What's up, everybody?
Welcome to the video.
My name is Tanvir Ahmed.
And hey, consider subscribing if you haven't already, to upgrade yourself and your relationships
to the next level.
Imagine there are identical twins — same features, same genetics, same intellect —
and you separated them at birth.
Now imagine you're able to track these two twins down and give them a bunch of personality
tests, questionnaires, and study their behaviors and life choices.
How similar or different would the twins turn out to be?
Same genetics.
But different environments, different families, and different life experiences.
Well, in case you were wondering, researchers did this with hundreds of pairs of twins separated
at birth and it comes out to around 45% of our personalities and behavioral patterns
are based on genetics, the other 55% is based on our environment, life circumstances,
and life histories.
That's pretty interesting by itself.
But here is the kicker: Identical twins who grow up in the same home under the same parents
also end up 45% same and 55% different.
What does that mean?
Well, a lot, actually.
It means that we more or less end up who we are regardless of who is parenting us.
Which doesn't sound right at all, right?
The data, however, suggest that our parents' parenting methods have no noticeable effect
on our permanent personality traits.
Put another way, our parents determine the superficial stuff — what sports team we
like, how we like to dress, where we like to hang out — but they don't determine
the important stuff — self-esteem, sexuality, introversion/extroversion, neuroticism, political
views and so on.
Now, I know what you're thinking.
"I'm so similar to my father.
Why?"
Of course you are, you share 50% of the same genes with him.
When studied, it turns out that most personality similarities between parents and children
can be explained by genetics, not necessarily conditioning or parenting.
But wait, does this mean that our parents have no influence on how we turn out?
Well, no.
The influence is just small, much smaller than most of us tend to think.
Our parents are just another part of our overall "environment".
But what about abusive parents, you ask?
Obviously abusive parents screw their kids up.
But that's likely due to the fact that they give the kids traumatic experiences, not because
there's anything special to do with them being a parent.
Childhood traumas are childhood traumas whether they are caused by a parent, a teacher,
a bully at school, or an attack by angry velociraptors.
On average, statistics show that shitty parents in a good environment are better
than good parents in a shitty environment.
Environment simply matters more.
Thank you for watching.

Do Beauty Gurus Make Too Much Money? - Duration: 8:52.
so there's a lot of hubbub going on
about how much these beauty influencers
made before I jump into that topic I
want to tell you a little story all
right so for those of you who aren't in
the know when it comes to gaming there's
a gigantic multi-million dollar summer
series for fortnight going on right my
son loves this game he loves four nights
so much he plays he's pretty good for a
nine-year-old and I'm telling him about
this tournament and these professional
players that he likes the lot I'm like
Dylan they're making so much money I'm
like the winner of this tournament is
getting tens of thousands of dollars and
if they get this many points they're
getting like $10,000 on top of that some
of the guys got over a hundred thousand
dollars and my son kind of gets this low
mmm this little stink face what's wrong
he's like well that's not fair he's like
I want it I want to win money I want to
play you know and and he tells me like
he's jealous that these guys all they
got to do is play a video game and they
win all this money and I'm like Dylan
you're looking at this in the exact
wrong way what is up everybody this is
Chris from the rewired saw when we
talked about the problem but focus on
the solution and if you're new to my
channel my channel is all about mental
health I am NOT a drama channel but what
I like to do I like to pull things that
are going on in society or in the
community and try to teach you what you
can learn to improve your mental health
so if you're into that kind of stuff and
want to get mentally and emotionally fit
make sure you subscribe hit that little
notification bell so yeah there's a lot
of stuff going on ever since makeup geek
made that video about how much beauty
influences are getting paid now before I
talk about that I need to put a
disclaimer and I know some of you it's
gonna go in one ear and out the other
well let me explain okay I think a lot
of people completely missed the point of
her video like completely missed the
point of her video what she was talking
about is friends friends who she helped
build up in the community they have
turned on her and are trying to charge
astronomical amounts of money alright
like nobody is saying that you should
have make money off this thing
okay so I've seen a bunch of other
responses like everybody is making these
videos now like my truth all over the
place right and like she's not saying
you shouldn't make money off this but
it's like taking advantage of a small
business owner and the situation that
they ran you know what I mean like are
you really gonna charge your friend like
that much money like what happened to
like a favor or charging less or a
reasonable price like that that's mainly
what you were saying and I just want to
address that because I think a lot of
people are missing that point and it
kind of blows my mind like what what
fascinates me is what people hear and
what people choose to hear but anyways I
just want to touch on that so yeah I
don't think that's right I don't think
that's cool like if they want to charge
multi-million dollar companies $60,000
to do something like cool go for it like
I've seen a lot of my comments I've seen
the comments on other channels or on
Twitter and Instagram a lot of people
like I know they made that much money I
didn't know and like here's the thing
like we're gonna talk about being a
hater I used to be the biggest hater I
hated anybody who was successful just
anybody I see what they had and I wanted
it and I was mad at them because they
had it and I was just built in my head
and the reason number 5068 why I say we
talk about the problem and focus on the
solution I would sit there and I would
obsess about what they have and what I
don't have rather than focusing on the
solution of how do I get what they have
what are they doing so going back to
that little story I was telling you
about my son I was telling him I'm like
Dylan you live in an amazing time where
you had the opportunity to get good at
something you love and make a living off
of it like that's the way you need to be
looking at it so all of you out there
who aren't youtubers or influencers or
whatever like that's the mindset you
need to get in not like oh my god they
make way too much money office it's no
it's like you can do it too like I made
a video while review Gary Vaynerchuk
crushing it and I made a video about so
many of you out there are depressed and
you go into a job that you hate every
single day and it's making you so
depressed it's soul crushing and you go
home and you just want to zone out
because you absolutely hate your job you
guys it's 2018 okay
you are in a place where you can do
something you love and make money from
it let me repeat that for the people in
the back you can do something that you
love and make money from it is it easy
no you guys you guys I work a full-time
job and this is my second video today I
do this and I'm bringing in a little
extra income to help support myself and
my son and things like that because I'd
like to talk about mental health I like
to help people so I'm doing this and I
got a little extra money coming in you
guys all have this opportunity like man
I just can't explain it like it you know
10 20 years ago when people were stuck
at a dead-end job and hated it I was
like man that sucks because you needed a
certain degree you need a certain
education you didn't know somebody you
need to do that like Gary Vaynerchuk
talks about this all the time like there
is no more middleman you if you have the
talent if you have the skill and if
you're willing to work hard for it you
can be that person yeah you you I'm
talking to you you can be that person
who's making $60,000 to post an
Instagram post for somebody but it takes
time it takes effort you got to grow a
following you got to put in work you got
to put blood sweat tears in this thing
there is it much free time there's no
more binge watching Netflix for days on
end like it takes hustle it takes grind
so like I just wanted to make this video
like don't hate on people because
they're making a bunch of money like
good for them like something that I
mentioned in another video that I really
stuck in my head it's like you guys
success and Happiness are not a limited
resource just because somebody has it
doesn't mean that you can't get it too
you can have just as much happiness and
success as the next person is just are
you willing to work for it that's the
thing so if somebody else's happiness is
not taking away from your happiness
someone else's success is not taking
away from that your success you have the
opportunity to do these things today
alright so I will put a link down to
gary vaynerchuk's book crushing it in
the description like if you are not
understanding the words coming out of my
mouth pick up that book like like I'm
not telling you to quit your job or
anything like that but like you really
gotta understand
these people didn't get to where they
were by slacking they didn't get to
where they were by not taking risks they
didn't get to where they were by not
hustling you know what I'm saying
like you can do it too we live in a
beautiful time I know things are not
perfect like trust me I know things in
our country or in this world are not
perfect but this is one thing that you
can do to reach people directly about
something that you're passionate about
something that you're good at and sort
of grow up following and have the chance
to do something that these beauty
Brewers are doing so even if you're
watching this and you're somebody who's
not into you know beauty guru stuff
maybe you're into like I don't know
photography or video games do you guys
understand what's going on like people
like 10-15 years ago were saying like
people who played video games are nerds
and losers and now now you have these
people who are making millions and
millions and millions of dollars I think
the last time I checked like ninja was
making a half a million a month like
that is bananas like if you go watch a
twitch stream people are just throwing
money at them just to talk to them and
watch video games like I don't know man
I just want to go on this ramp buy again
let me go back to the beginning of this
video I think a lot of people miss the
point of my - video like it's not saying
that people shouldn't make money it's
just saying like don't step on people
don't treat people unfairly like what I
was like well how much you gonna pay me
like what are you talking about anyway
so I'm not gonna go into that ramp I
already covered it in the other video go
go watch that anyways anyways again I'm
gonna link that book down in the
description below and leave comments
leave comments down below like let me
know like I don't know if you want to
get open and honest like are you upset
at how much they're making out of
jealousy like be honest about it
you know I do not think they deserve to
make bike why not I don't know I just I
want to talk to you guys and maybe I'm
missing something I don't know that's
all I got for you today if you like this
video please give it a thumbs up if
you're new here make sure you subscribe
bring that notification bow I make a ton
of videos and a huge thank you to
everybody supporting the channel over on
patreon in case you didn't know the
reward so store is up and running

right there go check it out get yourself
submerge alright thanks so much for
watching I'll see you next time

How much more HP does my GTI get with this box? DTE Systems - Duration: 12:23.
Hello everyone!
together with Claus I'm driving the Golf GTI
and we are on our way to Recklinghausen, Germany
There is DTE-Systems in Recklinghausen
there is a company which is specialised on ECU tuning and gas pedal tuning
I visit them, because I'm not so satisfied with my Golf
I want the gas pedal to react more aggressive
and this is what they can do best
this is what we gonna change on the Golf
it'll also get a small improved performance
together with a gas pedal tuning
the real power output of the car will be measured before and after the tuning
to see how much the ECU tuning can do
and I will also test on my way back if I notice a better gas pedal which should be more aggressive
and to see if it was worth it
I'm very excited about that, so let's go!
alright, we are here and our car is inside already
on the dyno
we gonna measure the power output
to determine the value of the ECU tuning afterwards
let's go in
Hello!
Hi!
how are you?
Welcome to DTE-Systems!
Thank you very much!
This is Sabrina
hi!
She invited me to try this out
I'm really curious how the tuning will be
you'll be overwhelmed
because I haven't tried this yet, but people talk a lot about this
I want to see what you build in the car
you've already told me that
the installation is very easy and it doesn't take much time
I'll show you more about that in a minute
We have the first results
we measured the performance before we built in the chip
and how much HP is it?
we have 280HP and 356Nm of torque
we have 15HP more than stock
especially we haven't refueld the good petrol
Now I'm curious how much HP we will have after we build in the chip
okay, here is the power control for you
yes
which will be built in your car
okay, this is really tiny
this is the entire device
exactly
with all the harness
okay so this is the chip
the chiptuning
or how do you call it?
power control!
I'm curious how much HP we will have after the installation
let's have a look at it
I remove the cover here
so we have one sensor here
here you can see how we plugged the cable between this sensor
like that
this is how it looks
and we connect the cable we unplug this one
with an adapter
and done
we connect it on the draft tube sensor
and on the boost pressure sensor
and also on the camshaft sensor
so if you are technically gifted you can do it yourself?
yes, absolutely!
we gonna change the values of the sensors
those are different voltages
and we read out the RPMs from the camshaft sensor
and we can adjust the values in different RPM sectors
the module itself is here
you also get an app that I've downloaded on Claus' cellphone already
and here you can see for example
intake pressure, turbocharge pressure
then we have the GeForces over here
that are measured by the cell phone
but we will have a look at the settings that are very interesting
here I can enable and disalbe the entire power box
so when I click here it is turned off and the car has stock settings again.
when I enable it, I have different settings like Sport, dynamic and efficiency
I can make a direct comparison
here you can see at 6,680RPM I have 275HP
it drops a bit at the end
yes
the peak performance was here with 280HP and right at this point I have increased power by 45HP
so the chip brought 45HP more?
yes!
this is a huge difference!
and the torque is
we have a difference of
from 350Nm to 400Nm
which lasts for a long RPM range
this is what you actually feel in the car
it's 50Nm of torque more
that is the real difference
I'm really excited if I notice that on my way back on the Autobahn?
because it is really...
first I thought, maybe we can add 20HP more...
this is more as I had expected!
but first it's time for gas pedal tuning!
this is the pedal box
this is why I'm actually here, because
one thing that I always complain about the car is that the gas pedal is way too weak
let me unbox it to show you how it looks like
this is like a remote control
maybe you can explain it a little bit better
how does it work? What does it to the car?
we will install this now
the initial characteristic will be change
so that it will be more agile
Okay so let's install it, maybe you should do it. I'll stay away from that
this is the pedal box
this is a small handy part that I can glue somewhere down here
it is also good to know that oyu don't need a technical component report
but you need a report for the power box
but there are many reports available
but you should make sure if there is one for your car already
let's get to the adjustments
turn on ignition
so you see the light here
that white circle means it is set to stock
I can switch it to the city mode
yellow means Sport
and red is Sport+
between the three settings City, Sport and Sport+
I can fine tune it
plus 3 which is pretty tough
but I can also decrease it
minus three steps
this works in city- and Sport mode too of course
I would suggest to do a short test drive
just to see how the gas pedal works now
but we will also test drive it on the Autobahn later on
to test the power box
I still have the settings of the pedal box in stock mode
so I just drive off now and this won't be a big surprise, because I know how that feels
you can feel that
when I hit the gas that you have a second of delay
But I will do it again. Full throttle this time. Hold on Claus!
okay that was full throttle and you really feel the delay before the car really takes off
now we gonna try that again with pedal box enabled
here you can see the remote again
we enable the full potential on Sport+ and plus 3
the highest possible setting
and we try it out, I'm curious how it works
you feel that?
yes!
you really feel a difference!
this is... wow!
this is crazy!
let's drive back I have to try that again!
I really didn't expect that!
this is a huge difference, even for a passenger
also while reversing
okay then go full throttle in reverse
okay hold on!
yes
well... yes
you fell that!
you feel it for sure!
we also have the increased performance
and the combination of both is aweseome!
indeed!
definately!
I'm curious how it will be on the Autobahn later on
yes, me too!
I'm excited to hear your thoughts after the test drive
me too!
how you will like it
and please tell me about it!
I will!
on my way home I will test it again on the Autobahn
and you can see it in my video how I like it!
I'll watch it for sure!
Thank you very much for the devices!
And we drive back home now!
Have a safe drive!
thank you!
okay let's put this together
Actually this car has 265HP from stock
the dyno test revealed that it has real 280HP
and with this chip tuning it has
with the power box
the car has a performance of 320HP
I can really recommend the combination with the gas pedal tuning and the ECU tuning alltogether
the gas pedal tuning really makes a difference!
when you drive off for example
there is way more acceleration, because the gas pedal reacts way faster
and when there is no more traffic here I will test the acceleration in higher speeds
okay now let's test the acceleration
it's fast as hell now!
yes, I am impressed!
it can also help you to lower the fuel consumption
but I cannot explain why it is lower than usual
if you drive 200km/h all the time I cannot say that it saves more fuel...
but
the reaction of the car is awesome!
Really, you should try it!
I think Claus is impressed as well
yes
I can barely hold the camera
He can't say anything
it pushes on my lungs so bad!
thank you very much for watching!
I hope you enjoyed the video
and maybe you want to try such a tuning in your own car?
if you want to then make sure to check out the DTE-System's webpage
Thanks again for watching
don't forget to like this video
and don't forget to subscribe to my channel!
you can do that somewhere here
you will see where the circle button is
See you next time!
Bye! And I will hit the gas now!

What you missed this morning: How much would it take to take the name of a restaurant "character"? - Duration: 0:57.

How much does the Champions League affect domestic form? Liverpool surprise, Spurs best - Duration: 2:57.
That is what the statistics from last season suggest. Out of the five English clubs who played in the Champions League last season - Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea - the Anfield club's domestic form was affected most drastically by European competition
Despite Mohamed Salah's exceptional 32-goal league campaign, Liverpool finished fourth in the Premier League, averaging 1
97 points per game (ppg). When playing in England's top-flight having participated in European competition during the week, Jurgen Klopp's men averaged 1
36ppg. Their stuttering form following Champions League games is perhaps understandable, given the tendency to rotate players in the league, the further their progress in Europe
There was less of an issue when preparing for a midweek continental clash, with the Reds averaging 2
33ppg in domestic games preceding a European fixture. Liverpool are better-equipped to attack on multiple fronts this year, with ample support in midfield thanks to the summer recruitment of Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Naby Keita
The adage of a 'European hangover' wasn't disproven by English clubs last season, however
Only Tottenham Hotspur averaged more PPG on the weekend succeeding European competition than they did across the 38-game season
Chelsea averaged a dreadful one point per game in the eight domestic fixtures which followed their European nights, and it was that inconsistent league form which means Stamford Bridge will be hosting Europa League games this season
Manchester United's domestic PPG average in pre- and post-Champions League games actually bettered their season average, but with ties against Juventus in the group stage to prepare for this season, that looks unlikely to repeat itself
Correlation between Manchester City's league form and European battle was barely noticeable, given the dominant domestic campaign of Pep Guardiola's men
However, having reached only one semi-final since the Sheikh Mansour takeover in 2008, the side's focus may be swayed towards that larger dangling carrot

What Counts as Plagiarism? - Duration: 3:47.
- [Instructor] Now let's talk about
what counts as plagiarism.
As I mentioned earlier in this series of videos,
I've had graduate students ask me before
how much do you need to change before it is not plagiarism.
And how much material, or how many words
can I use without a citation?
Well, those are both very good questions.
It turns out that there are no hard and fast rules
regarding how many words in a row
would count as plagiarism.
So the answer to a graduate student who asks,
how much material can I use
without a citation is, well, it depends.
Opinions differ, and this is where
some of the difficulties lie,
in the lack of consistent rules.
According to Chekola and Shaw, Drum, and Hodges,
anything three words or longer should be cited.
Hexham, on the other hand, says that anything
four words or longer should be cited.
Roy says anything five words or longer should be cited.
I would say that it depends on both
the content of the words and the context.
For example, would I be guilty of plagiarism
if I used this seven word string
without attribution or quotation marks?
Two heavy chains and two light chains.
Well, as it turns out, this seven word string
gets used pretty commonly in scholarly journal articles
that discuss the structure of a particular
immunoglobulin molecule, not to mention
some other molecules that have a similar structure.
Sometimes it is attributed and sometimes it is not.
It is almost never put in quotation marks,
from what I can tell.
I would imagine that early on, in the first few years
after this molecule's structure
was discovered and published, researchers would routinely
cite the various studies that were involved.
Perhaps over time, this became less necessary,
as the structure became part of the common knowledge
of researchers in this field.
However, a good rule of thumb in this particular case
would be to always cite a source for the concept,
even if you do not need to put
the seven words in quotation marks.
Now for another example.
What if I used this 28 word string from Szabo in 1998
without quotation marks and without attribution?
Well, at this point, we have crossed an invisible line.
Through the gray area, from a short string of words
that might be either common knowledge
or just a generic phrase that everyone uses,
to a longer string of words that is more distinctive.
This sentence expresses an original idea.
The important thing is that this sentence
is the original expression of one author.
You should not use it without citation and quotation marks.
However, what if I changed a couple of words,
substituting synonyms for those words?
What if I changed a couple more words?
Well, the basic idea is still intact,
as is the basic structure of the author's sentence.
Just substituting a few words here and there
falls into what Dr. Rebecca Moore Howard
called patch writing.
It is incomplete paraphrasing.
And you shouldn't do it in academic writing.
An acceptable paraphrase rephrases
an author's ideas in your own words.
It is okay to use a few words from the original.
In fact, it may be impossible or unrealistic
to try to paraphrase scholarly material
without using some of the original words,
particularly in the science and technology fields.
Just don't use most of them in the exact same order.
Doing a good paraphrase means demonstrating
that you understand the basic ideas of the original text,
and that you are not just parroting the ideas.
Now, we are going to discuss ways that you can write well.
And in the process, avoid plagiarism.

Can you guess how much the outfit Meghan Markle wore to Hamilton with Prince Harry cost? - Duration: 5:51.
Meghan Markle attended Hamilton with her husband Prince Harry wearing a stunning black tuxedo dress
The workwear inspired little black dress showed off the former-actresses long legs
The special West End gala show was held to raised funds for Harry's HIV charity Sentabale
Meghan Markle and Harry met with the cast and appeared to greatly enjoy the performance
How much did Meghan Markle's chic outfit for the event cost? Meghan wore a dress from Canadian fashion brand Judith & Charles
Meghan lived in Canada for a number of years while she filmed for her previous role in cable drama Suits
The dress costs CAD 550 or £330, a fairly modest prince for a dress worn by a royal
Meghan added a pair of earrings that the Duchess had worn before, to the Queen's 92nd birthday concert
The Shaun Leane Vermeil Talon Earrings currently cost £225.00 from Farfetch.com. Another element of her outfit that Meghan recycled was the shoes, which she wore to arrive at Dublin airport last year
The Paul Andrew Black 'Pump-It-Up' heels are not currently available online, however, the brand's shoes cost up to £745 for leather boots and £645 for pumps
Meghan's bag has yet to be properly identified although it is thought to be the Becksondergaard box clutch in black glitter, priced at £49
13. This whole outfit costs £1,249.13, although Meghan was worn most of the pieces before
Meghan added black eye make-up and a shimmery highlighter. The occasion marks Meghan's West End debut as a member of the Royal Family, having once worked as an actress before becoming the Duchess of Sussex
However, this is not Meghan's first trip to see the musical. According to reports Meghan already attended the show without Harry
Meghan Markle and Camilla recently holidayed together in Scotland with their husbands
Who is Meghan Markle? Quick profile Meghan Markle was born Rachel Meghan Markle, on August 4, 1981 to parents Doria Ragland and father Thomas Markle
Her father was previously married to Roslyn Loveless and Meghan has two elder half sibling - sister Samantha Markle and brother Thomas Markle Junior
Actress Meghan's first television appearance in the USA was in an episode of the medical drama General Hospital in 2002
She later moved on to roles in CSI, Without a Trace and Castle along with bit parts in Hollywood films including Get Him to the Greek, Remember Me and Horrible Bosses
Meghan was also a "briefcase girl" on Deal or No Deal - but her most famous role was as Rachel Zane in legal drama Suits, which launched in 2011
She was written out in the finale of the seventh series when her character got married, which aired in April 2018 - just before she got married herself
Charity and humanitarian work Meghan Markle's career in television has gone hand-in-hand with her support for causes close to her heart
She wrote about the stigma around menstrual health in an article for Time magazine and was a Global Ambassador for World Vision Canada - with whom she travelled to Rwanda for the charity's Clean Water Campaign
And her commitment to gender equality has seen her work with the United Nations - receiving a standing ovation in 2015 for her speech to mark International Women's Day
Relationships In September 2011, she wed film producer Trevor Engelson, who she began dating in 2004
But the pair divorced two years later in August 2013, citing irreconcilable difference
She was in a relationship with celebrity chef Cory Vitiello for almost two years, before they broke it off in 2016 but the two remain good friends
And in June 2016, she met Prince Harry on a blind date set up by a mutual friend
Their relationship began in October that year and just over one year later, on November 27, 2017, the pair announced their engagement
They married on May 19, 2018 at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.Meghan's heritage Some have claimed Meghan Markle is the first mixed-race member of the Royal Family
Historians are still arguing about Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George III. But Meghan will be the first royal to openly embrace a mixed-race heritage
She has written about the difficulties of being a biracial actress in Hollywood as she claims she is not black enough for some roles and not white enough for others
