David Warner's team-mates reportedly want him removed from team hotel – This is why

David Warner, who has been stood down from the vice-captaincy following the ball-tampering row in the Newlands Test, has reportedly invited fresh trouble for himself after he partied with his non-cricket friends at the team hotel — something that hasn't gone down well with his teammates.

The team members, who are having a tough time after skipper Steve Smith admitted that the team's leadership unit knew about the SandpaperGate scandal and got thrashed by 322 runs against South Africa, were left raging over the explosive opener's behavior and have asked authorities concerned to remove him from the team hotel.

According to a Fox Sports report, they've even threatened that there could be an 'incident' if Warner stays on.

The report further claimed that Warner has gone rogue ever since the scandal broke and has even exited from a WhatsApp group between the players.

Although Warner's association hasn't yet been proved like that of Cameron Bancroft and Smith, it is widely understood that he was well aware of the ploy and had agreed to carry on with it.

Another report on the Sydney Morning Herald claims that a section of the team felt that Warner wanted to push them under the bus.

Fairfax Media even claimed that Warner could have been the primary instigator with Smith simply agreeing to play a part since the southpaw was usually the team's ball manager, which in the third Test of the ongoing four-match series was taken over by Bancroft.

The report on The Sydney Morning Herald further claimed that several cricketers of the team did not want to step on the field with Warner again.

Cricket Australia's head of integrity Iain Roy and executive Pat Howard have already flown from Cape Town to Johannesburg to meet with CA's chief executive James Sutherland and hand over their findings.

It has been learnt that the duo held interview sessions with the players, management and staff over the past couple of days.

Meanwhile, owing to the one Test ban that has been handed out to Smith by the International Cricket Council (ICC), Matt Renshaw has been asked to join the squad for the fourth game of the series.

David Warner has reportedly angered his Australian team-mates by 'going rogue' at the side's hotel in South Africa.

The 31-year-old batsman stood down as vice-captain for the remainder of the third Test against South Africa after Steve Smith admitted that Australia's 'leadership group' were behind a ball-tampering scandal involving Cameron Bancroft.

Cricket Australia are set to investigate the incident and it's understood the positions of Warner, Smith and coach Darren Lehmann are under serious threat.

Warner has infuriated his team-mates at their hotel in Cape Town by drinking champagne with his non-cricket friends.

It's claimed the disgraced batsman has also left the squad's Whatsapp group and players want him removed from the hotel before an altercation occurs.

James Sutherland, CEO of Cricket Australia, is due to arrive in Cape Town on Tuesday night to dish out penalties for Warner and Smith.

The report states that Warner was the 'ring-leader' of the ball-tampering scandal which took place at lunch during day three of the third Test versus South Africa.

England legend Ian Botham has doubts over Smith's claim that Australia's coaches had no knowledge of the incident.

'How deep does it go? The players are saying that the management weren't involved, which I hope is true,' Botham said on Sky Sports.

'I don't think this decision was made by Smith and Warner, so who else was involved?'.

The reception is alerted by dialing 500 at the nearest hotel phone.

Then follow the receptionist's instructions.

If the power of the hotel goes off, there will be emergency lighting, making you able

to follow the escape routes.

At the hotel there is fire extinguishing material available at the following locations.

And you will find the fire stairs here.

It is important to remember that you should not use the hotel's lifts under a fire situation

Instead, use the fire stairs.

When the alarm sounds go towards the hotel reception,

Two thieves are on the run from police after a major jewelry theft in Paris on Wednesday.  A group of five hatchet-wielding robbers smashed the windows of Paris' Ritz Hotel and stole the jewelry about 6:30 p.m.

Police told the publication that three of the thieves were caught as they tried to flee.

Two robbers managed to get away with nearly $5.4 million in merchandise.  "We heard a loud noise and lots of racket in the street," one hotel employee told AFP.

"Passers-by took refuge in the hotel.

We didn't know what was going on until someone told us there had been a robbery." Authorities shut down the streets after the incident and sealed off the Ritz.

French Interior Minister Gérard Collomb tweeted his praise of the French authorities for the swift and professional handling of the situation.  "Armed robbery at the Ritz: three of the presumed thieves already arrested by police from the 2nd arrondissement," Collomb wrote.  Their sang froit, their professionalism and their quick reactions do the police proud.

I am grateful to them."  The Ritz Hotel is in Place Vendôme, a prestigious square known for its luxury retailers and hotels.

Last March, two Americans were robbed of more than $400,000 in jewels in the square.
