Can you observe the speed of the train if you are inside the train to observe

you have to be outside .Can you observe the speed of the flight if you are

inside the flight to observe that speed you have to be outside the flight. If you

are a part of the process you cannot observe the process it is very difficult.

When we practice in front of the mirror we are trying to do the same thing .We are

in the process at the same time we are trying to observe the process which is

not possible, it is very difficult. That's why it's very important there has

to be someone else observing you. Mirror can't give you feedback. Most of the time

that someone else who is observing you from the outside is not available maybe

your friend your colleagues maybe someone else who can observe you they

are not there. But there is something which is there most of the time and

maybe that something is in your hand right now

you mobile. Yes next time when you have any presentation or talk or speech

instead of practicing in front of the mirror practice in front of camera. Record your

session and then there are three ways you can observe your video recording

first mute it just observe your body language 55 percent your body language

contributes towards effective communication observe it second don't

look at it just listen to it observe your vocal variety thirty eight

% vocal variety contributes towards effective communication and then observe

everything together and when you are observing all this make notes and next

time when you are doing a rehearsal or practice session again try to

implement these observations which you have observed as an outsider. So for your

next presentation OR next speech OR next talk stop practicing in front of the mirror

start practicing in front of camera. Hope you have liked this tip if you have, do

share with your friends and families and with everyone who wants to become a

leader in life because if you want to become a leader you have to separate

yourself from the crowd stand alone and speak this is Praveen Wadalkar signing

out until we meet again with a new tip

Economics chapter 6 (Public Expenditure vs Private Expenditure) - Duration: 6:17.

[Music]

[Music]

this video examines the nature of public

expenditure its purposes methods to

finance it government influences on the

private sector and comparisons between

the effectiveness of public expenditure

and private expenditure public

expenditure public expenditure is the

expenditure done by the public sector it

includes expenditure by the central

government and expenditure by the local

authorities or regional bodies and

state-owned enterprises there are two

broad categories of public expenditure

one is called exhaustive spending this

involves the public sector directly

buying goods and services such as buying

medical equipment paying the police and

building roads in this case the public

sector determines the use of resources

the other category is transfer of

payments transfers of money to people

for instance pensioners and the

unemployed and to firms in the form of

subsidies and grants this is non

exhaustive expenditure in this case the

government does not decide on the

allocation of resources the people and

firms receiving the financial support

make the decision through their

purchases government influence on

private sector expenditure the

government influences private sector

expenditure in a number of ways these

include taxing income and expenditure

providing subsidies giving grants

influencing the level of economic

activity private sector investment for

instance would be increased by the

introduction of government investment

grants a cut in corporation tax and a

cut in the rate of interest investment

grants would encourage private sector

firms to buy more capital goods a cut in

corporation tax will increase the

willingness and ability of firms to

invest a lower interest rate would

reduce the cost of borrowing to buy

capital goods

Vande would reduce the opportunity cost

of using retained profits to buy capital

goods

comparison of expenditures by public and

private sectors there is some debate as

to whether public or private sector

expenditure leads to a more efficient

allocation of resources do households

and firms make better decisions or the

government in practice there are

advantages and disadvantages of both

private and public sector expenditure

and new airport for instance could be

built by the private or public sector

there may be a number of advantages in

it being built by a private sector firm

the profit incentive and force of

competition may imply that it would aim

to build a high quality Airport at low

cost and in less time there is a risk

however that a private sector firm may

be a monopoly and hence may not be

forced to keep its costs low thus it may

charge a high price for building the

airport also a private sector firm will

also take only private costs and

benefits into account using public

expenditure to build an airport may also

have its own drawbacks knowing that the

state is paying a state-owned

enterprises or private sector firm hired

by the government may not keep its costs

down a state-owned enterprise may lack

the commercial expertise to complete the

project on time the may also he delays

in decision making by the government to

go ahead with the project a major

benefit however of a major investment

project being undertaken by the

government is that it will base its

decision as to whether to proceed with

it on the consideration of all factors

involved that is social impact costs and

benefits it is likely to carry out a

cost-benefit analysis CBA in the place

cost-benefit analysis involves measuring

all the costs and benefits involved in

the case of an airport the private costs

will involve the cost of the labor

employed to build and run the airport

and of the building material and

maintenance the major private revenue is

the money that will be earned after

measuring the private costs and benefits

the economists carry out

cost-benefit analysis then seek to place

a value on external costs and benefits

this is not an easy process the external

costs may include operation of the

airport damaged to the environment noise

due to risk of accidents and congestion

near the airport

the external benefits may include

employment in the area due to tourism

and making it a more attractive as a

site for domestic firms and

multinational corporations when all the

calculations have been made the social

costs and benefits are compared if

social costs exceed social benefits the

government will not proceed with the

project if social benefits exceed social

costs it will go ahead if the net social

benefit is greater than that on rival

projects there will still be a debate

however on whether it is the best use of

government money government expenditure

on one item always involves a

significant opportunity cost the money

could have been spent on for instance

education cost benefit analysis --tz-- a

method of assessing investment projects

which takes into account social cost and

benefits

Do's and Don'ts of Getting High in Public | We The Internet TV - Duration: 3:01.

New York Mayor, Bill de Blasio, has told the NYPD to stop arresting pot smokers.

But with great weed freedom comes great weed responsibility.

What might be a quality-of-life gain for New York's cannabis users

could be a quality-of-life loss for the rest of the Big Apple.

It's time for all you potheads out there to brush up on your weed etiquette.

Here are some Do's and Don'ts to help you get high without bothering passersby.

(music)

Roll your joints at home.

Don't do it in a bar or restaurant bathroom.

It's bad enough your friends are going to be unknowingly smoking poop particles,

but there's a line of people waiting outside to take a dump.

And take a bump.

So be considerate. And don't hog the john just because you keep forgetting to buy a one-hitter.

Once you're ready to smoke, take a walk around the block.

Don't smoke inside.

Yeah, the window might be open, but it still stinks in here.

It's in the carpet. It's in my clothes.

It's in my bed!

Yes, I do live in the studio.

And the only thing I want to smell when I'm asleep is the lavender sachet I keep under my pillow.

Hey Dogwalkers of New York, stop lighting up on the job.

You may think the best part of walking dogs for a living

(besides throwing ambition to the wind) is getting to be high all day.

But you have five animals and 8.5 Million New Yorkers relying on you to pick up that feces.

Because when I slip on street poop, I want it to belong to a homeless person.

Stop preaching at me. Please.

I get it, you love weed. Super! Wonderful! That's great!

But you want to go on and on about it like it's some miracle drug

Like it relieves pain, like it cures cancer.

Really? It cures cancer? Then why isn't it curing this conversation?

Figure out what you want before you get in line to order food.

Sober people can be hungry too, buddy.

And we're in a hurry. We've got places to go and things to do before we start drinking.

Stop pretending this is your first time at Shake Shack and just get the Smokeshack like you always do.

I have to admit that I kind of like it when I'm walking down the street and my nose catches the hint of weed,

and I'm like, "Hey, is somebody smoking?"

But it loses a little something for me when I'm like, "Wow, everyone is smoking."

If you see there's already a cipher, walk down another block or two so the whole street doesn't turn into a Wiz Khalifa concert.

Plus, I'd like to get an ice pop from the pushcart vendor without getting a contact high.

One last tip, the Manhattan DA just announced

his office would no longer be prosecuting people for public urination.

So if you do piss on the street, make sure you're not smoking weed while you do it.

Or, as we call it, taking a Wiz Khalifa.

You're making responsible smokers look bad.

What other advice do you have for public pot smokers?

The American Public Really Does Not Want To Go To War With Iran - Duration: 7:01.

Jonathan Ernst / Reuters The survey was taken after Trump tweeted an all-caps warning last weekend to Iran's president, Hassan Rouhani

Americans say by a more than two-to-one margin that they'd oppose going to war against Iran, a new HuffPost/YouGov survey finds

Just 23 percent of the public say they'd support the U.S. deciding to declare war on Iran, while the majority, 53 percent, oppose the idea

Just 9 percent would strongly support declaring war, while 37 percent are strongly opposed

Voters who backed Hillary Clinton in the last election are the most vehemently against the idea, with 82 percent opposed and just 6 percent in favor; non-voters are also opposed, 48 percent to 20 percent

Voters who backed President Donald Trump's campaign are more likely to support a war against Iran, but even among that group, backing remains below the majority level, with 47 percent saying they'd support declaring war, and 29 percent that they'd oppose it

The survey was taken after Trump tweeted an all-caps warning last weekend to Iran's president, Hassan Rouhani, that threatening the U

S. would end with him suffering "consequences the likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before

"  Trump "is certainly not going to tolerate the leader of Iran making threats against Americans, making threats against this country, making threats against Israel," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Monday

"This is a president who is going to stand up and make sure he is doing what is necessary

"  About 60 percent of Americans polled say they'd heard about Trump's tweet, although just 12 percent had seen it directly on Twitter, with the rest learning about it from the news

Perhaps as a result of that missive, nearly half the public says that Trump would support a declaration of war against Iran, with his opponents especially likely to believe that Trump has hawkish intent toward the nation

Forty-nine percent of Americans ― including three-quarters of Clinton voters, but just 29 percent of Trump voters ― say they believe Trump would support declaring war on Iran

Overall, 36 percent of Americans say they approve of Trump's handling of issues related to Iran, while 42 percent disapprove, and the rest is uncertain

That net -6 is slightly more positive than overall views of Trump's job performance

Polling earlier this year found decidedly mixed reactions to Trump's decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear agreement, with much of the public saying they hadn't paid the matter much close attention

Just 7 percent of Americans consider Iran to be friendly or an ally to the United States, with a third describing it as unfriendly; 38 percent believe Iran is an enemy of the U

S.   The HuffPost/YouGov poll consisted of 1,000 completed interviews conducted July 24-25 among U

S. adults using a sample selected from YouGov's opt-in online panel to match the demographics and other characteristics of the adult U

S. population.  HuffPost has teamed up with YouGov to conduct daily opinion polls

You can learn more about this project and take part in YouGov's nationally representative opinion polling

More details on the polls' methodology are available here.  Most surveys report a margin of error that represents some, but not all, potential survey errors

YouGov's reports include a model-based margin of error, which rests on a specific set of statistical assumptions about the selected sample rather than the standard methodology for random probability sampling

If these assumptions are wrong, the model-based margin of error may also be inaccurate

Public Affairs Experts (PAX) Talk 2018 by Kiroyan Partners - Duration: 1:25.

So, after these years we've realized that actually this is very much what public

affairs is all about, especially in Indonesian context.

In Indonesia, I think

public affairs is very much about building and maintaining relationships

with your stakeholders, with your key stakeholders in order to be able to

keep your social license to operate and smooth your business objectives.

So that's that's the angle that we're coming from

for public affairs in our view, which encompasses issues management

advocacy,

crisis management, litigation support, litigation communications,

stakeholder engagement,

stakeholders research, and things like that.

O Canna-bis! US marijuana companies go public in Canada - Duration: 3:33.

The Associated Press PORTLAND, United States — Green Thumb Industries had a business plan, expertise and plenty of ambition to grow its marijuana business

What the Chicago-based company didn't have was access to enough capital to make it all happen

So last month, the company with $20 million in revenue from pot shops in seven states turned its gaze north and went public in Canada, where marijuana soon will be broadly legalized nationwide

May also interest you: Trump recorded discussing paying for Playboy model's story The Canadian Securities Exchange is quickly becoming the go-to place for U

S. cannabis companies orphaned by their own stock exchanges because the U.S. government still considers marijuana an illegal drug

Green Thumb took over a publicly traded Canadian company, added an "Inc." to its name and went public

The company raised $67 million U.S. dollars, money that will allow Green Thumb to get licenses in new states and open more retail stores across America

"The phone rings more, we're talking to more people, and business has expanded," company founder Ben Kovler said

"We're just excited about what's happening." In recent months, prominent U.S. pot companies including MedMen, Liberty Health Care and Chalice Farms have listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange, raising capital and drawing attention from wealthy investors in Asia, Europe and Australia who want to make a play in the cannabis industry but are spooked by the U

S. federal prohibition. Many more U.S. marijuana companies are lined up to join them as the U

S. industry quickly expands. Acreage Holdings, one of the United States' largest vertically integrated cannabis companies, announced Monday it will list on the Canadian Securities Exchange this fall because it's become the "exchange of choice for U

S. companies like ours." Two-thirds of U.S. states now allow medical marijuana, and nine of them and Washington, D

C., have legalized recreational use. Last month, voters in Oklahoma approved medical marijuana, further evidence of the eroding opposition even in conservative states

Barack Obama's $48 Million Secret Goes PUBLIC – This Is the End - Duration: 11:57.

Barack Obama's $48 Million Secret Goes PUBLIC – This Is the End

Barack Obama is undoubtedly in full panic mode right now as his nasty $48 million secret

has leaked to the public.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that two sources have just come forward to say that

in the final days of Obama's administration, a $48 million State Department grant to a

for-profit company for IED and other bomb removal services in Syria was rushed for approval.

Just a few weeks into Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's tenure, this grant is receiving

new internal State Department scrutiny as U.S. government officials try to flag key

areas of concern that the new secretary can address.

This kind of bombing and ordnance removal is known for being extremely dangerous, but

also a very necessary for the safety of returning communities displaced by the Islamic State

in Iraq and Syria.

The sources said that the grant was given to Tetra Tech, an engineering services company

that specializes in construction management and has much more limited experience in munitions

and ordnance clearance than Janus and other foreign NGOs such as HALO Trust and for-profit

companies such as Optima.

The sources explained that officials in the U.S. State Department's PMWRA office worked

to expedite a start date for Tetra Tech's IED removal grant before Jan. 19, 2017, the

day before President Trump was inaugurated.

"There was a mad dash in the PMWRA and NEA bureaus to get this done by Jan. 19," said

one source familiar with the internal State Department effort.

"They got the grant funded by Dec. 29, 2016, and then got the internal paperwork finished

by Jan.19, working in theater with the NEA regional bureau to lock this in."

Patrick Kernan, a government contracting attorney who previously served as the chief of contract

fiscal law for the Multinational Force in Iraq as a U.S. Army Judge Advocate General,

said that a State Department agency providing a grant to a large, for-profit company is

unusual and raises legal red flags.

He explains that whether any laws were broken depends on internal paperwork and whether

the officials involved precisely followed all the agency's grant rules.

"[It] sounds like a way to circumvent the strict sole-source contracting rules by pushing

money into a grant process," which provides far less oversight than the regular contracts,

he said in an email.

"It sounds like a pretty broad problem that needs some legislation to fix."

Seth Rogen to be the new voice of Vancouver public transit - Duration: 2:21.

Never underestimate the power of a social media campaign. TransLink BC, the public transportation system in Vancouver, British Columbia, announced Thursday that actor Seth Rogen will lend his voice to announcements -- an initiative born from a social media request

The campaign to get Rogen involved began in May, days before plans to have Morgan Freeman become the voice of the system were scrapped

Stephanie Ip, a reporter for The Province and the Vancouver Sun, tweeted that Rogen, a Vancouver native, was better suited to the role

Lots of emails today were along the lines of: "What, there wasn't a Canadian actor who could've done the job?" After some thought, I do have a suggestion: @Sethrogen

I would happily listen to him announce my transit stops all day, every day BUT ONLY IF IT COMES WITH THE LAUGH

https://t.co/o0v5FWlocj— Stephanie Ip (@stephanie_ip) May 23, 2018  Rogen responded that he was game

Yo if they need a replacement now let me know.— Seth Rogen (@Sethrogen) May 24, 2018  TransLink BC took it from there, tweeting at Rogen "thanks for the offer" and to send them a private message for details

Rogen wrote back "hit me up."  In a promotional video by TransLink BC, Rogen says "any opportunity to enrich the lives of the Canadian people is an opportunity I will take

"  Seth Rogen – A Guest Voice on Transit by TransLink on YouTube  Rogen's voice will now be blasted over Vancouver public transit, saying things like, "Hey Vancouver, it's Seth

Here's a tip to make your transit ride even more awesome: I know your bag is probably very nice and you care deeply for it

But that doesn't mean it needs own seat." Rogen said he grew up taking public transit, and still takes it when he is in Vancouver

He agreed to do the announcements for free and TransLink BC paid for the studio time and editing services

Rogen wrote the announcements, which are about etiquette.
