, yesterday announcing that both petrol and diesel drivers can receive Drivers can also combine the amount off a new car with existing company discounts and deals to try and save some more cash.
which offer a similar amount to diesle drivers off a new car. Vauxhall, who offer drivers £2,000 off a new car in exchange for their old vehicle, have just exceeded the 20,000 customer milestone.
The car manufacturer's scrappage scheme returned in May this year after enjoying successful stints in both 2015 and 2016. Much like Ford's scheme, drivers can combine the scrappage incentive with Personal Contract Payment plans to save some more cash.
The scheme will only keep running until stocks last so motorists are being encouraged to not delay taking up the deal or risk missing out.
Drivers can choose from ADAM, Corsa, Meriva, Astra and Mokka X models. For example, you can get up to £4,400 support towards a brand new Mokka X SUV, including the £2,000 for scrapping your vehicle.
"While rivals are now trying to catch up with our scrappage scheme, Vauxhall has already surpassed the 20,000 vehicle milestone, with over 5,000 of those in 2017," said Leon Caruso, Vauxhall's Retail Sales Director. .
"Scrappage has been a tremendous success for us and our customers.
Not only can buyers potentially swap their older, often higher polluting car for a cleaner, more efficient brand new Vauxhall, but they can also use scrappage in conjunction with some of Vauxhall's other great finance offers." Workers' Comp Experience Modifier: How much does it cost you? - Duration: 2:00.
If someone gets hurt on the job, who pays for the medical and wage costs? the insurance
company, right?
Wrong!
You Do!
How does that happen?
Your business has an experience modification score that is based on your history, and it
directly impacts your workers' comp premiums - A LOT!
Your score compares your business' injury history to businesses in your
industry.
If your results are average, you would receive a 1.0 score, like receiving a "C" in school.
If your history is worse than your peers, and you receive a 1.3 score, you would pay
a 30% surcharge in premium, which might feel like a "D", or even an "F".
If you earned a .8 score being better than your peers, you would receive a 20% decrease
in premium.
You might think that's an "A", but what if your score could be as low as .7, or even
.6?
The impact of injury costs on your experience modification score and premium is costlier
than you may realize.
For every dollar the insurance company pays or reserves for injuries actually increases
your modification score.
For every point increase in your score in-turn increases your premium.
Net effect - over the 3 years each injury impacts your score you will repay the insurance
company, plus interest, between 100 and 300% of injury costs.
We call this your WorkComp Payback Ratio(r).
To add to your feelings of being frustrated and overcharged by workers' comp, statistics
show 10% of experience modifications scores are wrong and over 90% are mismanaged.
To improve your bottom line, obtain expert advice on how much your modification score
is costing you, how to drive your score down through better management of comp injuries
and preventing them from occurring, and have your modification score verified if it is
even correct.
