News on Youtube Oct 5 2018

Jay Haynes for the Film Sensei YouTube Channel. Today, in this video I am going

to build this really far out looking screensaver!

So this actually is inspired by a YouTuber by the name of Amatai Angor

who runs AA VFX. AA VFX is a YouTube channel that does not need any help from

me! With almost three thousand videos, over one hundred thousand subscribers, and

millions of views every month, this channel is really a cool looking channel.

It has all kinds of motion graphic ideas, screen savers, animated stock footage

effects, as well as countdown timers, and things like that. I have been in contact

and talking with him for quite some time, and he gave me a project file to break

down which I will do next week. But today I am going to build something based on

one of his ideas. So Amatai really thinks out of a box, and I'm going to

give you an a sample of how to think out of the box in the way that he does.

I'm going to start by creating a new Composite Shot. I'll just leave it 30

seconds, and I'm going to find the particle simulator and just drag it in

here. As you can see, there it goes. If I open up the controls for this

under General, I can change the Time Shift backwards 60 seconds. So what

this means is... when we are at frame 1, it acts as if it has been going on for a

minute now. So it's not like it's just starting. Then, if I go under Emitter,

Emitters, and I go to to Particle System, General, then I

can take the Particles per Second down to five.

Then if I go into Movement, I can up the Lifetime to the maximum. I can up the

scale to 400... really big. I can change the speed to 50 so that there's (or

even maybe 25), so that there's a bunch of these right and they're moving nice and

slow. I can even change the variation of the colors so that they are all

different crazy and cool colors. If I go under the Lifetime, and I'm just

going to drag it over here, and I look at the Alpha. I can change this to a

gradient. Then I can have those fade in and fade out instead of

simply popping into existence, which might make it look

a little bit strange. Now that I've done that, I'm going to add a Plane and

I'm going to bring that plane underneath. Then I'm going to add a Grade Layer

above it. To that Grade Layer I'm going to add a few effects. The first effect

I think I'm going look for is a Blur Effect I just want to create a little

bit of a fuzziness to it. Then the real secret sauce of this particular

effect is the Chrominator Effect. If I drop that on there you can see that that

makes a sort of a very interesting looking "blobby" thing, and if I open it up

I can change the Detail Scale. I might make it 20, which looks pretty cool.

I might make it 50, which really makes it kind of far out. I could really go

crazy and make it 500... Whoa dude! It's just totally far out over there! I think I'm

going to stay with 50. The other thing I want to add is a Gleam

Effect. A Gleam Effect will get sort of some light rays flying out of there.

Now, could I add other things. For instance... Auto Light Rays or

maybe a Lens Flare or something like that.

You bet! This is just sort of the beginning of an idea, but you can take

this idea and go crazy with it. Experiment, play, and think out of the box

while you're doing this. I'm going to leave a link in the description below

to Amatai's AA VFX website and also to the YouTube channel, and if you want

go, feel free to peruse those a little bit. Next week, I will break down

THIS project file that he provided for me to be able to break down.So until

next week, thanks for watching!

Introducing GuildChat—An app that makes crypto simple for everyone. - Duration: 4:50.

Hey everybody Jared here again from BitGuild. Today I want to talk about one of

the things that we as a company care about the most, and that is how to push

blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies to a massive audience.

So we feel that this technology that we're working with it is groundbreaking,

it is world-changing, but from our perspective it is very hard to use. If

you're to go tell your friend or a family member how to purchase a crypto

currency like Bitcoin or Ethereum or Tron, how to send it to you, how to use a

wallet, store a private key... it's very difficult and it's not something that

the average Joe can understand. So one of the things that we've wanted to work on

is a way to make that more accessible. Today we are incredibly proud to

announce one of the first new products that we've been working on here at BitGuild,

called GuildChat.

GuildChat is a social network powered by blockchain

technology. It includes all the features are used to in your favorite social

network including chat, both one-on-one and group chat - within those chats you

can send text audio pictures and videos, or you can send your GPS location. In

addition we have what we call flow which is a social feed for you to share one to

nine pictures, as well as videos of things you're doing in your everyday

life, and of course we have to have one special cryptocurrency element in there

which maybe some of you can guess, and that is wallets technology. So in our

first version we are going to be enabling both Ethereum and Ethereum

blockchain wallets for ERC tokens, as well as Tron wallets for TRX and other

Tron basic tokens. So what do we do with these crypto

wallets built-in to GuildChat? Well there's many things. You can use it like

any other wallet to make payments. There's QR code scanning functionality,

you can type in somebody's public key and you can send them funds that way.

However we feel that typing in public keys and scanning QR codes is not a very

user friendly experience. So with GuildChat being a social

network with instant messaging functionality, we've figured out what we

think is a much easier way to do it. If you've got a friend named Max, and Max is

on your friends list, all you have to do is open up a message to him just like

you would do in Facebook Messenger, WeChat, or telegram and you can right

there send him cryptocurrency within the message. So there's one more really cool

feature of GuildChat that we want to tell you guys about, and that is what we

call the coin drop. In group chats anybody can choose to send a coin drop

of any cryptocurrency on the Ethereum or Tron blockchain to other users of

that group. They can choose how much of the currency they want to send, for

example 500 PLAT, they can choose how many drops they want that to be, which

means how many people can claim those coin drops, and they can choose whether

it's going to be a random or identical amount. So I can send a 500 PLAT Coin

Drop to the BitGuild GuildChat group, and the first people

that click on that coin drop will be able to receive cryptocurrency directly

into their wallets. Now this we think is super fun, and it's a great way to push

cryptocurrency adoption to new users. As long as somebody's in the chat group

they don't need to go and create a wallets if they claim the coin drop

those coins will be there in their wallet.

So we mentioned last time about a 5,000,000 Tron air drop event that we

were planning on doing - this is where we're going to do it over the next

several months we are going to take five million Tron tokens and we are going to

airdrop them into our BitGuild official chat channels. We're going to be giving

out the details very soon on the specifics for how we do this, but look

forward to it - 5 million Tron is going to be given out in the GuildChat app

and we hope that you claim your share. So how long are we gonna have to wait

before we can experience GuildChat you guys may be asking. Months? Years? is it

really gonna come out? Is it just an idea? The answer is that as of right now,

GuildChat is available in both the Apple App Store, as well as on Google Play. All you

have to do is open your App Store, type in GuildChat, and there it is -

Free for you to download, free for you to install the wallet and free for you to

start sending coin drops.

With this being blockchain when we do something as a

company, we do it with the community together. We appreciate your feedback and

we appreciate your support, and we'll see you in GuildChat.

SIMPLE TIPS FOR BETTER CONVERSATIONS | Speaking With Native English Speakers - Duration: 11:39.

hey what's up Stefanie the English coach here from EnglishFullTime.com

in this video I'm gonna give you some tips to help you have better

conversations with other people to help the conversations flow better and to

help you feel more in control when you're there talking with someone in

English because when you're speaking in English you might not feel that

confident right you might be feeling like oh my gosh they don't understand me

or they're listening to my accent or I sound awful or I'm making mistakes you

have all those thoughts going on in the back of your mind but then you are also

in the middle of a conversation and those thoughts are probably pretty

distracting so right off the bat the first thing that I want to say and this

wasn't even on my list it's just that when you're in a conversation with

someone else you really have to be focused right it is a moment in time

where they require 100% of your attention and you require 100% of their

attention for this exchange of ideas to happen well and naturally okay so

regardless of what you might be worrying about try and set that aside when you're

gonna have conversations with people in English and really focus on the other

person okay not yourself that in and of itself will help your conversations go

better but anyhow getting to the tips that I actually planned for this video

the first one is to just come prepared now in your native language you probably

don't really ever prepare for conversations unless it's a big

discussion like with your boss or if it's an interview or something like that

yeah maybe then you prepare but for a conversation in your native language

you're probably like I don't need help with that right I was the same way in

English I never had to prepare for any conversations and then I went to

Argentina I lived there for several years and I went from being this super

social outgoing I could talk to anybody kind of person to this total like

introvert like I couldn't even open my mouth even when I had

ideas even when I really wanted to say something and that was quite frustrating

so finally after dealing with that for years I realized you know what why don't

I just prepare for the conversations that I know are going to happen my

husband for example is from Argentina so every Sunday we would get together with

his family for lunch Saturday nights we would often get together with his family

Thursday afternoons we would get together you know I always knew that

these occasions were going to come up but I never prepared for them so then

when they would happen you know people would look at me and be like Stefanie

like talk share something and I'd just be like I don't know what to say okay so

I was able to totally overcome that issue just by preparing right when I

knew I was gonna go to dinner at my in-laws house I'd be like okay think

about the week Stefanie what was different this week what was interesting

what was good what was bad what can I bring to the table right because when

families get together to talk everybody just starts dishing it out they start

sharing how their week went what went well what bad and it's like so natural

right except when you're doing it in a foreign language you totally forget you

freeze and you don't know what to say so I would prepare I would think of what

I could share but then I would also think about the other people that would

be involved and I would think about their week you know I wonder what they

did this week oh I remember they had to go to that doctor's appointment I'm

gonna ask them how that went or oh I remember they were thinking about

getting a new car so I'm gonna ask like did they decide on a model right if

you're struggling with conversations and if you feel like a totally different

person in your native language and in English when it comes to conversations

you might be struggling with the same thing so I encourage you to prepare for

conversations that you're going to have they're gonna go so much better they're

going to be so much more dynamic you're going to enjoy yourself it's gonna feel

great and yeah let me know how it goes like try that okay prepare for the next

conversation you know you're going to have go over a few things in your head

and and then yeah come to the comments later let me know how it goes I really

want to hear about that okay the next thing you need are go to questions now

go to questions are questions that you go to in the event that a conversation

gets kind of awkward or weird or dry or boring or maybe you're talking to a

person you've never talked to before right you need to have these questions

where it's like you already know you can ask them so for example one of my go-to

questions for people I know is hey so what are you doing this weekend you know

what are your plans that is so easy it gets them talking it gives you time to

think and process your ideas that's just really easy if it's somebody that I

don't know my go-to questions are usually like where are you from where do

you live what do you do for a living there are some articles I've seen that

are I don't know there's like a debate going on about whether it's polite or

not to ask what people do I just ask anyways because I'm naturally curious

and I want to know like your work is such a huge part of who you are you

dedicate 40 hours or more a week to that I want to know what you dedicate your

time to because hey that might strike up a new conversation and I just find that

stuff really interesting I could talk to anybody about their work I love talking

about it that's another thing too when you can get people talking about the

things that they know and love that will help your conversations go so much

smoother just when you're struggling to communicate just put the pressure on the

next person you know like get them to talk by asking questions that leads us

right into the next thing I was gonna say to have better conversations you

have to practice active listening and asking questions okay so what is this

right now I am doing all the talking because I am literally in a room by

myself with the camera if I think about it too much that's a little bit awkward

but I know that later people are going to watch this video you're watching it

right now you're gonna listen etc this is a lecture basically I am lecturing

this is not a conversation in conversations you have to listen

actively to what the person is saying and then get ready to ask a question or

next tip to share a story right because I like to think of conversations like

this think about tennis right the ball goes back and forth and back and forth a

conversation should be 50/50 50% of the time you are talking 50% of the time the

other person is talking now sometimes that can be a little bit unbalanced like when

I'm talking with one of my mentors I don't

do as much talking because I'm sitting there to learn you know because that's

something I enjoy and this is a bit off-topic sometimes we find ourselves in

situations where we are with someone who just won't shut up like they just keep

talking and they will not stop and you're just like I want to ask a

question but this person won't shut their mouth yeah that's a hard one I will have

to make a different video about how to deal with people like that let me know

in the comments if that's something you'd like to see okay

but basically active listening right here's one of the biggest mistakes that

people make in conversations and communication they are listening not to

hear what the person has to say they are listening so that they can respond so

let's say you're telling me about your your latest vacation and I'm listening

and I cannot wait to cut you off and be like oh my gosh yeah I went on vacation

recently too I went to Miami it was awesome I did this I did that

that's not active listening active listening would be like wow that's

awesome I'm so glad you got to go on that vacation what you know what did you

guys do yeah I don't know like but basically asking them a question to go

deeper into the subject okay and believe it or not when you do that when you go

deeper into a subject with somebody else at some point they're gonna feel like

they're doing all the talking they might even say that they might say oh my gosh

I'm doing all the talking what about you like have you gone on any vacations

recently and then that's your opportunity to share what you want to

share right so it's just thinking about conversations strategically because even

if this is easy for you and your native language it might not be as easy for you

in English because yeah this is foreign language what we said in the beginning

of the video it's a struggle okay so I already mentioned sharing stories but

one thing I want to say about this is there's basically three things that

happen in conversations one you exchange information two you share stories and

three you ask questions literally that's it that's what a conversation is people

are exchanging information like oh did you know that the best place to you know

buy fresh vegetables is over here oh no I didn't know that you know that

blah blah blah blah blah right then they have a conversation about it they ask a

question and they share a story oh yeah because last week I bought my vegetables

over here and this happened and they were not fresh I don't know you guys I

am I am making this up okay I wanted to say something else but it was

inappropriate I'm pulling it out of my anyways so share your stories don't be

afraid to get personal with people it can be so easy and you know just say oh

yeah last week the same thing happened to me or you know when I was 5 years old

that you know I know exactly what you mean because that happened to me or yeah

whatever connect when you share a story you're connecting with other people and

it helps them to trust you it helps them to identify with you it helps them to

have a good time with you to like you okay the next thing to have better

conversations is just to speak up if you're anything like what I was like in

the beginning of my journey of learning Spanish I would I did not speak up you

know I would have things inside of me that I wanted to share and I just

wouldn't share them because I was like mm I don't know if I should what are

they gonna think and then the next tip this is all going to come together don't

overthink what you're going to say don't sit there and work out the sentence

grammatically before you open your mouth because conversations happen so fast and

what's gonna happen is by the time you finally put that sentence together in

your head just because you were overthinking yourself not because you

weren't capable of speaking it they everyone has already moved on they're

laughing now at a new topic and that lovely story you wanted to share that

anecdote that joke that punchline whatever that was it is lost forever and

you're never gonna get that opportunity again

okay so speak up do not be afraid do not overthink what you're going to say and

try to put the words together in your head literally open your mouth and I

promise the words will fall out anyhow I hope all of these tips were very helpful

let me know what you think of this video in the comments did you already know

this stuff already or not was it helpful do you think it's gonna help you

improve your conversations and you know beyond just thinking about whether it's

gonna help your conversations or not just apply these tips and then let me

know what the results were okay because you actually

won't know if it works unless you try it right okay so that's it you guys

thank you so much for watching and I just want to let you know if you are new

here I always include a free download in the description the one I'm including

today is a free guide on how to practice your English with native speakers no

matter where you live in the world just by using the Internet okay how to

improve your English okay so I'll link it in the description

Learn How To Spot GMO Fruits & Veggies With THIS Simple Trick! - Duration: 2:43.

Many of us enjoy eating fruit and vegetables year round.

We love ripe bananas, soft, sweet peaches, crisp apples and fresh tomatoes.

We often turn to these foods as a healthier alternative, without ever considering that

they might actually be detrimental to our health.

If you are someone who tries to be health conscious about your diet and lifestyle then

you should probably know just how harmful pesticides, growth accelerators, ripening

agents, and other chemicals can be for you.

Do you even know how common these chemicals are?

Take apples for example.

Over 90% of all apples bought in the grocery stores test positive for more than one pesticide.

Other fruits such as blueberries or peaches and green, leafy vegetables like kale and

lettuce are right behind apples on the list.

You may think that since fruits and vegetables are now considered bad for us, then you might

as well just choose a processed snack food, but the benefits of traditional, healthy options

still outweigh the dangers linked to processed foods.

In order to avoid all the chemicals, try to always buy organic produce.

Do not, however, neglect to wash it, because bacteria still lives in organic produce just

like any other kind.

There are a few telltale signs that will let you know whether or not the food you're

buying is organic or chemically enhanced.

Organic fruit and vegetables will never be uniform.

They will be different shapes, sizes, and colors.

Huge produce has most likely been grown using growth accelerators.

Watermelons, for example, will have cracks on their sides from where they grew too quickly.

If your produce tastes almost bland, chances are chemicals such as florchlorfenuron have

been used to stimulate the growth and have ended up draining the flavor.

Organic produce will also have a much stronger smell since they still contain all of their

oils.

So, when grocery shopping, look out for these signs, especially when it comes to foods like:

Potatoes, peaches,

cherry tomatoes, apples,

strawberries, snap peas,

nectarine, grapes.

And always wash, peel, and prepare your produce hygienically in order to benefit from all

of their amazing properties!

Simple Copy Writing Tips that Will INSTANTLY Increase Sales - Duration: 8:04.

alright guys now we're briefly gonna talk about simple easy copywriting tips

that if you listen to this video and you implement in your copy will literally

instantly improve your sales and here's why now we've been talking a lot but

really briefly about copywriting and you know email marketing funnels and doing

this in that and I've told you before that you know probably the copy that you

write is the most if not the one of the most you know important things that you

can implement in your emails that are really going to you know convey the

message and what you're selling to the customer they're gonna make the customer

more susceptible to your pitch they're gonna make them you know read through

your emails and potentially click the links that you send them so the copy is

really really important but I haven't talked enough about you know tips that

can improve your copy so today we're gonna do that and I'm literally gonna

run through an example and why it's important but I do want to touch on some

things to keep in mind before we do so so this is actually an example from my

email marketing funnel where I give away my free drop shipping course I believe

this is like the third of the fourth email in that actual funnel I thought it

was a decent example of you know good copy and here is why when you're writing

you know copy the first thing that you want to keep in mind is to keep it

simple I can't stress this enough keep it simple simpler the simpler the better

you know simple is so-so better simple cells as they say and the more

complicated something is whether that's a landing page or even your copy and

when I'm talking about copy if you don't know copy because a lot of people ask me

this question is simply copywriting is simply the art of selling in written

form so when you're writing your copy whether that's email or on your landing

page or wherever what-have-you you know you want to keep it simple always keep

it simple for the customer because that is what sells and also things that you

could that you want to keep in mind is obviously not to over complicate it but

you want to talk in the customers language and not yours now this is

crucial and the reason being is because the customer you might you might be an

expert in something and that's why you're giving an email funnel on it

that's why you're teaching a course on that that's why you have an email

marketing sequence around that you know a lot about that but the customer or the

person that's coming through your funnel or whatever you know if it doesn't

matter if you email marketing sequence this is

relatable across the board to any copy any form of copywriting they might not

necessarily be as you know informed about it as you and so you want to talk

in the customers language and not assume that they know everything about that

specific niche or specific topic like you do so always talk in the customers

language not yours and don't over complicate it simple like I said the

first thing is always better then always talk about what they want you know not

what about you know we don't talk about what you want or what you want to even

give them you know think what does my target customer want and then speak in a

language that's simple and say hey you know this is what you want and this is

how you get it you know you know why why does this benefit them and it's it's

literally that simple so just to recap keep it simple don't over complicate it

make sure to talk in their language don't assume that they are an expert in

this field as well talk simple talk beginner and talk in their language so

that they can understand what you're saying

and you know the message and really the the value that you're trying to convey

and then talk about what they want not what you want to give them or what you

want to talk about but what do they want and then speak to them in that language

so here's an example of this in you know my actual email sequence obviously the

title that catches their attention is the so you can imagine that these people

and if you guys want to go through this email marketing funnel where you want my

free drop shipping courses link up in the right-hand corner right now also

linked in the description below so the email the the title that gets that

catches their attention after their they've gone through the email marketing

sequence they've taken my my my drop shipping courses is the drop shipping

mistake to avoid now they're thinking okay what is the one drop shipping

mistake to avoid I hope I'm not making it and if I am I need to learn what it

is so that I can address it then the first thing that they see is are you

making this crucial drop shipping mistake another thing that you want to

keep in mind is you want to spark interest you want to get them thinking

you want to you know basically spark their imagination so that they're

putting themselves in your shoes and you're basically telling them a story

about what they should avoid and base subtly saying that you have the answer

so are you making this crucial dropshipping mistake and then I'd be

going to say what's the best way to grow your drop shipping business and now

typically speaking and this is not necessarily wrong but everybody's answer

and the person reading this answer is going to be get more customers obviously

more customers equals growing up a business whether your job for me or not

right so I say what's the best way to grow your job shipping business

most people's answer get more customers and then obviously they're gonna relate

to that and I think yeah that makes sense but then I go on to say are they

wrong in theory no in reality yes most people focus on how to increase their

sales or how to run more profitable ads and of course that helps but the best

way to grow your drop shipping business isn't to focus on on those one-off

customers it's actually to focus on building your back-end and so now you

spark their interest you're telling them that they're what they think is going to

actually grow their dropshipping store and drop shipping business is not what

they actually is not really what what actually will and so basically you're

subtly saying you're actually wrong about what you think's gonna grow your

drop shipping store and I actually have the answer and so this is what we're

getting into here we're talking simple we're talking about the mistake that

that faces them we're speaking in their language or keeping it simple we're not

getting we're not over complicating it and so you'll see simple copy here it's

spaced out so that they can read it and it's not in like a long paragraph that's

gonna lose their attention it's very very short and very simple so it's

actually to focus on building your back-end

improve customer service grow your store social media forge relationships with

customers and build your brand if you want to learn out how to about if you

want to learn more about how to improve your stores back in increase repeat

customers and build your brand click the link below

so all this copy is short simple with talks in their language and it basically

says hey this is a this is a problem that you have and I have the answer all

this copy is to basically get a link click on this below and basically what

I'm doing here is I'm actually just giving them value I'm not trying to

pitch or sell them anything in this email I'm building trust respect and

rapport and I'm getting them to click one getting them to click is gonna help

me in a lot of ways because it's gonna give them value which they're going to

be susceptible to my pitch in the future and number two its training them to

click the links that I'm sending them so that

I do eventually pitch them they're gonna click a link thinking that they're gonna

get value so it's doing a lot of different things in this and without you

know getting to two in depth with it a couple things I just wanted to relay to

you was not to overcomplicate it keep it simple make sure that you talk about you

know what they want not what you necessarily want to give them figure out

okay what do they want and this is how I can basically write my email copy or my

copy in general to talk about what it is that they want and then talk in their

language don't talk in yours and assume that they understand everything that you

do because everybody's not an expert you just might be you know the expert in

that field you know in their eyes so make sure you're talking in their

language and not yours so those are simple easy effective copywriting tips

that are basically going to increase your sales immediately I hope you like

them if you do please hit that like button it genuinely genuinely genuinely

helps the channel grow and I really really appreciate it it also lets me

know that you like copywriting videos like this so that I can make more in the

future and with that being said I'll see you guys in the next one

A Simple Favor - Movie Review - Duration: 7:57.

hi I'm David this is Joe and today we're reviewing a simple favor that's not what

that says okay that's close enough so a simple favor starring Anna Kendrick and

Blake Lively is about two moms who get together for

martinis ahead after other kids go to school and they form a friendship one

goes missing and now we need to find out why

where is she and whose fault is it so how was the acting in a civil favor

let's not talk to opera acting let's not talk about the acting but man those

outfits the acting in a simple favor is is good I think Anna Kendrick does the

same Anna Kendrick thing that she does where she is Anna Kendrick just usually

reliable I think she's I think she's underrated yeah I mean this is it's nice

to see her in a serious role and not just pitch perfect

yeah but she's her pitch bear-free oh really yeah she is she that's this point

yeah she is her Anna Kendrick self she is almost like Becca from pitch perfect

but just less attitude II kind of thing she plays more of the like perfect mom

in this movie so she still got hurt Anna Kendrick quirkiness but she she does

everything right like by today's standards you know like she cooks her

kids yeah she's woke she's the wealthiest in

this movie session cuts her kids you know the meals that are like gluten free

all that amount but like she just cooked really good meals she takes him to like

you know these after-school programs and all this stuff and she like he's

attempted it to her child she's a parent she's a parent and Blake Lively is

mocchi she's a parent but she's more like and do whatever the fuck you want

kind of thing and it's just kind of like the cool mom sort of and her and Anna

Kendrick had this like relationship where their friends they drink martinis

after the kids go to school and she's kind of showing her her life things look

pretty stable on her end to start off with she's got a husband and a huge

house you know she's filthy rich no and she's got a cool job but an attendant

doesn't really know what her job is she's a mysterious woman even her

husband doesn't know a lot about her he doesn't know like about her family life

or her past or anything he's like oh she's very mysterious very you know to

herself okay Anna Kendrick tries to take a picture of her and she's a letter yeah

okay so what John Rowe would you put this movie in is it a straight-up

mystery is that what we're gonna go with or yeah I guess would it be I guess like

suspense mystery maybe realer than thriller almost cuz I mean yeah it's

light-hearted it's not something I've seen this be compared to gone girl

yeah and it's way less serious than that movies look totally different to them

kind of yeah lady it's weird it's interesting this this movie has

like some dark humor in it yeah but they don't they don't ever commit to being

like oh we're a light-hearted you know movie and they don't also commit to

being serious drama in ways gone girl kind of did that

because there'd be like something's like that you could find funny in there yeah

like when the missing woman like she's out on the road in the motel and she

spits in that woman's drink right yeah that's such a character move but it's

kind of funny and there's like a little yeah they do have moments where they

want you to laugh like these are jokes okay

like actually going for yeah they're going for comedy and some points and

they're going to be a little more serious I think my problem with the

movie is just that you can't figure out this mystery with Anna Kendrick you're

kind of long for the ride okay but you do want to know who's responsible for

what happens something happens around like the end of the first act of this

movie that's kind of what springboards the rest of this you know film minor

minor spoiler it's in the trailer Blake Lively's character goes missing No

and so she's missing and you want to know like who's responsible is it Anna

Kendrick's character for some reason like is like you're thinking about it

you're like is there a screw loose and heard maybe

yeah like when they're written exactly or is it the husband you know like some

people might assume like or is it hurt is she you know going missing and she

didn't get kidnapped or something is she actually like a gone girl situation and

the entire time when you're guessing does it do a good job of building

tension from seam to seam like are you engaged without you know I was I was

engaged the whole time watching I don't feel the need to see it again but just

because I know how this all unfolds they do have new things to keep you

questioning her life since she is a mysterious figure you keep finding out

things about her past that you're like wow she's lived a pretty crazy life and

nobody knows about this and you're finding out with Anna Kendrick and a

Kendrick is really like set on finding out all of this stuff about her you know

but that's fine okay so were you satisfied with the ending yeah I think

the ending is a little predictable for me at least okay like they do try to

have a whole bunch of twists and turns that unravel at the end to kind of be

like oh this is how it's gonna end and then they're like no this is

how it's gonna end oh is it gonna end like this and you're just kind of like a

lot of pump fakes yes I think they throw a little too many at you to where I'm

like I thought it was this then I was like this Mel's like oh we're doing a

different situation oh is it just gonna end like this

oh yeah hmm actually they're all the killer uh whoa that's a whole nother but

okay so what would you rate a simple paper I would rate a simple favor I

would say a three point eight out of six hit him with the point eight I know I

wanted to give it a four six but I feel like I give everything no this is just

because I think that it's nothing I'm gonna remember after like a few months I

think like a month or two ago yeah a month or two are gonna is gonna go by

and I'm gonna not really remember this movie unless somebody mentions it have

you watched this movie I'm gonna go oh yeah yeah my system okay

like if it's on DVD or you know it comes out to rent like oh yeah you should

watch that movie it's definitely not like gone girl where like if somebody

has seen a like oh you haven't seen gone girl alright looks you know put on right

now we can watch this so not that kind of thing but and it might be unfair to

compare it right but you know but I mean that's that's what we do you know it's

the closest thing exactly kind of put to this I also don't think it's the kind of

movie though that you should like wanna skip if you are running out of things to

see in the theater go and see this movie I don't think you'll be disappointed

it's a good movie to just you know go and watch I think the actors do great

the story is good you can tell the writers you know they they they put

they're all you know in this you

Simple outdoor fireplace - Duration: 18:01.

Welcome to my channel and in today's video I would like to show you how to

make a very nice fireplace using only basic tools and scraps of

metal I have in my workshop

First step was to use an angle grinder and some abrasive discs to remove the

rust from a circular plate I already had. If you don't know how to cut a circular

plate please see the link in the video.

Well done - the rust is removed!

Next step is to make a wall to keep the wood on the plate. Again the rust and all paint

has to be removed. I've marked and cutted five pieces of plates to use

I have decided it would be better to join the plates in to a long piece which

I will weld to the circular plate

Welding the plates to the central piece is not that easy

since the steel is three millimeters thick. It's good to use the belt to

secure it in the welding position

The metal block helps to concentrate the force and therefore get a better fit -

it's a pity I didn't use this method since the beginning.

On the bottom side I will reduce the height of the walls. It will make the

fireplace look better. The legs are bought at a local metal store. These are

used for fences and so on. Really cheap

The hole in the center will prevent water from accumulating in the fireplace

It is possible to drill thick steel with a budget drill if you meet the three

requirements: lubrication in this case a graphite paste

low rotation speed of the drill and the drill bit has to be really sharp

After spray-painting we get this nice fireplace

I used a heat-resistant paint rated up to 600 degrees Celsius

After spending whole day on hard work it's nice to get some relax in front of fire.

Bye and see you next time!

Impresionante testing al Samsung Note 9, un simple smartphone? Definitivamente no ... - Duration: 8:46.

Good morning, we are from the company BitMinds Consultors

we specialize in mobile application development, and publish many apps to our clients

We use Android and iOS devices to perform our tests or presentations

we have decided to renew our devices buying a new Samsung Note 9

Well you will say that it is a normal cell phone, but after our test we are sure that it will radically change your perception

In this test we will not use the original Dex HDMI connector, but use a USB Type C compatible adapter with multi inputs ... Amazing! (sorry i later translate all spanish to english words)

Vue.js with Skygear: Building a simple login page - Duration: 9:35.

Hi! My name is David.

This is a tutorial video on how to build a backend to support user login

for your Vue.js application

For example you have built your Vue.js App frontend with simple login function like this

Like mine

You can read your user's username and password from the login form

Now, how can you really make the login function works?

By working, it means not only the layout

but you will need a backend to store and validate the user information

Typically we can use Node.js Python or Ruby on Rails to build an application server.

The server connects to a database that stores user credentials

so we can validate a user login by checking this authentication data

As a front-end developer, if you have ever tried to build an authentication system yourself

you may find that not only the main functionality matters

We also need to consider how to hash the password and store them in the database security

You also need to take care of how to send the credential data around client and server with proper encryption

Furthermore, for the sake of UX

you want to persist the login

You might have heard of cookies and sessions to persist the data

It's also important to encrypt the session data on the client side

to prevent potential leakage

Today we will use a free authentication backend Skygear

to support our Vue.js applications login function

Ok. Let's use the simple login form we've just built

All materials are open-sourced and you can find it on GitHub in the link below in the description

Skgear is an open-source backend for apps but they also provide a hosted solution for developers

The free plan is more than enough for this demo

So let's go to https://skygear.io

to register a free account

Fill in some information then you can start using your backend instantly

We register our app name as "myvuedemo"

We will be able to get an API endpoint and the API key in the information section

They are the keys to connect your app to your app backend

To make the API calls even easier

We can install the Skygear JS SDK

so we can call the sign up and login API easier

Now let's copy our API endpoint an API key to our application

so the app will connect to this API endpoint

Let's check if our settings is correct

You'll see "the container is ready for making API calls" in a console log if it is correct

Let's come back to our Vue.js application

There is a sign up form with username

and password input form

maybe you'll have the password confirmation as well

Then we can call the API provided from Skygear: signupWithUsername()

Pass in the username and password you've collected from the input

the username and password will be passed to Skygear

to check if there's existing user and if it is correct

In our case, we will handle this in the "onSubmit" function of the signup form

that fires when the user clicks the submit button on the sign up form

We'll use the "signupWithUsername()" function

but first we need to: import skygear from 'skygear'

Then, we can call the function "skygear.auth.signupWithUsername()"

Then we will pass in the suitable information that is "this.username" and "this.password"

Then it returns a promise then we can handle the success result

and the error result in the promise

Here we emit an event "sign-in" if the sign-in is successful

Now let's see the result in live!

Let's input a username and password

in our signup form

when you click on the signup button,

it will signs up a user in the Skygear system

we also printed out the auth user object when the sign up is successful

It also says: "Welcome David!" in the title

because we can always get the username from "skygear.auth.currentUser"

So this is how we signs in the user

Now let's talk about logging in the user

That is intuitive that login API looks really similar to sign up API

We are expected to throw in a username and password to the login API

and then it will help us to authenticate the user

All the process of hashing and storing password

and checking login correctness is done automatically

so we don't need to worry much

Similar to what we did in the signup function,

We will need to import the Skygear library first

and then we will call our API in the "onSubmit()" function of the sign in form

We will also emit a "sign-in" event here so that the page will change automatically

So let's see the result in live.

We now input the registered username and password and then click "Sign in"

Since the username and password match so we can log in as "david" in this system

The API does not only authenticate the correct user

but it also returns if there is any error

so we can handle it on the frontend

So let's catch some common errors on login

For example: invalid credentials or user not found

Let's try to login with a wrong password

When you click on the Sign in button

It will return an error, then we can handle this error with our own handling method

For example error message or pop-ups

As you have seen in the demo, I've logged out out for a few times

To achieve this, I proudly introduce you the API:

logout()

I'm sure you know how to use it

Just place it in where the sign out button press event is triggered

And then, that's how we can manage to implement

sign up, login and logout function

linked to your Vue.js frontend application with minimal effort

I'd also like to introduce you the "onUserChanged()" function as well

This is not an, really, API call but we can consider it as a listener

we can specify a handler so that when the user logs in or logs out

we can handle its change

In this example, we'll print out a message :

"user logged in or signed up" when he logs in

and when he signs out, we will print out:

"user logged out or the access token expired"

This is really useful if you want to do navigations

or fire some custom events in your application

If we want to sign up the user with email instead of username

we can just use "signupWithEmail()" instead of "signupWithUsername()" [Same as login]

We just need to do minimal updates for

the UI and the API call to achieve this

And one bonus option with Skygear

you can sign up and sign in your user with facebook login

with a simple Facebook login button as well

You can use an API called: "loginWithProvider()"

We won't talk about this in detail today

But I have posted the link in the description section below so you can learn how to do this

You can also view and manage your users in the backend dashboard as well

In this admin dashboard, you can do some advanced the function as well

For example, you can update the password of the user

or you can even ban the user

Alright. We went through how to make your sign up form works

you can also sign in and sign out your user in your Vue.js application now.

It works well for mini apps to big systems.

Again, all the resources and sample codes are in the links in the description (below)

You can always go check it out and use it in your own application

I really hope this tutorial helps

Next time I have taught more about how to

deploy your website to Skygear Hosting
