C'était un été un peu morose. Je venais de me séparer de Vincent et, dans la foulée, nos vacances étaient tombées à l'eau

Je n'avais aucune copine disponible et pas d'argent pour me payer un voyage en solo

Alors, quand ma cousine Élise m'a proposé de passer deux semaines avec elle dans sa maison des Landes, j'ai accepté

Sans grand enthousiasme. Ses jumeaux, préados, sont pénibles, et Bastien, son mari, n'est vraiment pas marrant

Mais faute de mieux. Du coup, je passais l'essentiel de mes journées à la plage, seule avec mon roman, pour échapper à l'atmosphère pesante de leur famille

Un après-midi, j'étais en train de lire quand j'ai remarqué un étrange manège. Un beau mec grand et mince, en short de bain, d'une trentaine d'années, arpentait la plage en abordant toutes les filles seules sur le sable

Je ne savais pas ce qu'il leur disait, mais, si certaines se contentaient de secouer la tête en guise de réponse, d'autres s'énervaient carrément
