News on Youtube Feb 1 2019

Hi! Today we will make a review of our new concrete clocks, our little product line. Let's go!

For those who have not seen our previous videos about concrete clocks, about marble clocks, I will tell you.

This model was developed by the famous St. Petersburg designer Yaroslav Mizonzhnikov, and we have the video about it.

We will insert it somewhere here, be sure to look, it is very interesting.

And in the end we decided to experiment, and launched many different variations, look please: by color, by texture. In my opinion, it is cool.

A few words about logos. We have thought for a long time how to make them on concrete, and came to two options

Variant 1 is a gold nameplate. We found a company that makes such logos from metal on a glue base. That's grate!

And there is one more variant. Here I have a case. This is an indented logo and there will be such variations too.

We turn directly to the review of models of concrete. We have chosen 2 main areas in which we experiment.

The first one is color. There are lots of variations.

By the way, the color is added at the stage of preparation of the mixture, the cases themselves are not painted

The colors are blue, purple, pink, coral, two variants of green, this one I would call brick, yellow, of course, white and gray.

By the way, what do you think, what other colors for our concrete clocks should we try?

And the second direction of development for our concrete clocks is experiments with the texture and surface of these clocks.

I will show you

There are 2 primary colors with which we experiment.

It is white. Look at this, for example. Here the minimum amount of erosion is added.

By the way, there is still a logo.

Speaking of erosion, it is done after the concrete has hardened and dried

the body is treated by chemical substance and such recesses are obtained, but of course, some of the recesses remain after pouring, they are not filled

And there is a rougher variant, this one, here we tried to make the maximum destruction, erosion, and we think it is quite interesting.

We continue to experiment with it.

Another color variant is gray.

Here, too, there is a little bit of such destruction and erosion is added, this gray is smooth, it can still be just smooth, without erosion, just plain gray.

And the second gray color is so rough, something like a moonstone, and more like a classic concrete. And it can be like this with erosion too, or it can be just smooth.

And recently I came to idea to paint one of the concrete clocks in a modern style.

In one of the previous videos I talked about the artist and calligrapher, we ordered a nameplate for the clocks that we give Casey Neistat

and I later got acquainted with his works and thought that it would be a good idea if he also painted one of our clocks in modern calligraphy style.

Soon I will show you what will come of it.

Friends, write below, in the comments, what you liked best and in what direction we should still experiment.

And generally, give a like to this video if you enjoy it and our new concrete clocks.

And do not forget to subscribe to our channel and click "a bell" in order not to miss the following video with a painted concrete clock. See you soon!

Fallschirmjäger FJR6 Carentan - Présentation d'uniforme - Duration: 23:15.

WARNING - This uniform features uncensored insignia by historical fidelity.

However, no policy will be tolerated in the comments, just as it's banned from my videos. If these insignia shock you, I invite you to discover my other videos on the allied uniforms, also very interesting.

Hello everyone and welcome to this new uniform presentation video. Today I'm going to present you the uniform worn by an Unterfelwebel integrated in the Fallschirmjäger during the Battle of Carentan.

If you have a feeling of "déjà vu", it's normal. I chose to present you an improved version of the first video I could do, which you will find in the description if you want to compare with the old version.

I received quite a lot of bad negative reviews on the first one, so it was important for me to present something clean this time. Other videos with other versions of FJ outfits may come in the future.

But first of all, I have to warn you of several sensitive points, as usual.

First of all, this video is only a base that will be used to build your uniform, and you should not be spared to buy books, specialized magazines or any Internet searches.

Then you are about to see the presentation of a uniform with uncensored insignia. It's voluntary, I choose not to hide them by historical fidelity, this video is not political.

This doesn't mean that I don't condemn the atrocities of the Third Reich, but these insignia are part of history, and to forget history is to be condemned to repetition.

If you have any comments, then you probably know more than me about it, feel free to comment at the bottom of this video.

I want to thank SWIT airsoft and DENIX for their support, you will find the link of the respective sites in the description of this video.

I will only show what I wear to avoid a video that would be 2 hours long and cost thousands of Euros, and it will allow me to present other configurations in the future.

You will find the complete list of elements that constitute this outfit that I will present you in the description of this video, with the corresponding timing.

HISTORY

Here is a brief history of the 2nd German Parachute Division, to which was attached the 6th Fallschirmjäger Regiment that I represent.

The 2nd division was formed in February 1943 in Brittany in the region of Vannes, and attached to the 7th Corps.

The division is formed from several regiments of paratroopers: regiments or battalions of hunters, artillery, panzer and engineers.

At the end of May 1942, the division went to the region of Avignon and was established as a strategic reserve, then sent to Italy a month later.

On September 8, 1943, the unit moved to Rome to disarm its garrison.

Three days later, the 1st company FallschirmJäger Regiment 7 participated in the rescue of Mussolini in Gran Sasso in Italy.

At the end of November 1943, part of the division was transferred to Shitomir in Russia, while the other part remained in Italy for incorporation into the new 4th Parachute Division.

In the coming months, the division fought in Russia in various cities like Kiev in January 1944, or Kishinev in April of the same year.

In May 1944, the impoverished division moved to Cologne-Wahn for a period of rest and reconstruction, then was sent to Normandy a month later.

It participates in few fights, but the most notable will be the Battle of Carentan, against the 101st American Airborne Division. It was the 6th Regiment stationed there.

In August and September, the division participated in the Battle of Brest, until the surrender of part of the division on September 19, 1944 after being encircled.

The order of reactivation was published on September 24, 1944, and all the remains of the old division were gathered in Amersfoort, in the Netherlands.

The new division was ready for action in early December 1944, with three new regiments:FallschirmJäger Regiment 2, 7 and 23.

The division returned to action in Arnhem in January 1945, among other cities, and it ended the war at Wesel, in the pocket of the Ruhr in April 1945.

UNIFORM

The paratroopers' outfit was completely different depending on whether they were in Crete, North Africa, Italy or Normandy. I will present you different configurations in the future,

wanting to make you discover all these variants.

The main difficulty when making a Fallschirmjäger uniform is to be able to find all the equipment you will need, some elements beig difficult to find in original, and even in copy.

The M38 jump pants were designed only for the Fallschirmjäger. It's made of gray wool and has multiple pockets.

The straps are not provided with the pants, but it's strongly recommended to wear in addition to a possible belt, passersby being arranged for this use.

It has two pockets at the back and a loop on each side to tighten the best at the waist.

A pocket is located on each side of the pants, in classic places, but have an additional flap closed by a snap. Two openings are made at the knees to slip kneepads protection.

It was however more convenient to wear the knee pads over the pants, not to lose too much mobility. A small pocket at the front of the jump pants can store a pocket watch and also closes with a snap.

A lace keeps the bottom of the pants in the jump boots, so that the pants are "bloused" over the boots, as worn here.

There are two types of boots specifically designed for paratroopers. The most widespread model is the 2nd type, the first type being specific for the beginning of the war, and rather anecdotal.

The latter had a lateral lacing, when the 2nd type presented here has a frontal lacing with 2 pairs of 12 eyelets. Some boots may have hooks instead of eyelets for faster lacing.

The second type was developed in 1939, although we can find 1st types throughout the conflict depending on the flow of stocks.

The sole should be smooth, made of leather with small nails on the circumference, but this is a cheap model made of imitation leather.

Just as the Heer's troops had their shirts to go under the tunic, the Luftwaffe had its own shirt color. The cut is the same as for the Heer, only the color differs.

But it turned out that the Luftwaffe staff preferred to use their blue shirts for the outfit and/or outfit, and preferred to use Heer's M43 gray shirts when it came to fighting.

Like the Luft model, it has two chest pockets and closes with 4 buttons on the front.

Passers and buttons on the shoulders allow you to attach shoulder boards, but I chose to remove the buttons to prevent the webbing crushes these buttons on my shoulders.

An identification plate, which is mandatory for all soldiers, is hung around the neck by means of a lace.

The Fliegerbluse M40 2nd type flight jacket is made of dark gray wool slightly bluish. The 2nd model was introduced in December 1940, and is an evolution of the 1935 model.

The Fliegerbluse was worn by all Luftwaffe personnel, including paratroopers.

It has two inside pockets and two outside pockets with flaps, which distinguishes it from the previous model. The flaps of the outer pockets are closed by granular buttons.

A Luftwaffe special chest eagle is worn on the right chest of the jacket, embroidered badge on blue Luftwaffe background.

Yellow collar tabs are mounted with two gulls for the rank of Unterfeldwebel, confirmed by the characteristic shoulder straps, and the specific silver braid of the NCOs sewn on the collar.

A bar on the right chest testifies that our paratrooper was decorated with the Iron Cross 2nd class, did at least 4 years of active service in the Luftwaffe, he participated in the Anschluss and the annexation of the Sudetenland in 1938 and 1939.

A band of arms "Afrika" is found on the left sleeve, 15cm from the bottom of the sleeve, showing that our soldier participated in the campaign of North Africa.

Our paratrooper is decorated with the badge of the wounded black (for 1 minimum injury) and a paratrooper's badge.

Be careful to place your eagle, there is no marker for sewing. Get inspired by vintage photos to help you. There is a hook on each side to support the belt.

It was very common for the paras to use scarves from civilian life, often the scarf of their fiancée or girlfriend. Our paratrooper doesn't derogate from this tradition, with this scarf belonging to his wife.

Attention, the wearing of the blue scarf with white dots worn by 80% of the reenactors is not found in the vintage photos.

The jump blouse or Knochensack is one of the most characteristic elements of the Fallschirmjäger uniform.

Originally designed solely for parachute jumping (hence its name and shape, which allowed the equipment to be worn under the blouse), it was finally used in combat.

Its many pockets also allowed to carry a lot of materials that it wasn't possible to carry with the Feldbluse.

The type 3 smock has a "splinter" camouflage, closes with large bakelite buttons, and goes down to mid-thigh.

On the blouse can be sewn the Luftwaffe chest eagle. For you to choose the background color of the insignia, I chose to take a Feldbluse eagle, but it was possible to take an eagle on a camouflaged background.

The flaps on the bottom end of the blouse could be snap-fastened to create shorts around the thighs.

However, these snaps are not practical, so the paras used them seldom, leaving the blouse free.

On the side, press buttons to bend the gown, and two loops at the back allow to pass the handle of the shovel and a rocket launcher.

This is a reproduction from a famous German site, passed in the washmachine and worn many times to naturally damage it. Wearing the Feldbluse is not mandatory if the jump smock is worn.

Be careful to hide your Feldbluse collar tabs if you wear it underneath.

Hat for rest, whether at the back or on the front: the blue gray wool side cap has the Luftwaffe specific eagle, and a cockade sewn on the front. This cut appeared in 1940, also used for the SS side caps.

These insignias are embroidered on a background of gray-blue woolen cloth. The specific model for officers will vary slightly, so this cap is specifically designed for EM and NCO.

On the middle of the war, the cap M43 has appeared, the cap doesn't meet the needs to protect the ears in case of extreme cold.

Thus, a cap M43 was designed from a cap, on which a flap was added, buttoned at the front by two granular buttons, A visor was added.

This model is also specific for the troop and NCOs, and features a Luft eagle and a red white black cockade, these insignias being made on a gray-blue wool cloth background.

The Fallschirmhelm is the helmet created especially for German paratroopers. It's an adapted version of the M35 helmet of the Wehrmacht, thus giving the M38 helmet.

Indeed, the flaps of the M35 were cut, so as not to be caught in the lines of the parachute during the jump.

The M38 para helmet is distinguished by the modified shape: it's a simple shell with a more sophisticated leather interior. The chinstrap also allows better support during the jump.

The helmet badges were not put, typical for helmets made after 1942.

Note that the bottom of the liner has been intentionally opened so that the helmet is further pressed on the head and thus avoid as much as possible to have a strange shape.

It seems that this modification was made on certain helmets during the second war.

The basic color of the helmet is blue-gray, but with the diversity of theaters of operation, camouflage has been added and adapted. Some helmets were even concreted with sand or sawdust to avoid glare.

Here, a camouflage in green and yellow was applied, corresponding to the 6th FJR. At present, the original M38 helmets are rare and expensive. Beware of very well patinated copies...

EQUIPMENT

The German paratrooper was equipped fairly lightly, but to say the least effective. Each soldier will be able to have his specialization and thus particular material according to his rank, his specialty and his weapon.

We are here on the MP40 version, our soldier being a NCO, so potentially a squad leader.

Many items such as the shovel, the mess kit, the Zeltbahn have been left out, the goal of our soldier being to perform a short and violent flash action.

All equipment is attached to a black leather belt, specially designed for EM and NCO. A Luftwaffe belt buckle will adjust and close the belt.

On the left side, a P38 holster in soft black leather will be worn. It allows to hold the Walther P38 and an additional magazine of 8 cartridges of 9mm.

The Walther P38 was designed, as its name suggests, in 1938, and has begun to massively replace the Luger P08 from 1942.

This is an airsoft gun from WE I reworked, on which original post-war grips have been adapted.

The bread bag was the same as that used in the Heer. It has two rings and two passers to be able to fix the canteen.

It consists of a 0.75 liter can, surrounded by a felt cover, here brown.

A Bakelite cup is placed on the top, held by a leather strap, itself connected to the cap, which allows to fix the canteen on the bread bag with a hook. Be careful, the blue cover never existed.

Our NCO being equipped with an MP40, it's necessary to be able to transport the magazines and ammunition. Thus MP40 pouches in canvas and leather are worn on the front.

The light black leather Y-straps is hung on the front of the loops on the MP40 pouches, and directly on the back on the belt, a leather reinforcement securing the hook.

The most common model of binoculars encountered during the second war was the Dienstglas 6x30. The 6 referred to magnification, when the 30 indicated the diameter of the lens in millimeters.

They were made of different materials such as aluminum, zinc and bakelite. The metal binoculars were first supplied with a leather accessory, and the late war models were anodized, painted or tanned.

We can also find models painted in beige or "yellow sand".

A grenade model 24 is here slipped into the belt. It was nicknamed "Mash" for its shape, and consists of a hollow wooden handle, on which is fixed an explosive charge.

At the other end will be a small porcelain ball at the end of a string. A tweak on the string will light a wick that lasts 5 seconds before the charge in the head explodes.

Assemblies of several heads could constitute a formidable anti-tank weapon. The handle could be used to launch the grenade farther than a conventional grenade, by slingshot effect.

It could reach a distance of 27 to 37 meters, against about 14 meters for a classic hand grenade.

The Maschinenpistole Vierzig is the successor of the MP38, designed by Heinrich Vollmer. Attention, only the MP38 can be nicknamed Schmeisser.

The MP40 had a cadence of 500 to 600 rounds per minute, which made it a handy weapon, and had a weight of 4KG empty, for 4,70kg once the 32 cartridges of 9x19mm inserted staggered in the magazine.

Between 746,000 and 1,100,000 MP40 were manufactured between 1940 and 1945, and the use of Bakelite, like the MP38, was revolutionary for the time, and launched a new mode of weapons made in other materials than metal and wood.

The cocking lever, located on the left side, had a rail to put the weapon in safety. A strap is set on the side adapted to your strong hand with a ring at the front that can be disassembled and placed on one side or another.

This is a replica from Denix, you will find the link of the review in the description of this video.

Obviously, the parachute army being an elite unit, many personalizations and fantasies could be found, especially since the Fallschirmjäger had access to the equipment of the regular army.

However, the specific equipment for the German paratroopers was becoming harder to acquire as the war years grew, especially as they were only used as ground troops after Crete.

The armament corresponded to the rank of the soldier, to the available stock and finally to the personal choice.

The grenade was carried here, in front of the belt, for the purpose of serving quickly, because it will interfere with the movements of our soldier, who won't be able to lie down quickly when needed.

The handgun was worn for officers and NCO in addition to their personal armament. For the EM, only the servants of collective arms were disposed to have a handgun in a regulation way.

The P38 replaced the P08, but both could be found throughout the war, in addition to other weapons like the Browning GP35.

The German paratrooper's outfit is quite simple: The Feldbluse set and the M38 pants, suitably slipped into the jump boots.

The M40 side cap or M43 cap is added to the choice, and the whole is completed with the leather belt for the EM and the NCO, with the Mauser bayonet on the left side, stored in its leather scabbard.

SUMMARY

The German Paratrooper jump boots are here the second model, the most common at the end of the war, the first model with lateral lacing being more expensive to produce.

The leather sole is normally studded with very small fine nails, but this is a cheap reproduction of jump boots.

They can be laced over the M38 jumpers, which should be "bloused" over the top of the shoe. Belgian jump boots would also do the trick.

The gray M38 jump pants were specially designed for the Fallschirmjäger.

It's made of wool, like all the German trousers of the time, which implies that you must wear long underpants below, otherwise your legs will be irritated.

It has pockets closed by snaps to secure the contents. It's advisable to wear straps, and/or a belt to have a good support of the pants.

Kneepads may be worn under the pants, slipped through the opening on the sides of the knees, or over the pants, if they have to be quickly removed.

The trousers are attached to the calf by laces, so as to keep the pants in the jump boots, and to avoid as much as it takes in branches.

As with the entire German army, a shirt was included in each fighter's package. There are several shirt models used by paras.

The most prevalent on the European theater of operation was the gray shirt, the blue shirt being more planned for early war and for out/rest outfit.

The identification tag of the soldier will be worn around the neck with a lace, to identify the soldier if he died.

Originally, the shirt has two buttons on the shoulders for shoulder straps, but I chose to remove them because they are not comfortable when wearing the webbing.

The Fliegerbluse M40 is here a model of the 2nd type. It's made of gray-blue wool and closes with 5 buttons. But only four were used, the collar of the jacket being open.

It has collar tabs with the rank of Unterfeldwebel, or Staff-sergeant in the US army. The collar tabs have a yellow background, for flight crew, with two gulls corresponding to the rank.

This rank being of the NCO class, there is a tress around the collar.

As for decorations, we have a medal ribbon with a 2nd class iron cross, the Luftwaffe seniority medal (4 years of service), as well as the commemorative medals of Anschluss and Czechoslovakia.

We have a paratrooper certificate, for the 6 required jumps + the completed parachutist training and a black wounded badge, for 1 or 2 wounds. On the chest, a chest eagle on a gray-blue background is sewn.

An AFRIKA armband is sewn on the left sleeve, 15cm from the bottom of the sleeve, attesting that our NCO participated in the African campaign.

We guess two metal hooks, worn on each side of the jacket, to maintain the belt at the waist, regardless of the weight transported. The Fliegerbluse was worn by all Luftwaffe personnel.

To decorate and personalize an outfit, nothing like a small item belonging to your wife or your girlfriend. Here, a navy blue scarf will be tied around the neck of the soldier.

This element is of course, not regulatory, but was found a lot. Avoid the eternal blue scarf with white dots, not seen on the photos of time.

The little plus is the touch of feminine flagrance, but complicated to return you on video!

The jump smock presented here is type 3, with a camouflage type "Splinter". It can be worn from Italy, so 1943 until the end of the war.

A chest eagle on a gray-blue background is placed on the right chest. Several models could be found, but the most common was the wool one.

There are many pockets with zippers to store all the small equipment.

A slot for a flare pistol is even provided on the right side of the smock, while a passerby can accommodate the shovel handle on the left side.

An elastic part reinforces the inside of the sleeves to keep the smock against the body during the jump.

Snaps are placed between the legs to close the suit, but they were not practical to use.

This is a reproduction purchased in a famous German Militaria store, twice passed to the washing machine at 60°.

The M38 helmet was a helmet derived from the classic M35 model of the infantry, but improved for German paratroopers. At the beginning of the war, it included insignia that were quickly removed in 1940 and then in 1942.

It's camouflaged here with beige and green paint, and cemented during the painting to avoid glare.

The back of the helmet was deliberately opened to allow a better pressing of the helmet on the head, this reproduction having a a little too high bomb. We will notice the basic color, gray-blue, inside the shell.

The shine on the helmet is only related to the environment at the time of shooting: I put my helmet in the mud to decorate the camouflage, from where the few herbs that can drag.

The cap M43 is a cap created, as the name suggests, in 1943. This model was intended for the troop and NCOs.

Its front flap, closed by two buttons, could be folded over the ears to protect them from wind and cold. it has a Luftwaffe eagle and a cockade sewn on the front of the cap.

The specific Luftwaffe M40 side cap has a Luftwaffe Eagle and a cockade both placed on the front flap of the side cap.

It's specific to EM and NCOs. It's from this first model that the Waffenfarbe was suppressed in the rest of the German army.

The parachutist's webbing was worn over the camouflaged smock, although it was designed to be worn over the equipment to secure it during the jump.

It's minimalist to be mobile and efficient, for a boost before retreating.

A black leather belt allows you to carry MP40 magazine pouches in canvas. On the left side, the holster contains a Walther P38 and an additional 8 cartridges magazine.

A black light leather Y-straps will support the set and will be placed to the hooks of MP40's pouches.

This one is however optional, the belt not being so loaded.

A bread bag, which contains the necessary to feed for a few days, will come to support the canteen, consisting of a can in a cover with a bakelite cup.

A Luftwaffe belt buckle, specific to the EM and NCO, comes close the leather belt.

A NCO may have binoculars to check the enemy's positions and the position of his men. Some were painted yellow for camouflage, but others could be black.

This is after the war French binoculars, bought in antiques, repainted in a traditional way.

A leather strap is used to hang the binoculars around the neck, and they could be transported in a brown leather box, deliberately left out by our paratrooper.

Characteristic grenade of the German army, the grenade M24, which takes its name from its year of manufacture, was known to be very effective.

The bead at the end was connected to a string, which made the link, in the handle, with a wick of 5 seconds, which will explode the charge contained in the head of the grenade.

The MP40 was the most widely manufactured automatic weapon by the Germans with around one million copies produced.

A straight magazine of 32 cartridges is placed under the body, and the weapon could fire at a rate of between 500 and 600 rounds per minute.

The steel stock could be unfolded, allowing support and better stability. This system was also used on other weapons, such as the Soviet PPS43.

A lug at the front allowed to put the barrel on a hard obstacle to minimize the recoil of the weapon,

and the strap could be put on either side for left-handed shooters, although all weapon controls are intended for right-handed.

It was replaced to the maximum by the STG44 on the end of the war, but it arrived too late to change the outcome.

Pixel 3 XL Review: After the Hype | 3 Months Later, Camera Worth it? - Duration: 10:20.

Hi guys, it's KJ the MiTechGuy here, and this video is all about the Pixel 3 XL.

And since this is an after the hype review, I get to review this phone in the context

of using a bunch of other phones since.

So today, I'm not really going to focus too much on the specifications, and instead,

I'll talk about what it would be like using the Google Pixel 3 XL on a daily basis.

Huge shoutout to Xcentz for sponsoring this video.

And let's get right into it.

The Pixel 2 XL made a lot of headlines last year because of the low-quality OLED panel

on a flagship device.

This year, the Pixel 3 XL made a lot of headlines because of its notch.

Leading up to the launch, people didn't even believe that the leaks were true because

the notch situation seemed so bad.

But unfortunately the leaks were very true.

The Pixel 3 XL's design isn't simply terrible because it has a notch.

A lot of phones have notches.

It is the fact that the notch is so large that it's basically the height of two notification

bars.

I just can't really believe that Google couldn't find a better implementation of

two front facing cameras and the speakers.

But outside of the notch, I really like the design of the 3 XL.

I like the two-toned glass back that now allows for wireless charging, and I appreciate how

well put together the whole device feels in my hand.

It's hard to explain.

And I also really do appreciate the fact that it's one of the only flagship out right

now that has dual front-firing speakers.

It makes it so that you're never blocking the speakers when watching any sort of content,

and that is a huge plus for me.

Speaking of watching content, the 6.3 inch AMOLED display is manufactured by Samsung,

so we can rest assured knowing that there is a high quality panel on Google's latest

flagships.

And in my use of the phone, I can say that the display is really high quality and is

up there with the other high-end OLED screens on the market right now.

Text is always crisp, while colors in images and video look great as well.

I've also never really had any issues with how dim or bright the phone screen gets.

Overall, I don't think anybody can complain too much about the new displays on the Pixel

3 XL.

Anybody who has been following the Pixel phones knows that they always produce some fantastic

images.

And everything has only gotten a notch better with the new Pixel 3's.

The 12 Megapixel single camera on the back of this phone gives the software enough information

to work with to create some stunning pictures.

It's like it takes the image, someone edits it, and it spits out a picture that is ready

to post.

Sometimes my friends can't figure out which photos were taken with the Pixel and which

photos were taken with my A7iii when they see the images on social media.

What really sets the Pixel's rear camera apart from the rest of the flagships right

now is its portrait mode.

I admit the colors don't always turn out the way that I would want them, but the overall

detail, clarity, and usually perfect background blur create some extremely high quality portrait

pictures.

And since it only uses software for its portrait shots, it can use that software for selfies

as well.

And now you can get even more in frame in your selfies because of the fact that Google

implemented a second wide-angle selfie camera to the front of their devices.

Even when I am reviewing other phones, the cameras on this phone have been so good to

me that I always have to keep the Pixel 3 XL on me in case I have to take a picture

of something or someone.

The camera is that good.

If you wanted to see how the Pixel 3's cameras compared head to head to the other top smartphone

camera systems right now, make sure to check out the camera comparisons I have up on my

channel.

These other smartphone cameras have gotten really good as well.

But whenever I go back to the Pixel, it still manages to wow me.

And since launch, Google has updated the camera to have a night mode, which works very well,

even in the worst of conditions.

It can even bring light to a completely dark environment.

This camera-focused device has got one heck of a camera.

To some people, that's all they had to hear.

They take a ton of pictures, and they simply have to have the best smartphone camera regardless

of anything else.

And honestly, I think that is completely justifiable.

But for the rest of you who are wondering if the overall package of the Pixel 3 XL is

a good device, let me tell you my thoughts.

This phone only has 4 GB of RAM, but I have never had problems with it slowing down on

me due in large part to the fact that the phone is running stock Android, which is optimized

for this phone.

I know other YouTubers have had problems with their Pixel 3's slowing down.

I haven't had those problems so far.

Maybe I'll encounter them the more I use the phone, but I'm actually pleased with its performance.

I'll admit that phones like the iPhone XS Max and even the OnePlus 6T feel more fluid

than the Pixel, but it isn't by much.

And if I hadn't used all three of those phones for an extended period of time, I would've

been surprised to even fathom that phones were capable of being smoother than the Pixel

3 XL.

Scrolling through various menus of the device and multitasking between apps that are open

have felt very fluid to me as of late.

At launch, there were some bugs, but for the most part, I haven't noticed anything out

of the ordinary recently.

The phone just works.

It works very well.

Although Google doesn't include things like expandable storage, a headphone jack, or facial

recognition the Pixel 3 XL's are finally loaded with the flagship features we have been asking

for.

As I mentioned earlier, the back of the phone is glass now, so we finally have wireless

charging on a Google device.

With the Pixel Stand, you can even wirelessly charge your phone while it works like a Google

Home Hub.

The back of the phone also has its perfectly-positioned fingerprint scanner that is very fast and

very accurate.

What's new to the Pixel lineup is the phone's IP68 water and dust resistant rating, which

gives you that extra peace of mind with your phone.

What hasn't changed is the fact that the new Pixel 3's remain one of very few phones out

right now that maintain dual front firing speakers.

I'll admit, the audio quality itself isn't as good as phones like the XS Max, but with

front-firing speakers, you won't cover either one no matter how you hold your phone.

Google even attempts to solve any sort of storage worries you may have by including

unlimited full-quality photo and video storage through Google Photos until 2022.

On top of these other features, the Pixel 3's can still tell you what song is playing

internally, and can even so much as answer your phone calls for you if you ever wanted

it to using its new call screening feature.

And the cool thing is every time Google comes up with a new feature or OS, they will debut

them on their latest Pixel devices first.

I wanted to quickly mention battery life because it's an important topic of discussion for

smartphones.

You don't have to worry with the Pixel 3 XL.

I am a very heavy user with my smartphones, and just like most of the smartphones released

recently, the 3 XL can comfortably make it through a day, but doesn't quite get you to

two.

You just have to make sure to charge the phone every night, and battery life shouldn't be

something you are going to worry about.

The Pixel 3 XL is a terrific phone.

The only thing is that its getting harder to convince people to spend almost $1000 on

a smartphone when we see what phones like the OnePlus 6T are capable of.

That being said, the Pixel 3's go on sale quite often, and at the time of me making

this video, the Pixel 3 and 3 XL are discounted to $649 and $749 respectively on the Google

store website.

So if you were ever thinking about pulling the trigger on a Pixel 3 device, make sure

to check to see if there are any sort of deals.

But even at its high original retail price of $899, I praise Google for actually including

USB-C earphones in the box, and also the fact that they include unlimited Google Photos

storage.

Online storage usually requires a pricey monthly subscription, and unlimited means you can

take as many photos and videos as you would ever want to.

Before I give my final thoughts and feelings about the Pixel 3 XL, I wanted to talk to

you a little bit about another cool product by Xcentz, who made this video possible.

Whether you forget to charge your device the night before or you just happen to be out

later than you had expected, a quality portable charger is something you should have at all

times.

This one from Xcentz is compact and lightweight so you don't have to worry about it taking

up any space in your bag.

You could even just keep it in your pocket.

It houses a high quality 3350 mAh LG battery inside of its very aesthetic aluminum shell.

It's smart circuitry delivers the ideal charge-rate for any smartphone.

It even doubles as a very bright flashlight so it stays useful even when its not in use.

Check it out through the link in the description, and use the coupon code below to receive 20%

off the charger.

The Pixel 3 XL happened to be released at the end of a great year for smartphones.

We have seen feature-packed phones like the Note 9 and Mate 20 Pro, while we have seen

OnePlus continue to make strides as they are even being sold by carriers now.

We have even seen the new iPhones really take huge steps to improve their camera systems.

So where do the new Pixel 3's stand?

To me, it's my favorite Android device.

Hear me out as to why.

First off, I can't recommend this phone to someone who doesn't have much money to spend

on a phone.

The new OnePlus devices can do 95% of what the Pixel 3's can with a design that I actually

prefer.

But because of my channel, I am in a position to be able to basically choose which smartphone

I want to carry with me at any point.

None of the manufacturers pay for me to pick or use any one device.

So for me, especially as a content creator, I hold a lot of value in a phone's camera

system.

And this phone's camera is incredible, and to me, is still the smartphone camera king.

And to be able to take an unlimited amount of photos and videos without worrying about

storage is invaluable.

The Pixel 3 XL may have a hideous notch that is double the length of any other notch I've

seen, but it happens to be a pretty well rounded devices.

It's fast, has the latest and greatest features from Google, and now has other top flagship

features like IP68 water and dust resistance and wireless charging.

I understand that it doesn't have as many features as the Note 9 or Mate 20 Pro, and

also isn't as good of a value as the OnePlus 6T, but I also recognize the fact that despite

all of this, the Pixel 3 XL has enough going for it where it has become my favorite Android

device.

Hopefully this video was able to help you decide whether the Pixel 3 XL will be worth

it for you.

Different people hold different features to a higher regard when it comes to smartphones,

so its understandable that given what I said, you still don't prefer the Pixel 3 XL over

other devices.

As for this video, that's all I had to talk about today.

If you aren't already, make sure to follow me on Instagram and Twitter if you haven't

already and DM me on those platforms and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible,

and as for this channel, make sure you're subscribed and have the notification bell

clicked because I have a lot of cool videosthat I know you guys will like coming out in the

future.

As always, thanks for watching, and I will see you in the next video.

30 Second Book Review: King of Scars [CC] - Duration: 0:31.

If you liked Nikolai in the Grisha trilogy, this book has all the banter and personality

and we get to see from his perspective.

Yes, you must read the Grisha trilogy and Six of Crows duology first - events and characters

of both are explicitly mentioned.

The book is set up like Six of Crows, but less action-packed and character-driven, which

is likely why it's less satisfying of a read, though we still get backstory and development.

The love interests are... questionable, and the Saints thing is still weird to me, though

I did enjoy its resolution.

While not as full as I would have liked, it was still a very enjoyable read, and gets

a 4/5 from me.

D.A. to review video evidence in case of O.C. surgeon charged with rapes - Duration: 10:06.

The Orange County district attorney has ordered an examination of all evidence, including numerous videos, in the case of a Newport Beach surgeon and his girlfriend charged with sexually assaulting seven women

Dist. Atty. Todd Spitzer said that after the review, he will determine how to proceed in the case against Dr

Grant Robicheaux and his girlfriend, Cerissa Riley, whose high-profile prosecutions were launched by Spitzer's predecessor, Tony Rackauckas

Advertisement >  The move comes after defense attorneys filed a motion for evidence, accusing Rackauckas of recklessly misrepresenting depictions on video of the couple engaged in sexual acts with intoxicated women and claiming his office had not reviewed any materials supporting such inflammatory claims

The charges and salacious details involving the reality-TV star — including accusations that the doctor drugged and raped his victims — made national headlines, but defense lawyers say forensic experts found no evidence of sexual assault on the videos or people in any state in which they could not consent to sex

After Rackauckas charged the couple in September with sexual assaults on two women in 2016, Spitzer publicly accused his political rival of being slow to file charges and using the case to bolster his profile as his reelection prospects sagged

In a pair of news conferences at the time, Rackauckas said the 38-year-old Robicheaux and Riley, 31, met their victims in Newport Beach bars and restaurants, lured them to their swank home, where they plied them with drugs, and while they were drunk or drugged, had sex with them

He said there were thousands of videos supporting such claims, but weeks later, the office in a statement said it "never said all the images are incriminating, sexual in nature or show incapacitation or intoxication

"  The couple's attorneys are now seeking a court order turning over communications related to the videos among the district attorney's office, its forensic laboratory and the Newport Beach Police Department to determine when the videos were reviewed and the basis for Rackauckas' statements

"Despite the lack of any 'rape videos,' and despite the lack of any meaningful review of the videos by the prosecutor's office, the statements that were made set off a frenzy that completely destroyed the integrity of this case and the defendants' ability to a fair trial," according to the filing by attorneys Philip Kent Cohen, Scott Borthwick and Shawn Holley

The comments, the attorneys argued, "were dog whistles to a headline thirsty media and public

"  A former police officer and a private investigator hired by the defense wrote in sworn declarations that they reviewed more than 100,000 videos and said they saw no illegal sex acts

The former officer noted a "relatively small" portion contained sexual content and "none showed illegal sexual activity" or anyone who was unconscious or unable to resist sexual advances

The defense could use that evidence to seek a dismissal of the case.  The couple were initially charged with sexual assaults in 2016 on two women and after the case was publicized, charges involving five more women were filed

Robicheaux faces 17 felonies, including five rape charges, while Riley has been charged with 13 felonies

The charges include rape by use of drugs, kidnap to commit rape and oral copulation by anesthesia

Robicheaux, who appeared on the Bravo reality TV show "Online Dating Rituals of the American Male" and was named "Orange County's Most Eligible Bachelor" by Orange Coast Magazine in 2013, has been charged with attacks dating to 2009

Since their arrest, the couple have maintained their innocence and denied having nonconsensual sex with their accusers

The investigation began in 2016 after complaints by two women who separately told Newport Beach police they were taken to Robicheaux's house on 44th Street and assaulted

One woman described the couple as a "Bonnie and Clyde" team who drugged her and forced her to engage in sex acts, according to court documents

No arrests were made immediately after either incident, but detectives continued to work the case for two years

Advertisement >  According to the charges, Robicheaux and Riley attacked other women during that time

A woman in her mid-30s at the time met Robicheaux and Riley through a mutual acquaintance at a Halloween party in Newport Beach in October 2016, according to prosecutors

The pair are accused of drugging her drink with GHB and raping her after she passed out

She awoke during the assault, prosecutors said.  Another woman, in her early 20s, had dinner with Robicheaux in Newport Beach in April 2017 after they met on a dating app, prosecutors said

She told authorities that Riley showed up during the date and pretended to be Robicheaux's friend, not a love interest

The woman said she went to a bar with them, where they plied her with alcohol and then took her to their home and sexually assaulted her while she was unconscious, prosecutors alleged

The woman awoke during the attack and locked herself in a bathroom for the night, officials said

Another woman in her early 20s met the couple at a Fourth of July party in 2017, and she said she partied and drank with them on a boat a few days later

She told authorities the couple invited her to Robicheaux's house, where the doctor raped her

As part of that investigation, police searched Robicheaux's home in January 2018

The search turned up large quantities of illegal drugs, including GHB, MDMA and cocaine, along with two illegal, unregistered assault rifles, four other firearms and several large-capacity magazines, prosecutors said

But no arrests occurred for nine months.  Spitzer, who was running against Rackauckas in the district attorney's election when the couple were arrested in the fall, obtained the January search warrant in the case and accused the incumbent prosecutor of failing to act

That move led Rackauckas to accuse Spitzer of leaking a sealed court document. An alleged victim identified as only Jane Doe No

5 asked the judge to find Spitzer — who was then an Orange County supervisor — in contempt of court for distributing the affidavit to members of the media

Spitzer said he obtained the search warrant as a public record before it was sealed Sept

11. The contents already had been published by The Times. A judge rescinded an initial order forbidding the media from publishing its contents

WINNER MINO(송민호) ROCKET(로켓) Reaction & Review - Duration: 3:57.

Today I'm going to talk about MINO's ROCKET

Th is song is hard to understand because it is difficult to translate

So I will talk about the meaning of the song

The message of the song is 'I go up higher on a rocket'

What matters is what 'up' means

There can be many meanings, but the meaning we can infer from the lyrics is the highest position in the pop music scene

We can know that through the lyrics

"I'm in the best. What I'm doing these days is like I'm possessed by a ghost"

This is the first lyric

"muri ollaseo" means that someone is in the best condition

"ssuin deuthae gwisin" means a special condition that extends beyond human ability

So these two expressions have the same meaning

It means I'm in a very special condition now

So what does "doing these days" mean? It means what he does on stage as a singer

Let's take a look at the following lyrics

"After praying backstage, I'm possessed by a ghost"

"bingui" means I'm possessed by a ghost

It means after praying before he gets to the stage, he's doing a really amazing performance on stage

That means 'I'm the best'

The following lyrics are also very interesting

"There's no the tense sound in MINO's pronunciation, but I'm a strong guy"

The tense sound is a sound that strain your neck

For example like this...

The tense sound is strong. But MINO's pronunciation is relatively soft and weak

It means I am a strong man, even though my name is soft and weak

This is linked to the following lyrics

"It's an easy name, but you can't buy me even with money"

The name Minho is one of the common names in Korea

So it means that although my name is common and easy, it is not easy to cast me because I am a very special person

To sum up, he's saying I'm special and I'm the best

This message is also at the behind part

"Suck Apollo, but I go to Andromeda, I am Armstrong in front of the weak, you can't drag me, aggro"

This is the story of Neil Armstrong, who went to the moon in the past

In other words, I'm Armstrong, and no matter how much you 'aggro' drag me down, I'll be the first to reach the top

What's interesting is "suck Apollo." Why did he say this?

In Korea, there is a sucking jelly called Apollo

He expressed this

It's a typical hip-hop song that reveals rapper's self-confidence and pride boldly and strongly. It is very attractive

NEW! Tarte SHAPE TAPE Powder Foundation Review/Wear Test/Natural Light/Close ups! | Beauty Banter - Duration: 12:25.

Yes, welcome back thanks so much for stopping by today. I'm an exciting video

I'm gonna be reviewing the brand-new tart shaped a powder foundation

I'm like the weirdo that keeps it in its cardboard packaging for as long as humanly possible

I've had this for a few weeks and it's still in its a little packaging

Let me know in the comments section if you do that, too. I'm not sure why I do what I do. So

We're going to be reviewing this today

We're going to doing a ware test and be showing you it in natural light and be doing super super close-ups

With my macro lens on how it falls and looks on the skin

So if you want to hear all about that and see it demoed keep on watching

If you haven't already done

So definitely go ahead and hit that subscribe button

If you liked my review videos and also hit the notification bell if you don't want to miss any upcoming videos

And if you're excited about this video hit the like button, let's get started

Okay

so this product is it's kind of interesting because if you go on the Tarte website and you go under the foundation tab

Under makeup. This product does not appear under there which is kind of interesting because it's specifically called a powder foundation

but if you go under Prime and set

You will see it first thing. So

On the website. It's called the shaped a pressed powder and on here. It's called the powder foundation

So those are kind of like two different things for me in

my opinion a pressed powder foundation is supposed to give

Equal coverage to a liquid foundation or at least comparable coverage to a liquid foundation if it's just a setting powder

That's a little bit different. So I feel like that's a little confusing. Um, but because it says pressed foundation on the packaging

I'm going to kind of hold it to the expectations that I would any normal powder foundation. So it's described as

Vegan powder player has light to medium cover medium coverage and shows a little extra love to combination and oily skin peeps

It's as it helps cover redness hyperpigmentation and blemishes and more without looking cakey and dry clay helps balance skin

So makeup lasts for 12 hours

Peptide complex helps soften the appearance of fine lines and pores

So it says how to you says to pick it up with a fluffy brush and apply directly to the face and circular motions

for higher coverage wet a sponge with water or setting spray and

For touch-ups lightly, press a dry sponge into the powder. Okay. So basically

Like I said, if it's a powder foundation, I kind of expect it to be able to function

As a foundation alone without anything underneath it meaning no like concealer or foundation

so on one side of my face I'm going to do just

The powder foundation and see how the coverage is

Aside from maybe some concealer under my eyes and on the other side. I'm going to put it over top a

Liquid foundation the wedding one so we can see how it applies as more of like a pressed powder

So it does say to use a fluffy brush. I'm going to use

This brush right here. It's my it cosmetics

Heavenly skin brush because I feel like it picks up more product than a fluffy brush does

And we can also go back in with a wet damp sponge if we need to

sue

and

as usual I'm going to be

zooming in

At the end with my super intense up-close lens so you can see like every pore

implement exactly how it looks on the skin and I'm also going to be showing you guys this in natural light without like

The studio lighting so you can really get a feel for how it looks so

I'm going to really really coat the brush like big-time

Because I already know

This print provide a ton of coverage. So

I'm going to just press it

Now let me throw a tiny bit of concealer under my eyes just so that's not

Distracting because I don't expect it to cover my dark

Circles but I'm just going to apply a tiny bit because I also don't want it to look weird. Okay, so I

Mean that was the initial application and I'm like you guys saw I'm like really really coating the brush. I

Mean I'm seeing a little bit of a soft focus effect and a little bit of a filling in the pores

But as far as coverage, I don't know if you guys are seeing anything, but I'm really not seeing much of any

Actual coverage. So this is the brush I use when I want to get a lot of bang for my buck with powder products

But I'm going to go in with an even more dense brush. This one is by Real Techniques

Cut the coat the brush again

Get right up under my eye just

In case any of you guys do use your pressed foundations as under eye setting powder

I want to show you how that works as well, but

Like I just don't see any any actual coverage of any of the redness or blemishes at all

Which is a little bit confusing

So I have my damp sponge. It is white damn. Hopefully it doesn't like ruin the powder

I'm going to squeeze a little bit more water out of there

So this is a real techniques sponge you guys know, this is like my favorite sponge right now

Highly recommend it. It's insanely soft and I feel like it just blends makeup. So well

So I'm going to just take this

You'll take the flat side

Really get in there

Where's the coverage

Where is it? I?

Don't know like like I said

Does it leaves the skin looking really really?

Nice and smooth and refined and like my pores have kind of really been concealed but like for a pressed foundation

I expect some coverage and that's just the seams translucent to me to be completely honest

This seems like a translucent powder. I mean, are you guys picking up on anything on camera that I'm not seeing in person?

All right, so that's the side with just the powder

the powder foundation

now we're gonna go ahead and apply our wet and wilds and

we're going to apply the

setting powder over top

And see how that works. Okay, so we just have a light layer

up

Anyone else get super red and dry right around their nostrils that's like majorly my problem area lately

So that's just a lightweight layer foundation. I didn't want to go too overboard and I don't take that same action

I'm gonna take a different Russia's same real techniques, but just a little bit more rounded

Dip into the powder again and I'm like digging into powder a little big-time. I'm not going light handed and we're gonna go ahead and

Just yeah, but now it does say to use circular motions

but

That is not how I found that I've gotten the best coverage. So if you want to try that method like

By all means go ahead. But I feel like with a fluffy brush and circular motions. I'm going to be getting eaten less coverage

Usually if I use a dense brush and this like stamping motion, that's how I get the most bang for my buck

so that's just sort of the

technique that

I'm going with

So again, I'm really not seeing it

Provide any additional

coverage

It is a beautiful setting powder though. That's the thing

like I really think it smooths the skin it it gives it like sort of an airbrush like

Uniform finish. I really love it as like a translucent setting powder with maybe a tiny bit of color to it

but as a standalone foundation

There's just nothing to it. There's no there's no coverage

Alright. So again, this is the side with the foundation. This is the side with nothing you

Guys can take a look and I'm going to go ahead and zoom you right in

So we can see exactly how it lays on the skin

Okay guys, so hopefully this is bright enough this is just in front of my window no special lighting

And you can see how it looks

Hey guys, so I'm really sorry about the lighting right now

it is like pitch dark outside cuz that's how it is in winter in the northeast of the United States for

Six months out of the year

We just don't see the Sun so I do apologize about that, but I did want to check in with you guys

I've had the powder on it for about ten hours now and I have to say overall

I'm pretty pleased with the wear. I feel like it leaves the skin looking natural and I

Don't I want to stay hydrated like it doesn't dry the skin out or settle onto dry patches

Which I really really appreciate but it also simultaneously

somewhat controls oil

while also

Keeping the skin looking like a little bit luminous. So it's this weird combination of all these different things

But I really like how it wears. I put it under my eyes today, too

Just to see how it worked under there and I was actually pretty pleased with how it wore under the eyes

There isn't any like brightening that you'll get with other under-eye powders, but it didn't really settle into fine lines under there

it's light enough and kind of

It's lightweight enough and

Since it is an overly drying it actually works pretty well under the eyes

So again, I didn't get any coverage out of it per se but as like a translucent setting powder

I really really like the way this or for me today

Okay, guys, so my final thoughts on this powder foundation. I

Really really like it as an overall setting powder. I really like how it looks overtop a concealer or a foundation

I think it kind of smoothes the skin out makes pores look smaller. It gives you kind of an airbrushed effect

It's very very like lightweight on the skin. So it doesn't feel heavy or cakey at all

In it. Also what I've noticed is after it sets on the skin for a minute

It almost has like a very very slight luminosity to it

So it's really really good for this time of year. If your skin is dry. I feel like it just makes your skin

Look super healthy and kind of hydrated and I've been really liking it for this time of year for that purpose

Um, so overall I'm gonna I'm gonna hang on to the product. I really like the product

I just would never ever use it on its as a standalone foundation because there's almost no coverage to speak up

Just keep in mind that it may be a little bit of a disappointment in that area

Alright guys, so that completes my review. I really really hope you liked the video definitely

Let me know in the comments section what you guys want to see next and I look forward to seeing you in my next video

Take care, and I'll see you soon, right?

So the way it work they both are different plugins

and they work in conjunction.

Dropshipme plug-in focuses on inventory

while the Alidropship plugin gives you the necessary feature

that is required for easy management of your dropshipping store.

And that's why

they are best when they work in conjunction.

So you can also import all the products with Allidropship plugin

but it takes a lot of research and

guesswork, trial and error method

and also it requires a lot of experience to get the best product to sell on your store.

But with dropship me you get all the best selling products,

around 50,000 plus products, to sell on your store and

you don't have to do any guess to work and generate more sales from the very first day.

And you can spend all of your precious time in marketing and advertising your store.

So now, how do you actually use the dropship me plug-in?

So to use it you would install it like any other WordPress plug-in.

And you're ready to go.

You can search for the best selling products in the search bar.

Import with one click, import reviews, change pricing and much more.

So the last thing I want to talk about in this video is the pricing of this plug-in.

And you would be really happy to know that this plugin is free.

But...

if you want to run a

bigger drop shipping store you need to upgrade to their premium plans

which starts from $29 and this will allow you to import a max over 1,500 products.

Also just like any other Aliexpress plug-in this is just one-time fees

which is great!

Now if you want to check out the dropship me plug-in

you can check out

the links down below in description.

And also if you want to buy the Alidropship plug-in or the Alidropship custom store,

you can check out the links down below in description as there is a free discount coupon

and you can save up to 134$.

And we do get a little commission from them as a kickback

which help us grow our channel and it cost nothing to you.

DeNiro Dressage Boot Review - Duration: 2:12.

OLIVIA: Hi, I'm Olivia from Marketing and today I am reviewing

the DeNiro Dressage Boot.

I love these boots because of the high quality,

elegant look and the great durability that they have.

These boots feature a front zipper that is placed

on the inside of the boot.

They create a really beautiful streamlined look,

so whether you're on the horse or off the horse,

your leg looks long and slim.

The square toe also completes the look

with an elegant design and a modern finish.

These boots are extremely comfortable.

They hardly took any time to break in.

But while the leather is soft they're still extremely durable.

I've had my boots for about three years now and they've

completely held up to the hectic life of riding and showing.

I ride about five times a week.

Sometimes I ride multiple horses a day.

These boots have even travelled down to Florida

with me,

and they've held up so great that I even still

show in my schooling boots.

A really unique thing about these boots and what has helped

them withstand so many years of riding and showing

is that the outside is actually constructed

using four layers of leather.

The entire boot is constructed using

calfskin leather which is what really helps

them create that custom-made feel.

These boots also undergo Water Resistant Advanced Treatment

which is what helps sweat and heat escape while preventing

water from coming in.

The insoles also contain activated carbon,

which has antibacterial properties.

The outer soles of the boots are created

with Vibram anti-slip technology,

which helps keep your boots secure in the stirrup

no matter what the weather is.

They are also made with spur guards to help ensure

that your spur never shifts while you ride.

These boots are perfect for any serious

dressage rider that is looking for a comfortable,

durable and elegant look that anyone can appreciate

whether you're in the schooling ring or in the show ring.

These boots are really easy to care for.

I simply just wipe them down with a damp

cloth when I'm done riding.

But if I feel the need to polish them up before

I go into the show ring,

I just use standard boot polish and a polishing brush.

I generally wear a size seven and a half but these

boots only come in full sizes so I sized up to a size

thirty eight which is equivalent to US 8.

But if you're unsure about what size would be best

for you feel free to check out our size chart on our website.

But if you find that these boots don't fit,

no worries because you can exchange them for free

with SmartPak's free return shipping.

I'm Olivia,

and the DeNiro Dressage Boots are the only tall

boots I will ever own.

Who else needs warming up? Vinmori Electric Heated Vest Review - Duration: 2:31.

Hello tech lovers, Mark here and you'll see I'm not in my usual surroundings today

I'm actually stood outdoors in the freezing cold because today we're going

to be taking a quick look at this heated jacket I've been sent to review, so thank

you very much for sending it, I've actually had it for quite a while

waiting to be reviewed but it's been very mild so I haven't had a chance to

review it. the weather's turned recently as you can

see I'm stood outside it's been snowing today, I'm sure it's gonna snow

tonight and it's been the perfect opportunity in the last week to test

this out. The jacket itself is a fleecy type jacket you see it's not got

arms on it, this is a hoodie this isn't part of the jacket, and it just has a

little control button at the top here. In the left hand pocket, here's what's

powering the heated jacket, this is a battery that I've provided you don't get

a battery with it you have to provide that separately, so it's just a mobile

battery that you can buy a power pack just plugs in and pops into the side of

your jacket like so, side pocket, and there's another pocket on the right

hand side. So in use you simply hold down the button to activate this, you can see

it's lit up red and there's different, if I click through, there's different levels

of heat. I'm gonna leave leave it on red because I'm getting a bit nippy out here!

Overall I found this to be a pretty decent way of adding an extra bit of

heat to your clothing. I would say on its own like this this isn't really doing

too much to keep me very very warm obviously these bits are warm but my

arms aren't so what I'd recommend is think of this as a middle layer so you

might have a t-shirt on or a hoodie on like I've got me put this on with the

heated elements at the back and then you put a coat on top. If you've ever been in

a car with heated seats that's pretty much what this feels like. There's no

heating elements at the front, they're around the back and I can just feel a

general warmth there. Now because I've not got something on top the heat is

pretty much escaping out the back. I can feel a little bit on my back but really

you want to trap that in, so you put something over the top of this and this

will keep you really nice and warm. I've been using this now for about a week in

these conditions and if say it does a pretty good job, I thought my coat was

quite nice and warm, but it's super toasty when I have this on as well.

Of course you are getting an extra layer as well trapping more air

but the heated elements do a great job of warming you up. If you're interested

in learning more, checking out the sizes and styles, I will put a link in the

description below. If you haven't already click Subscribe and join my tech tribe

and click up here if you want to see more of my reviews.

Thanks watching, I'll see you on the next video.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change!/你咪理, 我愛你! Movie Review - Duration: 5:25.

It doesn't matter that there's no story.

It's a Chinese New Year movie!

Hi! Welcome to The Silver Spleen. My name is Roger Hammerstein and this is my review of

I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE. That's the last time I'm saying that rather unwieldy title.

From here on out it's 'this movie.'

It's Chinese New Year season again in Hong Kong and I couldn't be happier I know I'm not Chinese. That's not my point.

my point is that Chinese New Year movies are generally

family friendly entertainment that are light silly and if we're honest

disposable I always enjoy Chinese New Year movies because no matter how

ridiculous they might get my mind simply says that's Chinese New Year and I don't

get anywhere near as bothered as I would otherwise so this movie gets the Chinese

New Year discount and well it needs it let's be honest up front

I don't like musicals I just don't so going into this movie I knew it wasn't

gonna be a pleasant experience for me it's also the directorial debut of Wang

Cho Lum a local actor who made a name for himself gender-bending on TVB which

sounds vaguely like some kind of weird drug experience but I digress I'm not a

fan of a lot of his work but on those occasions when he's not indulging in the

flaming metrosexual shtick that's not a euphemism I have enjoyed his work this

film is based on a film that's apparently based on an off-broadway play

of the same name I don't know because I don't do theatre I know you find that

shocking right but this play was actually performed in Hong Kong after

being translated into Cantonese a process Wong Coulomb apparently took

pardon so he was probably the best person to direct this film adaptation

that said I don't think he necessarily did a great job of it let me try and

explain why member this is just my opinion I don't

think Wang Cho LOM is a fan of loud music I say that because artists as

different as Nirvana and Metallica have both made it clear that you need quiet

parts in a song to make the loud parts seem louder and you need slow parts to

make the fast part seem faster you know variation well this movie is

with very few exceptions chronically loud it's exhausting of it's 88 minutes

of screen time at least 83 minutes of it is just jazz hands

there is one segment that brings it down several notches and it's a very good

segment it features Teresa Moe in a very serious and very impressive scene that

calls to mind her performance in tomorrow is another day

unfortunately this movie then resumes its scene chewing for the remainder of

the runtime and even I felt a little bad at how relieved I was when the first

end-credit came up I felt like I had survived an ordeal and I've seen

Motorhead life more than once but you know what a lot of other people in the

cinema seem to really enjoy it and hey it's Chinese New Year there are you know

a ton of cameos in the film and there's a lot of family-friendly kind of comedy

there's jokes that go down easy if only because you've heard them a million

times before or you can see them coming from a mile away but that's what people

want and that's what people like and that's what they get also Chinese New

Year movies tend to be loud unsubtle Affairs and on that level this movie is

a great Chinese New Year film so it's probably gonna work really well for its

intended audience which of course I'm not you might really like it I mean the

dance numbers are kind of impressive the cinematography is not bad the segment

with Sammy Cheng was kind of fun too and it was just you know nice to see her on

a big screen again go see it in a cinema you know with your family during Chinese

New Year on a big screen because do you would want to watch dance numbers on

their phone this is a movie that's designed for the Chinese New Year

holiday and that's how it should be seen I can't imagine

as I said watching this on your phone on the MTR in July it's not really that

kind of movie but if you like musicals if you like plays maybe it is I don't

know okay so I'm admitting my ignorance oh and as long as we're talking about

ignorant do me a favor and be dumb enough to give me some money click on my

patreon page and fill it out and send me a little money because I think I deserve

it you probably don't but I do so you know

which one of us is right it's up to you if you enjoyed this review please let me

know and if you didn't please let me know if you enjoy the channel please

subscribe and please have a wonderful Chinese New Year don't hate Holly

TOUCHDOWN FOOTBALL for ATARI 7800 Review! - Duration: 6:36.

Happy Monday everybody and thanks for tuning in to Toys, The Universe, and Everything!

This week we're playing Touchdown Football for the Atari 7800.

So is Touchdown Football the Red Zone fix for Atari Football fans or would you be better

off playing foozeball for one?

Well like, subscribe to the channel, hit the notification bell, and lets play football

or whatever this is!!

Based on the 1985 Electronic Arts computer football game, Touchdown Football was released

in 1988 for the Atari 7800 by Imagineering.

What makes this interesting is that this IS based on an EA football game, but not THAT

EA football game.

In this game you play team A or team B in a 6 on 6 football game with special guest

kicker Greek tragic hero, edipus… after he plucked his own eyes out.

(reading is fundamental kids.)

Plays are chosen by pressing one of the eight directions on the stick and hitting a button.

Receiver routes are chosen independently in the same way for the right and left wide outs

and the Offensive line can also be set this way.

Kicks are automatic… automatically going to miss that is.

You can set the quarters to 5, 10, or 15 minutes and when you score a single cheerleader will

cheer for you in the end zone as you do your dance because this game was from the 80's

to heck with sportsmanship.

Super Bowl Shuffle away.

Visually this game manages to be less impressive in 1988 than 10 Yard Fight was in 1985.

The sprites animate in a surprisingly limited amount of frames except for the cheerleader…

girl's got moves.

The ball shows no attempt at shading and the field has no fans or detail other than the

grid.

The title screen is really nice, however and I think Atari knew that because they used

it as the box art.

They used the TITLE SCREEN AS THE BOX ART!

Now that is some cheap, lazy cost cutting stuff right there.

The title screen is also the cart label as well and probably the background of the programmer's

business card.

I was thinking of getting it as a tattoo, because why not.

There is no half time show, or game over screen to speak of.

No jumbo tron images.

Just the field and plain text for your box score info and touchdown notifications Its

like the programmers knew not to get too excited about touchdowns in this game… you're

going to miss the extra point anyway.…

The music jingle in the game isn't bad, but it only happens at kick offs and the title

screen.

The rest of the sound is pretty much out of an old LED football game.

There isn't much in the way of noises or cues and no crowd noise.

It makes the game feel very tedious instead of tense.

I don't want to say a Pokey chip would have made it better because it is very clear that

sound design was not the focus of the team working on this game.

The focus of a good home football game is the game itself, right?

Well then I have bad news sports fans.

This game plays like a PeeWee League on opening day.

The receivers don't run their routes and the quarterback won't throw to the receivers.

The running game is pretty much broken and the kicker should be bagging groceries.

Point after attempts and field goals are pretty much impossible even for the computer.

How no one caught this in QA, I have no idea.

There is no bar for the kick or on screen reticule to signal you.

It just happens, or it doesn't.

Which for me… it didn't.

EVER.

On the plus side, the computer appears to be just as confused about how to play as you

will.

I'm not sure anyone ever played this during programming to see if it was actually any

fun.

Based on the box art and game itself, I'm willing to bet this game was just thown out

there as a cash grab for poor Atari owners starved for a football game.

That said it was a little satisfying to run this kick back for a touchdown… he could..

go.. all… the… way!

So do you need Touchdown Football in your collection?

It is "A" football game for the Atari, but you would probably have more satisfaction

tracking down a John Elway or Joe Montana football card than this game.

Retro gamers that play football know that Tecmo Bowl and Madden are the two camps for

this type of game.

Touchdown Football is a sad, soulless mess that is less fun than a handheld red light

football game and sounds about the same as one.

On the plus side it is super cheap, but only go looking for this if you have to have them

all or need to level a table.

Watch the Replacements or the Waterboy instead, play Madden on SEGA Genesis or Tecmo Super

Bowl on NES or even NFL Blitz on N64 because I don't think even Dan Marino could save

this game from the cellar of the 8 bit football division.

So anyway, I hope you enjoyed this video and no matter what your questions are about toys

the universe and everything, remember, the answer is always to have fun and FOOZEBALL

may not be the devil, Kathy Bates, but Touchdown Football might be the game in Satan's Atari.

Until next time everybody.

Skidtest: Atomic Backland 107 (2020) - Duration: 7:33.

There are some things you should do in your life, number one is to ski.

Numer two is to subscribe to our channel.

We stand here with one of our experienced testriders: Emma.

And you have now tried the first ski, what have you ridden?

What pair of skis have you tried?

I´ve tried this nice ski, it´s Atomic Backland 107.

I´ve tried it in the length of 182 cm.

What was your first impression of this ski?

My feeling was that it is really solid in high speeds.

It felt like a ski made for big lines and big mountains.

You could really step on the pedal on this one, and pick up tons of speed.

What was your impression when you rode it on piste, and began to carv on it?

Absolutely good on the groomers!

It´s rock solid on bigger turns.

As mentioned: rather a bit bigger turns and runs on this one.

It´s more of a ski for droping big cliffs and charging open fields, than dancing through forests when trees grow close together.

Did you try it outside the piste?

I did, and I liked it there.

It´s a bit more lightweight than I thought when I first saw it.

And that was something I found positive.

We have a little line here on the mountain, wich includes a bit of a classic tight Swedish forest with birches.

Fun, but I think of bigger and more open fields for this one.

So if that´s the kind of ski you´re looking for: Atomic Backland 107 will suit you.

Ok, so we have your explanation and impressions of the ski. What is your judgement on the scale from 1-5?

It´s a 4 for me!

What have you tried Olle?

Backland 107, Atomic.

At what length?

I got the long one, it´s 189 cm.

What do you think of these skis after ridning on them?

First run I was a bit skeptical.

I thought it was a bit lame and slow.

But I think that was due to that I had been riding a shorter ski just before.

Second run I got a much better feeling for it and I started to charge it a bit more, press in the turns.

And then I think it was a lot better, better than I expected actually.

It was hard, but not too hard.

You could really do correct and powerful carving turns all the way through, but I also found it playfull.

Would you say that it is the kind of ski that loves speed and big turns?

Exactly!

And it also puts a bit of demand on the person riding it, you have too charge and but a lot of speed and power into it.

It´s not a ski that you fart around and go loose on.

Backland 107 would be perfect in the Alps with long runs both on and off piste.

We tried it here a bit off piste as well, and I could ride it in quite high speed without getting stuck or anything.

A stiffer ski can be hard in that type of terrain, but this one was not.

Would you consider this ski for go touring? Considering the low weight?

It is lightweight, but a stiff one!

So, yeah, I think that Atomic would say this is good for ski touring and yes I would do that.

Judgment, 1-5, what will it be?

First I thought "not more than 3", but as I got to know the ski more I will have to raise that to 4!

sThanks!

Ok, next rider. Max you have also tried the Backland 107 from Atomic. What length did you ride?

I got 182 cm with a radius of 18,5 meter.

How did you like these skiis?

We did two runs on the groomers, and one more outside.

It´s a fun ski! When you press it, it comes along, solid in high speeds.

While off piste I felt I could go a bit faster then on the previous ski I tested. It´s a "chargy" one!

Atomic Backland suits the skier that want´s to push it, both on and off piste.

So on the plus side: solid in high speed, but did you manage to turn it in smaller places like in between the birches?

I managed to work things out there as well, but it was a bit more effort than compared to Salomon QST 106.

On the other hand: it made med pick a line that was a bit more straight so that kind of worked out anyway!

It was a quick ski on piste, 18,5 radius kan be quite fast there, but off pist it was a little slower to turn.

Let´s wrap it up then: judgement!

I kind of want to give it more than 4, but yeah, a 4 it is!

So it´s not a 4.5?

What the heck, it is a 4.5! I really liked this one!

It´s a wrap! Thanks!

Ok, we are back with Tobbe who works for both Atomic and Salomon.

What ski are you holding?

This is Atomic Backland 107.

What kind of skiers should consider this modell?

It is for a skier who maybe want´s to start skitouring for a bit, since it´s quite lightweight.

But still a ski that performs down hill.

What does it weigh?

I do not have the exat gram in my head, but it is a middle light ski I would say...

Still a ski you could press in the groomers and go side country with?

Exactly! It´s not a superlight ski only for touring. It´s more versatile.

Has anything changed with Atomic Backland 107 since last year?

It´s the same sidecut and measures and design since last year.

It still has the nice spoon in the front, same as on the Bent Chetler skis, gives a good float in powder.

Ok, so same design as on Atomic Bent Chetler regarding the tip then?

Yupp!

In the back: rocker or what?

Yes, a nice little tail rocker in the back, and a camber under foot.

A shift binding on this one, and you´re good to go just about anywhere!

Thanks!

We´ll continue this ski test of the upcoming modells of 2020. We have just started!

Subscribe to us here, and we´ll put out a list with more ski reviews.

Bye!
