Shinjuku Mad (1970) - Movie Review - Duration: 5:10.
Hello Internet!
I am Torstein from Cinema Terror and today I have a weird little Japanese film from 1970
to talk about.
It could be looked at as a prototype for the vigilante movies that took off in the 70's
with movies such as Death Wish.
The movie I am talking about, which I guess you already know from the title of this video,
Shinjuku Mad.
The story here takes place in the big city of Tokyo.
A young man is brutally murdered by a gang and his girlfriend is raped right next to
him.
A few weeks later, the father of the young man arrives in the big city, pestering the
police officers to get an answer as to why this tragic event took place.
The police are not able, or willing to give him any answers and as he cannot let this
tragedy go without consequences, he takes up the task himself of roaming through the
streets to find the ones responsible for
the death of his son.
Shinjuku Mad is trying to do and say a lot of things in its short running time of only
65 minutes.
A big applause for movies that do not stretch out the running time with filler by the way.
The father that we follow seems to represent the honest hard working man and the decency
of society.
The youngsters on the other hand represent the hippie culture.
They are young, dressing wild like bikers with Beatles hair styles and either a joint
or guitar in their hands.
They have no empathy towards their fellow man, they rebel against society without having
a true cause and there are some Charles Manson vibes present here.
And I am sure I am missing out on important bits of the political commentary here as I
do not know all that much of how things were in Japan at that time.
To me, the way they hammered in the commentary in this film made it seem a bit too preachy
for my enjoyment, especially since I don't really agree with the parts of the commentary
that I understood.
I don't believe that the hippie movement was just rebelling against the system, smoke marijuana
and be violent.
Many of the dialogue scenes also feel like the actors are speaking directly to the audience
as it's not fluent conversations, judging by the english subtitles mind you, and most
of it comes from the father talking out loud to himself and that is not doing a good job
in hiding that the dialogue is really for the audience watching.
It felt like the director, Kôji Wakamatsu or the screenwriter Masao Adachi identified
a lot with this unnamed hero of the movie and that they wanted to tell this story from
a personal perspective.
Both of them were in their mid-30's while making the film and both of them worked on
so many movies per year at this point that I am sure they could get away with something
more personal from time to time.
Unless all of their films have their personal touches or thoughts in them, I dunno.
Wakamatsu has over 100 credits as a director, an insane amount and he kept on working all
the way up until 2012 when he sadly passed away.
He was apparantly a big figure in the pinku movement, which are basically a label that
Japanese movies that deal with sex and violence gets stucked with, making it a sort of category
of Japanese exploitation films.
I must admit, that even though he has such a large library of movies out there, this
is the first one of his that I have seen.
And when it comes to nudity, Shinjuku Mad does have some of it, but it is never there
to be eyecandy as it is only present when something dark is happening or discussed.
The film starts out in color, but transforms to black and white after the murder of the
young man.
Interesting choice of style for sure, and I guess I understand that it is supposed to
represent the bleakness and hopelessness that the father goes through after losing his son.
The movie also has a very jazzy feel to it due to the music.
It's there in nearly all of the scene and does give the film a bit of an unique vibe.
Shinjuku Mad is a short and interesting little film.
I wouldn't say that it is a hidden classic or anything like that, but it does offer something
different from what I have at least been watching, and for that I did appreciate it.
I do believe that you would have to have an interest for Japanese cinema to appreciate
it, and if you are a big fan you might enjoy this even more than what I did.
Shinjuku Mad gets the respectable score of 3 out of 5.
Have you seen or heard about Shinjuku Mad or director Kôji Wakamatsu?
I'd be very interested in hearing about recommendations as he has such a long filmography that it
is hard to know where to start.
And where does this film rank amongst his other films?
Let me know about it in the comment section below.
Pressing the like button let's me know that more reviews of movies such as this is wanted.
Thank you for watching Cinema Terror.

Metro 2033 Redux Review - Radioactive Russia, Remastered - Duration: 5:55.
Welcome to another Aluvian Gaming game review.
Today we traverse the tunnels in Metro 2033 Redux.
Metro 2033 originally came out in 2010, Redux is a remaster released 4 years later.
It was developed by 4A Games, the same people who made the original and the sequel Metro:
Last Light.
They not only upgraded the visuals by porting the game to the sequel's engine, but they
also added features from Last Light and changed up the game play in some of the sections.
I never played the non-redux version, and since this is the superior one, I don't
see any reason to.
The Metro universe is based on a book series by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky and the
game primarily takes place in the Metro tunnels under Moscow in a world, 20 years post nuclear
war, although occasionally, you do spend some time on the surface.
What you're seeing is the game's intro, uncut.
It's gorgeous.
Hard to believe this game originally came out in 2010.
The biggest thing that jumps out right away is how well designed not only the environments
are, but also the direction and camera angles.
It has a very cinematic feel to it and immediately pulls you in.
And it needs to, as Metro 2033 is a very narrative driven first person shooter and its linear
game play and drab aesthetic, would come off as uninteresting otherwise.
You play as Artyom, a young survivor entrusted to seek help for his besieged station.
Although the overarching story isn't overly complex, it is told well and isn't without
its detours.
Although not speaking during gameplay, Artyom provides narration during the loading screens
and further details his thoughts on what's currently happening though notes that are
scattered about the levels.
The game has two modes, Survival and Spartan.
Survival features limited resources, increased difficulty and is described as "the original
survival horror experience", while Spartan is faster and more action oriented.
I played on Survival to be true to the original game, and I feel it's more of how it should
be played, but having the option is a great feature.
Though for the most part, I didn't really have any issues with running out of supplies
until very late in the game.
Those supplies consist mainly of ammunition for the various guns, grenades, med supplies,
filters for your gas mask, and military-grade bullets which are used as a form of currency.
The guns themselves are just fantastic.
Don't expect some top of the line plasma-slinger, everything has a used, sometimes cobbled together
feel.
I mean, there is the standard Kalash and revolver, but some weapons are pneumatic, requiring
you to pump them up to maintain pressure in the tank, the pressure indicator is on a gage
on the model itself.
There's even a revolving shotgun made from bicycle parts.
But they didn't just stop there, the game also features a customization system where,
for example, you can choose to add a long barrel and stock to a revolver to make a rifle,
or put a suppressor on that automatic shotgun you found, for extra sneakiness.
Along with this ability to modify weapons to suit your play style, through much of the
game, you can actually approach your task your way as well.
You can take out destructible light sources and sneak around, silently eliminating obstacles,
avoid them all together, or just go loud and take on all comers.
There's plenty of tools at your disposal, regardless of play style.
This is a game of small details that stand out.
When you collect Artyom's notes, you audibly hear pen on paper.
The gas mask is especially well implemented: If you take damage while wearing it, the screen
can crack and impair vision, requiring you to find a replacement.
If you shoot an enemy at extreme close range, you end up splashing blood on the visor.
You can either wipe it off, or wait for it to run down on its own.
They even included water and ice effects that actually interact with the lighting.
Filters only work for a certain amount of time, and you have to manually switch to a new
one once they're spent.
Doing so is a fast, but immersive reminder of the harsh realities of your surroundings.
Something bog standard like the flashlight, an item very necessary while traversing the
Metro, is handled in a thoughtful way.
As the battery starts to deplete, it will begin to dim.
When it gets low, you actually have to pull out a hand charger and manually pump it back up.
Even environments are full of these details, you may see a fire being used for light and
warmth, but it's placed under a vent leading up, presumably to allow the smoke to go to
the surface and not build up in the tunnels.
Again, little details that really bring everything together.
But no game is perfect, and Metro 2033 is no exception.
Voices were sometimes hard to hear or decipher, and there were no audio options besides master
and music volume.
Minor things like occasional typos in Artyom's notes or a vendor shouting that he sold filters
when he actually did not.
The melee attack was hardly functional and practically useless due to its pathetic range
and pitiful damage, it also had no effect on objects you might think would be breakable,
at least, not until one of the last levels where it's actually required to break down
barriers.
It's just odd that they chose to wait so long to actually make it useful, and then
after that point it was then easily forgotten again.
But my biggest issue, was the rail shooter level.
You find yourself stuck in a turret mounted to a rail car, forced to shoot enemies as
the vehicle moves, completely out of your control.
The car stops several times and you're to defend yourself against waves of enemies,
before they blow the car up, and you with it.
This would all be fine, even if it does have little in common with the previously established
gameplay, if you weren't forced to do the entire section with your night-vision goggles on.
The goggles, as you'd expect, get extremely bright when near light sources, and unavoidably,
there ends up being giant fires between you, and the enemies you're tasked with eliminating.
So all of that to say, you're essentially blind, shooting at targets you cannot see,
due to goggles you cannot remove, stuck in a car you cannot control.
After much frustration, many deaths and just dumb luck, I was finally able to make it past
it, but I definitely don't want to try the level again.
Ultimately, Metro 2033 Redux is a game of details that accumulate into something pretty great.
It succeeded in telling a gritty story, but also set the stage for more stories to come.
It's got a few problems, but most are pretty minor.
It's interesting; it's immersive, and overall, just well done.
I give Metro 2033 Redux, an 8 out of 10.
Aside from the 1 level, I had a good time and I'm genuinely excited to get started
on Metro: Last Light, look for a review on THAT, in the coming weeks.
But until then, keep your filter fresh.

Zhiyun Smooth 4 Phone Gimbal Review & Test Footage - Duration: 15:11.
follow me this direction but if you hold down this button here it's a fast follow
– it whips right around hey guys welcome back to my channel today we're
gonna be reviewing the Zhiyun Smooth 4 it's a phone gimbal works with all kinds
of different phones and it's pretty awesome it's pretty awesome so I can't
wait to show you guys its features and kind of just walk you through how it
works so let's do it alright so this is the Zhiyun Smooth 4 these are all the
buttons and dials that you get on the stock there's also two more on the back
here that I'll show you just a bit but this is a scroll wheel as well as
buttons and this is also a zoom dial so that's pretty cool as well you also have
two different functions here with this little switch you have the pan follow
basically a tilt lock and then you have an all lock so yeah that's basically
what you get on the stock here really convenient this turns your flashlight on
or flash for photo if you're doing that which is super cool there's nothing
really that I don't like about this it's all so convenient and through the app it
makes it all seamless and it's super easy to do so here on the back are the
buttons that have the different follow modes so follow mode is basically when
you're looking around the camera will follow wherever you're looking and so
this the top button is a fast follow mode that basically you could whip it
around and it will follow exactly how fast you're whipping your gimbal around
but the bottom one is more of a smooth follow where when you hold it down and
it will smooth kind of glide around where you're pointing the camera so two
different speeds of follow I think that's really cool different gimbals
that i've used don't have a lot of the functions that this has which is really
cool I love to see gimbal manufacturers kind of pushing the boundaries and kind
of just pushing the edge so let me just fire up the Zhiyun gimbal the app really
quick here's the camera app here so as you can see I can flip it around with
just the touch of a button and I'm pushing this button right here on the
gimbal so you push that and then it flips the camera around so that's super
easy you can also just push record and it starts recording on your
camera and then of course you can also use just using the scroll wheel here it
controls the zoom so cool so cool and and also I'll show you guys before but
you can actually do it just with one hand as well so that makes it super
convenient especially if you're just filming with one hand and you're
carrying something else with the other hand it's just so cool and just using
the Menu button it pulls up the menu and you can scroll between all the menu
options here you can also do some quick commands so if I push menu one more time
it takes you out back to the camera but if I push this button right but if I
push this button right here at the very top it will change between the different
video resolutions and frame rates and so my camera does do the 4k at 30 frames
per second so that's what I always keep it on it does the 1080p as well but I
just like shooting a 4k I'm a video professional so I'm kind of picky about
that but yeah so anyway very refined software there's nothing bad I can say
about it it is the most convenient software I've ever used
so great job Zhiyun and so of course there's some other functions as well
like the just take a photo if you want to take a photo oh I'm on the yeah so I
was on on timer but now I'm not so if I just push the picture button take a
bunch of pictures that I get to delete later you can also see all your other
settings there and let's go to the menu one more time so you can actually change
a lot of different things at the settings menu video quality down to grid
camera mode and then you can also name your gimbal – that kind of stuff so
anyway really cool really cool gimbal and in my opinion one of the best
gimbals made really and it's for a phone so
that's convenient and and for a lot of just average consumers who want stable
video for their camera phone and whatever
really cool gimbal so oh by the way flashlight so if you're shooting at
night you can just push the middle button it turns on the flashlight so
cool so cool all right so that's the Zhiyun Smooth for that's just some of the
basic functions and now you can kind of get a feel of how it works what it has
and and what it can do so let's take it outside I want to get some footage for
you guys kind of just a day-to-day how you would use this so let's take it
outside and give it a good test all right so I'm on the Zhiyun Smooth 4
and let's before we begin I'm just gonna do a one-take kind of a day in the life
of me just so you can see how this gimbal works how it operates but before we
get into that let's just take a second and kind of think why we'd be actually
getting a gimbal in the first place at all usually when you're holding the
camera it's kind of shaky it's not all that great I know there's internal
stabilization and stuff on phones and stuff now but even so it's still shaky
and it kind of it just is kind of wobbly and so why you would get a Zhiyun Smooth
4 or a gimbal like the Moza Mini-Mi is to take that vibration and
that little wobble out of it and really allow yourself to be immersed in the
video that you're taking that being said I'm just gonna do a day in the life kind
of just a one take I kind of just walk you through my life and if and if at any
point the video like the videography that I'm doing with the Zhiyun Smooth
4 is distracting well that would probably be a consideration that you'll
probably want to take you know when you're purchasing a gimbal like this one
so and to make this a little bit more realistic I'm gonna do this one-handed
I'm gonna have my coffee here with me at all times so let's do this alright so
this is my backyard I kind of I've been in here for a few months but it's still
definitely a huge work in progress so we've been reseeding a lot of stuff we
actually just built this patio as well so yeah super cool I got some fire
starter we're gonna probably make some schmoes or something tonight so that's
gonna be awesome but I just built this patio
and we just put in the sod got some grass going in here we actually seeded
this myself so we kind of tilled this area up and then seeded it and the grass
is growing and it's looking really good so this is our freshest grass right here
as you can see and yeah I just watered the trees as well we actually have a
system that if I water that one tree over there all the rest of the trees get
water as well so yeah man and this is my next project is a huge project to my
property is a duplex and so it came with like a super sketchy guesthouse and I
just have some stuff in here like a dishwasher for myself and whatnot also
my motorcycle frame so this CX500 that I'm gonna be painting soon and yeah I've
been ripping a lot of stuff out on this place recently including tile so but
yeah I just took out they had like a bathroom in here so they had the shower
pan they had a toilet in there that I already took out and you can see some of
the plumbing that they have in here yeah so that's cool man this is my next
project gonna be fixing it up making an actual guest house the fence line was
actually moved back so the garage was no longer useful but anyway so coming over
here showed you the trees showed you the yard oh another cool thing about the
Zhiyun Smooth 4 is it has two buttons so right now I'm holding down the bottom
button and it's really smooth you can see the transitions from going up and
down is really smooth but they also have like a intense videoing button so I'll
hold that one down and you can see it's a heck of a lot faster to go wherever
you want to go so if you if you're filming something up here and then
something happens really fast on the ground you got it but if you do the the
other button it's just a lot smoother to get to where you're going wait I can
zoom in on this too yes so the Zhiyun so I have to go through
this gate and I have to untie that rope so I can't do that with two hands
actually you know what I'm just gonna zoom you back out here I'm just gonna
set this bad boy down because it's got feet on it so give me one second here
all right and we're back this is Ghost he is a husky he's very adorable
let me put this gate back where it was yeah I haven't been trying to walk
smooth or anything as you can see it's a very very smooth gimbal and coming from
the Moza mini-me man this is an improvement oh but you know what I
forgot to do is do it facing this way you might actually be wondering what
it's like to do the front-facing camera with this gimbal so let me just do a
little bit of what we kind of already did I'll kind of just explain it so all
right so here's the yard just seeded that the yards come in a nice and green
there are two different types of green though the fescue grass which is right
there the sod that we laid it's a slightly different shade of green then
then back there but not a big deal and once you start mowing it and it kind of
blends in together it's it's gonna be the exact same so
alright so now we're in the sketchy guest house a note about the Zhiyun Smooth
4 is man it is convenient to use like it's super easy to frame your shot I
wonder if the second button works yeah so feel like hey what's up welcome to
the guest house everybody it will do that just fine see you like talking and
stuff you're at an event something happens over there but you want to be in
it you're just like whoa guys guys click on this link
dang smooth gimbal man I'm really impressed by it let's go back inside
all right so we're back inside something I forgot to mention in the footage you
just saw was is it heavy is it light do you have to set it down every 10 minutes
or can I hold it for a couple hours and be fine I would say it's it's not bad
it's probably an overall of three pounds or so and so if you're at an
event or something and you need to like film for an hour and a half to two hours
or something and you just want to have some fun with it you can hold it for a
couple hours and it won't be a big deal you won't really even notice you have a
gimbal but of course after that and as time goes on anything you're carrying is
going to become a weight to you but again it's not a big deal I mean it's
not that heavy they clearly designed this thing with
materials that are lighter and kind of had the longevity of use in mind when
they designed it so overall the things I love about this gimbal is just the
convenience of everything literally you can control the whole camera from the
stock of the gimbal like there's buttons that does flipping of the reverse and
and front-facing cameras there's the record button right on the front there
there's a menu you can change camera settings using the dial on the front and
you can even zoom with the dial on the side so that's crazy and you can even do
it with one hand too when you're holding it you can just zoom and and not zoom
however much you want just with one hand another thing I freakin love about this
gimbal is the fast follow button and just the smooth follow button on the
back and if you're not pushing either those buttons it's just a pan follow so
it doesn't tilt up and down it doesn't go up and down it just follows this way
so if you're carrying it here you can see that it the camera stays level but
it will follow me this direction but if you hold down this button here it's a
fast follow – it whips right around so if you're filming something here and then
you hear a noise or something back there you just whip it right around just like
that then the lower button is the smooth
follow and so it definitely does take a little bit more time to get where you're
going but it's just for vloggers it's for vlogging and just kind of
documenting stuff keeps the video really smooth but again if you want that fast
follow it just whips a ride around super cool and another thing I love about the
Zhiyun gimbals especially is that it has the advanced function that you can
actually tilt it how you want and the motors doesn't fight you it's actually
in the software that you can position it however you want with your hand and then
it'll stay there so really cool and overall just a super refined gimbal I
honestly have no complaints it's really really good for the price and I know I
have a different video about this but between this gimbal and the Moza
Mini Mi I would definitely pay the 20 extra dollars for this one it just has
so much more and it's so much more refined than the Moza Mini-Mi if you're
on the fence between this one and the Mini-Mi the Mini-Mi is $100 this one is
currently $120 you might as well just get this one because it's a heck of a
lot better and I don't say that because I'm biased it's literally just a better
gimbal so just pay the extra $20 if you're on the fence and you're watching
these review videos to get an idea of if you want to get this one or the Mini-Mi
just get this one it's overall just a far better gimbal and you won't be
disappointed you won't be disappointed there were things on the Mini-Mi there
was like I was compromising with it this one there's no compromise at all
it's absolutely smooth and it's great so alright well that does it for
this video if you do want to check this gimbal
out I'll put it in the description I'll also put a link to the Mini-Mi in the
description as well check them both out do your research see which one is right
for you but I would recommend just getting this one it's just better but
that's who's my opinion check them both out get whichever one you want
I'll also stick the my video comparing the two in the description as well right
underneath those links and if you have any questions or comments feel free to
leave them down below I'm always responding and replying to
you guys so if you have any questions just let me know
get back to as soon as I can so alright guys thanks for watching I'll see you

Mandy takes place somewhere near the Shadow Mountains in 1983 and follows Red Miller
a logger who hunts down a religious sect after they slaughtered
the love of his life Mandy this film is not for everybody but
if you want to see something different have an open mind and allow yourself to
be pulled in completely then you are in for a very intense film experience
Mandy has a lot of psychedelic moments which just add to the effect of this
already very visceral film and there is quite a bit of blood but I was happy to
find out that it's not as much as I expected I'm not really a huge gore fan
without purpose and I've seen far more disturbing films than this if you're
concerned about that at all there's just a little bit of humor which is very
welcome to ease the tension of this very intense film and it's put in at very
appropriate times the director Panos Cosmatos knew exactly what he wanted
this film to be I would say that even though this is more of an arthouse film
with a relatively modest budget it is very accessible as the story is pretty
simple and fairly straightforward to follow this is my design of the director
Panos Cosmatos to which I give a lot of credit after seeing so many Hollywood
films that are just trying to cram so much in which usually ends up being a
convoluted mess mandy was very refreshing to watch so far I've only
seen Mandy once but I do think there is some underlying themes and even a little
bit of social commentary which is mainly told through the visuals we're not going
to get into that right now because this is a non-spoiler review but if you'd
like to discuss this further in a future spoiler review video let me know in the
comments down below let's talk about the characters in Mandy Nicolas Cage gives
one of his best performances he's such a fantastic
and dynamic actor and he really let's loose in Mandy I couldn't help but draw a
parallel between Nicolas Cage's first feature film role as a lead in 1983's
Valley Girl where he plays the hopeless romantic boyfriend and Randy in the
valley of California now 35 years later he placed the loving boyfriend red in
the Shadow Mountains of California which is set in 1983 though these characters
are vastly different as red undergoes a horrific transformation in Mandy Andrea
Riseborough as Mandy Bloom is also fantastic her character is set up really
well and you really feel for her Linus Roache also gives an amazing performance
so soft-spoken off screen but completely convincing and unhinged as cult leader
Jeremiah Sand he's the personification of the worst aspects of the male ego in
this film I thought it was kind of fun to see Bill Duke who oddly enough was in
the original Predator and he serves his purpose well as Red's friend Caruthers
let's talk about the visuals of Mandy this is a major component of the film
the film is very psychedelic and some of the imagery reminded me of your arouse
key the cinematography is absolutely gorgeous even though this film is shot
digitally it has a very analog feel as the film is heavily processed in post to
give it an 80s look the lighting setups are complemented by brilliant color
grading throughout the entire film which is radiant and just makes this film feel
alive there are some of the most beautiful title cards I have seen
introducing different characters and places there's even some animation
sequences which are mixed into the film that are reminiscent of the Heavy Metal
film from the 80s which coincidentally was originally a French magazine created
by the late Jean Giraud also known as Moebius who was a frequent collaborator
with your two röszke one scene that seemed a bit bizarre when I saw the
trailer was a Nicholas Cage forging this axe for his hunt but when you see the
film it makes sense as it is quite fantastical and he is actually a logger
so there's a lot of things like that which give this film its own flavor
overall the visuals are stunning and make for an immersive experience the
music by the late Johan Johannsson is a major component to this film it is
perfectly synced to what we're seeing on screen and it creates so much atmosphere
and tension I'm a big fan of his work on and off screen and he's done the scores
of Arrival and Sicario but I feel like in Mandy he was really allowed to let
loose this looks to be his last score which he was preparing for Mandy's
premiere at Sundance in January before his unfortunate death in February
Mandy is easily one of the best films I've seen this year I could see this
becoming a cult classic my only minor criticism is that the story is seemingly
simple but I may have missed a few things as the first initial viewing was
just so intense I will be going to see Mandy again so my great might change but
for now I'm gonna give Mandy four and a half out of five stars I would highly
recommend going to see Mandy while it's still in theaters to get the full effect
of the visual sound and music what did you think of Mandy leave your thoughts
and perspectives in the comments down below so we could have a discussion and

Pat McGrath Mothership V Palette Swatches, Review and Shade ($125 for What?!) - Duration: 9:22.
New York Fashion Week Spring Summer 2019 has finally come to a close.
I was lucky enough to sit in on Anna Sui's runway show and I found that what I loved
most about the show was actually the models' makeup.
There were quite a few models who had this like toned down, but holographic kind of pairing
like there was like holographic cheek stuff going on, and holographic stuff on the eyes,
which it's not like brand new, but for some reason, I felt like it was like so well done,
and it was only until after that I found out that, of course, Pat McGrath was the one behind
the wonderful looks on the runway.
What was more surprising, though, was to find out that she achieved that look with her new
palette, which is apparently the Mothership 5 palette, um, by Pat McGrath Labs.
This of course, this hot ticket item.
I like, am I like the last person, I think I'm like the last person to review this
palette, but I kind of have a saying, like, if you do something first, but I do it better,
then you copied me.
That's kind of my philosophy.
But, um, I decided to review it because I'm like really in love with the palette.
I keep seeing videos where people are like, they all have this obnoxious red on their
eyes, it's, no shade, but like shade, I can't go outside with like red eyeshadow.
Well, first things first.
If you haven't seen me before, the pleasure is mine.
My name is Saachi.
I'm a visual artist from New York City, and I've been blessed to be surrounded by
some pretty amazing people.
And I've learned some things along the way.
I decided to create my YouTube channel because I couldn't really find anyone on YouTube
that I could relate to, and I think I complained about it enough that I finally decided I was
going to make my own content.
And so that's what this review is getting brought to you by.
Brought to you by our sponsors, me.
So you open it up, and you get the palette, you bring up the palette.
You open it up and you get like, after you take out the palette, you have this, this,
little insert thing that has all… are we dogfighting?
Is that what we're doing?
Okay that has all of the shades that are in the palette.
We're definitely dogfighting.
And then you open it up.
This is obviously what you were looking for.
Look at these shades.
This is the shade that I said everyone for some reason, like, keeps using.
I don't understand.
Like, it's my least favorite shade in the palette.
I like it for what it is artistically, but it's not something that's ever going to
go on my eye.
I wanna say that my favorite shades are, actually let's go through the shades and I'll do
like little swatches for you to see.
The first shade I'm swatching is called Skinshow Divine Glow.
This is actually like a white gold type of warm gold eyeshadow.
I don't quite know if the camera's picking up like how beautiful it is, but I actually
used it as a highlight on my cheek, and I topped it with another eyeshadow in the palette.
The next shade that I decided to swatch was Entrapment.
Entrapment is this really beautiful warm brown that I actually used in my crease color.
If you are someone who is comparable in complexion to me, you can actually use Entrapment.
I'm so obsessed with this next color.
It's called Bronze Blaze.
It's a shadow that I'm sure you're looking at and you're probably like, I have this.
It's like this bronze coppery.
I actually call it like a true bronze, though some people describe it as copper.
Easy to apply, and you don't need a lot of it to create a nice look.
This next shade is called Rose Gold 005.
And I actually suspect it'll be a favorite of those who like wearing Uggs, and, all jokes
aside, I think it's a really, really beautiful shade and I think it would look nice topped
on a light pink shade.
This next shade is called VR Fire Opal.
I suspect that this is the shade that I saw some models wearing at Anna Sui.
I think it is a really nice duochrome that kind of switches from like a blue to a green.
It's almost like a marine blue.
I don't know if that's the word I'm looking for.
This next shade is called Xtreme Aubergine.
It's a really complex purple.
Definitely one of my favorites in the palettes.
Like it's like sophisticated.
It's a classy purple.
It reminds me sort of like of an eggplant color.
I really like the mattes in this palette because I find them very blendable.
For some reason, I still haven't used this shade, Gilty Pleasure, although I definitely,
definitely think it's a very nice, wearable, everyday eyeshadow.
I think that this shade would look really nice by itself, and it's extremely buildable.
It kind of reminds me of like a taupe-y, I don't know.
I wanna say champagne, but it's not.
Disobedient is like a nice reddish brown.
It's a warm brown.
These shadows are very true to color.
Especially the mattes.
Not only are they true to color, but they're very blendable.
Blitz Flame is a favorite of many in this palette.
It is a rusty, fiery red.
I actually think that it is probably the best in texture and it reminds me of the Rose Gold
005 texture.
Last, but not least is Astral Luna Gold.
It is a duochrome, and I'm pretty sure that you can even see on the camera how half of
it looks like it's a silver.
The other half looks green.
And that's just the difference between spaces in my arm.
Imagine if you had this on the eyes.
I put it on top Skin Show Divine Glow.
That's what I used to highlight my cheeks.
So now that we've gotten through the swatches, I can tell you what I like and what I don't
like.
First things first, what exactly this palette is in terms of packaging.
I can understand that people might be a little iffy when it comes to figuring out why a palette
is going to cost $125.
Do you see the engraving?
I don't know if you can see the engraving in the back of the palette.
I don't know if you can see the, like, embossed nature on the top imprinted.
I don't know if you can see the fact that it's not cardboard and it's something
that you can carry, and if you're someone like me who needs to go places, I can't
be like, God Bless.
I love Anastasia Beverly Hills like anyone else does, but I can't take Anastasia Beverly
Hills in my bag, like, to travel.
It's going to break apart and make a mess.
It's just a beautiful palette.
Like the mattes are buttery, they're creamy.
It's powder, but it feels like… it feels almost moist.
That's such a disgusting word, right?
This is a palette that… this is like an adult palette.
This is like a "I'm a grown woman about myself" kind of palette.
Not to say that like, you can't get an elf palette and it's the same.
You know, well not the same at all.
I don't have a bad thing to say about any of the eyeshadows in this palette.
Even Blitz Flame, the one that I just spent like too long hating on, it is a beautiful
eyeshadow shade.
I just wouldn't put it on my eye.
There are people who would.
I think that people are not really seeing just the potential of this palette.
Especially when it comes to Aubergine, VR Fire Opal, um Astral Luna Gold.
Like these, these shades, you're not, you're getting shades that are like unlike stuff
on the market.
Yeah, you can find something like… there's a Natasha Denona Chroma Color?
I think it's called a Chroma whatever.
It reminds me a lot of VR Fire Opal, but the Natasha Denona thing, like a lot of Natasha
Denona things are messy.
Um, her palettes are cute.
Not as cute as Pat McGrath Mothership.
I like held it and I was kind of just like, this is, this is a classy weapon of choice.
Like, if you ever need to just, like, your haters, this is.
You get a Pat McGrath Mothership palette.
I didn't swatch it in store, I bought it because I was like I'm gonna buy this palette,
I'm gonna go home and I'm gonna look like the models.
Clearly.
And I go home, and I like swatch the shades, and I run back to Sephora, in the rain, to
pick up the Mothership 1 and Mothership 2 palette because I've never seen anything
like this.
I wanna like venture into the lipsticks.
If anyone knows like a lipstick that would be good for me, if you've kind of sussed
out my style, recommend them for me in the comments section.
Obviously like I said, if right now you can't afford it, put it on your Christmas wishlist,
send it to your boyfriend, send it to someone else's boyfriend.
Get the palette if you can.
Or just get one of her Mothership palettes.
They're amazing.
I'm assuming it's possible if you're watching this video because I know that you
did see that it said Pat McGrath Labs.
Can I get more looks on YouTube with Xtreme Aubergine?
Please?
Can we do that?
Can someone please make more looks.
Come through Pat.
Oh yeah, one thing.
Pat McGrath, please.
Please.
If you're gonna sell palettes for $125, like I'm over here like, you can't have
cardboard on this, like, I understand that this can be cardboard, but it's gonna be
made of tougher stuff.
It's like, this is like construction paper.
Please.
Please get it together.
Please!

Warface PS4/Xbox1 review. - Duration: 10:26.
Warface is an online first-person shooter featuring vs. And co-op multiplayer
It's basically like Call of Duty in the sense that it's focused on infantry only playing mostly in close quarters battle
But also like battlefield in the sense that there are four classes each with different strengths and weaknesses as well as having
Respective roles to carry out in order to support your team.
I used to play this game on xbox 360 up until it was shut down three and a half years ago and to me personally the
360 edition of Warface was and still is quite easily the best first-person shooter
I have played to this day with the second best just barely being half as good
The first thing I liked about it was that players had a relatively high
Resistance to bullets so they don't get two shot by just anything
Also like the overall balancing in the game at the time. It wasn't perfect
But still it was pretty decent as there was hardly ever a major disparity between the quality of weapons
Meaning that one could have a decent chance against a high tier weapon using a low tier weapon.
I really liked recoil at the time being that it varied widely to help balancing with higher
damaging weapons having greater recoil and lesser weapons having little recoil
Recoil was also stronger on average than on call of duty
So it wasn't so boring to shoot yet at the same time
The recoil never went in all directions at random when aiming down sights, so it usually wasn't very annoying at all
Overall, I think recoil had a really nice feel to it once you get used to it.
I also like the controls as they were made with an ideal setup with console gaming
Specifically in mind being that the X access was more sensitive than the Y access for are looking or aiming as is the usual
preference for console gamers
Pressing X or square was different from holding it for those times players. Try to reload next to a double climb area
And of course a menu that was not reliant on a cursor
also using B or circle to change sights X or square to change muzzle and
Y or triangle to change rail for weapon customization
And I also really like the maps available in the game back then
three good examples of
360 maps are downtown hangar and blackgold which I'm pretty confident that most will agree with me when I say that please
Easily beat the other maps currently available on the ps4 edition
So the first issue I have with this game as it is now is the overall
balancing of weapons being that there are a number of
overpowered weapons available to the community that make other weapons underpowered by comparison a
few good examples
being all gold weapons and their regular counterparts and
any sniper rifle that is able to one-shot without a head shop largely in part due to
The ease of quick scoping in game which allows a sniper to dominate the field in close quarters
Which just doesn't make any sense.
One of the big things feeding this issue is the way the in-game store is set up to add
Overpowered weapons to the game making them available for rent with war dollars or for purchase with credits
Without even having to unlock them through the vendor, which also makes this game pay2win by definition
also, I think it's worth noting that the overpowered weapons are the only thing that
players bother renting or purchasing in the first place
These two issues in
Contrast to what
I said earlier make a resistance to bullets almost as low as hardcore games Call of Duty far more often than it should be to
Back this up. This game is supposed to promote cooperation between teammates and yet players health and armor
Tends to be eaten away
So quickly that it's almost pointless for medics to heal teammates or engineers to repair armor
Also making it much riskier for a medic to revive teammates
With that said players hardly ever last long enough to have any need for an ammo resupply
Overall rendering a cooperative game practically into a free-for-all
I also dislike two things about recoil now the first being that weapons with less recoil
Being weaker to begin with have a slower recovery from recoil
Which means that they take longer to reset their aim after firing shots than others making them even more underpowered
The other issue with recoil is that all weapons have a set path with which their recoil follows.
Which can tend to throw one aim at times and is really just annoying.
I strongly dislike the six month plan for pvp maps as I
personally feel that the older maps for multiple reasons should take priority and
Be really soon or at least that player should be allowed to vote on what maps they think
Should be released for the console versions next
I also dislike a number of visual changes made over the years being the standard player model
Some of the weapon and armor models and especially the warface logo as it perfectly
represents how screwed up beyond all recognition
The game is now
Please keep in mind that the game was originally very different and that this is just in my opinion
My first suggestion would be to consider damage per shot rounds per minute and recoil above all else to
Nerf more powerful weapons considerably keeping the weaker weapons mostly as they are
this would better even the playing field for everyone while also considerably
increasing average bullet resistance for players so that the
Restoration of health ammo and armor will be much more meaningful than they currently are not
To mention that reviving teammates wouldn't be quite as risky for medics
overall improving cooperation in PvP
Also increasing damage per shot for pistols by roughly 20 percent as the sniper
Should come to rely on them in close quarters, but frankly
They are generally too weak. The same goes for medics in mid to long range and also reducing the damage modifier for headshots
Down to two to three times rather than having four to five times
Not that I think it's realistic but headshots currently kill far too easily without even using sniper rifles or shotguns
Point blank for my liking.
The rebalancing of sniper rifles specifically should also include a dramatically increased
Scope in time being four to five times what it currently is to prevent excessive quick scoping
Increased recoil for those that are semi-automatic and can one-shot without head shots
Like the Remington R11 RSASS
and it's gold counterpart and
suppression like in battlefield should also be added so that
Snipers aim can be thrown for moments at a time if shot at in rapid succession by enemies
enabling players using assault rifles SMGs
and pistols to have a decent chance at counter sniping while still keeping the sniper mostly at a
considerable advantage at long range
also
Find a different way to make money on this game without making it pay to win
I think it would work best if the store were to be an exact remake up the one on the Xbox 360 edition
Also adding all the rentable weapons besides crown and the event weapons into the vendor and not adding
Anything permanently into a player's inventory for free after unlocking it
From there just increased the price in war dollars for all weapons armors and equipment considerably
Also increasing the costs for repairing and maintaining
items in one's inventory to make it a little harder to save up and progress and
Add an option to purchase all unlocked weapons permanently with kredits
This would make it more meaningful to save up war dollars as players would be able to purchase items permanently with them
but also make it much more tempting to use kredits to find a shortcut and
Reducing the price of credits by 40% give or take would make it more affordable to a vast majority
Between that and the temptation it stands to reason that far more micro transactions would be made
And most likely a considerably greater income for Warface
Although it would be a little annoying to the community. It most certainly is drastically better than putting up with a pay to win system
and
finally, I strongly feel that the older logo is and always will be the true logo for this game and
Thus suggest that the current logo be replaced with a remaster of the older logo
also restoring the older standard player models and their corresponding armor models and
Adding them into the store as dynamic flair skins for purchase.
Please like this video if you agree with my suggestions.
Otherwise if you disagree just dislike the video.
Also leave a comment for whatever you have in mind.

LUNETTE PERIOD CUP REVIEW 2018/ BELITA - Duration: 15:30.
hey guys what's up my name is Belita if you are new to this channel don't forget
to subscribe so you can watch all my videos anyways um today I'm gonna talk
to you about the menstrual cup specifically I'm going to talk about the
lunette one now quick story I did get mine I think it was four years ago or
five years ago that's how long I've been using mine when I first saw the
commercials on this thing I was like oh that sounds like a great idea I think I
saw it on Facebook so as soon as I got it as soon as I had the opportunity I
got it so this is my old one this is the new one I got the transparent one this
one comes with a green pouch the yellow one comes with like a yellowy pouch
thingy the pink one comes with a purple pouch
or a blue pouch and then the orange Cup comes with like a blue pouch I'm sorry
the other one came with the pink anyways I don't remember the every depending on
the color cook that you buy with Lynette is depending the pouch you're gonna get
so anyways I started using mine for years ago for five and that was life
changer for me I've never used tampons or pads ever I remember the first time
using it it was so weird to put it on I was kind of scared to put it on at the
beginning because I've never I didn't know I was gonna work or not and I don't
know if it was gonna be worth my money or not but after using it the second or
third time after practicing of course it was a life-changing it it's like you
don't feel anything at all it was amazing
now I'm gonna talk about this one we are gonna open it up and see what we got so
sorry this is the packaging it shows in the
front the little cup that you've got I got mine for $27 or third
on Amazon they also sell like the diva cups and target I've seen him there and
I think of different kind of cup I wasn't sure what I was gonna get for
around the second round time around I mean so I just played it safe I was like
you know what I'm just gonna go ahead and get the old one so this is what the
lunette cup looks like it has two holes up here it has little stem I guess and
then it's super flexible I will have to compare like the plastics I know some
girls like it hard I know some girls like the plastic hard I don't know I
have to compare both and see I feel like the first one is harder than this one
definitely this one is more sturdier than this one
I also saw reviews on the Diva Cup saying a lot of people a lot of girls
were saying that these were more they were more soft than the old ones I don't
know if they changed up the material or there may or they become or they become
so popular that a lot of that the companies are making them less better if
that makes sense I still have to try this out and see what's up it comes with
it comes with a little instruction thingy here and then the little pouch
where you can store it so yes gross if you can get your hands on it is gonna
change your life I could tell you a lot of stories or you could look up a lot of
stories here on YouTube with good and bad experiences but normally you get
good experiences out of this so what you want to do first is check your cup and
see if it has the little holes up here make sure they're all open mine is open
so that's great second of all you want to wash it and rinse it it's clean I
haven't touched this or like use this at all so you want to rinse it and clean it
and then you want to boil it for 15 to 20 minutes make sure the water pot is
full of water so this thing doesn't burn you know some girls burnt theirs but
that's because they they didn't put enough water so be
careful when you're doing this that's what you want to do is wash your hands
and once you're on your period you start placing it now how do you place it this
is the way I do it normally tell you to fold it normally they tell you to fold
it like this and then like this I tried that and I found it so hard so what I do
is I just fold it in like this it creates this weird shape and then I just
insert it in whatever way possible and once it's it's inside I just push it
sometimes it will be folded like in your vagina like that so what I do I like to
do is just insert finger and just like go around so it kind of stays in place
so after that maybe 10-15 minutes are gonna pass and then I'm gonna feel like
a loop like a like something popped open and that just and that just means that
the cup is getting adjusted to the vagina so don't worry about that it does
feel weird it feels like you got a cramp but like a three-second cramp or like a
one second cramp it's not that bad really
I've gotten used to it so it's not something new for me but if you are
trying it for the first time and you feel this after inserting it it's
totally normal it doesn't hurt it just feels like a
second cramp and after that it's you're gonna feel so much better without
discomforts or anything like that oh I don't know if I mentioned but wash your
hands before you put it in put it out clean it after you clean it and
everything make sure your hands are always always clean now a lot of girls
do once they have the cup inside maybe this could bother bother them a
lot so what a lot of girls do is they cut it and they have a little line so
you could kind of measure it where you want to cut it some girls cut it all the
way to the edge I never cut mine because some girls are afraid that they might
get lost in your vagina but that's not gonna happen it's not gonna get lost so
I don't care if I have a little bit of this thing sticking out so I just pulled
it from here I have to be really care you do have to be careful not to like
they do tell you like don't pull too hard it's gonna rip mine's never ripped
but again I think the material is so different I it's more the old one is
definitely more sturdy than this one so we'll see how this one goes so yeah I'm
gonna they do tell you once it's inside your vagina what you're gonna do is like
grab the very edge and then pull out like that it is a little uncomfortable
because you do feel like the opening when taking it out what I like to do is
squat in the toilet and then just dump the blood inside of the toilet I had I
have had splashes but not too bad that's only happen like once or twice in the
last four years but it's nothing big you just have to be really careful how you
pull it sometimes this will go up my vagina and then I would just pull pull
pull pull again the other one's a little bit more sturdy and just you know I I
don't know I guess I've had a lot of practice you just have to practice and
see what's better for you I'm just telling you my experience of how I do
things and see if this might work for you as well so definitely practice the
way I'm telling you things go ahead and look at other girls videos and practice
the way they do their things but with time you'll figure out what to do with
your practice am I making sense since I did get mine when it just
started I had nobody I I didn't have YouTube really to rely on so I had to do
my own thing this is what works for me and it's definitely gonna work for you
so practice practice practice I forgot to mention that they do so different
sizes for different flows I mean they sell one for heavy flows they still one
for medium to light flows I got the normal I got the light to normal flow
they also sell like the normal to high flow and then really heavy flow I think
those are the three types of menstrual cups that you're gonna get depending on
the brand but it normally is like that you can only wear it up to 12 hours yes
I I know this sounds so girls but I've used it for more than 12 hours but this
is because my flow is not that heavy I swear I've I forgot I was in my period I
forgot I ever had this thing up there so I've gotten up to 15 hours with it don't
worry nothing happened everything's cool I'm just letting you
know try to keep track of your period is I story you don't feel anything so
that's why you could keep it up to 12 hours because it's healthy it's not
gonna damage unless you're like allergic to the material or something but it will
not damage you you won't feel uncomfortable uncomfortable or anything
normally you change it four times a day depending on your flow but you could
keep it up to 12 hours which is great and this is why I love this because with
pads and tampons you're always like walking like have a diaper on and no no
I've gotten spills yes I've gotten spills but not major spills just like a
little dot on my underwear it happens when the cup is very full you could you
you can I can feel when it's really full and I know when it's
I'm to M get out but for example when I'm exercising or something that's when
the cup moves more because your vagina muscles are moving and the cup is
constantly moving you will have a little bit of leakage so I do recommend getting
the mini protector mini pads I don't know what they're called but there are
the tiny ones just to protect your underwear so you don't have spills and
then just toss them out if you ever have spills sir change it up every day just
to keep it clean so yeah make sure I also every time every time I shower I do
take it out there and rinse it and clean it while I'm in the shower because it's
comfortable because I'm naked and because it's easy or now to remove it
you do want to wash your hands first so what I do is I'm in the toilet and I
dumped it in the toilet in a squatting type of position I think that's easier
for me other girls do it standing up but for me squatting is the easiest way and
then if I have a sink next to me I always make sure I have a sink when I
try to change up my mic up that way it's less embarrassing and less gross you
know you will get messy sometimes but not all the time if you're careful it
won't be messy at all so what I do is just like dump it I leave it in the
thing I dump it I clean myself and then I go to the sink and rinse it there and
then I put it back on standing up in a squatting position so that's how I find
it easier to do and once your period is over what I like to do again take it off
clean it with like a soap that doesn't have scent and then you have to boil it
for again 15 to 20 minutes so it's super clean so all so it doesn't create
bacteria or anything like that make sure you wash your hands before and
after doing this don't forget if you ever put the cup and have diarrhea
vomits your head hurts or get dizziness be sure
to not use it and go and speak to your doctor so he can give you a little bit
more information and I don't know it's very recommended to not use it if you
get these symptoms obviously only use this when you're on your period don't
use it if it's ripped or you see some kind of damage keep away from children
and pets now what I just learned is that because I've never had to like Google
this is that when you're ready to toss your old one I just read that you could
burn these to create zero waste so I'm gonna burn mine that should be fun I
didn't know this could burn fast but that should be fun definitely don't do
it like any place where all your stuff can get burned be careful when you do it
for last when is it time to change your old period cup you want to change it up
when you see it changing colors or obviously it's gonna get discolored
because blood is gonna like paint is that how you say is gonna change the cup
that doesn't mean that you have to throw it away instantly it still works just
make sure you wash it properly after every period before and after you change
it rinse it also if it gets damaged like ripped or something you should change it
up to a new one my advice is just like you will know when it's time to change
also they mentioned that if it starts to smell a little bit bad it's also time to
change it and of course I recommend this to all my friends like every time we
talk about periods it's I'm always recommending this product to them when I
see them use tampons or something I'm always like even random people like do
you know what the cup you should try it I've been using mine for the past four
years but definitely do your research before you actually buy one so yeah guys
if you can get your hands on this try this is not gonna take your virginity
away okay for those people wondering and asking this does not take your virginity
oh wait they also sell like really I they also sell virgin cups but I think
that's just advertising because they're like smaller or something like that I'm
not sure so yes guys if you can get your hands on these it's gonna be life
changer I am Telling You don't think it twice just go ahead and get your cup
brands and I recommend I was gonna get the Diva Cup to try it out but after
reading reviews I was like you know what I'm just gonna grab the same one I had
if I can get my hands on the Diva Cup I will try it and and let you guys know
how I like it but for now I'm sticking with Luna so
yeah guys that is it for this video I hope you enjoyed if you have any
questions any concerns please let me know I will try to answer you as best as
I can thank you guys so much for watching and I'll see you in the next
one

Awaken the Phantom - Nike Phantom Vision Review - Duration: 7:45.
Hey guys whats up and welcome to a new boot review video!
Today I will test the Nike Phantom Vision!
I recieved a lot of messages if I could test them and thanks to 11teamsports I am able to do this rigth now.
So lets start with the first category which is the touch and control with the Nike Phantom.
And I have to say in this category the boot performs extreme good!
The upper is very thin and adapts brilliant to your foot.
So the Nike Phantom allows you a very good and direct touch to the ball!
The upper also has plenty of grip points to help prevent the ball from slipping
Specially the trick section is covered very well!
I felt right at home and had no problems with the ball control
So lets move on with the category of the fit of the Nike Phantom Vision!
The shoe is also convincing in this category
I had no pressure points and did not need a warm-up phase
The shoe fits quickly and very well to your foot which is why you get a very good fit!
The shoe is suitable for wide feet! However, the shoe can be adapted for medium feet by the so-called Ghost Lacing below the upper
I did not slip in the shoe nor did I have bruises
So I can say that the shoe has more than convinced me in the field of fit.
So lets end with the last category which is the durability!
Also in this category the shoe performs very well!
In my test phase I could not detect any signs of wear!
I have tested the shoe in black colorway which is definitely an advantage on artificial turf!
Say I could not detect discoloration!
The shoe looks good and solid processed and also the forefoot is well glued
So you have no problems with the usual rise of the sole
So I can say I'm definitely satisfied with the durability of the shoe
Due to the good workmanship, the shoe should last for one season!
So thats it for today! Thanks for watching!
Leave a comment what you think about the Nike Phantom!
And again a big thank you to 11teamsport!
So thats it for today! Done forget to leave a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel.
Because there will come also a boot battle with this boot! So stay tuned!
I am out! Peace

TicWatch Pro Review - Duration: 16:50.
Hey, what's up?
It's Jerad with State of Tech, and today we're going to take a look at the TicWatch Pro.
This is the latest TicWatch that's available, and it's their premium model.
So I wanted to talk about some of the features.
It's got a couple of really neat things, and it's got a couple of big misses that I think
are bummers.
But it's really up to you, as to whether or not you think it is a good buy or not.
So I'm going to talk about all these things and let you decide.
Make sure to click on that subscribe button on our channel here, to be notified when we
put out new videos.
And then, of course, comment down below, to join in on the conversation.
So I've got links to this watch in the description, including a couple of different bands that
I chose for it so that I can change those out.
Make sure to click on those links, that help support our channel here.
So the packaging is really nice on the watch, but what's really cool is the watch itself.
So here's the watch on my wrist, and it's a pretty good size watch.
I have a pretty decent size wrist, and so I like a watch that fills it up.
But what's unique about this watch is not necessarily the fact that it's a pretty decent
size body.
It does have just shy of 1.4 inch, 400 x 400 display.
But it also has a secondary display that you're looking at right now, which is a little challenging
to see, but there it is.
It looks really good, and especially out in the sunlight, where a lot of watches fail
at being able to be read.
This display, which they're calling The Essential Display, is another layer of a display over
the top that has a transparency.
And when it shuts off, so when I rotate the watch and the rest of the watch comes on,
that goes away and you can see right through it.
And then when the watch goes into essential mode again, you're able to see that overlay
display.
And what that does is it saves your battery life big time.
This watch in and of itself can get more than two days of use in Full Mode, without having
to shut anything down.
But it also has what's called Essential Mode, which shuts down a lot of the basic Wear OS
or Android features, and gives you this just this essential overlay display that we're
looking at right now.
And you can get up to 30 days of battery life on that, which is actually pretty fantastic.
So with that said, I mean, these smart watches, they aren't the latest technology.
You're not getting bleeding-edge technology and this watch.
You aren't really getting that in any of the watches that are out there right now.
But what you're getting is good optimized equipment for battery life.
So the hardware is really well thought-out and put together in this watch.
So as you can see here, it's really responsive.
So it goes into Essential Mode.
When I rotate my wrist back or wait a couple of seconds, and then rotate my wrist, and
you can see it comes on and off pretty quick.
So that's really not too bad.
A lot of people were reporting a lagginess with the watch.
I haven't really seen that.
There have been a couple instances where maybe the first time I've loaded a heavier app,
I've had that happen.
this watch does have four gigabytes of storage and 512 megs of RAM.
Which isn't a whole lot, but it is enough to run some really basic apps, on the watch.
And so, if I tap on the crown right here, I can get into ... It's not really a crown,
it's just a button.
I can see all the different apps that I've installed.
The heart rate monitor on the watch, and most of the main features of the watch, operate
within the manufacturer's app.
And I'm not really a huge fan of the manufacturer's app.
So I typically install Cardiogram on most of my watches so that, that way I can sync
over all of my data and have all of my heart rate data and everything like that, sync across
regardless of what Android device or Wear OS device I'm using.
So, definitely pretty cool.
You can even ... I'm not going to make a review of this app, but it is one that lets you universally
sync all of your stuff across.
That's an alternate to Google Fit themselves.
So just to launch a couple of other apps, just so that you can see here, if we go into
the heart rate, this is the standard heart rate app that came with it.
I can tap to test, and it shows me my recent history.
And of course I can swipe through and change my settings there.
We also have, what else did I install on here?
We've got Facebook, Messenger, and Nest, and Google Play music.
What's really cool about this watch is that it has a speaker built into it, and it's actually
a pretty loud speaker, so you can listen to music right from it.
You can answer calls and all that good stuff.
Of course, being that it's Wear OS, you have your Google Assistant and everything, so that
you can do all the typical things, responding to text messages, asking it questions and
whatnot.
All that stuff is, is boilerplate.
You would expect that from an Android wear device these days.
So this watch is pretty responsive.
I really have no complaints as far as that goes.
It comes pre-loaded with some different watch faces for you to choose from.
And then of course you can add in a multitude of watch faces.
All the watch faces that come with it have the TicWatch branding on it.
And they're not really too bad, they're nice-looking watch faces, they're pretty minimal.
So if you want something more custom, you'll definitely have to download an app and customize
the watch faces to your liking.
When the essential screen is on ... so, when we're in Essential Mode here ... let me get
it in there and not rotate my wrist.
You get the time, you get the date, your steps, and then the battery life on the watch.
So it is really just the essential stuff that you're going to need to know, in order to
keep your watch from dying.
Or just the basic information, that's why they call it Essential.
But it's not going to do a whole lot more, like check your heart rate.
If you put the watch in Essential Mode ... the mode that the watch is in right now is not
Essential Mode.
It simply just goes into that mode for the screen only.
So let's talk about the watch itself.
It does, like I said, have a little bit bigger of a body.
I like that, I like a watch that, it's a little beefy.
I think as a pro version, you definitely would want that.
The watch band is like a leather feel on the outer side, and on the inner sight it has
a sport feel.
Kind of with these little cutouts in here to, to help it breathe.
The only problem is that these really catch your skin.
Not skin as far as, they're not pinching you or anything like that, but they get kind of
gross.
And so, it's just typical wear.
You know, our skin sheds a little bit slowly throughout the day, and this definitely does
a good job of scraping that up and keeping it for you for later.
So I highly recommend having a dedicated toothbrush or something like that for this watch band,
so you can just get in there and clean that out from time to time.
The back of the watch is fairly large.
I wish that it, being this large, maybe it was a little, had a little bit of a concave
to it, a little bit of an angle for more comfort fit.
The sensor here, the heart rate sensor and whatnot, does raise up a little bit.
So, unlike some watches where you have to really wear it tight to get a good reading,
this little raised area definitely makes enough contact with your wrist so that it will, it'll
get a good reading.
So you don't have to wear the watch super-tight.
The watch is water resistant, it's IP68.
So you should be able to take it swimming with you, and all that good stuff.
However, you do want to be careful diving in with the watch on, or something like that.
It may be enough of a thrust of water.
IP68 is a decent certification, but I've had other devices fail that are IP68 certified.
So definitely be careful in using this watch in the water.
It should be okay, but you'll definitely want to make sure that they will support the TicWatch,
should it get water damage from typical swimming usage and whatnot.
You can easily replace the band just by pressing the little lever here and snapping the band
off, and replacing it with your favorite watch band.
Maybe a metal one, something a little bit different, that's more your style.
They make it really easy for that to change.
This watch itself just has Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity.
It doesn't have an LTE chip in it, which is a little bit of a bummer.
I would have liked to have seen something like that considering it's a pro model.
Most of these types of watches, these smart devices, don't make sense for me unless they
have an LTE chip, because otherwise I have my phone on me the whole time.
If the watch can't really operate on its own without the phone being within a reasonable
distance to the watch, then it really doesn't serve as much of a purpose for me as it would
... I mean, you can definitely go on a run or something like this, and it has GPS built
in.
It's going to track your run.
You don't have to have your phone on you.
You can download a little bit of music to it.
It has that four gigabytes of storage, so you can go and do a workout or something like
that alone without your phone on you.
But you're definitely going to want your phone on you if you want notifications, if you want
to receive your phone calls or text messages.
All of those things are going to require your phone being on you, because currently there
is no LTE version of this watch.
So, those are some features that I think are great, but also are well-missed, on the watch.
And, one thing that is kind of weird about this watch, is the vibrating motor.
Now, when a watch vibrates on your wrist, I think that it should feel good in a sense
where it shouldn't feel like something is rattling and breaking on your wrist.
Like the vibrating motor on this watch is just not really that smooth.
I'll compare it to, say the Fitbit Versa, has a decent vibrating motor in it.
It feels more connected to the chassis of the watch.
Of course the Apple watch has a whole different type of motor in it altogether, that gives
a different type of feedback whenever it vibrates.
But this watch, it just doesn't feel that good.
And remembering, having the TicWatch S, I feel like the TicWatch S vibrating motor actually
felt a little bit better than the one in here.
This one just, it's loud when you want your watch to vibrate and give you notifications,
you don't want everybody sitting within the small area.
You don't want everybody sitting around you to be able to hear your watch vibrating.
It should be silent.
You should be able to get that notification and be notified in a haptic type of matter,
or some way that you can feel without actually having to hear it.
And that's the, you're definitely going to hear those things with this watch.
So, $250 is as currently the price point on the watch.
I think it's a good price considering it does have some unique features, like the secondary
screen here that makes it really easy to see in bright situations.
I mean even right here, of course, if I rotate it a little too much and I'm getting a direct
reflection from one of my lights in here ... but this is very bright right here.
And you can see the screen really well, pretty much regardless of what angle you rotate the
watch to, you're going to be able to see this nicely outdoors.
I had no problem there.
So just to kind of round this video up, the top button here of course takes you into the
apps.
And you can view your apps, and then it takes you back.
And then the bottom button here actually takes you into Workout Mode.
Typically, it's going to want you to have their own app installed.
I think I mentioned it earlier, I'm not a huge fan of their app, because they try to
really mimic the Apple watch ring style.
And, of course the app doesn't.
It has some features, but it isn't really like that great of an app.
So I tend just not to use it.
But, you can track your workouts here, outdoor walk.
All of these, of course that are outdoors, utilize the GPS.
So when you tap on one of them, it's going to lock that GPS here.
So it wants you to stand still in an open area.
And once it locks that GPS ... which really, if I was outside and wasn't surrounded by
lights and equipment, would only take a few seconds.
Then you're ready to go.
And, you can hear, that's actually the beep coming from the watch.
The speaker on it is relatively loud, just to give you an idea.
And I can kind of toggle through here and see all of the different activity from my
run.
And then this would show the GPS.
Of course, you'd see a better representation if you were outdoors, and it was able to connect
properly.
It will auto-pause when you don't move, and then you can long press to end, and it's going
to go ahead and end that, and then tap on the check mark to confirm it.
But there's lots of different workout types that you can choose in here, which is great.
And I like how they've laid this out.
It really does feel kind of like a Fitbit in that aspect.
So you don't have to go through and look for, your workout app or whatever, in the APP area
of the watch.
It's just right there on a button.
And I do believe you can re-map that button to something else if you would like.
So the buttons themself.
They aren't super-tight in the body, which makes me a little concerned that if I caught
one of these on something, that it would really, it could damage it.
But I have actually caught them on something a couple of times, mostly pulling my hand
in and out of my, out of a pocket or something like that.
It might catch on the edge of the fabric, and it hasn't caused any problems yet.
But the fact that they are not like super-tight, just cause for concern maybe.
I don't know, maybe I'm just worrying for no reason.
It doesn't have like a crown on it or anything that you can rotate, though the buttons rotate,
they don't do anything when you rotate them.
So if I go into the app store and try to rotate a button, it doesn't do anything.
You have to do your swipe gestures from there.
So overall, I would say price for performance and value, I would give this watch like an
eight and a half out of 10.
I think that, for $250, it is a great watch.
You're getting a lot of value.
TicWatch has been really kind of pushing the envelope when it comes to Wear OS watches,
by putting a lot of great features in a watch and keeping the price down.
They've had some, I think, Indiegogo campaigns in the past.
Maybe it was Kickstarter, but I think it's Indiegogo.
And so far, they've been a pretty successful company.
Like I said in the beginning of this video, you can get these watches on Amazon.
I'm sure you can get them other places at this point.
But on Amazon, they come very fast, Amazon Prime.
I've got links down in the description below for you, including a couple of watch bands,
and stuff like that.
Overall, it's a great watch.
I mean, there's really no complaints that I have other than the vibrating motor.
Sure, it could be a little bit more comfortable.
And yes, I wish that there was an LTE chip.
But I would expect to pay a good 50 to $100 more for a watch that had an LTE chip.
I mean, compare it to the Samsung watches, or some of the LG watches of the past, you're
going to pay 350 bucks for a watch that has an LTE chip in it.
And even $300 for the watch, whereas this one's $250, and it has some unique things
to it that I think make it stand out.
Plus it's going to get, they're dedicated to giving you the software updates.
It's running the latest version of Wear OS, where a lot of other watches didn't even get
software updates to go from Android Wear to Wear OS.
So, other than that, I think it's a solid buy, a solid option for somebody who's looking
for an alternative smartwatch.
This does also work on the IOS platform.
So if you're on an iPhone, you don't want an Apple watch, you want something that you
can use ... it's going to work, and everything is going to work just fine on an iPhone, with
the exception of not being able to reply to text messages using Voice.
That's a limitation of course, because Apple locks down their messaging platform.
Hopefully, one day that will change.
So if you have any thoughts, any questions, ask them in the comments section below.
I'll do my best to answer them.
I do think that this is an excellent smartwatch for the price, though it does lack, and have
a couple of things that I wish that it did have.
You really can't complain at 250 bucks for a pro level watch.
And make sure to check out their other versions, the TicWatch S, which is a fantastic watch
for the money.
Sub-$200 price point.

3BHOBBY 3B-T 2306 - Motor Review - Duration: 3:34.
Hello everyone, I am Mirko, and today we see these motors ideal for FPV 5 inch miniquads
These are the 3B Hobby 2306, if you want to buy them find the link in description
Inside the package there is the motor, a set of screws and the nut to secure the propeller.
This series is present with different Kv
We have 1700 to use with 6S batteries,
2100 to use with 5S,
2500 to match 4s
and 2700 Kv to be used with the 4S or 3S
I remind you that Kvs are volt per rounds.
So to maintain a balanced rpm, the more volts the battery delivers, the less Kv the motors need to have.
For example, if we put a 6S battery on a 2700Kv motor
we generate too many revolutions per minute.
The result will be to crack the propeller in flight
because it cannot support the high centrifugal force developed by the motor.
Batteries with a high number of cells and high kv motors
may also burn ESCs or damage the motor itself.
The cables are 20AWG silicone and are 15 cm long,
so we can easily use them on 6-inch quads with 4in1 ESC
The bell is fixed with a hexagonal screw, a more practical and secure solution than the clip.
This also makes it easier to remove it from the motor for cleaning or maintenance.
The shaft is made of hollow steel, which guarantees good strength and low weight.
The outside is 13mm long.
On the base we notice these three small tips that serve to lock the propeller and not make it slip.
The magnets are curved and the distance from the stator is very small,
This guarantees high efficiency and power.
The weight is 31.9 grams, which I think is good, since the cables are also included.
Now let's proceed to the thrust test, I'll use a HQ Prop 5045 V1S and a Tattu 4S 1550mAh 75C
I remind you that the motor I took is 2500Kv
In conclusion, we can say that we are dealing with very interesting engines.
Construction quality and performance are really good
and in this regard I recommend that these motors be combined with ESCs of 35A or higher
This was my review of the 3B HOBBY 2306
