How Much Is Your 30-Year Mortgage REALLY Costing You? - Duration: 3:31.

Another place that people are losing money

that you may not even think about

is when it comes to your mortgage.

Yes, people, it's so normal just to get a 30-year mortgage

and go about your day and not even think about it.

Do you know how much money you're wasting

when it comes to payments and interest, and all of that,

versus getting a 15-year?

So, what I did is,

I went into my Facebook group

and I asked some of you questions,

and in my YouTube community,

because I wanted to test your smarts

when it comes to paying your house off early.

And it was very interesting.

So, according to the Census Bureau,

the average mortgage payment is $1,030.

Now, if you invested that money

instead of paying it to the bank,

how much could you have in 15 years?

Let's see what you said.

Oh, interesting, 34% of you got it right.

The correct answer is $475,000.

Mm hmm, you heard me right.

Almost half a million dollars you guys!

If you didn't have a mortgage payment and you invested that . . .

Half a million dollars, amazing.

Alright, next question is,

if you had a 30-year mortgage

but made one extra mortgage payment every three months,

how much earlier could you have a paid-for house?

Alright, this one was a little bit trickier,

but most of you thought the answer was five years,

but it's actually 11 years.

Yeah, 11 years.

That's the difference of looking like this

when you have a paid-for house or looking like this.

If paying an extra full mortgage payment

doesn't work in your budget,

then just simply switch to paying half of your mortgage bill

every two weeks instead of just once a month

and you can still pay off your home eight years faster.

Isn't that crazy?

Alright, final question is,

the average price of a home in America is $268,500.

Now, if you got a 15-year instead of a 30-year mortgage

at the current interest rate, that's 4.5%,

which of these things could you buy with the money

that you would have saved?

A: A designer handbag every six months for 30 years.

B: A nice beach vacation for your family

for the next 30 years.

Or C: A water jet pack.

Let's see, oh, everyone got this one right.

The answer is any of these, yes!

If you just got a 15-year instead of a 30-year,

you would have saved a $120,000, amazing.

And I actually got a couple of other funny responses

when it comes to this.

One of you said,

"Probably as big as any rental property

or a lot of shoes. I'm kidding—kind of."

Someone else said, "An early retirement."

Yep, that's what I'm talking about. Amazing.

And you know what?

If your mortgage is stressing you out,

there is no shame in considering just downgrading

or even selling your home.

The cash you could make could really set you up

for success in the long term.

And if you use one of our trusted professionals

that I recommend, you could get almost $5,000 more

at closing than with another agent.

So, remember once you own your home, you guys,

you have a paid-for house.

And it's now an asset that's 100% yours.

That really contributes to your net worth.

You're no longer paying the bank,

you are paying you and your future.

Now, if you want to find out

what your 15-year payment would be,

we've got a free and easy-to-use mortgage calculator.

So, make sure to click the link below.

How Much Does It Cost To Purchase Everything In Starlink: Battle For Atlas? // MrStainless001 - Duration: 4:32.

Hey everyone Sam here also known as MrStainless and today I wanted to take a look and see

how much it would cost players to purchase every possible ship, pilot and weapon upgrade

for Ubisoft Toronto's upcoming space game Starlink: Battle For Atlas.

Now if you don't know what this game is, don't worry, it's basically a space adventure

game and equally Ubisofts answer to games like Skylanders and Disney Infinity.

The whole game has modular models that you can collect that, when scanned into the game,

will unlock new weapons, ships and captains for you to play with.

One thing that has annoyed a few people is that if you don't own the model for the

ship you want, or if it hasn't been scanned into your game…you can't use it.

So there is a bit of an added pressure that if you want to experience everything possible

in the game you're likely going to have to fork out more cash.

So, how much money would you have to spend?

Well the starter pack for the game will cost you £69.99 and on PS4 and Xbox One and this

will give you the Pilot Chase Da Silva and his ship as well as three weapon upgrades.

If you purchase it on the Nintendo Switch you'll actually get something different,

you get Chase Da Silva, the exclusive Starfox ship and Starfox himself as well as two weapon

upgrades.

At the moment I haven't found an option to purchase Chase's ship separately for

Switch players since they don't actually get that one with their purchase but I'd

say that will be something the Dev's add later.

So, next we have Pilots, there are four additional Pilots that can be purchased; Levi, Razor,

Eli and Kharl and each of them cost £6.99 each.

Note that you don't get a ship with them, they're simply additional Pilots that you

can play the game as.

Then you've got weapon packs, now in the game there are going to be a variety of different

worlds and enemies that you'll experience, each one will have weapons that they are weaker

or more resilient against so pairing up with the correct weapon can make the game a little

bit easier for you.

Each weapon pack costs £9.99 and you can choose from Iron fist, Crusher, Shockwave

and Hail Storm.

Finally you'll got additional ships, now to be honest I think these are the best value

for money out of the whole lot because not only do you get an additional ship, each with

their own specialties, you also get that ships Pilot which you can't buy separately and

you also get a weapon upgrade unique to that ship which you can mix and match with the

rest of your collection.

Ships you can choose from at the moment are Neptune, Lance, Pulse and Nadir and each of

those will cost you £24.99.

So, if you wanted to get everything that Ubisoft Toronto have for Starlink: Battle for Atlas

right now, what would it cost you?

Well it comes in at £237.87.

Now of course if you're on PS4 or Xbox that means if you want the Starfox ship you'd

likely have to buy the Switch version then sell off the game because they likely won't

make that available later, we just don't know.

Now if that sounds expensive, don't worry I think there may be a way around it, if you

know anyone else who plays the game you may be able to use their ships and upgrades.

The way that the game works is that you don't have to have your physical ship with you at

all times, the dev's have made it that way so it isn't ridiculously cumbersome.

If you have a ship and you scan it into the game it's there forever and you can swap

it out in-game.

Now if this works the same as Amiibo's where it's just a QR code with unlimited uses

that means that if a friend of yours has a ship you don't you could just scan the items

into each others games.

If however the ships come with a one-use code then that'll prove a little more problematic.

Either way I'd love to know what you all think about this, for me it seems like quite

a hefty investment for a brand new IP but at the same time I know that Skylanders and

games of that type made a crap ton of cash when they released onto the market and games

like this have the potential to really generate a lot of revenue.

Tie that with the fact that they're likely targeting a similar age group of gamers this

is the kind of thing that players will add to over time rather than just buying everything

at once so honestly I'm pretty torn about it.

Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

In the meantime though if this is the first time you've come across the channel feel

free to hit that subscribe button down below to be kept up to date with when new videos

go live but until next time have a great week and I'll speak to you all soon.

People Are Freaking Out Over How Much This Girl Looks Like Demi Lovato And Ariana Grande's Twin - Duration: 3:12.

People Are Freaking Out Over How Much This Girl Looks Like Demi Lovato And Ariana Grande's Twin

A teenager is going viral for somehow appearing to be both Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato's doppelgänger at the same time.

If the two pop stars could merge their DNA and have a daughter who's already a teenager, that teenager would definitely look like 18-year-old Samantha Rodriguez.

Rodriguez attended the LGBTQ+ Pride parade in Houston, Texas, last weekend, and she tweeted a photo of herself decked out in Pride apparel — rainbow and glitter and all.

Unexpectedly, the photo accumulated almost 50,000 likes over the next couple days.

Fellow Twitter users were flabbergasted by Samantha's face, and frankly, it's easy to see why.

Being a doppelgänger is one thing, but being two people's doppelgängers at the same time? How, Sway?.

Folks reacted accordingly.

"Make up your mind, you're either gonna be Ariana Grande or demi lovato," one frustrated fan wrote.

"Ariana Grande??? Demi Lovato???" another fan demanded.

Samantha told Teen Vogue that she's frequently been compared to Ariana, but not so much Demi.

"I've gotten the comment about Ariana quite a lot actually," Samantha said.

"The Demi comparison was kind of random, I'm assuming because of my chin.

I personally don't see the resemblance to either so all of the attention I've gotten is so wild to me.".

"People have been reaching out to me on all platforms explaining how crazy it is that I can look like two celebrities in one.

I've been called Demi and Ari's baby so many times now," Samantha added.

Luckily, being an Ariana and Demi mashup is nothing but a compliment.

"I actually love everything about both women and what they stand for.

They also happen to be extremely gorgeous so to be able to be compared to them both is really an amazing feeling.".

Officials don't understand how much I struggle to survive‚ says land occupier

Officials don't understand how much I struggle to survive‚ says land occupier.

Law enforcement officials on Monday demolished shacks belonging to homeless residents who occupied a piece of unused City-owned land in Zwelitsha‚ Khayelitsha.

Community leader Lindeka Tshomela explained that most of the occupiers were backyarders who struggled to pay rent for their backyard dwellings before they began moving onto the land two weeks ago.

Nomapha Gwele said she was busy feeding her baby at her cousin's place nearby when the officials destroyed her shack and confiscated her building materials.

"I feel like screaming aloud‚" said Gwele as she wiped tears from her eyes.

"The officials don't seem to understand how much I want a place to stay and how much I struggle to survive." She works on a part-time basis as a domestic worker in Lansdowne.

Tshomela said the law enforcement officials were unnecessarily aggressive.

"In one instance the officials shoved a mother of a little baby out of her shack while she cooked for her family‚" she said.

Abongile Sotobe said he had spent four days clearing bushes from the spot where he erected his shack.

"The officials found me fixing a mat onto the floor of my shack and ordered me to stand aside.

They then destroyed it and seized my building materials‚" he said.

Sotobe said he used to stay with his parents in Enkanini informal settlement before he made a decision to occupy the land.

"I can't stay at home forever.

I want to have a place of my own now‚" he said.

"The land is currently being occupied illegally‚" said Luthando Tyhalibongo‚ media manager for the City of Cape Town.

"The City is removing unoccupied and incomplete structures which have been illegally erected." But Msindisi Mnyamana said he had occupied his shack for two days before it was demolished on Monday.

"They stormed into my shack and marched me out before they tore it down without even bothering to move my belongings out first‚" he said.

Mnyamana said he had a bed‚ cupboard and clothes inside his shack.

"It took me the whole day to fell trees and remove bushes from the spot where my shack stood‚ but my efforts meant nothing to the officials as they destroyed it with crowbars‚" he said.

Some people moved onto the land shortly after the officials left.

Reality Winner Prison Sentence: How Much Time Could She Get? | Heavy.com - Duration: 6:40.

Reality Winner Prison Sentence: How Much Time Could She Get? | Heavy.com

Reality Winner exits the Augusta Courthouse June 8, 2017 in Augusta, Georgia.

An Air Force veteran and former NSA contractor has pleaded guilty to leaking classified information and now faces up to 63 months in federal prison, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Reality Winner, 26, admitted to violating the Espionage Act by smuggling classified documents out of her company's office in her pantyhose and then leaking them to a media outlet, The Intercept.

Winner entered her guilty plea to the felony charge on June 26 and will be sentenced at a later date.

The Intercept published a report based on the classified documents saying that Russian military intelligence sent phishing emails to more than 100 local election officials and launched a cyberattack against a Florida-based voting software supplier that operates in eight states.

Winner's attorneys had attempted to argue that the leak of the document did not put national security at stake, but the World War I-era Espionage Act does not have exemptions for leaks done in the public interest or leaks that do not cause damage to national security.

The agreement calls for her to be sentenced to five years and three months in prison, but a federal judge will still have to accept that sentence, according to court documents.

The charge she pleaded guilty to carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

The plea deal also calls for three years of supervised release.

Winner has been held at a county jail in Georgia since her arrest in June 2017.

"All of these actions I did willfully, meaning I did them of my own free will," Winner told the court during her change of plea hearing, according to the Journal-Constitution.

Winner also told the court that she has been depressed and her overall health has suffered while in jail awaiting trial, which was set to begin in October.

"They're just coming down on her so tough," Billie Winner-Davis, Winner's mother, told the New York Times after her daughter admitted wrongdoing.

"I can only think that it's because she was the very first one: the one they wanted to make an example out of, the one they wanted to nail to the door as a message to others.

… She wouldn't have made this decision if she wasn't ready to accept the consequences and to accept responsibility.".

Winner-Davis added, "She said she wants the world to know that she does love her country, and she is a patriot.

I don't want her to go down in history as a traitor to her country.".

A sentencing date has not been set.

In federal cases, the judge decides a sentence based on sentencing guidelines and recommendations from the pretrial services/probation department, prosecutors and defense attorneys.

Prosecutors and Winner's defense team will both file memos asking for a specific sentence for Winner, and the judge will use those to help make his decision, along with the evaluation of the probation department.

Her defense attorneys could argue for a lesser sentence.

Winner, a Texas native, was a linguist in the Air Force, speaking Pashto, Farsi and Dari, and was honorably discharged in 2016.

She then began working for Pluribus International Corporation, a Virginia-based company that contracts with the National Security Agency.

Pluribus is an analytical and engineering service that provides its services to federal, defense, security and the intelligence community on a contractual basis.

The company has 22 locations across the world, including three in the Republic of Korea.

The one located in Georgia is in Fort Gordon.

She joined the Air Force in 2011 after graduating from high school and was deployed overseas as part of the 94th Intelligence Squadron, 707th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing.

She received a commendation medal when she was discharged.

"Airman Winner provided over 1,900 hours of enemy intelligence exploitation and assisted in geolocating 120 enemy combatants during 734 airborne sorties.

She facilitated 816 intelligence missions, 3,236 time sensitive reports, and removing more than 100 enemies from the battlefield," the Air Force said.

"Furthermore, while deployed to support Combatant Commander's requirements, Airman Winner was appointed as the lead deployment language analyst, producing 2,500 reports, aiding in 650 enemy captures, 600 enemies killed in action and identifying 900 high value targets.".
