Fallkniven S1 Knife Review. Beating on the Classic Outdoor Survival Knife. - Duration: 8:45.

I'm kind a city slicker nowadays.

YEAH BOY I COULD TELL YA WERE ONE.

It's ok I can use that voice without being offensive- I grew up in Arkansas and have

family members that talk like that…

So though I'm a city slicker I still can admire a nice big fixed blade for some future

theoretical camping, or pretending to Youtube Bushcraft- a very specific style of bushcraft

where fires are instantly started with a ferro rod, and creating feather sticks and wood

shaving piles only takes a quick minute or two.

Fallkniven a company from Sweden makes a whole line of fancy yet tough people fixed blades.

And on the other hand I can't do a Swedish accent without creating an international incident-

although I'm really tempted.

The main ones that show up on Youtube and social media outdoor off the grid simple living

accounts with pristene knives are the small F1 with a blade in the mid 3 inch range, the

S1 just over 5 inches and seen here, and the A1 a little over 6 inches.

Now they have pro versions of these nearing $300, but they can eat a feather stick if

they think this guy will pay that much.

And as an aside they make a big ass bowie called the NL1, that's cat call worthy-

but $529.

So let's dimension it up with the S1 standard version with the leather dangler sheath option

that costs more than the standard zytel sheath option, a sheath that somehow manages to look

cheaper and uglier than a Mora's.

Like the overall length and weight.

With and without the sheath.

Looks aside Zytel might be a better option for wetter climates because Zytel is plastic

and leather retains moisture.

Blade size and cutting edge.

Note the perfect convex grind without a microlevel.

Handle size and grip area.

Look it has a glass breaker on the butt- so you can escape your overturned car like on

the infomercials.

Spine thickness and handle thickness.

Yeah it's a stout blade.

I think Cedric and Ada has a shirt for that.

Tallnesses!

One of the trademarks of the Fallkniven alphabet series is the slightly unusual for the type

of knife blade.

A lot of knives in this category are flat or hollow grinds with just a carbon steel

or I guess something nicer like 3V or whatever your into now- but the Fallkniven features

a laminated steel with a convex grind.

Fallkniven uses a few laminated steel varieties but in this particular knife we have what

they call laminated VG10 which uses 420J2 as it's secondary steel.

Laminated means there are a few layers of steel sandwiched or enchanted together because

they say it makes it stronger and more corrosion resistant.

Here is the official statement from their website, so pause it if you're into reading

about steels.

Just make sure the blinds are closed.

Now a convex grind like this is best sharpened free hand or with the sandpaper mouse pad

method to preserves the rounded convex edge.

I'll link a video at the end.

Convex edges are ideal for outdoor general purpose stuff because they're durable due

to the more steel behind the edge.

Breaking up wood, cutting through cardboard in the forest, cleaning kilt animals- whatever.

I will say convex edges are useful, but if you're looking for paper thin cuts or a

super slicer knife, thinner behind the edge knives with a thinner blade stock are better,

if you need Youtube chef precision.

A sharp S1 pro cuts and splits, versus cuts and slices, if that makes sense.

Just make sure you keep it sharp.

Different thickness convex edges on other knives may yield different results- I'm

just referring to this knife.

I'm sure you have a convex edge that's a better slicer than all of your other knives

an I'm wrong.

The handle.

The handle has a full length tang, not quite full height- just do a google image search

to see what I mean.

It's fairly tall and to be quite honest, shouldn't be any difference in overall strength

than a full height full length tang.

Yes even your hard use.

Fallkniven refers to it as a broad tang.

The handle covering is not removable without cutting it off, but it's a type of TPE called

Thermorun containing rubber and plastic.

Crass speaking of course.

I'm just saying if you use technical terms that refer to the chemical component makeup

of the handle and call it crass terminology when there's not a single fuck to be found

anywhere you're showboating.

So kudos for Fallkniven for creating a product description that talks down to the reader.

It doesn't really have much give to it, so it's hard, but offers a ton of grip.

It would be super swell if Fallkniven would make a removable esee style handle, if it

ever needed replacement after hard use, but they don't.

That's what duck tape and paracord are for.

The handle is comfortable, great in forest slime, and fit my hand well.

Although I'm not gonna lie I think I wish I got the A1 now.

The sheath.

I got the leather option because I wanted to spend $30 more.

I tend to store my knives inside, and generally don't play outside when wet, so leather

makes sense.

Leather on the interior can retain moisture if you put your knife away wet, so think about

the hideous Zytel sheath if you are constantly in wet survival style situations- or are covered

in blood because you're that fucking tactical.

The sheath dangles, just like I like, it's thick welted leather, so it should last a

lifetime or until you throw it up on knife club in carried a few times but never used

condition.

How about comparisons.

I knew you'd ask!

First the S1.

The fit and finish of the knife is great.

It just feels well thought out an functional.

I know the knife industrial complex loves churning out new designs and upgrades, to

make you want to upgrade after you've upgraded… but I like this simple aesthetic.

And hey they make a more expensive version just to keep a fool and his money separate.

Grippy, durable, and tasteful.

Now the Survival combat ready Dogs Head Utility knife.

I'll be honest, I like the standard edge of this a bit better- however the blade is

kind of a ridiculous length- but sometimes I don't make the best decisions so I still

like it.

It's also half the price.

Now the Esee 3.

One of these days I'm gonna get an uncoated Esee, but until Esee offers me a free one,

or I find a good deal on one, I'll just wait.

Smaller…

I like more better the micarta handle to the TPE, crass speaking.

Now the Vangedal Rover.

Thin flat grind, a bit better for slicing I think.

Despite having a wood handle this one has held up well to abuse and camping and is only

$40.

This might be a better value on a budget.

Ok that's it, I mean not quite IT.

The fallkniven is an excellent Swedish made by way of Japan knife.

As in like their knives are made mostly or all-ly in Japan.

But they think about them in Sweden.

Like some spydercos!

I've used this knife quite a bit on breaking down all of my amazon knife packaging.

And some food, and you know backyard stuff too.

Long term testing will reveal is this becomes a favorite knife of mine.

I have quite a few knives now- but seeing as Ive had requests for this and see it talked

about on the internet a lot I thought I'd try it.

You know a knife has to be good if people talk for pages about it on the internet.

If you're doing some dumb stuff with your knife, like battening- the larger A1 might

be better with a longer blade.

I ain't gonna be the channel to tell you to get a smaller knife- because that's stupid!

If you're a boring dude or dudette and are eating and cleaning game the smaller Esee

3 sized F1 or this one are good choices.

The knife is well balanced and just feels right but a little expensive in my hand.

can just get a wordpress hosting and domain and just go on Fiverr and search

for someone to install you insta builder for five dollars there are a lot of

people doing that but you can also do the same thing get a WordPress hosting

and domain and go on Fiverr and search for thrive content and as you can see

right here this person can install your thrive content for five dollars and in

my opinion thrive content is a way better page builder than instabuilder

but either way there's no reason to spend $80 on insta builder when you can

get it for $5 okay so now module number five so it's basically all about funnel

creation how to set up your funnel how to set up your autoresponder and stuff

like that then we have module number five which is all about traffic

generation so they have included multiple traffic methods which is

something that I really like now as you can see the first method is Google Ads

and the cool thing about it is that they also show you how to get $75

at grellus so you don't have to spend any of your own money then we have a

video on how to set up your ad campaigns on search and display networks then

so really good.I can imagine that this watch did not sell itself so fast because of the high price

so the answer is now the 2211 Signature. this costs only 200 USD

I have it here. I'm glad. because it is really a cool product

for those who always need lighting for every occasion

For firearms, airsoft, leisure, camping, bushcraft and so on

And also a great alternative to the conventional weaponlight

but now back again. I'm talking too much again :-)

The wristlight has a CREE XPG2 LED and the Surefire Maxvision Beam for perfect illumination in dark rooms

The Signature has three light modes. High, medium and low. It is switched on either of these two buttons

once pressed, the high mode turns on

press again, the lamp goes out

to activate the other mode the button has to be pressed within 2 seconds

then always switch between high, medium, low and off

Medium has 60 lumens and operating time of 4 hours

Low has only 15 lumens but the operating time is 13 hours

You can change the order of the mode. instead of high at the beginning you can also have low at the beginning

Plug in USB (charging mode). Then press the button three times until LOW mode

wait 5 seconds, turn off and then unplug the cable

and if I turn on now, the first mode is LOW. Then medium and high

In the lamp housing a lithium ion battery is installed

you can charge it with a usb cable

you have an LED indicator here. Green means the battery is still well charged (if flashlight on)

The signature has a standard clockwork. I do not know the manufacturer

no tritium illumination. You have to charge the clock by a light source.

After a while, the illumination will be discharged.Of course, tritium is a better thing!

the wristlight has a 60 click anti-clockwise bezel. ideal for diving

You can also use the bezel for other time measurements.

also for your Airsoftgame. Set a time by turning the bezel to the desired time

if now the attack should start in 10 minutes. Just wait until the minute hand is on the 10 (Bezel)

The watch comes with a separate battery. To change you have to solve these 4 screws. It is a standard watch battery

I have the 2211 signature on my arm.that's how it looks

a huge monster. Elegant is definitely different :-)

really tight on the arm does not bother the weight of the clock

The benefits are obvious. You now have both hands free!

and you can still shine in the dark with the weapon without a flashlight in your hand.

I had the 2211 Signature in an airsoft game and I was extremely excited

The handling was cool. I show a movie clip of the airsoftgame.

it was really optimal. I had the lamp always ready and both hands free.

the light goes with the weapon and lights everything well

it works with a rifle, too if you use the "C-Clamb"

The destination is well lit and the lamp has gone free

if you keep the rifle normal, the target is also illuminated but light is lost on hand and barrel!

so the c-clamb is the better handle. And also very modern :-)

So only benefits with the 2211 wristlight

My conclusion. The 2211 Signature is cheaper than the Lumiox and offers you almost everything that the Luminox has. The tritium illumination is missing

There are other slimmer Wristlights. But they do not have a clock. If you can do without the watch, you save money again

Do I need the 2211 Wristlight? Especially for Germany it is a great product to legally have a gun light.

You have both hands free to light your target with a pistol or rifle.

nothing bothers and the flashlight can not fall down

whether it is worth 200 USD for you. You have to decide that yourself.

The availability in Germany is also quite rare. I'm looking for you to search and write all the product links in the video description

As today while working I had a though while using one of my product (Usb 3.0 HUB + Gigabit

Ethernet) from Ugreen that I almost have 50+ products now from ugreen which includes different

type of cables, connectors, gadgets and other tools which can be used with PC or Mobile.

When I was looking on Youtube I didn't find much of those products and there are several

reviews yet. I though it good idea to make videos on all of those and might be these

will be help if someonse is looking for similar product or review. First I would like to say

that this video is not sponsored and I am not getting paid for this video. Since the day

I started using this brand product I liked their product quality and I ordered where ever

there products are available like audio cables, splitter, X Y splitter, USB extension, HDMI

cables, USB audio card, USB 3 Extension, USB gigabit ethernet, CAT 7 cables, USB to SATA

cables, velcro, USB c to 3.0, and much more

I already explained lot so stuff let start reviewing this product after this last line

that I used to purchase all this products from ebay.com and these products are shipped

from China and from this trusted seller I will provide you the link in description from whom I usually get it in 14

days with free shipping. Now start the review.

As prior using this product USB 3.0 to 3.0 Hub + Gigabit switch I was using one generic

one which was alos imported form china using ebay.com and that costed me around $10 or

$12 and it has realtek chip controller for gigabit LAN as while using I found major 2 problems

sometime disconnected automatically when not in use where from setting all settings were

modified to prevent it from to go to sleep and other when I was using it Surface Pro 4 or

Mac Air after waking the machines from sleep I was not getting connected automatically

Using LAN and same to the connected USB devices whereas Transfer speed on Gigabit and USB

3.0 devices were fine. I have to disconnect it form USB and have to reconnect it agian

to make it working whereas while using this product I like mainly everything

1) Even when system is coming out of the sleep Surface pro 4 or mac products it automatically

get connnected to LAN and USB devices

2) It has individual Light indicators for connected USB devices

3) In LAN it has no indicator ligh but is using chip from AXIX which perform exceptionally

well and perform awesome always

4) It has additional power adaptor support if you are using devices which need additional

power.

5) Very compact in design and length of wire is appropriate to settle it on desk even if

you are using it with Surface Pro 4

6) Built quality well and as of such beautiful design you can use it as hub or buy on hub

version with no ethernet if you would like to use it under your desk with 3M tape to

extend the length to reach out it to PC you can use USB 3.0 Extension and length to which

is also customization while purchasing

Personally I found no drop in disk to disk transfer even both disk are connected to it

like I tested it with one Samsung 850 EVO SSD and other Corsair Flash GTX 256 GB Flash

SSD drive connected both to this hub and also tested transfer with multiple machines on

Gigabit like one was connected directly to this hub using CAT 7 and TP Link 5 port gigabit

switch further connected and one of the machine connected to same router while other connected

to router to which this tplink router is connected and I almost got 87 to 98 Mbps every time

while transferring data

I hope I almost covered everything form my experience but still if you found anything

not covered please ask me in comments I would be happy to answer. I am also planning to

make videos on almost all the products which I have from Ugreen and will explain the procedure

can actually open it with your foot too so this is really great good helpful

when you go to shopping and you don't have any hands-free so that's pretty

cool so the new Volvo v60 trunk this is the first that we can talk we have your

LED light and place for the medical kit the trunk look big with a lot of space

you can actually pull these two if you wanna have known now in the prior

something like that down here you have everything flat this is what I like

about the car that's everything that we have some hookers here in the red and

look at this you can put a lot of luggage here and you have all kind of

option to carry stuff here and you even have a place under here as you can see

you can put there some things in the car so the whole ball have always a lot of

space this is the bigger one a bigger than before mondo he'll have free LED

right in the trunk and now you can close the trunk trunk it's

around 526 I think leader and here is the new LED light very much you have

some plastic and it's red light reflector and they're LED lights to the

number I don't have to say a lot about Volvo because you already know that the

ball will have very good quality on the materials and everything so I just have

to say that Volvo with the last model they did a great job and it's a

beautiful design and it's really more spacious and look at this these lines

they make the car a little bit more sporty too much much nicer

they come with Michelin tires as standard and this is looking freaky well

the color border there simple in good quality and I like the car on the white

and the white it's looks pretty nice look at this design look at these lines

down here it's really beautiful it's a nice car and here we have

interesting lines to protect upper part of the car I think from the Stone

they make it a little bit and outside so it's looked pretty good I like the fact

that it's all in white even this protection plastic down here it's in the

white and that's give the car a little bit more style and quality and I find it

pretty nice so some chrome here up here you can put an extra trunk so you can

carry a lot of stuff with you it's really practical this the Volvo v60 like

all other Volvo now I just want to show you the LED light from the front this is

my favorite looks so beautiful there we have the new technology with high beam

automatic high-beam and all other cornering light and stuff to get this

front looks so sporty so beautiful I really like this chrome line here on the

side and the decide to look nice now I think it's more beautiful than then some

of the other cars here on the light we have two volvo sign and down here we

have another fog light that's looking nice so what do you think guys about

this front but I like it very much the front of the cars look so sporty so nice

now you can just watch for yourself and just see from behind here it's look nice

the white color on the Volvo v60 it's looking very nice and I'm pretty excited

nice too I like this car I wish they'd make it in the future

multimedia display here you have it's very simple on Volvo to work with very

intuitive you can actually you have here a lot of option a lot of for example

here is the GPS that can show you parking place and all kind of stuff

where you can go here we have some safety assistant and it's very easy to

use you just click it you have two cameras here in the back you can see the

lines we don't have on this car 3d cameras but you can take it as an option

and you can have it as an option so the visibility in the black it's pretty well

if you have a camera you don't need nothing else because it's easy to park

with the camera here we have the the button in the middle when you push it

you go in the main screen so here what kind of option for steering wheel

for reading the sign you can see there and sitting and blind spot Lane Assist

and yeah you know what I mean here in the middle and you push it you

go to the main screen in the main screen all you have to do is just press what

you're interesting in and change the language to you have there the

navigation system to work pretty nice the screen it's glossy it's work really

good and really fast you have a 3d map there and you also have a 2d map so it's

pretty easy to use now going back and I go to the left we have some extra

information here about the consumption and about the car so here is the status

of the car you can see the oil how many petrol you have here the wheels if

everything it's fine with the car there you can see the errors here we have the

button the blinking button kind of small here it's interesting I was I preferred

it a little bit more in the middle like on the other cars but it's okay here you

can control them multimedia you can play the radio and the music here in the

middle down here we have some place very small place for the keys or something

like that and here also the cup holders and 12

port right there and place for your mobile against there here is the start

engine button here's the handbrake electric ten breaking out of hold and

down here we have some two USB port and a place to put your stuff it's pretty

useful pretty nice like I said the dashboard and everything it's very good

quality I want to tell this again down here - we have a nice chrome that's like

plastic here but it's pretty nice down here we have some plastic and here is

the space yeah a lot of space there and LED light

I like these details I like to know that they're it's LED light everywhere in the

car or not like on the Hyundai where it's led only in some parts and some

parts they're not so this car have led everywhere so Volvo respect their

premium status so yeah so guys I know that you comment always that it's too

long but for some people they want to buy this car they wanna see every detail

BITCOINHD (BHD) - What Is BitcoinHD - BitcoinHD (BHD) Review - Duration: 5:01.

and today let's talk about Bitcoin HD it's very interesting product and I hope

that you will like this review so we'll stay attentive and let's begin

BitcoinHD is soon to be released and it will totally change the current landscape of bitcoin mining

ASIC monopoly has given miner producers the power to raise miner

price at their will, mining farm centralization has caused barrier to

entry, not to mention it's enormous energy wastes, surpassing 159 countries.

BTC mining is now a game of the rich, the monopolists and elites only, making

making normal people simply cannot participate. BHD's vision is to realize the

original ideal of Nakamoto's bitcoin: a currency that anyone could mine, manage, and use.

PoC is a relatively new mining

algorithm for people that don't really have a super powerful computer to do mining.

PoC uses the users available hard drive space, the process allocates a

certain amount of space to generate new coins and that space is used to store

large pieces of data You don't really need to go out and buy thousands of

dollars' worth of equipment to mine proof of capacity efficiently, you can use any

any sort of hard drive, you can even use your phone's hdd to mine them! all you need

is space. Running a hard drive farm is way more efficient that running a GPU farm

Basically meaning that while you mine PoC coins you are also

being more eco friendly than people mining Bitcoin and other PoW cryptos.

There is no need to upgrade equipment, old hard drives and new hard drives work

all you need is space and if one day you decide to stop mining, all you have to do

is delete the data in the hard drive and it will be ready to use, not like GPUs

which after a few months of mining are almost dead. Can promote even more

decentralization because everyone has hard drives so everyone can

theoretically participate in the mining process

amount of electricity, contribute hard disk capacity, the equipment investment

present tense questions the present

simple the present simple questions with

'be' are formed differently from other

verbs are you English 'are' is the form of 'be'

it comes before the subject do you speak

do or does is added before the subject

in the present continuous the questions

are always formed in the same way is it

raining

the form of 'be' comes before the subject

present tense negatives present simple

negatives with 'be' are formed differently

from other verbs I am not French 'not' is

added after the form of 'be' I do not speak

French 'do not' or 'does not' is added

between the subject and the main verb

present continuous negatives are always

formed in the same way it is not raining

not is added after the form of 'be'

Lesson three part two imperatives

imperatives are used to give commands or

make requests they can also be used to

give warnings or directions imperatives

are formed using the base form of the

verb the infinitive without 'to' for

example 'to stop' stop! an exclamation mark

is used if the imperative is urgent

give that to me eat your breakfast help

read this book negative imperatives do

not or don't can be added before the

verb to make an imperative negative do

subjects with imperatives an imperative

sentence does not usually have a subject

but sometimes a noun or a pronoun is
