News on Youtube Jan 25 2018

Hi. My name is Leiv and my name is Sigrid from Team Latitude 64

Ok... *Laughing*

Hi. My name is Leiv and my name is Sigrid from Team Latitude 64

And we're both representing Trondheim Frisbee Club

We have managed to get a hold of the Ballista Pro, this disc will be available in February

I bought this disc from the L64 Custom store.

Its actually a limited run of only 100 discs

And we've had lotsa fun with this disc today!

We have compared it with the old Ballista

We have also compared it with a World, which is also speedclass 14

Quite similar in flight numbers actually..

and a Snow Line Ballista

and a Lucid Sheriff

We have to thank our buddies from the club Jan Sindre and Ingar

for lending us some discs to compare with

Let me start with the old Ballista first

The old Ballista was a big seller, very popular disc

Especially the first run Snow Line Ballista

wich was more stable than the ordinary stock Ballista

And its became a legendary disc

and after a huge demand

Latitude 64 finally caved in and pimped up the old Ballista with a new much more stable version

called the Ballista Pro

There is several other molds also that have a pro version

Yeah River Pro

And they will keep on coming

As we know the flight numbers for the trilogy discs is not always on point

But according to the numbers these are quite similar actually

14 | 4 | 0,5 | 4

14 | 4 | 0 | 3

We have both tried em out today

For me the old Ballista is quite beefy, well not that beefy, but it have a healthy fade at the end, which can be useful on the course

and surprise surprise, the Ballista Pro is even beefier, actually too much a meathook for my armspeed

What do you think?

Well actually I have not thrown the ballista that much

I have taken a liking to the Sheriff, wich is

somewhat a similar type of disc

i have thrown the World, and also Defender

and I have thrown the Gladiator quite alot

So I was excited to see how the Ballista Pro would turn out

The write up and marketing surrounding this realease got me curious

and quite excited

and I have to say I was not disappointed by this disc

I am really pleastantly surprised

I am usually not that found of disks with this kind of wingshape

not sure how to explain it, but this wingshape is not for me personally

I have to point out that they look almost identical

yea, it feels identical in the hand as well

So If you're already familiar with the old Ballista, this will feel excatly the same

Even though this is a wide rimmed driver

with this kinda downwardfacing wingprofile

I'm usually not that into, i have to say

I'm a huge fan of the Ballista Pro

Its really cold outside today

and there is a medium left to right tailwind

so not the best conditions for getting the true flight

seeing how the disc honestly flies, the line it takes

and of course as we are located in Trondheim

So the weather is never stable here

or overstable weather

Ehm...

well...

for me....

ehm..

I throw both at approximately the same distance

But I can really trust the Ballista Pro

specially in windy conditions

Yea i can relate to that

I had a few really good releases today

and when the old Ballista flips over

you know its gone... never coming back

But for my armspeed the Ballista Pro hooks up immediately... a meathook

Well I got it to ride a turn nicely before hooking up

and I can really lay into it.

This is not the biggest field either

Didn't get a full maximal flight

But we definitely got a

impression of what this disc has to offer

It really feels like the Old Ballista's big brother

So do you think they managed to capture the flight of the SNow Line Ballista with this release

Well I have only thrown that one a few times

and that is not the legenadary first run Snow Line Ballista

no, this is the Scandinavian Open realese

I really like throwing it tho

plastic feels excellent

thanks again Ingar

We also compared the Ballista Pro against the Lucid Sheriff

You throw that quite alot don't you?

yea well, you know the sheriff

it cant handle any wind,

and its sensitive to which angle you release it on

and a notch more understable than the Ballista Pro

So its kind a of disc with a straight true line?

bah flipmonster. jk...

Nah but seriously

I really liked this disk tho, and havent really thrown it much before today

yea its become really popular

I get why, really easy distance for the slower arms

Its a step down in stability compared to Ballista Pro

For me

And this is the prototype version

the releasedate is coming up very soon

since you're a apart of team64

So when is it coming out?

in february

what date then?

No date yet but late february

Yea more stuff coming up

exciting things happening at the factory in Sweden

Good stuff going on here in Norway as well

yep and the 2k overmold fairway is coming out soon

and a putter release? or midrange?

Well atleast there is more exciting molds coming and

we can test and review them as well

It all depends how many likes we get

click the like button and please comment what other discs you would like to see reviewed

So you're coming back to review more with me? Excellent

Of course. This so much fun! Even considering the wind and cold

And as we say here in Trøndelag

The grass is always greener on the..

underside of the snow....

where the heating cables are installed...

PEACE OUT

Bunny Asks Out Alistair Wonderland | Madeline Hatter Bunny Blanc CA Cupid Review Ever After High - Duration: 29:20.

Disney Doll Story

Today, we are going to add three more dolls to our channel.

Madeline Hatter, Bunny Blanc and CA Cupid from Ever After High.

They will be joining Cerise, Dexter, Ginger and Lizzy who already appeared in many of

the episodes.

We visited Wonderland so many times and it seems like Madeline Hatter is a great addition

to the show.

She is after all, the daughter of Mad Hatter.

Ever After High characters are used in my shows to complement other Disney dolls.

As long as they don't overlap with disney dolls.

With Ally, the daughter of Alice, as the core members of the Descendants characters, I saw

the need to expand the dolls for Wonderland.

So anyway, let's see what kind of a person Madeline Hatter is.

Madeline Hatter.

Straight from the famously mad world of Wonderland,

the always-happy Madeline Hatter or Maddie as her friends call her,

puzzles out puzzles, talks in riddles, and is the best friend a fairytale could wish

for.

This merry trickster always stays crazy true to herself.

Maddie loves her destiny as the mad host of tea parties,

but she is also excited about a future full of endless possibilities.

Madeline comes with a teacup hat and a kettle and look,

two spoons for earrings.

I guess she is always ready to have a tea party anytime.

Her dress has a beautiful golden embossing.

She has polkadot leggings and a beautiful pair of white and gold shoes.

She also comes with a little story.

I'll read it for you at the end after I finished opening up all of the dolls.

Hmmm...the packaging says there is a stand inside.

Looks like it's hidden inside.

What is your secret Heart's desire?

To explore this mad world, and also own the most famous Hat & Tea Shoppe in the land!

What magic touch makes you special?

I can pull anything out of my Hat of Many Things.

School books, tea sets, white rabbits.

They're all in there somewhere.

Does anything make you shout oh curses?

Well, everyone thinks I'm mad.

So nobody believes me when I tell them that I can see into the future.

What's your storybook romance status?

I'm waiting to have tea with a boy who loves madness as much as me!

What's your favorite subject at school?

Che-myth-stry.

I love making potions that make you grow and shrink!

What about your least favorite subject?

Debate.

If more people spoke in riddles, maybe I'd do better.

Who are your best friends til the end?

Raven Queen and Cedar Wood.

Though in truth I like everybody!

We opened up the rabbit hole a few times,

but the white rabbit didn't always appear in the show.

And then when I found this doll,

I thought wouldn't it be nice if there is a face to this gate keeper of Wonderland.

White Rabbit is an interesting story facilitator,

because she is friends with almost everyone in Wonderland and she seems running late all

the time.

One might wonder what is she up to?

What's happening with her clock and what does she know that she isn't telling everybody

else?

Bunny Blanc

She's late!

She's late!

She's not in a rush at all.

Chilled out, laid back and never stressed, Bunny is the future royal herald of Wonderland.

But she knows that it's best to take your time and look before you leap.

Maybe that's because even when the clock is ticking,

she always winds up where she needs to be, and always on time.

Bunnys just lucky like that.

Must be her two rabbit's feet.

Bunny comes with two bunny ears and a hat.

A pocket watch.

A fur outlined dress and a black and white knee-length boots.

And if you look closely, there is an hour glass in her shoes.

What is your secret heart's desire?

No matter what rabbit holes life takes me down, I always make time for the people I

care about.

What magical touch makes you special?

I can change from a human to a rabbit and back again whenever I want!

Does anything make you shout oh curses?

Actually, I have no sense of direction.

But I always arrive at my destination on time, so it's all good!

What's your storybook romance status?

I only have eyes for Alistair Wonderland.

It's heartbreaking that he sees me as just a friend.

What's your favorite subject at school?

Muse-ic.

As royal herald, I love playing jazzy melodies on my horn.

What about your least favorite subject?

Geografairy.

Who needs maps?

Eventually you'll wind up exactly where you're supposed to be.

Who are your best friends til the end?

All us Wonderlandians stick together but I'm closest to Alistair Wonderland and Lizzie

Hearts.

And next, I got CA Cupid,

because I can foresee a comedy with this character.

With her cupid's arrows, she could potentially make everything worse or everything comical.

So I think I can make another series surrounding CA Cupid and what she does with her arrows.

Anyway, her story is planned somewhere far down the road, so watch out for that.

This is a birthday party themed CA Cupid, so she doesn't come with her bow and arrows,

so that's a little disappointment, but no matter.

I can make one for her.

She comes with a pair of wings, a ribbon, a cake boxes and pair of cupcake themed shoes.

She would fit in perfectly in Madline's tea party.

What is your secret heart's desire?

While I do love guiding people to their special someone.

It's about time I include myself among those deserving of love.

What magical touch makes you special?

Everyone knows my Cupid's arrow can make a person fall in love,

but my real magic is helping people listen to their heart.

What is your storybook romance status?

Dexter Charming set my heart aflutter,

but I'm havin such a hard time letting him know my true feelings.

Does anything make you shout oh curses?

I'm such a terrible shot with my bow and arrow.

It's so not me.

What is your favorite subject?

Mythology.

You have to know where you came from before you can know where you're going.

What is your least favorite subject?

Crownculus.

I've said it before, I'll say it again.

Not everything can be solved with an equation

Who are your best friends til the end?

Apple White, Raven Queen and everyone in between with an open heart.

So as promised, let's read that story book for Madeline Hatter and find out a little

bit more her.

A New Orientation

Hey diddle, diddle!

I have a riddle, from Madeline Hatter to you!

Madeline is me, or Maddie for short, but also for tall people too.

Translated from Riddlish.

Hi, my name is Maddie.

Do you want to hear a riddle?

What can you do with your mind, and have of your heart;

What makes music in your purse, and is not the same from the start?

Give up?

The answer is change!

It's a word most fairytales don't like too much.

They usually like to do the same thing over and over again.

Red Riding Hood always wonders why grandma's teeth are so big.

Goldilocks always eats Baby Bear's poridge.

And my dear dad, the Mad Hatter of Wonderland, always has a riddle-filled tea party with

a puzzingly normal girl names Alice.

As the children of these legends, we go to Ever After High.

But we don't just go to scool.

We live, eat and sleep there.

The Headmaster says we need to master reliving our parent's stories, or folowing our destinies.

That's all dandy candy to me.

My destiny is hat-tastic!

But my best friend til the end, Raven Queen wasn't so lucky.

Her mom is the wicked Evil Queen and Raven's just wicked awesome.

It's so sad!

I'd want to hang up my hat too if my legacy was to be the bearer of poison apples.

But there I go, putting the cup before the kettle.

Let me start from the start.

Chapter 1

Every year before the first day of school, Headmaster Grimm requests that all students

attend a week of Orientation.

Of course, it's mandatory, but he likes to be polite.

This year is special.

On Legacy Day, we were to unlock the Storybook of Legends and pledge to follow our parents'

fabled footsteps.

I couldn't wait to throw my first Wonderland tea party!

Of course, there was the small problem that they sealed the portal back home.

Apparently, the Queen of Hearts lost a few cards from her deck

and became the Queen of Crazy.

Wonderland was declared too dangerous.

This made Princess Lizzie Hearts terribly upset, which is a shame.

Lizzie's really a sweetheart, even though she's awlays shouting "off with this" and

"off with that!"

Anyway, we all gathered in the Charmitorium for our Book to School assembly.

I always found the seats in the Charmitorium too uncomfortably rigid.

The royal students have comfy lounge thrones in the top-level balcony, but that's another

story.

I dug through my magic hat for a seat cushion when I saw something strange.

A dark room filled with spider webs.

I knew right away I was having a vision

It happens from time to time.

You see, the world is so crazy that I sometimes see through the madness and into the future.

It's relaly fun and exciting, especially since I never know when it's going to happen!

Unfortunately, nobody ever believes me for some reason.

Oh well.

Inside the dark room was a cracked mirror.

And not just any mirror.

The Magic mirror.

Silky fog started slipped out, when the mirror suddently looked right at me and spoke one

word.

Raven.

The vision suddenly ended and I was back in the Charmitorium.

I tried to tell Raven what I saw, but she just looked sad and confused.

Maybe the Headmaster gave his usual speech about embracing your destiny.

Or maybe I spokein Riddlish again.

You know about riddlish, right?

It's the riddle language of Wonderland.

I sometimes forget that non-Wonderlandians just hear it as mad babbling.

Chatper 2

Madeline Hatter!

Professor Rumpelstiltskin loudly squeaked my name.

I joined the tour gruop with my friends Cedar, Blondie and Kitty Cheshire.

Kitty is from Wonderland too.

She smiles all the time, even when she's annoyed, which seems to be all the time.

Despite what she might tell people, Kitty and I are great friends.

Oh godmother.

It's Maddie.

Tell me, can I ever rid myself of you?

I love her riddles!

Let's see

"rid myself"

Kitty vanishes when she gets bored.

Things that are "boring" are "dull".

And it's "of me".

She knows I love riddles.

That's it!

You rid dull with riddles.

I mean you riddle with riddles.

God one, Kitty.

At first she signed, but then perked up and scribbled on a piece of paper.

One more riddle for Maddie.

She gave me the drawing of monster smashing a town.

What's this worth to you?

Oh Kitty, That's too easy.

A picture is worth a thousand words and where's the best place to find words?

The library!

I dahsed to find the naswer as Kitty roared with laughter.

I'll show her!

She can't out riddle me!

Chapter 3

I love when the unexpected happens!

Like I expected the librarian to help, but all she did was "shush" me.

So I flipped through the Encyclopedia of Monsters, and History of Villages and the Beasts that

Destroyed Them.

But they were more disturbing than helpful.

Right when I was going to give up, I heard a knocking coming from the distance.

There was something familiar about it.

It wasn't a knock that said, "Hello, I'm at the door".

No it was more like "find me, if you can"

I love hide and go seek.

I also love knock knock jokes.

This was two goodies wrapped into one.

Just as I was about to start, the librarian kicked me out.

No problem.

See you tomorrow

I knocked back.

Chapter 4

The sign on my dorm door said Raven was my roommate.

Yay!

She's felt so cursed lately, I couldn't wait to cheer her up with an epic Maddie tea party!

I unpacked my best tea pots, and when Raven opened the door, she gleefully sang my name!

I gave her a big hug and bigger cup of tea, then asked about her day.

She rolled her eyes and puffed her cheeks.

While I was knocing around, she was on a tour with the other fairytale villains.

Apparently they worship that she's the next Evil Queen.

What a fairy fail.

But I know what makes Raven say "Hex yeah!"

She loves this Wonderland game called "If I didn't.

It's a rhyming game where you imagine how to turn something dully ordinary into something

else wonderfully extraordinary!

Raven started our game with, "If I didn't sleep in a bed..."

I imagined someplace soft and cozy to sleep.

I know!

I would nap in warm bread!

It was my turn.

I wanted something to make Raven smile.

Oh duh, of course!

If I didn't have to be the Evil Queen

Raven had trouble with this one.

Almost like she couldn't find the rhyme for Queen.

After a minute of thinking, she whispered, I don't know.

I wish I still lived with Raven.

Too bad Headmaster Grimm let Apple White switch dorms to be her new roommate.

Chapter 5

I awoke to the sound of knocking.

I knocked back "Ready or not, here I come!"

I followed the knocking back to the library.

This must be how Hansel and Gretel felt following the breadcrumbs!

When I went past the back office, I hit a wall.

But it was a secret door wall!

I knocked, "I found you, now let me in"

With a flash, I went from the school library to a maze filled with dusty old books.

The knocking was much louder in here.

Hallway after hallway, I twisted, wound and rounded,

until finally I walked into an office with books scattered all over, and a bearded man

knocking on his desk.

And imagine my surprise when he spoke Riddlish!

"Tapping two-ways trickle down, unto too fickle upside frown!"

Translation.

I'm so happy.

Someone finally heard my knocing call!

I grinned.

"White knight, sunshine; a place, a face, I have mine?"

Translation

Hello, what's your name?

"Atop a crown, a whistle, steam!

A book so sad but does not dream!"

Translation

Ah you must be the daughter of the Mad Hatter.

I'm the Master Library, Giles Grimm.

Librarian Grumm was cursed with a babble spell and locked in the Vault of Lost Tales.

Now he's searching for the spell to break the curse.

Then it dawned on me.

Raven knows about spells!

I told him, but he looked worried.

Most people do.

You'd think the daughter of the Evil Queen would be good at magic, but her spells usually

backfire.

That, and people assume she's mean just because of who her mom is.

"She's really nice"

I assured him.

She doesn't even want to be the Evil Queen.

Suddenly Library Grimm shot out of his chair and said that I must bring Raven to him.

He had something to tell her.

Chapter 6

I searched all over for Raven.

Finally, when there was nowhere else to look, I went back to the library and there she was!

What luck!

I tried to tell her what happened, but she couldn't understand.

Maybe I was speaking Riddlish again.

So I just took her to the Vault of Lost Tales.

When I brough her to Librarian Grimm, he slammed the book he was reading.

"Flipping flapjacks ripping rust!"

"Cutting corners dawn to dust!"

Translation

I'm frustrated

How long until I find the spell I need?

I approached him.

Horseshoes, clover, rabbit feet!

Feathred, friends, we share a seat!

Translation

Lucky for you, Raven and I are here to help you.

The next bit of Riddlish was a jumble.

But when he pointed at Raven, I'm pretty sure he meant,

Listen daughter of the Evil Queen.

Destiny is a myth.

If you pledge on Legacy Day to rewrite your own destiny, everyone will be free to choose

their own Happily Ever After.

Tea-riffic!

It's everything Raven always wanted!

She doesn't have to be the Evil Queen!

Nobody had to follow their parents' stories.

Not even me!

Wait a spell.

Not even me?

I love that I get to be the next Mad Hatter.

The tea parties

The riddle games

The fun with talking bunnies.

Oh well, I'll worry about that later.

Raven finally ha hope.

And right now, she needs a Happily Ever After.

Time is on my side.

There was a time when I wonderd if my destiny was right for me.

Every White Rabbit before me was so anxious about being late, but I never have been.

No matter what time I leave, I always show up on time.

Maybe I'm just lucky.

I never stress about being late.

After thinking about it, being The White Rabbit has nothing to do with the ticks on a pocketwatch.

It's about getting the Wonderland story started.

I used to love my role before the Evil Queen cursed Wonderland threatening all the fairytales

and magically locking every rabbit hole and looking glass gate from Wonderland to the

land of Ever After.

Although some of my friends escaped, I was left behind.

Eventually, a secret way into Ever After appeared.

Like I said, I think I'm just lucky I reunited with my friends,

However, I can't go back to Wonderland.

So I enrolled at Ever After High, where all fairytales learn to follow their destinies.

As for returning to Wonderland.

Well, I know that's only a matter of time.

chapter 1

Even though I was new to the school I was involved in hextracurricular activities.

I ran Track and Shield

played horn in the band and joined the Royal Student Council.

I was put on a committe with Briar Beauty, Justine Dancer and Hopper Croackington II

to plan the next big school party.

We could plan the biggest page ripper in history.

said Justin, daughter of the 12th dancing princess

But could someone wake up Briar?

Briar kept dozing off in her chair.

Hopper poofed into a frog and said,

"Alas, only true love's kiss may awaken Sleeping Beauty."

"Even asking her on a date would make me tongue-tied."

That gave me an idea for the party.

What if we flipped the script and the girls ask the boys to the dance?

I looked around, pleased with my inspired idea.

Then my throat went dry and my heart beat faster than a jackrabbit.

Waving to me through the door's windows was Alistair Wonderland.

Chapter 2

Alistair's destined to be the next hero of Wonderland, though he's always been a hero

in my book.

Maybe it's his sprakling blue eyes or his stunning but approachable smile.

Or it could be how his hair's always stylish but mussed.

Bit I think it's mainly because he's so brave and compassionate.

Okay, so I have a bit of a crush on Alistair.

From the first chapter we met I could feel this intense energy in the air.

The problem is he seems to see me as only a friend.

Like this one time, before the Evil Queen arrived in Wonderland.

Um Bunny

He said tossing his hair.

Are you doing anything this weekend?

My heart started beating faster.

No I'm not.

He's finally going to ask me out!

I thought.

Oh good, me neither!

he wiped his brow in relief.

Was he riddling me?

Why in Wonderland didn't he just ask me out?

I still haven't figured that one out.

Well, now the shoe was on the other rabbit's foot.

I was going to ask Alistair to the dance!

All I needed was the perfect opportunity.

Are you feeling all right, Bunny?

Alistair asked.

Huh?

I looked up into those sparkling eyes.

Just ask him!

I

What if he says no?

wondered

I'd never be able to look at hime again.

"do you"

"Do I...what?"

he leaned in.

"Do you like my shoes?"

Before he answered, I ran into the band room and slammed the door!

Ugh!

My destiny should be the white chiekn instead of the White Rabbit.

Chapter 3

Fortunately, I was first to arrive for practice.

Just enough time to tune up my trumpet and regain my composure.

I closed my eyes and started playing.

That's spellbinding, Bunny!

Melody Piper came in and got behind her DJ turntables and put on her headphones.

You'd think the daughter of the Pied Piper would play a pipe, but Melody was more at

home behind the decks.

Then the rest of the band showed up.

Raven Queen, Jillian Beanstalk, and Sparrow Hood.

Raven sat behind the piano.

She might be the daughter of the Evil Queen, but the only thing wicked about her was her

wicked talent.

I heard The Royal Student Council just announced something hexciting

She said.

Jullian plucked the strings on the golden harm given to her by her dad, Jack.

Something about a dance where girls ask guys to go, right?

All the girls better get in line-o.

sang Sparrow, shredding his guitar.

We all know who Raven's going to ask, said Melody, ignoring the son of Robin Hood.

Dexter Charming.

He's so under your spell.

We're just friends

Raven said.

Blushing.

Even if I did ask him, it'd be wicked nerve-wracking.

Yeah, I nervously chuckled.

Imagine how embarassing it would be if he said no.

You guys, it's not like you're running away from angry giants.

Chimes in Jillian.

Maybe she was right.

It was just a question, right?

That settled it!

I was going to ask Alistair to the dance

right after band practice.

chapter 4

Okay, so I didn't ask Alistair to the dance after practice.

Or after I finished my thronework.

Or any other time I saw him.

By lunchtime Wandsday, everyone was pairing up.

Apple White asked Daring charming.

Raven asked Dexter.

Melody even asked Sparrow, though I'm pretty sure it's because she felt bad that nobody

else asked him.

I'm going to do it!

I heard, as Ginger Breadhouse marched over to Hopper.

Hopper, you want to go to the dance with me?

Hopped changed into a frog.

I'd love to, sweet candy witch.

That might sound like an insult, but ginger just happens to be the next Candy Witch from

Hansel and Gretel.

Briar looked disappointed, I guess she wanted to go with Hopper.

I didn't want to wind up like Briar.

If I didn't ask Alistair out now, someone else would.

Um, Alistair, has anyone asked you to the dance?

He looked up from his Mirrorphone.

Weird, I just got a hex message asking the same thing.

I looked down at my pocketwatch.

Oh look at the time.

I'm going to be late for class.

Alirstair said something as I got up to leave, but I just had to hop out of there.

chapter 5

My feet moved, but I had no idea where I was going and I didn't care.

I just had to get away.

I ducked into a dark room, shut the door and started crying.

All the time we've spent together, and he never asked me out.

Why should I hexpect that he's want to go to the dance with me?

Still, I hoped he's had feelings for me.

Hello?

a girl's voice called.

"Is someone here?"

the lights went on, and CA Cupid stpped into the room.

Bunny, are you okay?

Sorry Cupid

I pulled out my harekerchief and dried my eyes.

Not at all!

Cupid smiled and helped me up.

I was just finishing my Mirrorcast.

I'd say you showed up in the right place at the right time.

She led me into her studio.

How can I help?

There's something so trustworthy about Cupid.

I opened up about how I've liked this boy for a long time now,

but wasn't sure he felt the same about me.

I sighed.

What if I ruin our friendship forever after?

That's a chance you take with love, she advised.

If he's worth it, take that chance.

It's too late, I said.

Someone else already asked him.

Did he say yes?

Cupid asked.

I thought back.

He never actually said he was going with anyone.

I've got to go.

Thanks, Cupid.

Chapter 6

Alistair was worth the chance, and I was going to take it.

I found him outside the Chemythstry lab.

I wanted to run, but instead I said, "Hey Alistairs."

He jumped a bit.

Bunny!

I didn't see you.

My heart started pounding.

Are you going to the dance with anyone?

He shrugged

No I'm not.

Oh good

I blurted.

I mean, I'm not going to the dance either.

I took a breath

Actually, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me?

Time stood still.

Every second passed like an eternity.

I wanted to take the words back.

I'd blown it.

No way he would want to go to a dance as...

Yes

he said.

I wanted to go with you.

I mean

I couldn't imaging going with anyone else.

My heart felt like it was floating.

I was feeling the same way.

Xp-pen DECO 01 - Review - Duration: 6:07.

For the first time I find myself reviewing a product XP-Pen,

a company of tablets that offers very interesting products for professional work or not.

I am proud to try this new tablet, high performance and very useful for its portability, today we will go and see the new Deco 01!

Let's start from the packaging: The design of the box looks really elegant and quickly explains the details of the tablet.

Opening the package the first thing we find is the Deco 01, and a sticker on the opaque protection immediately invites us to download the drivers from the official site.

This is something that I really enjoyed: first, this gives us the ability to immediately install the drive at the last update available,

and as the second point we will have no standing among the unnecessary installation's discs that already since their first implementation are obsolete and still need to be updated!

Immediately below we find an envelope containing everything necessary for the installation of the tablet:

A USB Type-C cable that in addition to a very fast data transmission allows the user to immediately insert the cable into the door,

without having to go to attempts before finding the right direction of insertion.

The manual with technical specifications and a guide to the first installation

Postcard with all useful contacts

A practical drawing glove

A P03 Passive Pen, which we will discuss in detail shortly

and a very original pen stand including replacement nibs

Let's start by analyzing immediately Deco 01: the first thing that amazes is its extreme subtlety,

in fact its thickness is only 8 mm and this makes the tablet is convenient to be transported around, which can be conveniently located above our desk without useless encumbrances.

in fact the Deco 01 is without unnecessary frills: designed for both right-handed and left-handed users,

its resolution is 5080 LPI, with 8192 levels of pressure and an active area of 10x6.25 "

on the left side there are the USB port and the eight customizable hotkeys, they are very soft to the pressure and create a comfortable working area.

There is a particularity of the surface of the Deco 01 that has intrigued and intrigued me:

it is equipped with a protective film that makes the Deco 01 resistant to scratches

and this to say it will allow us to work in peace without being afraid to ruin the our tablet if we remember to replace the tips to the pen.

Speaking about the pen, the new P03 Passive Pen: shows a very realistic design similar to a pencil, with two customizable keys,

which allow to immediately switch from pen mode to that of the rubber, making it the most efficient artistic process and less frustrating.

In addition, a detail that I thoroughly enjoyed the P03 is that there are no batteries or charging,

and that means no cable that is a hindrance to the work and no additional costs for battery replacement.

If I just had to find fault, the non-presence of a silicone surface on the pen makes the slippery grip,

but this can be safely flown by purchasing one of the many ergonomic Stylus present in the Xp-Pen store.

the pen stand has immediately attracted my curiosity: in the lower part there is an innovative system of extraction of the tips very convenient and intuitive,

in fact just insert the tip, turn it clockwise and voila! the tip has been extracted without looking for rings of extraction that would be lost under the table any time!

Speaking instead of software and compatibility, the Deco 01 has absolutely nothing to envy to the most popular brands on the market:

Its installation is so easy and fast, with the support of the driver downloadable from the XP-Pen site,

within a few minutes we would have already connected our tablet ready to work!

I do not find any kind of hindrance or compatibility problems with major graphics programs and digital design,

this is a very important detail as it usually is what is holding the Italians to try these brands in our country are not yet in stores

I worked with the Deco 01 on Sai Paint tool, Clip studio Paint and Open canvas in extreme tranquility on a laptop with Windows 10

and I can confirm without problems that proves a quiet rival of the most popular brands.

If I recommend this tablet?

I have to say yes,

this product of the XP-Pen has really amazed me, especially because it is a high-performance tablet at an affordable price:

its cost is about 80$ and do not be afraid about shipping because I have found the staff really very responsive and helpful!

Hoping that my review was useful I really recommend you visit the XP-Pen store, in description you will find all the contacts.

I hope to be able to collaborate with this company in the future because from what I have tried, the Deco 01 has left me a really fantastic experience!

See you next time!

Hamilton Khaki Automatic - in depth review (HR & EN subtitles) - Duration: 10:07.

Hi and welcome to another Watch Geek video!

Today I will be doing a review of a Hamilton Khaki Automatic that I think, is to field

watches what Seiko SKX007 is to dive watches.

In my opinion every watch collector should own one at least once in their lifetime.

It has a timeless design and will always look good, as is usually the case with designs

that were made to be functional first.

And this one is a perfect example of that, as the design is based on military watches

used in WW2, meaning it was made to be legible and easy to read.

When it comes to the specs, Khaki models wear larger than their size might suggest as they

are usually very long.

This is the 42mm version, meaning, that the diameter is 42mm.

However the lug to lug is almost 53mm which is very long and makes me think a 38mm version

with its lug to lug of 46mm would look better on a smaller wrist like mine.

The reason for this length apparently is to make NATO straps fit easier, since these are

military inspired watches after all.

Whether this is true or not, I don't know, but it does kind of make sense.

The thickness is 10,5mm and is one of my favorite features of the watch as I usually love slim watches.

In fact it makes the watch appear so slim, that after being used to watches that are between

12 to 14mm thick even when they are 37mm like most Seiko 5's, this watch makes you

feel like you are wearing a quartz watch, that's how slim it is

The watch comes on a very soft and supple leather strap with a nicely sized brushed

buckle that has the Hamilton engraving.

Although the strap is very comfortable I am not really sure about its durability as you can see

it got pretty deformed at the hole even though the watch is not worn that much.

If I was getting one, I would go for the bracelet version as the bracelet is really well made

and is a lasting solution, but even if you go for the leather you really can't go wrong, because

let's face it, you will be buying and trying many different straps on this watch, as it

just begs to be worn on as many straps as you can afford.

The case just like everything else about this watch is purely functional and simple adding to

the already mentioned timeless design.

The lugs curve downwards and help in making the watch comfortable on the wrist.

The one thing that works against comfort is the huge crown.

It does make operating the watch easy but to someone used to smaller crowns or ones

placed at 4 o'clock, like me, this will feel uncomfortable.

As you would expect from a field watch it is completely brushed and the brushing is

very fine, making for a lasting finish that will handle scratches well.

The bezel is the only polished part of the watch and to be honest I don't know why

they went with that.

I mean I understand they wanted to add some bling to the watch as to not make it too boring

with all the brushing, but choosing the bezel, which is the part of the watch that will get

most scratches, just seems kind of wrong, and if you look at pictures of used ones, you

will know what I mean.

It does make the watch look prettier while new, but with age it just shows more scratches

than would be visible if the bezel was brushed or bead blasted.

The crystal is sapphire and has no AR coating at all, which can be a bit of a problem because

it is also slightly curved meaning it is very reflective.

It's almost impossible to take a look at the dial without seeing something reflecting

in it, and most of the time it's your own face.

I still like this better than if they went with outer AR, but they could have at least

put it on the inside or went with a flat crystal.

Both of these would have reduced the reflections by a huge amount.

I even know some people who sold their watches because of this, but then again, some people

like that look and find it cool so I guess you lose some and you win some.

The dial is a typical field watch but with some added finesse and dressiness so you have

a sunburst effect on the smaller center part where the 24 hour markers are, then you get

this circular brushing on the hour markers part followed again by a sunburst effect on the

outer chapter ring with seconds and minute markers.

Now, I am really a sucker for legible watches and this one really excels at that.

Another thing you might have noticed me saying often in my videos is the length of hands

relative to the markers and how it annoys me when the hands don't reach their designated

markers.

On this watch it is the complete opposite.

In fact, this watch could be used as an example of how hands and markers should be placed

relative to each other.

The hour hand ends exactly at the inner part of the dial, the minute hand touches its markers

and the seconds hand is even longer, touching the seconds markers.

All this gives the watch a very professional almost an instrument like look.

I especially love the red seconds hand tip as it adds just the right amount of color

to the dial.

The inscriptions are also very minimalistic and work well with the spirit of the watch.

The date is at 3 o'clock and done in white, with a white line running around the window.

To me that is the one thing I would change about this dial as it just kind of stabs you in the

eye and ruins the symmetry.

It also pushes the 15 hour marker to the inside making it look out of place.

I would prefer if they went with a black date and no line around the window, to blend in

as much as possible and I would also leave out the 15 hour marker all together.

That way the date would give the illusion of being the missing hour marker and in my

opinion the dial would look better.

And now the lume.

I will be generous and say the lume is adequate.

What I mean by that is that the hands are perfectly visible throughout the night as

with the fading of lume, your eyes get more sensitive so you can always read them.

The hour markers on the other hand, not so much.

The lume on the markers is visibly weaker and fades away quite quickly once in the dark,

but since this is not a diver's watch I think its ok.

I also noticed the lume application on the hour markers is a bit sloppy but that's

only visible on macro levels and it cannot be noticed with your bare eyes.

An interesting thing is that the blue dialed version that WatchUP69 did a review of, and

I will put a link right here, has no lume on the hour markers, as they are just painted,

which is kind of odd.

So if you decide to get one, and want to have the lumed markers make sure to check before

buying.

The watch features an exhibition caseback and the movement powering the watch is the

H10 caliber, which is Hamiltons version of the Powermatic 80 we first saw introduced

in Tissot watches some 4 years ago I believe.

This movement is a modified ETA 2824, where the beat rate has been lowered from 28.800

bph to 21.600 in orded to increase the power reserve, which has gone up to 80 hours, thus the name

Powermatic 80.

Some people were not so happy with that decision as the smoother seconds hand was the reason

they liked the ETA over equivalent Seiko calibers.

I personally have nothing against it, and from what I read on the forums from owners

of these calibers the accuracy is very good, meaning the lower beat rate hasn't negatively

influenced it, and you do get 2 positives out of it, the already mentioned increased

power reserve, and the service interval for these should be longer then the equivalent

2824, as there is less wear.

Another change is that there are no regulating pins so the watch gets regulated in the factory

apparently by sharks with freakin' laser beams on their heads, or something like that,

which is something we also heard when System 51 was introduced, making this watch supposedly

impossible to regulate at an independent watchmaker.

I personally don't think that's entirely true as you can see little screws on the balance

wheel and they can slide inwards or outwards which effectively means you can regulate the

watch that way.

But this is just my assumption so please take it with a lot of reserve.

To conclude, the Hamilton Khaki has been THE field watch for years and you can see why,

it is a beautifully made modern, dressier version of a timeless style where form follows

function.

I personally love the look of this watch minus the little things I would change, but I find

those on every watch I review, so that's nothing new.

The new version comes with the H10 movement that has yet to prove itself, but I have no

doubts it will be as reliable and rugged as the 2824 it is based on.

If for some reason you cannot live without the higher beat of the 2824 or you want to be

sure an independent watchmaker can service and regulate one, older versions can still

be found online from to time to time, and my guess is their prices are going to go up

from now on.

Although the look of this watch is based on military field watches it is different in

many ways, making it more civilized and dressier as I said earlier.

For those who want the real deal, and by that I mean the closest to the actual military

spec you can get, you should check out the Khaki mechanical, as on that model, the case

finish, the dial layout, and even the hands are the exact replica of the Milspec

Hamilton watches of the past, plus it's even cheaper than this, and is a handwinding

watch, which is an instant cool factor!

Well this pretty much completes this week's review, so thank you for watching.

I hope you enjoyed, if you did, please like and subscribe by pressing this button right

New studded kiss lipstick review influenster | AMBER MANCHA - Duration: 4:23.

What's up

Guys and welcome back to my channel or welcome to my channel if you are new here make sure that you hit that subscribe button

And that notification bell, so you don't miss anything when doing all things Beauty, baby and world domination because we're taking over the world

That's what I'm doing today

Is it influence your unboxing if you don't know what influencer is it is a program that you go?

And you take surveys and they send you food stuff and based on your really cool stuff

I've gotten a lot of really cool free things so I got the Kat Von D. Studded kiss

Mmm. This is the cream or creme lipstick and so they sent it into a little box like this and when you open it up

Is when you open it up it has I loved this picture that she took

I don't know if you guys saw it on social media, but she did all the studded kisses

And it are the lips, and then she put on an orange wig and I don't know there was just something so like

2030 about it something so futuristic and I really really just loved it

She is vegan and cruelty free and she's got a lot of

Lipsticks, this is the first vegan high pigmented matte lipstick with crazy comfortable long where they have 40 plus

shades including everlasting

Bestsellers now in lipstick form so I assume these little ones with like they have asterisk asterisk

Next to them so all of your favorites that come in a liquid lip now come in

Liquid form and it does come with a white out mixer so that you can

Mix and match and make different shades if you don't have the one that you want which I think is really really cool

But this product will send to me for Complementary purposes to review so it comes in a little

Package like this, and it is the cat by the booty studded kiss and I got the shade

Cathedral and by the way the packaging on this. Oh my god

I would love to just have like a little shelf back here. Well. This is fabric

So I'm not back here, but somewhere of all of these because these are so freaking cute look at all like little SIDS

It's so badass. This is the shade and you can see that Kat Von D

Is imprinted right into the side now what I know about? This is I've been wearing it for quite a while

I had to reapply because I ate and I drank, but it does stay, and if I didn't reapply it would be fine

We applied it for video purposes

Putting it on like a dream like a dream

It went on smooth, but not too smooth. You know when you put on something too smooth. You know it's gonna wipe off

Yeah, no not this you could tell that it was gonna stay the color is stunning

I feel like somebody over it and flu answer was like we feel like amber would like this color. You're right

So like I said during application. It was a gorgeous application. I could tell immediately that this is a very luxurious

Lipstick it's beautiful. It smells like cake some sort of like really good baked good

But not in like it over like vanilla, maybe vanilla

Like just a soft hint of vanilla

I will be purchasing some more nummies unless for some reason they decided to send me more of these which I mean

But all around I'm just really happy that I got the opportunity to try one of these out anyways

This is a short super short video

Because they only sent me one lipstick

So I don't have any lip swatching things to do I've already cleared on I'm already wearing it

You saw me apply it. I like it what else do I have to cover. I think that's it oh the price

Oh my god, twenty dollars

Okay, so I just found out that this retails at Sephora for twenty dollars, which is nothing because I've paid more for lipsticks

I have lipsticks. I think my YSL of six

They're like 40 something dollars, but for twenty dollars for a product this good that you'll never go through

Unless you wear the same shade every day. Honestly that is such a steal

Oh my god, and if you're into lip color hmm, and I like it too because it's not a matte finish

But it's not a light glossy finish. I I died for a satin finish

Sometimes I feel a gloss very rarely do I feel a matte I feel like Matt's age me so if I do something

That's not glossy. I love a satin. It just makes my lips feel so like

Hydrated that's it for me. I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did please give it a big thumbs up

Don't you subscribe and share it with the world so we can achieve world domination

if you're into all things feeding and baby make sure you this sorry sub cynicism and then

But in that notification ball, so you don't miss anything and you can follow me on all my other social media

Which is Facebook YouTube Instagram, and I will see you next time

BOOK REVIEW: Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng - Duration: 7:45.

Bibliophiles of the internet, my name's Adriana

and today I'm here to finally talk about "Little Fires Everywhere" by Celeste Ng.

"Little Fires Everywhere" is Celeste Ng's second book, following "Everything I Never Told You."

It's another domestic drama about a photographer named Mia Warren and her high school age daughter,

Pearl. They constantly move from one place to another,

but they're hoping to lay down roots in Shaker Heights.

Shaker Heights is a suburb in Ohio. It's known as a "planned" community,

and there are rules and regulations about everything,

and entire committees put into place to make sure citizens follow these rules.

Mia is renting space in a small duplex from the Richardsons,

who are your typical ultra white, lavishly rich, mega privileged wonder bread family.

There are four Richardson children, and Pearl immediately befriends one of them

named Moody, and she starts hanging around the Richardson house a lot.

The youngest Richardson, Izzie, becomes enamored with Mia's work and volunteers to be her assistant,

while Mrs. Richardson, fancying herself a generous person, insists that Mia come work a few days a week

as their housekeeper, just to make sure she can make rent while still pursuing art.

So Mia and Pearl's lives become hopelessly entangled with those of their landlords.

And things get more complicated when one of Mrs. Richardson's best friends tries to adopt a Chinese baby,

May Ling, and Mia happens to know the biological mother through her second job.

And once she passes on what she knows, a fierce custody battle ignites.

"Everything I Never Told You" is one of the absolute best things I've ever read.

I was eagerly awaiting Ng's sophomore release for YEARS,

and let me tell you, this one did *not* disappoint.

I think what I like most about Celeste Ng's books is that none of her characters are unknowable;

each and every one of them is capable of being known.

When she first introduces you to her characters, she focuses your attention in on the easy stereotypes,

on the ways you can immediately write these people off. And then slowly, as the story progresses,

she chips away at each character and forces you to realize that they're all coming from someplace.

These people don't exist in a vacuum. They're not easy to dismiss because they all have full lives

and full histories. They all have moments and people who shaped them into who they are today.

So even if you don't agree with them, you can at least empathize with their viewpoints.

It's also great the way the story explores the dynamic between parents and their children.

There's children who are seen as objects, possessions, trophies, physical markers of success,

and there are children who are allowed to discover their own agency and learn to make their own mistakes,

as terrifying as that is.

There's a lot of talk about how parents feel a sense of ownership over their children,

how that can be confronted in a productive way and how it can quickly turn toxic.

And I love the parallels between how the Richardsons and Mia both have teenagers who are rebelling,

bucking up against the rules, testing the limits, and we see how these different parents

deal with their "control" over their children slipping away.

But also how this Chinese baby is at a point in her life where *everything* she does

is entirely in the control of other people. She can't speak for herself.

The trajectory of her life is just a speculation at this point.

So you really see how control and ownership over children fluctuates from storyline to storyline,

and how these ideas are often subject to change as life progresses.

The story also centers this discussion about what you deserve,

what you are "owed," especially in relation to following the rules

or doing things the quote-unquote "right" way.

The citizens of Shaker Heights, especially Mrs. Richardson, place a special value on following the rules.

There's this idea that if you keep your lawn certain height or plant a tree on every curb,

you will actually ascend to the height of personhood.

To them, there's a clear cause and effect.

If you follow the rules, you deserve success,

you deserve the right to run your life and your family as you see fit.

If you DON'T subscribe to these rules, if you're interlopers like Mia and Pearl,

who live paycheck to paycheck and scrounge up mismatched furniture from the secondhand store,

who sleep on mattresses without bed frames, then you forfeit your right to privacy and peace,

and it's open season for calling your decisions and lifestyle into question.

We all like to think there's a right way to get to where we want to get, but in reality, as Mr. Richardson says,

rules imply that there's a right way and a wrong way, when in practice there are really just *ways*.

So many ways.

And it's not for us to say which way is less.

Going off that, the story really emphasizes how women, especially, are most subject to relentless scrutiny,

and even more so when we're talking about mothers.

One of the most poignant moments in this story for me was this brief exchange between Mrs. Richardson

and her two daughters, when she's having The Talk with them and says that childbearing,

the possibility of becoming pregnant, is one of life's most serious responsibilities,

and Izzie corrects her by saying, "You mean vulnerabilities."

I think that's one of the realest things I've ever read.

People who are read as feminine, people who are capable of bearing children,

their mistakes are held under a microscope.

Everyone's waiting for them to fail, and once they make that mistake, it's like their credibility,

their validity as a human is shot. It's a losing game.

For people like The Richardsons, or even their friends trying to adopt May Ling,

people who've done everything "right" in life, their fitness as a parent is a given, they have a right to their dignity.

For someone like Bebe Chow, May Ling's biological mother, a Chinese immigrant caught in a system

that devalues immigrants, who doesn't make a lot of money and who didn't have access to many financial

or emotional resources as a new mother, who left her child at a fire station, which allowed her to finally

get attention for her physical and mental health,

she has to find a way to actively prove her fitness as a parent.

And I think that just speaks to the systematic privileging of white people.

If you don't fit that mold, you're starting way behind the curve,

fighting ten times harder just to reach the starting line.

Even if you make no mistakes, one mistakes, many mistakes,

you're practically out of the race before it even begins.

You're starting from the parking lot.

The story just makes you think about both latent and literal rules that govern our lives.

Who makes these rules? Who *benefits* from these rules?

Who gets to decide what is the "wrong" way or how we even define a "mistake"?

That's what's most fascinating, because parents like Mrs. Richardson or even Mrs. McCullough,

May Ling's prospective mother, are by no means perfect.

They don't have perfect relationships or lives,

and yet their mistakes are not scrutinized the same way people scrutinize Bebe's or even Mia's "mistakes."

When people like Bebe or Mia make "mistakes," those mistakes become "public issues,"

they become fodder for "public commentary," and everybody gets a say.

*That's* really why suddenly everybody has an opinion on this situation.

That's why the case of May Ling ignites a firestorm in Shaker Heights.

And what makes this case so impossible is that people want May Ling to end up with the perfect mother,

but by definition the perfect mother doesn't exist!

There's no one person who is perfectly equipped to not only anticipate

but *meet* every single need another human has or will ever have.

Again, that's something we see in every mother-daughter relationship in this book.

Most children, inevitably, long for more than their parents can give them,

no matter how much or how little wealth, comfort, culture, or love exists in that relationship.

All these mothers are trying to figure out how to do right by their children,

and what's "right" is not only a case-by-case choice, but it's often not clear,

and that's okay.

That's the crux of this story, I think, that people are allowed to be imperfect.

Women, mothers, daughters, humans are allowed to be imperfect.

The scariest thing about life, and perhaps the most comforting thing, is that there's no one way to exist.

There are so many different, complicated ways to make a life,

and we have to find a way to make our peace with that.

All of this is just the tip of the iceberg. Just like her first book,

"Little Fires Everywhere" leaves so much to be explored and to discuss.

This was a clear five-star book for me, and I would love to hear your take on the story in the comments below.

But that's everything I had for this review today. Thank you so much for watching this video.

I really hope that you enjoyed it, and I will catch YOU on the flip-side of the page.

Bye!

Philips 241B7QUPEB USB Docking Monitor Review - Duration: 10:50.

everyone I'm Ricky from Tech Talk and today we're going through the full

review of the Philips USB a docking LCD monitor

massive thank you to Philips for sending this out to me to review and test that

with my media and my video editing production throughout the Christmas

period and it's been a real enjoyment so the model number for this monitor is two

for one at B seven at qu peb it's from there B line and the link for this

monitor will be in the description so you can go to Philips web page and check

it out for yourself but I want to give you my opinion and also some key facts

about this monitor before you go and purchase so it's a 24-inch monitor but

the actual proper diagonal measurement is twenty three point eight inches and

sixty point five centimeters and that's diagonally across the display so it's a

full HD resolution which is 1920 by 1080 P which offers a sixteen point nine

aspect ratio in 93 X's per inch density so response time for this is five

milliseconds and that's always greater gray has a contrast ratio of 1,000 to

one and a smart contrast ratio of twenty million to one and the color quantity on

here sixteen point seven million colors so this monitor is very special as it

connects through a USB connection also you do have a VGA connection to a

notebook PC Mac or whatever device you are using and this offers a great

versatility to this monitor so coming around to the back of our monitor here I

just want to show you how you release your catch as well there's a catch under

here if you just press the button in you can then bring off your mount here and

underneath there there is a VESA mount every easy to click the pins in as I

showed in the unboxing video but this way we get a better look as well at our

port underneath so under here and the far left we have our power connection

and a dedicated on/off switch we have our VGA connection an Ethernet

connection a microphone and a headphone jack

then you have your connecting a USB cable there it will connect into your

MacBook PC notebook laptop of your choice and then you can see that we have

three USB 3 ports there which are backwards compatible as I discussed

connect your multimedia devices or any other third party USB connections again

you have your cable management system through the back here and the

is also where your monitor rises and also you do have these clips here for

cable management - as it's powered through that USB it then powers a USB 3

or backwards compatible USB 2 docking system at the back not as you a range of

ports to connect either and Ethernet cable as it has built-in internet

connection your mic your headset and then also a range of USB 3 ports that

you can connect third-party connections - like your keyboard your mouse will

harddrive a microphone for instance this can really add to your home space so say

you took your notebook to work come home and then connect with one cable to this

monitor having a great display a larger display than what you have on your

notebook and then a range of connections to all different devices that just work

when you plug in which I think it's actually fantastic I've plugged in all

sorts and everything has worked I have tested to like I discussed it has an

advanced USB 3 or USB 2 backward plug and play capability which makes it nice

and easy just for you to connecting your devices this monitor has an IPS LCD

display which means that you have advanced technology that offers a wide

angle viewing for 178 degrees that means it's really versatile you can look at

multiple different angles has the ability to pivot in a 90 degree angle

mode and unlike standard channels an IPS display gives you the remarkable crisp

images with vivid colors making it ideal not only for photos or film and web

browsing but also the professional applications that demand color accuracy

and constant brightness at all times so as you can see around the monitor here

we have three very narrow bezels and very smooth buzzers as well making it

ideal to stack these monitors next to each other maybe one on top the new

philips display features an ultra narrow orders which allow for minimal

distraction and maximum viewing size which I agree here is very nice to do we

do have a feature on here called smart image presets which offer you the

ability to change your settings just by flicking through and as you can see when

I'm doing this the smart image is an exclusive leading-edge Philips

technology that analyzes the content displayed on your screen

no optimizes your display performance it's user-friendly interface

allows you to select various modes like office photo movie game economy to fit

the application in use based on the selection smart image dynamically

optimizes the contrast colors saturations sharpness of images and

videos for the ultimate display preference or performance and the one

other one that I want to talk about is the low blue light mode which offers you

the ability to use your monitor maybe late at night and it doesn't affect your

eyes like we see on our smart phones it's really nice to have on this monitor

it will also offer you flicker-free technology the economy mode option

offers you a major power savings all in real time in one touch of a single

button the smart pergo base that philips used for them on set is absolutely

stunning i'm so pleased with this so you have the ability to tilt the display

either -5 or 2 plus 30 and let me show you that now so the best way to show you

this is show the ability to actually swivel the display and you can swivel

this all the way around to 175 degrees so if you go all the way around

so as you can see I've got some cables running behind here which is actually

going to stop that go from all the way and you can choose then to change your

cables and manage them correctly all thanks to a cable management system down

here at the bottom so you also have the ability to tilt your monitor as I

discussed you can go to minus five so that is minus 5 or 2 plus 30 and that's

plus 30 when pulled down that is really great for checking out my latest content

and seeing how well my videos are doing on YouTube so if I come all the way up

you then have the ability to rotate this monitor in a 90 degree pivot let's swing

this background so if I swing this background here and then bring down you

can see how versatile the people that are doing a photographic editing which

is really nice all for a professional application use again very easy to move

very easy but feels very sturdy at the same time so only pivot in one weight so

please note that you do have a 2 built-in stereo speakers which run along

the bottom here and I can show you them in the photos as well as all the

different photos don't know long showing you all different sides of this monitor

and that's for multimedia use if you want to you could then plug-in it

separate USB powered or USB connection speakers as well to get a more

professional sound as these are only just built-in beakers but are also nice

to house so taking a closer look at the bottom bezel of our monitor here and the

menu system so along the bottom here you've got brilliant and then at 2 for 1

B so you have Philips in the middle here also you have a sensor in the middle

here when turned on in the menu system will actually wake up you'll display it

I actually darkness off as I kept waking it up you can turn it back on quite

easily in the menu you have the 7 star energy rating system there and then also

you have along the bottom here your menu options and other buttons on the monitor

so there buttons just underneath the bottom bezel here so first of all we

have smart image and as I discussed going through smart images this presets

and changes you're honest or you straight away without you actually going

in it through the settings next to that you have your input button so either USB

or VGA then you have your volume up or all your

volume down then you also have your menu here so in menu it has then the power

sensor you can turn on and off and you can cycle through in the menu system

here calibrating the monitor there's loads of different settings in here I've

kept it all very basic how it's come out the box and then just use the preset

smart image selection well should I think is your better option but the menu

system is there it's nice and easy to navigate but I do believe this is the

best option choosing this one that's best for you in the smart image

selection and you can see it just changes and adjusts my monitor for me so

easily and I don't have to worry about going through the menu system there so

my personal thoughts for this - oh it's nice it's small its compact it's great

that you have the ability to sit next to each other build it your display rig up

if you want to do like the smart image selection as it does protect my eyes

late at night I change into different modes as well I get great different

features from the monitor it's - it really shows off great colors as well

and great color representation through my photographs when I'm checking out my

photographs I've taken it over other products and then also when it comes to

video editing just sits there and makes it a lot larger display compared to my

13-inch MacBook prime so I was very pleased to review this monitor and I've

had it for a good while now one thing I do want to say is when you first connect

this up to a macbook that you will need to use the display link software that is

provided on this CD but most Mac's don't come with CD drives anymore but is

easily downloadable the link will be in the description and also I put a link up

to this once awakened by here in the UK and US and I really do like the feel of

the monitor as well as quite a professional made monitor I would say

this it's more for a professional use as well more an office type use than a

heavy multimedia use as the USB is not HDCP protection you can't use netflix

for instance it will detect that it's not over a protected cable so but this

could be changed with the VGA so if you do have any questions or queries about

this before you may be going paratus please

leave a comment down below but I'd be more than happy to help so massive thank

you to Philips for supplying this monitor to me over the Christmas period

and into the new year and I'm excited to work in partnership through 2018 to see

which other monitors are coming to market so this was my final review on

the Philips two-for-one East 7qu peb monitor the link will be in the

description thanks always for watching and I'll see you very soon bye for now

RETROactive Ep 7: Godzilla Planet Of Monsters (Netflix Movie Review) - Duration: 10:21.

oh hello folks G fool here and welcome to retroactively where I review movies

games and whatever I feel like reviewing at the time the Netflix Godzilla movie

came out today part 1 I'm gonna add that other right now and I just finished it

and I am like I have to explain it in this video how I feel about this movie

but I will say this I think it's good I don't think it's the best but given that

it's part one I feel like it's gonna get way better so with that being said folks

let's begin with

so Netflix made a Godzilla movie no no no not that one this is an anime

okay stop j4 you're getting out of control here no no no that is wrong here

here here let me fix this um Godzilla can you please take care of

this wannabe

there it's dead no more mention of them movie or cartoon ever again

Netflix made a Godzilla anime movie that is to be part one in a trilogy of anime

films the biggest concern for fans was does Godzilla work as an anime and I

think Netflix answered with a resounding yes

now before warned though this movie is an anime movie before it is a Godzilla

movie and in fact there may be more Godzilla in the 2014 Godzilla movie than

there is in this one but what this movie has over that movie is that it captures

the fear in destruction that Godzilla represents whereas in the 2014 Godzilla

movie Godzilla just kind of happens where in this movie Godzilla is a

reckoning he's a reminder and a beast of pure raw power and strength that is

meant to Humble humanity and bring it to the ground by a shaking scared and

quivering knees you may have wanted Godzilla versus some kind of kaiju like

the Muto or Rodin but what we got was something closer to what Godzilla is

actually meant to represent in the original films an unbridled force of

sheer destruction and power that cannot be tamed by man in the original movie is

Godzilla represented the ultimate form of untamed untapped power present human

history at the time a short time ago an American airplane

dropped one bomb on Hiroshima and this nuclear fission

Godzilla's first rampage was inspired by the destruction of Hiroshima and

Nagasaki now it's important to point out that after a while Japan no longer

blamed America for the destruction of their two cities as much as they had

before but they came to realize that the wanton destruction of mankind was to

blame Japan heavily included themselves in that description dedicating all their

efforts to never participate calls or influence anything close to DoDEA - or

the dropping of the bombs fat man and little boy ever again

guardzilla was created to represent mankind's self-destructive tendencies

and the realization that most bad things that happen to the world mankind

inflicts upon itself and that is very much what it feels like in this movie

with how this movie's story is told humanity has fled earth because

Godzilla's rampage threatened the whole of humanity on earth humans leave in

search of a new planet failing to do so for 22 years

in that span of time the legendary rampage became a boogeyman story for

children and the ever pressing realization that a habitable planet may

not be found for hundreds or even thousands of years causing these

remnants of humanity to doubt they should have ever left to begin with and

they should have stayed and fought instead of fleeing from their one true

home so after using faster than light traveled they sped back to earth

arriving in what felt like 22 years for them 20,000 years for Earth and for

Godzilla now I don't want to spoil the great ending for the first part of three

movies because it's honestly something you should see for yourself and if I'm

being 100% honest it is an all inspiring moment and it left me slack-jawed with

white eyes cuz by the end you realize why humanity ran away

but honestly it banks so much on what happens from beginning to end that I

can't really tell you much pretty much what I told you in this in this video is

most of the beginning of it which I will say that's one plan of tension I had

with it it gives you a bit of a montage of the history of Godzilla and why the

story is going the way it is and I thought that was kind of fast and kind

of rush but it makes sense if they actually went through all that history

then there really you just have a regular Godzilla movie that takes place

on earth now as it is whereas this this is a story about

humanity running away in fear and coming back to a world unknown and that's very

interesting so I'm gonna say it about for its belt - about an hour 20 minutes

long I think or hour 27 weeks long so about 45 minutes into it that's that's

the stuff that you're actually been expecting in Legacy and you actually got

a lot of questions answered I found myself asking several questions that

made me worry that the movies just gonna ignore the land it didn't ignore little

bit actually addressing every question that I thought I had about Godzilla at

least and that whole especially the whole 20,000 year gap that Godzilla

experienced to the 22 years ago and the reason for

that is that they travel effects to the light to one part of the galaxy and then

back so Devin it was 22 years and that was 11 years no no 22 years and then

they traveled back to earth even faster than before risking actually destroying

their entire fleet essentially to give back to earth and the span of about a

month maybe less than that it might have been like almost instantaneous so for

them 22 years with Godzilla 20,000 years so which they thought was only 10,000

years so that's very interesting and so having said I don't mean to keep

rambling my best description of the show and this is just my easiest descriptors

I'm not saying it's exactly this that it has to be this or that everyone's going

to see like this no no I would say attack on Titan by the sheer size and

imposing figure that Godzilla is and his complete disregard for Humanity that's

what he represents many so that's a big theme in attack on Titan and then Mass

Effect Andromeda you're probably thinking message Andromeda that's a

horrible game and a horrible story no that's right all right and basically

what I say is that like humans leaving for no galaxy is kind of where I'm

getting at well that's like the drama was about leaving one galaxy for another

because there was a huge threat back they had the other galaxy and for this

show we took Godzilla and then meets Godzilla so attack on Titan means mess

like the drama defeats Godzilla and if the ending is a good payoff in my

opinion like I was very angry with the Batman vs. Superman movie because it

only has its a looks like a three-hour movie with a 20-minute payoff and it

really made me mad this is an hour and 27 minute movie with a scene at the very

end that probably spans about five minutes

this is way worse the late it is jaw-dropping I mean I'm not even joking

this is this was my face and this reenactment there you go so that being

said folks I will end the show here and if you haven't subscribe to the channel

hit that subscribe button down below give it a like share around your friends

and I'll see you guys on the other side so see you guys later

bye-bye oh and Wordsworth Peppa
