From morning i am trying to record this video and many of you guys

Sent me a mail about ethical hacking

You guys wanted to know the process

questions about ethical hacking so finally

ill be answering them in this video

So first lets start with the basics

with what is actually ethical hacking

in movies and

Everywhere, hackers are blamed

for being the bad guys and stuff

So Ethical hacking is basically working within your boundaries

and within your ethics

to work as a hacker

with cops and security firms

You conduct security audits

The main task of ethical hacker is to provide

digital security

and even physical security comes into ethical hacking

Basically, we actually conduct penetration testing

Mobile security audits

android application audits

and stuff like that

From basics to advances

we also are into forensics

So ethical hacking is kind of

all-rounder task

You have to break into security and then you have to report bugs

and once those bugs are fixed, even some ethical hackers fix those bugs

in case you are a good programmer

You have to fix those bugs

and you have to work around with security

So the basic question that i keep on getting

in my mails is about

How do i become security expert

How do i become an ethical hacker

or penetration tester

So here is a quick guide

In case you are in 10th or 12th

You must take mathematics as a subject

because maths is important

and personally i was from science PCM

In case you are from india, you know what i am talking about

So basically you have to take maths

and you have to do some

do some plain degree

in my case, i have done

In my case, i have done Bsc IT

You can also do BCA

Plain degree as in, i am talking about something

without physics and chemistry

so you dont have to deal with all those

Crapy subjects, i was personally not good at

studies, and i am currently in TYBscIT

and i dont go to college

for obvious reasons

which ill be telling you in later part of this video

You have to check wheather you have like programming subjects

in your degree

You need subjects like C++ and Pythoin

So recently python was added to

in BSCIT whereas in my syllabus python is not there

Now lets talk about money

Obviously, for obvious reasons

everyone is into this for money

If you talk about an average salary

or average income

of an ethical hacker

then this actually depends on your

experience and how well you

interact with elements and everything

So it all comes to your skills

In case you are an average guy, you can ear up to

10,000 $ / Year

thats like 60,000 Rs a month

50,000 to 60,000 Rs a month

obviously, you need to have that kind of experience

and that kind of knowledge

I have this beast setup and like tons of gadgets and

drones and stuff

Now lets talk about ethical hacking and working with cops

Personally, i think in india, its not possible to work as an ethical hacker

with cops but yes

cops need help

and you can work with cops by creating personal contacts with them

So previously, i used to conduct lectures and i used to guide cops and

I used to work with them without any financial profit or

without any profit

and later on from ethical hacking, i moved on to forensics security

or digital forensics basically

wherein i have to work as an ethical hacker and an evidence collector

so i basically

Break into devices, recover chats, and collect evidences

there are tons of things in digital forensics and

and ethical hacking. They are mostly related

So working freely paid me off and cops used to refer me

to take ethical hacking services privately

there were some private clients as well

then i used to work as a freelancer

later on, after that bonding kind of thing happens

and you can work as an ethical hacker with cops

So that is it

Now most of you guys might ask me about

about my certifications, i have not done any certifications

not even from CEH

Nothing !Nothing ! Nothing

I have learnt everythign from internet, like from youtube

udemy.com and even from torrents

i have downloaded and watched tutorials from torrents

I have mostly learnt everything from there

I dont have any certifications as such

In case you want to become an ethical hacker then iw ould suggest you to go with offensive security

Because they provide like extremely good practical knowledge

the certifications and courses are

like extremely good

EC council's CEH and ECSAare good kind of !

but they are mostly theory

and you dont want that

because skills and experience matters

I would suggest you to go with offensive security's penetration testing
