Hello Guy's And Wellcome To My Channel GamesTalk.

In This Video We Are Going To Talk About Vampire Review: An Ambitious Game That Tries Too Hard.

Dontnod Entertainment has a reputation as a gaming development studio that tries to

think outside the box, both with storytelling and gameplay.

In 2015's Life Is Strange, the studio created a beautiful title that featured time travel

mechanics, as well as characters and a story that resonated with players on an emotional

level.

Now the studio has released Vampear, but can the gothic vampire title live up to the same

kind of hype?

The answer is yes and no.

Vampyr puts players in the shoes of Dr. Jonathan Reid.

The game opens with the good doctor waking up in 1918 to a post-war world of black and

white, with only small dots of red to show him where life exists.

This life, though, is blood, and the doctor soon realizes that blood is the thing he now

craves: he has become a vampire.

The doctor now needs blood to survive a world that has gone upside down, thanks to Spanish

flu epidemic and the aftermath of the first world war.

The doctor soon takes his first victim, which brings the world back to vivid color, although

that color is muted because the sunlight can never touch his skin again.

As Dr. Reid stumbles through London, he soon learns more about what he has become, especially

after he takes on a job at a downtrodden hospital in an area near London's destitute Whitechapel.

There, Dr. Reid must decide the fates of every citizen that comes across his path: will they

live or die based on his thirst for blood?

Meanwhile, there are vampire hunters roaming the streets.

Fighting them means requiring strength, a strength that only comes from blood.

And the only way to get that blood is by drinking the blood of mortals and killing them.

This is the dilemma posed in vampire: although the doctor must work to heal the citizens

of the city of London, he must also choose which ones to feed on (if any) to survive.

It's an interesting premise, particularly with the RPG part of gameplay.

When the doctor is not checking the health of the various citizens of London, he's getting

to know them better, by asking questions through dialogue that lets him learn about their hopes

and fears.

He can also search the streets and buildings of the city to gain clues that unlock additional

dialogue choices, some of which helps him on each of his quests.

But exhausting all dialogue choices and unlocking all hints on a citizen does something else:

it makes that citizen more delectable, meaning that if the doctor chooses to "embrace" that

person, he gains more XP for doing so than he would if he did not know them.

XP is what allows the doctor to level up his vampiric abilities by choosing which skills

to unlock in what is a rather impressive and varied skill tree.

Players can focus on defensive skills, or they can choose to stay on the offensive.

There are also skills to regain health.

In combat, using these skills requires blood points.

Blood points are gained by drinking the blood of people and rats.

This is really where vampire excels.

Customizing Dr. Reid's abilities really allows players to choose how they want to handle

combat.

And the combat is easy to pick up, although much of it seems focused on dodging whenever

possible and landing blows between hits from the enemy.

It also helps that Dr. Reid has the ability to detect certain weaknesses in enemies, and

combat is varied enough to prove entertaining.

The problem, though, is that Vampire doesn't seem to know if it is an RPG or a fighting

game.

And because Dontnod wanted to focus on both, it means that it feels like the game tries

to do too much at any given time.

The RPG elements are fine, but the characters seem bland and uninteresting.

This is especially true of Dr. Reid himself, and one must wonder how a newborn vampire

could be so boring.

It's as if the doctor doesn't really even struggle emotionally with what he's become

(it is only alluded to), which means that the player really won't feel that connection

either.

The other characters almost feel like caricatures of 1900s London types and their stories don't

really make the player care about them either.

There are some inconsistencies in the way the story plays out: very few of the citizens

actually recognize Dr. Reid as a vampire.

For all intents and purposes, he looks and behaves just like a mortal.

And yet, there are vampire hunters roaming the streets (and they come across much more

as thugs than anything) who recognize him as a vampire every single time they see him.

And although the game plays up the consequences of killing citizens in the game, killing vampire

hunters has no effect on anything whatsoever.

There is also the concept of secret societies floating throughout the story, and it feels

like just one more added element that takes away from what's going on with Dr. Reid, as

well as the city's epidemic with Spanish flu.

It just often feels like there are too many plot points floating around the game at any

given time, especially when most of them really don't have much to do with the main story

and gameplay.

Gameplay is hard to describe as it is a combination of all of the above: RPG, adventure and hack-and-slash.

Dr. Reid must traverse the various zones of London and find citizens to talk to, some

who will have information that will help him proceed in achieving missions.

Beware, though: some dialogue choices will cause missions to fail, so think carefully

before making the choice of what Dr. Reid says next.

There is also some adventure-style elements where the player must hunt for supplies and

find little hidden pieces of information that will often open up new dialogue options with

characters.

The fighting element is third person: Dr. Reid can equip a weapon in each hand, unless

the player chooses a two-handed weapon.

Then the player can choose various attacks, either with weapons or abilities gained throughout

gameplay.

On the fighting side, there are also boss fights littered throughout the game that really

don't mean anything.

There is nothing that ever leads up to these fights, nor is there any real story-driven

reason for why they exist.

They are also, at times, frustratingly difficult, with enemies that are several levels above

Dr. Reid.

Players would probably appreciate such challenging fights if that combat actually added to what's

going on in the game, but the boss fights really just seem to exist because the developer

decided that the game needed to have them.

The game itself, though, looks good.

This is a gothic game about vampires, so it's obviously dark and gritty,.

Dontnod captured the dirty streets of 1900s London really well: you can almost smell the

disease and decay that infects it.

The characters are well-rendered and the voice acting is decent, although some of the accents

seem off.

Vampire, though, is an extremely ambitious game from an independent developer who strived

to do something different.

And in that, it succeeded: Vampire isn't really like any other title out there.

Sure, players won't make any emotional connections to the characters of this game like they did

with Life Is Strange.

There is also just too much going on for it to feel cohesive.

But the game itself, in its novelty, still often proves entertaining.

And who doesn't like stepping into the shoes of a creature of the night?

Colorback Liquid Mulch Colorant - REVIEW - Renew your mulch! - Duration: 5:24.

This is a review of colorback liquid mulch colorant. To mix things up I'm

doing this review in the beautiful state of Maine. This product is intended to

refresh mulch that's lost its vibrancy. Whether it's mid season and the mulch has

been sun bleached or washed out, this product provides an option to adding

more materials and volume to a bed that already has the recommended three inches

of mulch to keep the weeds down. The manufacturer claims this product ensures

the strength and longevity of mulch but I can't test that. It is environmentally

safe though, so safe around the home, children, and pets. The color back product

works well. I found a few limitations and things to consider, but overall I do like

it. And I apologize in advance for the dirt on my camera lens. Somehow

I got dirt, maybe even mulch, on the inside of the lens. This 1/2 gallon

container makes enough solution to cover 6,400 square feet. That's a lot. It's not

a pre-mixed solution like others on the market, so you do need to mix it with

water and supply a sprayer. To make one gallon of solution, shake the colorback

vigorously, then add four ounces of it to one gallon of water. If you get some on

your hands, wash with soap and water sooner rather than later. It does

come off pretty easily. Let's see it in action. This flower bed was mulched at the

end of last season so there's still plenty of mulch keeping the weeds down

in this early spring. I've broken up the mulch to loosen it up and instead of

adding more volume to the bed I'm going to try the color back refresh. I've edged

this bed so I'll need to add some supplemental mulch to the outside

but I'm going to use the color back on the rest of the garden.

It's not supposed to rain today, but it's looking kind of cloudy. Oh that's nice!

I may need to shield some of these plants with cardboard so it doesn't

stain the plants .We'll come back in a minute so

you can see the results. I used about one gallon for this bed here and as I

mentioned before, I'm gonna supplement with some new mulch around the edges

which is why you see dirt. We can compare the colors once I'm done. One thing I

didn't think about with regard to this product is that spraying is one

dimensional which means when I turn the mulch to prevent mold in a few months,

I'll likely need to spray this again. Another thing to take notice of is that

the spray sticks well to the mulch but it does not stain other organic

materials like these pine needles here. It also doesn't really stain dirt so well

but it certainly looks better than it did before. I finished mulching the

outside of the bed and I also scattered some new mulch over the old mulch in

sparse areas and it matches really well.

You can't tell the difference between the old mulch and the new mulch. While moving

the sprayer I accidentally shot this stone wall. I grabbed the garden hose real

quickly and it rinsed right off luckily. So I finished and my 1 gallon sprayer

wasn't too difficult to clean. A few things I'd like to point out: The color

back liquid mulch colorant makes about 16 gallons, covers roughly 6,400 square

feet; The package does not say how long it takes to dry; however, you need to use

the rest of the solution within 5 days. That's a lot of colorant to use. And for

the price, when mulch is on sale, it may be cheaper to buy mulch and do a

scattering on top of the old mulch to save money. As you can see I've done a

bunch of the other flowerbeds as well with the colorant.

Again, my only concern is that in a few months when I need to turn the mulch to

prevent mold I'll need to spray again. By that time I won't be able to use

the rest of the solution, so for the price it's probably cheaper just to buy

mulch when it's on sale and do a light coating over the old mulch. If this video

has been helpful, please do me a favor and like it. And as always thank you so

much for watching!

MapleStory 2 Closed Beta Review - Duration: 4:54.

Hi, my name is SonicPayne, wait, wait, hold up

Hi, my name is SonicPayne. I hope you're doing well today.

And today I'm going to be reviewing MapleStory 2 closed beta

Maplestory 2 is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online RPG

Where you get to battle monsters hang out with your friends play minigames and engage in an epic story mode

Being a pre sequel to the original 2d side-scrolling success

Maplestory 2 English dub has fans from all over the world who are excited to play this game

Starting from the start of my experience

I really enjoyed the character customization.

being able to make my character the way I've wanted my character to be is really awesome

There are so many options to choose from from style to color to facial appearance

And on top of that you can customize the hair to a specific size

which gives you a unique look to your character

Which most games don't have, so I was blown away from this

MapleStory 2 takes place before the events of MapleStory and the rise of the black mage

The origin of the worlds life time and space are kept in the balances through the actions of the three sages who live in lapenta

Dark forces, however, broke the balance and put the world in crisis.

I really enjoyed as much of the story mode as I got to

It was filled with a bunch of action and it kept you entertained for most of the time

there were missions that were pointless in the end, but it didn't bother me too much

The class I chose was a Knight

I enjoyed being up front and combat ready when it came to fighting enemies and bosses with a fast paced battle

I liked how the skills progressed as you upgrade them

My favorite attack would be the holy strike

Where you smashed a sword in the ground and the light would kill the monsters in front of you

As your character yells, BEHOLD THE LIGHT!!!

As far as I know the maple world is based on Victoria Island in this game

But as I've searched around and went to the main areas

I love how the music and scenery really captured the original moment.

My favorite area being Ellinia

Hmm a downside would have to be I didn't see the maple syrup in this story anywhere.

I was hyped for that too

but for real

The things I did have a problem with in game with a lag because I live in Australia and the internet here is Bleh

Not too much of a problem

The dialogue and the cutscenes was either too fast or too slow

I'd be halfway through a sentence and it would jump to the next being a small line and then

Wait about 20 to 30 seconds for it to change

Another problem I kind of encountered is the controller layout

Yes, it's good once you get used to it

But I've seen this layout from the user twin Dennis a Twitch follower of mine submitted to the forums

And I thought that seemed so much better

Something that concerns me for the game is from this forum post from longtime Korean server player redlousk

he claims that the game will be pay to play stating so many good players left because of the policy and

And stating the many different things you have to pay for in game and we all hope

Including me that they changed that or otherwise a lot of people won't bother

So that all being said I don't normally go out of my way to play MMORPG Games

But MapleStory being a huge exception to that rule since I played the first game growing up with my sister

I was also hyped for this game and experiencing it I give it this score

I'm going to give the graphics a 10 right off the bat because I love the anime classical style that draws people into the game

I'll give the music a 7 because most of the soundtrack was a remastered version

I kind of didn't recognize the new music but when I did it was alright

The story deserves an 8 because it goes in depth and you understand the materials that the developers have given you to follow

There are some parts which I will dare not spoil for you all but I look forward to finishing the story at full release

I will give the controls a 6.5 because like I said earlier

It was difficult to follow unless you got really in-depth to be able to use that D-pad

All around gameplay will be a 9 because it is fun

It keeps you entertained and you can play with your friends

And if you don't have any friends, you can make some

And my final score for this game is a solid 8.5

Not too many downsides other than the possibility for the pay to play

Which is why I've gone down from a 9

If not, there is a lot of content to look forward to for the full release

So that is what I have to say about MapleStory 2 closed beta

I hope you enjoyed and if you do

don't forget to click that subscribe button in that notification bell

so you can get notified

When more content gets put out by this guy

By the way the guy is me

Thank You all for watching and I will see you in another video

This outro is Amazing, like look at that, I love it, do you love it? if you see this type outro in the comments ;)

Bye!!!!!!!

You can get it on their website.

It's 1.5 ounces for this it's supposed to make

Should You Buy This Truck? 2018 Toyota Tundra Limited Review & Feature Video Tutorial - Duration: 32:00.

Hey hey everybody, Brock Frady here helping you enjoy your ride! In today's

video we're going to take a look at this 2018 Toyota Tundra Limited.

I'm in love. It's official, even down to the color. The color on this thing is

called cement or cement whichever you prefer. We're gonna pick this thing apart

today. We're going to go through all the technical specs. The inside, the outside. I

love this thing. And if this video looks incredibly smooth today it's because I'm

using an all-new Smove mobile stabilizer. I've been seeing Smove

products online, especially on Facebook. They have incredible Facebook ads all

the time. I reached out to them and I told him who I was and what I did. And I said

"Would you guys be willing to send me one of your stabilizers?" and they said "Yeah!"

This thing is so much fun and I'm gonna be showing you all about the Smove

stabilizer in upcoming videos. and I'm also going to do a complete video about the

struggles that I've had for smoothness in my videos. All the hacks that I've

made. Some have worked, some have not but every single one of those hacks and all

the blood sweat and tears that I've worked for have all been solved right

now in this stabilizer that I'm holding my hand filming this video on.

So thanks Smove! And I would like to say a huge thank you to Mid State Toyota in

Asheboro, North Carolina for the opportunity to film this amazingly

beautiful, sick, sweet, big, fat, massive Tundra. Go check out midstatetoyota.com

on the world wide internet machine. Look at all their amazing inventory and then

go see them in person and buy this truck from them or any other toy out of

vehicle that you may want. Here's the key for the Tundra. You can see on the top is

the lock button. Below that's the unlock button and below that is the

panic alarm. When you press the lock button once

all the doors lock. When you press the unlock button once the driver's door

unlocks. Press it twice all four doors unlocked.

I like the key. It's pretty simple no frills. You see the little slot right

there? If your battery ever dies, you can take something that's that size, pop it

open, and replace the battery. I was telling you before in the intro this

color is cement. And the first time I saw this color it was actually on a

4runner. It just absolutely struck me and I think it was on like a TRD pro

4runner and I had yet to see it on a Tundra but man seeing this Tundra in

person with that color is just fantastic. See where it says Tundra and that's

basically like embossed on it? That's a really good look. 4 x 4 there on

the tailgate. I don't know why that's not embossed. I guess because all of the

Tundra's are not necessarily 4 x 4 so they would have to make separate

tailgates for two-wheel drive ones. You notice here on the handle on the

tailgate, you have your backup camera. Also has

those dynamic gridlines there in the backup camera. It is a locking tailgate

as you can see. You see the lock there and then the Toyota emblem. It's been

moved from the tailgate right onto the emblem there. I think that's a good look.

There's no spray in bedliner in this one so you get to see all the workings of

what the bed actually looks like without spray in version. These are big old clips.

And you can see how they there's that black portion right there screws down

and and it tightens the clamp into the bed rails. To take off this portion

slide that in and at that point you can customize multiple different points of

where you can put all of those different clamps and you can also see that you

have another rail there along the the front side of the bed closest to the cab.

Also another cool thing is that pull back window will roll down. You can just

take this, let it fall, and it gently lays open

there. Makes it nice that it doesn't slap down. You can also of course remove the

tailgate right there. A couple of tie downs you can see there in the corner. We've

got a big tie-down right there and you also have them in the front corners of

the bed as well. You have a couple of different options here. This is going to

be for trailering and there's a big old plug right there. And then you've got

another outlet right. The right side says ground, running lamps, left

short turn, left stop turn, right stop turn, and then it gives you a little

diagram of what's going on with the bulbs over on the left side as well. You

see the dot there on the bumper and then you've got two on that side. Then you're

going to also have two on the left side. So that's going to be Park Assist that's

what beeps whenever you get too close to something if you're at parking lot speeds.

This also has a feature called Rear Cross Traffic Alert so that in the event

that you're backing, then these sensors are going to help you with knowing if

something is coming from the left or the right that is a far distance away that

you need to stop and not hit. It has a larger fuel tank. That fill tank is 38

gallons. Double wishbone front suspension with stabilizer bar and a trap leaf rear

suspension with staggered outboard shocks. Power assisted four-wheel disc

brakes and these amazing 20-inch alloy wheels with P275 55 R 20 tires. And you

can see there where it says m+s. That means mud and snow.

Another one of the things that you're going to notice about it being a Limited

is the silver trim that's on the outside. You can see where it says Limited right

there on the badge on the door. Then you can see the silver handles there on the

door itself. I love how the mirror has the silver plate on it there. Gives it a

really nice look. You can also see there how it has the silver trim there on the

bumper. That's a pretty good look with your fog light that's integrated there

and the grille in the front of this thing is just where it's at. I love how

Toyota has just over the years made the grille even more aggressive and

aggressive year after year. Some people aren't a big fan of that but I love the

look of that grille. And like I mentioned the chrome there, you can see how it

surrounds both top and bottom and the Toyota badge. That actually has a radar

that is set behind it and that's used for your radar cruise control to keep

you at a set distance between you and the vehicles in front of you, obviously

maintaining safety. You also have LED daytime running lights

there inside that actually surround the headlight and that's flashing because of

my camera refresh rate. For some reason LED lights do that but those are such a

good look and it actually looks kind of cool right there. But do you hear that

chain saw?

I mean really how big is that thing? I mean the birds are behind me.It's all

pretty and then Paul Bunyan just happens to be over here while I'm filming. Oh

well, like they say. Here are your tow hooks easy right they're all in the front and

that's what you'll need in the event that you've got to pull somebody else

out of something. A skid plate there. All the bits and pieces of the

undercarriage. Pretty cool stuff.

It is a 5.7 liter I force V 8 with dual individual vvt-i. It has 381

horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. It has a six-speed automatic

transmission with sequential shift. It also has on-demand four-wheel drive with

electrically controlled transfer case, a track and an automatic limited slip

differential. You notice that you see here it says 0w 20 on the fuel cap right

there. That means that it's fully synthetic oil and you're going to want to

change that oil every 10,000 miles. Right down here to the right is going to be your

battery positive on the left side, negative on the right side. Do not get

those crossed up. That would not be good. We've got relay in fuse box there on the

right side. Pressure fluid in that gigantic washer fluid tank there.

The power steering fluid and then you've got a little bit of coolant right there.

On the right side another really nice thing about the Tundra is that the hood

is mounted on shocks. That is a fantastic thing so you don't have to prop it up

with that arm or hold it up with your arm. Another add-on are these running

boards and I love these. These are actually called the stealth stainless

running boards and I don't know that I would take a Tundra without them.

Another cool safety feature and that's going to be blind spot monitor. You can see

that right there. And these mirrors are heated and they also break away so that

you can fold them in if you have to go to a car wash or something you don't

want to get them messed up. Okay let's take a look at the inside. We're going to

start with the back seat. There's a lot of things that this seat can do. Number

one this can be pulled up and the whole seat bottom comes up like that. And it's

actually going to stay in position just like that. That is super, super handy. Now

we can take that and put it right back now. Kind of falls down. Something that I

just discovered was how this headrest works. There are little tabs right there

and you can see that those little tabs. You see that just right there on the

very edge of that and then there's another one here. Well you can take the

headrest and push that tab in and that will come up. At that point you can take

the headrest and you can hold it down. Now the headrest will also come

completely off too if you you know push the tabs I don't have two hands right

now but if you push the tabs then the

headrest will come completely off. But otherwise it will fold up and down and

then you've got a center armrest here. That's pretty helpful if you have just

two rear passengers. You can fold that down and put their cups there. You can

see that you have air vents there and a power point. It's a lighter adapter power

point. And this thing just has tons and tons of room. A few cupholders there in

the door. You can see there at the bottom of the door there you've got a

few cupholders. And it's really utilitarian. I mean it, you you don't

really need a bunch of frills in it. Kind of a satin finish on the door handle.

Speakers there in your door. There's a speaker there and then a speaker there

down low. And you do actually have some soft touch materials right here on this

door with a little bit of stitching there. It's got a nice look and in the

event that you do want to take some kids with you,

there's your child safety door locks there. So you can just push that down and

it makes it to where that door handle will not open the door from the inside.

A nice feature. Easy to use. It's really really cool is that I had that front

seat adjusted for me and there's just a ton of room back there for anybody that

needs to get back there. Notice that your fuel tank is over on the left side of

the bed. You have power seats, so you have controls to slide it forward and then

you can take the front of this and you can move the seat bottom up and down as

well. You can see that that's moving up and down and then you can actually take

this and move the entire seat up and down. And then this is going to tilt the

back. Lumbar support right there. And then you've got an airbag right here on the

outer portion and the seats are really, really nice. I love how the leather is on

that seat and it's nice and tough and durable. The bolsters for the seat come

out nice and wide but they're not too high and the seats and the bolstering on

the seat backs is nice and big but it's still let's you fit in there nice and

comfortably without being too restrictive. And then on the inside of

the driver's door you have the same soft panels there with this stitching on the

inside of the door. And notice also that you've got two automatic up-and-down

window buttons. Then you've got your controls for your rear windows there and

then toward the front of that is going to be your lock and unlock and then the

lock button to lock all the windows. Notice that you've got your JBL label

there on that speaker, as this one does have the upgraded JBL

stereo since it is a Limited. A couple of cup holders and, like I mentioned, the

super valuable running boards there. Those are gonna be really, really nice,

really for anybody. You're going to notice a really big bank of buttons right here.

And we're going to start on the top left and you see L R and mirror . That's going to

be the controls for your mirrors and then you have on/off door and that is

going to be the control for your bed light.

We recommend is just keeping it there basically so that whenever the door

opens the light for your bed comes on. And then this is going be for the

adjustment for the headlights, so when your headlights are on at night you can

take this and roll it up and down. Because if you've got something in the

bed then it's going to do that and your headlights are going to go up like that.

So using this feature, if you've got something heavy in the bed, you can then

turn your headlights down and you can always have them on the road where they

need to be. And you know what? I got these two mixed up. That's for the interior

light. I do apologize. That's for the interior light and that's for the bed

light. Hello. The icon right there. So, you know what that is now. Then the button in

the middle there to the right of the bed light button and that says Auto and

that's because this one has the automatic sensing brights. What this

feature does is it allows the head lights to dim automatically while you're

driving so at night you can drive around the whole time with your brights on and

whenever you encounter someone in in incoming traffic or oncoming traffic the

headlights will dim automatically so that you don't blind people . The way you

cut that on is to push that forward and then to push that on and then you can

see on the dash it says auto high beam ready. Turn on high beam to activate and

now you see where it says Auto right there on the stalk. You can roll that

forward to that where there's a little that little mark lines up with Auto. So

now automatically at night your brights are going to cut on so that

you can maximize the efficiency of your headlights without blinding people

because they're going to automatically dim. That's a great, great feature. I really

recommend using that all the time. Over on the left side you can see your

steering wheel audio controls and then there's voice commands right there. And

then you can see where it says mode and hold and that's how you're going to

change the mode of the audio system. Also when if you want to have a

conversation with somebody and you want to mute the radio, you can press and hold

that and it will mute the radio for you. And then of course you have Bluetooth

here. Hang up and pick up so that you can control

whenever you get a phone call or if you need to make a phone call you can

operate that to the left of the steering wheel right there. On the right side of

the wheel here is a multi directional keypad that you're going to see in the top

right portion of the steering wheel. That's going to go up down in and out. And

then you've got a little dot right here and that is actually to make a selection,

once you want to make a selection. And then this is gonna be the back arrow to

get out of a window. Then this is your pages icon. And down

here is going to be for the Radar Cruise Control and that's Lane Departure Alert.

You can see here that this is your cruise control stalk. On the top Assist,

Cancel. On the end Assist On and Off . Then Resume with the arrow going up. Set with

the arrow going down. And then Hold. So when you want to use cruise control, you

press that in and on the dash right now it says Radar Ready. And so what you

would do at this point is to get up to the speed you want to cruise and then

press down to set it and the vehicle takes over. Now the reason it said Radar

rRady is because it's going to use a radar in order to determine the distance

between you and the vehicle in front of you. And it's going to maintain that set

distance. Now it's gonna maintain that distance based on what you input with

this button right now on the dash. You see there it say Radar Ready. I just

push that button and you see the three blue blocks. Now - now one that's the

distance that the Tundra is going to maintain while you're using radar cruise

control and you can press that button I just showed you.

That's the greatest distance. That's next to the greatest and that's the least you

need. To use this to determine yourself what distance you're comfortable with

and at what speed. What I find personally is that three blocks is too far for me

because it maintains a really big distance between you and the vehicle in

front of you. But you want to pay attention to that because this is a big,

big vehicle. So you want to take that into consideration when setting the

distance that you want to maintain between you and the one in front of you.

And that's the least amount of distance right there. So like I said,

you play with that and and you know determine what you want to do. And then

there's Lane Departure Alert right there. We're gonna press the Lane Departure

alert button and then you can see the icon in the top left came on and it says

LDA unavailable below approximately 32 miles an hour. Lane Departure alert is

the feature that allows the vehicle to determine when you're getting outside of

your lane and it can let you know, it's going to actually warn you, on the dash but

it's like I said it's unavailable below 32 miles an hour. Looking at this multi

directional keypad when I press the pages icon this is what it looks like. So

now I can press to the right and I can go all through these different pages

here. Cruise control ,no messages, settings,

information, compass, music. So I'm going to go to settings lDA's Lane Departure

alert. And I can press that little middle dot in that multi directional keypad

that I was talking about and here's the sensitivity. Warning is on. It's off now.

Now its on. And so this is all Lane Departure alert.

The sensitivity right here. You see a coffee cup and it says warning and

sensitivity. That determines that if I am getting outside of my lane too much

within a certain time frame then it's gonna show the coffee cup on the dash

and it's going to say "Hey you need to take a break pal" because you're swerving too

much. And then there's the sensitivity of it. Okay. So I'm gonna press the back

arrow. PCS is Pre-Collision System and that is the feature that you never, ever,

ever want to have to use because as the name implies it only works if you are

about to get into a wreck. Pre-Collision System, I always recommend leaving it on

and I recommend a sensitivity right there based on what you feel safe with.

That's the maximum, that's the middle, and that's the least. So that is basically

going to look ahead of the vehicle, determine if you are about to get into a

collision and take appropriate measures based on breaking and pulling the seat

belt back against your chest to put you better situated in the seat in the event

of an impact. And just it's an incredible safety system. So that's Pre-Collision.

BSM is Blind Spot Monitor and that is on. That's little icons that are in the

outer portions of the corners of the mirrors and it's on. RCTA is Rear

Cross Traffic Alert and I just cut it on. That's a great feature. Vehicle settings

and this controls the brightness of the blind spot monitor that's in the mirrors.

It's the first time I've seen this on a vehicle to where you can actually

control the brightness and I love that. RCTA is Rear Cross Traffic Alert

volume and that's the feature that will alert you if someone is coming behind

you and you are backing and they are coming from the left or the right and

you can't see them. Rear Cross Traffic Alert if they're crossing your traffic

pattern in the back in Reverse. Then it's going to warn you. That's the volume

back arrow, back arrow again. And so these are all the different settings. I'm

scrolling down now and that's the Lane Departure Warning. Remember I was telling

you about how to adjust the sensitivity of that? Tank average. So this is just all

fuel economy stuff. There is a digital speedometer. I love that. Okay and I'm

gonna go to the right. There's navigation. There's music. All that is going to come

from using this set of buttons right there. Great feature. You can just tap it up

and it blinked three times. And that's if I'm just changing lanes but I don't want

to fully engage the turn signal. And then windshield wipers are right here. Pretty

self-explanatory. Mist, off, intermittent low and high. This controls the speed of

the intermittent wiper and then that is going to wash off the windshield for you.

Here's another bank of buttons for you. On the top left is Park Assist. I always

recommend having that on. You know sometimes you may want to cut it off if

you are in a drive-thru and it's beeping like crazy. You can just reach down and

cut it off and then once you leave the drive-thru you can cut it back on. To

the right of that is traction control off. And to the right of traction control

is Tow Haul mode and then Trailer Brake Output. And then your gain right there

and that's how you can control how the brakes react or how the brakes are used

according to a trailer type. Whether or not you need to increase or decrease the

gain of your brakes whenever there you've got electric brakes connected to

the trailer there. And here's the dial that you're going to want to use if you

want to switch it from two-wheel drive to four high and four low transmission

is here. When you put it in reverse there's your backup camera and you have

the grid there so that you know where you are in connection with what you're

trying to back to. And then when you put it into drive at any speed and this is

just regular drive but at any speed you can flip it over and you can manually

engage gears there. Up and down and when you up shift or when you push it

forward it up shifts. So it's in six speed now.

5,4,3,2,1. And you can see that there at the very

bottom S 2,3,4,5,6. then I can take it at any time and flip it back

over and that's just regular drive. One of the nice things that I noticed about

it as soon as I got in it was that the fact that it had three cupholders. Check

that out. Then you've got this thing here that's I guess you could put pins or

business cards or jelly beans or belly button lint whatever you want to put

there. You do have a nice tray there to put whatever. There's an auxilary port

and you can take that and lift it up and you can see that you have a USB adapter

plus an auxilary. And then this is a cigarette lighter adapter right there

for power. You have another one over on that side as well. Here's our climate

control system. You can see that it is dual zone climate control over on the

left. you see auto and off. That's in the inside of that button there when you

press Auto it's going to automatically maintain the temperature of the truck at

whatever temperature you have set. You can see at the top of the screen there

it says 68 degrees. So if I turn that it's going to change. You can see it says

68 66, all that. So it's automatically going to maintain the cabin temperature

whenever that is on. On the right dial you can see Sync and AC. If I take sync

and I deactivate it, at that point I can control the passenger side temperature

independently of the driver side but if Sync is active at that point it controls

both. You can see the buttons here. That's defrost for the front, defrost for the

back, recirculate, fan speed and mode. Mode changes the fan direction and then this

is 3-way power heated seats. You can see on the top side of the screen. Hazard

lights are here and now we're looking at the audio system and also the whole

infotainment system. There on the left side you see home and that's the screen

that we're on right now. And that is a screen that you can actually customize. I

can press apps and then I can go to Setup and then I

can go home screen and completely change around the look of the home screen and I

actually like the way it is right now although I am going to change something.

Something I'm gonna change. Phone and I'm going to press that and go to weather

because I like to see weather when I get into the truck. So audio on the top left

weather on the bottom left and then navigation in the big portion and look

at that. So I've Nav on the right, weather, and

then audio. These are clickable also. So I can take that, touch one portion of the

screen, and then and expand it into that information. This is HD, so that means it

can actually broadcast stuff like this and this is from the Weather Channel and

this is actually free for life. This is not subscription-based. That's really,

really nice. So I can go three day and this is a little forecast that we have

here and I can see that on Tuesday it's going to be humidity 91 chance of precip,

is 70 and it's going to be a high of 59 and a low of 51. Then I can back out of

all that and there's a few more detailed weather things. Back to home.

I can go settings and this is going to get take me right to my setup screen and

then there's general. I can cut the beep on and off back on.

So I recommend getting into this screen and just playing around with it and

seeing what you like and also just make changes. Do all kinds of different things

that you want to change around. This is really cool when it comes to messing

with your nav system. So it's gonna take all of these things into consideration

when you are inputting a destination into the nav system so that it can more

efficiently route you where you need to go. Based on these settings, whether or

not they are selected. Great stuff . I love all this. You can customize certain

things about the vehicle. I recommend going to light settings. You can see

headlamps on sensitivity. So now this is going to have a little eye that's up by

the rearview mirror and it's going to adjust the timing of the automatic

headlights. When they cut on at night as the sun's going down based on this

sensitivity. Isn't that cool? So you can customize all kinds of crazy things and

set this up. I really recommend setting aside some time to make sure that you

know what you're doing in the Tundra. Very, very cool stuff. And then everything

else is pretty self-explanatory as far as audio system and so you can take this

and reorder these. I'm gonna press FM, push the back arrow. You see that then

I'm going to push Bluetooth and I'm going to move that over beside FM and then

I'm gonna push USB and so that's how now that screen is arranged. So now let's say

I want to memorize a radio station. I can tune the station right here then I can

go here and press and hold. And that just memorized the station right there. Nice

and easy. Cool stuff. Sunroof controls are right here. You can

see where it says tilt and then slide. So I can just press that, it opens the

sunroof and it is one touch. That's bright . Nice big sunroof. I love a truck

with a sunroof. That is just so cool to me. And then you can take it in. It's one

touch close as well. Then you have a little bit of additional

storage for your sunglasses and then a nice inset compass there in the mirror.

That's always a great feature. Really cool stuff. Then you've got a set of

buttons right there and that's called Home Link and that's where you can set

your garage door opener into your mirror there so that you don't have to carry a

garage door opener around with you all the time. You've got a nice big fat box right

here. So you can lift that up and then you can see all that in here there's

just a ton of stuff. I was looking at this earlier and I have no idea how you

would get a tissue box there but that says tissues anyways. And then you've got

cards. You can put business card slot right there. A couple of pens or pencils.

Pretty nice and that is it just a big old massive box right there. It's really

nice and then you've got another power source right there. Oh this is really

cool! You can take your charger right there for your cell phone, plug it in

right there, and then run the wire here and then just leave your phone right

there if it's tiny. You know that's not gonna work maybe a

little nope. Not even a little itty bitty old-school iPhone. Not gonna do it but

anyways so that's that's pretty cool. I like this truck a lot. Okay everybody,

that's gonna wrap up our look at the 2018 Toyota Tundra Limited Crew Cab. All

kinds of stuff. Thank you so much for watching.

i truly appreciate it . Make sure you give it a big fat thumbs up and you share it

with your friends. Also, if i earned your subscription, then make sure you hit that

‼️😱 Review: COSRX Low pH First Cleansing Milk Gel - Duration: 4:49.

I'm very excited to show you the brand new product of COSRX.

Hi guys, welcome to my brand new video and today I want to announce that I will be adding

a new serie into my channel which is all about my first impressions of products

or any reviews that I have about products so in these videos I will be

talking more about the product, what I think about it, the texture of the

product, the scent of the product everything what I think about the

product. So let's start with the first product and I'm very excited to show you

the brand new product of Cosrx. So the first product that I want to show

you guys is this one from COSRX and this is the low pH first cleansing milk

gel and I've been showing you guys this on my Instagram already, giving some

sneak peeks of the product but I've been to the COSRX head office while I was

in Seoul and they kindly provided this to me to try out and it will be released

in June I believe so I'm just one of the lucky ones who is able to try it so I

was super excited after I tried it and I actually used it straight away after

receiving their product so I've been using it now for 3 weeks

so what kind of cleanser is this according to the description it's a

silky cleansing milk that gently melts away base makeup dirt and excess

oil without leaving any greasy residue and according to the directions you

should apply it on dry skin before a foam cleanser and you just need to

massage evenly over the face and rinse with warm water. As for the texture it's

a, what it claims basically, it's a silky cleansing milk so it's white when you

apply it so it's more like a gel type and once you apply this on your skin it

gets translucent and once you apply water onto this it's just

still translucent but scent wise it's really nice it

it doesn't really have a perfume inside so it's derived from natural ingredients

that are inside but it reminds me of witch hazel or tea tree scent that it

has I don't really mind it it's not too overwhelming but some people might not

really like it I'm sure you just need to get used to it but yeah texture wise it

just feels very soft on the skin, like silky, it just feels really nice

and once you rinse it off my skin just feels very soft and very clean as well

so I really love it as a first cleanse and I've been using this mostly in the

morning time and where I normally just use one cleanser and when I wake up I'm

usually very very oily and this really helps well with it I don't I can't

really use all types of cleanser when my skin is too oily

so that's why I'm reaching out to this one this just removes my oil really

well. I will be adding the full ingredient list into the descriptions

down below so check that out and I'll be adding it at COSDNA so you can see if

there are any like harmful ingredients that might not be suitable for your skin

so check that out. I've tried the other low pH cleanser from COSRX before

and that actually dried my skin out so I stopped using that but luckily I didn't

experience that with this one it didn't break me out, it didn't dry out my skin, it

didn't remove my normal oil that I have it just feels really

nice on the skin. Thank you all so much for watching I hope you guys like today's

video if you would like to see more let me know in the comments down below and

if you liked it make sure to subscribe, give a like and I'll be adding more

information about this product down below in the description box I'll be

adding the ingredient list the full description of the products and how to

use them unfortunately I can't really add the shops that's going to sell this

product because I'm not really sure but I'll be updating it once it has been

released so thank you all so much guys and I will see you guys next time!

WatchGang Black Review: PUREDIAL POWERSPHERE STEEL - Duration: 7:14.

WatchGang Black May Review: PUREDIAL POWERSPHERE STEEL

what is up this is Andrew with my watch addiction reviews comm and today we are going to

do a quick follow-up review on that pure dial that I received as a part of my

watchgang black subscription for may 2018

so in case you missed the unboxing of this puredial powershere that I received from my

watchgang platinum subscription pretty neat case design I'm kind of digging this

case it's just a nice way to display the watch and ship it take the watch out

here you can see in here you obviously have already sized this watch because

I've worn it a couple of times so far but it does come with the international

warranty card which incidentally is not filled out but I don't there's a lot of

times from watch gang that you receive a watch in the warranty card itself is not

shipped or I'm sorry is not filled out so this is the puredial powersphere

steel model number PDP s 2300 that I received as a part of my watch gang

black subscription for May 2018 if we zoom in a little bit on this guy we can

take a walk around it this is a pretty good size case there's there's a lot of

heft to this watch this case is 45 millimeters in diameter with a case

thickness of 13 millimeters now I think I could be wrong this will be one of my

first square watches or square shaped watches that I've had I think that

because of that just case size and because of that square design I think

it's likely wears a little bit big compared to some of my other

as that are 45 millimeters and definitely wears a little bit big

because of the weight behind it but quite honestly that is one of the things

that I really really like about this watch I've mentioned this in the past

but a lot of times people equate weight to value and sturdiness of something and

for me personally I know that's especially true this this watch feels

like a tank this watch feels like I could throw it around and it would be

fine whether or not that's true or not I don't know but I do like the weight in

the heft of this watch take it off the pillow here we turn it around to the

back we can see that open display case back featuring that Seiko NH35 24

jeweled automatic movement this is 316l stainless steel both on the

case and that linked metal bracelet stainless steel bracelet I should say

and then we have the push button clasp with the pur dial logo right on the

bottom now pure dial in general historically with their original subs

anyway received a lot of heat a lot of people did not like the original pure

dial subs from a few months back now but I don't know personally I really like

this watch would I pay $500 which is incidentally the MSRP that these guys

are selling for on their website I would not pay five hundred dollars for this

watch but for $100 $100 is the watch gain black subscription cost I I think

this is a decent watch for hundred dollars I have I have no complaints

about it again we have the pure dial logo right

there on the crown and then that that case design one thing that I kind of

like about the case design is it looks like it's multiple parts to it and it's

all assembled

so that was just a quick follow-up review on this Puredial puredial power

sphere steel say that five times fast if you can it's definitely a mouthful

overall my overall impression of this watch is I kind of like it

take the green color aside which you know that's just a personal preference

the actual stylings of the watch the weight the heft to it the sapphire

crystal that Seiko NH35 movement for a hundred bucks I don't think this

is a bad watch for a hundred bucks I'm not hating it there's there's not

anything outside of that color that I absolutely hate about this watch and I

think this one unless somebody wants to trade me a black or white dial for this

green one I think this one might stay in my collection for a little bit but who

knows got a lot of watches coming in guys a lot of watches coming in right

now I've got about thirty five watches waiting to be reviewed for you guys so

two to three videos a week for god knows how long is what you guys are gonna be

Journey Review: First Impressions (Mac) - Duration: 8:32.

Hello everyone and welcome back to another video it is Francesco here

Welcome to the Keep Productive YouTube channel if you're brand new, but if you're a regular, welcome back

So today's video is going to be a little bit of a review on the journaling application called journey

Now you guys know that I try in some extent to talk about productivity applications

But I do like to delve into once that sort of catch my attention

especially in the sort of a guess being productive sort of experience I guess is

Making sure that you keep an eye on health and important things. So this this is an application

It's actually interested me. But something I want to talk about now. I eventually got it on iOS

I'm not an active user. I just have an interest in sort of diving into the Mac version

This is the set up version which is part of this description, but you can get it available on the Mac App Store

So it is also available on Chrome Web Store as I might say and also

They have a host of other application. That's something I'll to speak about at the end. So here we are with the application

I'm gonna dive in sort of show you around

This is the first time I've opened it on Mac, so it might be a good experience for you. So

They sort of start you up with the experience letting you know that you can sync and backup by Google Drive

I'm essentially journey is a diary or a journal

For your application you can use it on web too and it allows you to basically capture the most important

Journaling things of your day now, whether that's you know, your thoughts and opinions or your emotions

All of those things are at being able to capture inside of the application as well as location weather and your motion activity

now it supports markdown and allows you to publish in HTML or

Save as a PDF, which is great and you can also add images as well as Atlas for you and things like that. So

The actual journey application provides you with Google logins so you can go through that

I'm not sure whether there was a option to actually sign in using a fresh account

But maybe that will be available through the web version. So this is the journey application as you can see

it's really dead simple the concept behind it is and journal entries and you have this sort of like

Experience that you allow to see everything at a glance so you can see here that obviously on this left-hand panel you have everything

Your actual journey view which actually sees all it sees actually has all of your journal entries

You can see your photos

you can see the date that you did it by and

you can even go back in the past as well as an atlas of all of the activities that you

Did and where they were so that is very helpful

Now this is all stood through the cloud

So it will sync between the devices and you can manually sync to which makes it a lot easier now

You can lock the application which will allow you to get a bit more security on it

And of course, you can view the settings as well here. Now, the settings are dead simple

You can actually change the font because I guess that's a portent part of the journaling experience

You change the font size the units the actual night mode, which actually changes it into a different

Background, which is great Auto adding location sound effects

Which I'm actually gonna switch off because I'm sort of hear them tapping and not sure whether you can as well as a spell trap

Function now, you've got sync and since with your Google Drive account

So that will store quite nicely in there and also you can and able sort of password to the account make it a little bit

stronger

You can import other journey accounts as debt well as day one entries and evil remove the account from your computer

But apart from that they're these simple functions of settings. So I'm gonna add a nice journal entry sort of demonstrate what it looks like

So all you do is you hit that plus button and to start obviously

Adding the entry and it looks really simply like this. So it's almost like a window or on Evernote

For example, you have the ability to add location, which I won't do in this case

This also allows you to add the weather data as well as the weather what you're actually doing like were you flying?

Right because you could be entering while you're on a long trip. I'm actually stick turning right now

So I'm going to put that one there and you can also add tags as well

Which is quite a nice function so I might say

recording or YouTube

And I'd

Say, of course, you can have that. There we go. It's already ticked

Which makes it really easy to access as well as even changing the date and time which makes it a lot easier

Now once you you're happy and you're ready to go you can start adding more details. So I'm going to do that right now

Okay, so here we are and I read a little bit of an entry journal entry and I can I added all the right information

I even added the

Location as well so you can pick a place

And in this case, I need to just choose this place

So great I also added some photos on the right-hand side of the food and stuff and I'm pretty much ready to go

So once you tick everything off, it's it was pretty good

what happens is it will pop up in your

Journal feed with the photos on top which makes it look really nice as well as obviously your entry there

Now the cool thing is it went the location the exact weather that's happening right now. Of course, I could go back and

Obviously modify that but it's actually a nice addition

Now the only thing that I think they could have added. Maybe I'm doing it completely

Wrong is the ability to add a title to this one

Let's say I wanted to say little event or a whale something like that. That is possible

now once you add a photo you can of course go to the photos view and actually see them which is quite nice or even

Go to the select date view

so for example

I'm going to go to Sunday and actually see that there so it can actually jump to the specific date and

Down here. I can actually see a map view of the location which is really really cool

So it's something really nice addition, especially once you've got a bunch added there

So the concept of this application is really really simple. Um, it doesn't really do hideous amounts

I would say in terms of doing you know more than that, but that is the set up version of it

so

Of course

Naturally there is going to be more on the other experiences because this is sort of like a a rolled up version of it

But as you can imagine this application is pretty good

So just to give you a bit of an outline on the experience the application is available on Windows

Mac

Android iOS

Chrome as well as journey cloud as well

now the application is meant to be very secure in terms of being able to keep I obviously love that good stuff safe and

of course the application is

free which is great

which makes it a lot easier the application is developed by a company called - app studio and

The applications on iOS and Android work really really well

Now there is a journey premium upgrade which is available as an in-app purchase. It is priced at

$29.99 and will allow you to access the journey dot cloud membership

Now this allows you to have daily reminders as well as inspirations to your email inbox write and attach photos from email

unlocking premium on any of the other devices as well as a couple of other services like

Markdown removing PDF watermarks docx export night mode and a couple of other functions with backup

But apart from that that's the really sort of outlandish hooks into experiences

I think that would be more specific for if you're maybe writing this up as a diary or doing something a bit more

Exporting with it maybe turning into a book or something like that. Anyway guys, hopefully this was a nice review of journey

Let me know in the comments what you thought let me know what journal application you're using on a daily basis

Hope this wasn't too far out of my remit, but I really am starting to look at doing a few more of these

Anyway guys, thank you very much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this video make it a great week

Keep it up. T'v and I'll see you guys a very very soon Cheers

NIKE MERCURIAL TOUCH ELITE | goalkeeperglove test & review ita/eng sub | SHERLOCK GLOVES - Duration: 3:37.

Hello everyone, today we will test and review the most discussed gloves of the moment.

i nike mercurial touch elite. but how will they behave in the field? follow me and you will discover it

the latex is the contact with the introduction of ACC technology, which should improve performance in all weather conditions

did we notice it? not much, but the performances are nonetheless the highest level on dry

good in the wet and the abrasion resistance is also good

the cut is negative, a bit too minimal for our tastes

in fact it is very simple and does not extend on the thumb or on the other fingers

this creates a really reduced gripping surface, and during the gripping phase the lycra portion comes in contact with the ball

causing the contact between the latex balloon to fail causes slipping

the body of the glove is entirely made of elastic material

both as regards the black part, on which at the level of the two middle fingers was infected with the gel to have more grip in the fist rejected

both for the yellow insert that is in Lycra and allows the glove to adapt in an exceptional way to the hand

as you may have noticed, the glove does not have a cuff and strap

but this elastic band is present which still allows excellent stability of the hand

In conclusion, this glove only liked its latex, its tight fit and its lightness

from the high part we were really disappointed with the build quality

in fact, the glove every time we wear it or remove it from the sensation of breaking at any moment

and it happened just like that, in fact it broke at the level of the two middle fingers, on both gloves

unacceptable for a glove that costs 150 euros, coming from an important brand like NIKE

another thing that has not convinced us is the gripping surface that, as mentioned before, is really reduced

as you could see the defects of this glove are so many and have led us to advise against the purchase

if you are still interested in the glove we leave you the link in the description.

Harmless Like You | Gush Review - Duration: 6:21.

Same shirt, different book.

Hi, my name's Matthew, and oh my freaking goodness, I have a new favorite book.

Maybe not of all time, but I'm definitely adding Harmless Like You by Rowan Hisayo

Buchanan to my top ten list--maybe top 20. I don't know, I'm very fickle. When I

posted my TBR for reading women this month (I'll link that video down below

because self promotion) I think that the majority of people were interested in my

opinions on this book in particular, which is exciting because that's the

first one that I read, and I am enamored. Harmless Like You follows two main

characters, Yuki and Jay. We see Yuki starting in New York City in the 1960s

through the 80s and then through today. Jay, we see specifically in 2016. Let's talk

about these two perspectives--I listened to the audiobook of this book and I

highly 100% recommend it because Emily Wu Zeller is the narrator for Yuki's

half and Emily Wu Zeller is one of the best audible narrators ever. If you see

her name on a book, just buy it because it's going to be read fantastically. I

didn't catch the guy's name who read Jay's part, but he was great too.

Yuki's perspective is told in third person and Jays perspective is told in

first person, and I think respectively, these are great choices. In the case

of Yuki, Yuki is a character that you can get easily attached to. She's a young

girl, she's a hopeful, she wants to be an artist. You follow her life in these very

delicate stages and she's somebody with the emotional capacity of any human, so

putting her story in the third person gives you enough distance so that you

don't have to (as a reader) suffer her emotional trauma throughout this entire

text, but at the same time, is a nice doorway into more emotional state and

more reflection because it isn't so close. Jay's perspective, being in the

first person, I also thought was a brilliant choice because Jay is not

exactly a likable character. He is kind of a classic straight (and maybe bisexual??)

man and he experiences so many emotional states that I think are so vividly

depicted and so accurately described by Rowan Hisayo Buchanan. Just overall I

think that she is a master when it comes to emotional fluidity and describing the

nuance and--and--grittiness of the human experience

when it comes to feeling all of the feels. He is a man who

is disgusted by his wife's pregnant body, who is terrified of his own child, who

has so much anxiety and so much hatred for other things--and himself--for feeling

these things, and while it's not exactly nice, while it's very wrong in many cases,

having his perspective in the first person really opens you up to him in an

empathetic way, and makes you perhaps sympathise with someone who does resent

these negative feelings, who is aware of how awful he is. But at the same time I

don't think Rowan Hisayo Buchanan gives excuses for his behavior and excuses for

his thoughts. There's something so raw, and I hate using that word, but it's very

true there's something so raw about Jay's melancholy--depicted in a way that I

would normally hate. Like, I think of all of the American modern classics that I

utterly despise, because I'm so tired of hearing about straight men and their

woes, but for some reason the way that this is crafted in this book actually

spoke to me and hit me in a very profound way. I felt sympathy for a man

that in pretty much any other novel I would despise. Another thing I really

liked about this book is that in Yuki's perspective, we get New York City

in the 60s and 70s, and in no way does the author romanticize this time period.

Because other people's versions of New York are not necessarily your version

of New York, and historically New York City was great if you were a straight

white man, usually married, and with a lot of money. For everyone else, it wasn't

exactly the most amazing place to be, and so no faux nostalgia is placed upon

this version of New York. It's just very accurately described, and then your

personal nostalgia may be put upon the text if you feel so inclined as a reader.

Now in this book there is a trigger warning for domestic violence for abuse.

The character Yuki is in an abusive relationship for the majority of this

text. She is in a relationship with a man named Lou, and I found this depiction of

abuse to be so tactful, so educational, and it really opened up my mind

and heart to this fictional situation in reflection of the world. The first time

that Lou hits Yuki, the narration goes from describing Yuki, Yuki, Yuki, to "the

body." Yuki is described as "the body" completely separate from herself. There's

a scene right after, where she pours tea and the narration says that a cup of tea

was poured for Lou and a cup of tea was poured for "the body." And this

dissociation with oneself is such a very vivid and active thing, while also

being a very traumatizing act of apathy. And above all of this I don't think the

author was trying to make a fascination of abuse. This was a very real situation

to be in during the 60s and 70s if you were a woman. You see those old articles

from newspapers of like "ways to spank your wife if she doesn't listen." Like,

that was a thing. That was common pop culture, was hitting your wife ,abusing

your wife. There was just an overall earnestness and purity of this text, even

the writing sentence by sentence wasn't flowery, wasn't this lyrical expression.

It was very simple, clear-cut, and pure, and I appreciated 100% everything that

happened. This book is a debut?? This book is a debut!! And I encourage everyone to

read it. Have you read this book, do you want to read this book, do you want to

read it now specifically because I'm so excited about it? Comment down below! Or

if you have any other questions, thoughts, comments, opinions, or beliefs about what

I've talked about, put those down below as well. Otherwise, thank you so much for

watching, and I hope to see you soon.

Everything you should know about PARKLIFE | Cities: Skylines DLC Review & Guide - Duration: 16:59.

Parklife is the sixth major expansion pack for Cities: Skylines, released on May 24th, 2018.

Just as the name suggests, the main focus of this DLC revolves around parks, giving

for the first time a way for players to create customized recreational open areas that increase

Land Value and Leisure, as well as introducing other features that greatly boost Tourism,

turning your city into an international sensational hotspot.

In this video, I'll tell you everything you need to know about these features.

I'm T4rget, and this is my Parklife review and practical guide.

I've listed every topic in the description of this video and provided timestamps in case

you want to go directly to that particular topic.

Let's start with most hyped feature of this expansion: Park Areas.

Park Areas not only increase your city's happiness, the area's Entertainment and

Land Value, but also offer the chance for collecting ticket income, being a potential

source of revenue for your city.

Park Areas can be leveled-up, unlocking new leisure buildings as you reach higher levels.

They can be as big and take whatever shape you want, meaning you can develop them to

complex and buzzing entertainment venues or small filler parks.

Remember that awkward space in between zoned buildings that you just wished you could turn

into a customized fitting area?

Well, now you can turn them into a park that not only people will use, but also act as

a real venue, raising the Land Value of the location.

There are four types of Park Areas you can create: City Park, Nature Reserve, Zoo, and

Amusement Park.

The City Park is your standard multipurpose park.

Not only do they look great in high density areas, but because their assets are significantly

smaller than the other Park Area's assets, they are great as filler parks to put in the

tight empty areas between buildings.

Nature Reserve is ideal to create outdoor resorts in mountains, valleys and lakes, with

dedicated assets such as Lookout Towers,

Viewing Decks and Fishing Cabins.

The Zoo brings the animal kingdom to your city, having a decent variety of animal enclosures

you can put, such as the Elephant, Lion and Flamingo Enclosures.

The Amusement Park allows you to create massive leisure areas that stand out from above your

city due to the selection of big dedicated assets such as the Ferris Wheel, Rollercoaster

and Drop Tower Ride.

To create a park, you first need to define a Park Area.

You can do this just like you define a District, using the Park Area tool provided in the Districts tab.

Park Areas and Districts are independent, which means you can draw a park on top of

an existing District without losing the Policies already applied to that District.

This is great if you want to combine features of both elements, such as creating an Amusement

Park in the middle of a commercial district with the Leisure Specialization, for example.

To get all the benefits Park Areas have to offer, you need to place a Main Gate.

Placing a Main Gate allows you to define the type of your park and enables level progression,

visitor count and ticket income.

The Main Gate also handles all necessary city service traffic coming from your road network,

so park buildings inside your Park Area don't need a direct road connection.

Park Areas can also function without a Main Gate, benefiting from a small boost in Happiness

and Land Value, but they won't have access to these features and all buildings will then

require regular road access.

Park buildings inside the Park Area only require path access, an extremely convenient feature

that is complemented with the addition of four new different paths to the already existing

cement pedestrian pathway.

Main Gates come in two different sizes for different sized parks.

You can only place one Main Gate per Park Area, but you can use Side Gates to add extra entrances.

Main Gates will set fireworks every week at night time.

Park Areas start at level 1 as soon as you place the Main Gate and can go up all the

way to level 5.

They level up by having a certain amount of people visiting them, as well as reaching

a certain Entertainment value.

Entertainment value is measured by the amount of park buildings inside your Park Area and

the higher it is, the more people will visit.

Higher levels unlock more buildings you can use to decorate your park and reach even higher levels.

In other words, the more attractive your park is, the more visitors it will get.

Besides park-buildings, Parklife also provides you with props.

Props are decorative elements such as vending machines and signs that don't require road

or path access and can be placed anywhere.

People will not interact with them as they interact with normal parks, but they do add

Entertainment to your Park Area and allow for further customization.

You can see how much park-buildings and props contribute to your Entertainment value by

checking the information in purple in the building description.

Old parks that were previously in the game are also updated with this feature, meaning

you can use them to increase the Entertainment value of your Park Area as well.

Also, despite each Park Area type coming with its different selection of assets and paths,

you can totally mix them up and create a park with its own unique style.

It's all up to you.

However, higher levels provide attractiveness bonuses to buildings that match the Park Area's

type, so that's something to keep in mind.

Another thing to keep in mind is that placing more than one of the same type of park building

will reduce the Entertainment value they give for each additional building, so it's a

good idea to add different types of buildings, props, trees, rocks and vegetation.

You heard right: when placed inside Park Areas, trees, rocks and vegetation will provide Entertainment.

These are a cost-efficient way of boosting your Park Area's value as they don't have

upkeep costs.

There is, however, a limit for how much Entertainment you can get from these, as well as another

reason to be careful with trees on Park Areas that I will mention towards the end of the video.

Since leveling is related to attractiveness, the bigger a Park Area is, the easier to get

to level 5, simply because there's more room to place buildings that raise the Entertainment value.

It's unreasonable to expect small filler parks to get to max level.

I've managed to get all 4 different types of Park Areas to level 5 by giving them a

reasonable amount of room for expansion.

Clicking on a Park Area's name opens its overview, where you can check useful stats

such as the total number of visitors and Entertainment required to reach the next level, Park Area

Maintenance status and Policies.

Income and expenses information can also be checked here and you set tickets prices by

adjusting the slider.

The higher the price, the less people will visit, but the more money it will make per visitor.

The Overview window has a Policy tab, where you can set Policies exclusively for that

Park Area.

More on that later.

You can also access the stats and levels of all Park Areas in the city by clicking the

new Park Area Infoview, in the Views tab.

Parklife also released several features to complement Parks and Tourism.

One of them is a new City Service: Tours.

Tours are located in the Transportation menu, and there are currently three types of Tours:

Walking Tours, Sightseeing Bus Tours, and Hot Air Balloon Tours.

You can make a Tour just like you make a Public Transport line by placing stops along the

way and finish by connecting back to the first point, making a circular line.

While Public Transport is meant to carry people between home, work and shops, Tours are meant

for leisure, meaning you should place stops at points of interest such as parks or Unique Buildings

Walking Tours are, just as the name suggests, pedestrian tours, which means they go on top

of paths and sidewalks, ignoring traffic orientation.

People will walk the defined path to travel from stop to stop, and when going through

Park Areas, they will contribute to visitor count.

Walking Tours are thus a great way of increasing the total number of visitors in new Park Areas

to make them level up.

Because people don't like to walk long distances, short walking routes are preferred.

You can still make longer routes, but people may drop-off anywhere in the middle of the tour.

Sightseeing Bus Tours resort to double decker buses to transport people around.

They work very similar to regular bus lines as you need to place the Sightseeing Bus Depot

to make Tours.

You can then use the appropriate tool to select the stops and draw the route of the Tour.

Just like regular bus lines, Sightseeing Bus Tour lines need to be circular and create

a stop on the sidewalk of the roads where Sightseeing Buses will stop to pick up passengers.

They can be used to help people reach distant or isolated locations, such as a new shopping

district on the other corner of the city.

Unlike Walking Tours, Sightseeing Bus Tours generate income, meaning they can be a good

source of revenue if explored correctly.

The third and final type of Tour introduced in Parklife is the Hot Air Balloon Tour.

Unlike the Walking and Sightseeing Bus Tours, the Hot Air Balloon Tour doesn't require

the set up of lines or routes.

You simply place the Hot Air Balloon building and balloons will automatically wander on

top of your city.

Pretty simple!

Similarly to the previous types of tours, Hot Air Balloon Tours will work best when

its building is placed in an area of interest, which leads us to the next point regarding

Tours: the Appeal value of locations.

In order to plan efficient tours, the Appeal value of different areas must be considered.

By clicking on the new Tours Infoview, you will see a heatmap of the most appealing places

in the city.

Unique Buildings, Landmarks, Parks and Plazas contribute to increase the Appeal value as

well as do other natural characteristics of the terrain, such as trees, rocks or ruins.

Notice how the river shores are significantly more appealing?

Tours are most efficient when they have stops at points of interest because the higher the

Appeal value, the more likely tourists and citizens will chose the tour in question over

other attractions.

The Tours Infoview also shows you how many people are using each type of Tour and clicking

the magnifier icon will take you to the Lines Overview panel, where Tours have been added

and you can see how each individual route is performing.

You can see the Appeal value of individual lines and set ticket prices for Sightseeing

Bus Tours as well as the number of vehicles.

The second city service introduced in Parklife is Park Maintenance.

The Park Maintenance building located in the Parks and Plazas tab sends out vehicles that

will visit your city's parks and make them work more efficiently by giving a 20% boost

to their Happiness effect and radius.

The great thing about this feature is that Park Maintenance vehicles will not only visit

Park Areas, but also standard, ploppable parks, being a great way of increasing the overall

city's Happiness.

There is also a new Park Maintenance Infoview, located on the Views tab.

Unboosted parks are shown in green.

When visited by a Park Maintenance vehicle, they will turn purple, benefiting from that

sweet 20% bonus in Happiness effect and radius.

This effect will slowly decrease as time goes by and will eventually subside.

Park Maintenance vehicles will continuously visit your parks across the city, boosting

them when necessary.

There's also a new City Policy regarding Park Maintenance.

Speaking of these, Parklife introduced 3 new City Policies as well as 8 Park Area exclusive Policies.

City Policies can be set to the entire city or to specific Districts.

They are Prefer Parks, Park Maintenance Boost and Boost Connections.

Prefer Parks will make tourists prefer parks rather than Unique Buildings and Landmarks

in the area, which is great for increasing your Park Area's total number of visitors.

For a small fee, the Park Maintenance Boost Policy will make Park Maintenance vehicles

visit parks with twice the frequency, making sure they have the 20% happiness boost more often.

Boost Connections increase the capacity of your city's external connections, allowing

for more tourists to come into the city.

Park Area policies can be accessed in the Park Area's overview panel and they are

exclusive to that specific Park Area, allowing for greater customization.

Animal Ethics boosts the entertainment effect of Zoo buildings by 20%.

Advertisement Campaign will draw 20% more visitors to your Park Area for a small fixed cost.

Main Park will make tourists prefer the Park Area over other attractions in the city.

Fine for Fireworks will disable fireworks that are launched in the Main Gate of the

Park Area at night.

On the other hand, Celebrate will make the Main Gate set fireworks every night instead of just every week.

Night Tours draws 30% more visitors at night.

Even More Fun boosts the Entertainment effect of Amusement Parks buildings by 20%.

And finally, Recycle Garbage will decrease the generation of garbage in Nature Reserve

Buildings by 20%.

Just like other expansions, Parklife comes with new Unique Buildings and Maps.

There's six new Unique Buildings added into the game, one for each level tab, and all

of them grant useful bonuses for Tourism.

City Arch is the Level 1 Unique Building.

It can be placed on top of a road and increases the tourist capacity of all roads by 5%.

Clock Tower is the level 2 Unique Building.

This Big Ben look-alike will increase the speed of your trains by 20%.

The level 3 Unique Building is the Old Market Street.

Placing this gigantic rectangular Asset will increase the tax income of nearby Commercial

Zones by 5%, making it a great addition to your shopping districts.

At level 4 we have the Sea Fortress, which must be placed on the shoreline.

It will increase the Ship and Airport tourist capacity by 5%.

The Observation Tower is the level 5 Unique Building.

Placing it will increase the Happiness effect radius of all Parks and Plazas by 10%.

And finally, as the level 6 Unique Building, the Statue of Colossalus can be placed on

the shoreline tol increase the time tourists spend in your city by 20%.

Placing all these Unique Buildings in your city will unlock a new Monument: The Castle of Lord Chirpwick.

This Landmark will increase the attractiveness of all Unique Buildings by a whooping 25%.

Finally, there's five new Maps you can start a city in.

These are Mountain Meadows, Pine Rivers, Windfield, Cavern Coast, and Honu Island.

I cannot end this review before speaking about a feature that has been asked for years which

is the ability for Trees to reduce Noise Pollution.

The developers have heard us, and besides being great decorative elements, Trees now

have a logical purpose as you can use them to effectively separate your residential areas

from busy commercial blocks or metro stations.

Be careful with Trees in Park Areas thou.

They might add Entertainment value, but if you have the Natural Disasters DLC, fires

will quickly spread between trees and buildings.

In my experience, I haven't been able to make my fire trucks reach the Park Area buildings

because they don't have road access and Fire Helicopters only extinguish fires on trees.

Because of this, every time a Park Area building catches fire, the only option is to let it

burn, have the helicopters from the Disaster Response Unit search for survivors, so I can

then rebuild it manually.

This can be extremely annoying if you have a lot of buildings in your Park Areas and

I wished the developers had given this more thought.

Let me know if you've found a workaround this.

If you buy Parklife PLUS, for a slightly increased price you have access to the Country Road Radio

to listen to while playing the game.

Here's a sample of the kind of music you can expect that will hopefully help you decide

whether this feature is worth the additional cost.

The visuals that were rolling in the screen while the Country Road Radio was playing were

created with the new Cinematic Camera, which randomly follows people and cars in your city

for brief periods of time before switching to the next shot.

It's a nice addition, but besides having no control over what's recorded whatsoever,

the sudden visual shifts when the person it's following changes direction can make you dizzy.

Personally, I'll stick to modded camera versions to record my game cinematics.

Other extra features include the addition of new terrain props such as trees, vegetation

and rocks that you can use to decorate your city.

Remember that these elements add Entertainment value when placed inside Park Areas.

There's also new visual models for vehicles, animals and pedestrians, which serve no game

purpose other than aesthetics.

Finally, Parklife provides some tools for Modders and Asset Creators.

The Asset Editor now has a sub-mesh option, allowing for a specific Asset to change its

appearance during the game.

Notable examples of already existing buildings with this feature are Landfills, which look

different when they are full than when they are empty.

There's also new Scripting and Data APIS.

I'm not an experienced Asset Creator or Modder, so I'm probably not the best person

to review these features, but I will put some informational links in the video description

that you can refer to if interested.

And that's it for my Parklife review!

I hope it has been informative as well as enjoyable to watch.

Did I forget to mention anything important?

Please let me know.

I would love to know about your Parklife experience in the comments below.

You can also follow my let's play series and watch me play in my own city.

I hope to see you again soon for more Cities: Skylines videos.

Until then, have fun!
