The Ridge wallet it began with a successful crowdfunding campaign some years ago and here I take a look at its latest iteration

This is the titanium Ridge wallet, which you can get in black, gunmetal or the one I have here, which is described as burnt titanium

You can also get the ridge wallet and a choice of aluminium

finishes which cost a little less, or you can get a real carbon fiber Ridge wallet which costs a little more than this one

I specifically wanted to show you this exact build the burnt titanium with cash strap option instead of the money clip

I couldn't get the cash strap with this design from Ridge wallet as they'd sold out

So it's obviously a popular combination. This wallet was sent to me from Mukama in Finland in return for an honest review

I put a link to their product page in the description. It's not an affiliate link. It's just for your information

direct to a trusted authorised reseller. It was helpful to me as I got this sent to me in the UK Next Day Delivery

In the past when I've ordered items from America instead. I've incurred custom charges and delays

So how cool is this? They give you a nifty Torx screwdriver.

You need this if you ever want to change or replace the expandable elastic track

That's the piece that keeps tension on your cards to hold them in place

We'll take the wallet apart with this in a moment

I'll show you the Ridge wallet, it's construction,

how to change the elastic track ,and offer a top tip for modifying your wallet to make it more practical to use

Let's take a look at a ridge wallet's finish plates

It's hand torched and hardened Grade five titanium. Of all of the wallets

I've featured this one definitely looks the most impressive

I've seen well-used Ridge wallets in this titanium finish where they're a little scratched up which makes them look even better

It adds character and reminds you you've bought something that will last

Taking a look at its basic function- cards are pushed out like this

Placing the ones you use the most at the top or the bottom of the pile

This part here is so that they can only be ejected on one side which helps keep them seated tidily. The elastic track keeps

firm pressure to hold your cards securely. It works well

It holds 1 to 12 cards. The ridge wallet blocks RFID

preventing wireless theft of your cards data. On the back an external strap for cash, receipts, or anything else that fits

The Ridge wallet will hold 1 to 12 cards in the center section here

I'm placing 8 cards. One flat card and seven with embossed writing

If you put too many embossed bank cards in the ridge wallet, you will end up with something that resembles an accordion

They are held securely, but it's not great

What you'll want to do is take them out and reshuffle them so that they're organized better

here we see all of the writing on the same side of the cards. Rotator a couple so that it's better balanced put them back and

even with a big stack of cards like this. It solves that problem

When you use the recess to push your cards forwards

It can be tricky to get at the ones in the middle quickly

You could pull all of the cards forward a little and then pinch the bottom of the wallet which fans the cards out

The Ridge wallet has a tapered edge which makes pushing cards in a lot easier than taking them out

This means you don't have to prise the wallet apart like you saw me doing earlier

This way is a lot better.

On the reverse of the wallet you have a choice of a metal money clip or an elastic cash strap

The cash strap gives you a thinner wallet, and I think it looks better

However, the addition of the metal buckle called the cash strap plate makes it really difficult for me to find anywhere to grab hold of it

You almost need to have three hands to lift it and push some cash in here

Imagine trying to do this with a handful of groceries

I'd give it a six out of ten for practicality

It doesn't make it any less desirable. If you're going for a minimalist wallet you sometimes have to expect some compromises.

I can see why they may have this buckle

If you look at the reverse of the cash strap you can see it's got little rubber feet

The buckle helps put a uniform pressure on all the rubber grips and your cash is very secure when it's in place

You can't give me a screwdriver and expect me not to take this apart so

let's see the Ridge wallets component parts and how to change the cash strap

There are seven stainless steel t5 screws on both sides of your Ridge wallet be warned

You don't get any spares and if you drop one of these suckers, you're not going to find it again

You can get spare screws sold separately

With one finish plate removed you can see the channel that the elastic sits in.

With some of these minimalist wallets, you don't always get much more than a stretchy band wrapped around some kind of fascia plate

Which I don't consider a wallet at all

You may as well just buy an elastic band

But there's some real engineering and thought which has gone into the Ridge wallet, giving you a special product

So with the titanium plates removed, we see the two aluminium rfid blocking plates

Removing the strap is easy now if you need to replace it. Notice this outer loop

of the cash strap would not be present if you ordered your Ridge wallet instead with the optional money clip.

I promised you a top tip. With the cash strap removed. You may want to remove the pesky metal buckle

I'm not sure if the ridge wallet always came with this buckle. I've seen pictures and older online reviews where it's not present

You can see it's designed with a gap at each end which enables the strap to be pushed through

Assembly is just the reverse of taking it apart

I've seen the cash strap pushed under the finishing plate before reassembly, but this will make a bulge and I don't recommend that.

So as you might have guessed I've reassemble my Ridge wallet with the buckle removed

I think it looks less fussy and it's a bit flatter, too

Now you can see it can be lifted easily and if I try and put some cash in it's a lot easier than before

I'll give the ridge wallet a 9/10 for value. As not everyone will have one of these. It's a unique piece of pocket bling

Sketchbook flip through + Review 🌿/ 2017 - 2018 - Duration: 10:24.

It is so hard to record an intro,

I am not sure how to start, so

I will just start.

Today I am filming a sketchbook tour of this notebook

It a moleskine sketchbook, my sister gave it to me as a birthday gift last year

It is a watercolor sketchbook but I think that the surface of its paper was so smooth for me,

so it didn't work very well when it comes to the techniques i use,

there are even still some empty pages that I don't plan to fill

I think that it's the kind of sketchbook that you need to try out before judging because it acts differently

depending on the techniques and type of colors you use

but from my personal experience I find that there is a wide variety of better brands and quality that I prefer to use

Lets start!

These are the stickers i made out of the sketches I did in inktober

This page is ripped out because I took the side ocean painting and frame it

In here,I was practicing on coloring and shading the white parts thats why I picked seagulls

Those are the stranger things postcards

Here I was trying out these stamps I bought, how it works on top of sketches and paintings

more stamps, more practice on white spaces

This was a study on how to paint the glow of sun, I followed the steps from an art book about watercolors

Painting it was a blast

another study from an art book, and still using stamps

Practicing how to paint whites again, it is actually really hard but i always have fun experimenting different shades to represent the white objects

Some field study,

this is acrylic paints, and it works really well in this sketchbook, the paper doesn't buckle even though i used a fair amount of water

This a painting by Claude monet I recreated using watercolours, I think it's called " women on the river or on the boat"

I was still working on painting whites and creating shadows and reflections

some sky and cloud studies

I think this is my favorite, I admire the colors in it

In here is started doing some flower sketches and studies, I was into painting using limited color palette

those sketches actually are now a collection of postcards/mini prints availble on my shop

In here i was using the sponge technique, you can really create beautiful effect with it especially when painting flowers

I might considering doing a tutorial maybe on how to use it, IT's really fun and easy way to paint flowers buT I never ended up using it again hehe

I prefer using brush to paint

This sketch is now a available as tote bag + postcard

I foung this amazing photograph on pinterest and I really loved the vibrancy in colors so i sketch it using watercolors

and this is a monstera sketch, i was into using greens at that time

This is the view from the harbor near where we live, I was waiting my ship ride when I drew this

When I did this It has been a while since I painted out, so I only made a rough pencil sketch there and i painted it later at home

That explains the exaggerating in colors, it definitely was not as bright and colorful in real life haha

We went to this place called "Buyuk ada" its a very beautiful island and you just feel like sketching everything

The reference photo are from Pinterest, again

I tried painting some figures and I chose ballet dancers, As you can see i am using the stamps again

Sketching the moon and night sky, its a famous illustration i found on pinterest, It's not mine I just repainted it

If i am recreating any painting that is online and that is not originally mine, i only make it to practice and study colors, i don't claim that they are mine

I tried sketching our cats, Elvis and Bulut. The sketch was never done haha

I think this is the last page I did in this sketchbook

hey guys what's the best cordless hot glue gun to use in your cosplay built

welcome to dishes and stitches I'm your host Charles Stark every week we bring

you healthy recipes cosplay tips and tricks and general life hacks to help

you make healthier decisions for that cosplay lifestyle today we're going to

be talking about the freo b1 plus cordless hot glue gun this thing is

awesome it was a gift for my birthday and my buddy gave it to us and so today

we're gonna put it to the test we're gonna cut shoulder piece we're gonna

charge this bad boy up and we're gonna see what it's capable

all right so now that we got it out of the package let's put the battery in and

let's see what this bad boy can do this takes a standard lithium 18 volt battery

just like you would find on a cordless drill any right you'll be tool they all

use the same back so put the battery in and here's the red light we're going to

think this up I'm gonna grab a glue stick while that is heating up we are

going to take a piece of PVA foam and we're gonna go ahead and we're gonna

draw out a shoulder template so let me cut this up while it's heating up I'll

trace this out and then we'll go ahead and glue it together see how she works

so we notice right away when we were getting the gun ready is that these take

all purpose high adhesive glue sticks these are the large one it's gonna go

right in here backwards now it looks like that it can heat the glue

all the way up to 400 degrees so just like a regular glue gun it's gonna get

pretty hot and it looks like it's smoked until the seconds looks like it's

working so we're gonna zoom in here so you can watch me transfer this shoulder

template over to the EBA foam and then we'll cut it out and we'll glue it

together and see how see how the glue gun works so we went ahead and cut out

our shoulder template real quick I'm just gonna show you how to transfer a

paper template to easy all right we're just gonna outline it

like this and then I went ahead ahead of time and I put the tick mark down what

you want to go ahead and transfer these ticks because this is what we're gonna

cut out and then we're going to glue together to make the shoulder piece

there we go go ahead and cut this up all right and now we have our template cut

out guys if you want all the information on the specifications and the tech specs

on the gun go ahead and make sure you check it out in the description we've

got links there to product reviews and more information at any time during the

video you can go ahead and check that out but now we've got this cut out we

put out our little bend here but we're just gonna go ahead and put this baby to

the test so let's see what she's got we're gonna go ahead and glue from the

inside that way it gives us a little tougher seal

I'm just gonna go ahead and wait for that to dry up but Manon look like it

worked really well was nice and smooth I had good action took a little bit for

the gun to get primed though but once we got it going and once the stick melted

and it reached temperature about 400 degrees it came right out no mess well

I'll tell you what while that dries I'll let you know I can definitely see how

this would be a huge benefit to carry one of these with you in your cosplay

repair kit in your tools of the trade kit in fact you can check out all the

other items that we carry and ours and the links down below so this is really

convenient it's really light I can definitely tell you though that I can

see a problem with the charger the charger is very large it's almost as big

as the gun and it's really bulky doing some research I found out that it takes

about 30 to 45 minutes to get a full charge the battery only runs about 30

minutes you're definitely gonna want to stock up on batteries if you have their

cordless drill that I can see where a cordless glue gun like this would

definitely be a big benefit awesome convenience a lot of fun to use and will

have a lot of fun using this in our workshop well hey what kind of glue guns

you know you guys ever been in a situation that you're at work and you're

doing your job and you come to work every fucking day and you give it your

all every day and you go that extra mile that's your job you clock in on time

you're never late you come into work you do what you got to do you go the extra

mile you never complain you just come in and do what you got to do you have a

fucking great position right and in walks this employee and the boss starts

giving this employee special treatment starts giving this employee a raise

gives this employee days off every week or gives this employee just special

treatment and this special employee gets the spotlight over you that you've been

busting your ass all year long trying to get that raise or that promotion or even

a fucking think they thank you from your boss but in walks this associate that

hasn't been with the company that long or just walked in back from I don't know

an injury and in walks this this associate and this employee and starts

getting special treatment while you're sitting there busting your

ass don't get a fucking raise for two or three years come in the wor o'clock in

on time do what you need to do but in walks this associate and it's late

everyday and doesn't do as much as you are doing but this associate gets

special treatment and gets the raises and gets the fucking promotion when

you're there week in and week out day in and day

putting in your fucking work and you don't get squats well that's exactly

what happened last night on Smackdown live poor Becky Lynch Becky Lynch has

put herself in a position to fight for the Smackdown Live Women's Championship

all the spotlight was on her she was going to go into wrestle into SummerSlam

and challenge carmella for the smackdown live Women's Championship the percentage

of her winning the Smackdown life title was very high but in walks and returns

from a two-month absence Charlotte Flair to come and steal poor Becky Lynch is

spotlight to get inserted into this fucking women's Smackdown live

championship match at SummerSlam after Charlotte Flair has been out for two

fucking months hasn't done shit on the show and just gets granted this title

shot at SummerSlam took all the spotlight away from Becky Lynch after

Becky Lynch busted her ass for the last two months trying to get back at that

platform that she once was just to have Charlotte Flair come back and rain on

her fucking parade the chances of Becky Lynch winning the Smackdown live title

Women's Championship at some slam was dis hi and as soon as Charlotte

Flair showed her fuckin ass last night on Smackdown live the percentage went

down because now it's a triple threat match now Becky Lynch has to fight two

competitors instead of one and everyone is talking about this how the fuck does

Charlotte Flair not be on television for two months shows up and automatically

automatically gets inserted into the smackdown live Women's Championship

match at SummerSlam to make it a triple threat match now who is Charlotte Flair

I granted she is Ric Flair's daughter that's why she's getting the special

treatment but I'm starting to think that she is the women's version of Roman

reigns people okay because this woman has got an opportunity after opportunity

after opportunity after opportunity can we give someone else an opportunity

on that fucking show Becky Lynch had all the spotlight on her and now that

spotlight has been taken away from the from the women's version of Roman reigns

Charlotte Flair has main event of WrestleManias she's been a smackdown

live champion she's been a fucking Monday Night Raw Women's Champion she's

fucking main event at Hell in a Cell the first-ever Hell in a Cell match okay

she's been in the fucking first-ever ladders women's match can we give

someone else an opportunity can we give someone else the spotlight but this

woman has to come back and take poor Becky Lynch's spotlight away from her

granted we have this fucking war Women's pay-per-view coming right evolution

right and you got Charlotte you got Ric Flair promoting this all to k-19

exclusive video game coming out right a exclusive edition of the 2k 19 video

game right so Flair's name is going to be behind that video game so WWE

marketing wise will like Charlotte Flair to be in the main event scene because it

is fucking video game coming out but besides that

Becky Lynch everyone loves Becky Lynch Becky Lynch has fought her ass ever

since she's been up cold been called up to the main roster she hasn't had a

fucking title shot in over two fucking years I think even three years Becky

Lynch hasn't had a smackdown life title match she's a fucking great wrestler in

the ring she had the spotlight and to have

someone come from out of nowhere to take her spotlight away from her now we have

this all women's pay-per-view coming up evolution right you would think WWE

wants Charlotte Flair to main event that she'll write because you know she's the

women version of Roman reigns she has to be in the forefront of every fucking

thing just like fucking Roman reigns no one else on that fucking brand is gonna

get an opportunity when you have Charlotte Flair on the brand and then

you got Roman reigns on Monday Night Raw no one else gets an opportunity no one

else's gets an opportunity Becky Lynch is the women's version of fucking finn

bálor right now or the women's version of steph rollins steph Rollins has

busted his ass week in and week out five star match after five star match and

what does he get he gets shit that's what he gets

Roman reigns don't do shit on Monday nitro but get booed out the fucking

building weekend and week out and he gets granted everything

same thing with fucking Charlotte Fair and I granted Charlotte Flair doesn't

get booed as much as Roman reigns but she does get opportunity after

opportunity after opportunity poor Becky Lynch last night she must have been

disgusted inside when she saw Charlotte Flair return last night and to take her

spotlight away from her to take Becky Lynch his spotlight away from her after

Becky Lynch has busted her ass for the entire year to get to this point and

being a main match at SummerSlam title match at SummerSlam now it's going

to be a triple threat match triple threat match because WWE loves doing

triple threat matches right they got to get everybody on the fucking goddamn

card with these triple threat match and multi-man matches I'm gonna play the

promo with Becky Lynch and Carmela's ass then Charlotte Flair returns from her

injury to steal piglets spotlight so long for something sometimes you doubt

that it's ever gonna happen and I certainly did that but I knew that if I

kept pushing eventually always going to get back to where I wanted to be but

here here are some disheartening facts for you

I haven't been to smack their live Women's Champion since December 2016

2005 happy that had a title match since WrestleMania 33 which was almost a year

and a half ago three years people last week when I'd be carmela one of the best

women wrestlers on the roster where you better than carmella thinking about what

it means to be the smackdown live Women's Champion and it is it is the

honor

thank you mrs. grace wait the pressure of knowing that you have a target on

your back and knowing that you have to fight mind body and soul every week to

defend our title or you will lose it create on the mind

I wasn't born to be a champion I thought Carmela it's a Smackdown why would this

happen this would make any sense I'd comb

SummerSlam I will fight my body and soul to be

Carmela and it will be my honor to walk into WWE evolution the first I hope so I

hope so we should be building each other up here is Carmelo trying to sugarcoat

everything

next II they told me I would only ever be a manager and just a girl but you she

starts getting emotional but she's wearing a mask at the same time and

through everything clearly the WW naver's has always loved

I tried so hard every single day to block out all the haters on social media

the biggest match of my career against someone I've always looked up to I could

not be more excited I mean come on ahead of me I thought she was turning babyface

the house down she's making it seem like this is the biggest match of her fucking

career is she a bimbo or she a fucking blonde I don't know what is she this is

gonna be the biggest match of her fucking career are you fucking kidding

me honey I think the biggest match of your

career was when you fought fucking Charlotte Flair to win the fucking

smackdown live Women's Championship but that was the biggest match of your

career or when you fought Oscar that was one of the biggest matches of your

career but you're the Smackdown Live Women's Champion you're facing Becky

Lynch Becky Lynch granted she is great but she's no Charlotte Flair or Oscar so

this is not the biggest match of your career

it's like David versus Goliath she's trying to make a scene she goes to shake

her hand pecking at his hand and Beckman's doesn't wanna shake her hand

and then James Ellsworth music hits Becky Lynch is looking at all like it's

all for coming back again Carmela attacks Becky Lynch from behind

superkick sir and then here comes the woman's version of Roman reigns to steal

the spotlight Charlotte Flair comes back from her boob injury or whatever it's

all fucking agree she comes spotlight has shifted to Charlotte Flair at this

moment completely bearing whatever Becky Lynch did for the last two months so if

there comes suplex Carmela

everyone's happy to see Charlotte Flair no one gives two fucks about Becky Lynch

anymore Charlotte Flair goes to Becky Lynch to see if she's okay checks on her

Becky and she's like what the fuck are you doing back and stealing my spotlight

that's the type of look she gave her the segment ends and blues music plays

at WrestleMania triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship that

one WWE is uncreated they have nothing for these wrestler

just stick them and these meaningless fucking multi-man matches because they

have nothing behind these storylines nothing creatively for these wrestlers

so they just put him in multi-man matches that's gonna happen SummerSlam

is gonna be the multi man Summer Slam event that's what they should call it

the multi man SummerSlam pay-per-view because that's what's going to happen

guaranteed moving on we had a match between the bar and the Usos the winner

will face the new day next week in the finals in this tag team trip our tag

team tournament right Rousseau's versus the bar was the best match of the night

it wasn't a five-star match but it was close to five it was close to four I

would say this was a pretty good day of tag-team match man and the bar came back

after they haven't been seen in months the bar hasn't been seen on television

for months for months and they get a win over the Usos the Usos have been busting

their ass weekend and we got another another great fucking case over here of

someone getting favoritism here and getting a push after they haven't been

on scene on television for fucking months right the bar the bar has been

tag-team champions how many times six fucking times every fucking time raw tag

a great match but I mean Selena Vega her first in-ring

match she beat Lana then in the back Alana goes and confronts rusev saying

that she's disappointed that rusev didn't have her back in the match

between Selena Vega

look in an English thing I'm sorry thinking about getting space and

everything but I saw a game and I wanted to help I wanted to do the right thing

the right thing to do would be to even go look I swear it was an accident

you okay that would have never happened if I was out there

I understand that you need to figure out what's best for a lucid boy you need a

break and you need to figure it out ah but the truth is that Lana needed you

and I could have really used you out there tonight so Lana disappointed that

her husband wasn't there to have her back Lana accent needs to come back Lana

thought accident is god-awful her accent needs to stay on her

permanently just saying so it looks like we're gonna be having a match between

rusev versus ain't in English at SummerSlam at this this is what it looks

like it's starting to go go go down the road - Lana I thought originally it was

gonna be a drama see anomalies we're from Selena Vega versus um Lana and

rusev but I don't think that's the case anymore because the storyline continuing

didn't happen when we saw those two lock horns last week so I don't know where

they're gonna go with this either it's gonna be rusev versus in English or it's

gonna be rusev versus our on-the-scene armies or is gonna be a mixed Mack

challenge I've drawn the tsunamis with Selena Vega and rusev and Lana I don't

know what's gonna happen but wait this is shaping up to be with a none English

always interfering and costing rusev or Ilana match it looks like it's gonna be

rusev and in English and then one on one match and they're gonna take in an

English away from rusev that's just my opinion well renowned we had the match

finally finally announced the Miz versus the day versus Daniel Bryan's Daniel

Bryan challenges the maze at SummerSlam obviously I wish this would have been

painted a different way I wish the Miz would have won the Money in the Bank

ladder match didn't have a Daniel Bryan face AJ Styles at SummerSlam AJ Styles

beats I mean I'm sorry Daniel Bryan beats AJ Styles 4wv

championship then the mist comes in and in his Money in the Bank briefcase on

Daniel Bryan then setting up a match with Daniel Bryan versus the Meza

WrestleMania that didn't happen obviously braun strowman won the fucking

money in the Bank ladder match so now WWE is gonna push this match and

rush this match that should have been a WrestleMania match they're gonna rush it

at SummerSlam the build to this match has been fucking

horrendous okay with the fake baby segment last week

that the midst of the fucking fake baby on Daniel Bryan

it was fucking horrendous I mean I don't I don't like the build to this match I

think this match could be built better and have a better storyline behind it

but it does right now the storyline and the bill for this is making me not care

about this match the way I would have cared about it if it was a WrestleMania

match with plenty of time to build it but the way it's being built I mean I

think it's lazy booking to be honest with you I think is being rushed and

it's being wasted at SummerSlam here is the promo with the

Miz and Daniel Bryan Daniel Bryan calling

out the Miz and want to get that SummerSlam because he felt this

protective wall because I was not cleared to compete

he thought the things that he said and did wouldn't haunt him and that he would

be safe but then I was cleared

and that protective wall came crumbling down so what did he do what lengths did

he go - he brought his wife out to the rain

he brought what I thought was his very own baby strapped to his chest to the

ring why to build a wall between us to protect himself because he knows and if

he and I were to ever get in a fair fight I would destroy the bins

if you think I won't come out here and prove it

we're way way so there we have it a match between Daniel Bryant and the Mays

pretty much confirmed at SummerSlam I wish they would have waited a little

while I wish they would have pushed this match towards Wrestlemania but they're

not they're rushing it and they're trying to build it the best they can

with two and a half weeks to go or three weeks to go for SummerSlam so hopefully

they continue to build it and get build it the right way four people will really

really really care about this match but that's gonna do it all for me guys this
