Hi there smart drivers. Rick with Smart Drive Test talking to you today about
how to buy a used vehicle. And when you think of going out and buying a vehicle
is this what you think of: [BUYING A CAR :: TRANSFORMERS] "Son, I'm a lot of things.
A liar's not one em'.
Especially not in front of my Mammy.
Yes! Getting swindled
at the sleazy car dealership. Well today we're going to talk to you about some tips
and techniques about getting the best car for your money. Stick around, we'll be
right back with that information.
[INTRO & UPBEAT MUSIC]
Hi there smart drivers. Welcome back. Rick with
Smart Drive Test talking to you today about buying a used vehicle - a secondhand
vehicle and how to get the best value for your money. And getting the car that
you want. Not settling for some car that you think is a good deal. So we're going to
give you some tips and techniques about how to do that and the first thing that
I want to say about buying a used vehicle or any vehicle: know that the
price is always negotiable. It's not the sticker price that's on the windshield.
Do not just pay that...actually barter and negotiate for a better price. So that's
we're going to talk about. Now if you're new to Smart Drive Test, Smart Drive Test
helps new drivers get a license, veteran drivers to remain crash free, and CDL
drivers to start a career as the truck or bus driver. So if you're new here,
consider subscribing. Hit that subscribe button just about there. [POINTING TO THE SUBSCRIBE BUTTON] As well, hit that
bell. That way you'll get instant notification when I get the videos up
for you. Now as I said, all prices are negotiable for cars. And you can
negotiate. And yes some of you are thinking, why don't I buy a new vehicle. I
know exactly what my car payment is going to be every month. I'm going to get a bumper to
bumper warranty that's going to be five years. And yes that is an option for some
of you if you can afford to purchase a new vehicle. But I'm going to say to you
that you're going to get a lot more vehicle for less money if you're willing to buy
a vehicle that's a couple of years old; maybe even four years old. Because
oftentimes when you buy a second-hand vehicle or a used vehicle, it's got good
tires on it. It's got - some times it'll come with a set of winter tires or it'll
come with a Thule (roof rack and cargo box) or other accessories for the vehicle. If you buy a brand new
vehicle, one of the most prominent things that you're going to pay money for off the
hop is, you're going to buy new tires twenty or thirty thousand
kilometres, fifteen or twenty thousand miles down the road because the tires
that they put on these new vehicles only last a short amount of time, and you're
going to have to put new tires. So you're going have to make an investment of
about a thousand dollars on a brand new car within a year of owning that vehicle,
which is very frustrating for a lot of people. So if you buy a vehicle that's a
couple-of-years old, four-years-old, you might even get some warranty left over
on the vehicle. As well, you're going to spend probably half of what you would
for a new car. So think about that in terms of purchasing a second-hand
vehicle. You're going to get a lot more vehicle for a lot less money. Now the first
time I bought a vehicle, a long time ago, a couple of decades ago, it was a 1971 half-ton GMC,
with three-in-the-tree (column shift) manual transmission, and an inline-six motor
under the hood. It had a top speed of 85 miles an hour, about 145 kilometers an
hour. And it was what we call in this day and age, a beater. And for some of you who
are young you just got your license this is unfortunately what you're gonna be
looking for. You're going to be looking for a beater that's gonna be a few hundred
dollars. And you know, try and get the best vehicle that you can. There are still
beaters out there, and you still can buy vehicles for less than a thousand
dollars. But it's not going to last you more than a couple of years. And it's not
going to be very much fun to drive. So know that in terms of your first vehicle.
And my second vehicle wasn't much better than that: it was a 1975 Honda Civic as
you can see here in the image. And it had a four-speed manual transmission in it and it only lasted
about a year before the timing belt went in it. And I sold it to a wrecker for
$50, which was kind of frustrating because I put a new
windshield in it and the windshield was $50, and they only gave me $50 for the
whole car when I got them to pull it off the side of the road. So these are some
of the experiences you're going to have when you're buying a car. now if you have
help from your parents or family or friends. That's going to be a lot easier for
you. Now the first thing you need to figure out is how much money do I have.
Okay how much money do I have? What kind of a car can I afford? So you're going to
need to do a little bit of research and go on the internet and figure out what cars
are available for the price range in which you're in. If you're in the less
than a thousand dollars, it's going to be probably a twenty-year-old vehicle. And
try and find something that's going to be reliable. And the internet
will give you that information. If you just type in the vehicle that you're
looking for. The place to get started is either eBay or the Auto Trader here in
North America. Those are going to be your two places to get started in terms of
finding out what vehicles are available, how much these are worth. As well, you can
do some research on the internet and find out the reliability of the cars. People
will give you reports of whether the car is reliable, it lasts a long time, certain
things go wrong after a while and those types of things. So Carfax, Blue Book
value, and Auto Trader, and eBay. Those are the places that you're going to need to go
to start doing your research on your vehicle to figure out what kind of
vehicle you can get and how much money you're going to spend on that vehicle. So
for some of you, buying a vehicle is not going to be your first vehicle. you're going to have
to buy a replacement vehicle. And some years ago, I had a friend of mine who
crashed her vehicle and the insurance company wrote it off. So we had to find
her a new vehicle. And interestingly enough, we had lent her our second vehicle to
drive around so that she had some transportation. And she came back some
time later--and she wasn't very good at buying vehicles and those types of
things--and she said she'd found a vehicle. So we went down to look at it. It was at
the Honda dealership there in Kelowna, BC, Canada. And it was a Toyota Corolla. It was beige-
on-beige. It had a beige interior and beige outside [LAUGHING]. And in my mind, they were asking
way too much for it. I think they wanted thirteen thousand five hundred dollars
for it, and I thought it was only worth about nine thousand dollars. First of all,
I knew that this was not the car that she wanted. She was embarrassed that she
got into a crash, she was embarrassed that she was driving our vehicle, and
wanted to give it back to us as soon as possible. So I said to her, I said listen
this is not the vehicle you want. We're going to offer them a low price. And so when
you go into a dealership, what they do is you go in with the salesperson
into his or her office. You make an offer. And then they get up and they go and
talk to the manager. And they come back to say yes or no. And so this all went down, the
salesperson is behind the desk and we said $9,000. The salesperson said, I'll have to
go and talk to my manager. So he left the room, and I said to my wife and my second
mom who was buying the car. And I said to her, he's not going to take it, so we're just
going to leave. So he came back. And of course he didn't take the deal. And we
just left. And I just said okay fine. So I asked her after:
what kind of car do you want? She said, well I want a blue car. That was it!
She just wanted a blue car. So I looked around on the internet for a reliable
car and I found a Honda Civic that wasn't too far away. It was in her price
range, and it was blue and it was an automatic transmission. It was a good car. So I went
down and it was at the dealership in Penticton, BC, Canada. I drove down there and had a
look at it. I went through the whole vehicle, did a pre-trip inspection. And
this is one of the other things you want to do, is do a pre-trip inspection on the
vehicle. And I'll put a card up in the corner here for you on the pre-trip
inspection and how to do that and make sure that everything's working, and make sure
it's been detailed properly. What had happened with the Honda Civic, the blue
Honda Civic that I had found, was that it had been owned by a single mom. She had a
couple of kids, and when they detailed the car at the dealership they hadn't
cleaned in behind the rear seats. So I was able to negotiate with the dealership
for a couple hundred dollars off the price because it hadn't been detailed.
Now a couple other points about going to dealerships. Know that there's going to
be additional costs in addition to the vehicle's price itself. They're going to
charge you for processing paperwork and those types of things. And in my
experience, that's about five hundred dollars at dealerships. So there are all
kind of bonus things that dealerships charge for. And you know, I try not to adhere to conspiracy, but it tends
to be a bit of conspiracy that they have all these administrative costs. So know
that those can be negotiated in terms of the price that you're going to pay for
the vehicle. At dealerships, you're going to deal with sales people, you're
going to deal with managers, you're going to deal with finance departments, and those
types of things. And one other point - some years ago I had a friend of mine--a
really close family friend. His wife had passed away, and as part of her passing
away, there was insurance money that came. And she was going to donate a portion of
this money to the summer camp that her kids went to. So he had asked the summer camp what they
needed. And they needed a truck. So he called me. I was in Kelowna at the time.
And he was looking at a truck there. And he asked me to go down and test drive the vehicle.
And I went down and test drove it. And it was an old Chevy with a flat deck on it. And
I said, no this really isn't what they need. So I started looking around
Kelowna for vehicles. And I found these pickup trucks that were just straight
cab pickup trucks, which is something that's really difficult to find. Today most
of them are going to be crew cabs and
there going to have another set of doors and seats
behind the driver's seat. And it was spring and and in the
picture it was wintertime. So I called and I said, do you still have these
vehicles. Well it turned out that they were Ford trucks at the Chrysler
dealership. And what had happened was that somehow the Chrysler dealership was
responsible for leasing to Telus, which is one of the big phone companies
here in Canada. And they said, yeah we still have a bunch of them. So I went
down and looked at them. And the salesperson was really good. He went out
and he picked the best one out for me. And you know, up until this juncture I
hadn't dealt a whole lot with domestic vehicles--you know Dodge, Ford and
Chevrolet--General Motors rather. I'd been dealing mostly with imports - Honda
and Toyota. And I went in, we took the truck for a drive. We decided
that yes, we're going to buy it. And we started negotiating the price. And I sort
of went $5,000 below price. They were asking twenty thousand. I said fifteen thousand. And
they were like yeah. They didn't even balk at the price. And when that happens, and you're
negotiating prices, you're thinking, "oh I should have started at ten thousand
instead of five thousand lower." So know that in terms of negotiation. And of
course, there was the the paperwork fee and those types of things. And they
agreed, and by the time we got done, I think it was about fourteen thousand, five hundred,
everything in for the vehicle. And it was a fairly decent vehicle that we got for
the summer camp. It was a leased vehicle and it was fairly good. So make sure that you do a
pre-trip inspection, you take the vehicle for a drive,. and drive it fairly
aggressively if you buy it from a dealership and those types of things. And
as well, when you do buy it from a dealership, know that once you pay the
price, it's very difficult to get anything else out of them once you have
finalized and actually paid them the money. now the final story that I'll tell
you is the buggy (1998 Honda CRV). I bought the buggy about four years ago.
And I bought it privately. And the person that I purchased it from - the seller that
I purchased it from wanted $4,500 originally. And it wasn't worth $4,500. I had
done my research on the internet. I'd driven the vehicle before because I had
another Honda CRV of a similar vintage previously. And I felt he wanted too
much money. So I only wanted to pay him about $3,500, but he had a set of winter
tires and what not with it. And I took it for a
drive. It was a good vehicle. it has been good vehicle for the last four years.
It's got three hundred and twenty five thousand kilometers - two hundred thousand
miles on it now. So it's been a good vehicle. But unfortunately, what had
happened was that he had smoked in it. And it still smelled of smoke, even though he
had tried to detail it. And you can get smoke smell out of cars if sellers have
smoked in the car. Use a lot of vinegar and get one of those aerosol bombs from
your local auto parts shop and let one of those off in there. And that'll get
rid of the smoke smell for you. So you need to do a bit of work. So if somebody
smoked in the vehicle, you can get a really good price on the vehicle because
they're going to have a hard time selling it. As well, my vehicle is a manual
transmission for those of you who have watched other videos. It was a
really good negotiating point (smoking). And after talking to him for a while and just
saying to him, no I don't want to pay this much for it. And we went over and
looked at the winter tires, and those types of things. And I said listen, I'm
going to have to put new tires on it because the tires--the all-season tires
on it--weren't very good. So finally in the end after negotiating, after
bartering and telling him that I was only going to pay thirty five hundred
dollars. And I paid him $3,500 cash. He accepted thirty
five hundred dollars cash because that's what I had in my pocket at the time. And that's
what I was willing to pay for the vehicle. So last point on terms of cash.
If you're going to a private seller, cash is going to work for you and it's going
to give you some leverage in terms of getting a better price on the vehicle. If
you go to a dealership, cash is not going to work for you. Don't let on to the
dealership that you're going to pay cash for the vehicle. Let on that you're going to
take financing, because dealerships get a kickback, they make money from the
financing. So know that. So don't let on that you're going to pay
cash for it. Let on that you're going to finance the vehicle if you go to a
dealership. And also, dealerships are going to have warranties and those types of
things that you could also consider in terms of purchasing a vehicle. So those
are a few ideas and tips and techniques that you can use in terms of
purchasing a vehicle. Do your research, figure out what kind of
vehicle you want. If you want a blue car, then buy a blue car, if you want an
orange car, buy an orange car. Because there are tons and tons of vehicles on
the market, And if you do a little bit of work you're going to be able to get the
vehicle that you want. And know this is going to be your second largest
purchase next to buying a house. So spend a bit of time and get the vehicle that
you want. And know that you're going to get more vehicle for probably half the
cost of what you would pay for a new one. So in this day-and-age, considering a
secondhand vehicle is really an option that you can consider in terms of
getting a vehicle that you really want and want to drive every day. And you know,
spend a considerable amount of time in. Question for my smart drivers: do you
have any tips or techniques for new drivers--smart drivers--who are looking to
purchase a vehicle and get the best value for their money. Leave a comment
down in the comment section there. All of that helps us out. I'm Rick with Smart
Drive Test. Thanks very much for watching. Good luck on your road test. And remember,
pick the best answer not necessarily the right answer. Have a great day.
Bye now.

How Much Input Daniel Bryan Has in WWE Storylines - Duration: 1:46.
Hi Friends welcome to C4E Wrestling News How Much Input Daniel Bryan Has in WWE Storylines
WWE is changing in a lot of ways They are pushing wrestlers that you wouldn't normally
think could be on the top of the card This could be largely thanks to current WWE Champion
Daniel Bryan Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that Daniel Bryan lost to Kofi
Kingston again on SmackDown Live It turns out that this was likely Daniel Bryan's
idea because he is looking for people to face which is also why he apparently pulled for
Mustafa Ali's push as well That's probably Daniel Bryan's idea I'm sure that he has
got a lot of what's the word I'm looking for?
He has got a lot of input about what's going on I mean Mustafa Ali's his guy essentially
So you know look he is looking to make contenders for himself I'll put it this way, he's
right on the border One more time and I'll think it's a cliche now it's three Maybe
it's one too many at this point WWE didn't book Kofi Kingston to beat Daniel Bryan clean
in a singles match this week on SmackDown It was in a six-man tag so that takes a bit
of the heat off of the loss Still Bryan is putting guys over because he wants to face
talented wrestlers Now it seems like he has the backstage pull to get that done Friends
what are your thought about this Have your say in the comments section below

How Much 💵 I Needed To Be An Au Pair | Tổng Chi Phí Đi Au Pair Của Mình | Anna Banana - Duration: 6:36.
Hello! Welcome to my channel, Anna Banana
In today's video, I am gonna share with you about the total costs that I spent to become an au pair in America
Let's get started.
Firstly, to become an au pair, I had to pass an entrance test at an service company.
And I did through Au Pair Vietnam (APVN)
I spent zero for this test because I did it in 2015 when they had a great deal for entrance tests.
And I got free for the test.
But you have to pay for the test now I guess. I don't know how much exactly, 500k/1 million /2 million dong depending on which country you apply for.
For me, I paid 0
Then I signed a contract with APVN
I had to pay 36 million dong ($1,560) for the company devided into two times.
After signing the contract, I paid them 8 mil for the first time to process my documents and join some au pair training courses.
So I spent 8 million dong.
Next, I had to pay for some paperworks such as passport (200k) and criminal record (200k)
I don't remember exactly how much I spent on them since I did almost 4 years ago.
Medical exam (500k)
What's else? Ah, biometric photo fee.
Those papers costed me around one million dong.
So, until this point I spent 9 million dong.
Next, after matching with a host family, I paid the rest of service fee for APVN (28 mil dong),
$160 for the visa
and $400 add-on airfare for Go Au Pair (the American agency - partner of APVN)
So I gave APVN over 41 million dong in total for the second time.
At this time, I spent 50 million dong.
After I got the visa, I needed some money to prepare for my trip.
I spent 20 million dong.
10 mil was exchanged to USD as I needed some cash to use in America
I got around $400
The rest was used to buy suitcases, presents, traditional dress, some medicines and farewell parties with friends
So the total cost for this smooth process was around 70 million dong.
And I paid 70 million dong for my au pair process, right?
HOWEVER, I even paid more than that because I applied for the au pair program one time in 2015
Then I got refused the visa 2 times in 2016.
After that, I stopped the contract with APVN and got back 4 million (of 8 million dong)
That's the price at that time. It may change now.
So I paid 4 million dong for the service,
$320 for 2 visa interviews
It's about 11 million
Additionally, I paid another 11 million dong for getting driver license.
So my first apply and driver license costed me 22 million dong
All in all, I spent over 90 million, 92 million dong ($4000)
Do you think it's a big or small amount?
Some of you may think it's not much to travel to the US, right?
Because there are many people paying over 100 million to 200 million ($8000-$9000) to go to Taiwan, Japan or Korea.
Therefore, they think 92 million is a small amount to go to America
But actually that amount is not small at all.
92 mil is a lot to an au pair
Do you know why?
Because I get only $200/week. I have to pay 10% of my stipend for income tax.
After tax, I get $180 weekly stipend.
WITHOUT spending any PENNY, it takes me about 6 months to get back my money
So this is a very big amount of money for me.
However, I am not complaining about that.
It's worth as I matched with a very nice host family.
It's expensive because of myself.
My profile was not going smoothly. I applied for the visa 3 times, so it costed more money.
For those who have a smooth apply, it will cost around 70 million dong
Or even less
It depends on what agency you are with.
Each agency has their own price.
I would advice you to choose a reliable agency or one that suits your budget.
I believe I get what I pay for.
Just consider your budget and ability to find the best agency for you.
And it's ideal if you can go directly with an agency in America.
You will save lots of money without an agency in Vietnam.
But you will have to do all the paperworks by yourself of course.
It's a bit complicated.
But you can do that if you are confident of your ability.
To be brief, the total cost I spent is just a reference if you wanna know.
It is not the same for all au pairs since au pairs are with different agencies.
Hopefully this video gives you useful information.
If you find it interesting, don't forget to like and subscribe my channel to get more videos about my au pair life in America.
Thank you for watching.
See you!

How I Made $313.10 Trading the Stock Market | January 2019 Profit Report - Duration: 6:43.
In this video, I'm gonna show you the trades
I did to make $313.10
trading the stock market.
Let's get started.
(upbeat music)
Alright, so January was actually one of those months
where I didn't do a lot of trading,
mainly because I was working a lot more in the business,
we had quite a few tech hiccups,
and so that took a lot of my time.
Then after that just really looking for trades,
there weren't that many that were meeting my criteria,
or that I wanted to get in, between that
and being distracted, I ended up getting in only one trade,
and it's actually one that is part of what I'm calling,
or not what I'm calling, but a challenge
that I'm a part of called the Grow Your Dough challenge
here on YouTube, a few financial YouTubers
have gotten together to see how much they
can grow their dough, this year in 2019,
so you can click the link here to learn more
about that and to see who all is involved
in that challenge, and to see how we all do this year.
But, so this trade was part of that,
because I did this trade in the account
that is designated for the Grow Your Dough challenge,
so let's take a look at it.
With the Grow Your Dough challenge,
I'm actually using the picks from my Cherry Pick list,
so this is one of the stocks that was
on my Cherry Pick list this year, excuse me, this month,
stock symbol ANSS, and so really quick,
on these when I do my profit reports every month,
I'm gonna designate the ones that are part
of the Grow Your Dough challenge with
the little money bag here, so everyone knows
which ones were part of that challenge
and which ones weren't, because I will be trading
differently since it is in a different account for that.
Okay, so, for this trade I did stock symbol ANSS,
I bought February 160 call options,
two contracts at three dollars and 60 cents,
I sold them at five dollars and 25 cents,
minus commissions netted me a $313.10
for 43.5% gain on my money.
So let's take a look at how this trade played out.
Again it was one of the Cherry Picks
from my Cherry Pick program, or service,
if you wanna check that out, I'll link it below,
but I alerted my Cherry Pick members
on November, or excuse me, not November, (laughs)
on January 11th, I'm looking at the 11
and thinking November, I alerted them on January 11th
that this stock looked like it was trending up,
had potential to go up in price,
and on January 17th, I purchased
the call options against that stock,
set my profit limit and my loss limit on it,
and it ended up selling the next day
at my profit limit of five dollars and 25 cents.
So it was a very quick trade, Cherry Picked
for 2018, they have 75% success rate,
which is really good, so I'm really excited
to be doing the Grow Your Dough challenge
on the Cherry Pick, to actually show
just how well that they can do, and
how well I can trade with them. (laughs)
So, that's how this trade worked out,
again it was alerted that the Friday of January 11th
got in that next week, and made my profit right away,
as you can see, like, if any Cherry Picks members
had hung on to this one for a while,
it's still headed up, they could have made
quite a bit of money, so about 154 is the price
that it was alerted at, and then right now it's at 175.
So that's a 20 dollar move that this stock has done
since the alert, which is flipping amazing, okay,
so definitely if you wanna check out Cherry Picks,
like I said I will link that below
so you can check out what that service is all about.
Alright, so there you have it.
I started the Grow Your Dough challenge
with a thousand dollars, and now
with my 313 dollars and 10 cent profit
from January, that brings me to a total
of 1,313 dollars and 10 cents.
So, we'll see how well I can grow this throughout February.
Be sure you check out some of the other people
who are participating in the Grow Your Dough challenge,
like David of Military to Millionaire,
who's flipping some items on eBay,
he goes to garage sales, buys items,
and then goes to eBay, and he flips those,
and he's doing pretty good, has me wanting to go
and clean out a few of my closets,
to see if I can make a little cash as well,
like I've got some shoes that I could definitely clean out,
and get rid of, and this is also a great way,
like if you're looking to make money
to put towards trading and investing,
the flipping that you'll see David talking about
and showing you what he's doing,
might be a great way to get started with that.
Also, check out Joseph Hogue over at Let's Talk Money.
Now don't let the bow tie fool you, (laughs)
Joseph is really crushing it over there
with his dividend portfolio, he's even seeing returns
so far this year, and we're in the beginning
of the year still, right, we're just a month,
month and a half in, but Joseph is seeing returns
of over 15% so far in his portfolio.
Now I'm really excited about following Joseph
on his part of the challenge, because I feel like
dividend stocks is an area where I'm not as knowledgeable,
and I can definitely learn a thing or two
about that, and Joseph is definitely sharing
how he's picking these, what he's thinking about,
like his whole thought process around those dividend stocks,
so I'm really excited about following him
to see what I can learn along the way
to help me with my long term investments as well.
Be sure to check those guys out,
let me know what your enjoying about them as well,
definitely leave them some comments and some love too,
and let me know how much you think I'll be able
to grow my dough too for February,
and let's see how well I do. (laughs)
Alright, catch you next time, bye.

How Much Amazon FBA Online Arbitrage Profit Can You Make in 1 Month - Duration: 11:50.
what's going on guys so today we're gonna go through another online
arbitrage expenses tutorial now I've done countless you know examples of me
sourcing products in the past if you guys want to check out me actually
sourcing and you know the process I go through to vet products and see if
they're profitable online that will drop the online arbitrage playlists down in
the description below and you can go through that there's probably a good 15
to 20 sourcing tutorials at least at least now you can go through that also I
will drop the rest of this playlist so if you want to go through January and
July and see what I made from January to July obviously we're in August and I'm
recapping 2018 for you guys you know the next won't be September obviously you
can check that out as well I go through it some of my bank account statements
and you know some of my credit card statements for the expenses and I show
you exactly the cost of the products that I went ahead and bought I stopped
doing that in about March because I was showing some bank account information
that I didn't want to do and honestly I don't feel like going through an editing
for an hour and literally making sure that none of my account numbers are
showing so today we're just gonna run through the numbers really fast I'm
gonna show you exactly what I made in the back end of the business model so
we're talking you know what an Amazon pay me out exactly what were expenses on
the business what were things that I actually expense then you know put money
down on on my business credit card and then exactly what the cost of goods were
and then more importantly what the net profit was and what I paid taxes on a
lot of people you know they don't they don't worry about this stuff and I hit
this home so many times in this playlist so if this is like your fifth time
watching a video on this playlist I apologize but it's very very important
and I genuinely mean that I made this mistake about two years ago and I don't
want it happen it to happen to you so the last thing that you want to do is
assume that we're the first thing we're gonna talk about here is you know I made
eleven thousand six hundred fifty one dollars and twenty one cents in August
of 2018 from to Amazon Payments because they pay you out in a two-week period so
half of those roughly I don't remember exactly what they were come you know in
two-week periods in August right but you don't I didn't actually make that
because I had my cost of goods I have my expenses and then I got you know I got
taxed on my net profit so we're gonna talk about all that here in a second if
you guys want this business template that you're looking at right here
you know this is actly what I used to use before I
started doing filing quarterly with my accountant this is exactly what I used
to use to keep track of everything it just you know basically Auto calculates
for you and makes your job easier if you want this I'll pop my email up on the
screen right now it's Brian with a why at BG media innovation comm just shoot
me an email ask for the template and I'll hook you up with it because I know
it can help a lot of you out and like I said it's not something to be taken
lightly you don't want to assume that you know you made eleven thousand and
not were eleven six whatever it was and not have any money to account for taxes
very very serious stuff but most people don't talk about that so I want to make
sure that I do now before we actually jump into the numbers here I do also
want to let you guys know I'm opening up ten more ten more that's right ten more
so uh there's been you know a couple of people been asking me you know for
coupon codes and I've been turning them away basically saying I'm not sure what
I'm gonna let more people in so just keep an eye out well I decided to let
ten more people in you know I feel like I can I can kind of handle the number of
people in the course and there are a good number of people moving forward and
seeing success now there are some people still lagging behind and you know kind
of so grasping the model and moving forward with it totally understandable
you know everybody moves at a different pace you know I get to say there's
probably good hundred people in the course or so and maybe eighty of them
have it fully down and maybe twenty or so are still kind of messaging me back
and forth on a day or every other day basis but you know that gives me plenty
of time to you know help everybody out so ten more ten more people in the
course I'll drop the code up on the screen right now when those ten are
claimed that's it I'm not sure when I'm gonna let more people in because like I
said I literally just did this like two weeks ago so it will probably be a while
from now but the first ten people to claim the code up on the screen right
now get into the course at 50% off so with that being said enough about that I
will stop promoting it let's get into the numbers because that's what you're
here for like we said to recap Amazon paid me
you'll see right here 11650 $1 and 21 cents in August of 2018 so what did I
actually expense what were certain things that I expense so this is
actually down a little bit from July I just looked back at the July numbers I
think they were like fifteen or sixteen thousand and then my net profit was
obvious I spent a little bit more something we're gonna talk about here in
a second but my net was actually a little bit more as well
so like I said 11,000 $651 21 cents now usually you don't spend on advertising
most of the time my only cost to the business my only expense outside of the
cost of goods is this 1:29 in commissions and fees which is like my
jungle Scout and some other little miscellaneous charges here and there
that I use on the business now typically I don't have any advertising charges I
look back I saw that and it was a little shady to me so I look back to see
exactly what I did in August and basically it looks like I spent a lot of
money on PPC just to kind of drive sales to products that weren't selling that is
not typical but when you're doing that many sales for you know half the year
practically you know January to July a little bit over half the year and you're
doing you know whether it's 5,000 sales whether it's 5,000 whether it's like 500
sales a week or you know a thousand sales a week whatever you're actually
pushing you're gonna end up I don't care how good at sourcing you are and how
good at finding profitable products you are you can have a 99% you know success
rate with your products and there can be profitable but you're gonna have some
that you know for just whatever reason you didn't source right and there are a
couple ways to handle that you can pull them out and return them for a refund if
it's you know been less than 30 days you can also you know basically give them
away and drop the price you know just to root you know get rid of them you can
also have file for Amazon to destroy them that works well - or what I was
basically doing to test to see if it was you know could be profitable which it
didn't look like it was when I actually recapped but I don't remember because
it's been a while since I've actually done this like I said August 2018 is
that basically I spent money on PPC to drive traffic to them and make sales so
I looks like I sold a majority of them for very very very low profit margins
and I think I actually lost some money on those but I was just basically trying
to get rid of them out of my inventory so I could go through and basically keep
better track of all the different stuff and I don't necessarily recommend that I
was just testing it out to see if it was viable so that's what the 220 or that's
what the to 2020 is sorry like I said 129 was basically jungle
scout and some other miscellaneous commissions and fees and stuff now
office expenses there aren't always office expenses I believe like one month
I spent like two grand or like 2,500 on this one one thing was like a laptop the
other thing was this desk that I'm talking to you on and the other thing
was a chair basically where I source all my products
so that's an office expense the other thing right here you know usually what I
recommend to my students in the course and to just anybody that's
cherry-picking out there and not actually gonna buy the course you know
totally fine whatever but you just want to make sure that you that there's so
many different things that you're not gonna be aware of so just go through and
do it and you'll learn as you go but usually what I recommend most people are
just used to reuse the boxes than Amazon sense to you you know you can reuse
those as shipping supplies reuse the stuff you like the packing stuff and the
packing peanuts and like the little bags that you know basically are you know
shock proof bags that they send you you can reuse all that stuff you basically
just need tape well I continued running out of boxes that were different sizes I
continued running out of tape and which is like your biggest expense outside of
you know your cost of goods usually and what if there are some other things that
I needed some other boxes and stuff like that so that's basically what this
eighty nine ninety one was I think I bought like fifty dollars worth of boxes
and different sizes and I also spent like 30 bucks on tape just to stock up
because obviously you want you know high quality tape so you want your boxes to
stay together if you're shipping like fifty items in at once you want to make
sure that box doesn't come undone so that's basically all that was so if you
look at the total expenses overall and ends up being four hundred thirty nine
dollars eleven cents which means my grand total my net income after all
these expenses was eleven thousand two hundred and ten dollars or two sorry
eleven thousand two hundred and twelve dollars and ten cents and that means
that if we deduct the cost of goods my total profit ends up being eleven
thousand two hundred twelve dollars and ten cents minus two thousand seven
hundred ninety five dollars and sixteen cents which is exactly what I spent cost
of goods wise and before we actually throw this into the calculator and I
show you exactly what I made and what I'll be taxed on a lot of people ask me
how do I keep track of the cost of goods it's very very very very simple so with
cost of goods I literally put them all on the same card I'll charge them all
into my business credit card usually sometimes I switch it between my
business credit card and my my business bank account like debit card 99.9
percent of the time they're charged Chaumont to my business credit card and
so what I do is I literally just look at the statement I look exactly what I
spent in August of 2018 on that credit card for that month boom
I know exactly my cost of goods and that's how I basically do it it's very
very easy I'm not like tallying things up I just look at the end balance you
know what I spent and I know that's how I know so let's figure this out let's do
the math eleven thousand two hundred and twelve dollars and ten cents minus the
cost of goods sold which is two thousand seven hundred ninety five dollars and
six teen cents that ends up being a grand total a net profit of eight
thousand four hundred and sixteen dollars and ninety-four cents but wait
but wait guys you didn't actually make that I didn't actually make eight
thousand four hundred sixteen dollars and ninety four cents this is not what I
took home guys what I'm trying to say is you have to pay taxes on this so a
conservative estimate and I've talked about countless times you know how to
set up a bank account that does this there are also other apps that basically
take out a certain percentage and you can set that up so that you can
basically save it and put into a savings account so you have money to account for
your taxes now this is for you know beginners that are just getting into it
I highly suggest that you talk to a CPA and that way you know you're talking to
a professional so they can tell you exactly what you need to pay at the end
of every month or the end of quarter at the end of every quarter I can't talk
today and that's basically what I suggest so if for the beginners out
there I recommend taking a conservative thirty percent now I know that that
could be high for a lot of people I'm gonna call it can also be low for some
people but that's a good rule of thumb because I would always recommend keeping
more into a savings account so if let's say hypothetically you're taxed 20 grand
at the end of the year you know you have 22 grand in there and then you get a
bonus payback of like two thousand dollars I don't recommend taking less so
putting twenty percent or something like that or fifteen percent and then having
a tax bill of 20 grand and only having fifteen grand at the end of the year
because how you gonna come up with that 15 grand to pay your tax bill so that's
why I always allocate a little bit more it's just the way that I like to do it
like I said this is not tax advice I'm just giving you my anecdotal example so
let's take a conservative 70 percent because we're allocating 30 percent for
taxes and that means that my take-home pay my take-home net profit what I
actually get to keep after that in August 2008 teen is five thousand eight
$191 and 86 cents roughly rounded up take the extra penny but that's
basically the take-home pay so I hope you guys like this video I hope you
grasp this concept I know that this is probably like the seventh or eighth
video it's good obviously the eighth since it's August Wow Brian but this is
a really important stuff so you have to understand you know your finances it's
important to understand you know the taxes what you're getting taxed on
because your tax this whole thing is for expenses but your taxes are your biggest
expensive you know in your business and in life in general so you need to keep
track of this stuff it's how you run a cash flow positive business and it's
probably one of the most important things that most people don't talk about
so I hope I hope I hope that I drilled this home hit that like button if you
appreciate it and I'll see in the next one

Inteletravel Cost | How Much Does It Cost To Start With Inteletravel? - Duration: 5:44.
Inteletravel Cost
what's up everybody and in today's video I want to answer some of the main
questions that people have when starting out in the travel industry and the one
of the main questions is how much does it cost to get started what are the
initial fees that I would incur getting started as well as monthly so you do not
want to miss this quick video we'll be right back
all right everybody welcome back welcome back so one of the biggest questions
that most people have when getting started as a travel agent and partnering
with a health travel agency is what are the startup fees now fees could be
different depends on what host agency that you join I'm just gonna go off the
host agency that we recommend and the one that we were partnered with and I
can share with you some of the fees for getting started so it's very very simple
okay so we are parting with a host robin agency that would give you the ability
the ability to become a certified travel agent okay there's no waiting soon as
you enroll you become a certified travel agent immediately and you can book
travel right away so you also have the ability to build a travel team so you
can not only become a travel agent but you can refer other people that's
interested in the travel agent business as well so you can build a travel agent
organization now to get started as a certified travel agent there's a Inteletravel Cost
one-time fee of one hundred and seventy $9.95 you pay that one time
okay now monthly fees the only monthly fee associated with that is $39.95
that's it okay that's never take care of your hosting for your website each month
all the marketing tools all the training everything you need your fingertips in
the back office okay everything you need to be a successful travel agent all the
resources tools training etc that 35 dollars 95 9 dollars a 95 cent will
cover there okay now you would make that money back from the one from the
Commission's that you booked traveling everything like that so you pretty much
to be running a in the in the clear green business with no overhead expenses
because you'll be making more commissions than your monthly expenses
so after you pay the one-time fee like I said one thing you'll be paying monthly
is $39.95 okay now if you want to also have the
ability to build a travertine we have a team builder side where you can sponsor
other agents that's interest the travel business and that's art and
that's an additional $19.95 so that's the one you pay that and you pay that
monthly $19.95 so you're looking at about if you do both sides of the
business a travel agent as well as a rep where you can bring in other travel
agents you're looking at approximately $59.95 so it's pretty much 60 bucks you
can run both sides of the business okay now the other side's optional you don't
have to build a travel team if you don't want to you can just be a travel agent
and spend about $40 a month just being a travel agent or if you want
like I said you want to start out as a travel agent upgrade later like I see it
some additional 20 bucks a month okay so you just pay the 20 bucks and upgrade
later you know and you pay the $20 a month in addition to the $39 so 60 bucks
a month so you have options options you can like I said you wanna just do the
travel agent side $40 a month with the one-time fee after 1/2 you paid a Inteletravel Cost
one-time fee $179.95 or you can do both sides of the business you can do both we
can pay the 179 plus the extra $20 and do both sides of the business and your
monthly overhead expenses would be roughly $60 a month so that's it there's
no other costs associated there's no money to register with suppliers
register with supplies are free you have your travel agency number once you
enroll with a host agency and you can plug that number in and get access to
all of those top major suppliers a huge database of suppliers so I hope this
makes sense I hope I said most of your questions if you have more questions to
leave a comment below we also have a frequently asked questions section that
you have access to if you are opted in below watch the free presentation to

When Rescuers Saw This Desperately Weak Tiger, They Couldn't Believe How Much He'd Suffered - Duration: 5:44.
When rescuers found this poor tiger, he was dangerously thin, covered in painful red rashes
and beginning to lose his sight.
But since he was transferred to a new home, he's learned to find joy in life again.
In fact, he's loving every moment.
So how did his story begin?
Well, in 2013 In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue in Wylie, Texas, took in 13 big cats, including
a tiger named Cincinnati.
In fact, Cincinnati arrived at the non-profit organization along with nine other tigers
and three cougars.
Sadly, all of the cats were in a sorry state.
Unfortunately, the cats had been living in terrible conditions at the Caruth C Byrd Wildlife
Foundation or CCBWF in Van, Texas.
Thankfully, though, CCBWF decided to get rid of its caged animals.
And, of course, that's how In-Sync Exotics came by this particular group of carnivores.
After all, In-Sync Exotics has been rescuing abused and neglected big cats since 2000.
In addition, its volunteers and staff work to help educate people on the realities of
owning and breeding exotic cats.
At present, the wildlife center's residents include tigers, lions, leopards and cheetahs.
So, when the 13 cats from Van arrived, they were in expert care.
And they needed it.
After all, most of them were severely undernourished.
At only 236 pounds, for example, Cincinnati weighed about 160 pounds less than he should
for a healthy tiger.
"When Cincinnati and the other cats arrived, most of them were uncertain [of their new
surroundings] and so starved that they were food aggressive," Angela Culver from In-Sync
Exotics said.
"Cincinnati was so underweight and starved that we had to throw individual meat balls
through the fence to keep him from eating too quickly."
Immediately, then, the team gave the group of cats medication to prevent them from getting
sick.
Moreover, at their old home, the animals had slept on solid concrete with no blankets and
no toys.
Therefore, life at the wildlife center was going to be a big adjustment for all them.
Thankfully, Cincinnati had family along with him at the wildlife center.
In fact, his mother Cypress was among the tigers from Van.
His siblings Jafar, Pepsi, Athena and Ukaidi also joined them at their new home.
Harrowingly, though, Cincinnati's stripy fur initially hung from his gaunt body, and
he was completely bald on his shoulders, back and tail.
In addition to all of that, he also suffered vitamin deficiencies that left him poor-sighted
in one eye.
Yet Cincinnati's character shined through, despite being clearly very weak.
For instance, after years of not being able to stretch his legs, this curious tiger finally
had chance to explore.
Indeed, Cincinatti walked – but could not run – around the sanctuary's playground.
"As soon as we let him out on the playground for the first time, he took off exploring
and playing," Culver said.
"The look in his eyes was like a child getting to play for the first time in his life.
It was sad that he had never been able to experience that before, but heartwarming to
see just how much he loved the feel of grass under his feet and having room to run."
However, despite this glimmer of hope, Cincinnati and the other cats had a long road of recovery
ahead of them.
Slowly but surely, though, the traumatized animals learned how to become proper felines
again.
Indeed, they tentatively explored their surroundings and learned to enjoy their new found freedom.
"Cincinnati seemed to find joy in every new discovery," a wildlife center spokesperson
wrote on Facebook.
"Rather than being nervous about grass, toys and pools like most of the tigers from
the Van, Texas, rescue…
Cincinnati seemed to think that each new thing was FANTASTIC!"
"He quickly claimed all the toys in the playground, running from one to another, as
if so excited to find each one," the post continued.
"He was the first one to discover how much fun splashing in a pool can be, and is also
extremely affectionate towards the staff and volunteers."
In fact, Cincinnati's lust for life soon made him a firm favorite at the wildlife center.
And, as his confidence grew, so did his health and wellbeing.
Yes, the beautiful feline is now 10 years old and is one fine specimen of a tiger.
Volunteer Christine Burrow has admitted that she has a special soft spot for Cincinnati.
In fact, she even loves it when Cincinnati splashes her as she fills his water tub.
"The story in his eyes tells you exactly what he's thinking," Burrow gushed.
Cincinnati's enthusiasm has also rubbed off on his fellow tigers.
For instance, although her bouncy roommate sometimes annoys 18-year-old Serena, she plays
some too.
"She was reluctant to explore her outdoor playground at first, but she eventually learned
that grass, sunshine, toys and pools are fun," the wildlife center posted on Facebook.
"Cincinnati is a total goofball and clown who loves showing off for anyone who will
watch," Culver said.
"He likes playing peek-a-boo when he's in the pool…
His distinctive markings around his eyes make him look like he's happy and always just
a little surprised, which is adorable."
Images of Cincinnati on social media show him chasing balls, rolling in the grass and
splashing around in the pool.
The mischievous soul is also partial to playing hide-and-go-seek, much to the annoyance of
poor Serena.
From these photos, then, it's clear to see that Cincinnati is a fun-loving character.
After all, animals like Cincinnati are born to roam.
So, finally, this tiger has found a happy home.
"We all just adore him and his obvious joy in life is wonderful to witness," his carers
at In-Sync Exotics said.

Editing Landscape Photography in Lightroom, how much is too much? - Duration: 14:42.
how much is too much is the question and this is also a very
interesting topic when it comes to landscape photography how much is too
much editing in Lightroom how much is too much post-processing in Photoshop we
will talk about this and I will share my thoughts while editing some landscape
photography in Lightroom of course so don't go anywhere stay here
welcome to my channel here we talk about photography and I make videos just just like
this one where I share my thoughts about editing landscape photography in
Lightroom so if you're here for the very first time it might be a great idea to
subscribe not sure what's going on with my hair today maybe time for haircut
look at this I am sure that if you are a photographer like me and you post your
images on different social media you have received this question how much did
you work on this image did you use Lightroom how much did you edit in
Lightroom how much did you change these colors how much did you do what did you
do I get very annoyed by those kind of questions because in my opinion it
doesn't really matter this is not the point how much is too much it's a very
personal question yes I don't think there is too much I don't think there is
a limit the limit is yourself the limit is your vision the limit is what you see
when I shoot my landscape photography and I have eventually a vision of what I
will do in Lightroom
this vision might change over time this vision might
change by the time I get back it doesn't really matter while editing
this photo the limit is what is compelling to my eyes to my vision
in the only thing that matters to me is that the result is pleasing my eyes yes I
do post images on social media and people will ask questions but in the end
I will only share an image that is compelling to me that is pleasing to my
eyes there is the result of my vision both while I take the shot and while I
edit that photo but then you might have the objection that there is people that
are using multiple photos sometimes of even different places to create a
composite image that does not exist that does not correspond to reality well you
know if that's what they like if that's what they envision why not
maybe personally I'm not a big fan of that kind of photography at the same
time I am guilty too because in my lady in red series I do some composite too
basically I take two shots one long exposure and one short exposure in order
to freeze the subject in that landscape the frame is the same the composition is
the same but that scene does not really exist and by the way since I mentioned
those photos let's see what I'm talking about
so it is up to you to decide what you like what you don't what you like for
your photography and what you like for other people photography and in the end
as usual the most important thing is just to create so rather than sitting at
the desk judging other people photos why don't
you just go out take photos for yourself create your own landscape embrace your
vision and bring it to life - talking about this I think we should move to
Lightroom and see how I edit my landscapes you will tell me how much is
too much here I am at my desk in front of Lightroom and I have this lady in red
series picture taken in Iceland in this beautiful place which is the Vestrahorn
headland I was lucky enough that nobody else was there and this is the beauty of
traveling alone this lady in red shot is different from most of the
others as a matter of fact this is only one shot I'm not actually merging two
images together and not using a long exposure f8 iso 100 one twentieth of a
second with my loyal 20 millimetres f 1.8 it's a cloudy day low clouds and in
my vision I see the lady in red which is harmless but fearless that is facing the
strength and the drama of nature so I want to create drama in the sky but
because I wanted to retain the details in the foreground I exposed my image all
the way to the right as you can see from my histogram and I will be able to
retrieve a lot of details from the sky I do want to create drama with this image
let's get started as usual xxxxxxxx really no Siri no leave me alone
as usual I will start from the aspect ratio in this case I'd like to
use this image for my thumbnail so let's see if the sixteen by nine crop will
work and I believe so I open the basic panel i changed the profile to Adobe
landscape which already brings some saturation in you can see and I already
have more details even in the upper part of the image I didn't use any ND filter
for this photo but at the same time I want to check my white balance so I go
and pick up a white neutral target and as you can see this does not work at all I
will try cloudy and I think I like cloudy better first thing first I want
to fix whites and blacks I hold down the shift key double click on whites and
double click on blacks and I already expanded a little bit my histogram to
the left this time I will decrease the exposure a little bit add a little bit
of contrast decrease the highlights by a lot I go all the way to minus 100
just a little bit of shadows, a touch of clarity I will work with the dehaze quite
a bit and you can see how the mood is changing already very quickly a little
bit of vibrance you will remember from my previous Lightroom tutorials the
vibrance is increasing the saturation to the more muted colors present in the
image while the saturation is actually increasing the saturation to every
single color I will give it a touch of saturation as well now let's go to the
tone curve and I will see if the medium automatic contrast will work for me I
think it does I'm not going to touch the hue saturation and luminance panel for
now I will go straight into the split toning details as you know Lightroom will apply
a little bit of sharpening right away but I will change the radius want a
smaller radius but I will increase the details I will hold the Alt key move the
masking slider to the right in order to see where the sharpening will affect
everything that is going to be white will be touched by the sharpening
whatever is black will not be touched that I don't want any sharpening in the
clouds and now I can increase the sharpening and I will be sure that will
only affect the areas that I care let's zoom in to see if that's too much you
can see that the edging here is creating some kind of weird artifacts and so
sometimes is the image that is telling you it's too much so move it back and I
think it's better my chromatic aberration and my profile Corrections
are happening at the moment of my import check out my previous videos to see how
that can be set and I will go to the effects panel because I want to add some
vignette into my shot and let's see with these quick general adjustments what kind of
results we have this is the before very flat this is the after before after now
let's add some local adjustments and the main thing I want to do is to increase
the drama in the sky so I will use a graduated filter I will double click on
effect in order to reset all the sliders I will hold the shift key and drag down
my filter from the top release let's decrease the highlights here let's
increase actually the contrast I want to decrease the blacks
I want to decrease the exposure maybe too much maybe not I will add some
dehaze and I want to decrease the saturation also I would like to remove
this filter from this part of the mountains that are becoming very very
dark here to the left and to the right and in order to do so I will I will
click on the bottom left corner in order to see which part of the images are
affected and then I will select the brush within the graduated filter and I
will click on erase in this way I can create a brush that will erase the
filter from the area that I don't want to be touched you can see that the red
is disappearing
and for the sake of the video I'm doing this in a very quick way because I want
this video to last forever at the same time if there are areas of the photo
that are not touched by the graduated filter like the clouds on the left and
the clouds on the right I can use a brush and instead of erasing I will
actually stay to the a brush and fill in those area that were not actually
touched by the graduated
okay this is that let's see how it looks before after before after
what do you think is this too much so in my opinion we should not put any limit to
creativity it sounds like a crazy contradiction in terms
I believe instead that we should follow our vision trust our taste please our
eyes without trying to please everybody else and it is also natural that over
time our way of seeing things will develop will change in my own experience
my way of seeing my way of editing in Lightroom changed a lot over time not
only because I learned new techniques but mainly because my tastes changed and
I think it's a good thing it means that we are still searching but I am curious
to know what do you think about this so don't be shy don't be lazy just a few
words in the comments below easy I appreciate that I hope you
enjoyed this video I hope you learnt something new and if you did I think he
should or could hit the like button maybe share the video with the wife husband
boyfriend friend thanks for watching and I will
see you in the next well wait a second actually I would like to know who is
watching until the very very end if you do just write in the comment I do now
thanks for watching and I will see you in the next video

Will These 'Sobering' Tattoos End This Friendship? 🤮| How Far Is Tattoo Far? | MTV - Duration: 6:24.
(dramatic music)
- Oh my bleep God.
This is on me.
Wow!
(upbeat instrumental music)
- [Over-voice] Be funny as hell.
- [Narrator] On this episode of
How Far is Tattoo Far?
Eddie, and his best friend Shavonna,
teach each other some painful lessons.
They both love to party,
but it's gotten Eddie into some serious trouble.
- He got arrested.
- Um, hm. - Oh.
- For what?
- Public intoxication.
And they literally cuffed me and walked me down--
- No, no, not walked, he sashayed.
It was amazing. - It was very like.
- Uh, take me, take me away.
(laughter)
Yes.
- Stop.
(laughter)
I really want Eddie to have a news flash.
I want him to learn how to control himself.
It's so different when you're drunk.
- [Narrator] Drinking has had it's consequences
for Shavonna too.
- What is Shavonna like when she's drunk?
- She literally turns into the party girl.
- Yes!
- She's workin'.
- I'd love to see if your're good at dancing
- I, I, I, I, I love climbin' up on a table, on the speaker.
- Yah, just be dramatic. - On the bar.
- The consequences of being such a party animal, is that,
sometimes you're not in control of everything
that you're doing.
When a bitch tattoo is to teach that girl
how to hold it down.
- [Narrator] It's time to see what these BFFs
have to say to each other.
- Let's get tattooing.
(upbeat instrumental music)
- Oh, bleep, it's huge.
- I bleep know bitch.
If I really hate this tattoo,
I will never be able to party with her again.
- [Narrator] Let's find out if their days
of partying together are behind them.
(Dramatic instrumental music)
- Say both of you hate your tattoos,
are you still gonna be friends after?
- We'll see. (groan)
- It's time.
(clap)
(Whooh!)
- [Female Interviewer] Let's go.
- Alrighty.
- Come on girl.
- Okay.
- [Female Interviewer} Stand right here.
Whooh.
Kevin!
- Bring your ass here.
- What up, what up?
- I feel like this tattoo is big as bleep.
Whoa, did you hate my legs that bad?
Like, how do you really feel?
It's off the cuff.
- Oh God.
- Oh.
- Oh my God.
- Dude, you're bleep.
I can't believe I actually did this (phew).
I can't really breathe.
The air is thin up here.
- [Kevin] Bye, Eddie.
- Shavonna, are you regretting this stuff?
- No regrets.
(dramatic instrumental music)
- Oh, my, bleep God.
(dramatic instrumental music)
- This is on me.
Wow!
- [Shavonna] You see what it says?
Just visiting.
- Just visiting, every bleep boy is just visiting,
bleep, Shavonna, what the bleep.
You know what?
I knew she was comin' with some heat.
So you get ready bitch.
- Oh, uh.
- It gets very, very, very, real.
- Can you explain this tattoo for us, Shavonna?
- Okay, Eddie, he likes to get a drunk.
He likes to argue with people.
Specifically, cops for some reason.
So, that's a reminder,
I need you to see that and not go there.
Another thing, he's a black man,
and he expresses himself
and his feminity to the 1,000th degree.
And there are people out here
who don't want to see him prosper, her prosper.
I'm about to cry thinkin' about it,
'cause it scares me.
Like, when he's out alone.
He comes back home belligerent and it's scary,
'cause it's like, anything coulda happened
when you were by yourself.
So, I wanted to get it together
when we go out and stuff, and just don't,
it's like damn, somebody's gonna punch him in his face.
What am I gonna do?
So,
that's what the tattoo is about.
It's like, just breathe.
- I know.
I promise.
(sobbing)
I love you regardless.
- [Shavanna] I love you more.
- Come here bleep.
Let me hug you. - Sorry.
I'm sorry.
- You may wanna just take that hug back and think.
- That was such a sweet moment.
- Time to switch.
- It's so hard.
- It's not over yet.
(dramatic instrumental music)
- Now, when she sees this tattoo,
She's gonna gag.
- [Female Interviewer] Eddie,
are you regretting now what you put Shovan?
- Not at all.
- I'm freakin' out, ugh.
- Alright, Melody, will you please join us?
- [Melody] This is your friend, right?
(shivering)
- I feel like I'm gonna throw up.
- I`s it really that bad?
- I feel sick.
(dramatic music)
Oh, oh my God.
(laughter)
- Your a bitch.
- Oh, my God.
Oh, we funnier than a mother bleep.
- Um, hm, we funny as hell.
- Yeah, this is hilarious.
(cough)
- [Shavanna] Um, hm, hm.
That's what this
(instrumental music)
I don't know how I'm gonna express.
What the bleep.
Hm, what's the deal with this Ed?
- Well usually, you can't hold your liquor.
I've seen you throw up and cover a whole kitchen with it.
Projectile throw up.
I had to clean up her throw up.
And then, what really scared me was movin' out last week.
And you fell on your chin.
- I split my chin open last week.
- Anything coulda happened to you Shan.
And what we will not be doin' is dying out on each other.
So, that's the littlest reminder.
- [Shavanna] No, not the littlest at all.
(instrumental music)
Ya'll put the same thing on each other one way or another.
- Like, she really did.
That's how ya know we really --
- That's what I'm sayin' it's my mistake.
Commastay, kid.
- [Shavanna] Yeah, and care about each other.
- As much as I hate this tattoo, I get it.
- Yeah, I get it, I get it, Ed.
I mean, that's love.
There's not being afraid to tell your best friend,
bitch, you ain't bleep, get it together.
- Try to stay away.
- Bye. - Bye.

Hello friends! with you Oleg Karnaukh and in this video I want to answer the question
how much is life on the island.
Someone says it is very cheap someone
says it is the opposite expensive. i am I want to show you different options for
any budget that you yourself take for yourself decide how you like
such a format. on the example of my beloved Koh Samui Thailand
we will understand how much it costs life on the island. I think it will be
interesting, and most importantly useful. so drove!
oh great man see who came to visit me
Russian village
Ta da da dam ta dam there is even a hammer
the most important one of the most important premises in any home
Nadia, go translate!
Behave as if we have not seen!)
the shortest way from home to office
Is Samui your home now? Yes
Two things conceptually affect the cost of living in Thailand: the first is the time you fly in
the second is the season if you arrive two or three weeks
then you will overpay. why? because, that landlords like housing and
transport interested in to take for a longer period and
long rent is cheaper and the second is the season. if you arrive
from late December to early March - be ready for prices
multiplied by 2 for all. so that you need to save: the first is to fly to
longer period. the second is to fly in no season. well, or at least 1 of 2
The local currency in Thailand is Thai baht simplistic propose to consider two to one
that is, multiply by 2 and get prices in rubles. in fact
there is about 2.1, but it is not so important.
to the hryvnia about 1 to 1. Again, if Want an exact course - google.
and see the exact course in real time
the first housing option let's consider on the example of our house
we rent it for 3 months. Well, let's Let's start with the living room: TV, sofa
very comfortable. where I have morning reading and thanksgiving rituals
here we have a large dining table. here small kitchen, refrigerator
guest bathroom
Here is a living room. we have two bedrooms the same.
This is how bedroom 1 looks like: yes locker, bed, here's a window and
bathroom in each bedroom This is how it looks
Well, everything is mirror, but let's look. So looks like bedroom number two. also a locker
bathroom, bed. we rent this house for three months for 40 thousand baht per month
and we still have utilities 3000 coming out total 43 thousand baht per month
such a house with a small pool but most importantly with very cool
Internet, which is important to me such a first option
in place. we came to Ilyukha
Now consider another option. housing
such a house
tuned yaris
Hi guys! How are you?
Who's there? It's me. Hello)
Behave as if we had not seen)
you will give us a tour of your home?
Let's go! this is our big hall.
furniture, shelves, everything, wi-fi, nothing interesting.
This is our bedroom
You can put another 1 bed. just moved a little bed so that the small one did not fall out of bed
next with us
one of the most important places in any home. of course)
Hello again. Shower. go ahead. kitchen.
The 14th of February
oops no flowers anywhere this is the level
this kitchen is the second most important room after previous
Here everything is simple they are interrelated) the tile is, there is a sink.
you can go outside from here. another bedroom with us. here I have arranged myself
workplace. worked-slept slept, worked. conveniently
no need to go far) just here air conditioning
the shortest way from home to office By the way, work-home, home-work.
what kind of life is this? let's go outside tell
What is first with the internet? What speed? speed of 20 megabits
speed to resources in Russia a little bit less. generally for work ok
all services that are used for work it works quite normal
zoom with video failures does not. all in order. so norms
tell people the money
renting this house costs 18 thousand baht per month
What is included, what is not included?
internet, electricity, water
18,000 baht house itself, 800 baht per month Internet, in around 100 or 150 baht
This is our gas stove. actually all 19 approximately 19 thousand baht in total
electricity is on, water is on we do not pay separately
19,000 baht all fire like this, 19 thousand baht, a huge two bedroom house.
such an option yes and by the way free bait from
neighbors. this is where the hosts live
here if you notice there palm trees with coconuts. just yesterday we are straight from here
ripped off two coconuts and gave a drink. here the mangosteen is still growing with us.
This is litchi. and masters come, tear and feed us
saving also on fruit comes out. we will talk about fruits later
while we continue view housing options
Good afternoon, sir.
Do you know where the staff is? Nadya, translate!
I speak Russian) any reception, the owners of these houses here?
Here is the next house, there are owners and you all for a long time are you shooting?
For a long time. how much is this? 12,000 baht
What format? Can I have a look?
here is the living room, yes, you? little truth living room, bedroom and kitchenette
fit and the sea is near
total: one bedroom here in these houses
12,000 baht per month all inclusive
Well, here is not far from the sea even very close
well here, it seems to me, everything is close to the sea 100 meters straight here Internet is not very, well, not very new
Internet issue - 300 baht per month unlimited, easily solved
but there will still be a 5 to return maximum not the speeds that i need
like this. that is, there are such houses seas at 12,000 baht go further
here next to the new house. one bedroom is 15 thousand per month. Here is a price tag
comment on the next option friends, not all can show
because everywhere is busy, everywhere people. and we can not show at home
here are six houses one bedroom
and three houses 2 bedrooms
Ilyukha, what do you think about this option? option - fire. 9,000 baht single
with 1 bedroom (here is such a house) and 12000 two-bedroom
This is generally a great option. this is from the previous place (where were the yellow houses)
across the road this is plus 100 meters from the sea
that is, the total distance of 200-250 meters
down the street is a great cafe here it is
near across the road there is a football field and a gym
the place is fire in general at home, in my opinion, in perfect order
brand new, good. Dogs are guarded. All clear
another option - these are houses
cost 18 thousand baht per month. separate electricity, internet average
Ilyukha, what do you think? Great option.
The houses are large, two-bedroom, quite new. air conditioners included
The location is also fire. previous location opposite
this penny, within a kilometer radius from this point
the place is very cool where everything is close all within walking distance.
and generally for the price it turns out
18. This is despite the fact that this is a different level.
the area is different. generally cool
with children and you can run
one more place
Russian village on Samui. there are 2 bedroom houses
35 thousand baht per month electricity separately, water separately
Internet is average. what's cool here of course the big pool!

everything looks beautiful. two bedrooms. all new
nice terrace that i like too. stepped on terrace, had breakfast. high
and territory. that's what's not in many resorts are territory
Here the territory is fire. Won kids rides a football
here arbors: one-two. in general, in terms of territory, there is fire. total 35
thousand baht + utilities and water
in general, if you want more comfort - option fire
summarize by rental housing
economy version - a small single Thai style house
will cost you from 9 to 15 thousand baht in month
the middle option is a two-bedroom house in European style from 20 to 45 thousand baht
premium from 80 to 200 thousand baht two-storey house with a pool and a large territory
vip from 200 thousand to two million baht - luxury villa with
swimming pool by the sea
when you need to wash - stand around
such washing machines throw 30 baht this is huge
amount of linen, clothes. wash, dry. all 30 baht
There is just an immense pelvis Yaroslav can be placed entirely
30 baht - 40 baht and how is it different?
it's just more in volume here you fall asleep powder, which
You can buy and wash in Seven-eleven. there is also a laundry service
when you bring linen and you wash it and iron
costs around 50 baht per kilogram that is, a little more expensive
but you do not iron and do not dry. they will do it for you
that is, household chores in Thailand is not relevant. because all this
solved very easily

secluded dinner on the beach. will cost from 4 to 20 thousand baht
oh great man see who came to visit me
just that, youtube impose, dog, advertisement
there are guys who come to the island and do not take transport
This is a big mistake. because absolutely no pleasure you get
if you have no transportation here. because walking is generally not an option
it is inconvenient and overall but it is not adequate
so bike or car definitely need to take for
make you feel here comfortable and we will show you now
how much is it
How much is this new PCX? 6000 baht per month
motorcycle 18,000 baht per month
the second is the same
here is bmw z4 you could already see this car on my channel
I rented it
It costs 10,000 baht per day, but there is a nuance. there is a nuance that is called
long term rental.
if you rent for a month, then the daily price can be safely divided in half.
we have a price for everything cars, even on bikes.
Now we will show by example what it costs
chevrolet cruze
will cost 16 thousand baht per month normal new chevrolet cruze
Ilyukha rides a tuned yaris let's get closer
This chevrolet will also be cost 15,000 per month. Ilyas Yaris also 15,000
and my nissan also costs 15,000 a month. that is, the average price
15,000 per month it will be cheaper already from cars something is not very good
there is a middle segment here there is a high, there is a premium segment
for example, new toyota fortuner
We look at the cost. 3000 she stands in day, total for a month we divide in half
it turns out 45. most likely 45-40 thousand it will cost a month
let's move on. in fact, the choice is very large. I take off this man
constantly, every year. old mercedes
toyota vios too 15 bmw x3. do you have x3 there?
how much let's look for the x3. 4000. total it turns out somewhere 50-60 thousand turns
50-60 can be bargained
Ta da da dam da dam there is even a hummer
hummer h3, which also costs 10,000 baht in day like Z4
accordingly, if in a month - divide the price by 2, or even by 2 with a small
in general there are cars for every taste, for every budget
from 15,000 to plus infinity
my bikes recommendation is honda pcx
here is this bike. because many people are removing clicks, such (here are two options)
but an amateur of course. i don't like click here is honda pcx
normal bike comfortable, with great the trunk. 300 baht per day or 4 500 per month
Excellent transport on the island is very convenient Here are the prices you can immediately pick something up
kawasaki, honda cbr 250 normal
let's summarize options for renting a vehicle
Economy option - this is a bike from three to six thousand baht per month
medium option
car c-class from 15 to 18 thousand baht
premium SUV 30-50 thousand baht per month
vip from 300 to million baht per month. This will be a luxury car level BMW i8
gasoline prices
91 - 28.84 baht; 95 - 29.11 baht
Family Mart and seven-eleven - the two most popular shop here and prices here
like these ones what can be clearly
show to make it clear?
water 12 baht, 9 baht, 18, 20, 23. 14 per one and a half.
What kind of water do you prefer?
Any
snickers costs 25 baht
can be guided by snickers
m & m's 25 baht, 35 fashionable
especially for lovers of proper nutrition put this stand
6 baht worth local nobility
so if that
do not worry. you will be saved. everything is there.
we came to the macro.
This is such a small wholesale store. local restaurants are bought here.
all local business is bought here
here wholesale prices
buy products for a week most it. we came for this
so well, here we are purchased at 2,300 baht a little more than 5 thousand rubles
Yogurt, milk, water, nuts, apples, eggs
this is big C
nice big supermarket
everything is like us, the difference no, prices are the same
if you want to save on a gym subscription - come to the supermarket more often
here, too, mango costs 170 baht, and on the market 60
we usually buy fruit on the market or in local shops
prices are low, everything is always fresh tasty, good. of course in Thailand
fruits should be packed in full for example, here is 80 baht - 1 kilo of mango
80 - mongustines, 30 - bananas, 30 - watermelons, 20 baht - 1 coconut
prices are very high, you can and you need to overeat fruit
and getting healthier every day
shopping totals
the most economical option is
Buying in local markets and shops
the middle ones are supermarkets: big C, makro
tesco lotus and shops and seven-eleven and family mart
premium supermarket tops market
and vip: shops in central festival
And of course, where without Thai massage in Thailand?
here are the prices: classic massage 300 baht / hour, oil massage 300 baht
average price 300 baht
you come, you pay 300 baht, you are massaged, you get high and healthy
let's summarize
a month on Samui for two will cost
in the economy segment
from twenty four to forty four thousand baht
average 59-104 thousand baht
premium 170-355 thousand baht
vip 825 thousand - 4 million two hundred ten thousand baht
in this way now you know that everyone can find
option that suits him.

However
Thomas Markle has been making money by stirring up controversy

The Thomas would retaliate in the only way he knows how by going to the media and spilling all the tea
This Markle family drama is like some sort of terrible tabloid gordian knot

Managing the much less fraught situation that

I'd also wager that
When she stepped out for a very public lunch with him recently in Notting Hill
She was sending a message to the Kensington Palace PR Mandarin
That she was about to
Start doing things her own way
Megan's father has obviously hurt her deeply
And she him put enough

Meghan markle's father Thomas in the fuss around giving the bride away
Nothing takes longer to die than an idea
For decades now
Feminist
Have been Quest
And criticizing the weird patriarchal Traditions have weddings in
While everyone is fairly United
Set the idea of a man giving away his daughter to another man
Is f***** up
It's still the dominant practice of any wedding I've ever been to
Even during the most feminist
Ceremonies
Where the Bridesmaids all gave speeches in war trousers
The bride was still serenely delivered to her new husband
Been by her smiling father
In cases where the dad isn't around
The bride is usually given away by someone else
A brother
Stepfather
And uncle
Hell even Joey walked Phoebe down the aisle
I've read a few pieces about women who went down the aisle solo
But I'm yet to actually meet one in real life
There's Something About This Old weird idea
That is baked into our DNA
It's that knee-jerk emotional reaction
I think
That is grip the media
So much when it comes to Meghan Markle and her father
Thomas who may not attend her wedding to Prince Harry on Saturday
RightNow Media attention around Marco
Has reached
Such a fever pitch that any information
From her fondest
Miss Peregrine to the sale of a Megan Bugg
Is news
So with so much 9 News around the place
The fact that Megan's father may not be attending the wedding is in nugget of real news
That is sending the Press Wild
Megan pleads with Dad
Screams the daily mail's front page
Well the somewhat less emotive son goes from neck dad won't go to wedding
Almost every front page appears dazzled by the news
Gaping at the horror of the Bride without her father
If the tradition of giving the bride Away really is so baked into our DNA why can't mothers give their daughters away
Which is upsetting
Particularly when you consider
Did the story is only happening
Because of the media's involvement
I'm so far
Speaking to the ever classy TMZ
Thomas admitted the photograph
But recently went viral most memorably
Okay I'm reading a book called images have written
Worst aged
According to him
After months of being hounded to and from work by the Papa Razzi
The Branded him disheveled in reclusive
He attempted to repair his Public Image
For the sake of his daughter's reputation
Accepting money from the pappa razzi age
To do so
This he now deeply regrets and
Shortly afterwards
Thomas Markle
Bird from a heart attack
He now says he will be abstaining from the wedding
Did not embarrass Meghan further
Obviously
It's completely possible
The Thomas Markle is lying and just wanted to make a quick Buck off
His daughter
It is equally possible
The best story is truly as heartbreaking as it sounds
Better man
Bamboozled by his child's Newfound status in the most famous royal family in the world
Attempted to help by accepting help from the wrong people
That is failed attempt came from a place of deep class shame
An urge to rewrite an image
That was decided on months ago
Again
Both of these things are possible
It's possible that Meghan Markle ask him not to come
Possible that a million other
Discussions are happening behind closed doors
Probable that we will never have the
The true answer
Of what is going on with Thomas Markle
But what is clear from the media is this
Let the pressure for a woman
To have her father present at our wedding is greater than the pressure of any dress
Any venue any ring
If you can't have your father
Then some significant male figure in your life
Should be on your arm a message
Multiple men volunteered
To take care of me
Surely I must be the most loved woman of all
And if you have someone who you love to give you away as it were
Then great
I know that
If I get married
I touch wood
Will be sincerely hoping
That my father will be able to walk me down the aisle
But I'm not naive enough to
To think that is something every woman should
Or even want to have and to carry on implying
That it's the most natural way
To get married is offencive and downright bizarre
But if the tradition of giving the bride Away really is so they can to our DNA
As the alarming headlines around Meghan markle's dad's
Suggest and if the idea truly is hard
The Killers it seems to be
Then why can't we amend it
Why can't mothers give their daughters away
Well not coming
It does occasionally happen
And would confront the fact
In most ceremonies
Mothers are given no role
No symbolic
No tradition of their own outside of the buying of the Hat
The 24-hour news cycle around Meghan and Harry's nuptials maybe grading
But there's no denying
That it's a wedding
That will serve as a time capsule for future historians on how we view tradition and ceremony in the 21st century
There's something refreshing about the idea that it's a wedding
That could change the status quo on a father's role

How much does food and beer cost at the 2019 Super Bowl? - Duration: 1:31.
Patriots and Rams fans paid a premium to get inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium for Super Bowl LIII on Sunday, but at least they won't be gouged at the concession stand this year
Atlanta is home to the cheapest NFL concessions in the league, and the prices haven't been raised for the Super Bowl
Fans looking to grab a bite at the game can get a hot dog for just $2, or a cheeseburger for $5
Kirby Lee/USA TODAY Sports Two years ago in Houston, fans in town for the Super Bowl paid more than triple that amount ($16
00) for a burger, and $8 for a hot dog. On the beverage side, a bottle of water at Super Bowl LIII is being sold for two bucks, while a 20-ounce "premium" draft beer is a reasonable $9
For fans opting for soda, refills are free until late in the fourth quarter. Kirby Lee/USA TODAY Sports Last year in Minnesota at Super Bowl LII, bottled water cost $6, and a domestic can of beer cost $13

How much will my Council Tax rise in April 2019? Search by postcode for your area - Duration: 11:07.
Families face an eye-watering average council tax hike of more than £70 in April, we can reveal
Our interactive search tool shows hard-pressed homes will be slapped with inflation-busting hikes to stop services tipping over the brink
Just two councils in England (Wigan and Thurrock) are planning to freeze council tax completely
And just one (Central Bedfordshire) is raising it by less than the 1.8% CPI inflation rate
But most are facing huge rises of up to 4.99% after years of Tory cuts - with Band D homes in the worst-hit areas slapped with a hike over £100
Our research suggests the average Band D bill is set to be around £1,744 for the year, a rise of £72, excluding smaller added rises for parish councils, district councils and firefighters
A big part of the hike comes from police as almost every force in England hikes its portion of the tax by £24 - a percentage rise of up to 22%
Tory ministers argue they are giving councils the flexibility to keep services running and police forces on the beat
But council chiefs today warn they will still have to make sweeping cutbacks to fund the bin collections, libraries, roadworks and care homes that are so important to us
And Labour say the rises shift the burden onto the backs of hard-pressed residents - that's you - after "nine years of cuts left councils on the brink of collapse
" So how much will YOUR council tax rise? Simply enter your postcode and Band (this should be on last year's bill) below to see your area's projected rise in April 2019
Scroll down for a fuller explanation of what the figures mean. What do our figures include? Your council tax is made up of several different sections called "precepts", which all rise at different rates
So we have concentrated on the rise in the two biggest precepts, your social care authority, and your police force (or if you're in London, the Greater London Authority)
Your social care authority (a County, Met Borough, London Borough or Unitary council) is by far the biggest portion of council tax, and can rise by up to 4
99% this year, depending on where you live. That rise includes up to 2.99% for general funds and, in some areas, a further 2% for social care
Town halls can only access this extra social care rise if they haven't already blown it in previous years
Your police force is a smaller portion of council tax but is going up by a much larger percentage
Almost every Band D home in the country is having an extra £24 bolted onto its bill to pay for police from April 2019
What do our figures NOT include? Our projected bill does not include the rise in the precept for parish councils, smaller district councils and fire authorities
It includes those precepts at last year's rates, without the rise expected in April
However, these precepts are comparatively smaller - so the rise to all of them is usually less than £10-15 put together
Our figures also only apply to the council system in England, not Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland
If you live in a new build home, it might show an invalid postcode because it is too new for our database
And finally, in some cases they show recommended rises, not the final rates agreed by councillors at their full Budget meeting
Sometimes these final meetings can slash hikes in council tax due to a backlash
However, this kind of last-minute climbdown is relatively rare. Our figures were sourced from finance reports to Cabinet/Executive, Full Council meetings and Police and Crime Panels
Are you a council/police officer and believe we have out-of-date figures for your area? E-mail dan(DOT)bloom(AT)mirror
co.uk with the subject line 'Council Tax'. My council's information isn't all here
Why not? At the time of publication (22 February 2019), we were unable to obtain some councils' full data
These councils are: Dorset County Council: The council is merging with five of its own district councils into a combined authority from April 1
Council tax is therefore changing via a much more complicated formula that we could not incorporate into our search tool
Bournemouth and Poole: These councils are also merging, together with Christchurch, into a combined authority from April 1
We could not display their council tax change in our search tool for the same reason
Isles of Scilly: The council tax rise was not available before publication, but will be agreed on March 5
Plymouth: The proposed rate is being put forward at the final meeting on February 26
Redcar and Cleveland: Despite the rate being agreed on February 14, we were unable to find a record of it on the council's website
We have contacted the council for further information. When we manage to obtain figures for these councils our search tool will be updated
What is my Council Tax Band? Houses are 'banded' from Band A to Band H depending on how valuable they are, and a formula is then applied to the Band D rate to determine how much you pay
Apart from in our searchable widget, our figures almost always refer to a 'Band D' home because that's the one in the middle
In theory it's the average home, though in some areas - poorer parts of the north of England for example, and in Northumbria - the majority of homes are actually in Band A
So some councils contest the idea that a Band D home is 'average', because actually most people are in the cheapest bracket
. Why is council tax going up so much for police? Our research shows every police force in the country was set to use the full maximum hike of £24, except West Mercia (£20) and North Yorkshire (£23)
That means they are imposing inflation-busting rises to their portion of council tax of up to 22%
The steepest percentage rise is by Northumbria Police, whose precept is currently just £110 - but will rise 22% to £134 for a Band D home
And West Midlands Police is imposing a hike of 19%, raising the police precept for a Band D home from £124
Northumbria Police and Crime Commissioner Dame Vera Baird defended her area's 24% hike - which came after 71% of residents agreed to pay more for police in a phone survey
The force's Chief Constable Winton Keenen said: "Tough decisions have had to be taken to make ends meet, residents have said they want to keep officers in the heart of our communities and this decision will help us to do that
"The next 12 months won't be easy, but the right decisions will be taken to protect our communities
" And why is it going up so much generally? Councils are in crisis and need more cash after years of Tory cuts
A survey by the Local Government Information Unit (LGiU) found eight in 10 councils believe the current funding system is "unsustainable", with more than half, 53%, planning to dip into their reserves
More than a quarter, 29%, said they were planning to cut spending on adult social care
And 24% expected reductions in children's care services, 16% in special education and disability support, and 11% in support for the homeless
Labour say Tory ministers are shifting the burden of raising funds onto local ratepayers - while starving them of central government funds
Shadow Local Government Secretary Andrew Gwynne said: "With Council budgets cut by an extra 36% this year, residents have been forced to pick up the slack through even steeper council tax bills
"Tory Austerity has meant cuts to community services such as libraries, parks and leisure centres; increases in council tax; and more fees and charges attached to the council services that were once provided publicly and available to all
"Nine years of Government cuts have pushed local services into crisis and left councils on the brink of collapse
" Cllr Richard Watts, Chair of the Local Government Association's Resources Board, said: "Between 2010 and 2020, councils will have lost almost 60p out of every £1 the Government had provided for services
"Faced with a government funding settlement that assumes maximum council tax rises and such funding pressures, many councils feel they have little choice but to ask residents to pay more council tax again this year to help them try and protect their local services
"With councils facing a funding gap of more than £3 billion this year, council tax rises will not prevent the need for continued cutbacks to local services
" What does the Tory government say? Local Government Secretary James Brokenshire said: "This year's settlement paves the way for a fairer, more self-sufficient and resilient future for local government
That is why local authorities will have more control over the money they raise and a real terms increase in their core spending power
"The settlement also recognises the pressures councils face in meeting growing demand for services and rewards their impressive efforts to drive efficiencies and rebuild our economy
