News on Youtube Jun 29 2018

hey guys welcome back to my channel so today I am doing a review video on the

luminess Tarot palettes I have two of them here that I want in a giveaway and

I want to swatch them for you guys and if you want to see them in action like

how they apply with other shadows and primer click on the link down below that

will show you this makeup tutorial it is my zodiac Cancer tutorial and you guys

can see them in action but today we're just gonna be looking on the packaging

the quality of the eyeshadows and how they swatch and tell you a little bit

about the packaging so let's get started the first one I have here is the

strength one and on the back it actually gives you the like tarot card picture

and then it gives you an explanation and so the dynamic strength extends far

beyond mere physical attributes using your inherent strengths along with your

innate ability to suppress emotions as an act to tame and will others your bold

and vibrant vigor will showcase vividly beyond your wildest imaginations make

your passion your strength so this is by aluminous cosmetics and they are

actually based out of Texas so it's a really pretty packaging it's got this

like I'm not sure if this is like a goddess or something on it but it's

super pretty and it opens up like this just like neat art like I think pro

artist palette or something so it comes with a little synthetic brush and as you

can see I used it and it's an okay brush it's definitely better than most but

this one comes with six colors and there's aura passion invincible ambition

infinity and energy today I am wearing ambition and energy and then some of the

other colors on my eyes are from the other palette so I'm just gonna swatch

these on my arm and we'll see how they go so the first one is Ora looks like

this and it's a really pretty metallic pink actually use this on my inner

corner before and it's absolutely gorgeous then we have passion

this one has a bit of silver glitter in it and is more of a purpley red and

again you can see they are super duper pigmented then we have ambition which is

this gold and like I told you guys before you can kind of see these

swatches might be not perfect but that is on my inner corner then we have

invincible which is this kind of white gold this one is super soft and there

you can see what it looks like and then we have infinity which is the blue and

the blue is okay that's two passes there and it's it's more pigmented than others

but yeah so I'm gonna do energy on my other arm this is a really messy swatch

this one definitely applies better when it comes to like your eyelids as you can

see I have it on my eyelids today and we have the moon palette and on the back of

this one it says the nighttime move the nighttime moon is a mysterious place

where things are not always what they seem representing your shadow self the

deep use allow you to dive deep into your soul giving your subconscious a

chance to emanate in a dreamy and celestial beautiful way no matter the

hidden truths that exist in your life the Stars remain bright beautiful and

forever illuminated dream while the moonbeams and it's the same front same

brush same style packaging so the color I'm going to swatch now is illuminate

and it is this kind of vanilla II color which you probably won't be able to see

it's right there then we have empower which is in my crease and this is a

matte brown shade looks like that hopefully

you can see then we have celestial which is basically the same color as empowered

just metallic looks like that right there then we have Eclipse which is this

kind of gunmetal II gray color again it's metallic then we have a lunar which

is seems like a satin shade and it's got a little bit more blue to it than the

other one and lastly we have dream which is this pretty metallic purple and it

just look like that so there is the Moon palette so overall these shadows apply

really nicely and they blend very well but I will say that the blue one

infinity is probably the least impressive out of all of them but all of

the shadows are very prettily packaged and they have a really nice like

embossing on them like there but again if you guys want to see a like in use

kind of thing where I use these shadows check out my tutorial for this look down

below and you guys can get the full effect so I hope you enjoyed this quick

little review and I'll see you guys next time bye

Giant Metal Arm?!?! One Piece Eustass Captain Kid Styling Figure Review with Customize DIY effect - Duration: 5:38.

Hi everyone

Today's review and DIY effect is about another One Piece character

Eustass Captain Kid

Now there are two different versions of Kid

The 2 years pre-timeskip Kid

And the 2 years post-timeskip Kid

Try saying it faster

So this review is about the pre-timeskip one

He first appeared on the Sabaody Island

A nd was then seen as a ruthless sociopathic antihero

He also gets pissed off easily…

Now on to this figure

He is a " Super One Piece-styling " figure

and their figures are actually known for their precision

details

and likeness to their characters

and they do nailed it for this figure

And if you're wondering where this pose is from, it's from here

From top to bottom, he's got this bright red hair that resembles flames

He's got the goggles

And that confident psychopathic-looking grin

And if you can see it

There are marks on his face resembling the frown and the wrinkles on his skin

He needs that because he's got no eyebrows and it makes the grin more sinister

He is suppose to have dark reddish purple coloured lips as well

As for his hands

They too are detailed pretty well

Like you can see the bones of his fingers surfacing just like when you hold your hand out like that

The downside about this particular figure is that there are some

paint smudges on his middle finger

and kind of an incomplete painting of his nails on his index finger

same goes for his pinky finger on his other hand

As for his upper torso, he's got the lean muscular body

You can even see the neck of his muscle

collar bone

and of course he's got the abs

For his accessories

Which none of it is removable

He's got what they call a " fur captain's coat" which is dark brown

With wide and flared collar

Where the insides are maroon

Gold spikes

And gold buttons

I personally like the design of this coat especially with the spikes

as it really gives you the " he's bad but in a cool way"

Now this is how he typically wears the coat in the anime

right arm in and left arm out of the sleeves

The coat is made out of soft plastic and is fixed in this shape

Looking from the back

You have the sleeves

Which are covered

There are gold bangles on his hands

Although there are slight smudges, it's not really obvious

He's got the slim bandolier with minuscule bolts that goes diagonally over his torso

He's got the dagger and flintlock gun which is not removable

Here he has the blue sash just like other characters started to have after the timeskip

On top of it there's a circular buckle with a four leaf clover shape

It's all this little details that make the figure looks good

There's the black and yellow lizard print pants with red fringe

And as you can see, there are some shading effect too

And his boots

Some people say it's motorcycle boots

I'm not really sure

At the bottom there are peg holes in his shoe

To use with the stand he comes together with

Insert the holes accordingly

And this is how he will stand

But you know how I feel about stands

I don't really need them

For details, paint jobs and accuracy, I'll give it a 9.5/10

Just because of the paint smudges which I know is

Really hard to avoid

This kind of figure have no articulation whatsoever

You can only pose him like that on the shelf

But as usual, I'm not happy with a figure without an effect

So I'm going to make one

By using my imagination, I'm going to throw in stuff that I need

Newspaper

Paper towel

Super glue

Pieces of metal or anything that looks like a metal

Pearl Silver paint

Focus

and SNAP

And there we have it

The giant metal arm that Kid uses to crush his enemies

I added a ball joint here

To have a little articulation too for different poses

Let me know if you want me to make a tutorial to show how I did it

And if you have any DIY effect ideas that can be done to this figure, do comment below or inbox me

And I'll try to do it

That's all for today

Do remember to Like, Share and Subscribe to my channel where I will be posting more figure reviews with DIY effects

Till next time

Bye bye

Steel Vengeance - Review (Cedar Point, Sandusky Ohio) - Duration: 5:46.

I can't think of a time when the hype train was running full steam like it is

for steel vengeance in the coaster verse as I'll call it for today steel

vengeance is like the equivalents to the opening of Avengers infinity war so with

all this hype to steal vengeance stack up okay so normally I would start off

with theming but I'm going to hold that topic for the end and just start with

intensity steel vengeance isn't intense like Top Thrill Dragster

or Intimidator 305 which both feature strong positive G's steel vengeance is

loaded with ejector airtime intense airtime there are a couple spots where I

notice the strong positive G's but this ride is not about that type of intensity

this is an out-of-control coaster which almost feels like its goal is to launch

you out of your seat and send you careening into Lake Erie this is the

peak when it comes to airtime intensity so I'm giving steel vengeance a perfect

10 for intensity fun factor honestly I think this is the funnest roller coaster

that I've ever ridden the whole experience is just breathtaking from the

moment you leave the first drop to the moment you are walking off the ride I

was smiling or laughing if the line wasn't so dang long I would just hop

right back on and ride all day so without surprise I'm giving steel

vengeance another perfect 10 for the fun factor originality steal vengeance may

very well be the pinnacle of all RMC coasters the use of the original

structure is incredible still vengeance plays out like a movie with three acts

the first act consists of fun little bunny hills in the pre lift area and the

massive first drop the second act features long sustained airtime Hills

and two unique inversions once you reach the mid-course brake run the ride whirls

into yet another act this time you're diving in and out of the structure this

final act is all airtime moments crazy airtime moments as you are weaving

through this giant wooden structure honestly I felt like I was in the

Falkon as its making its way through the Death Star in Return of the Jedi do you

know that moment in movies when your heroes are being chased and they come to

that point where they're going to squeeze through a tight spot in someone

yells you're not gonna make it yeah that's you yelling before you're

diving into the wooden structure it's crazy you're being flipped and

turned all well steal vengeance is still trying to throw you out of your seat

steal vengeance is a really wild ride oh yeah and just before the ending the

grand finale of the experience steal vengeance throws you into six short

intense airtime Hills many people compare it to bull riding which is

probably not far from the truth so obviously steal vengeance gets yet

another perfect ten in originality smoothness just like most are all our

emcees steal vengeance is butter smooth I couldn't find a single flaw in this

category though this has nothing to do with the smoothness I will say this

steel vengeance has like the loudest chain lift ever even when you're

standing in the station once it starts up the hill it's deafening to everybody

but anyways another ten for Steel vengeance in the smoothness category

okay the final topic is theming like many coasters at Cedar Point or any

Cedar Fair Park the theming is usually really light to non-existent steal

vengeance is no exception besides from the weird-looking trains

yeah I'm not a fan of the design I mean I do get what they're going for and I'm

happy that they put effort into the trains it's just not my style

still vengeance has a couple quote-unquote themed signs throughout

the cue area still vention sign is actually pretty cool-looking I like how

they have these chains holding the sign down like it's a chained beast or

something the structure serves as part of the theming too is I already

mentioned it's quite impressive I do like the lanterns that they use as

lights on the lift Hill it adds a nice little touch where I'm really truly

disappointed with the theming is the station as far as I could tell they did

absolutely nothing with the old meanstreak station if they just jazzed

up the station somewhat I could have given steal vengeance another perfect

rating but because of this one flaw I'm inclined to give steal

vengeance and ate with Femi so my final score comes to nine point

six which is a fantastic rating I was really hoping to give Steele vengeance a

perfect ten but I just can't look past the theming I mean I do grade on a curve

when it comes to the fee me because I can't expect every coaster to be a

Disney or universal level of theming it's just not practical however I do

expect parks to put a little more effort into the theming and steal vengeance

could have used some improvement in its theming honestly it wouldn't take much

for me to push this to a 10 if the station had any theming I would have

went with it we'll that's it for today's review let

me know what you think of steel vengeance am I being too hard for its

lack of Femi or not hard enough let me know in the

comments oh and if you haven't subscribed go ahead and click on the

[ FR/ ENG ] AAC T10 ACTION ARMY / AIRSOFTZONE.COM # AIRSOFT REVIEW - Duration: 23:56.

English subtitles available

Welcome to AIRSOFT REVIEW to discover this first episode specific to a brand new replica. We meet again to discover a new product transmitted by our partner AIRSOFTZONE.COM

It's the AAC T10 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle brand ACTION ARMY which is one of the most appreciated brands of players for their high quality upgrade parts either for AEG or SNIPE and which hits hard by putting on the market this replica with the well-defined character

The recent craze for sniping fans gives these replicas a fate all traced and with the possibilities of upgrade and reliability very quickly with the VSR10 type parts also offered by ACTION ARMY

The replica is delivered in its cardboard reinforced by its polystyrene housing protecting very well the replica, one also finds a very detailed manual of use but no translation in French, a mag 50 bbs translucide and a dummy MAG

We will not find a BBLOADER, or a cleaning rod or extra picatinny rails in this package

We can immediately realize the unusual aspect of this replica by its design very worked and cut to get this aggressive look but keeping a very nice ergonomics.

The majority of elements are matte colors increasing its discretion during your games

Action Army has to accentuate its tactical side by adding these slots for picatinny rails but unfortunately as an option

Its look is really nice and really out of the ordinary which is already a big plus for this replica

The outer barrel is metal and receives a thread allowing to install a silent adapter

The receiver is made from a single-piece injected alloy that receives a 135 mm top rail to mount your precision scope

The bolt handle is alloy and big enough for a good grip during reloading and its safety identical to the VSR10

The body is in very good quality nylon fiber showing from rough surface location but also from 3 zones to accessorize your replica with threaded slots for picatinny rails but only those optional available at ACTION ARMY as the slots have a specific shape to the brand

the body extends to the location for the MAG 50 BBS VSR10 compatible but also to the dummy MAG which will allow him to store a MAG inside

in its continuity the body reveals its ergonomic handle very pleasant grip receiving ACTION marking ARMY

and to finish on a butt with an adjustable cheek rest with its height adjustment knob and lockable by its lower screw

the buttstock is finalized by a BUTT PLATE rubber adjustable thanks to these wedges in options

The replica also offers 6 QD slot to install your strap

As a whole the replica is well balanced and its ergonomics are pleasant

The replica measures 107 cm for a weight of 2.9 Kg not equipped which is similar to other replicas of the same type

this replica is available in DARK EARTH and BLACK color

Let's go to the test chrony balls 0.20 Gr, the replica is given to 0.72 joules with this weight

We go to a test at 40 meters in BBS 0.20 GR on target to know the precision and range of this replica, the first tests at 45 meters allowed to hit the target but at the bottom and not on the upper body

we will test the accuracy targeting the head of the target at 0.20 GR which may be complicated given the low basis weight and the lack of stability of the BBS, we will then test in BBS 0.25 GR.

the BBS pass to the left and right of the target's head, the grammage does not allow a good stability

BBS 0.20 Gr do not allow effective precision

on the bust of the target the accuracy is correct but not on the head

for shots on the bust of the target this is perfect

by contrast the precision shots on the target's head are inconclusive

we will try one last time a shot on the head of the target

the shots to the head go to a few centimeters but I'm not precise enough in BBS 0.20 GR to 40 meters, so we will go to BBS 0.25 GR while knowing that there is a risk of losing distance with this basis weight

we go to tests on target in BBS 0.25 GR to 40 meters, we risk a loss of distance given its power of 295 FPS.

During our tests before filming that we meet very easily jams at the setting HOPUP, pay attention to the quality of these BBS (BBS classic army used during our tests) the innerl barrel is in 6.03 with the seal AAC original.

the BBS goes up a lot to come down quickly on the target, I'll add a notch on the hopup setting. The setting is quite hard but can not be changed during the game

I add another step to the setting to get to the stuffing point.

We are on the verge of blocking BBS in the hopup

We will soon have a blocking of BBS because the BBS have a strange trajectory and a very small distance, I add another step to the HOPUP

we reached the BBS blocking threshold in the hopup, the BBS went straight to the ground 2 meters from the firing zone

I will remove a notch at setting

With one less notch on the setting, the BBS retouches the target but down

the shot is passed between the legs of the target and I remove 2 notches at the setting

I hit the bottom of the target

As soon as I increase the setting of the hop up, we quickly come to a blocking of the BBS in the HOPUP

the trajectory of the BBS is straight, the HOPUP effect is correct, no effect of SIDE SPIN either on the right or left which is very positive.

I will try to aim between the head and the bust of the target

I hit the target at the bust

the trajectory is straight, the inner barrel does its job very well, it will have to go through an upgrade to have higher performance and pass over the 295 FPS which can be low for players playing 450 FPS usually, cons it will be usable in CQB without any worries

let's move on to the positive and negative points : Positive: a replica with an irresistible and ergonomic look. A high quality exterior finish and solid materials. Pleasant performance considering the low power of origin

A possibility of upgrading with full compatibility of the VSR10 part including that proposed by ACTION ARMY. A very good replica base snipe for players wishing to discover this practice and can increase their performance easily

In negative: A replica whose power is too weak for the majority of players generally playing at 450 FPS. A passage through an upgrade to get more enjoyable performance in terms of scope. The lack of accessories like picantinny rails in the package

Here is the first review of the AAC T10 Bolt Sniper Action Rifle and transmitted by our partner AIRSOFTZONE completed

Thanks to Soline and her team for allowing us to present this product

See you soon for the second episode of this replica, because yes we will offer you the upgrade with ACTION ARMY parts to have an even more efficient replica

Viking Star Cruise Ship Review and 2018/19 Itinerary Baltics Caribbean Mediterranean - Duration: 6:26.

everybody it's Bruce here with traveling with Bruce welcome to my channel today

we're gonna talk about this ship right here the Viking star she's a beauty she

was launched only three years ago in 2015 coming in at 48,000 tons and to

give you an idea of what that means a typical carnival ship that can hold

3,000 passengers or a ship like a princess cruise liner or a hone America

cruise liner these ships come in around 95,000 tons

well double this weight but they'll have anywhere from two to three thousand

passengers this ship nine hundred and thirty passengers that's it

she's 745 feet long she's 95 feet wide and she has a crew of 465 and that's is

a very high crew ratio to passenger ratio basically one one crew member for

two passengers very high excellent service all rooms balcony rooms no

inside rooms whatsoever are available on this cruise ship everyone gets a

beautiful view there are no children allowed on the cruise either everyone

has to be 18 and over and it makes for a different cruise experience from

Carnival or Disney or Royal Caribbean or anyone else free Wi-Fi is included in

your fare there's no extra charge for any of the specialty dining restaurants

here's a peek at one of the balcony rooms by the way and with a king-size

bed there's another one right here a little larger unit here with a seating

area the larger balcony rooms are a little more expensive obviously they

myEcon Review 2018 | Why I Joined myEcon - Duration: 6:34.

they're on my channel so I wanted to I'm explained I'm joined to my econ about myecon review 2018

two and a half weeks ago so I kind of wanted to explain you know last week I

was able to walk away from my job it was partly due to my econ so if you were not

familiar with the program it is a program that helps you fix your credit

also helps you I'm teaching something called income shifting which I won't go my econ review 2018 why I joined myecon

too much into detail about but basically it teaches you how to get more out of

your weekly check and who's still working you know and it's it's a super

great program but I really wanted to explain to some people how my econ

actually has changed my life about probably three years ago I actually was

introduced to my econ by a guy called Keith Tucker he's EVP infinity and in in

my econ and he's just super awesome you know at the time I was homeless and some

other things were going on in my life so I was actually sponsored by someone into

the program and you know I really kind of felt bad because I wasn't able to

keep up the monthly membership due to the due to my skirt that situation that

I was in at the time and so you know I was able to go through the training and

really really get an understanding of how income shifting works you know like

I say I wasn't able to stay but the training that was provided for me really

really changed my life and my thinking regarding my finances so later on I was

able to get a job I started working and and this income shifting like I was

saying teaches you how to get more out of your weekly check or bi-weekly check myecon review 2018 why i joined myecon

however it is you get paid on your job and so you know like I say last last

June - last week Thursday June 21st I actually walked away from my job you

know and it was part partly from this income shifting that we teach you inside

in the back office I'm working on restoring my credit repairing some

things you know I can't be a preneur with real jacked-up credit so

you know it's a really super great program you know and like I said that

the training helped me to understand you know where where I was getting short on

my check at so you know that really helped me to to get money back every

week instead of waiting on a tax refund you know I heard I never have been one

that's big on tax refunds but a lot of people just seem to waste their money

but you know my econ helped me to gain this understanding of you know better

finance is the importance of good credit we have so many great products that we

offer you know rowed ashore in say we have health and wellness products you

know legal legal people that will will help us with different things and it's

just just amazing you know I've been in a lot of programs since I started online

in 2014 I have never ever had the type of support that they that we give each

other you know even people that are from different teams when you make a post on myecon review 2018

Facebook they come over to your post they welcome you know they welcome the

person that you're that you made the post about you know it's like it really

seems to be very family oriented great support great training once you get

inside you know so if working from home is something you want to do you want to

work with a solid business you want to work with a reputable company you know

and you want to have a team behind you you know and my four years I've been myecon review

online I've worked with a lot of people but I just have not seen where it is

really you know team work is it's totally promoted inside this program you

know and it's not just something that's just sad and that someone says in a

video you can see it and you can feel it you know whenever someone comes in our

Facebook group I'm on new generation team whenever someone posts a picture of

you know help me welcome so-and-so and so-and-so you know just like I don't

have 15 20 30 comments on of everybody saying welcome you know and then you'll

get like 10 or 15 friend requests from those same people you know and they

reach out to you and help you and want to know if you're struggling or do you

need any more information and oh I was just I'm so blessed you

know I'm kind of at a loss for words right now because there's there's not

really words that I can formulate to tell you how spectacular this program

really Jen truly is so if you're looking to change your finances you know repair

your credit and you're really looking to start an online business that will

actually help you and teach you how to escape the the nine-to-five job life

you've definitely got it in my econ so when you join my team I have a complete

sales funnel built out for us inside the conversion pros if you're new to my

channel that is my that has been my bread and butter for the last three

years it's an all-in-one marketing platform but just my econ alone is it's

definitely you know it's a great program so what I want you to do is click that

link below you know you'll be taken to my lead

capture page so I can get your information you're going from there

you'll go watch a couple videos that will explain more about my each time you

hear some testimonials from people you know you'll learn how you get paid

because you know at the end of the day we all want to make money too and it's a

BICYCLE FRAME REVIEW (SMYINZ by RUFF-CYCLES) - Duration: 5:37.

I will review this frame after being testing it for three years

Before I start, I want to make clear that I am not being sponsored either receiving

any kind of compensation from the frame factory

I will show the frame options, specifications, PROS and CONS and final considerations about it

Stay with me!

If you are thinking about building your custom bike, the frame is one of the most important

and critical parts to be considered

It will define your bike and set the parameters for all parts

Before getting in this frame specifications, let's see what are the frame options

First option If you have advanced welding, metalworking

and fabrication skills (and the proper tools) you can design and build your frame from the

scratch

Second option Buy a high-quality frame to add your parts on it

This is the easiest way, but not much room for customization

Third option Customize a pre-built frame to match your needs

This was my choice Choose a good frame to work with.

You will need some construction's skills, but less than building the whole frame

Warning!

Keep in mind that the frame warranty may be violated with structural modifications!

Frame details

This frame is made by Ruff-Cycles

It is a solid company based in Regensburg, Germany

When I bought this frame, back in2014, they were specialized in frames

fabrications

They sell premium quality frames

Very well designed and with a lifetime warranty

Nowadays they offer a lot more than only frames, they are building one of the most desirable

electric bicycle in the market: The Ruffian!

Ruff-Cycles offers a wide range of frames to your choice

This review is about the Smyinz frame

Let's take a look at the frame specifications

It is a low seat frame, very long, and the bike will ride very close to the floor

This frame will accept the rim sizes of 24" or 26" and 65mm, 80mm or 100mm width

The bottom bracket type is US / BMX

Head tube 1 1/8", 155 millimeters length with the rake angle of 45°

The seat post base is 31.8 mm

Brake Mounts

Fits disc and coaster brakes

Perhaps some small adaptations will be necessary depending on the chosen parts

The frame is unpainted / raw, but the company offers a powder-coating service

You can pick any color you like

It will cost you around 100 Euros extra and a little longer to receive the goods

The distance of the seat-tube to head-tube is approximately 780 mm - according to the

producer it should be enough for people above 190 cm tall

The distance of the seat-tube to bottom bracket is approximately 640 mm

The frame is made of steel, approximately 1400mm long and weighs 6.6kg

Time to talk about the Pros and Cons of this frame

PROS

Very well built and solid frame

The welded joints are very well done and practically disappear after painting the frame

It is designed to fit and accept all available parts of the market

You don't need to buy special parts to build your bike on it

Perfect aligned and straight

Modern and aggressive design

Easy to customize

As there are many free areas, and it is made of steel, you can easily make changes and

add your custom elements as tanks, fenders, engines lights and a lot more

High-quality steel, it offers great elasticity and resistance

Ergonomy

Very comfortable for short distances and daily commute

The low seat position makes very easy to reach the ground and hold the bike if necessary

Very good for city rides and flat areas

No holes or cable holders

You can customize the cableways as you desire

Lifetime guarantee

Cons

The lower part is actually very low (between ten and twelve centimeters from the floor)

it can be quite frustrating for some riders

The 45° head tube, depending on the selected forks combination, can make the bike turning

a bit heavy

Despite having holes for rear brake some adaptation might be necessary

It depends on the chosen parts

No holes or cable holders

You will have to make holes or design your own cable holders

My final considerations

I do recommend this frame for experienced bikes builders as well for those who will

be building the first bike ever The producer offers a great customer service

and very fast delivery At the time I'm doing this video, the retail

price is €329.95 I'll place my links in the video description below

You never know when these things might go on sales

Don't expect to perform very long rides within this frame

Considering the very low bottom tube, this frame ain't the best option for countryside riders

This frame is so reliable that I'm planning a new build very soon

I would like to build an electric bicycle using a Ruff-Cycles aluminum frame

Hopefully, if it ever happens I want to record a step-by-step video and later another product review

I hope this video will help your purchase decision

If you have any questions concerning this frame feel free to contact me

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - S03E18 - Episode Review - Duration: 7:05.

Welcome to Ranger Reviews, a webseries where we look at episodes of the tv show, Power

Rangers and then discuss it!

Today, we're exploring the hundred and thirtieth episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as

well as the eighteenth episode of Season 3, titled "A Ranger Catastrophe Part 2".

We begin this episode right where we left off in the Command Center.

The five rangers don't know what to do between Rito and Tommy.

Zordon says that they can't locate Tommy, and suddenly, Tommy goes unconscious, and

they lose the signal.

Kat then teleports out of there, turning back into a cat in Rita's lap.

Rita says they have the White Ranger right where they want him.

Goldar asks if he can fight Tommy, and Zedd lies, saying that Goldar has earned that right.

No he hasn't.

Goldar leaves.

In a random cave, Goldar walks up to Tommy, just talking and talking to a sleeping Tommy.

In the Command Center, Zordon tells the Rangers to stop worrying about Tommy because they

need to stop Rito.

It's morphin' time!

The five Rangers show up in a field, and they talk to a giant Rito for no reason before

Rito just breathes on them?

Whatever, they call out their Ninjazords, and once again, we're getting individual

Zords fighting!

The bear zord causes an earthquake while the frog shoots fire.

The crane shoots lasers while the ape zord uses a staff, but then Rito materializes a

flame thrower on his arm out of nowhere?

They don't let Billy do a damn thing, immediately forming the Ninja Megazord.

The Megazord then just walks through explosions before they apparently just knock off Rito's

arm?

Then they punch him down, and Rocky makes an outdated honeymooners reference by saying

"to the moon, Rito".

Rito appears in the moon base, and Rita is confused for a moment, but then she just gives

up trying to understand what happened.

Way to go, Rita.

She then says it's time for plan B.

In the Command Center, they've tried to retrace the signal from Tommy's communicator,

but evidently, there's a powerful shield to prevent them from learning where Tommy

is at.

Then, Tommy wakes up, seeing Goldar.

The car then disappears, dropping him on his ass in the best way.

Then, Rita appears in a horrible staticy filter that does more harm than good because it's

blocking a lot of Rita's face while she's trying to talk.

Tommy demands to know where Katherine is at, and Rita says to be careful because Kimberly

might be jealous because he's spending so much time with some other girl.

Then, Tommy just morphs.

Rita disappears, and Goldar yells at Tommy.

Billy somehow gets a visual on Tommy, and the Rangers see what's going on, and Adam

says "what's going on?" because there's literally nothing happening.

They also don't know where that girl went.

Then, Aisha says that Goldar probably wants Tommy at full strength to fight, but that's

makes zero sense.

They also can't teleport him out because shields or whatever.

Billy says he and Adam need to get to his lab to figure out something.

Tommy and Goldar fight for a little bit before we see on the moon that Baboo and Squatt are

informing Rita of Billy and Adam leaving the Command Center and going toward Billy's

house.

These guys really need something better to do with their lives than watching teenage

boys.

Rita says it's time to enact plan B, I guess, and she zaps the cat she's been holding

this entire time, creating a Cat Monster in the park.

The monster then flies in, landing in front of Billy and Adam who morph right away.

There's a funny fight against the monster with Blue and Black getting thrown into trees

like losers.

Billy then calls the other Rangers for help because this episode needs more padding out,

and the other three morph.

Now, the five Rangers are just fighting the monster in the middle of a cul-de-sac.

They barely fend off the monster before she retreats.

The Rangers split up to do exactly what they were doing before.

On the moon, Rita is pissed that even Plan B isn't working this time, so she yells

for Rito.

He's supposed to go help Goldar defeat Tommy now, walking away.

Meanwhile, Tommy gets tossed onto the ground, and Rito shows up, and they're both beating

the crap out of Tommy.

I love this scene.

Also, where has THIS Goldar been?

Tommy even takes out Saba and tries to fight them off, but then, Saba gets hit out of his

hands.

Meanwhile, Rocky, Aisha, and Kim are watching Tommy get demolished, so they contact Billy

and Adam who are still working on whatever the hell it is they're working on.

Then….

Tommy somehow telekinesises Saba to him or something?

I don't know.

Saba doesn't say anything.

It just… happens.

Billy and Adam are done so they teleport back to the Command Center, and Billy quickly hooks

up his new device to the console, and it gives them the coordinates somehow?

They've apparently penetrated the shields around the palace or something, but they have

to try because if they don't, they're going to die.

Meanwhile, Saba apologizes to Tommy about them sucking, and really, I feel like Saba

is so underutilized.

Then, in the Command Center, everyone holds hands???

And causes color coded energy?

What the hell is going on?

Somehow, that teleports Tommy out of there, and he's in the Command Center.

Tommy is worried about Katherine, but Billy says they can't find her at all.

Rita and Zedd argue about the plan failing, and Katherine walks in, answering to Lord

Zedd before she turns into her monster form again.

He immediately sends her away.

At the Command Center, the alarms go off, showing the Rangers that the monster is back

in the park.

It's morphin' time!

The Rangers show up, and the monster talks shit for a second before Rita and Zedd just

make her giant.

They call out their Ninjazords right away before Ninjor just flies in on a cloud while

screaming his own name, and it made me literally laugh out loud.

They form the Ninja Megazord while Ninjor punches the monster in the face.

Then, Ninjor gets… mad about her not being able to win or something, converting into

Battle Mode.

Then, the Ninja Falconzord attaches, creating the Ninja Falcon Megazord.

Ninjor fires an energy orb at the monster before the Rangers just come down, punching

the monster in the face.

She then falls down, exploding.

Did they… did they just kill that girl?

The Rangers leave their Zords right away for absolutely no reason, unmorphing.

They find Katherine in the park, who apparently didn't get crushed during the Megazord battle.

I mean, I know she was the monster, but the Rangers don't know that.

Also, did she just watch them jump down and demorph?

Whatever.

Zedd talks about how Rita might have been right about using Kat to help them, and we

see the Rangers and Kat walking together.

She tells them that she just moved her because her dad was transferred here and whatnot before

she leaves.

She then flirts with Tommy in front of Kim, and no one even says anything.

Then, suddenly, they see PC in front of them, and Aisha is relieved to have her.

Then, we see the cat's face, and her eyes glow green?

The… end?

Over the credits, we see Bulk and Skull struggle through the park, screaming for cat, and they

find the monster, fainting.

I'm confused if these were just bonus scenes or what.

Wow, a two-parter that ends without everything be resolved may be a first for Power Rangers.

Seriously, I can't think of a time besides maybe Return of an Old Friend where something

was left open in the universe for multiple episodes like this.

Kind of nice to see some real writing being put into this season!

Other than that, I'm confused about Kat as a character because she has so many forms,

and for some reason, she seems to be intended by Rita to break up Kim and Tommy, but like,

why does Rita care.

They'll still fight together because they're barely a couple now anyways.

Buckle your seat belt though because we're about to go into a three-parter!

Until next time, may the power protect you!

Uncle Drew: Movie Review - Duration: 1:03.

Does Uncle Drew score a slam dunk for kids?

"Swish!"

Let's just say there's nothing too iffy to worry about.

"Don't do him like that, Uncle Drew!"

NBA star Kyrie Irving stars in this basketball comedy about a senior citizen who rounds up

his old team to compete in a street-ball tournament.

"Drew's putting the squad back together!"

For the most part, Uncle Drew keeps the laughs family-friendly.

That said, be ready for some racy jokes, kissing, and a few sexual references.

Language-wise, there's one use of the S-word and S.O.B., plus other mild insults.

"Hold my nuts."

"Hold your nuts?"

Bottom line: This fun underdog story has worthwhile messages about teamwork

and taking risks to achieve your goals.

"You don't stop playing because you get old."

"You get old because you stop playing."

Common Sense says Uncle Drew is OK for kids 11 and up.

How To Do A Mid-Year Review | An Action Plan Overcoming Personal Obstacles To Achieve Your Goals - Duration: 9:41.

Mid-year review time!

Stick around because I am showing you how to re-evaluate your goals and the progress you're making towards them,

how to identify what is holding you back and how you can overcome it,

and how to make a plan of action for the second half of the year so that, come December,

you can put a big ol' tick beside those tasks, and they don't just keep rolling forward year after year.

You know the ones I'm talking about.

Let's go.

[music]

Hi guys, it's Laura from HowToGYST and I help you get organised, get motivated, and get back on track.

So maybe you made yourself a resolution or two at the beginning of the year

and maybe you have even made some strides towards them.

But now that we are halfway through the year, are they still thriving... or just barely surviving?

Here is the step-by-step process that I use to keep myself on track.

And I have 16 resolutions this year so believe me, I need to keep on top of them.

Taking each goal in turn, the first thing to do is to remind yourself why that goal is so important to you.

And don't be surprised if you realise that it's actually not important to you after all,

or maybe you have moved on from it. Maybe you have bigger priorities now.

You are not the same person you were back in January, so don't sweat it if some of your goals seem silly or insignificant now. That's a good thing.

You know, by getting rid of all of the goals that no longer have meaning for you, you are clearing the way for the goals that will truly change your life.

Sometimes the purpose of a goal is not to achieve it, it's just to make you realise that that thing really isn't important to you.

If you keep making the same resolution year after year, then guess what?

It really isn't a priority for you.

And that's not to say that it won't become a priority for you. That it won't get bumped up the list.

But for now, you can let it go.

Start by eliminating, or even just postponing, anything that doesn't fit into your life right now.

That will save you a lot of time and energy.

You can also tweak your goals if you need to.

So maybe something required a little bit more time than you initially anticipated, or a lot more research,

in which case you can move the goal posts a little bit closer.

Or maybe you find yourself in that lucky position where you have already hit your target, or are just about to,

in which case you can either tick it off, mark it as done, or you can stretch it that little bit further.

For the goals that are left, if any at all, you want to write down a quick summary of where you're at right now, and the progress that you have made.

It can be really difficult to see progress in the day to day, but when you step back and look at a whole 6 months, you may actually be surprised by how far you've come.

Even if you are not where you thought you'd be, or not where you'd like to be, it's still really important to acknowledge and celebrate those little wins.

Too much beating yourself down; not enough lifting yourself up.

Before moving on, really take some time to soak up your success, no matter how insignificant it may seem,

because sometimes just giving yourself a pat on the back for the small stuff

is the thing that's going to give you the strength of spirit and the morale boost that you need to tackle the big stuff.

The next thing to do, then, is to acknowledge the areas in which you have struggled.

We all face obstacles and challenges. That is just a part of life.

If it were all easy, everyone would be doing it and it wouldn't mean anything anymore.

It wouldn't be as special or as sacred. You wouldn't get to feel any sense of satisfaction out of it.

So own your struggles. You can grow from them.

Write down what you struggled with and why. So maybe it was a lack of time or energy.

Maybe a lack of support from loved ones or colleagues.

Maybe it was a lack of money or other resources.

Whatever the reason, write it down.

In our heads, problems can seem so much bigger than they actually are.

You know, our minds are limitless. We can obsess over a problem day and night until it turns into this big, huge thing that seems insurmountable.

But if you get it down on paper, that is it. It's confined to one or two sentences.

It's also easier to grapple with something and to understand it when you can put words on it.

So when something is swirling around your head and you are, you know, snatching at different words and phrases and thoughts and ideas,

it can turn into this huge snowball. You know, this huge, unstoppable, horrible force.

But again, when you can clarify it and put it down on paper, that is as big as it can get.

You can also jot down struggles that you are likely to face in the second half of the year.

So maybe you have to tighten your belt money-wise. Maybe you've got another kid on the way. Maybe one of your family members just got sick.

So write down your current as well as your reasonably foreseeable struggles.

Note how I said "reasonably foreseeable", not just every single thing that could possibly, potentially go wrong.

Your goals are standing trial here so your struggles need to be beyond a reasonable doubt.

At this stage it's also a really good idea to write down all of the obstacles that you have actually managed to overcome and how you did it.

So, what have you learned from the experience thus far that will stand you in good stead going forward?

Remember that lessons are often masked as mistakes so dig deep and I bet you will uncover some knowledge.

Next then is to brainstorm the solutions to those struggles.

So if it's a lack of time, could you get up a few minutes earlier in the morning? Or ask someone to help out with child care, even if it's only for an hour a week.

Could you watch half an hour less of TV on the weekend?

Most of our problems have clear solutions. You know, it might not always be easy to implement them.

It might take some discipline. But the first step is to identify them.

Once you know how to solve a problem it becomes a lot harder to tell yourself you can't do something.

So what is something you could do to overcome at the obstacle you're facing?

And try to keep it fairly straightforward. If it's too complicated, you won't stick with it. Simplest is best.

Now look at each goal and ask yourself, what is the next small step, or series of steps, that will move you forward?

What is the thing that you could do today – right now – that would move you closer to where you want to be?

Could you ask somebody a question? Could you Google something?

Could you open a savings account? Or could you maybe set an alert or a reminder on your phone?

Something small. You might be able to think of loads of little things you could do. That's great, write them all down.

But pick at least one small action that you can do today. Give yourself a small milestone that you can aim for, and make is as easy as possible to get there.

Like I said, it's all about the small wins.

The final thing you'll do as part of your mid-year review is to decide if there is anything else you would like to add to your list of goals.

I said at the beginning that you would likely eliminate a lot, if not all, of your goals because your priorities have shifted over the first half of the year.

So now is the time to sit down and re-evaluate what is truly important to you right now, and to decide if there is anything that you feel that is really worth working towards.

If there is, write it down. Then go back over the exercise.

You know, noting down any reasonably foreseeable obstacles that you may face and how you plan to overcome them,

as well as the next small series of steps that will jumpstart your progress.

Once you have finished the exercise, you should have a very clear vision of what's important to you right now,

as well as the progress you have already made (and hopefully you've given yourself a well-deserved pat on the back for that).

You'll know how to circumvent any struggles, and you will also have a plan of action for how you are going to proceed.

There are still 6 months left to make this year amazing, so get reviewing and, come the new year, reap the rewards.

If you are looking for even more motivation to help you smash those goals, something that is going to push you towards the finish line,

then I have put together a short playlist of videos that include lots of tips and tricks, and lots of support to help get you there.

You can go check that out right now.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh, agus feicfidh mé sibhse go luath. Slán.

Chiropractic Adjustment Review - Balance Chiropractic - Fargo, ND - Duration: 1:28.

(laughing) Hi, this is Dr. Daniel here with Sherri.

She's been a long time patient of chiropractic.

First with Dr. Schulte for many years and now with me at Balance Chiropractic, and we

take really good care of her.

She has a fairly laborious job and so take good care of her, and keep her back maintained

and working well for her.

I'll just turn it over to her to have her share her story with you.

Well, I do have a very labored job.

I clean homes and my lower back has a tendency of giving me problems just from doing that

work.

It's important, it's important to take care of your back, and your legs and your neck.

I just feel like coming here has improved me tremendously.

Like he said, I used to go to Dr. Schulte.

Started coming here and everyday I feel pretty darn good.

It's a nice atmosphere here, it's very relaxed.

They take very good care of you, and if I didn't come I think I'd be hurting.

It's a good thing.

Alright, great, thank you so much Sherri!

Raise your hand if you're excited about Instagram TV.

I love vertical video.

Welcome to psych irl.

My name is Donna and let's talk about Instagram TV.

After reaching 1 billion active users, on June 20th, 2018 Instagram announced their

latest feature, Instagram TV.

What exactly is Instagram TV?

In short, it's a way to watch long form vertical videos (up to one hour long) on your

phone. It's simple.

If you already have an Instagram account, you don't need to worry about a thing.

You'll be notified when one of your favorite creators uploads a video and you can watch

it natively on the instagram app.

However if you want to be a creator, you'll need to download the Instagram TV app.

Many have called this new feature YouTube's biggest competition, and with good reason.

So youtube isn't the first video platform on the internet, but it can be argued that

it's one of the biggest.

So, naturally people are going to compare instagram tv to youtube.

To add even more fuel to the fire to why the two are being compared, at a San Francisco

press conference held by Instagram, Instagram didn't mention Youtube's name at all, but

it was clear who instagram's criticisms were directed at.

Today we still watch videos formatted for a TV on a vertical screen, which means we

either have to rotate our phone awkwardly or watch a tiny little version and that doesn't

make much sense does it?

Current apps make you search or browse a directory to find things you like.

When was the last time you had to turn on a TV and then had to type in a search just

to start watching and even once you know what to watch, the results can be really overwhelming.

How can you find all the good stuff?

So in summation what differentiates, IGTV from other video platforms is that it's

specifically built for how you use your phone.

It also wants to make the search for finding good content easier by showing you videos

from creators you already follow, and creators you may like based on the patterns of your

interests.

Second, Instagram or Facebook aka Mark Zuckerberg (because Facebook owns Instagram) is notorious

for copying tech companies.

In August of 2016, Instagram launched a feature called stories which is virtually identical

to Snapchat stories.

Though Snapchat still thrives, its growth has slowed down while Instagram's has risen

ever since the release of the new feature.

And In November of 2016, the company released a live video feature imitating the features

of periscope which is now owned by Twitter.

So, will history repeat itself and will this feature be the cause of YouTube's growth

declining?

In my opinion, probably not.

There are a couple things that make video platforms in terms of social media successful.

Feedback and uniqueness.

Feedback is essential for any social media platform to thrive.

Though many of us say, it's not about the likes or the comments.

It's exactly about the likes and comments.

Every notification from a like on our photo sends a spike of dopamine to our brains.

Because of that, we're encouraged to do it all over again.

See what our friends are posting.

Post something of our own.

Get likes.

Repeat.

Instant social interaction.

Instant gratification.

Both YouTube and Instagram receive 5 stars for this one.

Uniqueness is one of the most important factors in how a video platform rises.

Vine for example set the parameters for creators to only post videos that were 7 seconds long.

At face value, that sounds like a terrible idea.

But because of those parameters creators were forced to tell a narrative within 7 seconds,

and this resulted in an abundance of creativity.

There is only one thing worse than a Rap...boom.

A child.

NO.

Musically...well you know.

Even though a lot of unique video platforms have popped up over the years, none have really

come close to threatening YouTube.

These unique platforms have served as just another type of video platform, and not really

a YouTube replacement.

This is how I see Instagram TV.

A better analogy would be comparing them to Fast Food.

YouTube is like McDonalds and Instagram TV is like Taco Bell.

Sometimes, you feel like a burger and sometimes you feel like a taco.

People don't always crave one food forever.

A YouTube competitor would be like Burger King.

Two platforms fighting for your attention when you have your burger craving.

What makes YouTube so special and so unique is that it's integrated with Google.

It's a search engine.

When was the last time you searched something on Bing or Yahoo?

When you look up things like "how to tie a tie", you can find the text version on Google

and you can probably find video tutorial version on YouTube.

But YouTube is not without any flaws.

There are many critiques its user base have of it.

The first is that it prioritizes advertisers instead of creators and therefore the platform

is censored due to the fact that YouTube will demonetize or remove content that isn't

advertiser friendly.

The basic thesis of the video is that youtube doesn't do enough to support their community,

that is creators on the platform.

Another critique is that the algorithm is horrible.

A lot of creators and viewers feel like they don't have control over some areas of YouTube

such as notifications not working, the subscription area not working, and it all feels like an

algorithm is in control of what users see.

They're finally taking sub feed.

It was the last thing we had, the last sacred place youtube had that wasn't optimized.

Unfortunately Instagram TV doesn't resolve any of the issues people who are usually critical

of youtube list.

In terms of advertising and censorship, instagram will probably be just as strict because they

want more dollars on their platform.

In fact how they monetize right now is kind of unclear.

creators can monetize if they're part of a select group that Instagram chooses.

Basically people who can drive traffic onto the platform.

You can also monetize through sponsored posts and affiliate links, like on YouTube.

In terms of the algorithm, it's more reliant on the algorithm so you have even less control.

It's like flipping through a TV, but what channels you see next are determined by what

you've liked in the past and maybe the patterns of your friends.

Will that change in the future?

Perhaps, but for now search is very limited.

So now the biggest question is, does Instagram's uniqueness of high quality, long form, vertical

video have enough of a novelty to make it big?

Alright let's review some content on here.

Books cool.

Simple Soaked Crushing.

Quality.

See I think these videos are what instagram tv is good for.

These talking head videos because there's not much movement.

For the vlog videos, I can't really see it happening because vlogs are so dynamic and

there's always something going on and it's better with wide screen but with this, I think

this is what Instagram TV is meant for.

Cheating the system here.

I actually think Instagram TV is not good for sports videos because as you can see when

he's throwing the ball you don't know how far he's throwing or when he's catching the

ball you don't know how far that ball is coming from.

The action doesn't feel as engaging as a horizontal video.

Just my opinion.

I'm not sure what I've watched or what photos I've liked to make instagram think that this

is the kind of content I like.

Music could be another thing that this is good for, so I like this a lot.

ok.

Another horizontal video that just...Fashion Nova?

So now to sum up my final thoughts.

I have bullet points here so that's why I'm looking down.

So, this isn't the new platform that will save some creators from demonetization.

In my opinion it's even more selective.

In YouTube where it's clear and you need a certain amount of subscribers or a certain

amount of followers, with this it's instagram who selects who is monetized.

Will that change in the future?

Perhaps.

My second point is that vertical video is great for short updates.

That's why I like Instagram stories so much.

It's like a Twitter for video and photo.

I like it because you don't have to flip your phone horizontally.

It's just your friends videos or photos vertically and you just swipe through them, but i don't

know if I can watch an hour long video of that especially if the video is something

dynamic like a vlog or a sports thing.

I don't know if I can watch that.

If it was a talking head thing just like this, then that yes is something I can watch but

something that can really change the game for this is if they do something like vine.

People were able to create something creative out of 7 seconds.

With this, I think what can make this really succeed is if people find a way to shoot something

that only vertical video can give you, something that can't be given with the horizontal standard

way of video.

What that is though?

I don't know.

That's the end of the video.

So, what do you think about instagram tv?

Do you like it?

Do you hate it?

Have you already started uploading content on it?

That's the end of the video...okay I already said that.

Stay psyched.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - REVIEW (Nintendo Switch) - Duration: 6:37.

Panic Button did the impossible last year and ported DOOM to the Switch.

One of the greatest shooters of all time and one that was built from the ground up for

PS4 and Xbox one.

Sure the frame rate and resolution were pretty much cut in half but to have a current gen

game running on a what's essentially a handheld shows just how far we've come.

And they've done it again with Wolfenstein 2 the New Colossus.

Depsite adoring The New Order, I actually let the sequel get by during the initial release

so the Switch version was my first exposure to the nazi killing follow up and man am I

floored.

The New Colossus ramps up the tension, the stakes and creates a more personal journey

with one of the most hateful antagonists I've come across in a shooter.

While DOOM went for the shooter now, ask questions later approach, Wolfenstein is a far more

linear style of story telling and it's surprisingly gripping, even if at times ridiculous.

There are so many effective moments though that draw direct parallels with racists and

Nazis.

See, Wolfenstein takes place in an alternate history where Nazis won World War 2 and while

some fight back, others embrace the dictatorship.

It creates some really uncomfortable scenarios, especially in scenes where all you can do

is sit back and watch.

The story really is a highlight of The New Colossus and it constantly throws all this

built up tension at you only to then let you storm out and just destroy everyone.

You can probably tell that I like the game which means the port must be good, right?

And yeah absolutely, Panic Button have managed to take a game visually more diverse than

DOOM and bring it over to Switch with seemingly better results.

During normal and intense fire fights I didn't even notice frame rate drops, what I did notice

though is the image quality getting a tad blurry in scenarios with heavy fog and smoke

effects.

It feels like the prioritised frame rate and it really works out for the best.

I actually recommend playing this in handheld mode as the lower resolution actually looks

pretty good on the smaller screen though docked is nothing to be scoffed at.

This is one of the best looking games on Switch.

Moments like this with floorboards flying everywhere don't even seem to make the Switch

sweat which is amazing.

But it's not just all about visuals.

Those who stuck around with DOOM know that it was eventually patched with gyro controls

and man did that change things.

Now here's one little issue popped up which could be a big issue if you aren't aware.

When I first started playing Wolfenstein the menu was completely static, like I couldn't

move up or down and the only inputs it was recongise were A and B. So I could start the

game but I couldn't adjust anything.

It wasn't until around 6 hours in that I found a work around.

For whatever reason I needed to reboot my Switch from scratch, for a fellow journalist

at Nintendo Life, they only had to do it once.

I had to do it four times though.

No idea why this is the case and hopefully it's patched by the time you guys get your

hands on the game but now that it's working, the issue has never popped up again.

While a weird glitch, it actually came with a perk.

I played half the game without gyro and the other half with gyro and boy do I appreciate

that second half even more.

Gyro controls let you make such small refinements to your aim and is honestly comparable to

a keyboard and mouse.

They've pretty much become a control standard for the Switch at this point and if playing

Wolfenstein on the go wasn't a selling point for you?

Gyro should be, it's a game changer.

All this makes Wolfenstein 2 not only a great Switch port but gives it perks over other

versions.

Sure if visuals are what you care about, go for last year's originals but it's insanely

impressive what they've pulled off on such small hardware.

Wolfenstein isn't just your average world war 2 shooter.

Having lost the ability to walk, BJ Blatzkowitz relies on a special suit that makes him a

borderline super soldier, this lets him rampage around at high speeds and dual wield just

about any weapon regardless of how heavy it is.

The sheer amount of combat options is staggering, you can take it slow and deal with all the

Nazis with stealth, you can stay behind cover and lean out dealing with them one by one

or you can run and gun and use their own weapons against them.

The game even incentivises you to mix up playstyles with perks rewarded for performing different

actions with different setups.

Whether you're sneaking around with a silenced pistol or painting the walls with dual shotguns,

every single blast feels good and the emotional story makes each character feel justified.

BJ isn't an angry man, he's a sad one who's been put down by Nazi's his entire

life, even by his American father.

Some levels are bombastic and huge and others are calm and small.

Wolfenstein is an emotional rollercoaster and the unpredictability always made me want

to see what was next.

There were so many moments where I thought "How the heck is he gonna get out of this

one" and the answer is rarely what you think it'll be.

The Nazis are overwhelmingly powerful newly developed weaponry and cybersuits but perhaps

more powerful than that is simply looking at the environments and seeing remains of

a world on the edge of defeat.

There's a ton of lore to uncover in The New Colossus that tell a much deeper story

than what's on the surface.

Inbetween levels you'll even return to what can be considered a HUB where every single

character changes and develops as the game goes on.

You can even go into their rooms and learn what they're all about.

Wolfenstein The New Colossus nails its atmosphere, it nails the gunplay and always gives you

the motivation to push on.

This is a purely a single player shooter but I think it more than justifies it.

There are times where Wolfenstein would remind me of Half Life only with a less friendly

robot dogs and Nazis.

With the reboots of DOOM and Wolfenstein we're in a new brilliant era of single player shooters

and it's remarkable that both franchises are back on a Nintendo platform for the first

time in over a decade.

Wolfenstein's definitely more sentimental than DOOM but it justifies all the story and

emotional depth with the payoff of bringing Nazis to their knees.

This is a powerful game and just about every element feels good.

Despite the issue with having to restart my Switch a few times to get the menu working,

the port feels brilliant, I did run into one glitch where I took the camera anywhere I

wanted and tried to find secrets and new discoveries in some of our favourite games, but that seemed

like a weird exception that probably exists in other versions too.

There just aren't that many first person shooters on Switch and when we get some as

well made as this, it's hard not to appreciate all the effort and polish squeezed into every

level.

The game lastest me around 8 hours but there's still so many secrets to go back and find

to the point where I only cleared it with a 38% completion rate.

I loved Wolfenstein the New Colossus.

There may be some downgrades visually but purely in terms of how it plays, I had an

even better time with this than The New Order and was consistently floored that that Switch

could pull off such a feat.
