Marvel Firsts The 1990s Marvel Omnibus Review Hardcover Book Marvel Comics - Duration: 19:52.

This is a Marvel Omnibus review and it's called Marvel Firsts the 1990s show the

back of the dust jacket cover here the cover price of this volume is $125 it

seems the Omnibus price range is going up from $99 to hundred

twenty five dollars in their volumes this is the inner jacket here this is

pretty nice that when you take off the dust jacket you see the inside cover

here it's the same thing this might be something new maybe this is a new idea

just put all the covers in the back and make the inside cover of the hardcover

books the same as the outside this looks very nice here I should mention that

even though it 125 dollars the only reason I bought this book was

because it was $36 on Amazon that's right super cheap about 1/4 of the price

almost of what of what this book should sell for retail so $125 get it for 36

and that's what I'm judging this review on in terms of how much I paid for it and

I think is a fantastic volume one thing to notice is there is no like

introductory page other than the content listings it goes right into it and

there's no material in the back you know extras this is really a mish mash of

1990s First Appearance and First Issues for a bunch of characters and that's

what this is it's not storylines its first issues only or first appearances

and there's so much to get to here Ghost Rider number one Deathlok

number one, New Warriors, Captain America annual nine, Foolkiller, Darkhawk

Sleepwalker, X-force one, X-factor 71, Warlock and the Infinity Watch two

Silver Sable and the Wildpack Terror Inc Night Thrasher, Darkhold, Night Stalker

Spider-Man 2099, Venom lethal protector series Cable, Web of Spider-Man 100

Deadpool, Thunderstrike, Gambit, Marvel Comics Presents, War Machine

Blackwulf, Force Works, Marvel Comics Presents issue played, Generation X

Fantastic Force, Web of Spider-Man, Bishop, X-men, Elektra

Green Goblin, Captain Marvel, Tales on the Marvel

Universe, Heroes for Hire, Maverick, Quicksilver

Spider-Girl, Slingers, Spider Woman

again Deathlok, Warlock so basically as

mentioned this is a real mish mash book of comics all over the place from the

1990s one thing to notice is Ghost Rider this is the 1990s version as I

look at this I thought you know they don't have it yet and hopefully they'll

make it but the Ghost Rider 1990s deserves an Omnibus for the first 25

issues or so were fantastic, fantastic art fantastic writing after about issue 25

the art and then the storylines really got bad

so the first 25 issues of Ghost Rider were amazing

and deserve its own omnibus and I'm not sure why it hasn't happened yet because

it was a fantastic run and a real popular character for the first few years and so thats

Ghost Rider and can see you know just looking at this makes you

want a Ghost Rider vol I'm just surprised we don't have it yet you got a Deathlok

volume here you know there's a whole bunch of stuff to get through here the

New Warriors that was another popular 1990s comic book title Foolkiller this

character never really was popular in the 1990s very limited appeal the art is all

over the place because some art is really good and some art is not good at

all so is the writing in terms of quality Darkhawk this was who Marvel bet on

to be one of the popular stars of the 90s thought they would it would take

off as a character but it never really did it never became a fan favorite

character that the Marvel wanted it to be but it just wasn't case but with that

said Darkhawk the first about twenty issues or so were really good in terms

of the story the art and the mystery of the character after about the 20 issue

range or so the art and then story quality went downhill so same thing with

Ghost Rider I think Darkhawk deserves an omnibus for

the first couple of years worth of stories and then it got wasn't too good

of a character anymore Sleepwalker was never really a popular character from

the get go it just wasn't popular really it never

really took a hold in the community and the art really wasn't that great

compare the art of Darkhawk and Ghost Rider to this and you'll see a huge

difference in quality

X-force already got an omnibus of the Liefeld stuff and it was popular 90s

book I could see why they put it here but if you got the X-force omnibus

this is just an extra issue you don't need but I can see why they put it here

so was that 1990s X-factor was when they rebooted it with a new set and

creative team and characters so this was that start Warlock and Infinity Watch it

was funny and they start with issue 2 and not issue 1 and this is when the

team formed what everyone got a gem or an infinity stone as they call it now

and this was after the Infinity Gauntlet storyline Silver Sable and the Wildpack

yeah she had her own title in the 1990s for a bit Night Thrasher in his spinoff

series again I'm not going through the whole volume every issue or every page

or every storyline the Darkhold this is the midnight sons 1990s where they tried

to tie Ghost Rider character with other supernatural characters under an

umbrella term called the Midnight Sons

Nightstalkers again part at Midnight Sons library of characters and you have

Blade in their Spider-Man 2099 that was another 1990s character set in the

future or an alternate future Venom his first his first solo series and some

really good art yeah and they do have a Venom omnibus

with a whole bunch of those mini series including this Cable 1990s solo series

Thunderstrike a character was really popular for a bit but again like most of

these 1990s heroes most of them not all but a good majority of them

they started strong and they had a good couple of years worth and yet the

character never got a foothold that they became a mainstay really popular or

lasted you know some characters last and get really popular and some don't

or they're only popular for a bit and then they fade away and that's

Thunderstrike that's Sleepwalker that's Darkhawk and that's like Night

Thrasher characters were popular for a bit but just they don't have it you know

they're not the A listers don't know why that is but that's just the way it is in

comics you know Gambit solo series this was a mini series originally actually

something like this is a good test awards preview to get the appetite of

the fans you know what do you want to see as an omnibus to get a good run War

Machine this was solo series I like the armor

this was a good armor design you know it looks a lot like Iron Man's, Blackwulf

this was a character that never got popular and I think they also had like

some UK crossover appeal with what they were publishing their Marvel in the

1990s Force Works this was supposed to be a replacement for the West Coast

Avengers and it never really got super popular it lasted only for a couple of

years and it's basically the West Coast Avengers under a different name

even though had that nice Iron Man 300 armor that was when this started out and

they had a character US Agent with a terrible costume and had a new character

that they were trying to get popular called I think Century and this

character again like I'd mentioned 1990s characters that they tried to get

popular and this character never took off you know unlike some characters like

Sleepwalker or Darkawk who had limited appeal for a couple of years this

character was never popular to begin with Generation X again another 1990s

title that was popular for a couple of years but never really took off and

became something that was a mainstay if you notice it's a common theme in this

review Fantastic Force this was supposed to be a spin-off group from the

Fantastic Four and it was never really popular it was sort of just there but

never had a strong foothold or fan following from the beginning and it just

again another failed idea I would say is this Fantastic Force

1990s this was a good issue right here and that was Ben Riley the spider clone

in his Scarlet Spider costume this was the first appearance of it fantastic

cover stand out from the 90s and that's when the clone went solo and his first

storyline was to take on Venom and again back then they thought what Ben Riley

was made the real Spider-Man and they had switched it later and they were trying

to make him the permanent one so is that whole confusing storyline Bishop

you see unlike other characters had previously mentioned that didn't get

popular or last Bishop was a character who lasted and still has a certain level

of popularity and even from the first appearance he had it he was a character

that had some lasting appeal in terms of the comic books unlike say Sleepwalker

or Darkhawk for example X-man this was a character who was the Age of

Apocalypse who would be Cable without the techno virus X-man for the first

couple of years was really popular it really was a good book good art and

story but like I'd mentioned when you look back on it like a Sleepwalker like

a Darkhawk like a Night Trasher X-man where is he now what impact does he

have at Marvel Comics now it's like no he's not a factor anymore it's just not again

some characters have this appeal to last like a Gambit like a Bishop like a Cable

and some character just popular for a couple of years and then they don't have

it anymore they just don't have a lasting impact at all oh don't get me

wrong you'll see them appear once in a while some writer will bring them back

some artists but they just don't have a foothold in the community that's what

I'm saying and Elektra you see this is a

character who lasted from the 1980s actually you see compare X-man who I

just mentioned to Elektra in terms of fan appeal and lasting popularity

Daredevil 1990s armor looking back on it it's not as bad as you thought

but back then people didn't like that armor Green Goblin this was a really fun

and a good series where they had a new character take over the costume but when

they were gonna bring back Norman Osborn to end the Clone Saga then this

character had to go but again nice idea just wrong costume and wrong legacy to

take up Captain Marvel 1990s the male version and this later became Genis

Captain Marvel and his character didn't last either 1990s this was the first

appearance of the Thunderbolts and this team did last even though the title is

around and they get mentioned the original team it's never been quite the

same ever again Maverick number one this was a character in 1990s spin-off

from the X-men world with a Wolverine connected to and Sabretooth as I

mentioned you know one of those characters that might still be around

but it's never been as popular again as those 1990s appearance Quicksilver

and solo book and an ugly costume that's that's not a good costume

an the art not too appealing consider some of the really good art that you've

seen before and this doesn't quite live up to some of the other artists in

this volume I'm not even sure why Quicksilver got a solo series

Spider-Girl I would have preferred if they put the What If first appearance

for Spider Girl but they didn't they start it with our first issue solo just

kind of odd and but that was a good run for the first few years the Spider Girl

title Slingers this is Wizard issue actually Spider Woman and so this is

it this is that 1990s volume most of this volume does not have page numbers on the

bottom so it's hard to skip along and get to which issue you want when there's

no page number at the bottom really to follow up on but I think this is over a

thousand pages from what I saw online so to get this volume this 1990s mish mash

book of Marvel Firsts of Marvel Firsts the 1990s Omnibus I think this does have

some appeal as a book definitely not $125 worth of appeal and I don't even

think it's worth $75 to be honest but if you could get this I would say for $50

or less and preferably about the $40 range or less

I think it's worth it for about one-third the cover price or less but

that's about it I wouldn't pay fifty or a hundred and for this mix and mash of a

volume I would say just about $40 range overall give or take is the ideal price

point if you want this volume and so that's the review and so that's Marvel

Omnibus Marvel Firsts the 1990s Omnibus let me know what you think if

you liked it or not and so that's the review and thanks for watching

Test drive review: Mercedes Benz C-Class 2019 (subs) - Duration: 10:00.

Hello, today we present the Mercedes C-Class facelift.

At first, when I saw it, it was very difficult for me to understand what is new,

although Mercedes-Benz claims that the new parts and components in the car are all 6500.

However, with a closer look, you will see that the headlights are quite different.

They are equipped with Mercedes Multibeam LED technology

and they are unbelievable.

They have 650 meters range.

That's why Mercedes claims to outperform its competitors in the premium German trio,

who are betting on laser technology.

Whose range is from 500-550 to 600 meters.

Each headlamp has 84 individually moving elements,

who constantly monitor the traffic situation.

They move so that they do not dazzle other participants in the traffic and illuminate different objects.

When driving at night it is good your headlights to be constantly at high beams.

You will not have absolutely no problem with dazzle because

the light beam moves according to traffic,

if there is a place where a car would dazzle, it goes out

or shifting to countries. Everything else remains perfectly illuminated from the high beam.

Exceptional lights that greatly enhance safety.

Otherwise there are no big changes in the exterior.

The car continues to look phenomenal.

The new design language of Mercedes-Benz has the ability to tickle connoisseurs of automotive aesthetics.

There are no novelties in the back,

Besides this new light signature.

Previously, there were some smooth lines,

now you see a bit more dynamic look.

The interior of the new C-Class is one of its strongest features.

It retains the beautiful and elegant layout of his predecessor,

but this screen is new that has become bigger.

And this board has become completely digital here.

With different customization options.

The circular ventilation openings in the airplane style are preserved,

which are quite pleasing to the eye.

Everything underneath is in a piano varnish.

Wonderfully styled interior.

Creating a pretty luxurious feel.

One of the advantages of the C-Class

to its direct premium competitors

is the relatively good interior space.

I am 190 cm tall.

The driver seat is set to my height.

Right now I'm sitting behind me.

And you see ...

My legs are on the front seat, the place is not abundant,

but it is relatively comfortable.

New in Mercedes models,

which is already in the C-Class facelift,

is this Mercedes me app.

This allows you to check the state of the vehicle from a distance,

here is how much fuel we have,

the range,

when to go to service.

You can also track the car.

For example, wherever you are in the world,

you can also check your car where it is located,

you open the map and your app shows.

Another thing that is very useful is that you can unlock and lock the car remotely.

It happens from here.

This can be done even if you are very far from the car,

For example, it is parked, you are at work,

you can unlock and lock it.

If you wonder what the meaning of this,

for example someone brings you a package and you want to leave it in your car.

Unlock, he puts the box and then locks.

It want's a password for this job in case someone steals your phone,

to can not unlock your car.

An important novelty lies here under the bonnet.

This version of the car is a 220d.

So far it was powered by a 2.2-liter 170 hp diesel engine.

now the engine is new, two-liter.

If I have to be more precise is 1950-cubic,

but its power has risen to a total of 194 hp.

So this pretty reasonable family car,

whose emphasis has fallen more on economy,

can develop 100 km/h for just 6.9 seconds.

Which was considered as sporting achievement soon.

Having said „economy", it is remarkable.

The car is brand new, I am probably the first person to test it.

No more 600 km of mileage reached.

And the consumption of a highway and relatively dynamic driving is about 7 liters per 100 km.

And the Germans promise that it can easily fall to 4.8 l once the engine smoothes out and you ride by the rules.

The road behavior of the C-Class is extremely good.

The suspension find the perfect balance between ride comfort

and tight road behavior.

You also have driving modes.

Currently I have chosen an ecological regime,

which

it has the so-called nonmotor motion function.

When driving easily and inertial,

rpm's fall slightly below 1000.

The transmission thus separates the engine from an active gear.

And use the inertia of the car. That can be

is used at very high speeds, over 160 km/h.

Which can reduce fuel consumption to 20%.

Of course you also have a comfortable, sporty, Sport +

which sensitively tightens everything,

steering, suspension,

the 9-speed automatic transmission becomes much more direct.

The new two-liter engine

is extremely pleasant to drive.

Offers great dynamics and elasticity.

194 hp, 400 Nm.

Overtaking is a real pleasure.

Such ease of acceleration, thanks to the torque of 400 Nm,

just an aerial launch, as if wind blows you.

Fantastic motor,

an optimal version is that between dynamics and economy.

It's just perfect.

The 9-speed automatic works perfectly.

Changing gears absolutely imperceptible.

The steering wheel is extremely good.

Neither is it very tight,

of course, in a sports mode becomes a lot heavier,

nor is it synthetic and insensitive.

A very good quality car.

The price of the model starts at 66,700 leva (33,350 euros).

This is a relatively moderate version with this 220d engine,

there is not much extras for the car,

it's a bit irritating that I do not even have a parktronic and a rear-view camera.

That's what Dacia already offers.

It can, of course, be equipped, but it costs extra money.

And although it is comparatively lean from equipment,

this car costs 106,500 leva (53,250 euros).

For a car at such a price, I would like to have some more equipment.

In this traffic we will now test the new assistant for

semi-autonomous driving.

I set my cruise control at 20 km/h,

from a button here my steering wheel become active and free me from handling it.

And now the car crawls itself in traffic.

I do nothing.

It stops and leaves behind the other cars,

as well as turning the steering wheel.

The only thing I do is when it stop completely to touch the throttle to pull off again.

Everything else makes the car alone,

I sit and rest.

Here it's slows,

soon will accelerate again by pulling the column,

turns with the steering wheel.

A bit abruptly stops,

even slightly worrying.

But so far it has not misled me.

See more test drives to great cars at skorost.info,

do not forget to like the facebook page,

as well as subscribe to the skorost.info channel in You Tube.

The most interesting is yet to come.

GRIS Review - The ethereal platformer - Duration: 5:35.

Although I'm not the first to throw myself over any artsy game, I know the feeling when

every now and then, you come across a title that hits the nail on the head with such overwhelming

strength it leaves you emotionally charged for several days after finishing it.

Which was definitely the case this time around.

Gris is a 2018 adventure-platformer whose name I can only assume was most likely derived

from the French word for the color gray as opposed to an alternative spelling of the

word ''grease.''

And cause up here in northern Europe, it means pig.

Which leads me to feel as if that the French variation is a bit more plausible.

It was created by Studio Nomada and features art by Conrad Roset and a soundtrack by Berlinist.

Did I say any of those names correctly?

Probably not.

Moving on.

Your objective in this game is very simple; it is to bring color back to an otherwise

gray world.

And you do this by exploring the world and collecting little shining orbs by solving

platforming puzzles so that you can proceed to the next area - which also means finding

a new set of colors to fill the world with.

As far as story goes, I can't tell you what the game is about other than the fact that

you control a girl on a journey to bring color back to her world.

Of course I could technically speaking tell you why I found myself crying at the end of

it but I'd much rather you went through the game yourself.

The game has no dialogue and no story presented in text-form either.

All story-telling that occurs is told visually and through certain musical cues, which makes

for a very personal experience.

This type of art game is just the type of thing that exists for each and every one of

us to interpret in our own way, and this title is no exception.

Although the game is a platformer, it's not particularly difficult.

There's no high-skill platforming action going on, but that's also not what the game is trying

to do either.

Some of the puzzles might have you scratching your head for a bit but overall there are

no weird difficulty spikes or puzzles with completely phony solutions.

The game is very good at easing you into it but get progressively more complex as you

go.

But as it gets more difficult, you also discover more abilities that you can learn which in

turn leads to more creative solutions for your puzzles.

Overall, it's not a very long experience.

It's around 2 and a half hours long or so depending on how fast you're able to solve the puzzles

of course.

But just getting to look at these stunning visuals

for two hours is beyond worth the price.

Because I would definitely go as far as to say that this is one of the most visually

impressive titles I've ever had the joy of playing.

You can pause the game on any frame and it looks like a piece of art no matter what.

Everything from the color palette to the fluidity of the animation and the music makes it feel

like a two hour long dream sequence.

The soundtrack for this game is special for sure because music plays a big part in the

experience, or humming in particular.

For a game that's only about two and a half hours long, it has a soundtrack that is over

one hour long; meaning that each new area not only has a new song but that they're also

full tracks.

There's no way I can't be impressed by a soundtrack that can seamlessly weave together two songs

where it feels like I'm peacefully floating around in one of them and then drowning in

the next one.

It sounds like a like a cozy indie movie married Interstellar and had a baby.

It's hard to criticize a title like this because the only way you're not going to enjoy yourself

is if art games are not something you personally enjoy.

Which isn't a flaw that's fair to hold against the game as that would be a matter

of your taste.

But if you're someone who does enjoy art games, you will not be disappointed.

I would even go as far as to recommend this title even if you're normally not someone

who would go for games like this just because the music and the visuals are so amazing.

The reason I really wanted to make a short review on this is because I would really hate

for a title like this to go under people's radar, so hopefully I'll be able to reach

some of you with this video.

I'm incredibly happy to be able to end 2018 on such a beautiful title as this and I can't

wait to see what games will come from the studio in the future.

GRIS is available on Steam and the Nintendo Switch.

I hope you enjoyed this video, thank you so much for watching.

osu! Skin Review | Zynx | skinhouse - Duration: 5:57.

Hey everybody it's CBullet here

and today we're going to be looking at a skin called Zynx,

made by... Zynx.

The version we'll be reviewing is the latest at the time of this recording,

which would be 1.2.

If you have a different version,

obviously anything mentioned in this review may not be relevant.

Let's get started.

Starting off with the song selection screen,

I'm immediately impressed due to the fact that this is apparently the skinner's first skin.

The theme seems to be a simple pink and purple gradient over a dark background,

and, for a minimalist skin,

this is more than good enough.

The song sorting tabs look gorgeous and stick to the theme,

the font used for them is perfectly readable and looks really in-place with the rest of the skin.

The osu! cookie overlay is simply a remade osu! cookie using the skin's theme,

looks great.

The back button is simple,

just text on a background,

sticking to the colors and minimalist theme.

The mode, mods, random, and options buttons look wonderful.

For a minimalist skin, I'm impressed by the amount of effort put into these.

The icons, other than for mods, are easy to look at and understand.

The menu button background is a simply rectangle,

nothing more than it needs to be.

The modes menu for this skin is really unique,

and does something I've only ever seen in one other skin.

When opened, the menu brings with it a beautiful design that covers the rest of the song selection screen,

ridding the skinner of the usual clutter behind and around the modes menu that tends to take away from designs.

The mode icons themselves are simply the defaults reskinned to fit the theme, and honestly it looks really great.

These mod icons are simply wonderful,

even by non-minimalist standards.

The icons are all relatively easy to understand other than the special mods,

but those are all very difficult to convey through icons anyway.

The mods also come paired with some very easy to read text beneath them with the mod titles,

and it's pulled off in a way that feels completely organic.

Nothing here feels forced.

Overall, an amazing display of the skinner's effort and understanding of what works.

Oh, also,

GOTTEM.

Moving onto the ranking screen,

I see some interesting stuff being tried out.

Rather than having the grade of the play as the focus,

Zynx instead chooses to showcase the mods, full combo text, and something called a "remark".

Every grade has its own "remark," which vary as seen.

Unfortunately,

due to trying to keep the back button in theme with the song selection,

we get a really awkward cutoff when it's here on the ranking screen instead.

It can easily and should be fixed in the next version of this skin.

However, it's nothing more than a simple overlook if you ask me.

The ranking panel itself is to theme, but it feels somewhat cluttered,

especially for a self-proclaimed minimalist skin.

A better way to go about this in my opinion would be to pair some of these boxes together,

namely everything on the left being its own group and the same for the right side.

The mods have their own little window for them to be showcased within,

but it looks rather out of place when the play is a nomod play.

Other than that,

all I can really notice is some inconsistent margins which admittedly aren't the biggest deal,

but would be nice to see fixed.

The gameplay for this skin is simple,

sticking with the minimalist theme.

Despite this, it still manages to look better than most skins that try to go for aesthetic over playability.

The hitcircles are simple, sporting a white outline and an inner ring with the aforementioned pink-purple gradient.

The key input overlay is simple, doing its job while staying out of the way and sticking to theme.

The healthbar is extremely easy to see out the corner of your eye and stays out of mind when it needs to.

The inner part of it looks like it was poorly erased by hand to make room for the scorebar-color element,

almost as though it's an afterthought.

The score, accuracy, and combo numbers are nice and thin.

They're extremely easy to see at a glance and don't distract in the corners of your eye.

The cursor,

while greatly contrasting from the rest of the skin,

still manages to feel like it fits in.

The follow lines are simple, they appear and disappear at good times

to not make reading distracting for players like me who play without follow lines.

The accuracy bursts are simple colored circles, nothing special about them.

The reverse arrow and slider ball both use a similar, triangular design.

Both of them serve their purpose very well.

The slider follow circle uses the same color as the approach circles,

but it's very thick to differentiate itself from the rest of the gameplay,

and I would say it does so successfully.

The pause and fail screens are both simple,

toting the same font and gradient prevalent throughout the rest of the skin,

however the menu options themselves actually do have their own icons,

all of which are clear and understandable enough.

The spinner for this skin looks really good.

It provides feedback and stays simple and unobstructive.

Simply put, I love it.

For the song selection,

this skin gets a 5 out of 5.

Overall a really solid song selection screen, especially for a skin that is aiming for a minimalist theme.

For the ranking screen,

a 3.5 out of 5.

Looks great and functions fine, but there are improvements that could be made.

For the gameplay,

a 5 out of 5.

This skin plays wonderfully and looks great,

I would definitely recommend trying it out yourself.

Overall,

Zynx has earned a 4.5 out of 5.

I'm seriously impressed for a minimalist skin,

especially considering the amount of frequently thrown out minimalist skins that have little to no effort put into them.

Well done, Zynx, especially for your first skin.

War Thunder IN REAL LIFE - Torro RC Tank Review (+ Giveaway) - Duration: 12:05.

Hello you sexy beasts, and welcome back to real life!

This video is sponsored by Torro, the German manufacturer and distributor of toys and hobby

articles, like these two official War Thunder branded RC tanks. They generously sent me

two of their models to review, and if you like what you see, you can check out their

online shop with the link in the description down below.

The two models we're reviewing today are the M4 Sherman and the Panzerkampfwagen IV,

both part of the War Thunder limited edition 1/24th scale Forces of Valor series. In addition

to these, you can also choose between a T-34-85 or a Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger.

The construction of each tank is entirely plastic, with the exception of the cannon

barrel made out of aluminium. Each kit comes with a ready to use tank, the RC controller,

spare track links, a spare IR receiver cover, a commander figure, a practice target, an

in game War Thunder bonus code containing a premium tank and 20 days of premium account,

and various visual accessories depending on the model.

The build quality of these tanks is decent. Despite being made in china and pretty much

entirely out of plastic, the chassis itself feels really solid and does not flex. The

turret turns on its own power, but does not rotate a full 360º, you're limited to about

120º to either side. The gun elevation runs on a continuous up and down cycle, meaning

you can't precisely control the up and down movement and rather have to keep running it

until it cycles to your desired position. The running gear is also quite interesting,

featuring a proper suspension and tracks made out of individual links. Generally speaking,

you can drive these over rough terrain without too many worries, but there are some limitations.

For one, these models are neither dust nor water proof, so you're better off avoiding

using them in dusty or wet areas if you don't want to damage the internals. Grip can also

be an issue on hard surfaces, as the plastic tracks tend to slide when attempting to climb

onto obstacles like your finger. That said, I haven't noticed any issues with grip on

dirt, as the tracks do bite in well on those surfaces. The tracks themselves are actually

quite sturdy, and even if something breaks you can easily swap out the affected track

links with the included spares. I did notice that overall, the Sherman's

running gear seems to be a bit sturdier than the Panzers. The VVSS suspension seems to

manage obstacles of greater size better, and the tracks are much better tensioned. The

Panzer IV has rather loose tracks that you can't tighten, I've even attempted to

remove one of the track links for that purpose but it didn't have enough length left to

be reconnected. This doesn't really affect the usability at all, unless you're dumb

like me and crack the rear idler mounting whilst filming in tall grass, resulting in

just enough wiggle room for the track to deattach itself. I do want to stress that this was

my own fault for trying to drive it on terrain it wasn't meant to be driven on, and a bit

of super glue has solved the issue since. That said, out of these two models, the Sherman

does seem to handle a bit of rough handling better than the Panzer does, just in case

you do intend to use these outside of your home. The electric engines themselves are

quite powerful, and I haven't noticed any situation where they stalled out before the

tracks lost grip

Whilst the construction of the tanks themselves is quite sturdy, the accessories can be a

bit flimsy. The Sherman comes with some plastic pieces

resembling sand bags that are held on by gravity alone onto the front and engine deck, and

these are solid enough. You do also get a Browning .50 cal machine gun that is supposed

to be mounted on top of the turret, but I wasn't for the life of me able to get the

mounting piece to actually hold the gun. The Panzer is looking a bit better in this

regard, the seitenschürzen are nice and solid and I was actually able to mount the MG34

without it falling off, if not quite where it's actually supposed to go. I do have

some worries about the thin plastic rail upon which you mount the seitenschürzen breaking

if you accidentally kick them, but so far I haven't had any issues with them, and

they hold the sideskirts perfectly well in place. Overall, the accessories are good enough

to serve as detail if you want to put these on a static display, but I wouldn't recommend

having them all mounted when you drive them into combat.

Yes you heard that right, you can actually fight with these tanks. Hidden in the barrel

is an IR emitter that sends a signal when you press the fire button, alongside a sound

effect coming from the inbuilt speaker and a simulated effect of recoil, by shortly moving

the tank back and forth. On top of the turret of each tank you can also find an IR receiver,

which can register incoming fire and distinguish between enemy and friendly signals. You can

choose between teams A, B or none on the RC controller itself, and you can have a battle

with up to 16 RC tanks at once. The battle system is surprisingly neat, with

each model of tank even simulating different amounts of damage dealt, as well as different

maximum ranges and maximum speeds. For example, the Tiger has the highest range and highest

damage output of the four models available, but also moves the slowest. The Sherman moves

faster than the Panzer IV, but deals less damage. The T-34-85 is the fastest of them

all, in true Russian Bias. It is a hitpoints system though, and it doesn't

matter where you "hit" so long as your signal reaches their receiver. This actually

gives the Sherman a bit of an advantage over the Panzer IV, since it's a taller tank

and the Panzer has to elevate its gun more, whilst simultaneously having its IR transmitter

partly blocked by the Muzzle brake, although that is removable if you really want to be

competitive. You can also cheese the opponent by turning your tank to block the enemy's

gun with your commanders cupola, essentially turning you invulnerable.

Now, each tank starts off with 120 hitpoints. Depending on the model, you deal different

amounts of damage with each shot, either 30 for heavy calibers, 20 for medium calibers,

or 15 for light calibers. This is reflected here, with the Panzer IV taking 6 shots to

destroy the Sherman, whilst the Sherman needs 8.

You can see how much health your tank has left by the LED status light on top of the

turret, as well as another status light on the RC controller itself. Once your tank is

destroyed, you can no longer fire the gun or drive until you turn it off and back on

again.

Finally, running costs. None of the models come with batteries, so you're going to

have to source those yourselves. The RC controller takes 4 AA batteries, and

the tank another 6, for a total of 10 AA batteries needed to run each tank. Additionally you'll

need 2 AAA batteries to power the practice target, although that is optional.

You can also use a rechargeable 9.6V 600MAh battery pack in the tank instead of AA batteries,

although I'm not quite sure where you can get one of those.

According to the manual, battery life for the tanks is expected to be 25 minutes depending

on terrain and driving style, but so far I've gone way over that. Your results may vary

depending on what kind of batteries you purchase.

In conclusion then, the War Thunder edition Torro RC tanks are some rather interesting

toys for the man child in us all. The detail is quite alright if you're not a hardcore

model tank collector, and the combat system is quite fun if you have some friends. The

asking price of 120€ per kit excluding shipping can be quite steep when you consider that

you don't get the full potential out of them unless you buy at least two or have a

couple friends who also buy some so you can battle it out, but with the included code

worth 30€ of in game content, it's a bit more of an enticing deal for the avid War

Thunder player.

Speaking of codes, I am giving the two that I got with these away to you guys! On screen

right now is the code for 20 days of premium and the American T14 premium assault tank.

The code for the german Panzerbefehlswagen IV premium medium tank will be posted together

with this video on my Discord, but by the time you're watching this it's likely

been claimed already.

If you're interested in getting yourself one of these RC tanks, you'll find a link

to the international Torro online shop in the description below. Full disclosure, that

is an affiliate link that will provide me with a 10% cut of any purchase you make in

the shop, be it these WT models or anything else. It won't cost you anything extra,

and it'll greatly help out my channel.

Finally, I want to thank Torro for sending me these models for review free of charge,

I've been giggling like a kid ever since I got them. I'm fully intending on continuing

to use them for more videos in the future as well, they make for some great props. Hopefully

you have enjoyed watching this review as much as I have enjoyed making it, and I'm very

interested to hear your opinions on these tanks in the comments down below. What are

the features that you find most interesting, and what would you like to see improved? If

you have any questions that I didn't cover in this review, feel free to ask them in the

comments as well, I'll be answering them to the best of my capacity.

But this has been it for today lads, if you enjoyed this video let me know by giving it
