Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are often the target of criticism on everything from their fashion choices — including their scene-stealing hats at the 2011 royal wedding — to taking holidays

But the sisters have each other to lean on during the tough times.  Speaking in their first joint interview for British Vogue's September issue, the duo admitted they often act as "each other's rocks" when public ridicule gets especially difficult

"There was a horrible article that had been written about Beatrice and she got really upset

We were just about to step out [at a Buckingham Palace garden party] and she had a bit of a wobble and cried

I was looking after her," Eugenie, 28, explained. "And then about an hour later, I had a wobble and started crying and Bea was there for me

"  While Beatrice, who turns 30 this month, works for a U.S-based technology company called Afiniti, Eugenie is a director at the London art gallery, Hauser & Wirth

However, they have to balance their everyday careers with their high-profile roles within the royal family

"It's hard to navigate situations like these because there is no precedent, there is no protocol," Beatrice explained

"We are the first: we are young women trying to build careers and have personal lives, and we're also princesses, and doing all of this in the public eye

"  The age of social media presents an outlet where the royals can portray themselves as they want, although scrutiny is never far

Eugenie, one of the only members of the family who has a public Instagram page, said, "It's so easy to recoil when you see a perfect image, but it's important that it's real

We're real."  Despite the normal sibling rivalries — Beatrice shared that one of their biggest feuds was over a pair of shoes — Beatrice will serve as Eugenie's maid of honor when the younger sister marries fiancé Jack Brooksbank on October 12

"Euge is amazing," revealed Beatrice, adding: "She's a very modern bride."  And wedding planning is going smoothly

"I'm not stressed at all," Eugenie told the magazine. "It's nerve-racking because you want it to be perfect, but then you realize that you're going to be with the person you love forever and nothing else really matters

Fech The Ferret FIRST PUBLIC DEMO + Discord - Duration: 1:36.

The first public demo of Fech The Ferret is here!

If you wanna download it,

join my brand new Discord server!

As you may know I've been working on this fast platformer game for quite some time.

While I'm still early in development,

I've got to the point where I can safely say that

I've started to create content that will be in the final game,

like first bits of level design and some of the aesthetic.

Which means that, now more than ever,

basic stuff like speed, jump height and jump distance

better become definitive, since level design heavily relies on these.

And that's where you, and Fech The Ferret's Discord server, come in.

In this server, beside downloading the game,

you'll be able to tell me what you think of the demo,

we could discuss about game development

or you could tell me whether there's something you'd like to change!

Also the server is going to be a place where we can talk about Sonic stuff,

music or pretty much anything.

I hope to see you there!

Oh, one last thing!

I wanna show you this lovely drawing by ipskrimson.

IT'S SO CUUTE!

Traitor John McCain's Damning Secret Goes Public – THIS IS TREASON - Duration: 13:28.

Traitor John McCain's Damning Secret Goes Public – THIS IS TREASON

Senator John McCain's true colors have really bled out over the past year, haven't they?

The more we learn, the more we realize just how much of an impact he had on Donald Trump's

presidential election run in 2016.

Now, despite McCain's claims that he had little involvement in the whole Trump Dossier

mess, a new book proves quite the opposite.

The aforementioned dossier, the work of anti-Trumpers in the DNC and Hillary Clinton's camp, has

since been largely discredited, but it caused quite the stir initially.

And it probably would've been dismissed as a bunch of garbage had it not been for

McCain, who heard about this dossier and apparently took matters into his own hands.

In a book entitled, "Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin's War on America and

the Election of Donald Trump," we learn that McCain's treachery began early.

Via Breitbart:

"In their work, Isikoff and Corn relate how McCain first heard about the dossier and

how the Arizona senator dispatched a close associate, David J. Kramer, a former State

Department official, to retrieve a physical copy.

Consistent with another recent report in the Washington Post, the authors write that McCain

was told about the dossier at a security conference in Canada by Sir Andrew Wood, a former British

ambassador to Moscow and friend of Steele.

McCain in turn dispatched Kramer to meet Steele in England to view the dossier."

In short, McCain's delivery of the dossier to then-FBI director James Comey added a ton

of urgency to the issue, and thrust it into the limelight:

"…The Bureau already had the memos.

But now that one of the Senate's most influential members was worked up about the Steele dossier,

it became a more urgent matter."

And as we all know, that Dossier really hurt Trump's chances for a while, and he had

to overcome all those false Russia rumors.

Thankfully, however, he did, despite McCain's best efforts to derail Donald's rise to

office.

Public opinion divided as Denmark bans burqa - Duration: 1:32.

This is a garment worn by some women practicing the Islamic faith:

the burqa,

which covers a person's entire face,

or the niqab,

which only shows the eyes.

The veil has been at the center of a politically explosive debate

around the world.

Today the full face version is banned by 13 countries.

The latest to join them: Denmark.

And public opinion continues to be divided,

certainly on the streets of Copenhagen.

For some,

the law strives to uphold secular and democratic values.

"We want to take a stand against political islam,

against the fundamentalists in our society,

we have some people who believe that they are in their good right

to wear a headscarf who covers all of the face,

so we're not able to see their face,

so authorities are not able to see their face,

and this is what we want to take a stand against."

Others however view this as an infringement on freedom of religion

and expression.

"I really hate this law,

I think it's so embarrassing

and I cannot stand being a citizen in this so-called democracy,

with this kind of law."

Under the law,

in Denmark,

police will fine women who wear the full face veil

ranging from 134 euros for a first offense

and 1342 euros for a fourth.

The ban also targets other accessories that hide the face,

such as balaclavas and false beards.

It's nerve-racking because you want it to be perfect, but then you realise that you're going to be with the person you love forever and nothing else really matters

Lynn Nottage on the origins of SWEAT | The Public Theater - Duration: 4:03.

SWEAT really, for me, began with a friend of mine who was a single mom of

two, who wrote me an email, explaining her situation. She found herself after

working most of her life and being solidly middle class, without a job

and for six months without re, any really, any real resources. And it really

broke my heart because she's someone who I was very close to and I engaged with

on a regular basis, but I really had no idea that she was in such incredible dire straits.

So I really set about to figure out how poverty and economic

stagnation was really shifting the American narrative, and this was in 2011.

And I began doing research with my assistant at the time, and we came across

a city called Reading, Pennsylvania. The very first time that I went to Reading,

Pennsylvania was in, I believe, December of 2011. And in that moment, at least in

Reading and in many places like that a lot of factories were shutting down, and

steel workers and, and textile workers were finding themselves locked out, which

is very different than previous generations where, you know, if you had

labor issues, you were able to strike and, and sit down at the barden [sic],

bargaining table and use collective bargaining to really affect change. But

what was happening in Reading and a lot of places is that factories were

pre-empting strikes and locking workers out. And so that's very much the, the

environment that I entered Reading in. We first reached out to the mayor's

office. We reached out to United Way. We reached out to some homeless shelters.

We reached out to some businesses and really had this multi-pronged approach,

and our expectation is that people were not going to speak to us. Our expectation

is that people were going to be like why are these interlopers coming, but what we

found was quite the opposite. We found that people were really eager to engage

because they felt very invisible. They felt like they were suffering in

isolation, and the minute I would sit down with someone, suddenly there was

just this outpouring of information. And so my assumption is that I

was going to be in Reading maybe for two weeks max, and it ended up being a two

and a half-year journey.

I went in very much as an outsider, as, as an artist.

And as an artist, I know a great deal about economic insecurity, because that's the

place where I live. And so, I realized that there was a lot more that I had in

common with folks, then I initially suspected. You know, I thought, oh, these

folks are not going to be much like me, we're not going to find ways to dialogue.

But I realized there were so many commonalities in our experience. And once

we were able to sort of lean into each other and have that dialogue, I think

that the experience may, became deeper and more profound. One of the reasons

that I wanted to write SWEAT is that I really wanted to put this very fractured

city, a city in which everyone was hurting, in isolation, I wanted to put those

people into dialogue, so they all recognized that they shared this one

central narrative. SWEAT I really feel is, is the American story. It tells the

story of Reading, Pennsylvania, but it could be any place. It could be any

post-industrial city across the landscape.

My real real hope is that

after the audience sees the play that they want to sit down and talk to

someone who they've never had a conversation with before. I hope that

they will ask really tough conversations not just of themselves, but of the

legislators and the people who are in power, you know. I also hope that they

will understand the power of art and be more willing to engage with storytelling.
