ELEX Extensive Review - Duration: 12:46.

Hi and Welcome to Danklord vs Games.

My name is Kevin and today we'll be taking a look at Elex made by Piranha Bytes.

Elex is a single player rpg more appealing to those who has a history with the Gothic

1 to 3 games, made by the same developer.

I'll begin by saying; I am not one of those people but that doesn't mean I'm going to

hate on the game.

Not this time.

But this video is going to be a lot more spread out in topics as I discuss the game than normal.

Let's start with story

Your ship is brought down by an unknown perpetrator and you're left presumed dead.

Your armor ends up being stolen and thus you are left stranded on a ruined planet called

Magalan dominated by three main factions.

The Outlaws.

The Berserkers and The Clerics.

Your first main task becomes obvious straight from the start.

You want to recover your armor and seek out whoever wanted you dead.

But in order to do so, you need to start from scratch regaining equipment.

The factions all have their unique preferable way of combat and your goal is to join one

of them in order to learn their specific skills and gain access to their unique armor.

But you can only join one of the three available factions and your choice is permanent.

They're all situated in different regions of a large map and most of them are friendly

at first to newcomers like yourself.

They all have a unique agenda of their own and before they'll even considers letting

you join, they all have a bunch of tasks for you that needs to be done in order to gain

their trust.

Elex is a new element brought to Magalan when a comet struck the planet.

It's the mineral the game and story is based upon.

The mineral was discovered to be valuable in many different ways and the people quickly

started using Pure Elex for spellcrafting and weapon forging.

Of course the element turned into a drug able to create half-synthetic hybrids of human

beings, enhancing their overall powers and genetics.

The downside to taking Elex as a drug is that one of the withdrawal symptoms is agonizing

death.

These hybrids, known as the Albs, is part of your characters history.

He used to be a part of them, but somehow survives with Elex in no longer present in

his system.

Skills and economy is equally important as questing and leveling to your character, if

not more.

Money, or Elexit as it's called is essentially just rock with trace amounts of Elex,

but it's the most valuable resource you can find.

With Pure Elex you can craft exp, attribute points or skill points to infinite amounts

if you so desire, assuming you have the funds to do so.

Some personal talk...

At first, the game is weird as hell, weird like Fallout: New Vegas as a first person

shooter without the V.A.T.S. system.

Weird like brushing your teeth with baking soda.

It just doesn't make any sense but for some reason, even though your gum is bleeding,

it actually works.

I mean, just look at it…

I'm not doing this intentionally.

Despite all this I stuck to it and decided to dive deeper to see what else the game had

to offer besides a neanderthal approach to combat.

While it seemed like most players couldn't stand the task, I was determined to finish

this game like no other m-fr.

Let me try to explain why most people approached the game in a way that made them resent their

first experience, only to never look back.

And also why I kind of liked it..

After your first quest where you meet your first of many available companions you'll

quickly be overwhelmed by the amount of quests and lack of directions you're given.

If you expect the game to hold your hand, just forget it, it'll cut your hand off.

After you're introduced to The Berserker stronghold, you're truly free to do exactly

what you want from this point.

Normally you'd go into the town to and start looking for people to talk to.

You start gathering a bunch of quests and then head out to try and do one or two, but

you're quickly getting killed by monsters that seem to hint that maybe you should try another

quest until you repeat this over and over and eventually hit a brick wall.

Combat is taught to the player straight from the start leaving anyone to assume that this

is a normal action rpg that just suffers from terrible combat animations, but that's not

the case at all.

If anything, it's another hint that combat should be avoided at all costs.

Elex truly tries to give you a sense of being underpowered for everything, even rats kills you

You really have to earn the strength to be able to fight creatures on your own, so the

game provides you with a companion to do most of the heavy lifting.

But if you miss that first quest and don't get a follower, you're going to have a tough

time, if not, an impossible one.

You're supposed to run away more than you're supposed to fight things, and that's quite

the opposite of most games within the same genre.

Your companion technically tells you this within the first 5 minutes of the game, but

when he says that "these woods are dangerous, I've been attacked countless times, stay

close to me", no one expects that it should be like that throughout the first 30 hours

of the game.

But it is.

And if you once again forgot to get that companion, I mean.. you..

I mean, I'm sorry you're fuucked.

There, I said It, I tried not to swear in this video.

You're given a jetpack within a few minutes and there's a reason why it exists.

Altitude and kiting enemies are your best ways of surviving in this harsh environment.

The developers chose to not stick to conventional means of having linear progression and decided

to almost randomly scatter clusters of mobs ranging from level 1 to impossible, all over

the map, and that's essentially how the game starts out for everyone.

When you first teleport to your hub and explore the outer perimeter you're going to come

across reapers that shoot you down the minute they spot you.

There's even a huge mob nearby that throws rocks at you, reinforcing the idea that you

really shouldn't mess around with anything just yet.

Like 15 to 20 levels yet, and when you do.

Don't exhaust your stamina by smashing your attack like a spaz.

As I mentioned before you're able to craft potions through alchemy that either gives

you experience, attribute points or skill points, but alchemy and many other skills

require a bunch of points in intellect, reinforcing even further that maybe strength and dexterity

isn't that important just yet.

The problem is that all skills are neatly tucked behind a terrible user interface that

makes almost anyone be like "Yeaaah..

Maybe I'll look at this later" Except for the attribute points, which are

as straightforward as ever.

But it doesn't help that each category requires you to find and talk to a specific trainer

scattered throughout the different cities if you want to level up in each category up.

The first two hours of the game is by far one of the slowest experiences you're going

to come across in a game and I honestly think it's because of the Steam refund policy,

and that's all it is.

There is so much dialogue in this game, dialogue which isn't even good by the way, but it

all serves a purpose.

Not only does it provide you with information, ideally you'd realize that you can talk

your way out of almost every situation if you have the stats to back it up, but the

dialogue is so damn boring and monotonous that I honestly skipped 80% of it.

My strategy was to put subtitles on and just read faster than they spoke, skipping everything

else, but I feel like I missed out on so much information of why I was doing certain things.

The acting isn't terrible per say but it's somewhat apparent that the voice actors were

detached from what's happening inside the game, leaving them with very little to no

context.

Sometimes it works.

Most of the time it doesn't.

Most of the time the camera couldn't handle the situation at all and went through walls

or just couldn't put my player in frame.

Sometimes it did this..

Piranha Bytes are known for their specific type of gameplay that seems to be present

in their titles all the way back to 2001.

Innovation and quality of life seems to be uninteresting to the developers in favor of

keeping the game "true to it's predecessors" but it cost them a great deal of players sick

of the same old flaws.

To many players, it's not a valid excuse to cripple the mechanics of the game in order

to keep things true.

It comes across as lazy and frankly, unacceptable in the year of 2017.

I on the other hand that never had to play any of their previous titles, so I quickly accepted

the game for what it was.

A game made by a small group of overly ambitious developers that I had to outsmart and complete.

I also had Fallout new Vegas horribly boring world design in the back of my head thinking

that this world is diverse and lush enough to keep me interested in exploring every inch of it

Elex is still unconventional in every single way when it comes to RPG's but the overall

package works.

If combat wasn't as clunky as it was, killing two enemies in a quest wouldn't feel as rewarding

as simply plowing through hordes of enemies.

You see, games are made for you to feel a bit like a superhero.

Even though the challenge increases, you're still on top of the enemies at all times.

You're better and stronger.

Most importantly you don't have terrible AI, but in Elex you're brought down to a level

lower than the enemies themselves until you start gearing up, and even then, you'll

be pretty terrible.

It's like they want you to be a caveman.

Embrace your inner caveman for god sake!

You'll need a lot of patience and you're going to be looking at the same armor for

quite a while until you establish an economy and a rank within your faction.

I rarely found armor by looting and not having fun loot in an rpg is just…

Bordering on illegal.

Also, if you haven't played this game, looting itself is a bit tedious and clunky as you

have to target the physical item on the ground, or on a shelf to pick it up.

Yeah, there's not a whole lot of clickable surface to an arrow, so don't bother with

a controller..

But once you do start getting armor, it feels rewarding as hell getting to look like the

NPC's you've come across around the world.

If only the stats could reflect that.

The increase you get is so minute that it barely makes a difference if not for the overall

aesthetics and there's no page where you can see how much health you have or damage

you deal.

Hell, you can't even tell how much experience you have into your level in numbers.

There's just a small progress bar that fills up as you go, and there's no indication

of level besides a skull meaning - run forrest, run.

But there's so much content in this game for you to explore, the options you have for

going about your questing is just amazing but at the same time nothing new.

I honestly think that the game would have been better off financially if it was called

Gothic 4; New and Unimproved; but hey, they wanted to bring in a new audience without

ever taking the time to lay down the basic rules for all of the new players to learn.

I can't put my finger on exactly why, but I enjoyed my time with the game once I realized

how it should be played.

But neither could I understand Fallout: New Vegas.

I hated the game as much as I loved it for it's terrible gameplay outshone by the incredible

story behind its back.

Elex isn't going to give you a story worthy of exploration but it's going to give you

a world worthy of one.

To start to come to a conclusion.

The first city you come across are run by The Berserkers and they've decided to ban

all use of technology.

The map and interface is all supposed to be integrated technology into your sleeve and

thus, opening the quest logs, maps or attribute panel will trigger the guards or npc's to

comment on your use of technology.

Another way of the game trying to tell you that you should explore other cities and see

what they think of you.

You're not supposed to make a choice early on in the game of what faction to join.

You're supposed to take advantage of all of them one by one and gain experience in

the process.

You're not supposed to forget that your allegiance originally was with the Albs.

The mistake you can make that you would traditionally do in a game is that you want to finish one hub or a

city one at a time

If you do that, you're going to get stuck and when you get stuck, you try to grind mobs

for XP.

Mobs that once again, kill you.

Because none of this is explained the game comes across as a difficult game with horrible

mechanics, but there is so much more to it than that.

The first few quests have you run some outrageous distances

making you believe that they are meant for later in the game, while they're not, if

they're given to you, they can all be done, even if you're level 1.

On this save file I got kidnapped by the Clerics while on my way to do a regular quest and decided

to join them for the fun of it.

For my next playthrough I'm going to try and take over an entire city by joining them

and killing their leader.

I'll see what happens for the fun of it and I think those "sandboxy" type of elements

are enjoying.

It's unfortunate though that the process to get there is sort of tedious.

But if you stick to it and you enjoy rpg's where you can pickpocket everyone at night

and destroy a faction from the inside out, you're going to enjoy the insane amount

of time it takes to complete this game.

There's not many games out there nowadays that can give you that sense of grandness

when you think that you're ready to take on the last boss only to have the game hit

you with "Chapter 2" after almost 40 hours of playing.

I mean come on...

Doki Doki Literature Club! l Visual Novel Short Review - Duration: 10:27.

the cool Ike

let's not talk about that and instead let's talk about the visual novel that is taking the internet by storm

Doki Doki Literature Club

the game was published in this the year 2017,

on September 22nd

it was created by Team Salvato whose only project is this game currently

so first things first the front page or whatever it's called

it's clean and simple. I like it. You get all of the main characters

you get the necessity options

not a whole lot to talk about

it fits my preference.

for the UI/aesthetics of this game I like that the dialog box is small, semi-transparent but the texts are still easy to read

on the other hand I'm not a big fan of being unable to scroll back to the previous dialog

it's more or less a pet peeve since it's easier for me to get the materials I need for the review

but it's also in the case of me accidentally double-clicking and missing out on a piece of information and

being unable to rewind back to that scene

at the very least if I were to scroll up at least bring me to the dialogue history so I don't have to click on the history button

currently these are all nitpicks from me because when it comes to visual novels: Convenience is the key

and speaking of convenience it would be great to have the right mouse button take me to the menu

clicking the scroll and the right mouse button removes the dialog box

and they don't need to have the same command

other than that, everything about the look of this game is

nice to look at

it took, me around 6 hours to finish the game

so you can sit down and finish the game in one sitting

It's also free

there are no sex scenes and to the first time viewers you might be asking why I said that

well...

I've covered some visual novels that has some sexy times

during the first arc of this game you can choose between three girls

Sayori, Natsuki, or Yuri

god forbid why we can't choose Monika but that's her own goddamn fault

with the choices you get a very nice dating sims-esque style of gaining a girl's affection

since this is the literature club you have to write a poem each day and with those poems

you can select words that will resonate with those girls

this is also a great way to know them better

getting more points for a specific girl will trigger her scene for the next day and each character will say their different opinions on your poem

all of them have different dialogues depending on who you lean towards

and they might even hate you enough to not even show you their poems

there are no voice acting's in this game although I guess

Monika does sing for you and it reminds me of GLaDOS from the ending of Portal for some reason

wow I just gained a new revelation

I usually don't comment on the music of a visual novel mainly because they tend to use some basic background noise

but this? I can't let this go

the happy-go-lucky music that you get to listen throughout the game

is terrible

I hate it

the piano is alright though but then when it gets into the horror sections

I like those. It fits and it brings out the creepy atmosphere

I also love the offbeat of the music sometimes when you're in the second arc

keeps you on your toes

for the story

well...

if you've heard about this visual novel then you should know that it's foked up

what kind of foked up exactly?

you can look at their warning page on their websites. They'll tell you

or look at a thumbnails on Youtube when you search up Doki Doki Literature Club

because they sure love to hang with a certain character

anyways, short point you're a dude who gets roped into the literature club by your childhood friend

you meet the other three members who are all based off of an anime trope and you do literature things in this literature club

and then horrific things happen

the end

minor spoiler: I was expecting something completely different when the twist happened

I thought it was played out well when the MC goes into the monologue about the situation

and when he says that this wasn't a game and that he couldn't save and load the game back up to change the situation

to which I thought, "Silly you! This is a game! I can reload if I want to!"

and then my saves got deleted and I had to sit there and dwell in the fact that this was something that had happened

and I couldn't change it

I thought that that was such an amazing piece

and it made me think that it was going to go into a way darker direction

as we get to go further into each character's story

but alas, it didn't, and I was left rather dissatisfied

don't get me wrong I was interested in what was going to happen next

and the horror element was very spooky

but even the horror wears off towards the end or at least when it decided to amp up the yandere by a thousand

because in this day and age, who is afraid of a yandere?

people who wouldn't like to have a knife stuck inside of them but other than that who else is frightened really?

The characters. As I said in my short summary they're all based on anime tropes

we got the childhood friend, the tsundere, the yandere, and the (perfect) upperclassmen (although she's in the same grade)

minusing the yandere because she's a yandere and there's really nothing intriguing about her

the other three have quirks that makes them different from the template characters

when we learn about their back stories or their true intentions, we find ourselves

characters who are "simple people" but they hide behind a mask that so happened to be one of the anime tropes

and when I say "simple people" I only mean two of them

the third one?

I don't even want to get on her case

but if I ever do I'll tweet her about it

there is a slight problem with Natsuki and that's the fact that she gets left behind

in the second arc, as much as I wanted to focus on Natsuki

the game wouldn't allow it. They steered me towards Yuri and Monika instead

and Natsuki is kind of forgotten

which is unfortunate because I would have loved to know more about her backstory

again, off topic from Natsuki

I don't care much for a yandere character. I find them entertaining

but that's about it

about the animation for the characters

I love it. The transitions when they enter or leave, or if they're sulking, or if they're closed up in your face and they're backing up

it all makes them very lively

there are also many positions but speaking of those

the gap between Sayori's hands and hips make her look

weird

I don't often see people standing like that

also when I look at the characters they look

out of proportion I can't explain it well since I'm not an artist

their head is huge is what i'm trying to say

and then the writing. My favorite part

I don't have any grammatical problems with this game

however towards the end, it gets too meta and edgy for my taste

on the other hand, like I said about the twist, I still find that piece to be fantastic

the poems, although I might be a washed-up writer, I still can't write poetry so I can't make a comment about it

I was taught by a great English teacher who told me that a tree is fokin' blue instead of asking what it might represents

the poem that Sayori lets you read on the second day, though. That gets me.

very creepy and cringey in a good way

if you look into the more complex poems they're not hard to figure out

finally, we are at the end

would I recommend this game?

first of all, it's free

with that amazing price, I would recommend everybody to try it out

the only thing that'll cost you is your time and probably your sanity if your mind is weak

if you're looking for a visual novel that is out of the norm, this is a start

if you're looking for a visual novel with a good creepy atmosphere, this one does deliver

I had expected something different from this VN

I expected it to go deeper into the rabbit hole instead of being an edgy teen

but that's just me

and my opinion doesn't really matter

go play whatever the hell you want

anyways these glasses really hurt my eyes and my face in general

Hey YouTube fam! It's ya girl Lia back again with another video and as you can

see from the title it is another foundation review Friday and I'm smiling

from ear-to-ear just because I have not filmed outside of my fenty foundation

review a foundation review Friday for you guys since the end of June. And you

guys might be like I just saw your L'Oreal Infalliable what are you talking

about. That was filmed about you know several months ago before my accident.

Even if you pay attention my hair is the model model Dominican braid which is an

old hair. I don't have the scar on my arm from me accident so that was a long time

ago. Today's foundation is the foundation I actually bought back in July I was so

gung-ho about my foundation reviews that I'll pre bought so many foundations. So

this was new at the time and as you can see from the sticker it says new on here.

Don't mind my nails it's a nail day I need to go out and get my nails done at

some point today hopefully. Um and I have the Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir

foundation. Now in Canada I realized recently they call this foundation

Vitalist Elixir. They take out healthy so the bottle looks a lot different and I

don't know if it's different throughout the entire you know international land

but that's something I thought was weird is it not that healthy. So like I said my

foundation reviews aren't first impressions I wear the foundation out

Monday through Friday. I type my notes out and print them out for you guys at

the end of the week and tell you guys what worked with me. Like my hair reviews

I like to give you guys the nitty gritty and things I noticed. If you're not

familiar with my skin I have dry skin very dry skin. And if for you guys who

are also are new I list every single foundation that I've tried throughout my

foundation review series down below. So if you have any questions about what am

I in this foundation don't worry I got you all down below. So the covergirl

vitalist healthy elixir I'm looking down at my notes if I look down at any point.

It's between nine ninety nine and eleven ninety nine and the places that I saw it.

Now 1199 it was at Ulta and Ulta already tries it 999 I saw it at Target and I

actually bought mine at Target for 9.99 so it's a high

in kind of depending on where you get it from foundation from the drugstore they

have 14 foundations shade my shade is 757 and that is golden tan on the back

it also gives you a little expiration date so it lets me know that it will

expire in March 2019 that's a long time that's quite some time you get one

flowing ounce which is typical for most foundations in the bottle is very acute

I have to say for drugstore this is a very cute glass kind of bottle that is I

really like it now in terms of applicators and what I used this week in

terms of applying the foundation I chose to apply it both a few days with the

brush about two days with the brush and two days with the beauty blender and

one day with the real techniques sponge with the brush you do get a more fuller

coverage in terms of you don't get a full full coverage with anyway you apply

this foundation but the brush you do get a fuller coverage than you do with a

Beauty Blender sponge and that just depends on what kind of coverage you

like. If you follow my channel you guys know I outside of filming on camera with

you guys Monday through Friday I tend to like a sheer to medium coverage I'm not

trying to walk in the face I'm not a model my career isn't modeling so I

don't really love a full coverage so everything about this scream applied

with a Beauty Blender for me now in terms of primers I have been loving this

combination without question for all the foundations that I've been applying

gracefully and it's the primer water by Smashbox and the Smashbox photo finish

foundation primer I'm so the water and the primer itself have worked

wonderfully for me so what I do and what somebody suggested I do this is why I do

this I use the primer water of course and spray but for my areas that I get

fine lines in and I get a lot of fine lines with my smile lines because I'm

not Julie or happy person most of the time and so I get smile lines right here

I put the actual primer the Smashbox primer on these area so places where I'm

tend to get wrinkles I tend to put this here and it's been kind of working for

me recently I get wrinkles right here too because I'm very expressive

somewhere huh I do a lot of eyebrow movements like so I think it wrinkles

here a lot so applying this real has helped so how the shade looks on me

it's the back of the hand like I said I have gold and tan that's what one pump

looks like and that's what it looks like on me and my skin you guys can see now

I'm gonna do a second pump we're gonna see how far two pumps can take me

so I know I originally applied two pumps on the back of my hand I actually have

gone back in with two additional pumps to make it build up a little bit more on

camera for you guys but if I was doing this day-to-day I could get away with

two to three pumps four pumps if I wanted to build it up a

lot more of course you could use a lot less the reason why I say this isn't

full coverage for me and that's one thing I'll say right off the bat the

pump says it is a lightweight full coverage makeup I have to stop you right

there the way I can tell if a foundation is

full coverage because I don't have a lot of blemishes or like dark spots on my

face I have freckles on my nose though and if my freckles kind of peak through

which I don't know if it's gonna show on camera because I applied a little bit

more than normal but we day to day throughout this week I've noticed that

applying one kind of layer to kind of layers I still see my freckles coming

through so I'm like yeah pull cover eye foundations that are full coverage that

new cover that area so I'm like let's stop you right there covergirl you tried

it now in terms of the states I normally gripe about shades early on when I see

something that says 14 shades I'm like uh because I think there's only about

three shades darker than my shade it might be three or four shades darker

than my shade the reason I don't give covergirl too much heat for not having

those shades a lot darker is because they have the Queen collection that's

the only reason I don't read covergirl for filth a lot it's because of that

Queen collection it saves them a little bit because they have I used to love

covergirl Queen growing up and I definitely need to try some of their

foundations a part of this foundation review series because when they first

launched that that was something new and nobody had ever really had a darker line

back what was that like eight years ago nine years ago when Queen first came out

so in terms of the finish that you're seeing right now it is a very kind of I

hope it's showing up on camera how luminous it is it's very luminous right

now now I'll show you a little bit later when I come back and apply this in my

face but I think it settles down to but initially very luminous if you're seeing

right now it looks look like a mazing shade match I'll show you guys a little

bit later I think it oxidizes a tad bit you'll see that when it interacts with

my skin but I think off bat when you're first applying it I think yay look at

I look luminous the shade is matching me just from this one bottle didn't have to

mix or anything J it looks amazing but of course as per usual I'll play the

rest of my face and come back with my you know how it interacts with my

product stop so stay tuned now I am back and of course applied the rest of my

face so this is the finished look and I'd have to say I hope it's showing up

outside of the areas that our bronze I bronze up a little bit around here

however oxidizes a wee bit now not an annoyingly amount for me now like I said

I want to pick this product up it was in a June I didn't crack it open until

October so I think it would have been probably amazing if during those summer

months like those summer months like while I was at the peak of the the kind

of shade that I am right now but as I'm weaning down like we're in still October

right now but I know as you know December hits I'll get a little bit

lighter and this may not be the perfect look but for me right now

I'm not mad at the level of oxidizing it does now will my winter shade be I think

755 it's all honey I couldn't be mistaken I know honey is in the title

what is one shade lighter than 757 so I don't know if that's something that I

would need to pick up for my winter shade or not but I have to say for right

now if you guys can see it's a little bit darker on me but I am a little bit

as you can see I'm not you know this stain I'm more so this shade now so it's

blending with my body and and flowing well with my skin tone which I really

like I need my foundations to look like me

I'm so good job 757 in terms of playing well with products I'd have to say I

have to give this foundation a little bit of a thumbs down what I mean when I

say playing well with products is how does the product interact with my other

products that I layer on top of it meaning my blushes and my highlights and

my contours it's in that realm now what throughout the week I thought

it was kind of a fluke in terms of applying but then as I applied more and

more each day I kind of realized it doesn't really like other products being

on top of it that much it's not the biggest fan of other products and that's

really weird but I am not outside of you know filming for you guys and being on

camera throughout the week I don't apply a lot a lot of product but if you're

somebody who does like likes a lot of blush a lot of highlight I've realized I

had to apply a little bit more of my blush than I normally do when I put

powder on top of this it's like we're not liking it

that's like I'll do I just wore my brush in my blush to kind of pick it up and

put it on and turn into a highlight I normally pack it on like this is a lot

of highlight that I put on for me today like in a normal life I kind of wiggled

my brush in there and apply highlight but for this it's just subtle it's just

very you know right here right here it's very much so subtle and so it's like

when you put the product on top of this foundation this appears a little bit you

have to apply a little bit more in terms of creams it worked really well with my

cream eye cream contour a lot i cream bronze a lot I'm gonna work well with

other cream so these are things I just wanted to highlight straight off of

applying the oxidized is a little bit may not be the best friend with some of

your products and I would have to say it does settle down to a natural finish if

you are a dry girl as you're a dry girl you're not gonna have a very do me but

you're gonna have a natural natural finish and I love a natural finish if I

can't have dewy I'll settle for a natural finish now it says it has

vitamin E in there and if you guys know since my accident

vitamin E has been my best friend I bought this from Target and untying it

on my scars it has really kind of helped a lot in terms of scarring I applied

cocoa butter and I applied my vitamin E so a vitamin E is a vitamin that I have

really been enjoying on its own recently so the fact that it's been a foundation

I like that um but yo let me not ramble on let me go ahead about the rest of my

day and come in and check with you guys later and let you guys know how this

product holds up throughout the day and my end of the thoughts and what I

repurchase it so see you guys soon so now I am back it has been about 5 hours

with this foundation now this isn't how long I would typically wear my

foundations I would of course wear them a lot longer on a typical day but I am

about to lose natural some latter's getting dark and like six seven

something so I am trying to utilize all the natural daylight I have

near my steps you guys say you love taking me film here so I love coming

here so this is five hours of where but you guys know me being a dry skin person

my foundations and a lot of foundations I try on their theories tend to last

longer on me than an average oily a person or oily a person usually has to

blot a lot they have to pee powders throughout and a lot of the time and for

me luckily I hate being dry skin but I love the fact that foundation stay and

look good on me for an extended period of time so that

is a plus being a dry skinned person but what have I noticed in wearing this

revitalization throughout the entire week now first oxidation you guys know

it did get a little bit darker for me it wasn't something that I couldn't handle

but it would cause me to have to maybe use a lighter shade in the winter time

now I'm gonna see how long I stay with this kind of tan but on me right now

perfect shade and now this oxidizes a little bit this shape particularly but I

I don't know how other shades I always wonder I'm only one shade do lighter

shades oxidize do darker shades oxidize the same way that these were oxidize I

don't know but for me 757 might be a little tinge darker and you just

attention othing unbearable I would say in terms of a longevity longevity of

wear with this foundation throughout the wear of it the longest I wore it was on

Tuesday of my work week and I put I always get up in the morning put my

foundation and makeup on from 8:00 to 8:30 and that particular day I took my

foundation off at 11:00 p.m. now how did it look what you would expect a nap

foundation that you wore for upwards of 14 hours to look it didn't look the

absolute best and for me this foundation does start looking a little different

during my work day around 5:30 I leave the office at 5:30 Easter day and I

don't look at all the way I look at eight o'clock in the morning so the way

I built my face up today to come on camera I could say I could probably wear

the look that I'm looking right now mmm I'd say a weird four five more hours

maybe still look exactly the same on a day-to-day basis a normal person

applying foundation who doesn't have to film on front of a camera you might see

you know six seven hours of wear oily skin person

I know you would probably have to block this foundation there's no way around it

so that's why I want to say it may not be the most oily skin friendly

foundation I'm just putting it out there I don't know maybe your oily skin person

to adore this super oily and you adore this foundation I think this is more

geared and nowhere on the site does it say geared towards dry skin types oily

skin type normal skin types it doesn't say anything about it but I'm saying for

me I could see a normal to dry skin person loving this maybe even

combination super oily I think you're gonna look like a free spot by the end

of the day and I think you're gonna have to blot uncontrollably but would I

repurchase it that's the question of the hour how did I feel and what I

repurchase this foundation and I would have to say hands down I think I would

repurchase it I i surprisingly I don't know I've seen a couple of reviews out

there for this foundation but I haven't seen that many about it might still be

like I don't know what about that but for me I kind of would repurchase it

only because I'm more soul of a share to medium coverage that's just me I'm also

somebody who's not concerned about how other it works well with other products

because Monday through Friday when I'm at work throughout the week I don't care

about my contour being on fleek I don't care about my blush being on point I can

apply a little bit lighter hand or some contour with some blush with some

highlight and be okay with it I'm more so love a sheer coverage day

today and I love that too I love a natural to luminous - do we finish I

think this gives a very natural finish I think that's one of the reasons I love

Mac face and body and that's one of my highest ones and for some people they're

like no no no no this is in that category I think for shade match I found

a foundation that I can buy one of and it was probably my shade from about mate

even now who knows it's North Carolina it can be hot forever I hear who know

the Sun be building down I'm sure I can get a tan in the middle of November out

here so I think shade rice I found this foundation and I don't want the mix with

anything I don't need to do one part of something to get a perfect match I think

this pad matches me pretty perfectly I think it's lightweight just like the

back says I don't feel like I have foundation on I don't feel cakey I don't

feel like that so yes I hope you guys enjoy my foundation review of the cover

Luffy Figured Out Katakuri's Ability - One Piece Manga Chapter 883 Review - Duration: 8:02.

The first panel of the chapter is Luffy getting ready to active gear 4, I got very excited,

finally, this fight will get serious but Katakuri has other plans.

He said not yet, because it's time for my sinister snack time.

It was interesting to see Luffy unlocking a new type of Haki.

The Food Haki.

After stopping Luffy from activating gear 4, Katakuri says: "Why should I keep quiet

and watch when I already know that you are going to power up?"

This is a very interesting and weird thing to say!

If all the characters not just in One Piece but in the manga, in general, would have this

approach, as Katakuri's.

Then most of the fights would be a lot shorter and some of them would not even start.

Oda is continuing to impress me with this character, he is very different from the other

characters and not just in One Piece.

It would be normal to have a character like Katakuri in the Gintama manga, where most

of the time they troll and they break the cliches that are used a lot.

In the previous chapter, Katakuri said to Luffy that the will of the person is not the

most important thing, people still dying even though they believe they will not.

Just because you say or believe something a lot does not mean it will come true.

And in this chapter, he did not let his opponent to power up.

In almost all the fights in the manga, not just the opponent is allowed to power up but

also is praised.

Now that he is stronger because the fight will be more even.

I hope Oda will do more stuff like this in the future.

There is no reason to limit yourself to just a couple of formals, the more you use the

more interesting the story becomes.

And will improve our experience as a reader because this is a series, after all, things

are repetitive that's why is called a series.

It's great to see that even after 20 years Oda is coming up with new stuff.

I really do appreciate stuff like this even if they are very small.

Anyway, Katakuri says to Luffy: "Hey, Straw hat Luffy I will tell you this now, I am not

underestimating you" And he buries Luffy with his awakened power.

He did not want the fight to end like this but it was time for his snack and since he

is a perfectionist, he had no choice.

There are four things on this page that I really like because I do the same things.

The first one, Katakuri holding that pocket watch and being irritated that things have

not gone as planned.

The second one, he is a perfectionist, being a perfectionist is very helpful for a lot

of stuff but sometimes it's a real pain.

To give an example, I was making a video and everything was done, I rendered the video

and while I was checking the video before uploading to the channel.

I did notice that one of the pictures that I used in the video is slightly out of place,

like millimeters.

And I am sure no one would have noticed if I would just leave as it is and upload the

video.

But no, I went to back to correct the mistake and I rendered the video again.

Because to me, it felt like if I post that video like it was it would be the end of my

channel.

The third one: he has a schedule when he eats.

I do the same, my schedule is 9 3 9.

I eat three times a day.

And the fourth one: it looks like he is a massive tea drinker, I am too.

I had no idea that Katakuri and I have some many things in common.

Katakuri says: "Sugar is the source of power"!

Well, do you what else sugar is the source of?

Diabetes!

So be careful.

Katakuri can create a house with his awakened power which is very interesting because so

far we have seen this power to be used only for destruction.

I think Capone has awakened his devil fruit as well, when Big Mom was after them he did

create a big castle.

Katakuri was not the only one who was eating, Luffy was eating too, but for different reasons,

Luffy was eating to save his life.

When you first saw this, what came to your mind?

Since it's the same thing that he did against Cracker.

I don't have a problem with this because Oda himself is making fun of this, Luffy says:

what the hell is going on with the way the pirates fight here?

Do I just gotta keep eating to win?!

I am glad that this text was there otherwise it would have been weird.

Luffy does ask the cooks there where is Katakuri?

They say that he has left but then Luffy uses is Observation Haki to locate where Katakuri

is.

But if he would have used his brain he would have found where Katakuri is.

There is a new building that was not there before and it is right in front of him and

it is made of Mochi, how many other clues does he need.

But anyway, he did use observation haki and he said: "I can hear the sound of someone

strong over there".

Is this a mistake in translation?

I think it makes more sense if he said: "I can sense someone strong over there".

But what do you guys think?

Luffy did lose all of his extra weight just by running and destroys Katakuri's temple.

So, there is a reason why Katakuri wears that scarf all the time.

But what exactly is he?

Is he a half human and half mink?

Maybe his father is a mink?

But he also has long legs just like Smoothie.

Oda said that his devil fruit is a special type of paramecia and that's why it does look

like a logia.

So maybe it's the same thing with his body he is the only one that has this form.

Or his case is like Pudding's, her clan all have three eyes.

But the interesting thing here is that he does not want anyone to see his true form,

the same it was with Pudding.

I know that Oda is trying to make Katakuri's character more interesting by giving him another

dimension.

But it's kinda weird to me.

They have no problem doing all those bad things but when it comes to their appearances they

are so sensitive.

Pudding did expect Sanji to go crazy and be afraid when she would show him her third eye.

But when he did not, she broke down in front of him.

Oh wait, could it be that the same thing would have between Luffy and Katakuri as well.

Luffy will say that the fangs look pretty cool and he is jealous of Katakuri and then

Katakuri will break down and start crying?!

No, I don't think that will happen, because Luffy did figure out how Katakuri's ability

works.

But first, let's talk about Armament Haki, Katakuri said to Luffy that I have the upper

hand.

This was not a surprise to me because when Luffy fought Cracker, Luffy said that Cracker's

armament haki is the strongest one I have ever come across.

And it seems like Katakuri's armament haki is even stronger than Cracker's and that's

why Luffy is having problems.

When Luffy did kick Katakuri, he did figure out how his ability works and he said to him:

"you are not invincible".

When I saw that the first thing that came to my mind was:

I wonder if Luffy can say those words to Nami, that she is not invincible.

If Luffy dies one day I know who killed him.

Anyway, the way to defeat Katakuri is to let him attack you.

Because when he is attacking he is focused on attacking and not on trying to predict

his opponent's attack.

Katakuri cannot do two things at the same time.

So, the best defense for Luffy is the offense.

And that's why Luffy was able to hit Katakuri with his kick because at that moment Katakuri

was attacking.

But when Luffy did attack Katakuri and he was just standing there he was able to predict

the Kong Gun attack and did defend himself.

One thing is for sure this fight has become very interesting I hope the next chapter will

be just like this one.

Beyblade Review - B-89 Blast Jinnius.5G.Gr Booster [Beyblade Burst God/Evolution] - Duration: 1:34.

B-89 Blast Jinnius 5Glaive Guard is an interesting release; it comes with three brand new parts,

as opposed to most boosters that usually only came with two.

The Blast Jinnius Layer has a ring around itself that rises during battle to absorb

hits, but in reality it does little to change performance besides make the beyblade easier

to destabilize in battle.

That combined with the recoil from the contact points leave the Layer hindered competitively,

as it is quite easy to Burst or KO with Layers like Legend Spriggan and Sieg Xcalibur.

The 5 Core Disc has a design that is much like a reversed 4 Core Disc, and it performs

similarly to 4 with the top-tier stamina Frame, Glaive, which is also contained in this booster.

Lastly, the Guard Driver has a ring around its tip that keeps the beyblade from falling

over.

Theoretically this should make it good for defense and life after death, but it's very

easy to destabilize and its knockout defense is poor, resulting in a part that remains

outclassed by Revolve and Atomic.

Overall, while Blast Jinnius.5G.Gr is a neat departure from typical boosters, the new parts

within leave a lot to be desired.

As such, you should only pick up this booster if you need the Glaive Frame.

Otherwise, only pick it up for collection purposes.

JIGSAW (2017) - One Minute Movie Review - Duration: 1:25.

the notorious jigsaw killer returns to host this deadly game in the 8th chapter

of the Saw franchise jigsaw this is the first saw movie to be released since 2010

when saw 3d the final chapter promised to close out the run of the films but

just like all those classic horror franchises of old: Friday the 13th,

Nightmare on Elm Street, these horrific killers just seem to keep coming back

even after being killed in some cases you know there's nothing really new

about this chapter of saw you've got perfect strangers caught again in a

deadly game involving elaborate devices designed to mutilate and kill you know

the only major difference is that this Saw movie feels like a lower budget

generic knockoff of the previous films it even looks and feels like it was made

for cable TV on the cheap with a bunch of Canadian television actors overall

jigsaw is yet another lackluster sequel that feels like it was rushed through

production to make the Halloween deadline but it's not like you can

expect too much from the 8th film of one of the biggest horror franchises. clearly

they're running out of ideas so unless you're a die-hard fan of the Saw movies

Danganronpa 3: Kibou [Mini-Review] - Duration: 2:50.

Danganronpa 3, the end of kibougamine gakuen, side hope.

The final fragment of Danganronpa 3 is not another season, but just an episode, which combines both plots and closes the story of kibougamine, while V3, the next game, dedicated itself to starting a new plot.

I'm not going to review the episode, so in a way, the title is a huge lie.

Ultimately, this is a conclusion about Danganronpa 3 as a whole.

Because at the end of the day, Hope makes it clear that while on theory it is the end of Future and Despair, that's an even bigger lie that the title I used.

Hope is a story of Danganronpa 2, from start to end, at the end, all of 3 can be summed up as a D2 story, and Hope's executions makes it clear that Hajime and his harem are the ones that direct the rhythm and results.

Without revealing the twist, the truth is Future only had one reason to be, cause the trigger for the conclusion, something that did not require 12 episodes of another killing game that at the end served no purpose.

Naegi himself says it, this time he wasn't the lead, he simply opened the doors to this ending.

And Despair simply had too much to handle in too little time.

At least one third of it's duration was spent on explaining Future elements, which as I mentioned, is unnecessary, the rest has to be split between the Remnants, Junko's plans and the most tragic event,

which is more of a prequel to Danganronpa as a whole rather than 2. Making it so Despair is ultimately a prequel to 2 roughly 30% of the time, even while that's the part that really matters.

I enjoyed Despair, I did not agree with all it's calls, but generally speaking I had fun, but the problem is that at the end of the day Danganronpa 3 is Despair and Hope, not Future.

Hd they distributed the time in a different way, or the past of the Future Foundation members were introduced in Future instead of Despair, each half would have had more weight,

and Despair would have had the time to be a real prequel to the second game, and that way, maybe some of the most questionable choices would have been different.

Even so, it's not a bad ending.

Danganronpa was never the story of how to defeat Junko, it was just a story of hope, it didn't need a final boss, and while in a way, the ideas Hope brought to the table had been explored previously, they are fitting.

The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History doesn't need the biggest show of hope to counter it,

it just requires small hopes, in each person, every person choosing on their own way and on their time to take a step forward.

Hope is not the absence of despair, it is simply being willing to make a future, one step at a time.
