News on Youtube Jun 20 2018

Hey, guys. I finally arrived at Lhasa St. Regis Resort.

I've had 17 hours on the train. So let me freshen up and show you the beautiful room.

Now I've freshened up.

With the scarf that I bought from Chaka salt lake.

Anyway, now I will show you what the room looks like. So, let's go.

First, there are cabinets.

Cabinet with hangers.

Cabinet with sleepers and a locker.

More cabinets

With my stuff. haha

It's all nicely designed into I guess what they call Tibetan style.

The first thing you see is a little lounge place.

I actually ate quite a lot of fruits because I'm really hungry after the train journey.

There is a large TV and another window.

Here is the bedroom area.

And a study as well.

We got a twin, but there will be three of us all together in this room so we're gonna

get an extra bed which is actually not as they big as these beds.

There's a curtain that divides up the study area.

It's pretty.

And that's me. Hello :)

Isn't it beautiful how they designed the room?

I really like the door. Actually interestingly, you can draw the curtain.

I guess it will give a more lovely vibe ... like this.

Here, we have 2 nice basins and a huge mirror.

Don't you like the painting?

Another window.

Admire the painting. Dragon, Chinese porcelain with some fruits, etc.

I'm sure it means something prosperous.

And a bath tub.

I wanted to take a bath but I thought it

might make me a little bit too tired since Qinghai was 3,000 meters

above sea level whereas Lhasa is 3700 meters above sea level.

This is the shower. (It wasn't 100% clean tho)

It just looks alright.

Then, a big mirror.

And a bathroom.

nothing special

These doors can be closed.

Oh, it's actually not that private because you can see through. LOL

Me and my friends will figure it out... haha

Now that I have shown you the room,

Let's go outside and see what the ground looks like.

Let's go~

"John Doe" DNA-based indictment in hotel rapist case a first for D.C. - Duration: 7:01.

WASHINGTON -- Prosecutors in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday announced a "John Doe" indictment of an unknown suspect believed to be linked to a string of unsolved violent sex assaults, based on his DNA profile

The "John Doe" indictment is the first of its kind in Washington, according to Jessie K

Liu, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. The serial predator attacked women mostly in hotels in and around the nation's capital between August of 1998 and February of 2006, and became known in local media as the "D

C.-area hotel rapist." Six of the attacks have been linked by DNA to a single assailant who remains unidentified

The same attacker is also suspected to be linked to eight other incidents, Washington Metropolitan police chief Peter Newsham said at a press conference Tuesday

In the majority of the cases, hotel housekeepers were attacked as they cleaned hotel rooms in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D

C. In several of the incidents, the suspect used box cutter, a cord or a necktie to threaten and harm his victims, the FBI said in a press release

A box cutter with name the "Debbie" written on it was used in 2002 attack linked to the D

C.-area hotel rapist at the Hilton Hotel on Colesville Road in Silver Spring, Maryland

FBI  "This individual preyed on members of the D.C. region for nearly a decade," Newsham said in a statement

"We have not deviated from our goal of holding this person accountable for his heinous actions and feel confident that our recent progress will lead to his identification

" The "John Doe" indictment was secured May 1 by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia for the unknown suspect on charges stemming from the two attacks that happened in that city

Calling the DNA-based indictment a first for her office, Liu said that it will allow prosecution for those crimes once the suspect is identified even if that comes after D

C.'s 15-year statute of limitations for 1st-degree sex abuse has expired. "We're grateful to know this means the offender will not escape justice due to the passage of time," Liu said

Local police jurisdictions who are handling the cases with the help of the FBI publicized images depicting how the suspect may look and items of evidence found at two attack scenes, appealing to anyone who may have information about the suspect's identity to come forward

One image is a 2003 sketch based on witness accounts, and the other is an age-progressed composite image generated through a private lab based on the DNA profile

The FBI also published images of a box cutter with the word "Debbie" scrawled into the handle and a ring that a victim was able to take off the suspect during one of the attacks

A ring the "D.C.-area hotel rapist" was wearing during a 2003 assault at the Renaissance Hotel on 9th Street in NW Washington, D

C. The victim was able to pull off the ring. FBI  "Our combined law enforcement efforts include the work that was done at each scene, the work of the prosecutors to bring forth this indictment and now a public outreach effort seeking information on this violent assailant," FBI Special Agent in Charge Matthew DeSarno said in a statement

"If you recognize this person, if this box cutter or ring are familiar, if you have seen these items before, we need you to call law enforcement and provide the information

The public's assistance is vital in solving this case." Police say the suspect is an African-American male, between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a medium to stocky build, brown eyes, black hair, and a medium to dark complexion

At the time of the assaults, he was believed to be in his 20s to 30s. He is now believed to be in his late 30s to late 40s

A reward of up to $45,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case, according to the FBI

Anyone with information is asked to call the Washington Metropolitan Police Department at 202-727-9099 or the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or online at https://tips

Alexa, send up breakfast: Amazon debuts Echo for hotels - Duration: 2:04.

Alexa is adding a new job title: hotel concierge.Amazon has launched a version of Alexa for hotels that lets guests order room service through the voice assistant, ask for more towels or get restaurant recommendations without having to pick up the phone and call the front desk

Marriott has signed up for the service, and will place Amazon Echo smart speakers in 10 hotels this summer, including its Westin and St

Regis brands. It is another way for Amazon to sell its voice assistant and devices to businesses and get Alexa in front of more customers

Amazon already sells a version of Alexa for workplaces, and has struck deals to place Alexa in cars and refrigerators

Alexa has become an important part of Amazon's business because it keeps users attached to Amazon services, such as music streaming

Amazon said data from hotel guests will be deleted daily, and Marriott said those who don't want an Echo device in their room can ask to have it removed

Hotels will be able to customize the responses Alexa gives their guests, such as nearby restaurant recommendations or pool hours

Other tasks that Alexa for Hospitality can do include checking guests out of their room, turning on the lights or playing lullabies to help them fall asleep

Later this year, Amazon will allow hotel guests to link their Amazon

com account to Alexa so they can listen to their music playlists or audio books during their stay

Shopping, however, won't be allowed through the hotel version of Alexa, Amazon said
