Reviewed, I'd love to know
That's about it. Don't get hit the notification bell and let's get ready start. Okay, so
Bling-bling is a pink shimmery shade
Hush, hush is a matte taupe. It's a purple tone taupe
Gem is a gorgeous royal purple with shimmer
Pizzazz is a shimmery maroon color
Mystic is a deep plum matte
Sparks is a kind of mid-tone maroon matte shade
Glitz and glam is a deep pink with gold and remain their silver reflex
Rock star is a matte plum allsey is a really unique kind of like purplish
undertone shimmery pink color and
Bury treasure is a dark dark grey with sort of like reddish reflex in it
Okay, so as per usual we're going to basically go lightest to darkest I once again forgot to get
my color switch out, so
Most of my brushes are kind of dirty
I haven't had a chance to wash them yet because I've been doing like back-to-back reviews of these palettes
But we are going to go in first with hush-hush
it's like a
Gray toned mob and I think I might do one of those types of cut creases that I do that goes straight over
so hopefully we'll get to use a lot of colors that way and I'm just going to this is a morphe m4 33 and
I'm just gonna start
to
buff that color into the crease
Kind of in this motion
Waiting it out slightly towards the brow
So you guys will have to let me know in the comments section what palette combination colors like what color combo is your favorite
I think it is pretty genius that
Each one of these palettes has kind of its own color story. I think that's a super smart marketing technique
And I don't know it kind of reminds me of the Kylie cosmetics
9 pan palettes that have those sort of like
Different color stories. I think this was actually super genius and to make them affordable and to sell them in an affordable
Pack in the vault collection, I think was just smart. I think was smart from a marketing standpoint
It made it accessible to people but it also
Gives a lot of options depending on what kind of color eyeshadows you like to wear
So again similarly to the other palettes that we have reviewed. This color is blending really nicely
But it does take some work to blend or to build it up
This has been pretty much the exact same for every palette in the vault so far. Is these lighter?
Transition shades just take a little time to build up. But the nice thing is they layer well and
As long as you don't mind spending a little extra time building you can get a pretty nice end results
okay, so now we're gonna jump in with a
More tapered blending brush. I know I've been using a lot of the same brushes throughout this review series
But these are just really my favorite brushes and these are the brushes. I love to use
So inevitably I'm going to use the brushes
I like if I can find alright, so we are going to begin to deepen up that crease
I'm gonna go in with spark, which is a matte maroon color
That definitely has some pigment right off the bat this that's not something that I've been seeing a whole lot of in the vault is
mattes that really just
Pack the pigment on right away. So that is kind of a new experience
and a
Definitely good one this it's what you want from mattes
As long as they blend out if they can be that pigmented right off the bat like more power to them
So I would say use that one with a light hand because you don't I kind of I went in with a bit of a
heavy hand I dipped into the pan quite a bit because
I've been used to the other pallets having to build and
that one really the pigmentation kind of
Exploded right off the bat. So just be aware you
Might want to spend a little bit more time building that one so that you don't get patching this
So when you use this with a lighter hand you have a little bit more control of
How quickly you build up so just kind of be aware of that with that shade
You might want to start a little softer and go from there. Okay, so that is what we have so far
Not too bad. Now. I'm gonna go in with the Kylie cosmetics blending brush again. This is it's so lightly more
actually
On second thought I'm gonna go to the e 17 by morphe because I wanna be a little bit more precise
And let's see. I think I'm gonna take mystic
which is an even darker matte plum shade, and I'm just going to
Buff that
Even closer to the mobile lid kind of like right into where the eye folds you
Want to make sure that area is dark if you're doing a cut crease
because that's where your contrast is going to be and that's something I really continue to work on with my cut creases is just
Making sure there's enough contrast. So it really pops
So again, that one had good pigment off the bat these are a tiny bit patchy
I'm not going to say they blend like the easiest thing in the world
but
They're definitely workable and I think as long as you build slowly because there is a lot of pigment right off the bat
but if you see
hopefully you guys can tell there is a decent amount of
Patching is there as I blend the shades
Anytime you're using a more dense precise brush like this you are going to get
Typically some more intense pigmentation
Right off the bat. So it gives you a little bit less control
Okay, make sure to keep your blending Brittini I like to dip back into that light shade again
Hush-hush and just really go to town blending all that out
Seeing some areas where it could be smoother
The blend but it's not too too bad. I think the pigmentation is some of the better pigmentation I've seen
Throughout the ball in terms of mass
So that is definitely encouraging and you guys know if I want to build the color
or if I want to reduce the patchiness, I like to take a more tapered blending brush and just
Gently tap into the color and fill in those gaps, I think it works pretty well
Okay, so we have a nice crease going on but I feel like I need to deepen it up a bit more
I'm going to go in with rock star and I'm going to actually mix it with mystic and again my two one seven and
I'm just gonna work on deepening that up because I want us
To have enough contrast for the cut crease
So those colors when used on this kind of brush in this way apply pretty well. I
Actually, I think I prefer
Applying them mixed like this then alone and she likes a little bit less patchy
So I'm having a little patchiness there as you guys can probably tell okay, so this is what we have so far not
The smoothest blend in the world. I do think the pigmentation was
Pretty good
Overall just a little bit of bloody issues here and there
Alright, so I think at this point I am going to cut the crease so I will be right back
Okay
so now that I cut the crease I'm just going to dip back into I'm going to mix Sparks and
Rock star and just kind of like gently trace that along the line just to define it
And clean it up a tiny bit more
Okay, so that just helps to emphasize the
Contrast a little bit. So I'm just going to wipe a little bit off on my two one seven and just kind of buff out
Very gently that top edge right under the brow. So it's a little softer
Don't actually have a super highlighting shade in this palette
Unfortunately, so I probably won't be putting anything under the brow
Okay, cool. So now we're gonna jump in with some of the shimmery shades. I'm gonna start with
Let's do glitz and glam on a dry brush I've had pretty good success with
Dry brush pigmentation with the vault so far, so hopefully we'll continue
Pretty good, I
Really haven't been disappointed by
The shimmery shades you just have to build them up a little more that's like the theme
Of the vault is if you if you are willing to spend a little extra time
Building and blending you're going to love it if you are not willing to spend that extra time
It's probably not going to be your favorite thing
Or I should say it's probably going to make it a little bit harder for you to use it on a regular basis
I'm not saying you won't like it. I'm just saying
You might not reach for it quite as much as a little bit of an easier palette
Okay, so that's a pretty enough shade right? I'm gonna take my setting spray wet the brush
And we're gonna go in with let's do
Bling-bling coat the brush then we're gonna place that
Right next door I
Think what it's actually not
as
pigmented as I thought it would be on the last palette the armed and gorgeous palette when I wet the shimmer it like really
Exploded with pigment. This one isn't too different for this shade. I'm gonna try with my finger
these
shimmer shades when you swatch them with your finger they feel
extremely soft and creamy I
Don't think that shade has really
all that much intense pigment to be honest
Because usually with my finger I can get a pretty good bang for my buck and I'm a little bit underwhelmed by that shade
So I tried a wet brush and I tried my finger and I just don't think that one has
It doesn't seem like it has a ton to offer
So just kind of blending it in with that first shade and for the end why don't we try very
Treasure again. I'm gonna try it dry and she can use that same brush
Blot it. So when you tap this brush off when you use bury treasure buried treasure, excuse me, not buried treasure
Um a lot does flake off
So I'm just pressing that
That has some good pigment right there that definitely does
Blends pretty easily into that first shade. I'm gonna have to touch it up a little bit
I'm gonna have to touch that first shade up a little bit, but
The blending isn't too bad
If you're gonna use darker shades I highly recommend doing your base after
But I just like how my videos look better when I do my base first, I don't like
Doing eyes shadow tutorials as much with a bare face
I just don't think it looks as good so I am gonna have some fallout from that shade
All right. So back in with bling-bling. I just want to
Really mesh those two colors together
So yeah buried treasure is good. That one has some nice pigmentation
really nice pigmentation
Okay, so this is what we have so far
for the top
Lid definitely part on the dramatic side
so I think I'm going to hop down to the lower lashline and
Let's see. I'm going to use so we haven't used Jem yet
I feel like we have to use Jem that is like one of the prettiest colors in the whole palette
I can't believe I missed that shade and just look right over it
So that's going to be our lower lashline
At least part of it
So on a pencil brush that is beautifully pigmented
That's probably my favorite that's probably one of my favorite shades in the whole ball so far that is like really stunning
Really really stunning
Okay, so that is what that color looks like that super pretty all right now I'm going to take a
Took my only pencil brush I have
we grab this little more feet e18 and
I think I'm going to grab a little bit more glitz and glam
And just hit the tear duct just to brighten up that lower lash line of tiny bit
What are my okay hmm, all right
Now I'm going to incorporate a little bit of pizzazz over top the purple just in the center of the lid
Just I want to test that color as well. So I'm just going to tap into
this Sigma e 20 and just hit the
Right on the center
Add a little bit more dimension
Now color is applying well in this capacity with this brush and in this little space
I really I really actually think that color is applying quite well. I'm just blending it in
And I think that's pretty much the completed look um
See
Like I said, it's definitely not your like day-to-day look that's for sure
I always end up going like a little overboard because I really want to show you guys as many shades as possible
So instead of making it like the prettiest look in the world
I just try to use shadows and it can end up being a little bit crazy
But that's what my 3 look 1 palette tutorials are for that's for like the wearable stuff
This is for like the let me just show you all the shadows. I possibly can
Alright guys, so that's gonna be about it for the tutorial for this palette. I'm going to as usual throw on my lashes
They're on my lips show you guys a nice close-up and then I'll give you guys my final thoughts on the emboss palette
Okay guys so that completes the tutorial my final thoughts on this palette
This is kind of right in the middle of the line. I feel like with all the other palettes. The mattes were surprisingly pigmented
I didn't expect them to be that pigmented right off the bat
But I did have some blending issues and a little bit of patchiness which we've kind of seen in the other palettes as well
I did like the shimmers of bling bling was a little underwhelming, but I liked the other shimmers I used
Basically end of the day when it comes to the ball
You just have to be willing to spend a little bit of extra time
Building a little bit of extra time blending and you're gonna be okay
if you're not down for that, you're gonna be underwhelmed I think by this collection as a whole so I
Really love the colors in this palette I especially love Jim
I think it's an absolutely stunning like royal purple and the pigmentation was great
So I really think there are some awesome colors from all four palettes that completes my series guys
I'm gonna be doing some three looks one palette with a few of these palettes in the vault. So stay tuned for that
