News on Youtube Oct 4 2018

Right then, I'm gonna ask you one question. Would you like to take your

Polish to the next level? Don't...don't even answer that. I know what the answer is.

The answer's "Yes" otherwise you wouldn't be here watching this video. Now here's

the thing and the way that I see it: I see it as that when you try and learn

Polish by yourself, it's lonely. It's not the greatest, right? And when you try and

learn with natives who don't always understand what it's like - well, they

don't really ever understand what it's like to learn Polish as a non-native - it

just ends up being frustrating. So I had this wild idea - just crazy idea - I said

well, wouldn't it be so much better if you could like learn just by surrounding

yourself with Polish language learners who....obviously they know the struggle

that you're currently going through and they can help you avoid the pitfalls

along the way and I thought that's a good idea. It's a good idea that's not

just me thinking that right? So I want you to kind of throw it out. This is my

idea: I want to create a community of Polish language learners and kind of

have stuff like instructional videos and exclusive guides and even down to having

stuff like kind of members on the podcast episodes as well in there

because my logic is this if two heads are better than one then just imagine

how much you could benefit from a whole community of like-minded post learners

that's just the way that I see I just think that's better

this is genius right am I the only one that thinks this I just want to check

what do you think and this is the whole reason why I wanted to record this very

quick video is just to ask you what you think because my logic is that if you

are going to try and learn in a group you know if you were learning in a group

and we're coming up with different ideas together all trying different things

whatever I tried this this worked you learn in a group much faster than you

would trying to figure everything out by yourself so that's my thoughts on it I

want to see what you have to say on it so I emailed out my mailing list

yesterday to try and ask them and basically I want to know if you'd be

interested in joining my new polish language learning community now the way

you demonstrate if you want to join it is very very simple I want you to fill

in my short survey and just let me know what you think so you can get to the

survey - how to be polish calm thought /

community survey that's how to be polish calm Ford / community survey I'll put a

link in the description please quick it very quickly because I told the people

on my list something which I'm going to tell you in a second but first I'm going

to tell you some of the stuff which they have been responding already which I was

kind of like okay just see if this sounds like you and sounds like the sort

of things you'd be going through so I mean this community would be if people

have kind of certain challenges things which they're struggling with right now

so maybe you struggle with stuff like polish grammar or post pronunciation or

maybe it's just a case of I'm you know you're struggling with a whole self

learning aspect you might have tried a few apps or trying to learn from books

or whatever it is and you might be struggling with that it could be a case

of confidence it could be you go well I don't really have the confidence to

going on a whole conversation and it might be because you don't feel you have

enough vocabulary or because you struggle to remember vocabulary now I'm

listing off all of these things and I personally know how to help with all of

those things I can only imagine them that other people in the community would

be able to help you too but for me I kind of see it as well

what are the reasons to join the community like this and I've written

down some notes and kind of one of the reason this might be you just don't want

to struggle alone I've done it I you know I've struggled for a long time

alone trying to learn polish and I didn't need to because there are other

people out there and I didn't even know I had no idea I checked some of those

statistics for the blog house we polish calm just the other day and I was like

since when did six thousand people look at this this was what I just made I just

wrote it and people just came and to think that there are so many of

thousands of posters these are just the ones that have found it I mean it's not

like I've done any massive promotion or anything like that and these are just

the people that have found it thousands people watch these videos on YouTube I

know you might not think that by looking at the view count here but you look at

some of the other videos and thousands people are watching them I'm like how

did that happen people are out there and they're learning polish and they want to

help me learn polish and this is why I want to tell you always why started at

the vogue in the first place so you may also want to learn more

effective techniques I always you try and share some of the techniques which

I've used but I don't really feel I've managed to get my point across in many

case is and feel it'd be good to have a

community where we can share different techniques and work on different things

together as well so you know I'm not I'm not kind of like gonna preach to you and

say this is the way you do it I want to put out ideas and and find out how you

respond to these things and find out what works for you because what works

for me may not work exactly for you you might need to tweak a couple of things

that's it and it'll be good to try and find out those things as well you might

just want to kind of learn from well you might you might want to learn to

communicate and publish it might be a case that that you know you haven't

quite got to that stage where you can have conversations yet you want to learn

how you can reach that conversational level so you can maybe I don't know

might be occasion when I go to Poland and speak to certain people maybe some

family or friends that you have over there or maybe they're colleagues even

close to the home you want to be able to have a conversation and polish and I

think that this would be a great community to help me do that basically

it might just be that you just want to learn faster everybody seems in a rush

these days everybody wants to know how a mile of production in five minutes and

I'm like well five minutes is a bit small but here are a couple of tips

everyone's you get to do it why not so if you want to learn faster why not go

and speak to people that are a bit ahead of you and find out what they've been

doing and try that that's the way I would do it anyway and it might be what

you want to work on your conversational skills and and again you know if you

want to learn how to to speak polish I think it makes sense to ask people that

have done it I'm benefit from them that's just the way that I do it you may

feel differently but this is why I want to have a survey so I'm going to tell

you that link again how to be polish comm four slash Community Survey has to

be proz.com for such community survey I would love to hear what you have to

think on the subject um some of the things people have suggested that they

might want to see in there so a grammar course to kind of explain cases with

English examples doable I already started writing a book on that and oh

four actually one we're writing a book because if I write a book I could kind

of like you know put this book at words instead I could have like a living

breathing resource online something which is like an online thing people can

just go to look at the phone guy okay yeah I get this and something where I

can get immediate feedback from people go oh I didn't quite understand this bit

and we can tweak it and make it better so that's that's the way that I see it

we want to build something that people can go to you want to put the greatest

polish any resource on it because why not okay

um it might were you looking for pronunciation videos you might be

thinking uh how do you say that because

you see all those letters together it's not very clear how you say it sometimes

so maybe pronunciation videos might be able to help you to learn how to

pronounce all of those pesky polish words and then you'll be popping off

tongue twisters like Christina Schmiedt Eugenia it all takes practice I didn't

know how to do that overnight I used to struggle like trying to say hello so

practice does play into it but I can help you with that personally I don't

show other people in the community will be able to give their tips to maybe

looking for like podcast or transcripts something which is few and far between I

do know that yam is working on podcast as well so if that's the sort of thing

you're looking for that can be something else pride in the community it may be

it's kind of like the kind of stuff you can use to improve your listening maybe

just having some audio with the transcript circuit again would really

help with that um even if you're just looking for a Fryman community this is

something I want to be something kind of a bit buzzing where we go in there go

okay so such as here or look at Adam over there and whatever and you can get

talking to people you can meet people and we'll have something in common

because we'll all be brought together by the Polish language basically might all

have different reasons why we're learning it could you be some people

known for thumb could be some people learning because they have a job could

be some people learning because they're about to meet their in-laws or

potentially future in-laws which is terrifying by the way so lots of

different reasons as to why people learn but we were joined together by in our

goal of learning English and we can push each other and it doesn't need to be

that we all have to be kind of geared towards the same thing within the same

level but this year fact that we're all there we can all help which everyone can

all contribute I think I'd be a fantastic thing so what I'm really

hoping to do is create a community and enthusiastic

polish learners like I said I want to create the greatest Polish language

learning resource on earth because I just see that is the goal why not aim

for that goal and one help as many people as possible so what I have said

to my mailing list this way need to be very very quick and fill in that survey

we're gonna tell you the link again how to be public comment forward slash

community survey how do you speak Polish com4 slash community survey please

in that survey I would love to hear what you have to say because I've said to my

mailing us already I've told them so this might need to be quick that the

first 25 people that fill in all five questions on that survey I'm gonna give

them free membership to this this kind of this private network that we're gonna

create this community I want to give out 25 free memberships for life full life

to this community and you might think well why am i doing that I think well

why not I really really do want to help people I wouldn't do this

I really wouldn't spend my tally doing all of this if I didn't want to help

people I've been very very fortunate to benefit from from the Polish language

even the the amount that I know I'm still going I'm still learning I'm still

very much learner I consider myself to be so you know am i perfect no not yet

maybe I never will be but do I know enough to help you definitely you know

even if it's just I know something that you don't know just to be able to help

you do that and try to help me go on your way I would really really love to

do that and I'd love for you to be part of this next step basically this this

community this what what we want to build like I say I want to build the the

greatest produce language learning resource on earth and I want you to be a

part of it so please please please head to how to be Polish com4 slash community

serving right now right now please and send me what you think would make this

community the very best in the world absolutely would love to hear from you

and I hope to speak to you again soon in another video all the best bye

How much do I need for a down payment? Typical down payment on a house - Duration: 2:54.

How much do I need for a down payment well we are talking about that today and we are starting right now

Hello everyone, welcome to my channel, my name is Ashley Jurney and I'm a realtor and buyer specialist with town in, Charlottesville

Virginia you can learn more about us by visiting our website at TOWNCVILLE.COM.

So you guys are here because you want to know how much you need for a down payment

Well, there are a couple of different answers to this question. But the national average for down payment is 11%

That figure includes first time and repeat buyers

Well, the broad down payment average is 11%

First-time homebuyers, usually only put down

Three to five percent on a home. That's because several first-time home buyer programs

Don't require big down payments

For instance the FHA loan requires three point five percent down some programs also allow

downpayment contributions from family members in the form of a gift

There are also programs that require even less of a downpayment

VA loans and USDA loans can be made with zero down

However, these programs are more restrictive VA loans are only available to former or current military service members

and

USDA loans are only available to low to middle income buyers in

USDA eligible rural areas

there are programs that require more of a down payment such as conventional loans, which requires a

20% down payment

these types of loans are typically taken out by repeat buyers who could use equity from their existing home as a source of

downpayment funds

However, some new conventional loan programs are available with 3% down if the buyer carries private mortgage insurance

or PMI

Okay, now I know I threw a lot of information at you

So if you have any questions, feel free to leave it in the comments below

There are a lot of different loan

Programs and I plan on making a video about those later and getting more into the specific details about each

So be sure to subscribe to my channel and turn on notifications

By tapping the little bell so that you don't miss out on any of the future information

That could be helpful to you. If you like this video. Be sure to give it a thumbs up

Thank you so much for watching. See you next time

Lionel Messi: How many Champions League goals has Barcelona star scored? - Duration: 3:08.

Lionel Messi scored twice in Barcelona's 4-2 victory at Wembley to edge closer towards progression from Group B in the Champions League

Philippe Coutinho opened the scoring for Barca after just 92 seconds, firing into an unguarded net after Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris had rushed out

The France captain had no chance with Ivan Rakitic's superb 20-yard volley in the 28th minute, though, which flew in off the inside of the post

Messi twice hit the post in the early stages of the second-half before Harry Kane pulled a goal back for Tottenham after 52 minutes with a curling effort from 15 yards

Messi restored the visitors' two-goal advantage with a delicate left-footed finish in the 56th minute and added his second late on, after Spurs had hit back through Erik Lamela's deflected effort

Barca top the group with six points from two games, while pointless Tottenham prop up the standings and face an uphill battle to make the knockout stages

Elsewhere in Group B, Inter also maintained their perfect start with a 2-1 victory at PSV Eindhoven

Pablo Rosario got the Dutch side up and running but Radja Nainggolan levelled for Inter with a 20-yard strike just before the break

Mauro Icardi then put the Nerazzurri in front on the hour-mark after rounding keeper Jeroen Zoet and slotting into the empty net

How many goals has Lionel Messi scored in the Champions League? Messi has netted a total of 105 goals in the Champions League

Long-term rival Cristiano Ronaldo leads the way on 120 goals. Not other players have broken the 100-goal mark in the competition

Messi has also registered 32 assists for Barcelona in the Champions League. Lionel Messi net worth - how much is the Barcelona star worth? Messi's net worth is said to be in the region of £305million ($400m), according to Time

#Ask Sallie: Should I share what I make with my kids? - Duration: 1:01.

- Should I share the amount of money I make with my kids?

Hm…Are they mature? Are they able to handle it?

I really want to answer yes to this question, I really do,

because one of the things I get concerned about, and that we

at Ellevest are concerned about, is that we women are told

from childhood not to talk about money.

That there's a taboo around it.

That there's a shame around it

that when we talk to our parents about it,

it's always, "Honey,

you don't have to worry about that."

When we graduate to young women's magazines,

you've got the six ways to get the smokey eye,

but very little about investing

in a diversified investment portfolio.

In every way, we women can get the message that money

is a shameful thing.

I really want to say yes, to talk to your kids about it.

Maybe build up to it and begin to talk about

other things with regards to money before you say,

"Hey, this year I took down this much money, kid."
