measurement divide it by four and add one inch mark that point and then mark out

like I'm doing to the side go down around one inch now go up at the

neckline one inch higher for the back neckline and then join with a curve. then

Anna Jones' Simple Suppers | One-Pan Genovese-Style Pasta Recipe | Food Honestly | The Pool - Duration: 2:30.

Hi, I'm Anna Jones, and this is the first of my series of Simple Suppers for The

Pool. My April recipe is a one-pan Genovese pasta. So, the sauce, the pasta,

everything is done in the pan. There's asparagus, new potatoes, basil, all

those fresh, lovely spring flavours.

So, first find a shallow pan with a lid,

put it on your hob, and put the pasta in. Snap the woody bottoms off your

asparagus, cut the stems of the asparagus into little 1/2 centimetre coins,

keeping the tips intact. Keep the tips to one side for later and throw the coins

into the pan with the pasta. Finely slice the cooked potatoes and add them

to the pan. Peel and finely slice your garlic, and add this to the pan along

with the green beans. Use a fine grater to grate the zest of both lemons into

the pan, and add a teaspoon of sea salt and 100mls of olive oil. Next, add

a litre of boiling water from the kettle, put the lid onto your pan, turn the heat

on to maximum and bring it to the boil. As soon as it comes to the boil, remove

the lid and simmer on a high heat for 8 minutes, turning the pasta with a pair of

tongs every 30 seconds or so. Once the pastas had eight minutes, stir

through the asparagus tips and tear over the basil. Simmer everything for a final

two minutes. Once almost all the water has evaporated, take the pan off the heat

and leave it to sit for a few minutes so that the pasta can absorb the last bit

of the water and form a lovely, creamy, lemony sauce. Twirl the pasta into four

bowls and top with a final grating of parmesan.

I hope you enjoyed this recipe. For more videos from The Pool, please just

Simple DIY Epsom Salt and Essential Oil Bath Soak + Shocking Health Benefits! - Duration: 6:15.

Welcome back everybody!

Today's video is going to be super fun because it's a DIY and who doesn't like DIY's?!

So today we are making this super simple epsom salt, essential oil DIY and it's awesome because

we are saving money in the process by using up those precious last few drops of essential

oils in our empty essential oil bottles.

Plus we are going to be reaping some awesome benefits from epsom salts and the essential

oils.

It's going to be so much fun!

Let's hop right in!

In this video we are also going to be talking about the health benefits of epsom salts so

you might want to stick around for that as well.

So what are you going to need for this super simple DIY?

You are going to need a glass jar, epsom salts obviously, clay which is optional, baking

soda which is optional, and some empty essential oil bottles.

This is so ridiculously easy, I almost feel silly making a tutorial for it, but I was

super excited when I saw this DIY so I wanted to share it with you guys too!

I figured someone out there has to be as weird as me.

So all you have to do is pour in your epsom salts into your jar about half way.

Then add some empty essential oil bottles along with their caps and their droppers.

So before you put your bottles in you want to take off the caps and the droppers and

just throw them all in there.

Then fill the rest up with salt.

Put a few more empty essential oil bottles into the top of the salts and then let it

sit for a few days so that it can absorb all of those amazing essential oils.

Then just add a couple handful's into your bathwater.

It's just so relaxing and amazing because you have this unique essential oil smell because

you have all of your empty essential oils in there and it just makes such a unique,

beautiful scent.

It's just so much fun plus you are getting all of those drops of essential oils out of

there.

It's just so cool!

I don't know why I love it so much, but I do!

So if you want to make this super amazing and detoxing you can add some clay or baking

soda to add some extra detoxing and skin softening goodness if you want to add that.

So what exactly is the health benefits of adding epsom salts to your bath water?

First we need to understand what epsom salt is.

The chemical formula for epsom salt is MgSO4.

This means that it is made up of magnesium, sulfur, and oxygen.

Using epsom salts can help your body absorb these necessary components!

Unfortunately, millions of Americans suffer from magnesium deficiency.

Dr. Axe in his article 9 Signs of Magnesium Deficiency quotes Norman Shealy.

"Every known illness is associated with a magnesium deficiency and it's the missing

cure to many diseases."

Also consider this fact from Dr. Axe: "More than 325 enzymes in our bodies require magnesium

to properly function.

Magnesium stimulates nerve and muscle function, limits inflammation, and improves oxygenation

and blood flow through the body."

Magnesium is obviously very important for the health of our bodies!

Dr. Axe also states some signs of magnesium deficiency including: leg cramps, insomnia,

fibromyalgia, anxiety, high blood pressure, fatigue, headaches, and more!

Ain't no body got time for that….

See what I did there?

Ain't...

no...

BODY!

Funny right?

I know.

He also states in another article that "Magnesium deficiencies contribute to today's high

rates of heart disease, stroke, arthritis, osteoporosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, digestive

disorders as well as mental illness.

By boosting your internal magnesium levels through external use of Epsom salt, you can

help improve or ward off many avoidable health ailments."

Not only is magnesium helpful for the body, but by taking epsom salt baths, you are also

detoxing!

In an article by Dr. David Jockers on the TruthAboutCancer.com explains the the pores

we sweat through to remove toxins from the body, also pulls the Epsom salt in.

"Recall the process of reverse osmosis to understand the process which moves toxins

out of the body and pulls magnesium and sulfate inward.

When you soak in bathwater containing epsom salts, reverse osmosis occurs to help cleanse

your body."

By taking epsom salt baths or foot soaks, your body is able to absorb that magnesium!

This can help improve the ailments we talked about earlier, eliminate toxins from your

body, and also help reduce pain and inflammation in your body as well.

I also want to add here that you want to make sure you are buying epsom salts that don't

have any nasty chemicals added into it because now and days I see epsom salts on the shelves

all the time and their loaded with fragrances and stuff that you don't want!

If you are wanting to get epsom salts, make sure you get some that don't have anything

added into it, that its just epsom salt and then you can add essential oils into it to

make it smell really nice.

Then the essential oil is also benefiting your body, unlike fragrances that don't benefit

your body at all and that actually help you feel sicker so you don't want that!

In experience with my own health issues, epsom salt baths really helped me.

I used to wake up in the middle of the night with a lot of muscle pains and specifically

in my legs to the point where I couldn't sleep.

So one of the things that I did often was waking up to take epsom salt baths.

So if it was 2 in the morning and I couldn't sleep because of the pain that I was having,

I would take an epsom salt bath and then after that I would be able to fall asleep and it

really helped a lot so I really recommend it!

I hope you tried this super simple DIY the next time you have some empty essential oil

bottles laying around.

It's super inexpensive and it benefits your body in so many ways!

Simple leg lock series - Duration: 6:11.

What's going to happen is I'm going to trap this

Gonna fall back on it

This foot is going to come right here, and this foot is going to block the hip

This is keeping him from coming all the way into me

And this one is here

Toes to the floor so he can't jump over

The first thing we are going to attack is the straight ankle lock

What I'm going to do here is

Press on that shin. Come back here.

And then

Grab my own wrist here

Pinch your legs

Come off the elbow

Everything is going to go to the floor here

Here then

Here like a kimura grip

Foot on the hip

This one on top of the heel to lock him in

Pinch

Everything right to the floor

Guard break

Just going to fall back on it

This foot is going to come up

This foot is going to come here

Pressure on the leg here is what they call loading the pressure

Then here. It's already tight

Then I want to collapse on my elbows

There we go

That's it

A lot of you are having trouble here

One thing is, make sure you get all the way back

On that ankle

This little bony part

Right under the heel

So if you can't get here, and get it

What you can also do is

Take that guillotine grip

Go to third base on yourself. Give yourself a little squeeze

Then hip into it that way just like a guillotine

What he can do here is what I call a weak boot

So now what I'm going to do here is go for the heel hook

So now I'm going to collapse

Get my butt up

This exposes the heel

I'm getting my wrist right in the heel here

Now this is where we gotta be careful

We're here, lift up, and now we crunch

And hip into his knee

We're here trying to get it [the ankle lock], he puts on his boot

Oh no! Oh no!

Ankle

Hip in

So you're crunching in

Then just twisting, and hipping in at the same time

So basically what you're trying to do is hold his knee steady

You want his knee to be still and then what we're doing is taking

that heel and twisting it at the knee

So with the strong boot

There's a few things we can do here depending on what he's giving you

Sometimes what I will do here is

Now I'm going to grab for this leg here

I'm gonna drop

Kick

Come here

Now

I have this [heel hook] here

Same deal. Pinch

Lean back

So I'm going to fall back

Once again...carefully

That's all it is

He's got on a boot

He's not letting me do anything here

Grab the foot here

Kick to make the space and swing this leg through

Lock that down

Then go straight to this

Heel

Alright we break [the guard], and fall back

Right here

There's gonna come a point

Where you roll with a guy and he's not gonna let you do this

He feels you reach for this and he's going to kick that away

So now what we do

Take the turn

I come here

I want to bring this knee as close as I can to the floor

It's 50/50 basically but my

Knee is to the floor I have more options than he does

Same deal

Reach back

Now this

Wing

Wing

Right over the toes

Expose that heel and grip

We're here

I reach and he says no

Turn [you hips]

Figure four

Wing and finish

Going to grab

He says no

Leaving this

Open space here. I'm going to turn

Figure four

My feet are hidden

My knees cleared his hip line

So even if he tried something

It's not going to do anything

Simple Ideas for Adjusting Patient Education Based on Patient Needs - Duration: 1:50.

Hi.

I'm Lori Boyer, and welcome to SolutionTeach: Patient Education.

Today we're talking about the importance of targeting your education to individual

patients.

Listen to this true story for a minute, and don't worry, the names have been changed!

A woman named Jill went to the doctor.

The nurse noticed that she was taking birth control, and asked her a little bit about

when she takes them.

Jill responded that some days she takes three pills and some days she doesn't take any.

The nurse, a little confused at this point, asked Jill how the doctor had told her to

take them.

Jill explained, "Well, he said the pills were to keep me from getting pregnant

when I have sex, so I take them anytime I have sex."

You can see the problem.

Part of the issue here was that Jill only read at a 2nd grade level, and she's not

alone.

Did you know that more than 50% of US adults have literacy problems?

To help patients who don't have the best reading skills, it's a great idea to have

visual aids or hands-on activities available for instruction, and not just pamphlets.

It's important that you keep in mind the physical, mental or emotional challenges of

each specific patient as well as their age, cultural beliefs, and their experience with

the healthcare world.

Each of these elements may change the way you educate that patient.

If you want some other tips on how to improve your communication with your patients, check

out the link in the description.

And don't forget to join us next time as we are going to be discussing ways to find

out what your patients already know.

SIMPLE How-to Fold an Origami Crane - Duration: 7:51.

now before we get started, we invite you to make and enjoy a cup of matcha while

you make your origami crane. It's very relaxing and a meditative sort of

activity. To make an origami crane, you want to start with a square piece of

origami paper. Start by taking the color side up and folding the bottom corner to

the top corner and make sure to use your finger and get a sharp crease. Next,

you're going to turn the paper and again take the bottom corner and take it all the

way to the top corner and get a sharp crease. At this point you're going

to have two folds in the paper.

Next, turn the paper over so you have the white side up. Now you are going to take

the two bottom corners and fold the paper in half. up to the two to the top corners and

line them up perfectly. Get a sharp crease. Next, you're going to turn

the paper and you're going to do the same thing take the two bottom corners

and fold the paper in half, make sure to line the the bottom corners to the top

corners perfectl,y and get a sharp crease. Now with the color side down you're

going to fold all four corners up to the top to meet. It's important that the

color side of the paper is facing down on the counter and that the white (solid) side is up.

This is how you fold it. Bring all four corners and make sure they line up

perfectly. Then fold it in half once you get the corners to line up then make

sure to fold down the center and then up the sides so that you have a nice crease.

Now, when you look at the paper one of the tips is going to be open like this,

and then the other one is going to be closed so you want to make sure that the

open part is facing toward you when you continue to do the folding. You'll see

you have four flaps and then the open bottom and the closed top. Make sure

again with the the part that is open is facing you facing down. The next fold is

called a kite fold, you're going to take just one of the flaps and fold it in to

the center, but you want to leave a tiny gap. You don't want to fold it all the

way to that center line, you want to leave just a little bit of space right

here, and then do it again on the other side. Again leaving a tiny bit of space

so they the two flaps should not meet in the middle.

Make sure to get a nice sharp fold on both sides. Now just to repeat that again

with the open side down you do two kite folds with two of the flaps and just

make sure to leave a tiny bit of space in the middle. Then next you're going

to take the top triangle and fold it down over those two kite folds. Now you

have your two kite folds and then you take the top and fold that down on top

and get a nice sharp fold. Now when you're ready you're going to turn it

over to the other side without any folds and do two more kite folds again leaving

a tiny gap in between the two kite folds.

Once you have a nice sharp fold you're going to open them back up and then

you're going to take the top piece of paper so separate them at the bottom and

then you're going to open the whole thing up and take it to the top. Then

push in these creases and push the paper to meet in the middle.

Now fold it down and then you're going to turn it over turn the whole thing

over again. Open up that triangle and then open up the two other kite folds, and again

take the top piece of paper and pull it up to the top and fold in together on

top of each other with the color side out right down the middle. Now when you

pick it up you'll see that you have the two legs that move and then the top is

all connected. You want to keep the open part the two legs facing down (toward your body).

Put it back down and you're going to do two more kite folds. You're going to take

the flap and fold it to the center, and do the same thing on the other side. Do

another kite fold get everything lined up, get a nice sharp fold. Now again I'm just

going to show you by opening this up again and showing you're just doing two

more kite folds, get a nice sharp fold with the one flap, not both just the one.

Again on the other side and then when you're ready you're gonna flip the

entire thing over keeping the open part of the legs facing down and do the same

thing again on the other side. Two more kite folds. Now once you get them all

lined up, its really important to line them up, and get a nice sharp fold. You are going

do the other side. Now you've just done four kite folds in total, and you'll

have the two legs and the top part will still be closed.

Next you're gonna fold the two legs up and get a nice crease. You want a

sharp crease on these and then you're gonna take them back down after you've

got the crease, and hen t you're going to open up the side. You'll see that the

crease you just made is right there and you're gonna reverse fold up that leg.

You want to fold that leg up into the fold that you have above and then do the

same thing on the other side. You're gonna just pull up the leg and reverse

fold it and then fold it all together getting a nice fold all together.

It should look like that. Replay: Let me just take it out again and show you again you

have the legs open up that flap and you fold it up together this is called a

reverse fold on both sides. Now you're left with this will be your head, so you

can pull it down however you like and then you can just do a nice fold for the

head. Right here or anywhere is fine. Then you can pull out the tail and then

these are your wings you just fold down your wings. Now

the other side and that is it that. That is the origami crane. Good Job!
