India to Almaty | Kazakhstan Free Transit visa | 5-star hotel in 70 Rs! - Duration: 15:45.

Lets begin

The in-flight music is making me nostalgic

Last year I travelled with Air Astana from Delhi to Russia

Inflight entertainment has improved a lot

It will take around 4 hours to reach Almaty

We will reach at 4 pm in Almaty

Let me show you the freebies which I got in this flight

This is the goodie bag

Here are the candies

Now we are flying over Pakistan

We have just crossed Lahore, Sargodha, Gujranwala...

Now we have entered Jalalabad, Afghanistan

This is Afghanistan

I requested for vegetarian meal

I wanted to edit the videos but couldnt just because..

the landscape visible from this height is mind blowing

We are flying above Tajikistan

That seems to be a river and a dam

We are somewhere near Dushanbe and Kulob

If you love such landscapes, then I would recommend you to take this flight of Air Astana

This flight leaves Delhi around 11:30 am

We have reached Almaty

Mr Kartikeyan accompanied me on this seat

Like him there are a lot of medical students in this flight

Even last time I saw lot of medical students in Air Astana's flight

So this flight belongs to students and Doctors

He is going to Ukraine and I am staying here in Almaty

The unique thing about this trip is that I am going to travel 3 countries this time

but I didn't take advance visa for none of them

Let me tell you, how I am doing this!

Right now I am in Kazakhstan.

After this I am going to visit Turkey and then Georgia

My initial plan was to visit Turkey

There are lot of flights from India to Turkey

But I chose Air Astana

because Kazakhstan offers a free transit visa to Indians for 72 hours

Only condition is that Kazakhstan should be in your transit, not your actual destination

So after 2 days I am going to fly to Turkey

You have to leave Kazakhstan within 72 hours of your arrival

After this I will visit Turkey, then Georgia and then back to Delhi via Astana (Kazakhstan)

I was not required to get advance visa from the Turkish embassy because...

Turkey offers e-visa to valid Schengen and US visa holders

Thanks to my US visa because of it I could get e visa for Turkey

Indians can visit around 40 countries without visa if you have a valid US visa

I have written an article on it. Check the link above.

These 40 countries are other than those countries which normally offers such facility to Indian passport holders

You dont have to get US visa for those 'other' countries

For eg Thailand, Sri Lanka, Nepal, etc.. Indians get visa on arrival, e-visa or without visa to visit these countries

So if you have Schengen or US visa, then you can visit Turkey with an e-visa

getting e-visa for Turkey takes hardly 2 minutes

You have to fill in your personal details, US visa number, travel details, etc and you'll get Turkish visa online

Similarly, my US visa is also going to help me enter Georgia without its visa

I didn't shoot videos at Delhi airport because all the formalities at Delhi airport are already recorded in another video

That is the first video of my Russian series

That will help you to know about the formalities in India before you fly outside

You can stay in a 3-4 star hotel for a day in just 1 US Dollar if you are flying with Air Astana

Today, I am going to stay in a 4-star hotel

I just paid 1 US Dollar

Around 70 Indian Rupees

This is the airport

Kazakhstan is like Russia

That an ATM from Cberbank

Tenge is the currency in Kazakhstan

i am going to withdraw from an ATM

You can also exchange US dollars from those exchange counters

In this Stopover Holiday Programme I also get free pickup and drop facility

You can extend your stay in the hotel by paying for discounted tariffs

as you are Air Astana's passenger

So if you are flying to Russia, Ukraine, China, Mongolia, UK, Germany or somewhere else...

then you can visit another country (Kazakhstan) without its visa if you fly with Air Astana

Please check their website to know where all do they fly

I would definitely recommend Air Astana's 'stopover holiday programme' and Kazakhstan's 72 hours free transit visa

I am sure you'll love this experience

After landing at Almaty airport, I approached the Immigration desk

They asked me are you a Tourist?

Yes

The immigration officials could not speak properly in English. I had a similar experience in Russia

however, we managed to talk with eachother

They asked me for Kazakh's visa

I said, I am availing the 72 hours free transit visa

Then he approached a senior official

A lady handed over him this document

This helped me in getting permission. It was an easy process

Though the immigration process takes time

Now I am going to approach the stopover holiday desk

There is a free wifi for passengers at this airport

but you need Kazakhstan's local number to use it

the send OTP only on Kazakhstan's sims

I have an Indian sim so couldn't use the free wifi

This is a small airport

Here is the Tourist information desk

This is the meeting point for Stopover Holidays

I have got some basic information from this Tourist Information desk

This is operated by the official Tourism department of Almaty

I have asked them how should I plan my next 1 1/2 days in Almaty

Let me share something important

This is bus 92. Goes from Airport to the city center

This will take you from the airport to the Sayakhat bus terminal

From there you can get a bus to go anywhere

You have to pay 150 Tenge (KZT) to reach there in the bus

its almost 30 INR

The fare remains same irrespective of the distance you cover in a bus

But you can avail discounted fares if you use Onay card

its cost 400 Tenge

Instead of 150 Tenge you will pay 80 Tenge through this card

its 8:00 pm

This is Hotel Ramada

I paid 1 USD to stay here

I am getting messages from Couchsurfers now. I am using this hotel's wifi

Its 8 pm here and 7:30 pm in India

This is a petrol station near Hotel Ramada

He is a couchsurfer. Helping me a lot

I have purchased a local Sim for 300 Tenge

which costed around 2000 Tenge at the airport

This is 'Tele 2'. The same network I used in Russia

I a going to recharge it with that machine

I used the ATM at airport to withdraw 1000 Tenge

This is not working. We are going somewhere else to recharge

Here you can stop a car by waving your hands

Even private cars will stop

You can bargain for the fare if its not a taxi

I saw a few people doing this

Its just like hitchhiking

but here you pay for this

Going to recharge my sim from this machine

I like this place

HAUNTED Hotel with Steven Ray Morris - Duration: 17:49.

Tara: So wait, is this the stairwell?

Steven: I don't know

Both: It looks like the photos Tara: Yeah.

So heres the story. My understanding.

Uh, A contestant for American Idol Steven? American Idol?

He was staying here with his wife and she mysteriously fell off the top of the stairs to her death.

This this is the stairwell.

Steven: well it makes sense because the the story is that she went to go get ice 2 a.m. and I can hear the ice machine.

Tara: Right. Oh. Steven: So she went to go get ice and on the way back.

Tara: Ohhhh. Yeah, we are near the ice machine. This is like around the corner for our room.

Tara: What the hell?

Steven: Ummm.... I don't like this.

Steven: I don't want to go in there.

Tara: [gasp] What the hell is that?

Natalie: I would venture that if we both- all three of us stepped through this door that it would close behind us.

Steven & Tara: Oh 100%

Natalie: Dowsing Rods aren't doing anything. The EVP thing wasn't doing anything either.

Natalie: Is there a spirit here right now? And can we speak to you?

"Yes" to my right. "No" to my left.

Natalie: I got nothin'. Tara: It's thinkin about it.

Natalie: Or there's nothing.

To my right is "yes" my left is "no"

Is there a spirit here and may we speak to you?

I was weird I'm just absolutely nothing happens.

May we converse with you?

Tara: Were you friends with someone who was a guest at the hotel?

Natalie: That doors open.

Natalie: Is there a ghost here that would like to talk to us?

"No" to my left. "Yes" to my right.

May we ask you questions? "No" to my left. "Yes" to my right.

Okay. Resetting.

Are you the girl?

Are you a man?

Just trying to establish a baseline.

Were are you a guest here once?

Are you a guest here now?

I can feel it going to the right. I can already fee it.

I can already. It like started. Like very slowly I felt it going.

Tara: That's crazy.

Are you having a good day?

I need to bone up on questions to ask. Tara: Yeah, introductory...

Like what other the questions I should ask

Tara: Us too. Natalie: Us too. Thank you.

Is your favorite color blue?

Because why not ask that question right? Right? Why not?

You like the color blue but it's not necessarily your favorite?

Thats a weird question ask. Yeah, leaning towards yes, yeah that's kind of-

I'm not doing that.

Tara: That. That's. It's not

Natalie: Oh my god I just got chills from head to toe.

Tara: The way that it looks right now looks different than it did before.

Natalie: Okay I feel really weird.

Tara: yeah?

Tara: yeah that's moving differently

Natalie: Oh my god Tara no no no no no no no no.

Tara: You're okay.

Natalie: I'm okay, I have goose bumps from..

Tara: Yeah, I know. Me too.

Tara: I wanna like guess his name or something

Natalie: that's too open ended.

Tara: I know theres no way to do it.

Natalie: Oh that felt really weird. That felt... like now I'm really cold.

Like you know when you get those fever chills?

Like and it just held on. And then I just felt it like let go.

Was that you?

Oh but it's happening again.

Tara: it's not moving the same way it's moved.

Natalie: No, that's it that's doing it.

Tara: its definitely-

Natalie: It's doing it again. I can feel it again.

Tara: Hey, nice to meet ya.

Natalie: Hi.

Tara: is your- oh wait, I guess back to baseline back to back to the center.

Natalie: Can we go back- Wait. It's letting go again.

It's literally like really weird how the whole body feels it.

Okay, that was you. I know it was. You don't have to say yes again.

That was really strong.

That was a little it's a little- almost a little overwhelming so can we maybe

not do that the same way again?

Is there something you would like to tell us?

it's okay if you don't want to tell us something

you can say no

yeah.

yeah, you are doing that.

yeah, I'll get my thumb out of the way, sorry.

Are you normally in the boardroom behind me?

Are you in whatever's to my left?

Okay. Should I open that door?

because I don't really want to so it's okay to say no.

Tara: We are behind you if you say no.

Natalie: Just asking if you want me to.

You don't care.

Good because I don't want to.

Are you still here?

I don't feel all the same things I was feeling.

I'm taking it like 'not an answer' is a "no" as well.

Tara: Yeah, I think- Natalie: Silence is also "no"

Tara: Yeah, I would think so.

Natalie: Okay, were gonna move on.

We are gonna move on.

Pocztówka z 1916 r., na której ukazany został Hotel Europejski w Warszawie - Duration: 1:57.

We present a charming postcard from 1916, on which was shown Hotel Europejski, one of the most famous and oldest Warsaw hotels.

"Europejski" was built on the site of the former Ogiński's palace.

The hotel was designed by Henryk Marconi with his sons.

The construction of a large building "at Saski Square 1" was realized for those times very quickly, because in the years 1855-56.

It was quickly expanded from 90 to 240 hotel rooms, thanks to the addition of a wing from the side of Krakowskie Przedmieście street.

There were apartments, salons, well-known restaurants and cafes.

Some of the rooms were rented for long periods, in which they had their own workshop, paiter Józef Chełmoński,

reportedly Stanisław Witkiewicz also worked on his paintings there.

The "Europejski" also housed the showroom of Aleksander Krywult and the Lourse café.

The hotel had sewerage and the first one a hydraulic lift in Warsaw.

But until the First World War, he did not have a central one because he did not want to give up the use of stoves.

During World War II, the hotel was occupied by the Germans. During the Uprising, the building was burned.

He was picked up from the ruins by a team led by Bohdan Pniewski

and in accordance with the order of the then authorities, he rebuilt the headquarters of the Military Political School.

It regained its original purpose only after 1956 and after many years of reconstruction.

From May this year - after another renovation - the hotel regained its splendor.

A beautiful drawing of postcards lets you look for a hotel building in its shape from a hundred years ago

and feel into the atmosphere of Warsaw from this period.

MY EXPERIENCE AT SHANGRI-LA DUBAI - FAVE HOTEL IN DUBAI - Duration: 4:05.

hey hey this is Katie and today I thought I would talk to you about my

favorite hotel in the world the shangri-la Hotel in Dubai. if we haven't

met before me and my husband are a British couple we live in a place called

Tianjin which is just outside of Beijing in China and on this channel I generally

tend to do weekly vlogs, shopping hauls and videos about life in China

and our travels in general, so if that sounds like something you're interested

please make sure you hit subscribe and enjoy the video. So the Shangri-La hotel

is one of my favorite hotels to visit, it's in a very good location in the

center of Dubai but it also has a really beautiful view of the Burj Khalifa.

Whilst we were staying there, we were actually upgraded to the horizon club

room where we got to have an afternoon tea and breakfast was included.

Now the afternoon tea was incredible, you had a variety of food that was really

tasty and delicious lots of different types of teas and lots

of different types of desserts which I really enjoyed. so if you are a horizon

club member you also have access to a pool, it's near the top of the hotel and it

is kind of like a plunge pool where you get a really nice view of the city.

There's like a little spa area and an observation deck which just gives you the

most breathtaking views of Burj Khalifa I've ever seen. I would arguably say that

it's perhaps the best view of Burj Khalifa in Dubai. And like I said,

breakfast was also included breakfast in shangri-la hotels if you ever say that a

shangri-la Hotel is always pretty impressive so they always have a wide

variety of different types of foods you can try for Western Asian Middle Eastern

everything and anything and then have these stations where they can make up

different food for you and different smoothies, anything you want they will

probably have there and the Shangri-La in Dubai was no different it had such a

variety of food to have and it was just delicious

now the rooms themselves are really nice like I said we had a horizon Club room

and we have a really beautiful view of the city and the Burj Khalifa

the bathtub was incredible. I just remember it was so big and cozy and of

course they have the best products in these types of hotels.

so the Shangri-la hotel is pretty much one of my favorite hotels perhaps I'm

not sure if it beats the Marina Bay Sands and Singapore but it's up there my

top five so I really enjoy the sharing allowed to buy hotel and it's definitely

worth staying Dubai is quite an expensive place to stay it can be a bit

pricey but this kind of offered you the best value for those top five star range

hotels this was a affordable hotel compared to the other five-star hotels

available but of course it was a bit more expensive than we were perhaps

normally spend in our hotel but Dubai is expensive regardless so it was

definitely worth the splurge so that was our time at showing our hotel I hope you

enjoyed this video it was kind of like a sure little summary because I wanted to

share with you our experience at the hotel because I really did enjoy it and

I would definitely recommend it if you are heading to the bye so I hope you

like this video if you did give us a thumbs up hit subscribe and until next

time, bye.
