News on Youtube Jan 5 2019

so this month I have spent...

I am going to a supermarket called "La Comer" now.

It's only 30 minutes walk from downtown. But the girl told me that I

have to walk under the tunnel. So I'm like no way. The other way will be

taking a bus but buses here got no number and my Spanish is not good enough

to talk to the driver of where I want to go. So I go with the third option which is a

taxi. So let's go!

Alright! I found it!

Alright, I'm back! It was a very big supermarket something

like Walmart. It got fresh vegetables, meat, cheese, toys, stationeries,

electrical appliances what else... stationaries, personal care, underwear.

Basically everything, huge supermarket. Okay let's see what I have in here.

A bottle of olive oil 250 ml

A bag of spinach

Mushroom

Minced beef

chicken thigh

two bell pepper

My favorite chamomile tea just I can live without it.

So important!

Some herbs. I wanna...I try to find some rosemary but I'm not able to find it, so only this one.

Some very unhealthy macaroni & cheese. I think this is a

microwave version.

I got rice.

I got zipper bag. So when I make the

pasta sauce, I can make a lot of them and I freeze them.

Twelve eggs basically I just need the box so that I can get eggs from the

supermarket next to me. Everytime I got eggs from the small supermarket, I can

only buy two pieces four pieces because they will only put them into a bag.

I got this cotton pad .

Q-tip

four pack of tissue paper

because I don't use them tissue paper from from the public toilet

so I'll bring mine.

one thing, what's that?

Revlon lipstick.

The reason why I got there's us because I

found that I got no color on my face. The lipstick I am using now is just too

natural and just doesn't look too good on camera so I bought this lipstick

to beautify myself. But the problem is I'm not able to try it. They don't have any

tests at all. So I just guess I hope that it's good.

I also bought some other things previously so let me show you guys as well

This place is arranged by the school. The house has four bedrooms, each of them has

an individual bathroom. I am living in one of the bedrooms in here. My room has

a double bed, a closet, a dresser, a TV, a very big storage space and I can get a

lot of sunlight during the day in here which is fantastic. My room is very clean

and very spacious, very comfortable. For the shared area, we have kitchen,

a rooftop terrace and a game room. There's also a washer and a dryer in this house

as well. I am paying 375 dollars per month which includes electricity, gas and

Wi-Fi. I don't know if it's called expensive or not because the location is very

close to downtown and very close to my school. So it is quite convenient. And Mr.

and Mrs. landlord, they're very nice people.

Whenever I need something I can just text them and they will just reply me

right away. And Mrs. landlord will come to clean the house around twice a week and

so I'm able to talk to them, communicate with them. I think that's the point of

living in a local place instead of a hotel or a hostel right?

How about homestay homestay?

Homestay is around $25 per day. If you ask them to cook for you it will be around $2 per meal.

It will be a good idea if you only stay here for a short period of time and

you don't want to cook at all

At this moment I have been staying here for

four weeks now the super lucky part was like two weeks ago

I have written down all my expenses since the first day I came so I'm able to share with you guys now.

First part is the food I separated into eating out and groceries and for

eating out I spent $245 in just four weeks

for the first ten days I didn't cook at all. I try nice restaurants in here.

So I spent around $120 on that ten days and then for the recent two weeks I

cook lunch or dinner or lunch and dinner. If I go out, I will go for

street food or a mid-range restaurant. For groceries, I spend $75 for this month.

After I went to the La Comer supermarket, I also found another local supermarket

close to downtown. It's a reasonable supermarket but just they don't have

international food. And I found that food there is a little bit cheaper so those

$75 is only for two weeks is not for four weeks. The third part is

transportation. It is $75. $34 is from my airport pickup which I paid to my

landlord. The price is reasonable because I have checked with uber so that they

charge more or less the same. And Airport is in Leon, which is a little bit from far from here.

Other than that is I joined the school to go to somewhere in San Miguel

which cost me 550 peso. Besides that taxi in here is

very reasonable. It's like...they don't use a meter but every

time it's around 50 peso per ride. And I find that taxi driver here is very honest.

They will not try to ask for double or triple of the price and like

mostly, they will asked for 40 to 50 peso per ride. And then tour and

admission which is $61. It goes to like the funicular or like the museum like

everything else and I also join the food tour. Another one is personal care $34.

It's include toothpaste, body lotions like all those stuff. I separated

from the groceries because I sometimes I spend much more money on that or

sometimes I don't spend any money on that. So I want to keep track how much I spent.

And then cellphone I'm paying

150 peso which is $7 per 28 days. It's a top-up card.

Miscellaneous $50. It's lots of money on miscellaneous but why because I went for massage it cost

me 650 peso per hour and it was a very nice massage. I think what pay for is a

mid-range because Mrs. landlord told me that she can also do massage but it will

be in her house. She charged like half price. I also see that there's a

hotel in downtown. They are charging another 50% which is almost like

1000 peso for an hour. So this month, I have spent $547

I didn't have a very strict budget but I was expecting I

only need about $400. Now it's slightly over. I hope I can

improve for the coming month which is

For tuition, I will do a separate video which will be included in my one month

Spanish learning review.

By the end of this video I'm going to show you the

firework last night

How Does Social Security Disability Back Pay Work? - Duration: 3:59.

♪ (music) ♪

I'm attorney Corey Luedeman

with RSH Legal.

If you're seeking Social Security

Disability benefits, you probably

know that there is a delay in

processing Social Security claims.

Whether you are approved right away

for disability payments or need to go

through the appeals process,

it takes a while to be determined disabled

by the Social Security Administration.

This likely means that the SSA owes you

some back pay because of this delay

in being ruled disabled.

How much you receive in back pay

depends on when you filed your application

and when you became disabled.

It's calculated differently for Social

Security Disability Insurance benefits,

SSDI, and Supplemental Security

Income benefits, SSI.

If you are eligible for SSDI benefits,

the period of your back pay will

depend on two things.

First, the date you became disabled,

and two, the date you submitted your

application for benefits.

The date you became disabled is

important because you can receive

disability benefits starting in the sixth

month after you became disabled.

That means for the first 5 months,

you cannot receive any disability

benefits through the SSDI program.

Even if you apply immediately after

you are disabled and are approved

quickly, you will only begin to receive

monthly benefits starting the 6th month

after you became disabled, no matter

what you have for illnesses.

The date you apply for benefits is also

important because you can receive

SSDI back pay for up to one year

before your application date.

Here are an example - or some examples.

One, if you are disabled on January 1, 2018

and you apply for benefits on January

1, 2019, you will get back payments

starting the sixth month after you are

disabled, or from June 1 of 2018.

If you're disabled on January 1, 2018,

and you apply for benefits on January 1

of 2021, you'll get back payments starting

one year prior - from January 1, 2020.

As you can see, you can lose out on back

pay if you don't apply for SSDI

as soon as possible.

Calculating back pay is less complicated

if you are eligible for SSI benefits.

If you are ruled disabled and

eligible for SSI, then your back pay can

go back to the first of the month after

you submitted your application.

So if you are disabled on January 1, 2018

and you apply for benefits on January 1,

2021, you will get back payments

starting only from January 1, 2021.

If you've been approved for disability

and are owed back pay, the SSA will

usually provide this back pay in

one lump sum if it's SSDI, and

they deposit it directly into your

bank account.

If the back pay amount of SSI is more

than 3 times what the current maximum

monthly SSI amount would be,

the SSA will want to pay you in

3 installments - two equal payments

and then one payment of the final

amount owed.

If you need a large amount of money

right away, for instance to pay your

house payment or your car, talk to

a Social Security Disability attorney

to see if your installments can be

adjusted or the whole amount can

be paid out.

As you can see, back payment calculation

can be a complicated process.

An experienced disability lawyer will be

able to help you calculate how much

you are owed from the SSA.

If you have denied disability benefits,

we can help.

How Much Does It Take to Reach Financial Freedom? - Duration: 6:00.

How much does it take to reach financial freedom?

Out of all the videos I've made, I reckon this title should be the most attractive to

look at.

However, when many people face the goal of financial freedom, there is an idea in the

subconscious: "This goal looks good, but I have no hope in my life."

When facing a goal, no matter how impractical it is, the first step before completing it

is to define it clearly.

The goal of financial freedom is too general, and different people may have different understandings.

It is estimated that most people have not thought of this seriously.

Even if it's really asked, it's basically a really big number.

And to specifically find a way to estimate it, the obtained value may be more practical

and more clear.

This is the first step towards completing it.

Define criteria Financial freedom can be roughly defined as

the state of not having to work for the sake of living expenses.

You can think it as an institution or individual that is very nice to you and is also very

reliable, sending you money at a fixed time each month, with an amount sufficient for

your expenses every month.

This is basically the state of financial freedom.

There is a special term for these: passive income.

That is, you don't need to work to earn that income.

You usually will put the money in the bank and earn passive income from the interests,

but that is generally not enough.

If the annual passive income exceeds the annual living expenses, then that is financial freedom.

Now the definition is clear, now look at the standard.

The cost of living differs for everyone, and the cost of living will be different when

you have more money and when you have less money.

Although everyone is different, it can be simply divided into three levels:

Meet essential expenses for basic living, such as clothing and shelter.

Meet the current quality of life requirements of the expenses, live however you want.

Meet your dream expenses, travel around the world, mansion, and yachts.

Estimated annual expenditure For different standards of financial freedom,

a year's spending is naturally different.

But it can still be estimated more accurately.

For the first level of the estimation, we only need to check the previous year's basic

necessities' bill.

Exclude all the unnecessary expenses.

In this way, it is estimated that a year will not cost much money.

Like $100,000 a year.

The second level of estimation is simpler, and if you spend most of your expenses with

mobile payment, you will able to see your total bill for a year from the payment app,

which has almost a relatively accurate value.

Like $200,000 a year.

You will need to do a survey for the third level of estimation.

Based on your own specific dreams, verify the price of each individual, and finally,

add up to estimate a value.

Like 1 million every year.

Of course, if you want to buy a private jet, or buy a big asset like a holiday island,

you don't have to calculate the price of buying it.

And it only takes to calculate the price of a life that enjoys this quality over the year.

For example, renting a private jet plus the money spent by the entire service team for

two weeks is still very different from buying it, the former is much cheaper.

For your dream life, it is important to enjoy this quality of life services, rather than

owning the asset.

Evaluate the speed of asset appreciation The way the average person gains passive income

is by investing.

And investment has an indicator that easy to refer to which is the annual rate of return.

No matter what type of investment you choose, you need to review your investment data from

previous years and not overestimate your investment and financial skills.

After a careful assessment, you will get an annual rate of return on investment, such

as 5%.

At this point, the values needed to do the final calculation have been estimated, and

all you have to do is a primary school math problem:

Total money needed for financial freedom = annual expenditure / annual rate of return on investment

If you only ask for the first level of financial freedom, by bringing in the above value, you

will need: $100,000 / 5% = 2 million

If you want the third level of financial freedom, by bringing in the above value, you will need:

$1 million / 5% = 20 million Of course, the above calculation is just an

example.

You might have a bigger dream, and you might want 10 million a year, you may also want

to be able to invest comparable to Buffett, the annual return on investment rate of stable

reached 20%.

It doesn't matter, bring in the formula to figure out how much it will cost to complete

your financial freedom goal.

After figuring out the target amount, no matter how far away it is from it now, you can at

least see it.

All that remains to be done is to make a plan and find a way to achieve it as soon as possible.

It's the end of the video already, what are you still doing here?

Hurry up and start making money!

How Much does a Cosmetic Dentist Charge? Dr. John Barrras DDS LVIF - Duration: 3:46.

- Hi, this is John Barras,

cosmetic dentist in Houston, Texas.

I recently got an online question from Ryan

regarding cosmetic dentistry, smile makeovers.

And Ryan was wanting to know how dentists charge

or what they charge for cosmetic dentistry.

And that's a good question, and it's very commonly asked.

So one of the things that you really need to look at

is if you just simply go look in the mirror

and see; if you're wanting a cosmetic makeover,

we're usually looking at the teeth

that you can visibly see in the mirror.

So, it's common that a lot of people show eight to ten teeth

on the top and may not show any teeth on the bottom.

And then you've got some people that smile

and you can see every tooth that they have.

It may be 24 teeth that they're showing.

So that is a range, so obviously the cost

is gonna go up for a smile makeover

if you show all your teeth in your mouth.

So that's one thing to look at.

Obviously if it's a single tooth like an implant crown

or a single veneer that broke,

that's a little bit different.

But you get the idea that it's based on the number of teeth.

There's also another thing that goes into cosmetic dentistry

and smile makeovers and costs is the dentist's training.

How much training do they have?

Is that the only thing that they do,

is cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers?

You might wanna ask your dentist how many cases they do.

Is that all that they do?

Or where did they get their training from?

Do they have any training in that?

Another factor that's also involved

is what laboratory that the dentist uses.

You have all ranges of laboratories; you have really cheap,

inexpensive laboratories

and then you've got really high-end laboratories

that really kinda specialize in cosmetics

and bite and function and things like that.

So you could have a brand-new, startup laboratory

that is real cheap and you could

have an experienced laboratory that has master ceramists

that's been there for four years that does only high end.

So that cost is gonna get passed on to the dentist

so the dentist has to obviously charge more

if he's gonna get charged more for doing the veneers

and the lab work.

So it's real important that you ask those questions

and really look at how you're gonna make your choices.

So if aesthetics are really, really a big concern,

you might wanna spend a little bit more

to get exactly what you want.

We do see patients that come in quite a bit

that may have gotten it done cheaper

that end up spending money long-term

doing it multiple times.

So when you're checking out your cosmetics

and things like that, that's really

what you need to look at.

Ranges for per tooth could be into the upper hundreds,

I've heard seven, $800 per tooth and then it could be

into the $2000s per tooth,

so that's a range that's probably pretty common.

So sometimes you get what you pay for.

So just ask questions to your dentists

and ask about their lab when deciding your cosmetics.
