2017 Year End Channel Review - Duration: 3:54.

Happy New Year guys this is John and welcome to Code@Kwento

It's been a year and I'm so so thankful to those who have been with me for the past

year. Yeah, let's look back on what we have done in the past 2017.

So by the time of this video, I've already got 168 subscibers. It's not that big, it's not bad

at all. So I think its those people who really love to learn about the design

and as much as possible I don't do "sub for sub" because it' hurts the

YouTube channel a bit. All in all we have 29 videos. The most viewed video is about this

"Introduction to Web Design Grids" and the second one is about "CSS Grids"

The least viewed videos so far are those that are tagged as "vlogs" because basically I do

understand that people don't really we want to learn anything about me because

who am I really right? so yeah hopefully that gives us a pattern of what kind

of videos to look for and produce for the next year. From that, where do we want to go

now. Basically we we want to produce more "*tips and tricks" kind of videos those

tutorial ones because that is what you watch the most and you learn

more from it than doing vlogs anyway and yeah I do aim to stick to my schedule

post one video a week, Hopefully every Tuesday or Monday

One of the greatest thing, that I want to share, that happened in my youtube career is

once I was in an event, it's called the Form, Function & Class. It's more

of a seminar for designers and web developers. So on that event I'm filming

a vlog, documenting that event that happened and one girl, I think she was a

student, approached me and asked deeper "Aren't you the guy from Code@Kwento?" and I said

yes and she said that "I always watched your videos!"

And I felt grateful in some way like

at least there iss someone watching, learning, and that you've got an audience. Even though

it's just a single person, the mere fact that you were changing or adding something a

single person's life is is mind-blowing right I mean even though there not much viewers in

our videos, but there is still someone learning, that's what's most important

so then again thank you to all those people who doesn't stop supporting me.

I am really grateful to those who watched my YouTube

Cheers for the past year and God willing 2018 would be a good one for us.

Like this video if you want to, if not do leave a comment below

let's do greater things for this year yeah keep learning

Cheers, Buh-bye!

The Undead (1957): Review - Duration: 6:37.

Why Gobbles a gentlest jailer ever to gouge a prison's eye.

Welcome back to my dark corner of this sick world.

'And pray that I may never turn my interest upon you. Hahahaha'

The Undead is one of handful of Roger Corman films, which include Attack of the Crab Monsters

and Little Shop of Horrors scripted by Charles B. Griffith

'Thou art the author of the piece'

films which are cheap and badly made but are saved by their utter madness

'They say the enchantment destroyed my reason'

This one was originally scripted in iambic pentameter

'Tell what you mean and speak clearly'

Following a brief introduction by the devil...

'Here's a story of my eternal work'

we meet mad hypnotist Quintus who doesn't just regress people into their past lives

'Then the regression is physical as well as mental'

He actually transports them there

'And where will you find a subject weak-willed and impressionable enough to arrive in the required depth of trance'

'Diana'

Prostitute Diana Love doesn't get a whole lot of respect

'Her type is the most easily influenced of basic character groups,'

'... almost devoid of will power. That is why I chose one of her class.'

I'm right here!

'Although I dare say she has no idea what I'm paying her for'

And she arrives in her past life at a bad moment

'How fares the witch'

And things gets weirder

'I'll make you final night a pleasure.'

'Don't back away'

Obi Wan?

'What voice is that I hear?'

'It's me - you - both of us'

Well that's cleared that up.

Diana - now called Helene - escapes,

and much of the rest of the movie is a back and forth game of hide and seek in a medieval England

that appears to be about a mile across, because it was shot in a disused supermarket

'I meet thee everywhere'

Helene is not a witch, but Livia, played by soon to be 50ft Woman Alison Hayes,

is the best dressed witch in the middle ages.

and can turn into an owl, an iguana for some reason, a cat

and one of the monsters left over from It Conquered the World.

At the other end of the witch scale is Meg Maud

'Perhaps I'll turn thee into an owl to catch mice for my cauldron'

One step away from a gingerbread house

'I have some conjoring to do'

Livia trying to kill Helene so she can have the handsome Pendragon, which, by the way, is how it's pronounced

'First Pendraon give to me thy gift of one embrace, no more'

The plot seems to be settling down to something sensible, almost pedestrian, and so...

'What is it you fear?'

Quintus, concerned for Diana's safety in way he certainly wasn't earlier, uses her mind as a link to go back in time himself.

'According to certain priests in Nepal, I could follow her'

arriving naked as terminator.

Although retaining his watch.

'The rational mind can accept just so much'

Meanwhile at the witches sabbat, Satan offers to save Helene for Pendragon, but for a price

'Then thou must sell thy soul'

he is saved by Quintus, who suggests the rental option

'Don't sell Pendragon, rent him your soul, say for a month'

Take it for a test drive, you'll thank me later

'So Quintus you have slipped at least the bonds of time'

You'd think Quintus would register surprise at meeting Satan

'And to think I'd never believed in witches'

Now I'm happy to accept pretty much whatever

'I'll have known the most intriguing drama of my life'

No kidding, because now there's the question of timelines to sort

'Her past! We have altered it'

'Diana love and all the lives she would have lived will end. That is they will never be born at all.'

This wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff gives the film's conclusion an unexpected pathos

as Helene must choose between life with Pendragon now followed by eternal death,

and immediate death followed by innumerable future existences,

who then speak to her through the centuries begging for their lives

'give me life'

'I am a mother give me life.'

'I am a dancer give me life.'

'I am happy give me life.'

Which I found quite moving, unlike Quintus's attitude, which I found quite confusing

'I'm not a cruel man, but I can't help being fascinated'

He doesn't care about Diana

'A wanton woman of the streets'

but went back in time to save her

'If she does not die where and when she did in the unchaged past she'll die now'

then becomes gleefully interested in seeing what happens if you tear time apart

'And frankly, I don't care which course she takes'

for which he is properly punished

As with all films that mess with timelines, this doesn't hold up to scrutiny

'Death now life after, Life now, death forever.'

And like most of the Corman-Griffith collaborations this is cheap badly made rubbish

'It's nothing but Sunday Supplement nonsense'

But it's tongue in cheek

'Time has little meaning in Tibet'

Allison Hayes is having the time of her life

'I smell 8 quarts of human blood that will soon enrich the grasses here'

And if you can't enjoy a past-life, time travelling film with ghost dancers

beheadings

'A head is needed!'

and a dime store devil

'Behold the subtle working of my talents'

Then you're watching the wrong show.

'Excuse me did I say nonsense?'

Oh, and I've no idea why it's called The Undead.

'Horrible, horrible choice.'

Thanks for watching, see all our Roger Corman reviews here.

Screenwriter Charles B Grithiths films are always worth watching...

Are there any other screenwriters whose name will get you to watch a film?

Let us know below.

'Say how much longer must I stay in this crummy joint.'

REPZILLA 2017 REVIEW (THE YEAR OF THAT POPPY TITANIC SINCLAIR AND MARS ARGO) - Duration: 11:48.

hey welcome back and in today's video it's been a monumental year it's been

it's been out it's been a rod and I figured that we could kind of talk about

the year reflect back on it and you have a very ripping New Year's Eve and I know

you're gonna rip up the town

listen 2018 probably the biggest year for the rep squad for me and you and in

order for it to be a big year I have to be on my Grod

that means we're going back to videos every single day and that that's good

that's a good thing but first let's talk about how how did this how did this

begin poppies real name puppies real name video almost half a

million views I remember I was I was hit by the car in

ground January 1st I suppose and I was just on the phone talking to my friend

and woke up in the hospital and don't really remember much us but we're not

gonna focus on that when I was in the hospital I had my friend go get me a

piece of paper and a pen and I sat in there and I thought about what I wanted

to do with the rest of my life and it wasn't YouTube and it wasn't making a

lot of money and it wasn't anything like that it was I wanted to do something

bigger than myself so I decided YouTube was a great vehicle to build on I wanted

to create a community and that's what I did and I accomplished it my original

goal was 10,000 subs well we got past that we're almost very very close to

14,000 and I'm really really proud to say that we've met our goals and goals

for next year are going to be of course I want between thirty to fifty thousand

which is probably an easy achievement I know that we're gonna get thirty

thousand for sure if it's a good gear and I stay on the grind I'm thinking

fifty thousand maybe more who knows but Papi's real name was the video that

pretty much started the building of this community and then we went to Papi's

real age and I remember when I first made that video no one knew puppy's name

there wasn't that no one knew and you know I knew a lot of people in in

Chattanooga Tennessee some people that said they even knew

Mariah before and hung out with her and junk like that

and that's one of the ways that I got her real name and so I made this video

and everybody was like I just say I just didn't expect much from I just made the

video and then it was like BAM you guys came and then I never expected to make a

heat like a whole series on that papi Titanic Sinclair and all that and when I

first started making the videos it was really fun you know and I was I really

liked it I really like interacting with you guys and so I remember reaching out

to Titanic Sinclair and asking if I could make the videos and he liked it

and he didn't never respond so I just continued to make videos and I can't see

was pretty mad that I was making those videos because he tried to take he tried

to take my channel down which YouTube told him he couldn't do it and it was

great that he was told no oh somebody's calling me

we'll get back to him but as I made the Daniel bergoglio videos and that did

really good too you guys really like Daniel Bravo Lee I have since stopped

making Daniel brocoli videos not for really any really big reason just

because I just didn't want to make them and got into making more conspiracy

theories like even the in the world videos that you guys really like that

and then you guys were like oh you will you should make Mars Argo videos so then

I made Mars Argo videos and more videos on Titanic some Clara Eugenia Cooney a

lot of you guys came from Yugi and Eugenia cuny videos and that was it was

great and it's been it's been a hell of a ride and then I started analyzing

videos like que si and different things like that

the Illuminati the Rothschilds lots of the stuff that will go into and then you

guys wanted me to make a playlist so I dedicated a playlist and I started and

we started following it and just keeping up with that puppy Mars Argo Titanic

Sinclair different things like that and I became a really where I really little

enjoyed interacting with you guys a lot you guys are the biggest part of my year

I dedicated my entire life to building this community platform in the year of

2017 and you know the last couple days I took a break and it was needed and now

it's 2018 is coming and I got to get back on the grind a lot of big things

going on will I stop making videos on papi and Mars larga Titanic Sinclair I'm

just gonna say they're not gonna make a lot on them because I really just feel

like they've grown past that and the community I feel like has grown past it

- we'll all we'll make videos here and there if something happens but I'm I'm a

creator that's capable of a lot more gonna be doing a lot more music in

things like that a lot more IRL like I've been talking about all year

it's just been it's just been fun and I hope you guys are having a Happy New

Year and I know that I know that we're all excited for 2018 it's my year

started off bad and then it was a struggle most of the year because when I

was hit by that car I had a break have a brain injury and it really made things

emotionally difficult for me it was like bipolarism and depression for no reason

at all everything been going perfect and you just get depression in and I made a

couple bad mistakes and a lot of people want to judge you by your mistakes that

you made but don't worry because you're not your mistakes

obviously I value myself and I value you and if you should you just need to know

that always be yourself and the right people will stay and the wrong people

believe and that's what I've always believed in being a creator this year I

feel like it was a great experience I got to go to the Atlanta the creator's

day where I met a lot of you guys a lot of youtubers and it was fun meeting

everybody down there I met an old friend Apoc if you watching peace out his good

year force and another guy he's pretty cool he hits up me up in the comments

sometimes Atlanta creator today and it was fun meeting the YouTube staff I only

can say this about myself in is that I know my direction I have my goals and I

know where I'm going in life and and I know you guys are going with me

I'm doing I do I'm doing more than just YouTube in the year 2018 obviously who

knows just what it's gonna evolve into who knows just what will happen also I'm

in the best shape of my entire life like like I got abs for days I just went

up you got a you don't understand it's like I was like 190 almost 200 pounds

overweight if you go back and watch the first video you can see that I'm I'm

just fat in out of shape and just not good I didn't feel good overall and then

I just started working out and dedicated my myself to health and I got and now

I'm just like in great shape and turning the whole year around from just not good

into just really good and gotten to investing in things like that man it's

it's been a like I said it's been a hell of a year and good things and bad things

but I guess the matter of fact the only time that I ever didn't make a video

this year was on I never intended to take a break but like I said I got my

brain injury and it really I really get depressed and it's just like at random

for no reason and I guess I had some friends this year and

the one specifically they I guess they're not my friend anymore I don't

know like I said people the wrong people who leave but it's it's probably hard to

deal with somebody that's depressed I don't know my depression was it was

always in the background but it's like I'm such a highly motivated individual

and I have a direction life I'm so ambitious and I have these huge goals

and I don't know hope that I get them I know that I'm gonna get them I mean look

at what I've done this year and if I can do it you can do it you

just got to not be stuck in that mundane everyday thing that's what I preach to

my best friend of the whole year I said that I'm not all sheet I know that she

can do it I know that she has a lot that she can give and I know that a lot of

people like me and her and and you guys we are creators and it was just a lot of

people aren't gonna understand this and I wish that me and her were talking

right now because I would get her ready for 2018 because 2018 is gonna be a big

gear and I just don't want her you guys to get stuck in the mundane the regular

which it's okay there's nothing wrong with that but you are meant for so much

more you can't be so much more and you will be and I know that you will be and

I I'm gonna end it right there because I'm just I'm just gonna keep talking

forever but that being said my or I'm I'm not released a song tonight

unlisted so you'll only get it if you have notifications turned on so keep

that in mind but love you guys leave your creative

and your interesting responses in the comment box below thumbs up for those

likes and as always brothers and sisters I will see you in the next video let's

let's go let's go right in the 2018 with Bob's I got emotional emotional it means

this is it's been a hell of a ride all right I'm up

Make Money When Bitcoin Price Falls! $2,000 In Bitcoin In 2 Weeks! (Hashflare Cloud Mining Review) - Duration: 13:00.

what's going on guys welcome back to a brand new video on this channel today I

want to show you guys how I make money even when Bitcoin is falling how I make

money with big point while bitcoins falling it's absolutely awesome I love

this so much but before we get started guys happy new year also January 1st

Happy New Year and we are almost at five thousand subscribers so if you guys are

new to the channel and you have not subscribed yet make sure to hit that

subscribe button and hit the bell icon next day see you guys notified every

time we release a new video cryptocurrency is really crazy news come

out all the time so you really don't want to miss a video as soon as it comes

out so make sure to hit that Bell icon very very important now guys what I'm

gonna be talking about today is how to invest in different things you know how

to invest in other platforms that will help you make money while you're also

investing in poins themselves and one of the platforms I like to use I use a few

but one of the ones I want to talk about today is hash flare hash flow you guys

can see one day was this on the 18th of December

we're sat at roughly point zero one six Bitcoin and now on the 1st of January

well this is 31st the 1st of January we are currently at zero point one six

three four which is one six three four times

I don't know Bitcoin prices right now let's say fourteen thousand so it's

roughly two thousand two hundred and eighty seven and one Bitcoin price goes

back up it's gonna be worth a lot more so that's why I'm holding it here right

now now why I really really really like this is that even when Bitcoin price is

falling let's go to the coin market cast we can take a look at Bitcoin price

first Bitcoin price is three and a half thousand so I don't remember I think I

used fourteen thousand I'm not sure but their calculation so it's a little less

but if we take a look at the last like three months we can see Bitcoin went

from four thousand dollars all the way up to nineteen almost twenty thousand

dollars and then it came all the way back down and now we're currently at

thirteen thousand was it thirteen thousand four hundred and sixty and the

thing is a lot of people made a ton of money on this run up but now if you're

just holding Bitcoin it's very hard to make money here right at this

point it's pretty difficult to make money because bitcoin is going down so

our options are obviously on this channel we talk a ton about alt coins so

you can always make money with all coins however those are riskier than what I'm

about to show you because hash flare is a Bitcoin mining a cloud mining platform

I use hash player and I use Genesis mining I have more power mining power on

Genesis mining I only recently started using hash flare so always try and build

that up I'm gonna use the reinvesting tool I'm gonna keep reinvesting whenever

I feel like I want to reinvest currently we are at 11 Terra hash which is roughly

$2,000 worth I believe C 10.5 Terra hash what's that 10.5 Terra hash 2,300

dollars that we used right here to get this little bit more but yeah and it's

paying us out seventeen dollars a day like I said now it's lower because

Bitcoin price is lower you get paid out in Bitcoin so currently the value that I

get paid out is lower however it's been up to like $30 depending on the price

but thing is this you're paid on Bitcoin so as long as you hold it and the value

goes up again later you're making money right you're gonna make money on the on

the way up when Bitcoin goes back up and test its all-time high twenty thousand

gonna make a lot of money there but you're also stacking up your Bitcoin

right now and not leaving your money in u.s. dollars right which isn't it

doesn't really do anything in u.s. dollars but at least this way you're

actually making some more money so that's one of the things that I love

about this platform is that I love seeing everyone struggle on red Daisy oh

there are red days for all coins too sometimes there's a pump and after that

there's a dump and a lot of people you know kind of get worried and sell off

and blah blah because they're you know they invested all they have into the all

coin and it didn't work out so what I like to do is diversify I have my alt

coins I have my Bitcoin and then I have other platforms where I do you know I

pick connect for lending I use hash flare for an Genesis mining for cloud

mining that way even when everything is red I am still making money and I am

still comfortable with money I'm making so that's one of the

greatest things so I want to calculate tip with you guys Noakes I know a lot of

people say a blog people aren't sure if mining a bitcoin is actually profitable

so that's what I'm gonna go with a throw through right now apparently one Bitcoin

equals fifteen thousand dollars here just shows how price varies so much

depending on what where you are what you're using point market cap says one

thing coinbase might say another G Dax might say another so you know now here

it says fifty thousands you leave everything here default I know the pool

fees are actually seventeen percent so I'm gonna plug that in you have no power

you have no power cost none of that right that's it's awesome you just get

paid out the fees get deducted before they pay you out and it's great and what

I like to do what I like to recommend people do you don't have to start with

this amount but I like to start with of roughly a thousand dollars because that

way you actually get a better return if you start with less the return is

smaller obviously again if you only have a hundred dollars to invest by all means

invest one hundred dollars it's gonna take longer for it to go up for you to

reach twenty dollars a day thirty dollars a day four dollars a day but hey

you have to start somewhere if you keep reinvesting it it really does add up

maybe at the end of this video I'll show you guys actually the the reinvesting I

have another video on it but maybe I'll show you guys the end of this video

depending on if we have time so what I'm gonna be doing here is I'm gonna do you

know a thousand dollar set thousand and twelve dollars right which gives us four

point six tara hash so four point six tear hash is a 4,600

Giga hash and that's gonna cost us a thousand and twelve dollars right

thousand twelve dollars when we click calculate it's gonna take us a hundred

and thirty five days to break-even right these contracts are one-year contract so

uh-huh so 365 days - 135 days you guys can see that 230 days out of the year

out of the whole year your contract is just making you pure prop and that is at

the price bitcoins that right now you know obviously the difficulty will

increase as well but if the price does increase

quilty doesn't increase obviously I know the difficulty is going to increase but

it is hard for me to plug in a value I just want to show you guys the price

goes back up to $20,000 for example it's gonna take us a hundred days to

break-even yet two hundred sixty-five days of pure profit so I just wanted to

kind of show you guys that let's just go back and put in the original value no no

no put this back Oh fifteen thousand zero ten 2.80 right

here we go we're back 235 days and with your $1000 alone or one thousand not

loan contract you're gonna be making seven dollars and 46 cents after fees

and eight basically nine dollars before fees you're gonna be making two thousand

seven hundred and twenty three dollars after fees at the end of the year so you

basically more than doubled your money it's a great ROI and I know that I'm

gonna be making this money for ever as long as my contracts there and if I keep

reinvesting then it really will be you know if I don't need to pull out the

Mike and keep reinvesting or if I reinvest half whatever I choose to do I

know this number is gonna keep growing and I'm still gonna get paid out every

single day now let's just do a daily compound compound I can't type let's do

a daily compound calculate to show you guys a little bit what it would look

like so let's say you initially invested $1,000 currently the payout is it's not

great maybe I'm gonna I'm gonna put 0.85 I guess you put 0.9 again it's been up

to higher than 1% when Bitcoin price is higher so very hard to actually

calculate it do 365 days initially let's say you don't reinvest include weekends

of course we do this is cryptocurrency there's always weekends and you'll see

at the end before fees obviously you get $3,100 so it's roughly about the same as

here you know my I put in is 0.85 so maybe this might be a little higher this

is 0.9

see if this makes it a little closer yeah here we go 3285 3281 pretty damn

close you're getting paid out 0.9% before fees so after fees it's gonna be

0.85 some leg maybe he 0.8 after fees right we'll just use that 0.8 after fees

which is 292 percent on your money obviously we know here it's a little bit

less but still that's not the point the point is I'm gonna show you guys the

reinvesting what happens if you were to pull out half and you were to reinvest

half right then obviously every time you reinvest that reinvest starts a new

one-year contract so that's going to keep going for longer than your initial

contract right keep that in mind can't to play it out there's no

calculator that actually does that for us but if you reinvest half and you pull

out half then you withdrew three thousand two hundred ninety three

dollars at the end of the year and what it's actually let's take a look over

here why don't we look over here and you're gonna have four thousand two

hundred and ninety three dollars invested taken out three thousand two

hundred ninety three this much invested paying you out thirty four dollars a day

so you already increased the amount of money you are initially going to be

making to be making now thirty four dollars every single day when you

started off making eight dollars right so that's one of the things I really

really like about this it can multiply so fast if you guys want to see the next

year let's see if you have the next year and if you start off with four thousand

dollars invested let's just say four thousand dollars invested the next year

right you have four thousand same thing you're gonna take out fifty percent

you're gonna add you're gonna cash out fifty percent and you're gonna reinvest

50 percent guys the end the year you're already at the double-digit the five

digits not the double-digit thousands I guess twenty six thousand dollars you're

gonna pulled out thirteen thousand dollars don't forget you only started

with a one thousand dollar investment so guys if you believe in Bitcoin and you

think you know Bitcoin is gonna be there for a while then there's no reason for

this not to be here for a while why mining won't be here for a while so

honestly this is right now one of my favorite ways to make money just because

it's so passive and there there's not actually anything

involved for me to do I just login every single day and see you know what's my

Bitcoin level at how much did I make obviously it varies again with Bitcoin

price you can see how much per one tear hash how much Bitcoin I made it's

actually a lot of fun and like I said when you start to reinvest stuff like

that it is crazy the amount of money that you end up making so guys if you

are interested in hash flair and you want to start getting involved I have a

link in the description for you guys super easy what you do you can pay with

a lot of different methods so let's say you want to do a hundred tear as you're

gonna pay $22,000 let's pretend this is what you're doing right now right you're

gonna go by and you're gonna click purchase right nope nope they'll do

something wrong apparently I did something wrong you're gonna come here

I'm gonna put the amount you want you're gonna click proceed there we go so now

you're gonna have options to select payment method here you go so you're

gonna be able to either pay with Bitcoin I can pay with the Bitcoin to give you

one point six six Bitcoin I can pay with my balance which I don't have enough I

can pay with Bitcoin in which case you know you can if you have Bitcoin in your

coin base I'm gonna leave the link link for coinbase also if you guys need to

buy some Bitcoin and he purchased over $100 gets you $10 free a Bitcoin so

there you go a free Bitcoin but you can transfer that over and pay with Bitcoin

you can pay from your balance in here which obviously if you are a beginner

you're not gonna have a balance though don't worry about that you can wire

transfer it you can pay with credit card yupi pay pay with credit cards see i

don't actually know what UPSC are pay with Payoneer I don't use any of that I

just usually pay for my balance or pay with a Bitcoin because by far the

Guardians of the Galaxy #148 Review - Duration: 2:53.

Written by Gerry Duggan Penciled by Marcus To

Eve shows Rider and Star Lord what they've been hiding - a gigantic Infinity Stone.

They return to The Rock with a plan...

They tell Adsit they found a Nova graveyard and space pirates had taken over the outpost.

Meanwhile Rocket continues his internal affairs investigation, even getting a promotion.

Elsewhere in the galaxy, Drax finally finds Xian and his Nova crew.

The explanation that Thanos simply broke out of his prisoner transport doesn't fool him.

He tells Drax they threw Thanos into a black hole, while another corpsman reveals another

group of Ultron-infected refugees.

Xian moves to execute them but Drax stops him.

Suddenly one of them speaks to him telepathically.

It turns out that Thanos was released as a bargain that he wouldn't attack Xian's true

masters - The Raptors.

Drax moves to arrest the traitors but one of them heard he was now a pacifist.

Turns out he heard wrong.

The criminals board the ship and Drax explains to the refugees they won't be safe anywhere

they go.

He instead gifts them a shuttle and they leave, in the Guardians' favor.

When he returns to The Rock, he tells Adsit that Xian's crew were Shi'ar spies.

Peter Quill admonishes Gamora for not telling him Rich Rider was alive.

She asks if they found anything interesting and he repays the favor to her by telling

her that no, they did not.

Drax boards The Milano feeling depressed.

He puts on a Springsteen tune and almost plays his saxophone before changing his mind.

The issue wraps on Nowhere, with one of the Groot-clones attacking an alien.

He calls for backup and gets it in the form of a flame thrower, burning the giant flora

to death.

There Cosmo the Spacedog has heeded his call.

He later asks for his helmet.

He needs to find the Guardians of the Galaxy - and with that, this issue is to be continued.

Obviously it's always nice to check in with one of the original Guardians lineups, and

with Nova and soon to be Cosmo, it appears that's the gameplan.

This series concludes in just 2 more issues, later to coincide with what I assume is synergy

with the Infinity stone quests.

How long until the return of Adam Warlock?

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

For this one, I give it an 8/10.

Diaper Bag Review - Koala Baby - Duration: 3:38.

in this video I review the Koala baby multitasker 5-piece diaper bag set a

great option with lots of features that I will break down for you stay tuned

hi I'm Amanda and welcome to parent pacifier on this channel we share

parenting tips stories and product reviews just like this one if you're new

here consider subscribing and hitting that Bell icon so you never miss a video

this is the Koala baby 5 piece multi tasker diaper bag set I really like this

bag it's beautiful it's actually very easy to clean and super spacious and has

a lot of pockets I also like how long the straps are they're super long but

not too bad where you feel like you're carrying a luggage with you

it has also a nice little second bag in here as well I really like that as well

and I'm gonna dive into that in a second but on the outside its really awesome

how it has a lot of different pockets in it you can easily reach behind you in

the car or even reach behind you while you're carrying it and just dip in your

hand real quick grab something easy it also has different pockets on the

side as well it's not just two big ones here it has

two on the side so inside it has a separate diaper bag it's nice and cute

nice and small but also has a lot of different pockets as well the changing

pad that's included is not too big so it's pretty good for if you have a

little small baby but as your baby grows you may need to get a little bit of a

bigger one it also comes with a bottle holder as well I kind of wish this was a

thermal because it can keep your bottles nice and warm or if they're even cold so

that is one thing I'm kind of disappointed with this has a lot of

pockets in front like I said and also has them on the side just like the big

bag itself so it can fit your diapers it can fit your wipes in here it could fit

your ointment cream in here it could fit a lot of different things in here

including these too if you prefer them inside and it has a zipper what I like

to do is leave this in the car with all the extra diapers and wipes and clothes

I may need and just take the I'm the go with me also has a nice

length strap so you can put it over your shoulder and it's easy to carry like a

little pocket book inside the big bag is attached an accessory bag I really like

this because people use it for their keys and everything but if your babies

like mine they pee through their things they

poop through their things and I need to rinse things right away before they

leave a lot of stains so I put the wet clothing in this little bag and it keeps

everything else dry inside so that's fun and it's attached to it so you never

lose it I really like this bag and recommend it if you're looking for a

spacious over-the-shoulder diaper bag that's easy for reach and organized if

you're looking to buy the Koala baby multitasker or add it to your registry

we provided the link in the description below question for you what is your

favorite over-the-shoulder diaper bag and why write it in the comments below

we are also providing a free downloadable diaper bag checklist you

Why Return of the Joker is the Best Batman Movie - A Review - Duration: 19:49.

Let's take a step back in time way back to

2002

you're an 11 year old boy on the cusp of puberty with a goth older sister who you think is the coolest person on the

Planet and you're looking for goth things that you can be like her

This is the ox and the hot thing is new metal

And you remember this VHS tape that she was watching that had something to do with metal and also was the same as that cartoon

With the cool robot that you liked a new figure yeah

I'll watch this so you pop the tape into the VHS sit down and this happens

This

this thing

hair the dress the dancing

This is the coolest thing your early-2000s brain has ever seen this just utterly blows your mind

Nothing could possibly top this. Then the movie itself starts, and it's just... no, forget that music video.

THIS is the coolest thing you've ever seen in your life

And that tape is so good that it fundamentally changes your feelings on Batman. On superheroes. On villains. On

cartoons in general.

Back in January of last year I had this idea to watch all of Batman Beyond in order from start to finish

In order to not get burnt out with a binge and give up halfway through I'd watch one episode a week. And in

order to keep myself committed to the rewatch I'd write reviews of each episode as I watched them

This project turned into my tumblr, BatmanBeyondReviews

Eventually as I worked on the reviews

I realized that there were other

topics that I wanted to talk about, which led to the creation of this YouTube channel and my first video.

It's been a year since I started BatmanBeyondReviews,

and I have officially watched all 52 episodes of Batman Beyond. And honestly, this has been a long

strangely emotional journey for me.

I've loved Batman Beyond for years,

but a few years ago the series became linked with a dark and traumatic period of my life which

killed a lot of my enjoyment of the series.

BatmanBeyondReviews was essentially a way of moving past that trauma and

finding a new enjoyment in the series that had dominated my life for nearly two decades before.

So with my last review,

I feel like I'm ending an important chapter of my life. One of healing and growth.

My reviews have been for myself first and foremost,

but as the year has gone on more than 200 people have joined me on my journey

and I'm happy that my reviews have resonated with so many people.

But if we're going to end, this we've got to end this right.

There's one more review that I have to do.

A review that in a way has been on my mind since I was 11 years old.

A movie that was a watershed film for me. That I would not be the person I am today if I had not watched it.

It's at a standard that all their superheroes must meet. So if it seems like I'm a bit biased - yes,

I am, absolutely, but I managed to handle my reviews of the series in an objective way,

so I'm going to be following my own format for the rest of this video.

Oh yeah. It's time to review Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.

Have you ever had a movie that you've just seen so many times that the plot is ingrained into your very being?

Something that you've seen over and over to the point that it's just a part of you? Where you know every line of dialogue

every action beat, where you just know and have absorbed all of it?

I stared at this page for days trying to figure out how to really talk about the plot of this movie,

which is difficult because there's just so much to talk about and I honestly don't want to spoil anything if you haven't already seen it.

There are some amazing twists and turns, and they really need to be enjoyed.

But to talk about how well the plot is handled, here's a really quick recap.

So a gang of Joker's have been stealing large industrial technology, which is unusual for a group of petty thieves and vandals.

They are employed by a person who seems to be the Joker, except

he's far too young and spry to really be THE Joker.

But he soon makes his presence known to Bruce, who is in shock because, as Terry puts it: You killed him didn't you?

He was going to do something so terrible you had no other choice.

Bruce asks Terry to give up being Batman as a way to protect him,

but Terry rebels. When the Jokerz go after Terry - not Batman

but Terry - and then Bruce, Terry demands the truth from the only other person who knows it.

He learns the fate of the Joker and the worst thing the Joker has ever done.

From there the heat is on to figure out what's going on and who's really behind this impossible Joker

before the Clown Prince of Crime can wipe out Gotham with a weapons satellite jammer.

The thing about the plot is that this plot pushes the envelope of what is expected of American children's animation.

This should come as no surprise as the powerhouse team of Bruce Timm and Paul Dini,

known for it is alternatively called the Timmverse or the Diniverse or by its official name,

The DC Animated Universe, are well known and respected for their mature take on superheroes.

I'd call it 'adult' but in this day and age adult takes up on superheroes tend to mean something like this

Adult seems to mean 'superheroes are dumb and must be fundamentally changed to be palatable.'

Which is not what the DCAU did. The DCAU

embraced the superhuman and the heroic in their properties instead of just making things dark.

That said, when it comes to being dark, Return of the Joker is about as dark as you can get

The movie is rather infamous due to the fact that the widely released version is unrated while the director's cut received a hard R.

And according to Bruce Timm, the original drafts of the film were even

darker, to the point Warner Brothers kept asking for more and more cuts.

This was always meant to be a hard-edged film, going to places that American cartoons never go and

challenging even where a Batman film in general can go.

This plot is complex, with a powerful emotional cord that runs throughout it.

A major theme is trauma and how people cope with trauma,

specifically how men bury their emotions and how a lack of communication

hampers personal growth and allows for trauma to keep grip on one's entire psyche.

The story asserts that PTSD is a monster lurking inside anyone who has been through trauma,

threatening to take over and turn people who are once bright and effervescent

Into entirely different people. That trauma can make someone lash out and continue cycles of abuse.

Although in this case,

it's a very literal way of saying this. And

this is all couch through the language of superheroes, bringing to light for the first time in a children's medium the idea that

superheroes live lives steeped in trauma. I first saw it when I was around 11 years old and it blew my mind.

I had never thought about why Batman had never killed the Joker or about what it would be like to leave a vigilante

lifestyle. And while recent superhero movies have tried. I don't think any of them have really properly addressed these issues.

They seek heavy themes, they seek darkness, they seek redemption arcs, but none of those things can be achieved without a clear vision.

Return of the Joker had a vision, a purpose. To answer the questions: what happened to the Joker? What happened to Robin?

What happens, inevitably, to superheroes? In finding those answers the film creates a wickedly dark, at times funny, and

overall deeply enthralling narrative that almost didn't make it to audiences. The creators understood their characters

and how to handle them, most notably the film's villain and the film's protagonist.

I have nothing against Heath Ledger, may he rest in peace,

but whenever I hear people talk about his version of the Joker,

they talk about it as if it is the definitive version of the character. And I'm sorry,

but Ledger's Joker cannot hold a candle to Mark Hamill's.

Specifically Hamill in this role. If this film had been released in theaters. This would have been a career-defining rule for Hamill,

I'm sure. This should be the gold standard of the Joker. Not Nicholson, not Ledger, not whatever

horseshit this is.

This version of the Joker is pure distilled nightmare clown.

And that is in large part thinks the specific inspiration for this particular Joker.

The thing about the Joker as a character is that each version brings something unique to the table

Don't like the camp of Romero? Well, Nicholson has a darker take. Want something even grittier and more realistic? Here's Ledger.

Hamill's Joker holds a particular place in the Joker line-up.

He's more manic and chaotic than Nicholson, but more fun and flashy than Ledger. He's charismatic, but creepy.

Then Return of the Joker came along and he was given a bit of a makeover and an updated

personality, and that catapulted him up to the top of the stack when it comes to creepy.

So let's talk about design first.

The Joker's design from Batman: The Animated Series was good, taking most of its inspiration pretty directly from the original comic

appearances of the character, with a sharper, sleeker look.

For Return of the Joker, the art team had a difficult time coming up with the right

redesign for him until they started sharing a copy of Thomas Harris's recently released novel 'Hannibal'.

The descriptions of the titular Hannibal Lecter as a looming figure with red eyes and slicked back hair

proved to be the perfect inspiration for this new Joker. All the details are stripped away, the purple zoot suit replaced with a black bodysuit,

leaving only his face and hands. And those hands. Bruce Timm described them as strangler hands,

which is all you really need to know about this Joker. this Joker is willing to get his hands dirty.

His design was more serial killer than Clown Prince of Crime and that alone ups his intimidation factor.

But design alone can't carry a character, and what makes this joker stand out is how deeply sinister

he is in a way that no other Joker has managed to capture.

Forget sticking bombs inside of guys or sending dead rats to coworkers,

this Joker is the worst threat that Batman has ever faced, because he's the only one to get truly personal.

In a move that is obviously inspired by the controversial death of the Robin Jason Todd in the comics,

this Joker kidnaps and tortures Robin Tim Drake to the breaking point. All for what, exactly? To start a family?

No, while Joker plays at a relationship with Harley,

it's a horrible power imbalance, and he doesn't really care about her wants or needs. No,

he does this purely to hurt Batman, because he knows Bruce will not kill him.

It's an almost self-destructive act. Either it will finally destroy Batman, therefore taking away

The Joker's main source of fun, or it will push Bruce far enough to result in the Joker's death.

Joker hits Batman where it'll hurt the most,

taking away his surrogate family from him and then mocking him once

he finds out that that family is really all that Bruce wanted in the end.

This one act brings to light all the weaknesses of Batman as a character and the series' Bruce never recovers from it.

To go back to the idea of trauma, this version of the Joker is essentially driven by the need to traumatize everyone connected to Batman.

And it's not enough for the Joker to just hurt Bruce, but to cause lasting psychological damage. Barbara puts

it best: The Joker sought to completely compromise Batman and his team, and he succeeded, something no other Joker has managed to do.

One of the major parts of any Batman's character motivation is the need for control

after a traumatic event, and with his twisted acts in this film, Joker shows Bruce that he can never have control.

This is what makes Hamill's Joker the single most effective Joker. Because Bruce's entire worldview has been permanently changed.

Bruce cannot bounce back from this.

But he doesn't have to.

Beyond had the good sense to know when to retire a character, something that pop culture in general has a problem with.

And it's through Bruce's replacement that we see the emotional triumph of the film.

From the word go, Terry has stood out as a radically different character from Bruce. Terry's everything Bruce isn't: a brash, cocky, arrogant kid,

intelligent, but doesn't apply himself, who came from very little and from whom society expects very little. Bruce has a kind of patriarchal authority

To him that worked in the unstable 1940s when America was just leaving the great depression and entering into a war,

but as we move further away in history from Batman's conception,

cracks begin to show in the character, with some authors going so far as to critique Batman for having noticeably fascist undertones.

Terry was created in the late 90s and it shows.

He is very much a gen Xer. He's everything expected from a cyberpunk protagonist:

self-taught,

self-reliant, but crushed under system of capitalism and an unfair justice system,

fighting back against corporate greed and corruption. A hero of the underclass, not just trying to fight crime but to make people's lives better.

Very early on in the film Terry lays out his motivations for continuing to be Batman:

I was a pretty bad kid once.

Ran with a rough crowd, broke a lot of laws, to say nothing of my folks' hearts.

The kind of punk you wouldn't have wasted a second punch on back in the day.

I'm trying to make up for past sins. I guess on a personal level

It's a chance to look like a worthwhile human being again.

In my eyes if no one else's.

It's what I want, Bruce. He's not in it for revenge, but for personal redemption,

and this is what makes him a compelling character to follow throughout the story.

This is a fully realized character with a more clearly defined goal than any other

Batman before him. His arc raises an interesting question for a vigilante story: should criminals, especially those abandoned by the system, have the

opportunity for redemption?

And in the end, does it matter who recognizes that redemption? Terry is motivated by a need for

self-actualization, and that makes him incredibly human.

Because Terry comes from a different world from Bruce, his approach is different.

I have seen Terry criticized as an heir to Batman because he's less of a thinker and more of a brawler,

but this movie makes it clear that just because he isn't well-educated,

doesn't mean that Terry isn't smart. Bruce knows how to scare people, but Terry truly understands people.

And that's why he's able to do something Bruce has never been able to achieve:

He can get under the Joker's skin. Just by talking to him. Get a clue, Clowny. He's got no sense of humor.

He wouldn't know a good joke if it bit him in a cape.

Not that you ever had a good joke. Shut up. Shut up! The final fight of the movie is the best Batman vs

Joker fight ever put to the film. It highlights why Bruce could never win against the Joker, and displays a rise of a new generation.

There's something chilling about how easily Terry can get into the Joker's head,

and it's so satisfying when it happens. In a way,

this is the only way Terry could have defeated the Joker, because the Joker is the film's metaphor for trauma.

We cannot defeat our trauma by physically fighting it.

It's through this final fight that Terry defeats the trauma that lingers over the film.

He confronts Bruce's trauma, but also confronts his own,

lingering from his time in juvie. This is clear because it is Terry's actions that finally allow Bruce to open up and address his own

feelings about the Joker's death.

It isn't just the trauma that Terry is dealing with though. Remember,

he is also fighting for self-actualization, and in the end he achieves it. More than that, he comes to understand

that is not Batman who makes him worthwhile,

but it's he who makes Batman worthwhile. While other Batman films harp on the idea that Batman is an idea,

this is the only one that takes it in another direction,

That it is the human person within the concept of Batman that makes for such a powerful symbol.

It's an uplifting message, showing every punk and screw-up that they have an inner value and are capable of redemption. Capable of being heroes.

The growth of all the other characters is due to Terry. He drives the movie, carrying all of its emotional weight.

This is the height of Terry's character development; a hero,

but also sort of therapist, driving away the demons that haunt Gotham, proving himself to be a worthwhile successor to the mantle of Batman

because he is already an incredible person. The new generation brings with it a new approach, one based not on fear but on

understanding and feeling.

Even if it is through a macho 90's cybergoth filter.

If this were a written review, this is where I would give the movie a rating.

But if I did, the movie

would be off the scale. It can't be compared to the rest of the show because it's in a league all its own.

It's something far more than a simple little direct-to-video movie.

It is a definitive statement on who the Joker is and what Batman stands for; on the trauma lurking at the core of Batman as

a character and a final act of triumph over that trauma.

It puts its stamp on these characters in a way that nothing else can.

The creators of Batman Beyond had a little story about how they felt when they were asked by the studio to create a

teenaged Batman series. They discuss how the idea was repellent to them, how they wanted to quit.

But instead they put thought and care into it and turned out an amazing new series that leaves the status quo of Batman in the

dust and, eventually led to this movie. And they created something amazing.

Something that sadly has never been accepted into the larger canon of Batman movies.

Perhaps because it's a cartoon, perhaps because it's direct-to-video, perhaps because it's not Bruce under the cowl.

But if I have any real goal with this video and with this year's worth of videos that I have posted to tumblr,

it's that I hope people remember Batman Beyond and give it a chance.

I want other people to be able to appreciate Batman Beyond as much as I have.

And finally, I want to heal from my own trauma.

This is a movie about healing.

It's a movie about recovery from the darkest possible depths of evil, About rising above society's expectations and being a hero.

The plot, villain, and character growth pack an

extraordinary punch for Saturday morning cartoon, to say nothing of the gorgeous animation, fantastic voice acting, or

visceral and stunning fight scenes. It goes where no other Batman movie has really tread,

It takes risks with the story and the characters, and all of those risks paid off in abundance.

So call it nostalgia, call it fanboying, call it whatever you want.

But I will maintain with all my heart that Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker is the best Batman movie ever made.

Until they make a live-action Batman Beyond movie

Come on Warner Brothers, Clint Eastwood is the perfect choice for Batman you gotta make this before he dies.

Go, go get on that. Go. Go.

Thank you for watching this video,

and thank you to everybody who has been following my reviews for the past year. It has been a trip

doing them

and I don't really know what I'm going to do with myself now that I'm

done. Actually, no, I do. I am going to be launching Wright Reviews,

where I will be watching Kamen Rider Kabuto starting next week.

So please follow me on tumblr. If you like this video, and you want to see more like it, please like, share, and subscribe.

Although I will say it's gonna be a little while until I do another Batman Beyond video.

I've got other topics that I want to talk about.

Thanks for watching, and I'll see you next time.

Music: "Summer's Gone," by Pretty Lights

I'm Melanie Salemi, and I'm a drag racer

Describe the feeling in that car when you hit it...

Well, I'm pretty comfortable in there

and pretty calm so I don't get too worked up, and if I do, I try to talk on

the radio a lot. I don't know I've done it so many times that the adrenaline is

there but I'm just there doing my job. I bet you fifty dollars he's like I bet

you $100 that it won't happen. When I tell you something you should

believe me... Jim: But we lost... a bet's a bet...

It happened. So now I have the button, and the hundred bucks!

I gotta cook, I have to clean, I have to organize all these guys...

I have to keep them under control...

Dude: Really?

Heck yeah! Especially him!

Hey there's my young lad brother right there. Put my Zed 28 in the laneway...

So we're here at Lancaster National dragway for the family and friends night...

Also known as ladies night... ladies night, yes...

This is ladies night...

How was that run right there? Oh I left good and then it went "bump"...

So then I lifted. Two in a row! We did it! We had whopping 5.44 right? Mel: Yeah, that's my

best personal time here at Lancaster. Yeah at 82 miles an hour and

pretty sure the junior dragsters go faster than that!

I've been 82 miles an hour here, in a junior dragster that has 35 horsepower... and that's it, folks!

When I say she's one of the best drivers that I've ever worked with, what

I mean by that is she takes direction like nobody else that I've ever worked with.

That's something I pride myself on...because

they taught me how to drive a pro modified car which is completely

different than driving my seven-second dragster. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't

know how to do this.

Jon: I love you! Mel: the Aruba car won in front and I said "I wanna go to Aruba" he goes "if you win

this round we'll go"...we usually eat dinner when the races are finished that could

be at 3am, or 5:30am if you win.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Spoiler Review and All Nine Star Wars Movies Ranked from Worst to Best - Duration: 1:18:29.

hello everyone this is Jonavon and today I have Jack yeah and today we're gonna

be talking about Star Wars the last Jedi just let you guys know this is the first

time what we're gonna be calling movie hang outs as a podcast type of thing

whereas to be talking about movies or a different topics related to the film

industry and just let you guys know this is a spoiler review so if you get

spoiled we can't be how responsible click off this video now yeah it's

already been two weeks oh and we seen the movie multiple times but if you

don't care about being spoiled yeah I mean hopefully you have so does let you

guys know it yes just watch it see it for yourself it's been getting a lot of

controversy but we still recommend it okay so you wanna talk about the opening

battle what did you like and what didn't you like what did you like what the

crawl yeah I can see how that could lead to some confusion yeah it's kind of

based on if they do that you could have explained the

mortgage but certainly it does that timing was a bit off and I noticed that

when I was watching the movie but me at the same time I mean I could see why

you'd say that and how that could lead to some confusion

yeah they could done at the end of the force awakens if they wanted to yeah and

I would have to say that oh yeah the comedy with ice yeah I can't hear you

that was so funny at the beginning of the movie and I was expecting them to

have that that comedic twist right off the bat

very potent babies these kind of urban trick yeah and just to piggyback off

what you say about the Spaceballs these are some of the most entertaining I've

seen of any Star Wars movie and for probably the first time I'm watching a

Star Wars movie I actually paid strict attention to the space battles I'm like

okay I actually like this like I'm actually into the space battles as much

as I am as to everything else that's going on in the movie you definitely

have to and with that scene where they take out the dread-nots with roses

sister that was definitely lens yeah that's

that's her sister

yes it was and it definitely kept me engaged in the first part of the movie

but I would have to say yeah but I would have to say that for Poe I'm glad that

we saw more of him at the game because it's just like the last movie we see Poe

at the beginning of the force awakens half began the last dinosaur just knows

that pattern like okay that's nice I'm glad Ryan Johnson did that

I'm sorry for talking about the hearing coming up beginning but there's a

champion with Kobe to do self trade seeing it the personally oh yeah oh yeah

I noticed that ceiling like oh wait po and Wright never met each other like I

just realized that something I didn't think about at all he's definitely his

and I'm glad we saw more PO in this movie because he was one of the

characters he was in the force awakens he was prominent but I want to see more

of it I want to see more personality from him because I no idea he doesn't

show up to like towards the end of the movie I'm glad they didn't do another

gigantic space thing like like the Deaf star because that was just been tired

and wouldn't have liked to see it at all so I'm glad they switched that up now

when Polk comes back on the ship of course Leia gets on him about all those

lives our costs and think that was like just like you said it set it up how this

is probably this is maybe the most next two rogue one in Venice it may be the

one with the more gruesome Star Wars movies as far as the body count is

concerned yes yes but just know

I returned the jitter last jedi-like I believe in small just like your father I

think that sort of keeping the week yeah and we're definitely gonna talk about

kylo Ren later he's gonna get his own section cuz I'm just gonna name it right

now yeah it's easily one of my favorite parts of the movie the it's funny

because just like the Huck's and poke humor I wasn't expecting to just throw

his lightsaber like that like oh yeah I

was just laughing like Snoke has everybody in check

I think interesting the way they kind of present ray from the first movie they're

not mystic there I was going there and trying to do it right yeah that's

definitely one aspect I liked about Luke in this movie I don't know if like other

Star Wars friends liked it but it's just one of those aspects of the last guy

that why I like it so much because it's not what you expect you expect Oh Luke

he's gonna come up and join the resistance but like he said to raid the

expect me just face the entire first order of my laser sword I mean obviously

that didn't happen at least not in the way we think but at the same time Luke

he's a recluse and he reminds me of a little bit like he's a cynical version

of obi-wan from episode 4 because like an episode for Luke is the one who comes

to obi-wan asking well he just actually he stumbles upon obi-wan and we see

lay-up asked him obi-wan for help and now that the roles are reversed with

Luke we see that he's the one who's cynical and that reminds me of when he's

with r2d2 and she actually plays the Leia clip about help me obi-wan Kenobi

we need your I know help me overcome Toby you're my only hope

yeah

tamo vice-admiral hold oh yeah yeah that was yeah I was gonna mention that if you

weren't I was confused because I mean we're skipping around of course but when

even when po held her at gunpoint she still didn't let on the plan like you

could have told pony would have stopped right then and there

would you let it carry on into a mutiny

yeah

so that you know they sold delicious I mean I understand but I guess if you

want to play devil's advocate you could say that pose a hot head and that she

maybe didn't trust them like that I mean that's the only defense I could think of

for that plot line but yeah I can go ahead that Lucan the whole Luke and Rhea

dynamic is is maybe my favorite aspect of the movie because it reminded me so

much of Yoda and Luke back in episode five and I don't I don't blame them for

copying new hope because I realized that I mean here's what I think the prequels

we're similar to how to defeat helps us take away I think it's more yeah

and just and do you want to talk about puppet Yoda since we were representing

him so much yes I'm glad he wasn't the prequel CGI Yoda I'm glad they took it

back to puppy Yoda cuz it definitely and did you and also with Yoda he was he was

a wisecrack I mean he made the jokes just like he was with Luke like years

before and the the shots were a bit similar I noticed that how and remember

when I think I'm trying remember correctly remember when Luke and Yoda

were in episode 5 remember they like sitting the way they were sitting with

each other is summer to how they were sitting in this movie so I thought that

was just a nice touch yeah

you know did you like yes I did oh yeah he just that was a nice

I wasn't expecting Yoda to be the one to just just burn everything up because

when I think of y'all I think he's the Jedi who is by the book but then again

at the same time Ray has all that she needs yeah yeah that I know like Ray has

the she has a text yeah did Luke did Luke yeah I was like did Luke know that

because he thinks that Yoda burn them but you're just think so but it's

definitely one just another comedic moment in the movie that I enjoyed now

do you want to talk about ray and Kyle owes them seeing each other through the

force because of Snoke

well not necessarily him without a shirt but just them talking to each other in

general and also I love the part where Luke asked her hey what's going on it's

like nothing I'll just cleaning off my blaster and I love like been like are

they nuns those creatures on the planet with them like you know what I'm talking

about right you know I'm talking about right those creatures on the planet with

Luke and Ray are they like nuns I guess

yeah like caretakers those are mine say oh yeah I like the port's what's the

story behind the port's

okay I didn't know that I thought they were made for liking marketing and PL to

kids okay yeah I'm glad they didn't go that ye walk rap because me we are

seeing he walks before they're nice but I mean the poor is just exactly now do

you want to talk you want to quickly talk about lay oh and that scene where

she's blasted out of the ship and she uses the force - yeah I was a bit

confused and in no time the Jedi the only thing I could think of is that you

could say that the force awakened in her at that moment in time

I think they just wanted to give Leia moment more than anything else with Kyle

Kyle oh yeah yeah cuz they have that yeah this is nice segue into Finn and

Rose actually because they have that tracking device they were actually I

mean I actually like the whole cat-and-mouse thing that was going on in

the movie where their first order is tracking down the resistance but here's

my thing if the first order is tracking them down like that how we're Finn and

Rose able to go away from the resistance ship and go off to another planet

without being tracked somehow

okay well they were doing well go ahead

I mean that's what Vice Admiral Holder was getting to by sending everybody off

to that crate the planet well you make good point there in that aspect as far

as if the pole points leave why not just get rid of rose yeah and but now just

what did you think about the Finn Rose dynamic

yeah cuz I said no site a like towards even like ray is clearly looking at Finn

while he is looking at Rosa like hope they'd also have a love triangle I mean

technically it wasn't pointless but at the same time I could see why you can

say it was pointless yeah we can just go ahead and dive into talking about that

subplot so the subplot is they need to find this hacker who can hack yeah yeah

yeah I have to realize that they've been tracked through Lightspeed they realize

okay we need to go this other planet we need to get that master hacker so we can

go on to the lead ship of the first-order hack the system so they

won't be tracked anymore and in the process they go to this

planet a casino planet I don't know its name and oh yeah can't

I bite and I'll have to say that I didn't dislike this subplot on the

casino plan I thought it just can't tribute it to the slow pacing in the

movie during the middle and but we did get some nice

the kind of rent that the Beyonce being kicked out because of a parking

violation but we also have to talk about that scene when Finn that scene when

Finn and Rose are outside the animals in her backstory

podracers

they can feel a bit of that monster thinking hog race they do poverty and

for the main characters on the kata razors and they have applied to the city

personally I thought that would have been fun and we've been nice come back

to episode one I don't know if they want to reintroduce podracing all those

memories at some Star Wars fans have with that yeah I saw actually mixed

reaction of the podracing but yeah me too and then did feel like filler a

little bit and then they get thrown in jail then we have Benicio Del Toro's

character what is his name again I'm trying to DJ right DJ that's his name

yeah as long as it I'll just beat just beat it over your head and just subtly

do it yeah like that's war at the end of the day the arms dealers trying to make

money so it doesn't matter he's not loyal to a certain side

and unlike that I like you know when I thought about that and how he told Finn

that I was thinking like at the same time fan he himself switched sides from

first word to the resistance so now just in my mind as I was watching it and then

they go on to the lead ship of the first order

DJ hacks it

trying to and obviously as the resistance trying to flee it's funny

that resistance is trying to flee now at the same time Finn Rose they get caught

by captain phasma you know one of the issues I had with this movie was I was

wishing that captain captain phasma it was just give her a few scenes here and

there like just remind the artists to hey she exists then just going about

their way

just because a feeling text because return then that rivalry could work if

you're going to do that other trilogy yeah Rosen Peggy captured DJ turns into

a first order trade turn it reveals yeah that they're sending off ships

yeah definitely worried I remember when Luke looked out then

right yeah that's definitely see I was suspecting Snoke to have a big role in

this movie then he did because of course he was hyped up in the force awakens as

this menacing figure I mean he did shows some of that in this movie but I was

expecting a little more but for some reason I think they're gonna bring snook

back in some way and for episode 9 I

just have a feeling he'll come back in some way I just don't know how

I won't the fact that he has all this house on this application so much

stronger than any other opposed to me what make this movie was the fact that

some parts represent several scenes where Ray has been connected like her

yeah and how house-smoked was behind all that yeah and how Snoke uses his force

powers on right he did basically holds her up in the hair in the air with the

force and he just tortures her and then after that he this is this is this is

Stokes moment of arrogance just like the emperor's moment of arrogance that led

to both of their deaths we have this moment where Snoke envisions kylo he

will raise his lightsaber he will strike down Rey then BAM all of a sudden what

do we see Snoke is cut in half by a lightsaber that he grabbed from array

because kylo use the Force

yeah I love that scene where they were both fighting

I loved it so much yeah yeah because that's why I thought we have this we

have this moment where kylo ass ready to join him and rule in the galaxy it

reminded me of Revenge of the Sith when Anakin asked pad me rule the galaxy with

me that's exactly what I thought and I love this ring

I love razor acts like please don't do this not again it's like see I thought I

guessed correctly I thought to myself Rey's parents aren't

that special I think they're just hyping this up and it's just gonna lead to

nothing give me essentially was like didn't

little officially like people compared about series don't matter

and here's why I thought that the reveal of raise parent says basically nobody's

was great because it showed that you don't have to be from a powerful family

or famous family to be able to have force powers you can just be you can

literally be a nobody and the force awakens in you and you can be special

him fennan way kylo fennan who I don't think kylo just has I don't think I'll

has a romantic interest in Rae I think they just he just relates to her on some

level damn explosions

you know what happened see look here's what happens like hold oh she decides to

to go at lights achievement she makes a jump in space but she Rams the first

order ship which I thought I was wait I just there was a dead silence and

they're like is everything okay is something off the sound like okay that's

just dead silence cuz I was big concern for a second Finan phasma fight that was

a nice touch right there but let's talk about when kylo and Ray were struggling

for Anakin's lightsaber and it split in two I think I think she's gonna go back

to Luke's planet and craft a lightsaber

I don't want to see yeah just like Han Solo

but after Han Solo was killed you didn't see a we didn't get a funeral for Han in

this movie like he just died and that was it oh yeah kylo takes over as

supreme leader of the first order no I like when I like when Hux was about to

kill Kyle or just make sure he Devon Kyle son just wakes up it's like no I

feel like they're gonna play on that story long a bit more between Kyle oh

and Hudson episode 9 yes it is it's like it's like siblings it's like a sibling

rivalry between them yeah honestly yeah

I hope they put DJ more maybe is some kind of comedic relief in episode 9 and

honestly just to go back about the kylo and Huck's kylo is actually my favorite

character this new trilogy and I think Huck's I mean he reminds me of like the

Imperial officers from the original trilogy but like like you say he's given

more personality than those characters were

the conspirators eventually teittleman is angrier Darth vader-like it's me

huh is angrier yeah yeah I've never heard anybody say that Tarkan's one of

their favorites yeah that's why I love talking so much Kinesis no nonsense talk

about that last battle yeah how Kyle Oh like he has the walkers and like they

have the resistance pinned down to their base on crate and how okay so PO and a

group of other people including Finn and rose they go on these things and they

they go towards the battering ram well then that realize that yeah it's too

late we're not gonna be able to destroy it in time but Finn he's he's he's going

on a suicide mission this point he's got aiming straight for

the battering ram that the last moment Rose just knocks him off his path and

saves him in the process what did you think about honestly thought they're

going to kill off Finn right in there

yeah but then at the same time I'm glad they didn't because I loved John boyega

as Finn yeah and then there they're pinned even farther back than

what they were Luke Skywalker but oh wait there's more

he's

they did like he's he has a cut he doesn't have like the gray hair yeah I

certainly noticed that too like like you could tell I like you could yeah and I

can see that throughout the movie they were setting us up because I remember

when Luke told ray this is not going to go the way you think then BAM he shows

up as a projection

see this is this is why I love this like this is the smartest thing he could have

done he tells everybody like fire your guns on that man and bam that's one of

the smarts thing I've seen the villain do and move like don't waste time just

shoot at him yeah there's like Ben Kyle oh of course he's emotional he's like

I'm gonna go down there and face them and then we did that's definitely

something I laughed out like hugs is taking else from kylo Ren

kylo Ren is wait I want to mention for just a second

you notice how Finn was the one that found out that Luke was stalling no or

yeah one of them you know why didn't Luke tell anybody that he was stalling

you could have saved they could have honestly been gone from the salt planet

by that time if like he had told like hey guys I'm gonna go out there face

colouring I'm gonna stall you guys go ahead and go they just sit there waiting

that and either I don't remember either finger poke find out oh he's stalling

let's go they could have saved so much time but back to the Luke and kylo Ren

fight or lack thereof a fight but I'm not complaining about it I liked how

kylo Ren he's like so aggressive like he just wants to kill Luke and strike him

down then Luke's just obviously just owning him at this point and the whole

moon Luke said like I was actually gonna say that kylo reminds me of Anakin when

he was fighting Count Dooku in episode two how he was so aggressive and how

calm Dougal was a calm one yeah but that was a nice twist

I think it working is also least non-confrontational I also love colleges

yeah I love how he was staring at twin suns as he died that reminded me like

it's just like the beginning of his character journey in Episode four he's

staring at twin suns he dies looking at twin suns

I thought the movie was gonna in there because they were playing that music

yeah we have a kid who so just if you don't know what the kid at the end of

the movie of course like this is boiler so of course you should have seen it

he's one of the kids who helped Finn and Rose escape from the planet and we see

him

and we see that this kid he walks out of a room and he picks up a broom with the

force and he has a resistance ring that Rose gave him and he's just staring off

into the space I thought that was interesting honestly I don't think

they're gonna do anything with that kid I think they're just to symbolize that

there's still hope left in the galaxy but what do you think yeah I heard about

that

yeah that was my second thought I had like okay they might be setting up the

future trilogy already but we'll see when it happens hey what do you say you

know us another theory I have they might do a time jump between Episode eight and

nine maybe several years and that kid might come back and play a major role in

the next movie I mean it may not be like that big of a time jump like maybe when

the kids a teenager but that just thought I had my my

your time jump from one and it didn't work I don't think this this is actually

one of my favorite Star Wars movies I appreciate that it's bold and that it

played with all the fans expectations and I'm looking forward to episode 9

hopefully JJ Abrams doesn't give too much fanservice I hope he does Orien

Johnson did just that we weren't expecting any other and just to add on

to that if you're watching this and you've only seen the last Jedi one time

I highly recommend that you see it more than once because your opinion might

change for the better if you're on the fence about the movie because I saw it

twice and things started to make more sense and actually understand what Rian

Johnson was trying to do with this movie so just keep that in mind

I think it's more important with the receipt going into the movie the length

was really long for me I never watched it yeah it didn't bother me that much it

didn't feel like two and a half hours when I was watching it it it only felt

slowed like during the Finn and Rose plotline button that I was engaged in

and feel like two and a half hours to me going into it the first time yeah

did you see it at night I went to the morning showing because I I knew that

I'm most alert during the morning is two and a half hours let me not fall asleep

on watching this that's yeah I definitely understand that but if you

had to just quickly if you had to where would you place the last July and your

Star Wars ranking like yeah yeah I agree on that I thought was okay but

fourth I'd actually put it at second I know my list is it's different from like

a lot of people would be expecting cuz a lot of you expect oh you're gonna put

the original trilogy over the prequels mean that's true in a sense but this

here's my ranking quickly from worse the best Attack of the Clones Phantom Menace

a new hope then it's rogue one what yeah number

seven oh yeah number seven oh yeah see I don't think any Star Wars movie is bad

this is all personal preference this is all based off which movies do I like

more Revenge of the Sith

I think the controversial things needs like just because I think it's tough

between that enforcement the force awakens is actually my third favorite

Star Wars movie because wait let me quickly finish my list okay so after so

after it was rogue one then there's Empire Strikes Back

then there's wait okay that's five so that's that's then there's Empire

Strikes Back then there's Return of the Jedi force

awakens last item Revenge of the Sith but I made a whole entire Star Wars

ranking video back in the summer if you want to watch that I fully explain why I

think each movie goes where it does and I'll help you get it yeah yeah the link

will be it'll pop up on just like somewhere on your screen click on that

link and you can watch the video

we have the original - and honestly I love it is now I will admit although my

list is based on personal preference I will admit that the originals are better

made films I will say that much but when I make these lists like just like I

mentioned these are all based on personal preference which ones do I like

the most but if we were basing they're strictly off of which is the best made

film then my list would be entirely different yeah I had a big issue with

the Anakin and Padme love story yeah I definitely give credit to the originals

for they don't I don't take anything away from them but still I'm still the

guy I like the newer stuff better is just just more to my liking it smell

because I grew up watching them so that's why just like how people grew up

watching originals so

and pretend the cripples are kids like original Star Wars yeah yeah yeah

actually I think Revenge of the sisters the first movie I ever remember seeing

in the theater so like I have a special connection with that movie yeah I love

that excu or 616 types all the Jedi just get

wiped out by the clones definitely and that's why I helped make it's definitely

one the reasons why episode 3 is my favorite because that emotional depth it

had in the movie and just such a gripping moment well both movies are

dark like they're arguably the darkest Star Wars movie so I mean only makes

sense that we're talking about Revenge of the Sith yeah did you have anything

else you want to say okay yeah

yeah thank you guys so much for watching make sure you like and subscribe to the

channel if you're new and doesn't be tuned for more videos I'll see you guys

LEGO Ninjago Ninja Nightcrawler review! 70641 - Duration: 13:05.

hello this is the lego ninjago TV series not movie series ninja Nightcrawler

featuring one of the larger single-seat minifigs scaled cars that I've seen

certainly that I've had it's a quite a lot larger actually than I even expected

from looking at the pictures I feel like most of the angles I've seen have been

kind of like this where it just looks like a very low wide kind of muscular

sporty car but as you rotate it around look behind the cockpit and in front of

the rear tires look at that length there it's just so extended to hold this whole

weapon system now that weapon system is not as simple as just a couple of six

stud shooters one on either side they have an interesting mechanism that they

proudly declare as new for 2018 show you how that works in just a second after it

finishes letting you see how the whole thing appears to be built from the

outside you can change the angles of these up and down actually kind of

changes the the look of the car a little bit more than you would expect for just

a couple small pieces and you can actually bring these all the way down if

you want almost makes it look like they've tucked in to get more speed and

then you bring them up they look like they're more for stability mount that's

just my imagination you do see some off coloured parts through there but for the

most part the color scheme is pretty consistent from the outside a lot of

studs on the side construction of course a lot of nice kind of jigsaw puzzle kind

of insertion of pieces where parts come together and they help to complement

each other in their own natural shapes such as with these flaps up here that

have the angles going in now it doesn't look quite so impressive just from here

actually a little bit kind of going with the lines of these double curved slope

pieces but I feel like from this higher angle you see even better how this nice

not only just kind of triangular shape is created here but you get kind of an X

going out to the canopy and that almost continues out to the edges of the canopy

so some really nice shaping here you know I I kind of like some stuff

they've put together I think they could have done without the lime-green going

down here though I feel like that breaks things up just a little bit more than

necessary just a purely subjective opinion but overall the build is pretty

good the thing is is heavy and sturdy I mean the you know they have real rubber

tires that are barely semi pneumatic you know you can't really squeeze these very

much but it just feels like it's grabbing the ground just lots of great

great traction this thing gets so it feels like it would it would work well

if it was a real vehicle and so as for these these shooters and how that works

you push here so this is this is a printed piece they're 2 by 2 round tile

on top and you pushed down on that and look what happens these come up it

brings the blades with it all that goes together that's pretty cool takes you

straight into an attack mode like that they come up pretty far it's not just a

small amount of movement and they come way up it changes the shape of the thing

I could definitely do without those moving pieces there that was completely

unnecessary but from this angle it doesn't look so bad but yeah you just

see how they've got a flap here I've got part of the gearing mechanism which

actually goes farther down in there that's interesting because it's

ultimately connected to the axles this starts to turn the little actuators

inside of there the little triggers and just as you drive this along it will

fire off all these studs and those studs are going all over my entire room right

now out of all the ones that I just fired off it looks like 1 2 3 4 are

still within reach I tried to put my hand just off camera in front of this

but yeah those go absolutely everywhere fortunately they give you a full

recharge of those plus a little bit so an extra dozen plus some extra spares

but yeah you know you're just driving along and push this down

just it just shoots off and they go absolutely everywhere it's it's quite

quite a thing that that happens it's kind of shocking just how much firepower

you feel coming out of this but then like saying once when once you once

you've experienced that you then have the poor experience of trying to chase

these things down all over your room but for what it is it's implemented well I

just don't know how many people will really want to use that that much of

course you can just put it down just for a brief moment you know as as you're

driving you see that gear there spinning just touch it and just a couple of those

will fire off at a time so you can regulate it just a little bit such a

large cockpit for this thing look at that just to hold one single figure I

appreciate the the tan color that they put in there the tan and the dark tan

both just helps to make it look a little bit more luxurious like you could

imagine that being padded with you know either real leather or you know fake

leather vinyl or something it just seems like the interior of a car including the

tan pieces used here which are matched well that's good you know rather than

doing unnecessary changes of color and these two clips can be used to hold on

to Lloyd's swords on either side that's good this

just has a couple of gaps underneath but they're really not that visible and

those leave enough space for the swords to fit in and there is that one

speedometer piece that's used there that's printed so I think overall this

this works pretty well it's dirty it's a good build to put together it's not

difficult to put together a lot of the color-coded stuff is very helpful and

very quickly finding pieces oh I only just saw this I'm sure they're going to

be hundreds of comments about the fact that I put that back on backwards

but hopefully folks will see part of the rest of the video as well let me go

ahead and show you the figures so we get here the new hybrid versions going to

movie slash TV hybrid versions of Lloyd and Nia Nia gets the very

large spear with a bunch of pieces put together I do want to focus a little bit

more on the figures themselves it's interesting to me that here Lloyd gets

two of the Chinese Dao style swords which is I believe a new concept you

know twin katanas was a traditional staple of of Ninjago and then for the

movie they introduced a single Dao has the kind of signature weapon for Lloyd

now here they've gone with two but without the the tassels that that add on

to the the ends of them so that's that's just something different see if they

continue on with that trend and kind of make that his new think I'm switching

between single and and double Dowell like that the NIA figure looks great to

me lots of nice printing and have to take some stuff off so you can actually

appreciate more of that printing but of course we need to see the faces as well

the base color for all of the body parts except for the head and hands for Nia is

that gunmetal gray or dark pearl gray color good print on the back there Nia's

faces are very similar though I mean one's a little bit more serious but from

a distance they don't look as as different as you would expect but I

needed to take that that cloth piece off so you could also see the print that's

just there barely visible on the hip piece there really only from an angle

like this where the the light strikes it just right you might not even notice it

half the time in reality but there's good print on the lakes there and that

goes for both characters I think there's just less detail for for Lloyd basically

on the the lower half Lloyd gets more detail on his upper half representing

the sons of Garmadon here is ultraviolet with the Oni mask of hatred on because

it matches her color scheme gotta match those colors I'm actually glad they did

that I think it works together very well it's seasoned very gray skintone showing

through there good it's for the for the body and the hips

and the the legs there need to take some stuff off again to about you see more of

the detail I also like that that shoulder armor piece with the pauldrons

and a couple of studs on the back but you can also lift this up hey she

doesn't look so evil looks uh almost kind of happy or at least satisfied with

her her status in life I don't know what she thinks about the the gray color for

her skin but seems to be okay overall no alternate face but there's a lot of

print to be seen on the back of that torso and some of it most of the time is

just hidden away by the armor piece her weapon is basically a flail there and

has a bunch of crystal style elements on it ultra violet also gets this motocross

style bike with the purple colored fairing and on the box they sure are

holding on to her signature weapon here while on the bike but reality kind of to

just be off to the side I'm glad that they have those extensions because it

does allow you to get this there's more dynamic pose then you can usually get

with lego bikes so I think that's actually cool and you can change the

angles of these they kind of look like exhausts you know suggestions of

exhausts that are just just pointed up but you could also just use them as

regular holders for the for the katana or the red katana can also use that to

hold the bike up more vertically like this but I think they're supposed to be

like this most the time if she's not holding on to the flail then the bike is

able to balance a little bit better does take careful balance but it is it is

possible I think the bike looks pretty cool just a couple little pieces added

to either side and she can use those weapons if she wants and it's nice to

get the purple color for the fairing piece and that's the ninja Nightcrawler

set much much larger car than I expected it to be thankfully makes the the price

a little bit more palatable the price part ratio is good most of the the size

I think came from needing to fit in the new shooting

function the automatic shooting while driving function which i think was a

really good idea for an action feature or kind of an augment to an action

feature at least in theory I think in practice it's a really bad idea because

those studs do just go absolutely everywhere and they are not fun to chase

down they're really really not fun to chase down but as as I mentioned you can

just kind of push down a little bit shoot a little bit let it go find the

studs you know kind of kind of moderate the the firing rate a little bit but or

all I think that each thing looks good here I'm more impressed with the the

bike as simple as it is but the bike with ultraviolet with her weapon and

everything that that just kind of looks nicer than I expected even though it's a

small kind of side thing in this set I think it really adds a lot of value here

for foreplay I can see these really fighting against

each other even though there's such a huge discrepancy in size and the middle

figure Nia I think is the best figure out of the three I think a lot of kids

will really really enjoy having this set although I think a lot of parents will

have trouble rationalizing spending that kind of money on just a car and a bike

in a set that has just three figures in it I think the set would have been just

as successful if not more successful if they had made the whole thing a bit

smaller and left out the shooting function or possibly just had a single

shooter mounted from the back in the center that you could fire off

completely manually you know shortened down the whole bike person the whole car

still would have looked very similar but I think could have been priced a bit

lower those are just my thoughts though hope that you've enjoyed this look at

the set regardless thank you for watching and I'll talk to you soon

Quartermaster Strickland Knife Review. And How to Turn it almost into a fixed blade. - Duration: 8:20.

Alright.  We're looking for tactical here.  Mmm… I dunno the handle looks like a Crayola color

and it's too damn light.  Nope.  Ok… this is heavier it has a bigger blade.  But

it only has a single grind on the blade.  Nope.  How about this… it has some black stuff on the

blade up top that looks tactical I guess.  Doesn't look like something off the Bud K instagram

though, and it takes about 5 minutes to open. Nope.

Oh wait… what's this… oh yeah…. Right there. While tactical doesn't really have

a cohesive look, its one of those things we all know when we see it. And Quartermaster

knew it when they saw it… when designing the Strickland, you know as soon as they came

across a picture of the blade of the GTC Airborne. So they made the knife, asked for permission,

and here we are some time later. Fellow Youtube knife and gear channel knives save lives,

unless of course they end lives, traded me some junk for some junk. Check out his channel

via a link at the end- but before that let's go over the dimensions of this knife as we

ponder if this is the right thing to do. On an unrelated note if you saw $100 on the ground

is it ok to take it? Blade length and cutting edge. What if it's next to a body- let's

say its been dead a while. Handle size and grip area, it's not like you killed the

guy right. Spine thickness and handle thickness, and if you get a few minutes check out Blade

Forums for some more reviews of Quartermaster knives. and tallness closed. That's ok you

can pause the video.

The Quartermaster Strickland is a big ass tactical as shit folding knife, named after

a character from Back to the Future and manufactured right here in the People's Republic of Texas.

Swear to god, they've got pictures. The blade you might recognize is similar to the

Zero Tolerance 0055, which is a knife designed by the same dude who created the GTC Airborne…

And as far as I know Zero Tolerance asked him to ask himself if it was ok he used it.

The blade and knife are finished in a stonewashed finish known as Tactical Texas Tea. The blade

has a couple edge grinds per side, instead of one, for double the cutting power. Viewers

with eyes may also notice they went with a thick spine basically to fit serial numbers

on there. So although this is one of 300 made in 2015, don't despair- GPknives, Blade

HQ, and Knife Center are all currently well stocked.

The handle also like the blade has a prominent curve, and believe it or not isn't that

uncomfortable. No sharp edges exist on my model, I mean except for the blade. There's

some THICC… jimping up top… of course spelled like this… and some on the back

underside of the handle. It's good for big hands and my hand fits it well- if I were

to ever carry this knife and use it. The handle is made from two pieces of titanium and is

an open backed design. Great. The deployment is handled by a thumb stud, disc, trapezoid,

I dunno maybe a praying mantis head. That doesn't stick out much when closed. You

have to practice a few times to get it down, and it opens fairly easily. Even with gloves,

well sorta. The lockup is handled by the frame lock which when I got it was pretty easy to

disengage, but maybe not by the end of this video. The clip is reversible to the right

or left size in a tip up configuration only… the clip is nice and springy without being

too tight, but it isn't a deep carry… but why should it be- people need to know

to back the hell off. Detent is ok, but you can flip it hard downward whilst closed and

it can open. Shouldn't open in your black cargo pants.

Let's do some comparisons. You have this… knife. Which is tactical because it's stonewashed

and has a bunch of angles. Then there's my Spyderco. It also has a nice long handle,

is relatively light, and much cheaper. And no I haven't batoned with it. This is a

great every day carry option with a long blade. Now we have the Benchmade Bugout. Very very

lightweight of a knife that I have beaten the crap out of… easy to sharpen thick as

it needs to be blade stock, easy to sharpen. Great Every day carry knife. We're done

here, now let's do some whacking. You're like that was inappropriate. No not true.

I never said that. So there's this theory that knife makers push, and people accept,

that bigger folding knives with thick blade stock, are somehow more able to withstand

abuse than a tiny little lightweight fancy boy puny knife like the Bugout. And I'm

not saying that's not true at least 45% of the time occasionally. But sometimes a

beefier knife just means it's heavier… not talking about my baby girl Cold Steel-

you know I love you.

Also knife makers and most serious knife guys arguing with you about intellectual properties

on something with a blade and handle on blade forums will swear up and down that folding

knives aren't meant for batoning. And I absolutely agree with them. Knives are just

straight up cutting tools. You need a blade a handle and maybe a lock if you do some heavy

rope cutting for your steel retention test on Youtube- and if you have to baton buy a

fixed blade.

Ok with that out of the way… I was really trying hard to just pummel this. But I don't

have to tell you some light chopping generally leads to some heavy batoning. Sorry it's

nature. So I did this off an on for I dunno 5 minutes. It was cold outside, and I'm

tender… but the pivot started to loosen up at some point, but luckily I had an allen

key handy in my basement. No big deal just tighten it back up… but the real problem

was then was the blade was then hard to unlock. The frame lock was too hard to disengage without

jamming the allen key up in there and use it as a lever to open it. Then I looked to

the steel insert for the frame lock… and thought that may have loosened. That wasn't

it either… I tried tightening an loosening the pivot trying to find the sweet spot, and

couldn't. But that's fine I have a ton of knives. If you like this sort of review.

Comment, give the video a thumbs up, subscribe, click that bell so you can be alerted every

time I upload some dumb shit. And sometimes that bell doesn't work because Youtube has

some serious problems… So check back once a week on my channel because I usually upload

a 2 videos a week on Monday and Tuesday and film them while my kid takes a nap. Thanks

for watching.

Mega Construx Halo ONI Strike Team review - Duration: 6:14.

Halos a look at the mega constructs halo Oni strike team figure pack they have

changed up the packaging for the figure packs this year I'll give you a look at

the packaging a little bit later on but inside you get the now standard four

figures plus a small build or in this case kind of a couple small builds kinda

looking at the figures first on the left here is an Oni officer and on the right

is an Oni technician obviously there are some very familiar looking pieces here

so if you want to see these as UNSC just part of a gray colored unit obviously

you can or you could see them as MPs or you know something related to civilian

police especially with the guy on the left you want however you want to look

at them you can but here they're presenting them as as Oni members which

is an interesting thing that they haven't really delved into in toy lines

thus far very much we didn't get the two members from from Oni

in the nightfall the single nightfall set that mega produced quite some time

ago but yes it's nice to get something a little bit different and with the

weapons they went with a light gray color and it's just a very very very

neutral gray just almost looks like they are prototype parts or something it's

just again just different and I don't mind different I think it's good to to

try out different things and this is such a neutral color scheme that feeling

it's gonna be you know pretty useful for folks who want to repurpose them for

their own stories their own setups their own displays and then here are two more

identical figures just with different weapons with the newer style of rocket

launcher on the left and a DMR on the right I do see and I'm sure you do see

as well some foreign material in the plastic there so they didn't go for the

the cleanest pellet mix there I guess which I don't mind I think it's fine for

military stuff to look a little bit dirtier to have a little bit of camel in

it but I don't think that was actually their real

intent so you can look at that as being a quality miss for sure but you know

these two characters are just intended to be generic and to be massive and

again I think that it's it's it's a good idea a lot of the time in multiple

figure packs especially when you're gone for just regular troops folks want to be

able to mass the base units you know because you want to have a lot

of them in a given scene or something so this makes that a little bit easier by

putting a pair of the same together it's not something that they do all that

frequently especially with all the Spartans out there they're always you

know trying to give you different combinations or at least changing out

the helmets from one to the next this main build here is a pretty good-looking

turret in placement and it actually fires it has the built in actual firing

mechanism that's just embedded down in the center of this new outer mold the

trigger is right here and those things work pretty well plus they give you the

ability to angle this up and down and rotate it around 360 degrees so though

it's kind of simple as a build at least you can pose it all kinds of different

ways and if you want to use it for play then you can actually fire the thing off

these do work quite well or you can leave that out if you don't like the

look of it only thing that I don't like the look of here is the inclusion of the

stamp on the side of the terrain piece which I unfortunately faces towards the

front so I probably recommend mirroring this build is just doing something to

turn it around and you'll move all this back this is nice around the base too

you know they could have just stuck that directly onto the terrain piece but they

gave you that little bit of coverage there which i think is actually pretty

cool to see different color for the slight bit of shield here and then this

a does that really count as a build I don't think so but this box is the

square 3x3 box in black I don't think I have any in black in my own collection I

don't know if they've released them in that color before but it's just on a

small small terrain piece and inside it just

give you one extra bolt to fire from from your turret no other extra

accessories this time around would have been nice to get some some grenades of

some sort or some other small accessory I feel like they went a little bit a

little bit stingy this time around in terms of the included extra small items

because there aren't any except for that one projectile so here's a quick look at

the new packaging which makes way more sense just in terms of shelf space used

up you know it uses more of the vertical space that is always available on

shelves and less of the horizontal space that is often at a premium so yeah just

a good idea just know that if you're looking for figure packs you're gonna

need to look for one of these taller boxes now instead of the old ones that

we've had for some years nothing fantastic here nothing

particularly stands out or is particularly new except for the turret

which I think is fine but you know it's not that big of a bill to include in one

of these sets you know the colors being as neutral as they are I think is is the

best thing about this it really makes this a an easy pack to get multiple of

if you want to create you know a larger force of folks who are not Spartans but

now you've seen it and now I'm gonna move on to the next video so thank you

for watching I hope you enjoyed the quick video and I hope to have a chance

to talk to again soon in the next one bye for now

you

Top 10 Food Reviews of 2017! Year End Special! 🎊 🍾 - Duration: 9:23.

peep this out guys it's Ian K back again with another one for you swinging

on through to Popeye's today guys to take a look at the latest promo they've got

going this month's the smokehouse boneless wings $5.00 promo here at

Popeye's Louisiana kitchen let's peep out this flavor now I'm not smelling

anything different other than the amazing Popeyes aroma that fried

goodness that we all know and love guys so let's see exactly how this one fares

in the taste department whoo that's got a little bit of heat and I was not

expecting that at all I thought I was gonna get a little bit more of the

hickory and pecan flavor that this is infused with but what it's leading with

is some heat up front and then you get some of the crunchy goodness that we

already know from Popeyes I'm not really getting any of the Hickory in the pecan

yet here's another cross-section shot of one of these boneless wings guys as you

can see the red in the middle is gonna be the thing you're gonna be looking

forward to with this if you like a little bit of heat and your chicken

definitely diggin the overall flavor of what these boneless wings have to offer

they're just very meaty and definitely flavorful especially with that ragin

Cajun barbecue ranch sauce the success isn't earned its eaten nothing says

success like gold KFC goes for finger-licking gold and

inside this container is their contender the Georgia Gold honey mustard barbecue

chicken and I got to tell you guys right off the bat the presentation and this

one looks absolutely fantastic it's finger lickin gold

Oh a very rich and strong mustard flavor with a little bit of heat in the

background nice juicy white meat chicken guys it's all about the coating on this

one very flavorful and I gotta say the crispness and everything together makes

this a very very nice treat alright I've got about five pickles here let me

grab one of these saturated ones and put this on here just as the pickles really

lit up in Nashville hot chicken I have high hopes for this one let's give it a go mmmmmm oh man

peep this out lemme go for one of those new firecracker burritos the spicy version

please that's it beautiful thank you so it looks like it's a buck twenty-nine

just for the burrito by itself and for an extra 20 cents you get a little

packet of those poppin spices all right and as expected outside of the red

tortilla we've got the usual Taco Bell goodies here guys the seasoned ground

beef the rice the nacho cheese sauce the red tortilla chips the sour cream and

the main difference between this one and the regular nacho cheese version is

gonna be the inclusion of chipotle sauce but main thing is gonna be this added to it

and as you guys can see these are not chopped bacon bits guys these are those

cayenne popping candies it's the spicy firecracker burrito here

at Taco Bell cool well I gotta say I'm getting a lot of front-loaded heat from

the chipotle sauce on the inside of this firecracker burrito and that's expected

because there's more of it but on the back end is some of that cayenne popping

candy action going off on there let me keep going real quick Wow that's right

it's all about rib eye beef for tonight's review so let's hit that

drive-thru and scoop one out yeah peep this out let me go for one of

those new rib eye burgers the all-american just with no mayo and no

tomato please and the main event right there looks like a quarter-pound patties

very similar to what Jackie uses for their regular burgers but in this case

it's 100% rib eye beef mmm instantly a rich beefy heartier texture compared to

their regular beef patty over here and I really like the beef over here at

jack-in-the-box as soon as I bit into it the softness of that potato bun came

through and then instantly the flavor of the meat over everything else on here it

really is just a very hearty burger with a very different flavor compared to the

regular beef and I'm diggin it I'm really not missing the buttery jack at

all right now try my first ever ribeye burgers Carl's jr. and Hardees is

slapping some pretty tasty looking baby back pork ribs on top of their 100%

Black Angus beef but there's just a little bit more to this than you might

think alright it looks like we've got a

couple of meaty baby back pork ribs on the very top here guys that are actually

sourced from Poland through an Ohio based barbecue restaurant known as

Bubba's q boneless ribs which is owned by former Detroit Lions football star

Al "Bubba" Baker who actually appeared on the shark tank back in 2013 when he was

looking for investors for the brand wow that is some serious barbecue overload

guys just in that first bite I got every ingredient this one has to offer it's a

very thick and moist angus beef patty because it is the third pound version

that i got one more shot on the inside of this one guys as you can see they are

not playing around when it comes to the thickness of the baby back pork ribs on

this new burger it really is a highlight along with that barbecue sauce all right

now when you think of Burger King I know you don't think of tacos and actually

that is the reason to check these out right now

are you doing good he's doing tonight

yeah from the YouTube yeah peep this out so it's most definitely gonna come down

to the flavor overall but I do have to say again the size is fairly decent for

what you get here they are very very crispy as you can see let's give these a

shot here these are the crispy tacos here at BK let's peep out this flavor

mmm well I gotta say right off the bat these BK tacos instantly remind me of

the ones from jack-in-the-box I mean the appearance is very similar guys and you

can kind of still see the transparent filling through the corn tortilla itself

there it's actually very similar to the way the jack-in-the-box does their

version from there it looks like BK kind of separates itself with the type of

sauce they're using it's more of a spicier type of picante sauce it's got a little

bit of heat to it which I really like and the lettuce is a little bit crisper

at the same time as well they obviously add that after the frying

process is done but the flavor seems to pop just a little bit more and I really

like that it's Ian K for peep this out back again with another one for you here in Laguna

Beach California guys we're Taco Bell is unveiling their brand new naked egg taco

what the shell how about no shell guys this one is truly naked on the outside

it's the naked egg taco from Taco Bell gotta love that trademark yolk on the

side they're very very nicely formed to shape like a taco but it is definitely a

lot more softer and it looks pretty tasty just the right amount of saltiness

on the egg guys it's very soft it's all the tasty goodies from Taco Bell on the

inside really really nicely done on the egg itself that light yolk flavor at the

very end is beautiful on this here alright let's try a little bit of the

breakfast salsa that is really good it's like a light but contain as a little bit

of kick to it also that's right guys the Big Mac is about to take its name very

seriously so much so it's a Grand Mac this thing looks pretty monstrous this

is a true Big Mac in grand fashion guys what you're looking at here is 1/3 pound

of 100% all beef spread out between two patties inside all the classic fixings

of the Big Mac but inside an oversized sesame seed bun that barely covers my

palm oh right off the bat the meat patties pop on this one guys and it's

not like a regular Big Mac will you take one bite and you're kind of like halfway

into the burger already I haven't even gotten halfway into it after that first

bite but so far it's a lot of beefy flavor it with plenty of Mac sauce

plenty of lettuce plenty of everything that you already know all in a much

bigger package here and I really say it is worth the price of admission

just to try it at least once yeah Alma peep this out can I go for the farmhouse

king by itself please and that's all you got it great thanks a lot talk about

almost looking like the ad in the window guys this one's looking pretty insane

let's hit it it's the only farmhouse King here at BK man this thing is huge

mm-hmm I'm at a loss for words right now hang on oh my god okay well maybe not

those three words but you get the point right there's a reason why they call

this the king guys 75% of what you're looking at here is meat and cheese and

that is not a bad thing at all on the very top you've got their signature

star for this one here that fried egg along with the creamy signature sauce

we've got the bacon we've got the crispy onions

it really does an amazing job of blending all those flavors together and

it's a lot closer to a regular breakfast burger without having to layer it with a

hash brown this is truly something delicious hear that sauce mixture with

the ketchup is incredibly good and the bacon is nice and crispy

mmm really good looks like McDonald's is giving chicken tenders another go-around

this time with no artificial preservatives colors and flavors guys

feast your eyes upon the buttermilk crispy tenders that look very similar to

2015's chicken select tenders it's the same let me crack this open just so you

can kind of see on the inside as you can see it is all 100% white meat guys it's

got a very hearty bite to it there and naturally when you have all of this

white meat to go with it that's actually a pretty nice situation alright now

let's check out the signature sauce and see what this brings to the party well

it's got the color and the creaminess of mac sauce for sure guys and being that

this is the signature pairing for these buttermilk crispy tenders let's see how

it delivers hmm kind of tastes like mac sauce I mean a little bit more of the

Thousand Island tip with this one here and it's not a bad pairing overall I

just think that what they've got together with this is essentially the

ingredients they already use for the mac sauce but maybe a little bit more of a

muted flavor it's tasty though but it doesn't quite have the tang of mac but

it has a very similar Thousand Island type of consistency as well as flavor

overall it's not bad and those are my thoughts on this one as we close out

another episode of peep this out guys and like I always say I've got brand new

content every the week here on my channel so while you

stay tuned for that next review coming real soon in the meantime stay frosty

2018 Ford F-150 – Review and Road Test - Duration: 8:05.

If you think modern full-size pickup trucks are big and dumb

you're only partly right. Case in point, this F-150. It might be big but it

is not dumb. Quite the contrary Ford has approached this generation

F-150 as a literal test bed, switching its bed and cabs construction from steel to

lightweight aluminum helping improve fuel economy and performance. Inside the

aluminum body is a seriously functional cabin. The seats are comfortable and

supportive, the armrests are well positioned, even though that one is way

over there, there's lots of door storage space, and a really huge bit of storage

here in the center console. Look there goes the medical tape. Up front you've

got a couple of itemized spots where I guess I can put my wallet with more

space than I really need. Up top yet another - storage bin. The F-150 is a

little like an industrial loft. It is a great place to live and work.

Buyers can spec their F-150 in regular, super cab, and super crew layouts but for

carrying people the super crew is definitely the play. Legroom is

outstanding, unlike the cozier super cab. A flat floor means sitting in the middle

position is not some sort of punishment and easy flip up seats mean you can

store your gear safely inside away from the elements and thieves, Tim. And these

channels look like they're expertly crafted to carry, I don't know, large

shipments of wine. Maybe my mom needs an f-150. Sorry, mom.

Of course cabin plushness varies by trim. The basic XL trim comes drenched in easy

to clean plastic but higher trims offer increasingly luxurious appointments.

Nothing caps a hard day on the job like cooled and massaging seats...I'm assuming.

Reviewing cars isn't a real job

Speaking of real jobs if you plan to haul more than just air you've got three

choices. A six and a half foot bed or optional 8 foot cargo box

come on the regular and super cab models while the super crew offers bed lengths

of five and a half and six and a half feet.

The F-150's bed is a perfectly functional space to haul stuff but it should be

noted that a damp tailgate does not come standard. F-150, dropping at old school.

Also, the optional tailgate step does make it easier to get in and out of the

bed but this one doesn't have it so roll the b-roll while I parkour my way into

the bed.

For easier bed loading check the option sheet where you'll find pop-out side

steps, integrated loading ramps, a bed extender / divider, and a damped remote

release tailgate or an assistant closing tailgate with an integrated step.

As a big capable truck you might expect the F-150's road manners to be unrefined

but that's not really the case. Okay there are the normal live rear axle

jitters over bumps but otherwise ride quality is good. The brakes feel

confident, interior noise is suppressed unless I'm making my bag bounce around

in back, and outward visibility is surprisingly good in all directions. A PT

Cruiser! I'm so sorry. A slow steering ratio and comparatively

wide turning circle make confined maneuvering a challenge but if you've got

the dough the option list makes nearly every aspect of driving much much easier. Ok, not this one.

All the others. And, I'm up over the curb. There's a 360-degree camera system for confident

parking, automatic Park Assist for effortless parking, and Pro trailer

backup assist that makes backing up a trailer as simple as turning a knob. On

top of that there's full range adaptive cruise control, pre collision assist with

pedestrian detection, Lane Keeping Assist, and blind spot monitoring that even

accounts for a trailer. Clever. Where engine choices are concerned there are

plenty including an eager and reasonably efficient 3.3 liter V6, a 2.7 liter

EcoBoost v6, a 3.5 liter EcoBoost v6, and for those who hate forced induction a

naturally aspirated 5 liter V8. The base V6 features a 6-speed automatic but the

rest of the lineup uses a 10 speed unit that knocks out nearly undetectable

shifts. Standard on all engines is a fuel saving automatic engine start/stop

system though you'll need to deactivate it on hot days to keep the

air-conditioning working at stoplights. To exploit the F-150's 13,200 pound

maximum tow capacity choose the 3.5 liter but for less extreme towing we

highly recommend the 2.7 liter EcoBoost. The two-seven will tow 8,500 pounds, it

costs a modest 995 dollars versus the base engine, and it returns the best fuel

economy in the f-150 lineup...at least until the 3 liter turbo diesel finally

shows up.

Before moving on we should mention the $51,000 f-150 Raptor whose wide track,

high output 3.5 liter EcoBoost v6, and Baja-worthy suspension enable

unsurpassed off-road thrills. Seriously don't you wish this was you?

For more-grounded off-road adventures non-Raptor f-150s can be equipped with

four-wheel drive and an FX for off-road package. MSRP for a regular cab XL trim

with six airbags, trailer sway control, manual AC, an am/fm radio, and a backup

camera with dynamic hitch assist begins below 29,000 dollars including $1,300

worth of destination chargers. However we think the volume leading XLT is a

worthwhile upgrade. It starts around $34,000 for a regular cab with power

windows and mirrors, a power tailgate lock, and a six-speaker audio system

featuring bluetooth and USB ports. Budget an extra $2,900 for

the Super Cab and $5,200 for the super crew. With even

more budget you can nab an intuitive eight-inch Sync infotainment system,

navigation, heated rear seats, inflatable rear seatbelts, LED headlights, LED box

lighting, a factory spray in bedliner, and passive entry with push-button start, a

feature inexplicably not offered by GM and Toyota. Spend lavishly and you can spec

an F-150 limited trim to the tune of $67,000 though

prices for pickup trucks are frequently incentivized so shop around. Given the

loyalties of truck buyers you probably already have a brand allegiance but if

you're curious the full-size pickup truck field includes the GMC Sierra and

Chevy Silverado twins, the RAM 1500 with its smooth riding coil spring rear

suspension, the Nissan Titan with its standard 390 horsepower v8, and for

resale value enthusiasts and Toyota devotees the Toyota Tundra. Each entrant

has its strengths but the Ford stands out as exceptionally well suited to the

needs of truck buyers.

The Ford F-150 is smart, capable, and ruggedly-styled. In essence it does all

the things a pickup truck should do and it does them really well. It's also a

handy reminder that innovation comes in all sizes.
