Jo Hyun Jae, bracing self for public outcry

Jo Hyun Jae, bracing self for public outcry. Hmm. Looks like Jo Hyun Jae is in some hot water.

The actor recently starred in the film GP506 (which the above pic is from; its not a real army pic) and currently stars in the new drama Three Dads, One Mom (for which Im holding off judgment till I see the second episode — I wasnt wowed by the first, but first episodes are so unpredictable).

He recently began his military service on the 1st, but has now just been released from training after only four days. That in itself is not terribly strange:.

According to military service law, if one is found to be unfit for active duty following a physical examination, due to disease or mental or physical disorder, or requires more than fifteen days recovery time for said condition, said person may be dismissed.

What IS weird, though, is the fact that is just becoming known that Jo Hyun Jae left in the middle of filming a drama to enlist in his military service — and upon his dismissal after four days, immediately returned to filming.

Somethings fishy over in Three Dads territory. (I dont know the specifics of Three Dads, but generally a drama begins filming anywhere from a month to several months in advance.

A trendy drama that doesnt require excessive preparation — unlike, say, an epic or high-budget production like Legend — may typically have about eight episodes completed when the series begins airing.

It is definitely weird to have started military service in the middle of a project.).

The situation is starting to stir up lots of suspicion and criticism — if he suffers from a severe enough condition to prevent him from training, how can he be fit enough to film a drama? — which is not helped by the fact that the drama producers have offered no explanation, and have evaded questions about the topic.

Furthermore, prior to Jos enlistment, the producers had been unusually hush-hush about his impending service date.

Some of Jo Hyun Jaes fans are supporting their star, casting aspersions on the validity of the news reports, but a majority of them agree that things look suspicious.

The mandatory-military-service topic is always a source of major debate, and a definite hot-button issue. Everyone knows that effing around with draft-dodging schemes in Korea is serious, career-damaging (if not career-ending) business. Methinks hes got some splainin to do.

Public survey on fate of Shin Kori 5 and 6 nuclear reactors to launch Friday - Duration: 0:43.

Fears over a new strain of Hepatitis E linked to ham and sausages in Europe has prompted

the Korean government to step up inspections.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety says it will boost inspections on all non-heated

processed meat that contains pork from Europe.

It will also collect and inspect all such ham and sausages already in the market...

and decide on temporarily suspending distribution and sales should they pose a risk.

The new strain of Hepatitis E has been linked to pig farms in France, the Netherlands, Germany

and Denmark.

It's known to infect more than 60-thousand people in Britain a year.

While most suffer a nasty flu-like illness,... new figures from Public Health England show

a surge in serious illnesses over the past several years.

'Science In Public' interview a Blamey Saunders client - Duration: 5:12.

Yeah so I'm Martin Harmer and I'm a researcher grimmest and I live in Ballarat in the country.

How important is sound in your life and in your work?

So I think you don't realize how important sound is until you

have to move to the country and you take away all the background noise

and when you only have a few sounds left to listen to and if one of them is missing

completely in an ear um you really notice it. How did you come to find that you

had a hearing problem? I had tinnitus and I found it frustrating but I

saw help with that and it was explained to me what tinnitus was

technically and then it made a lot more sense. Than your brain focuses on it less.

When was it first suggested that you should get a hearing aid? I suppose it

wasn't really suggested to me that I should get one, it was suggested

to me that it would be an option to make that sound clearer in

my ear but it was after about a year of knowing I had that hearing loss

that I made the decision that it would be time to trial one. How did you come

across Blamey Saunders? So I knew of their hearing aids through family and

I had other family members who had good experiences with them so I decided to try one

and it was a good idea. Are you wearing your hearing aid right now? Yes, yes I am

wearing a hearing aid right now and to be honest I wear it more

around home when im just tinkering, working on the property,

because it's just nice to have some stimulation in that ear and not to

have a dull feeling like it's blocked

and just be able to have some full simple hearing it's very nice.

You're relatively young to be wearing a hearing aid, was that something that

concerned you and made you self-conscious about how they might

appear? No I wasn't really self-conscious about it at all, I mean

lots of people are different in lots of different ways so it really didn't

worry me and it actually took a few colleagues a couple of weeks to

notice so yeah I don't think it sticks out that much and I don't really care if it

does. What difference has it made in your work?

I can look people in the eye when I'm talking to them instead of

having my head tilted and I do pick up on conversations more than I used to.

I didn't feel that the hearing loss there was a real

problem in my work life it was just enjoyable to put some

sound back into the ear. You know that I choose to wear it i don't have to. So tell me about what

difference it makes being in an environment like this? Okay so I really started

to realize I had a problem when I was outside at home and there was a tree

full of birds and I turned around and faced the other way and the tree disappeared

it was as if you know a hundred

or 200 birds just vanished and having the hearing aid in allows

you to enjoy that from every different direction and its really really nice. How about music

tell me about that album you bought? Yeah so the other thing I found particularly frustrating about

not having a hearing aid in was in the car listening to music, you'd find it to be

dull. You'd try tweak the the sound system to put some noise over

that side of the car and it didn't really work. I found when I

put the hearing aid in and used it, electronic music got a lot nicer in fact

all music got nicer. I recently bought the new flume album and listen to it at a

reasonable volume and you can sit there with a hearing aid and you'd put it in

and it'd sound good and you take it out and it'd sound bad and you put it in and

it'd sound good and it was that simple you're just missing out on all those

high-pitched noises that you wouldn't have got otherwise.

How about relationships you know, friends and family do they notice a

difference? Um I'm not sure if my friends and family notice the

difference at all. I know that I find it easier to listen to female voices on

this side of my body because they tend to be higher pitched so you notice that

in the car it's a lot easier to listen to a partner. Anything else that you want

to add just randomly? Oh it's just pleasurable to have some noise

in your ear that you know

to be able to listen to music and listen to nature completely, instead

of in a partial manner.

So if someone was considering that they thought they might have a hearing

problem and they're asking you for advice, now what would what would you say to them?

I'd probably say just try a hearing aid and go out and do what you enjoy

doing for a couple of days and then try taking it out and realize what you were

actually missing out on.

Lina wants to breastfeed but she's struggling.

Michele is off to a great start nursing but she has to go back to work two weeks after

giving birth.

Zoe has no space to pump and store her milk at work.

Lina, Michele, and Zoe are not alone.

Without access to the support they need,

lots of moms struggle to meet their breastfeeding goals.

Cheryl to make first official public appearance next week – and it's for a good cause - Duration: 2:25.

Cheryl to make first official public appearance next week – and it's for a good cause

Cheryl seems ready to return to the spotlight, having kept a low-profile since the birth of her son Bear in March.

The singer, 34, has strongly hinted that she will attend the Game4Grenfell charity football match next week, asking fans on Twitter: The GAME4GRENFELL is taking place on Sep 2nd will I see you there?? The fundraising event would mark Cheryls first official public appearance since she became a mum.

While Cheryl has not confirmed her attendance, other celebrities who will definitely make an appearance and take to the football pitch include Jamie Redknapp, Jack Whitehall, Olly Murs, Tinie Tempah, Jamie Dornan, Jarvis Cocker, Danny Jones, Les Ferdinand, David Seaman and Alan Shearer.

Peter Crouch is also confirmed to play alongside his childhood friend Gregg Jules, a firefighter who was directly involved in the Grenfell Tower relief effort.

The 90-minute match will take place in the afternoon of Saturday 2nd September at Queens Park Rangers, the closest league ground to Grenfell Tower. The match will be broadcast on Sky with Sky Sports Chris Kamara reporting on the day.

Tickets for #Game4Grenfell are priced £15 for adults and £5 concessions. Cheryl has been doing her bit to drum up excitement for the charity match.

Earlier this month she shared a photo of the promotional poster, writing: I love to see people come together for such an important cause! You can come and be part of it. The busy mum has been taking a break from social media, posting less and less in the past few months, so it was no surprise that her Instagram snap sparked a flurry of comments from her followers.

Cheryl come back, wrote one, while another asked: Please new music..

Spreading Salam | Public Speaking Sec 727 - Duration: 4:51.

Assalamaualikum, brothers and sisters

Today, I'm going to talk anout an issue that has been bothering me for quite some time

It is abouth the sense of brotherhood that has been dying in us

We see people hate each other, gossip about one another and even kill each other

If everyone thaught everyone as their siblings,

I think these atrocities will not happen

There is a way to fix this actually

It is a way that is taught by our prophet, which is by spreading Salam

This simple method is actually quite effective

Just spreading Salam, doesn't have to do anything else

Because Salam means peace

And Salam is even one of the names of Allah

When you say Salam, you guarantee the other person peace

You guarantee that the other person is safe with you

No harm will come to them

Giving Salam is a Sunnah, but answering a Salam is Wajib (Compulsory)

Allah said, when a person goves you Salam,

Give another gesture that is higher or at the same level as Salam

Giving Salam has many benefits

There was this one time, when a young man approached the Prophet

And he said "Salam" and the Prophet replied "Ten"

And then another man approached the Prophet

And he said

"Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah"

And the Prophet replied "twenty"

And then another man approached the Prophet

And he said "Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah Hi Wabaraktuh"

And the Prophet replied "Thirty"

And then they asked the Prophet

"What's with the numbers?"

So the Prophet said "The man who said Salam recieved TEN rewards"

"And the second man who said Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah"

"He recieved TWENTY rewards"

"And the third man who said Assamualaikum Warahmatullah Hi Wabarakatuh"

"And he received THIRTY rewards"

Giving Salam is very simple

It is an easy way to attain rewards from Allah

And it is also a way to train ourselves to be free from arrogance

Spreadng Salam is good

It has to be done with manners

The way the Prophet spread Salam

Is like A man who has woke up, he can hear the Salam

But it will not wake those who are sleeping

This is because of the finesse of his way of giving Salam

Some people, they give Salam but in the most inappropriate way

They give Salam for example in the toilet

Which is one of the most disgusting places in the world

And another thing is they giving Salam to a group of people who are busy working

We should not do this because it would interrupt their work

And another thing is during when an event is going on

This is not appropriate

Because it will disrupt the smoothness of the event

The prophet give Salam to anyone, anywhere

To elders, young men, to women and even children

We can actually practice this in our daily life

How do we actually practice this?

We should give Salam to our coworkers when we go to work

Give Salam to our classmates when we're in a class

Or give Salam to the house members when we get back home

Some people think that giving Salam is a burden

It is downgrading

But if you look at the prophets of the past

They are the head of all men, and they too give Salam

Another Sunnah that is forgotten by most people

Is giving Salam when we part ways

A Salam when you part ways with someone who you meet

Is as important as giving Salam when you meet

By giving Salam, we will actually be loved by Allah

If you look at the events of Isra' Mi'raj

When the Prophet wanted to meet Allah, he said

"Tahiyyattul Mu Barakatussalawatuttayibatulillah" (All the honours and good prayers to you)

And Allah replied

"Assalamualaika Ayyuhannabiyyuwarahmatullah Hiwabarakatuh" (Peace be upon you, oh Prophet with the mercy and blessings of Allah)

This thing which is giving Salam

Is what Allah did to our Prophet

So imagine, we did the same thing

We will recieve a lot of rewards

And plus, beloved by Allah

In conclusion, spreading salam is good

But it has to be done in a mannerly way

Give Salam softly

And look at the place or the event if you want to give salam

And that's all from me....thank you

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah Hiwabarakatuh

Katy Perry on how she ended VERY 'public spat' with Taylor Swift's ex Calvin Harris - Duration: 3:01.

Katy Perry has revealed how she came to end her public spat with Calvin Harris, the ex-boyfriend of her arch-nemesis Taylor Swift.

During an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, the Swish Swish singer, 32, said the acclaimed DJ, 33, asked her to collaborate on a song when they bumped into each other at the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party in February.

We'd had little falling outs here and there. We'd had some public Twitter spats … Time to put all that behind us, she said.

We just bumped into each other and he said, I think I have a song that you should come check out.

I was like cool because we had always meant to work together for years and years and years. I came to the studio and he played me a bunch of unfinished but really solid moments for his new record.

Then he played me this one part for this new song called Feels and I was like, Oh yeah.

This is like my favorite song off the record. I was just down to do it. I've always wanted to collaborate with him for years and years and years. .

The song Feels eventually featured Pharrell and Big Sean on the Scottish DJs fifth studio album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1. . The successful collaboration was a means to burying the hatchet on their long public spat.

In 2011, Calvin was scheduled to open for Katys gigs but cancelled at the last minute after being angered over set arrangements.

The furious I Kissed A Girl singer vented on Twitter, posting: 'Calvin Harris will NOT be joining in on the fun and has CANCELLED last minute.

To which Calvin replied: Sorry to all who wanted to see me with Katy – her team suddenly moved the goalposts and I was to appear on stage with no production.

Katy hit back again with: The goalpost seems to be perfectly fine for New Young Pony Club, Yelle, Robyn, Marina & The Diamonds, to name a few. It's fine, I'm used to you cancelling on me, it's become ur staple! (sic).

Katy also found herself in another Twitter spat started by Calvin in 2016; this time involving his ex Taylor Swift, 27.

Following his split from Taylor, Calvin blasted the singer for trying to defame him, and dragged her Bad Blood feud with Katy into things.

It came after Taylor moved on with actor Tom Hiddleston, 36, within weeks of their split - and then claimed she had written the lyrics to Calvins smash hit This Is What You Came For.

After a series of angry outbursts, Calvin Tweeted at Taylor: I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.

I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it..

Katy is set to host the MTV VMAs this Sunday where it is rumored that Taylor may be performing a new song.
