So this is version 0.5.1prealpha

of Fech The Ferret

Which, as you like already guess from the title

is the new public game of the game

So... I'm a tad late

this demo was initially supposed to be a

fixed version of the one I made for HedgeCamp

back in November

But, well, mostly due to school reasons

I had to delay it quite a bit

So what's new since 0.5?

which, by the way,

I never really got the time to probably show here on YouTube

except for that video about HedgeCamp's stream

In this latest pre-alpha I solved most of those

dumb bugs and oversights that nearly made

0.5 unplayable for some

Like the auto camera being turned off by default

(Something that can't be done anymore, by the way)

or the transition from level dream00 to dream01 being extremely unreliable

In 0.5.1 I've also added some new stuff

like a bigger and greatly improved level design for dream00

a new less awkward looking walk on all fours animation

don't worry I'll eventually redo most of animation from scratch

and a brand new track for dream00

it's definitely different from most of my tracks,

but I'm quite satisfied with what I pulled off so far

Before closing this summary of this new version

I unfortunately have to say that's not bug free

- not by a long shot -

Sum the fact that I wanted to release it before the end of 2018

to some unreasonable Unity bugs,

like, level loading being not as stable as it should be

or post-processing transitions not working outside of Unity's editor

which resulted in a clearly worse looking second level

at the right you can see as it looks like

while I'm working on it

and how it looks like in the demo.

So you get the point the result is an overall pretty rough demo

I'll hopefully try to address these issues

in the next demo

which is scheduled for the beginning of February.

Splash ~ Public art at the Lenexa Rec Center - Duration: 2:46.

My name is Shan Shan Sheng

This piece behind me

Newly finished

Installation I call the "Splash"

"Splash is inspired by the water

of this recreation center.

Each piece of public art

I tailored to the space.

Example is this is site-specific.

I came before I made the proposal

and piece so I have an idea

then we go home then we made the model

The shape is representation of a water drop

And, when water drops,

they have different shapes if you look.

You splash the water.

That's the inspiration.

The cool casting glass has the look of real glass.

but much lighter

lighter weight.

So, and also it's break-resistant.

The hanging mechanism is a stainless steel cable.

It goes through the grinder

It's a little challenge because the floor is uneven.

So, we have to use different lifts

and this summer only single men will overcome all the difficulties.

This is very successful. We take shorter time than we expected

This piece is kind of

splashing in action

and has all different colors

which represent diversity

So they are moving slightly to make this

space active.

and more people have more happiness

when they see it, they are happy and it's lifting their spirits.
