technical circuit board flowing in the background was also a nice touch.

Which makes me question; what the heck happened to all the other backgrounds?

Did they become camera shy or something?

Very little to optically see and a lot of solid colour.

And Mecha Green Hill which God-forbid they leave out the used-to-death zone name,

looks really bleak and boring.

Which in hindsight, it has been taken over by

"Eggman's robots"

so eh, mission accomplished I suppose!

What I'm trying to say is, they've met their target in creating the right atmosphere,

but at the same time, it will leave a lot to be desired.

Particularly the presentation in this instalment.

Now this is a bit of a grey area to talk about

because I just don't know whether to praise the demonstrations,

or just down-right slate it.

Hear me out.

Right off the bat, you're shown an introductory cutscene

which is related to Sonic 2's opening but without the surrounding emblem.

So, thumbs up for the clearer performance,

but a dislike for the similar story introduction.

It's pretty much just bigger, and has replaced Tails with a lozenge, but that's it.

The title screen is next and apart from for the plain blue background,

I've got nothing but admiration for this display.

Gone away with the insignia banner combination,

they've tried a new aspect and it's really paid off

with the smart look of the shaded ring and the comprehensive expression of our heroes.

But it's from here, the title cards that appear before each act,

and the result screen, have been downgraded since its precursor.

It's simple to read and gets the stats you require, sure,

but I definitely prefer Sonic 2's style.

Sonic Chaos' presentation is a little lacking.

But I'll tell you what has finally arrived to Sonic's Master System expedition

is the inclusion of special stages!

About bleedin' time!

I love the way you have to have to enter them too!

No need to discover big rings,

or checkpoints which require special permits.

Just find 100 rings in the zone and Sonic will automatically warp to the trials.

It can be pretty tough obtaining that many rings without losing some;

particularly as there's no such things as shields again!

But with this game being pretty easy,

and they have given you more than enough chances to acquire that many, you should be fine.

So what field is the special stages representing for this game?

Well it differs.

All five special stages,

yes, five,

because Eggman took the sixth emerald,

consists of variant level gimmicks.

The first task is to

"blast through with Sonic speed"

and grab the emerald towards the end.

And the challenges keep on altering.

From bouncing your way to the top of "Floating Platform Land",

to cleansing the pipes in particular mazes.

It's a bit of a bummer that there are two tube encounters

and two sky rocketing exercises

but the latter can be pretty tough to reach in time.

And as simple as they are,

3 of the 5 rounds I would say takes some trial and error

and you may not grab the reward on your first go.

Really, except for them not being exactly technically amazing,

they're the absolute equity to what we need for perusing the fulfilled game.

And by fulfilled game, I mean you get to see the credits and that's essentially it.

No Super Sonic, like always, but there's no secret level this time around either.

They're just lucky that I like to add a bit of spice to my game play

and complete the Special Stages anyway seeming as the whole game is super short!

And I mean, several levels can be completed within 30 seconds.

Including the final zone which is such a breeze to speed on through.

Even the signpost likes to calculate your speed and ask,

"How'd you get here so quickly?"

By the by, I don't know how these speedometers work.

Yet again, the signpost causes a commotion and it isn't easily explained in the manual--

Holy crud!

Are the instructions telling me how to gain a Sonic sign post?

It's a miracle!

Apart from that, no idea how to display the other cast or the rings or--

Did I just break the game?

The manual says nothing.

Okay then.

It happened again another 2 times and I found out this is an actual feature!

You have to spin it again!

You gain nothing and you lose nothing with this happening, so what's the freaking point?

Such a waste of time coding this useless innovation.

And it so happens, the bosses almost got the same treatment.

Seriously, I'm not even attempting to hurt him and here,

I am waiting for him to attack but he does... nothing.

Yawn!

Now this is definitely broken.

Even the final boss isn't too difficult when you get the hang of the physics to this game.

Just watch how many hits I hand to him before I land on the ground.

Except for a few occasional hiccups, some of which were totally not my fault!

If I'm going down, I'm taking you with me!

I can't see anyone struggling with these bosses.

But at least they've finally given us rings for the battles now...

which just makes it a ton easier!

Unfortunately, there is one fundamental flaw affecting the gameplay which is hard to ignore.

The slowdown is unreal in this game!

I mean for the love of Monkey Trumpets, the lag is everywhere!

In high traffic areas which is forgivable,

in calm, quiet places which is unacceptable,

even as soon as you start the very first act of the primary level, boom! Frame drop.

Who on earth gave this game the greenlight in the condition it's currently in?

It's pathetic.

A few times my button presses weren't even registering

and what knacked me off was that I was only 1 ring from entering the damn special stage!

Okay, before you go and fetch your pitchforks,

yes, sure,

both previous ancestors also contained pace-breaking gameplay here and there,

but it was understandable.

With being underwater alongside air bubbles floating,

by rings jumping all over the place because of the crab being in the gangway, the little pri--

Pinch!

I'll go with pinch.

But this title is sluggier than a... slug.

I had nothing, let me have this!

It's a tad smoother on the game Gear version but even then, it's still present.

It's a shame really because if it weren't for the slothfulness,

the gameplay would have been alright.

It's not all bad news though.

As the tunes for this adventure are pretty jammin'.

First of all, that sound as I've personally dubbed as the 'beat-boxing' effect

has been greatly reduced since Sonic 2 but still a notch louder than Sonic 1.

Meaning it's still noticeable,

but it's not a hindrance as before and it settles in nicely.

Therefore, I can finally indulge in hearing all of the other instruments that make up the songs.

The whole soundtrack to Sonic Chaos is an enjoyable listen.

Dare I say it's one of the best so far?

Either way, I cannot get enough of Aqua Planet's melody.

If I have to be honest, before I started to play the game and put my analysis forward,

I wasn't confident on what to think and now, ugh, I'm still not sure.

Since Sonic 2, a few elements have improved such as special stages,

the spin dash and the music,

but other foundations brought it back down such as the game being way too easy and short,

the graphics being sub-par and the lag!

There are also some minor bugs in this game.

For example, the rings have such a tight collision area.

Here I am going perfectly straight not touching the D-pad

and abruptly I stop gathering rings...

Why?

Or how about this?

I collected 100 rings fair and square.

Wait, what?

I got kicked out immediately!

What was the timer on for that special stage; zero?!

That son of a--

Glitch!

Hey, what's going on?

A+Start: Oh, sorry, I thought you were going to swear so I had to cut in!

RHS: Aw, man, aren't you the guy behind the remake on Sonic Chaos?

A+Start: I sure am!

Well, it's not just me; there's also a team of really talented people joining me on this project.

RHS: I'd love to hear more.

This is one of my favourite fan games in SAGE last year.

So, who are the awesome guys behind this development?

A+Start: Firstly, we have Mr. Potatobadger, who's not only the lead programmer on the entire project,

he's also the one responsible for making the Crimson Engine that powers the entire game.

And he's joined by TheStoneBanana who also programs the game and is incredibly talented for his age.

What these two guys have done in the past year and a half

is amazing to bring what is essentially a fan game

into something that actually feels more like a real Sonic game.

Any ideas that I've had with the game I've been able to send their way

and they've been able to kind of make it a reality.

RHS: Oh wow, it sounds like they got a lot ahead of them

but I'm glad you got extra members in your crew to help get them support?

A+Start: We have Heraga, Jassbec and Sparks

who work together to work on the level design.

We also have Tpot who kind of doubles as a programmer and also,

he's like our go-to guy if we have a problem; amazing team member.

And then finally on music we have Michael Staple

who is just killing it with this soundtrack for this game.

Some of the things that I've asked him to do, he kind of just nails!

One great example is Turquoise Hill Zone Act 1.

I kind of wanted to go with something that wasn't the original theme

and so I described to him something that was a bit more the first stage of a game

and a bit friendlier to the player,

and he took the original theme from the original games

and kind of made it something a bit more playful

and a bit more beach themed I want to say.

And it fit the whole Act 1 being the first stage and welcoming you into the game

and he just nailed it!

And that's not to mention things like the boss themes

and all the options menus and things like that.

Just the music for this game is going to be incredible

and it's mostly just his genius that kind of carries the whole thing.

And then my job on the whole project is basically the Game Director

but I also do all the artwork, all the animation, all the kind of,

everything you've seen from the title screen to just some of the new animations with Sonic,

the zone looks and designs, which kind of evolve over time.

You never go with your first draft; you always kind of try to figure the design out.

And we're still working on that,

there's still a lot of things that people have seen that we may change.

And there's also a lot of things that they haven't seen which we will eventually reveal.

RHS: I had no idea how much work had to go into a remake!

So, how did this all come together?

A+Start: The story behind this Sonic Chaos remake is actually kind of funny

because it really started out as a joke.

I did some mock-up designs and posted them on Twitter

and then Mr. Potatobadger actually approached me and said,

"we could actually make this!"

And the whole premise behind this remake is to do something along the lines of Sonic Mania

but what would Sonic Chaos look like if it was Sonic Mania?

That kind of idea. Just taking an older game and reinventing it to be something new and modern.

I know that sounds kind of weird

in the context that it's a pixel art Classic Sonic game but you get what I'm going for.

RHS: When I first saw the trailer, I did mistake it for being a Sonic Mania mod.

For that alone, these guys must know what they're doing!

The team is fantastic.

There's a lot of things you don't see when you consider how a game is made.

And you know that obviously there's things like the visuals and the music to the game

and that's something you can see first-hand,

but you really have to commend everybody that's working behind the scenes

and the jobs that you don't necessarily think of.

These guys just, kill it!

Absolutely nail it.

So, expect to see more from this game in the future!

There's some more demos to come but there's already a demo that you guys can play right now.

Absolutely, for everyone's convenience,

I have left a link in the video description to the download page

where you can try the SAGE 2018 demo for yourselves.

As you can see, I've played it and I am full of anticipation

to see what's to come from this project.

Although this early sample does show a few bugs such as contact errors on the monitors

and...this.

But in all honesty, I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

But until then, how about next Saturday,

I'll do a live stream of Sonic Chaos using the Game Gear?

The details for that can be found in the description.

Thanks ever so much for watching guys!

Hostile Springs Hinoka, Sakura, Elise & Ryoma Builds & Review - Fire Emblem Heroes - Duration: 21:10.

What's up guys on Phoenix master one and welcome back for some more fireman heroes

And in this video, I'm gonna be taking a look at the hot springs banner. Which features Honoka rail

Ma, Elise and Sakura and their seasonal outfits and these are the topics. I'm gonna be talking about in this video

so let us begin I

Don't even need armor

Honoka is a green dagger flier and she's got the golden standard

3535 offenses which are of course really good even now and

She does a workable magical bog at 26 resistance and 30 HP

But not really very high defense

She comes with splashy bucket Plus which is pretty much an improved version of cloud myogi

so it is effective on dragon units and it

Just disables the adaptive damage with dragon Stu to range units so they will be targeting her resistance, which is workable at 26

it's not really the highest but still it's better than hitting her defense and it also disabled skills like wrathful staff so she will be

Taking less damage from staff units, which is really good

And this is got a solid application with Null-C disrupt

But unfortunately being a flying unit Honoka can normally inherit that this weapon is really nice for checking dragons and for checking healers

Of course, which are super annoying you need their raids and because of Honoka is green color

She's really

Powerful against blue dragons and has neutral a up against rune dragons like Mele Grima but red dragons can survive

which is deftly unfortunate so the green color in my opinion hurts her more than it helps her and

She's got drawback as a resist kill, which is good with a length scale

But I really wish they just gave her

Reposition and she's got a really similar kid to nears fee on with attack speed bond an attack speed link

Which helped her a lot?

with her

Offenses and can also help her support her teammates and she's got this new slot to skill area orders which gives the warp powder effect

Two flying allies for one turn if they start beside her and this could be pretty nice with her attack speed bond skill

But the thing is that you know, look at herself doesn't really get this buff

So it doesn't really work like armored March where the unit itself will be getting that buff. So that is definitely unfortunate

And this is just another flying mobility skill that we have got that can be annoying in ether raids in my opinion flier guidance

Is a bit better and we already have flyer formation as well

And we're also going to be getting aerobatic sacred seal in the next tempest trial

So that's the thing but still it's good for mixed teams and teams would like to stay together and just another

flyer mobility option for fliers

So overall, you know guys a powerful Dragon Slayer with that offensive spread of 35:35

And she's extremely similar to New York City arm and both stat spread and also in her base kit

But she doesn't have access to something like brave bow or 5c bow, and she is really good

But that splashy bucket Plus which is better than cloud myogi

and if he got multiple copies of Honoka then he could of course fought her off for splashy bucket plus and

high attack diary nets like winter Cecilia and Halloween kagero

are really good recipients of Fett and they also have the resistance to easily take on dragons and

Also healers and they have God access to those broken armor skills

As I said before Null-C disrupt has got really good synergy with splashy bucket plus because of the fact that it can nullify

wrathful staff and then Null-C disrupt can nullify dazzling staff

So someone like Cosley who has got pretty good resistance or even normal Kagero

Actually, I've not really mentioned her here

But still normal Kagero and cause they are pretty good users of splashy bucket + and Null-C disrupt on their slot B

And because their infantry daggers, they're the only ones who can have access to this combo

You can also fire off for attack speed link as it is. Also a pretty rare skill

leisurely Lucena is the prime candidate for any kind of link skill because of future vision and in and select summer camilla who have got

a rather open slobby skill thanks to their weapon like juicy wave plus and also runny link skill and be self-sufficient and

A smite enid like titania can also run this and be a really nice support unit and something like ether raids and finally

Erica is also a great recipient of this because of her sequined refined

time to work up a sweat in

Okis first build is a budget build

All you need to do is giver glimmer

Which is fantastic with an effective weapon and have a seal like attack speed too

You could also run attack speed bomb sacred seal and have that double bonds

But the thing is that it's way too reliant on bonds and they're not really the best

options in player face because positioning can be hard and sometimes you just have to

Position another unit and waste their turn to get that boost in the player face

So it is an option but it's heavily reliant on bonds and our third build uses attack smoke and speed smoke

This is just a utility build

And if you want to salvage the - speed or - attack Anoka this can be done as she can check dragons and also provide

This debuff utility. Her fourth build is a budget flyer support with her default attack speed link and fortify fliers

She can provide +6 buff to all stats of a flying Ally which can be useful her

Next build uses the very original combination of fury and desperation with brazen seal

but it does work for her gives her the resistance for taking on dragons and healers and

Can also help her get into the desperation range, and these skills do have pretty good synergy her 6th build uses barb shuriken

splashy bucket + splashy bucket + is a really specific weapon and it doesn't really have much usage if the

Enemy team doesn't really have any kind of dragon or a healer

The barb shuriken is nice

if you want to have

More flexible matchups and the - one special cooldown can be really nice with moon bow and something like brazen attack rest and fury

Desperation her 7th build requires her to devour her gnar counterpart camilla

and

this can be really nice built on her because she's got nice 35 base attack and the fact that she's got attack speed lengths by

Default and if you combo that up with quickened pulse you can have draconic

Aura ready a start up combat

and that's really good for ether eights offense and

Also for defense laughs and that can also be run if you want to increase her raw damage output on her first encounter

With that draconic aura, but fury also gets the job done without reducing her fault

Her next build also requires her to devour a norian and this time it's gonna be Elise

So Honoka is an amazing user of red hot dogs because of having good speed and good attack which enables her to use heavy

Sacred filled with an AoE special now red hot dogs does give you the +7 true damage

Which is really really good with an AoE

Special and you do have to run life-and-death to increase your daily damage because it calculates the visible attack

which you have got and

that can lower Honoka is bought by quite a lot her final build use a starfish + and I think Summerland

is gonna be on the next letter e banner and this preserves our attack speed link and you do not have to miss out on

Something like desperation. It does use double bonds

But if you do not like that, then you could run heavy plate instead and this is overall a really expensive build

Refreshing

Soccer s ii flying healer in the game with really good based attack of 35 for a healer and work about speed at base

32 she can be compared to Halloween mia who's the other flying healer?

and in my opinion

Sakura is just a bit better than Halloween mia because of having more attack

Even though she has got two less speed

The increased attack is obviously good for combat, but it also scales up her healing potential with the skills

And she also has much better defense so she can run some belt which halloween mia cannot really run

Sakura also comes with wrathful staff by defaults that makes it a bit more easy for you to have that razzle-dazzle combo

which mia doesn't really come with but mia has God which he want Plus which is a really good weapon in the face of

Skills like steady bread bullfighter vengeful fighter which are super popular in the meta game

So Sakura has got a nice stat spread and that defense can definitely open up some opportunities

for some close counter built as you guys will see and

She comes with grand stretcher Plus this weapon gives minus one special cooldown to the allied with the highest attack at start of turn whine

And this can be really nice with infantry pods

But unfortunately Sakura cannot really run that

But silly could use that in ether raids with infantry pellets on other units and that can be really powerful

It's a really nice supportive weapon with a more strict condition compared to infantry

pulse-width having highest attack on the ally but if you try to work together your team in the way that all of them have got

The same attack stat then all of them will be getting - when cooled down to their specials

It just works like a tack opening and I have discussed that before as well

She comes to physic class

which is really good with the mobility of a flier that she has caught and it also

synergizes with bc nuts if you run that with her

Because she can just heal them up from a distance and not really interfere with their

Transformation condition and still provide them with the good flier stuff

She's got one of those new bomb skills

And this one gives +6 attack and +6

Resistance to allies for one turn and that's amazing for support with the fact that she's got speed opening and can also provide - one

Cool down to the ally who has got the highest attack

So this makes her you really nice support he met she already counted wrathful staff

So you just have to refine her weapon with dazzling effect

And your convoy is done and speed opening is a new skill, which she has God

which gives well six feet to ally with the high speed stat speed opening is slightly better than attack opening in terms of

Competition because at our tactic is easily available at four stars

which can give competition to attack opening and we don't really have speed tactic easily available to speed opening definitely has some

Applications and it can be really nice where BC nuts as I said and it does synergize really well with physic plus

Where she's not gonna be near an ally but if you're gonna be using her on a flat mum team then you can just run

Good flyers, and that's just much better. So overall Sakura is a really nice flying healer and in my opinion

She's the best in and out of this banner which gives you the most amount of value

Because the mobility of a flyer on the healer is definitely amazing and she's also really good supporting it with her base kit

She's got a lot of good skills

And if you get extra copies of freaka

Definitely fought her off for one of those but gran scratcher plus in my opinion is d skill

What stands out most out of her base kit? So this is really nice

if you combine it with infantry pulse on healers like azama RIS and Loki who have got really high HP and

They can easily run infantry pellets high panic ploy and even have something like chill attack to support their teammates

This straight-up gives - to cool down to the ally who has got the highest attack

Which is definitely insane when you consider that he could just run quick on thoughts on that ally as well and pretty much get

- three special cooldown on start up turn one and that's really good for setting up

something like special spiral and boa specials

This can be really powerful in both arena and ether raids and in general and most like tempest trial

You're just gonna be getting the - - special cooldown on every new map

So ground structure plus on these high HP healers is definitely amazing

hidden cost

Sagas first built as a budget build

All you wanna do is run double attack plus three and she ends up at fifty three attack

Which is really nice for a healer, and she already comes with wrathful staffs

all you need to do as this refiner weapon with dazzling refine and her second build uses speed plus three an attack speed - and

She's got workable speed stat deftly and on the emblem team with good fliers or home fires buff

She can definitely reach

Respectable speed her third build is a very expensive build requiring Christmas Erica for her attack opening because it has got the same

Activation condition as gran scratcher Plus and this can be really potent on a team with units who have got the same attack stats

so they're gonna be getting +6 attack and also -1 cooldown to all of their

Specials which can definitely be really powerful

Her fourth build as the standard pain + build and she can receive emblem buffs and has amazing mobility a 5th flyer

So it's a really strong option on her and her fifth build uses pain plus and Vantage with close counter now

Sakura's got amazing base 35 attack for a healer and you could just run close counter and give that splash damage

To your enemy and it can make it really easy for you to get those Vantage killed but still

And something like ether raids other razzle-dazzle healers can easily break through your Vantage

And the thing is that Sakura does have a workable defense stat. So what's something like defense tactic buffer drive defense support?

She could definitely survive at least one had to get into the advantage rain safely

her final build uses absorb + quicker post and close counter to Sakura has God really nice attack for a healer and also,

Has workable defense at as I said an even defense wave can be obtained from Silas and she can reach 30

Defense in the enemy face with this build and you can also give her flyer buffs like fortify flyers and warp fliers

To make her even more tanky

but the only problem is that

She likes killing power because of the abysmal might of absorb + and she has got pretty low HP pooled so unit sweat

Specials get easily one round here if they can double her. So that's definitely a big problem

I am so refreshed

At Lisa's the first red dagger Cavalier, and she has got a pretty nice peach shot at base 37 and

Workable attack at base 33. Other than that she doesn't really have anything impressive on her stat spread

She's got really low bulk and low HP pooled. So she's extremely frail

She comes with red-hot docks, which has got the weapon effect of vassals blade Giga Excalibur or Raven king beak

And this gives her true damage based off on our speed compared to the enemy speed and this can go up to

+7 to damage, which is amazing because Elise is really fast

She can easily get the honk aviary buff and she already has so Sparrow

So this is a fantastic weapon for Elise and a lot of dagger units were really really fast

because there isn't really any kind of special that can scale up with speed and there isn't really any kind of other weapon other than

This which can use their speed productively. She counted rally up attack claws

this is already present on a philia and this is a really good skill for ether raids on defense teams for AI manipulation and

Also in arena for having really highest be cost and she's got the standard saw Sparrow which is present on so many units

It's really nice on a player phase unit

Like her and intact paint is not really the best Lobby skill on a frail unit like her

Because she has got really low bow. She really really needs that desperation

to have more longevity to basically function in more than just one combat and finally she's got dagger Valor which

Halloween Sakura also had Elise is just a cadaver unit

She's normally all that meta

Influential like most of the units from this banner and she does have a really nice weapon in red hot dogs

speaking of that weapon if you get multiple copies of her it's a

Fantastic weapon to give to a lot of dagger units who have got low attack, but really nice speed

Legault is the best user effete pretty much having the highest base speed

for a dagger a net and you can also run this on someone like

Kasi who has got good speed but doesn't really have the highest attack

And as I mentioned before with Honoka is built this weapon can be really nice with an AoE

Special on a unit like her who has got pretty good base attack of 35

Let's turn up the heat

Her first build is a budget build and she desperately needs desperation to survive because of her free illness and

you just have to run that and have mundo as our special her second build uses fury desperation and a prison seal and

at least doesn't really have many options for her builds because the first

Outline and her frailness and read out ducks is such a good weapon already that in my opinion and snarling worth

Replacing it

But something else maybe barbed shuriken if you've gotten - PETA leaves

But even then on a horse in mum team he can still work out a - Pete Ivey Elise

The water is nice

Reowww my zealand's flyer this time around and he has got a pretty nice offensive spread of

3536 which is one more speed point than Cordelia who's still really good and he also has decent physical Bob with 28 defense and 40

HP he comes with a new weapon which gives you minus 2 special cooldown at start of turn one

which has got a lot of applications and ether raids as you guys will see and

He's got Luna which becomes a 1 turn hoot on special at starved turn one his slaughtered skill as a tag defend solo

Which is nice on a flying unit and shield speed is really good with her speed and can also provide support to his teammates

finally

He's got aa defense wave which is nice with his workable 28 defense and the fact that he has got a tag defense solo

So he could actually have 40 defense with these two skills, which is actually amazing

Overall Rio ma is a good unit

But the problem is that he's really unimpressive because of the fact that he has got so much competition

from Land's flyers in the 3 star enforcer pool

And he only has one more speed point than Cordelia a launching at so a lot of people have already invested into Cordelia

And it's much easier to have merges and IVs on 3

Sir for sir Lance flyers and just build him up over the time

So even though on his own he is a good unit

But still he's the most unimpressive unit on this banner because of the competition he faces

So it really isn't all that worth pulling him from this banner

He could definitely fight him off for his weapon

And it's definitely more geared towards ether raids

so you could have someone like this effie have this weapon and quickened pulse and you will have Ignace at 1 turn cooldown and you

Can instantly retaliate back with Ignis?

Which is not a lot of Units can survive coming from this kind of Effie and she has got weary fighters

So you cannot really double her

so unless you get some kind of passive damage on her with the pain + or you just carry something like sling hammer or makea

- just one shot her. It's gonna be really hard to get around this kind of Effie

especially if you've got something like healing tower built up so you could definitely have something like this in your defense team you could also

use this with

Miracle and shield pulse and you can just run this bill to have a miracle charged up at

First turn and this can be really annoying to your opponent and you could use wings of mercy

Shenanigans with a unit like this we can have miracle ready

You could definitely use Salif with this your f---ing refined if you want to use a Lancia net

Along with Salif then yeah, this can definitely be done but super expensive

Attack/defense Ola is another rare skill

Which he has got and he could have this on let's ring ephraim or wall hard

Because of how their weapons function you could have this on a healer as well, especially Calvary healer

And this can be really nice because it essentially gives them deadblow and defense is not gonna be all that useful

But still it's pretty much used for that attack

even without my blade

His first build is a budget building can runs P plus 3 as a secret seal and have repositioned

There's really not much to be done and the second build uses fire Street blance, which is one of his best weapons

YouTube has offensive spread and he already comes with chilled speed which is

Fantastic with a fiery weapon and you could run

have you played trigger mundo in every round if he doubled and

You could also run gale-force

If you want to this third build uses playing land skill first and have you played?

Triggering gale force in a single round and this can be released full in ether raids

And you could run something like I skip route actually over desperation

specifically for ether raids his fourth build uses harmonic lands and because of the speed stat

He's a pretty good user of that with moon bow, and you could run darting blow sacred seal

Which is gonna be in next tempest trial from the data mine that was posted on reddit

As you can see so he can get +6 to attack defense and speed

With the solo skill and darting blow which is really powerful and his final build is actually a more

Utility bill because he has got shield speed by default

You could just combine that with New York Leghorn swagga surplus and have double chill utility and also provide the guidance support

Normally is best or the most powerful build

But still it's an option

You could run on him and overall this banner is definitely one of the most capable

Banners because of the fact that we've already got units in the game

Who could do rolls of these units and these units are not really meta

Influential which is actually good once a while because not every unit needs to be some kind of broken

Power creep meta influential monster like searcher, so that's completely fine

And we're also gonna be having mythic hero banner at the end of this month

You could definitely save your arts for that and this lasts for a month and we're gonna be having Valentine's banner

Which could definitely be something you should watch out for and Lee Scout before we summon on this banner

unless you really really like these units in my opinion the best unit out of this banner is definitely Sakura because of the fact that

She's a flying healer. And after that I'll probably say Anoka only because of splashy bucket

+ Elise is also decent as a red dagger cavalier and brings red-hot dodge to the table

which is fantastic on many of the

Darian to have God high speed but low attack and Ryoma. As I said is the most unimpressive unit on this banner

Asthma as I like him, unfortunately because of the sheer amount of competition he faces from the other lamps Flyers and three

Sir enforcer pool, so that is gonna be it for this review

I hope you guys enjoyed. If you did then please be sure to leave a like and share this video with your friends

Who are trying to build up these units or are thinking of something on this banner?

And if you haven't already then make sure to subscribe for more farm. Um

Here's content, and without being said I'll see you guys next time. Thank you so much for watching and have a great day
