News on Youtube Sep 27 2017

This mini build Extended Brief Top in Black Diamond is for those of you that have a 1997

to 2006 TJ and are looking for a Safari style top to add on to your Jeep.

This is going to give you an open-air experience by not having any of the three windows or

that rear section of the top that attaches to the tub, giving you a very open feel, but

still keeping the direct sun and the rain off of you when you're in the Jeep.

Whether you're running with or without doors, this top is going to wrap around these sport

cage upfront above the two doors, so it is going to keep you pretty dry on the inside

of the Jeep.

This is going to be, of course, more protective than a mesh top would be.

This is going to do a much better job keeping the moisture out and it's gonna block 100%

of the sun instead of a mesh top load that would only block part of it.

Now this is the Extended Brief Top, so this is going to go from the windshield channel

all the way to the back of the Jeep.

This is going to cover both the front and the rear seat passengers in your TJ.

There are, of course, shorter tops like this that will just cover the front seat passengers

if that's something you're interested in.

Now there are a couple different versions of these out there from a couple of different

companies.

There are some that are more expensive than this.

I think this one's pretty appropriately priced for what you're getting.

You are going to get a high quality piece.

It's gonna stay nice and tight on the Jeep, so it's not going to flap around.

It's gonna look good.

It's gonna hold up well.

And I think it's pretty affordable.

This top is made of the same high quality Black Diamond material as your factory top,

so it is going to match your interior and exterior of your Jeep very well.

It's going to come with all of the straps, VELCROs and buckles that is necessary, already

attached to it, so it's going to stay nice and tight, and it's not going to flap on the

Jeep, which is one of the big complaints that people have with this style of top.

You're going to be able to attach this again right around the sport cage upfront keeping

it nice and tight.

It has these additional straps upfront to keep any water from pooling on top of the

top.

Now, one thing that is important to note about this top, as well as a lot of the other ones

on the market, is that this does require a windshield header bar.

So that's something you're going to have to purchase separately, and you're going to need

in order to install this onto your Jeep.

So you do have to figure that into the cost of installing a top like this.

So as far as the install goes, I'm gonna give this a one out of three wrenches.

You should be able to get this installed on your Jeep in half an hour or less.

And every time you install it and uninstall it, you're just going to get that much quicker.

Now, the first step is going to be installing the windshield header bar on to your top,

of course, after removing your hard top or soft top.

That header bar will attach right to the top of your factory windshield frame.

Then you'll work your way from the front to the back attaching all the straps and VELCRO

pieces to make sure that this is nice and tight.

Now, the first go-around, you can leave most of the straps a little bit loose, just get

them in position, and then again working from the front to the back, tighten everything

down.

That way you're not gonna have any wrinkles and you're gonna make sure that everything

fits as it should.

This top comes in at just $70, which I do think is a pretty good deal.

It's gonna be a little bit less expensive than some of the other ones on the market.

Now some of be more expensive Safari style tops will have some additional features, like

maybe built-in zippered pockets, but if you're not interested in those additional features,

this is going to be a good way to still get a quality top that will save you a few dollars.

Now, it is very important to remember, as I mentioned before, that you need to figure

the price of that windshield header into running a top like this if you don't already have

one.

So if you're looking for a Safari style top for your TJ, I definitely recommend taking

a look at this one from Smittybilt and you can find it right here at extremeterrain.com.

The Graces by Laure Eve - Spoiler Free Review [CC] | The Book Life - Duration: 5:54.

Everyone said The Graces were witches. And I was going to make them mine. Hey guys it's

Sarah Jane welcome back to my channel today I'm here to bring you a spoiler

free review of The Graces by Laure Eve. So I was sent a copy of this book from the

Willoughby Book club which is a gift bookish subscription service and I have

a link for that in the description bar down below because you can get a little

discount if you're interested. Just like everybody else in her small town River

is obsessed with the Graces. She's pulled in by their glamour their exclusivity

their wealth their beauty and perhaps even their magic. But unlike everybody

else obsessed with the graces River knows exactly what she's doing doesn't

she? So The Graces is a YA book and it's

about this girl called River who moves to a small town, starts a new school and

she becomes obsessed with the Graces. there are three Grace's siblings that go

to the same school as her, there is Summer who's in the same year as River.

River is instantly drawn to Summer and really wants to be her friend. Summer is

cool she has long dark hair she's a bit of a rebel she's everything that River

wants to be. and then there's the two older grey siblings who are twins and

you have Talia and Fenrin. Talia is a lot more reserved than Summer she's one

of those girls who are just effortlessly beautiful and Fenrin, Fenrin is a gift

from the gods. He's blonde he's witty he's got that lazy smile that everybody

loves. And everybody just wants to be friends with the Graces. They're known

for their wealth their glamoUr their exclusivity they have a lot of power

over the small town there's a lot of mystery that surrounds them and they're

very wealthy and they're very private. They tend to keep themselves to

themselves there's a lot of rumors floating around about whether they are

actually witches or not and a lot of strange things seems to happen around

them so people are interested by them and they either want to be in the club

and very close to them or they just want to stay away from them. Now River

desperately wants to be friends for the Graces but rather than suck up to them

she actually acts like she doesn't care she acts like she doesn't want to be

friends with them and it works and soon she's pulled into the fold. Plot wise I'm

not going to talk about it much more than that because I don't want to spoil

anything I feel like it's a book you need to go into knowing as little as

possible. For me this book was like a recipe of the Craft, Charmed, Gossip Girl and Riverdale.

You have that outsider voice narration

like you do with Riverdale you have the wealth and the exclusivity and the

glamour and the beauty of Gossip Girl and then you have the witchiness

of the Craft and Charmed. I really like that the graces had this atmosphere that

they had this beauty this wealth this glamour because I'm so used to hearing

about witches is being the outcast and witches is being the weird ones are

the ones that nobody want to, like wants to associate with and things like that

and this book really turned that on its head. The Graces have this allure that I

don't feel that you get with a lot of other witch books and I really liked

that. It did have a little bit of that Twilight vibe which if someone had said

that to me I would have been like hell no but you know in Twilight when you see

the Cullens come in and they just have this atmosphere around them, that's a

little bit how the Graces are. Everyone knows there's something off about them

but they can't quite put their finger on why and the new girl is really pulled in

by them. This is one of those books that seems to have a lot of polarizing

opinions now some people don't like the book because they expected it to be a

lot more witchy. They expected a lot more witchiness if you like a lot more magic

a lot more spells that sort of thing and this book isn't really like that it's

about creating this atmosphere and as a reader you're reading the book trying to

work out if the Graces are witches. I felt like this book was very atmospheric I

really liked the writing style I was pulled in I loved the characters I feel

like if you understand why River is obsessed with the graces then you buy

into it. If you don't and you don't understand why she's so obsessed with

them I think this book could potentially fall a little bit flat but I did buy

into it she wanted to belong I understood it and then as the book

further progressed and developed it became even more apparent why she was so

desperate to be a part of the Graces. her reasoning is much more layered than what

you first think. now River isn't actually Rivers real name we don't find out what

her real name is, early on in the book she decides to take a new name for herself

and call herself a River and she's a character that on the surface you think

is quite dull, she's quite needy she's desperate to be friends with the Graces

and you you feel like there's something more there but you're not sure why. She's

actually quite an unreliable narrator you're not sure if you can trust her and

I really love that aspect. It ended in a way that made

me so desperate to pick up the second book The Curses which isn't out yet. I'm

just so desperate for the second book because I just want to know what happens

to my precious characters and I feel like the second book is gonna be even

better than the first. I believe the second book is going to be told from a

different perspective which if you've read the Graces that's a really

interesting development. I would recommend this book if you like

characters that are morally grey if you like atmospheric books, I would recommend

this book if you like the whole witchy thing but you also like the intrigue and

the glamour and the wealth of how the other half live if you like. I love the

way that this book combined those elements and for me it was really strong

I gave it four out of five stars because it didn't quite hit that five star mark

for me for a few reasons and I do feel like I'm gonna love the

second one even more so I feel good giving this one 4 out of 5 stars because

hopefully I'm gonna love the second one and that will be even better than the

first. But that's it for my spoiler free review of The Graces if you have read it

let me know what you think down below no spoilers please. But equally if you're

thinking of picking it up let me know that as well because that's always nice.

I just love this book I can't wait for the second one four out of five stars

done. Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you guys all again soon, bye!

"Daytripper" by Fábio Moon & Gabriel Bá (2011) comic review - graphic novel recommendations - Duration: 1:58.

[Book cover of graphic novel "Daytripper" by Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá (2011) - comic review from comics recommendation list]

Now, the next comic I'd like to recommend is Daytripper, which is by the Brazilian twin brothers Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá.

Daytripper is a comic about a young man who writes the obituary columns for his city's newspaper.

But beyond that, he wants to follow in his father's footsteps and become a great writer in his own right.

Mortality is the theme running through this slightly surreal 250-page comic.

In each chapter of the comic, we join the main character for a day in his life.

The chronology keeps on jumping around throughout each of the 10 chapters of the book:

in the first chapter he's aged 32,

then in the next chapter he's aged 21.

We also see him as a 47-year old, and 11-year old, and finally as a 76 year-old man.

So, in other words, we're following this guy for ten days of his life, but the ten days are scattered all throughout his life.

As you can see, the artwork is incredibly imaginative.

I especially like the illustrations of the character swimming underwater beneath a harbour full of anchored boats.

It sort of looks like that they are blimps floating above him, tethered to the ground by anchors.

The scenery keeps on changing throughout the comic, as we move throughout time, and move to various locations around Brazil.

So, we see everything from the city, to the beach, to the desert, to the countryside.

Anyway, it's really nice stuff. And it comes with a one-page illustrated introduction by Craig Thompson. Bargain, right!?

So, check out Daytripper by Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá.

Aji Jobito pod test - 2017 pepper review #27 - Duration: 4:06.

Hi this is Peter Stanley, welcome to my channel

today I'm going to do a pod review on

and aji jobito

this is a capsicum chinense from Venezuela

it's a very

it has been a very rare pepper now but a lot people are growing it, so it's kind of propagated

around the growing community

this came from

a fellow pepper friend named Adam

he goes by Bhuter on the hot pepper

and he sent me this

so I'm going to cut this open and

see how it tastes

let's go ahead and cut it open and weigh it and stuff and

and we'll try it out

11.9 grams

it's a little over an inch tall

and about

and inch and a quarter wide

see it's very thick walled

it's pretty juicy

quite a few seeds in there, real

it's like a little

baby pod forming in there

yeah it's got a really

real mild smell to it

cool, let's go ahead and give it a taste

okay I'm back

it looks a lot in appearance to the yellow scotch bonnet I'm growing

I know it's not going to taste the same but

the outside shape and color are very similar

alright, so the aji jobito

yeah, it tastes really good

zero heat

really didn't have a lot of flavor, wasn't super sweet

just a mild kind of

it almost tasted like

like a

melon rind but without any of the melon

just kind of a real kind of bland

sort of a non flavor

there's one that Jesus

gave me

I think he said it was aji dulce

but they're like long yellow

pods that I'm growing now, I haven't done a review on it but

it kind of reminds me of that because that's a capsicum chinense

I don't know if that's the right name, but that's

what I'm growing is a capsicum chinense

and it's like that but

it has no heat, but it's got a sweeter flavor

this doesn't really have a lot of flavor either way

it's not bad, it's actually really good but

it

would be great for snacking, but I don't know

what to use it in because it's not really

change much of anything that you'd add it to

but I really like it, it's very

very tasty

you don't see to many

chinense

peppers that don't have any heat

yeah, that's really good, it's the

I don't have much else to add, it's a real quick review

so that's the aji jobito

thank you very much Adam for sending me that pod, I appreciate it

hope yall liked that

and please like, comment and subscribe

Top 5 Google Chrome alternatives | Best privacy focused web browsers review | Degoogleify - Duration: 11:29.

So you are looking for Google Chrome alternatives because you want to protect your privacy.

There is countless of web browsers out there and you want to pick one that makes it worth

ditching Chrome.

You don't need to sacrifice functionality.

Quite the contrary.

By switching to these privacy browsers, your device will no longer devote its resources

to send your browsing history and other private information to Google's servers.

You want a privacy-focused browser that either blocks all trackers by default, or lets you

easily do that with simple configuration.

It needs to be fast, and should let you opt out of sending any personal information to anyone.

As a rule of thumb, we are going to go through a range browsers that are open source software,

meaning developers around the world can freely look at their source code and verify whether

their promise of privacy checks out.

I'll briefly review each privacy browser on this list and mention its benefits and drawbacks.

You should be allowed to make your own informed decision so I won't suggest any single one

over the rest.

This list is not a ranking, they are equally good when it comes to privacy protection.

If you like this tutorial, be sure to express your feelings so that Youtube knows people

find it useful and its algorithms will suggest it to more people.

Even though I clearly advise people to stop using Google services.

So much for their artificial "intelligence".

Those of you watching who already use any of these Google Chrome alternatives, please

share your experience in the comments with your privacy browser of choice, so that people

can know more about their user experience.

After making these videos, I am never going to make any income from Youtube, as all of

my viewers will block ads by default.

But if you help me grow, maybe one day I'll get a brand deal from Microsoft to promote

Edge as the best privacy browser ever.

The first privacy-focused browser we're gonna look at is Brave Browser.

Brave is my browser of choice if I wanted my grandparents to protect their privacy without

having to do anything.

Usually with other browsers, you need to go through some configuration and install addons

to protect your online privacy.

With Brave, all that is pre-installed and pre-configured by default.

Right out of box, Brave will block all advertisements, trackers, and malware.

Brave integrated HTTPS Everywhere, which forces websites to use encryption if they support it,

so that your connection is more secure.

Third party cookies are also blocked, and if you are more vigilant about your privacy,

you can even block scripts and enable fingerprinting protection.

While this could break some sites, Brave allows you to easily manage that and only enable

scripts on sites you trust.

Script blocking is limited to only allowing all, or allowing none, which means you can't

single out only tracking scripts to block and allowing the rest for the website to function.

Compared to having an extra extension to block individual scripts, Brave script blocking

won't let you customize your web experience as much.

But not everybody is willing to go that extra mile for their privacy, so for those who just

want an easy but still strong privacy protection, Brave is there to do the job for them.

With just a single installation of Brave Browser, websites will render significantly faster

without all those ads and trackers.

Your bandwith consumption will decrease, your device will work faster and Brave will require

fewer resources to function properly.

It's extremely simplistic and doesn't bother you with any bloatware and spyware

that come pre-installed with Chrome.

Brave is consistent across platforms, and the way it looks and works on your big screen

or small screen, will be exactly the same.

With Brave you don't have to learn anything.

Just let the browser work for you and enjoy the web free from advertisers and trackers.

The only drawback of Brave is that because it's such a young project, it doesn't

have a lot of support for other browser extensions.

If you want to personalize your browsing with unsupported add-ons that you can't live

without, Brave doesn't have any options for you to install those.

Brave gives you very lightweight, fast, and sleek browsing experience, but doesn't let

you add anything of your own.

However, more and more developers are joining in as Brave increases its popularity.

So this fact will most likely change soon enough.

One of the problems with blatant ad blocking is that a lot of the web is funded by advertisements.

And just because a website runs ads, doesn't mean it's evil.

It turns out that people who run that website just need to eat as well.

You can support those websites by putting some money into your Brave wallet and donating

to websites you like in micro-transactions.

Another way to support good marketing is to allow Brave ads, which are advertisements

that do not track your privacy on the Internet.

Every time you click on an add, you submit to the retailer and advertiser all of your

personal information, like your username, email address, and your browsing fingerprint.

Advertisers need to learn this is not OK, and what Brave does is a great battle plan

to win the war for privacy.

To better protect your privacy on any browser, I recommend that you configure your browser

to delete all of browsing data and use bookmarks instead of browsing history.

Brave lets you easily clear browsing history each time you close a session.

You can also easily choose a password manager, but it's only recommended that you store

your passwords encrypted and not in plain text inside your browser.

Another privacy browser is made by the champion of fighting for digital rights and privacy

on the Internet, the Mozilla Foundation.

Their Firefox browser is a flagship free and open source software, that came more than

a decade ago to save us all from the Internet Explorer.

Firefox's market share dipped due to Google bashing our heads with their Chrome browser

each time you used a Google service.

But Firefox is still extremely important and it's the browser that helps the Internet

be more free and open.

Mozilla Foundation is a non-profit organization, which means that unlike Google, Microsoft,

or Apple, it doesn't have to track you to make a profit off of your privacy.

Firefox is often most recommended privacy-focused browser because it allows for immense configuration.

Not just through add-ons, but also by tweaking its code to make sure no information is tracked.

As you can see I already have some extensions installed on my Firefox.

That is because by default, Firefox doesn't block any ads, encrypt the web, or deletes

cookies and trackers.

But you can turn it into a really powerful firewall with simple configuration.

Your absolute musts are uBlock Origin and HTTPS Everywhere.

You can block sending reports and telemetric data, and tell websites you don't want to be tracked.

Unlike Chrome, Firefox will not track or sell your browsing history to advertisers.

So once you configure your Firefox to protect your privacy, you can be sure no one else

has your browsing history.

You are in full control of your web experience.

Firefox lets you go into about:config tab, and hard code some privacy protection into it.

I will cover that in my next video because there's a lot you can do here.

Other options for good privacy configuration are CookieAutoDelete extension, Decentraleyes,

and Privacy Badger.

If you are a vigilante of privacy and freedom, you can block scripts and trackers through

uMatrix or NoScript.

If you don't know how to use these, I'll make a tutorial with full explanation in the future.

Out of all browsers on this list, Firefox has been around the longest and will probably

stay here the longest.

It enjoys the widest support for browser add-ons, plug-ins, bug fixes, and security updates.

It's also the most used one out of all privacy browsers, so your browsing fingerprint is

going to blend in with the crowd more seamlessly.

Firefox lets you configure it to delete browsing data each time you close it.

You can easily manage bookmarks and bookmark all tabs to remember a session if you want

to come back to it later.

The only negative side is that by default Firefox will send some crash reports and user

data to Mozilla servers.

But this is always transparently communicated to you upon first install, and you can easily

disable it in the settings.

Also Firefox recently joined the establishment to combat what it decides to be fake news.

The specifics on what they're going to do remain vague, but just in case there was something

shady to be going on, there are forks of Firefox, which allow you to use the same software but

developed separately.

One such project is called Waterfox.

Waterfox browser is essentially Firefox clone, but it has some features of its own.

Mostly it distances itself from the Mozilla Foundation and removes all data collection and telemetry.

So it's basically same as Firefox but with even better default privacy.

You'd still need to go through same privacy configuration and install same add-ons as on Firefox.

Luckily majority of them are supported.

But be aware this project is not backed by an entire foundation of developers maintaining

its security so make sure you are aware when a potential exploit pops out.

Waterfox set Ecosia for search by default.

Ecosia is a search engine that donates its revenue to plant trees.

You can keep that or change your default search engine in the manager menu.

What's good about this fork is that it's based on the latest stable version of Firefox.

So it's always going to look modern.

There is another fork, called Palemoon, which forked from an older version of Firefox.

Palemoon is what Firefox used to be a couple of years ago.

It provides you with more customization, and there is also no data collection and no profit

behind the organization.

It looks a bit old, which might put off some of the younger users.

I didn't really like its default theme so I changed it.

It resembles Firefox in every aspect, but the layout maintains its traditional look.

Palemoon supports a range of Firefox extensions and builds its own exclusive add-ons on top of it.

Like Firefox and Waterfox, you need to configure Palemoon with the same privacy extensions.

I don't see anything wrong with Palemoon.

I use it daily now and it's even faster on my machine than Firefox.

I don't mind that it looks a bit older.

I only care about my privacy online without sacrificing functionality and Palemoon functions perfectly.

It didn't crash on me a single time during my 4 month use.

Firefox is also used by Tor Browser bundle, which I list as another privacy browser you can use.

You can download tor from torproject.org and access websites with a hidden IP address.

Your traffic will be anonymized, and although websites and your ISP will know that you are

connecting through Tor, they won't be able to identify you.

To use Tor correctly, don't login to your online identities while browsing the web on

the same session.

Tor doesn't magically protect you from data you submit to websites.

So even if you use Facebook onion link, Facebook will still collect your posts, likes, comments,

and chat messages.

They will also be able to see your browsing history from Tor if you visit other websites

while logged in to your Facebook account.

Close your Tor session after you dealt with your online accounts, each time you want to

browse the web.

The purpose of Tor is to hide you from governments and advertisers from knowing what you do.

But Tor doesn't do magic and it's not all you need for online anonymity.

If you engage in illicit activities, chances are law enforcement agencies will find ways

around Tor network to get some incriminating evidence.

But as it is, Tor's standing is solid and secure.

Tor will slow down your traffic, but if your connection is fast enough, you can use Tor for everything.

Provided you use Tor properly, by closing and starting new sessions to separate your

online identities from trackers, you can totally stop updating your advertising profile Facebook

and Google maintain about you.

the pros and cons with it now one of things I really love about it is their pricing structure

I will say I don't want to start comparison comparing it but it is probably the most affordable

and reasonably priced page builder for WordPress when you come to the website and scroll all

the way down to the bottom now everything that I talked to to be linked in the video

description box down below all right here it is so you get a single site license for

$67 now here is the difference when you are purchasing something from Thrive this is a

lifetime license and what that means is there going to continue to give you updates for

the life of the product now what typically happens with WordPress it's a one year updates

and support with Thrive you get one year of support but you get lifetime updates I think

that's way way better for customers because you don't have to worry about a security issue

or some kind of a performance patch or something like that in your your stuck constantly having

to pay a fee every year thrive doesn't do that to you I really like that and if you

want more than that one your support it's just a small $40 to extend that year of support

now I am putting together a training course on Thrive Architect and if you didn't already

have Thrive Architect and you wanted to purchase it up put information down below and given

that out is kind of a tie along to help you if you're purchasing Thrive Architect and

you click on the link I'm throwing in that course just to help you get faster results

with Thrive Architect and so I have those resources available for you so I do have a

thrive architect installed right here want to say one quick thing that is a huge pro

when it comes to purchasing any of the Thrive products is your really buying into an ecosystem

meaning they have lots of different products that seamlessly integrate and work together

now there's other companies that have suites of plug-ins or themes but they just don't

integrate another one is a great example is my theme shop WP M you dev these are places

you can get a membership and you can get access to all these plug-ins but they're all kinda

standalone and they don't seamlessly integrate together what's really nice about the thrive

is all of their products seamlessly integrate so I use Thrive Leads on my websites I use

Thrive ultimatum on my websites there's all these various products that they make that

perfectly integrate together and they do kind of have a marketing kind of focus on them

I like to give the example of Apple computers I have an Apple watch have an iPhone I have

an iPad I have a Mac I have an Apple TV and they ought to seamlessly communicate together

I can use one to control the other and they just kind of all work that's what you get

when you are using Thrive it's that seamless integration between these products that really

make it a comprehensive suite of tools for your WordPress based website okay enough that

you check so to keep structured in this video I do have a list here I wrote out what I thought

the pros were I wrote out what I think the cons work I go ahead and hit the pros first

and then I will hit some of the negatives you're gonna want to definitely stick around

for the entire video so Thrive Architect is a plug-in you can just go ahead and plug it

in and go to your website plug-ins add new install Thrive Architect now what it technically

is is a page builder for WordPress and it will work perfectly with any WordPress theme

on this demo site right here when I go to appearance I'm using the Astra Theme and it

just so happens to be the theme use on all of my websites I do have a review video on

that it's definitely something to look out for so when you install the Thrive architecture

to get a couple new menu items are to get this thriving light boxes and what this does

actually don't like the name of it but essentially it's can allow you to create pop ups that

you can use for on your Thrive Architect design pages so what's what's weight of thinking

of that is you don't have to go and buy an additional plug-in that you will want for

opt-in's pop-ups and things like that you can use ripe light boxes for that so you get

this new link down here this is where all the action really happens this thriving dashboard

and when you click on it this is where your to manage all of your Thrive products I only

have Thrive Architect installed on this website but yet others write products they would be

listed right here in this rating it manages some things the main one is this API connections

and this is actually one of the huge benefits of using Thrive Architect is and integrates

with a lot of different services so you can come right here input those connections into

the services now if I was to do a quick comparison with any other page builder for WordPress

none of them have anywhere is near the connections that thrive it does so whatever service or

any use for emails or webinars most likely you're going to have that connection available

to you in Thrive so when I go to manage connections I click on this it's super easy all I have

to do is click on add new connection now what's important to note is that you can actually

use this with more than one service at the same time so when I go to the drop down here

there's this long list of email marketing one of them that I particularly use myself

is Mautic it's very rare for a pay no page builders actually have meiotic integration

but you do get that with Thrive themes and I can can then continue scrolling down here

we have webinar platforms right here it just will also integrate with the local WordPress

user account system we have recaptured here in there's also some social networking integrations

Facebook Google and twitter it's really awesome I really think that they are ahead of the

curve in making this available in managing all of that is probably because they also

make a product called Thrive Leads so they they obviously have to have these integrations

for that and they can easily use the same code for Thrive Architect I love that now

when you do install and activate you got a pop in your license code I have an agency

membership with them let's take a quick look at the general settings here and this is where

you just get a put something specific like Facebook app ID and stuff like that in disk

I don't actually like to use discuss a personal and suck anyways now the way you use Thrive

Architect as you go to say create a new page and when you're in that page you're going

to have this option right here that says edit with Thrive Architect actually I should just

show you me on a new page so you can see how it is so I'll just go ahead and show you right

here that when you create a new page you have this option right here doubt you can't use

the WordPress editor and Thrive Architect on a page so if you do click on this button

here this is Ed with Thrive Architect now everything you're going to do is good to be

done in Thrive Architect okay so now let me go back to my list of pages and the first

thing I want to talk about that's a probe with Thrive Architect and is something very

unique to them is it comes with this suite of landing page templates there for you so

let me demonstrate it right here I actually already added this one landing page, go ahead

and click on edit with Thrive Architect it's gonna pull up the landing page right now and

here it is so I've already applied a landing page to this and it's beautiful I really wanted

to show this one to give you an idea of the quality of the landing pages that come with

Thrive Architect you can see this is using all kinds of modern elements we have this

shaped tool right here when I scroll down we have this drop shadow on these elements

right there very nice right here I don't think it's using a gradient although we do get gradients

let's see when I scroll down here this is actually really neat they added this really

neat affected going underneath images like this so you can see a frame just kind of underneath

it off to the side these are all advanced things that you're now able to do with Thrive

Architect and as we scroll down it's just a lot more of the same probably a slight gradient

in the background there now in order to look and choose a particular landing page when

you first go into Thrive Architect he would be hit click right here on the wheel on the

top left it's can it take you to our options here but working to click on a template set

up and it's right here landing page and it's right here change in landing page template

so when you click on it it's gonna pull up this overlay and it's going to show you all

of the various landing page options now they do have them organized into sets this one

was in this particular set here here's an entire said I'll just go ahead and expand

and it's essentially an entire funnel so funnels are something that a red hot right now probably

because of a service called click funnels you can use Thrive Architect to build the

beautiful funnels that work perfectly but the benefit is you don't necessarily even

have to create these templates because they are all already made it for you all you would

do is click on any of these templates that you wanted so let me actually go ahead and

do that right now I go ahead and click on this webinar replay because I just want to

show you something someone click on that click on choose template now there are a suite of

elements that are available in Thrive Architect and they kind of have some marketing spin

to it and this is a perfect example and that's why chose this it has a countdown timer right

here and this is something that you don't typically get in all these various page builders

and if you do get a countdown timer it might not be what's known as an evergreen countdown

timer which is something that will make it so when someone visits the page for that person

only is when the countdown timer starts you don't really have page builders that have

features like that so one of the big pros of Thrive architect is the various professionally

designed landing pages Nextel actually demonstrate on this landing pages you have what's called

an in line editor I know I can be a little bit of a techie term and in-line editor means

you can click on any bit of text like this and start editing it now there is only one

other page builder that has that and that is Divi I'm not the biggest fan of Divi but

it is the only other page builder that has in-line editing today I do know some of the

other ones they want to add it now why is in-line editing important if you want to use

a page builder like Thrive Architect for blog posts typically your blog posts are going

to be this long form text content it would be a nightmare a tedious nightmare to build

a beautiful blog post using the page builder without in line editing all the other page

builders you click on the bit of text and it either pops up here on the left for you

to edit or they'll be a pop up and you can edit it right there but it's not truly what

you see is what you get so with the in-line editing you can see right here in this headline

right here it's filed a little differently right you have this headline is section right

here where two different colors you can do that with in-line editing so if I wanted to

say highlight this word Discover and I can click on underline I can see it as I'm doing

it and you're just not getting that with other solutions I love the online editor and you

really if you want to use of a blog post that's when you really see it is actually very very

crucial and it just makes things a lot more convenient and correct so that is in line

editing the next thing I want to demonstrate is something called breadcrumbs so when I

click here you can see right here these are called the breadcrumbs now I have a better

demonstration of this breadcrumbs on this page I put together that I'm been a show some

of the pros with so obviously this right here is not a professionally designed page I put

it to demonstrate this thing called breadcrumbs so what you have right here this blue box

is a background section you can see it there on the top left and then right here you have

two columns so you have the section called columns and then you have the individual column

and then right here you have a content box so let me actually click on something in this

content box to fully demonstrate this breadcrumbs concept I'm clicking on the little airplane

right here in there is the breadcrumbs these are all the different things you get to from

top to bottom so there's the background section the columns the column content box and icon

the reason this is important is because each of these parts of your page have their own

settings so if I wanted to get to the say the content box the settings I can click right

there in the breadcrumbs the column that's just this column not that call not both columns

I can click right there but if I want to edit the setting for both columns globally I click

it right there now what you're doing with these is is creating some kind of a nested

settings so what that means is say I want to change the color of this of these bits

of text and I want to do it not just in the one little container want to do it for all

of it I just want to change the color of this text what you want to do is well today make

it easy I can go to the background section and as you see I got settings here for the

background section so I can click on topography and then here is the color it set the white

but I can change it to whatever I want and it applies to everything within that container

so you have this container system so that is why I think this breadcrumbs feature is

very very powerful she can easily jump into exactly what you want to start editing the

settings of but with one click and you can visually see all of these different containers

this is something you don't get this visual representation of exactly where you are exactly

what you're editing and they built the ability to easily jump to exactly what you want to

edit this is something you're only getting in Thrive Architect with this beautifully

conceived breadcrumbs feature the next Pro and I've used every single page builder is

that Thrive Architect has probably one of the best mobile editing experiences that I've

seen the only one that comes close is Elementor Beaver Builder is not the best mobile editing

experience so what you would do for mobile editing theirs is option right here which

is responsive and then you can click on tablet you can choose mobile and you can see exactly

how it's going to look on those various devices and you can make device specific changes so

typically what this is going to be is headline size the size of your headlines you can see

it's one size right here when I click on it let me go to text option you can see right

here the font size right here is 40 but then when I go to desktop it changes 286 you can

have these as vice specific sizes for fonts and also spacing so how much space is above

margin padding left and right and all of that these are typically things that you run into

problems when you actually look at your website in a mobile device and it's very easy to click

right here see what it looks like on a mobile device and immediately start making those

particular changes you can see this landing page template is already made two areas had

these adjustments made so it's gonna look really good on a mobile device and another

thing that I really like that's unique is you can you can do this with other page builders

you can make certain elements only viewable on certain devices so on anything that you

click so let me click on this video right here you got these responsive options and

you can choose to make this only visible on certain devices know what I like about it

though say I only want this on the mobile so I'm gonna disable it on urban to make it

hidden on the desktop now it makes it disappear on the desktop I really like that other different

page builders you still see it on all of the different views it's actually kind of weird

now if you want to see all hidden elements you go like this and you'll be able to see

it that's just something that I notice in its little touches that that that I really

like another thing that I really like is the layouts in positioning options for just about

every element and also this absolute setting so I want to show you that right now so as

trying to set it up right here so when you click on any of the elements, go ahead and

click on this right here and we have our options here most of them are good have this layout

and position and this is really nice it gives you a nice visual representation for something

called margin and padding margin is the space outside of an element padding is the space

inside an element so for this background section.

Actually I'll do it all go ahead and click on that breadcrumb right and then I go to

layouts and positioning right here so this insight is your padding and outside is your

margin so if I was to click right here and increase it that's the space outside of the

section so essentially if I put it above it's good to push it down so let me get rid of

that now this right here is the spacing inside the element so this is what happens when I

increase that it's going to push everything inside of it down and that's what your margin

and padding is but I just really love how visual this is so it's very easy to comprehend

this is your outside space and this is your inside space know what's really neat is you

have some advance options here that I'm in a demonstrate so I go ahead and click right

here on this little element and now I'm in the layout and position of for the icon right

here we have the advance on the go ahead and expanded right here so first of all we have

this Z index option so little technical that's basically the stacking order of things if

you have two things on top of each other the item with the higher the index number will

always appear on top a little advance there but you have this positioning option right

here auto relative or absolute watch what I what happens when I click on absolute it

pushes it off to the side and it's just kind of a floating there now when you click on

edit position now you can change the position of it so say I wanted it on the top right

corner I can go right here to the top right corner and there it is now that doesn't necessarily

look good at all but then you have this positioning option right here so for the top or the right

so I can go like this and I can move it up higher so say I wanted this airplane right

in the middle I can do something just like that he can easily do this in any other page

builder there's a lot of great use case and errors it probably look better if I maybe

had this airplane in a circle or something like that it might look better actually let

me just do that as a background style let's see if I put something in there like that

and let's see borders and corners I suppose I could go ahead and do this and kind of put

it in a circle so that it kinda looks a little better like that you see where I'm going with

this this is something that's very hard to do another page builders but you get this

really nice easy to use layout and positioning options and then you have advanced options

if you want to add a little bit more design into your website like I just demonstrated

with this absolute option next feature that I really think is nice is the reverse stacking

order now what that means is I have this column right here okay this row when I have these

two columns will typically you see this on a lot of webpages were you'll have an image

and then you'll have some information and then you'll duplicate that because now you

want the image on this side underneath it in the information on the other side but then

you have to kinda duplicated in then drag this there then drag that there it's a little

bit of a pain now you don't have to deal with that with Thrive Architect so I've got this

section here I've got one column here in one column here I will click on a column like

this and then I will go here to columns you see right here with the breadcrumbs coming

in handy and then off to the right here I can duplicate it so now I've got my column

one column two and I have it here okay but say I want to reverse this summit to go click

right here then I'm in a go back to the columns so they're both selected right there and then

here it is in reverse order you see that so now this is column two in this is column one

this is a speed tool so when you're laying out a website if you have these alternating

columns maybe three or four them it's a little clicks like this that make it a lot faster

and a lot easier to build out your website I like that they put the forethought into

these little features like this this reverse order and this is also good for mobile devices

because a lot of times when you have these alternating sections on a mobile device they

don't look good you're going to need to use this reverse order feature for mobile devices

this is one thing that I help you think is cool and you can you can do that to any of

these so I can do it here: 1:2 I can click right here go to columns in the reverse order

and you can see everything just reversed like that I love little tricks like this that speed

up my workflow so let's take a quick look at all of these various modules that you're

getting with Thrive Architect so you're good to get your paragraph text you're heading

in your basic stuff right image button the button builders really nice columns background

sections content boxes content templates this means if you wanted to save an individual

piece of content that you've created for reusing over and over that would be saved and made

into a content template they have these items here that they call building blocks some of

these are useful some of these I never will ever see myself using so click the tweets

actually pretty cool content reveal is super awesome you can have some time content that

reveals at a certain point time this is good for a page that has a video and maybe had

five minutes and you want something revealed and but it doesn't sync up with the video

player but if you had a video on autoplay then you can kinda get it going pretty good

countdown but the Evergreen countdown is really awesome credit cards actually do think the

credit card options are pretty nice I think you have a demonstrated right here the credit

cards it's something simple like that that makes it a little more easy to put things

together on your website you have this custom menu actually I just make sure how this works

so I drag and drop it there and then you can choose one of your WordPress menus although

it doesn't look like it's working for me maybe actually don't have a WordPress menu set up

on this demo site so that's actually really good to have the menu option right there this

is sadly something a lot of page builders don't even have discussed comments I'll never

use that Facebook comments etc. good for landing pages and you want that social proof their

divider fill counter that's good Google map that's great because you can Ashley build

full websites with Thrive Architect I can't I use that a lot and you see him get kinda

down on the list here you have this little pin option right here sign click on that and

it moves it up to the very top of show you right here it's now right here is a pinned

item I actually like that because you can find you have a page builder there's 50 different

elements in there you only use like six or seven of them so this way you can pin them

and you can reorder them actually yes I don't know if you can reorder them we should test

that right so you let me just go ahead and pin that she have a lead generation and this

is where you would create your own pop-up so you can tie it to a button or clicking

on an image or something like that post grade this their implementation of it is just okay

it's good to show grid of the blog posts you might have progress bar social share that's

actually very nice start reading your doing reviews style list a table I think one of

their key elements is that they have that no one has is has is eight people has is that

doesn't sound right table contents is another feature they have that is amazing let me go

explain those but will case we got tabs testimonial toggles video and WordPress content so let's

see if I can reorder these now doesn't look like it that would've been cool I guess it's

the order in which you pin it so the table feature is amazing so you can create a beautiful

table on your page that is easy to manage and change things right now with WordPress

if you want to create a table it's a pain in the but you have to use this plan called

table press and there's other ones are all just a major pain to use but this is the only

like visual tool for creating a data table on your website table contents is awesome

I have use that on many websites that's where it pulls up the different headings that you

have on your page and it automatically creates a table of contents were some can click and

it will basically pull that the title into this type table context box and click on it

it takes them straight down to that piece of content it's a beautiful beautiful feature

they're the only ones that have something like that and so there's a very powerful suite

of elements that are available for you to use and that's one of the huge benefits of

Thrive Architect now the next benefit on talk about iconic touch on it earlier is this whole

ecosystem of plug-ins that can communicate with one another I know that will something

that's coming to thrive is a B split testing I know that they have I'm thinking they might

come out with the final builder but you have this entire suite of plug-ins that perfectly

works together so if you're doing any kind of marketing on your website it's definitely

a suite of tools that you can rely on to get things done for you another benefit that you

don't see you could know if they have any information publicly here they have something

called the thrive University let's see if there's a link up there there isn't essentially

when you buy into a thrive product they have a backend training portal that has tons and

tons and tons of training and it's all there for you some written the training some of

its video most of his video training that shows you that only how to use their products

but how to market your website more effectively and let's see if there's some information

here on its Thrive University that I don't see it actually\'85 Sorry about that that

I'm not so prepared to showcase rough University but basically actually hear him to go ahead

and login okay am now logged into the website and you see right here it says Thrive University

when you click on it it's can it take you to their learning management system this actually

part another plug in that they have that you can use it personally works with Thrive Architect

and Thrive Leads is called Thrive apprentice I do have a review video on it but you can

see these are all courses right here that you can jump in intake and its or its part

of what you're purchasing with Thrive so you can see right here it's his video sets a video

lesson and there some here that say text that the text base course and look look at the

names of these it's not about just Thrive Architect or one of their products 20 tips

to build a mailing list fast 25 design resources right here build a conversion focus website

from scratch you have these courses here that are really really valuable soak in ways that

lists out my pros let's go into the cons because when you're evaluating a product and whether

you can use it or not you typically want to know what's wrong with that in you really

don't know what's wrong with it until you actually habit and try to start using it or

maybe have something to compare it to now Thrive architect fantastic but it's not perfect

and honestly I don't really expect to be perfect because it was only released about a month

ago so I think over time it's been a mature and this can add some of these features and

I did run some of these by the people at Thrive to see where their stances are is this on

the radar to build and I was happy to find out that they're aware of all of these things

and they want to build these features into Thrive Architect so the first thing that they

don't have global settings and global save the elements so what is that so say I want

to let's see right here let me scroll down lets he find something here that's a good

example is nothing good example right here but let me just to tell you basically what

this is so all the other page builders have this wedding saved section is a say right

here I wanted to save this headline exactly as it is now typically you would have this

be some kind of a call to action where there's a bit of text in a button and say you saved

that in you wanted to use it on every single page on your website well with Thrive Architect

you could save it and then on each page you create you can just drag and drop it in place

it in that location on every single page now the problem comes in is when you want to actually

maybe change that bit of text or change some of the text on the button or change a color

if it's not a global save the section what happens is now you have to go to every single

page and make that adjustment it becomes very tedious to manage a large website when you

have to do that to sites on 10 pages and I gotta go into the editor on each of those

10 pages to change that been a texture to change that color because there's no sinking

involved it's not a global element even though it's the same exact thing on every single

page on your website so what they do need to add is a global feature where they can

all be linked together you can make an edit to it on one page and it goes across to all

the other places that you're using that save section on this is something that they absolutely

need to add because right now it's fabulous for building out webpages landing pages sales

pages and stuff like that great blog posts if you have a larger website you definitely

need something like that a globally saved element were there all synced across the next

problem that I see has them do with landing pages so just a moment ago I was saying one

of the best features was these landing pages and they are fantastic the biggest problem

with the landing page though is that if you want to use it it completely overrides your

themes header and footer so you can't take advantage of one of these predesigned landing

pages but haven't sandwiched in on your website underneath your header and above your footer

you can do it so here I'll demonstrate that for you so say I want to create a new page

of the click add new and I'll just name it new landing page a go ahead and click on publish

now on my particular theme I need to tell it that I am going to use a page builder on

this page so when I scroll down right here I need to choose for the content layer on

are the content layout to choose full with stretched and I'm going to disable the title

like that and that should be it for me so if I go ahead and update that and now if I

go to view it we should see nothing really there whoops I think there's one more thing

I need to change regarding the sidebar okay for the site barman to do no sidebars that's

it right there I want to go ahead and click on update let me go to my page let me do a

quick refresh and were to see the blank page all I have is my header in my footer click

on edit with Thrive Architect so now I can start building my page out and by dragging

and dropping content right there so usually want to start with the background section

like that and you start building out your page but I can't use a landing page and have

it sandwiched in here the minute I want to use one of those templates this is what happens

I'll go like this and let me click on the little wheel there a minute click right here

on template set up in the right here I'm in a click on change landing page template and

when I do that I get my landing page templates let me go ahead and expand the set and choose

this one right here yeah just do that one click on choose template now see what happens

is then it just wipes out my header and footer for my theme I wanted use the template but

I want to be able to keep my header in my footer but it just doesn't give you the option

to do this this might be more of an oversight this is how Thrive Content Builder worked

as well it might be bit more of an oversight there should be an option they should have

it so I can go back in here and have an option to still use my themes and header and footer

so if I go to look I look at I don't see any options for it right here I got it on the

content I'm to start creating on Thrive Architect and it's good to be these things that I'm

discovering right now that you might not know but really I think best practices there there

needs to be some content that I create for best practices on building out a particular

page or design for for using Thrive Architect so I'm also building all that content into

my Thrive Architect course that's currently being developed right now and will be available

soon so I really gotta say Thrive Architect is a really solid product and I really like

the direction that it's going they have a lot of experience at Thrive they been there

or not but behind the years they've been doing this for years and I think that that it really

has an exciting future I think really though when they add this AB split testing now maybe

split testing is something that people think they need but they never end up using but

I do think they need to use it once they add a B split testing it's going to really set

this on a new level above a lot of the other page builders because none of them really

our building that Divi does have a split testing thing I don't think a lot of people use it

to be interesting to see how Thrive implemented on their architect page builder so anyways

if you own Thrive Architect I do want to hear what you think about it down below like I

said in the beginning of the video everything that I've talked about in this video which

is essentially the video on my website and Thrive Architect itself is linked down below

once again if you want access to the Thrive Architect courses called Thrive Architect

essentials when you click on the link down below will give you information on that is

what so hey thank you for watching and I'll see you in the next video

4GB of RAM and 64 gigabyte on board storage and one of the major

highlights of the doogee is huge 5050 Mah battery and display

5.5 inch full high-definition display which is flame it's 615 it's of brightness

which is much better than iPhone 7 and at the back 13 megapixel dual

camera at the front 8 megapixel selfie camera with 88 degree wide angle other

features include a fingerprint scanner dual SIM available in three different

colors which is midnight black, marine blue and metal golf well what about the

gaming performance I would not say this is the gaming phone but at the same time

you play more or less you want it I played the graphically demanded game and it

lags a little so I had to put on a lower setting to fully enjoy the game

and what about the battery battery it's very interesting it has special 5050

mah and have fast charging and within 10 minutes of plugging in it you can be

on 40% power, And when you take into account 40% of battery which is 5050

mah, it is not small number sleeve a front facing flesh and dual

rear camera were good of course you cannot compare with cameras of high

smartphones such as Xioami me or Huawei but for this price range it's really

good one and for the average consumer it will be more

enough you can get very interesting budget phone nice design decent battery

good display if you use apps like Facebook Skype Twitter Instagram if you

like to keep simple this one it's for you

of course you also can try new applications socialize through Mobile's

play games and perform other activities it's I like this one do let me know what

and ignore that and create a new fresh one a good practice to name your

campaigns are just by adding the the niche keyword that you're after and the

city that you're targeting so let's go ahead and choose

restaurants restaurants in Denver Colorado

your first campaign now it's ready to get populated with tons of leads once

you have your campaign created go ahead and navigate the search lead and here

are only three simple steps you need to take first just insert your niche

keyword step 2 select geolocation select the number of results you want to see

and just hit search and get as many leads as you want we instantly found 15

local businesses in Denver we also have two important filters you can just show

leads with websites or you can just show leads with emails for both I'll go ahead

and select all these leads you can customize that as well

you don't like particularly let's just add this to our campaign right

in the campaign section you can have a lot of information first of all you get

the information from leads like the business name the website the phone

number the email you also get the number of likes so you get all these cool

information also you get the email sent versus that email open so it keeps track

of who opened your email and a food isn't you can check their google reviews

and see if the lead has a bad reputation so you can offer them reputation

management services or even if the lead is not listed in Google business you can

offer them services to list them and the possibilities are limitless here also

you can generate professional-looking SEO reports that you can deliver to your

leads inbox so you amaze them right from the start and they will be more open to

buy from you fight SEO services or local local SEO services you name it

not relevant to your business so you don't like them gone okay

and the most interesting part is the sending email function so here your user

gets to choose a category of services that they would like to provide let's

say social media services and at the end a template you can just choose from our

high converting templates let's take this for example you see how easy it is

with Eclipse 360 it will autocomplete your subject in your body with proven to

convert email and the power of them are in those placeholders right here you see

them lets pulling out the lead business name and the page likes from your found

prospects and inject them straight into the subject line we also get the chance

to use many other placeholders here if you desire but if not you can just use

the templates as they are and they will work great for you too oh all you have

to do now is just email this lead and done

your email has been sent so in order to prove this I had to read drag the email

to my address so I am going to show you exactly how the email will look like and

here is how the email would look like on your prospects email so it pulls out the

business name and their number of likes the fans this subject line alone makes

it more personable and gets you higher open rates for your emails and just

check the email here you see we are using the placeholders all over the

email their fanpage we make it very very personal with the user and also you can

use your own placeholders to place your name your business name your website and

your personal phone number if you desire to share them with your leads okay so

besides that you also get to see the total number stats here in the campaign

details section or on the dashboard as you choose we also have a set of tools

that we only provide into our pro version of XD 360 which is a lot of

marketing tools and a lot of SEO here tools we provide tons of SEO tools over

50 tools ok so we also provide a function to check prospects competition

so you can check to sides against each other using this option

and into the account section you will find all the downloads the video

training and your settings which you can change anytime you want

remember these settings are also used into the placeholders for email sending

so make sure you make them count thank you for watching this video

BOB 2016 Revolution Flex Jogging Stroller Review - Duration: 12:06.

So a little bit about Bob they really do pride themselves in creating high

quality strollers to help parents get out and explore the outdoors with their

children now the Bob strollers are excellent for

running, jogging even walking but they're also great to go over sand and snow so

really you're not going to be stopped by any conditions if you are using a BOB

now they do have a few different versions but today we're going to show

you the Revolution Flex

Now before we get into that I want to talk to a little bit about jogging with

your child it's never recommended to jog with your child under six months old and

that's even if you're using a car seat with that stroller now the reason for

that is because their neck and spine are not developed enough to take the impact

of jogging so do keep that in mind I honestly would probably be comfortable

at about a year but check with your physician to see if it's appropriate

OK so some key factors to look for to make sure that you do have a jogging

stroller so three main characteristics you want to make sure that it has

increased suspension you should be able to tell by pushing down on the frame of

the stroller and it should bounce back so it should be absorbing some of that

energy also you want to have air filled tires now again that's going to absorb

some of that energy so that your child isn't feeling so much of that impact and

then the third characteristic you're looking for is a locked wheel now you

want to make sure that it's gonna lock in the front position now the reason for

that locking position is so that it requires less effort on the driver to

keep it going straight so it's going to naturally go forward so you're not

having to control as much reducing the energy that you're having to expend so

you can focus on jogging. Now you do want it to be able to lock in the out

position some strollers are actually going to lock here which is fine but the

longer your may able to make your stroller the less effort it's going to

take for you to control it

Okay so now getting into the Bob Revolution Flex specifically so you can

start using this stroller when your child is eight weeks I would personally

feel more comfortable if they could hold their head up because the recline is not

super reclined as you can see so you want to make sure that they have a

little bit of head control before using it so the weight limit on these the

single is going to be 75 pounds and the double is gonna be 100 pounds

dispersed between the two seats so it has a very high weight capacity compared

to other strollers on the market. Now you can start using your stroller with an

infant with the use of additional adapters and your car seat so you can

put in those adapters right here click in your car seat and then you can use it

with an infant so it's not useless until the child is eight weeks old which is

awesome. Now one cool thing that Bob does on their strollers now they have awesome

suspension as you can see but what they did is they make and they made it

adjustable so when your child reaches 40 pounds what you want to do is adjust the

suspension here to accept that higher weight so that's awesome you're gonna

adjust that on both sides

just like that so that it can change the kind of the

center of gravity to support that extra weight now every time you fold it is it

is going to reset so you have to redo it every time when you're using your

stroller with a child that's 40 pounds or heavier

Now like I mentioned you can get adapters and use this with a car seat

now it's compatible with with quite a few brands so that's gonna include Bob

Britax, Peg Perego, Chicco, Graco and of course Baby Jogger and so those you will

have to buy additional adapters that will go in here then you can click it

and use it as a travel system now one thing to mention on this stroller is a

little bit on the heavy side so this single weighs in at about 25 pounds and

the double weighs in at about 33 pounds so that's something to consider when

purchasing your stroller

Now one of the biggest contributors to a

smooth ride in your stroller is actually the tires and this is something that a

lot of people don't consider so you do want to consider the tread what does

that look like but also the size and the material that it's made out of so on the

Bob the rear tires are gonna measure at 16 inches and then the front

tire is gonna be twelve and a half inches

now that large size just means it's gonna roll over rocks and different

terrains so much easier now some other things that make it really nice like I

showed you before you do have that locking mechanism and that you'll just

engage with this little red knob right here and that will lock it into place

you also can remove all the tires for easy travel and to do that you'll just

do this easy release right here and then a really cool thing that Bob has done is

they've actually integrated a tracking system for your front tire

now sometimes it'll get a little off or if you're on a hill it'll kind of track

one way and so you can adjust that with this knob right here and you're just

gonna turn that to the right or left and that's going to adjust your tracking

just a little bit to make it an easier ride. Now on the rear you can also move

remove those tires in this I probably wouldn't do unless you're traveling or

you really are restricted on a trunk space so to release those tires you'll

just lift up on this metal tab in the back and slip it right off

Okay I'm going to show you some of the awesome features of this stroller to

make it a little bit more convenient for you

now it does have an adjustable handlebar so this is actually one of the highest

handlebars that I've seen so it's gonna go pretty low for your short Mama's or

dads but it's gonna go really high as you can see I'm 5'5 this is way

too high for me this would accommodate like a six and a half foot man which is

awesome but one thing to consider is it as a pivot handlebar. Now I actually

prefer a telescoping the reason for that is the furthest it's going to be from

the wheel is about here not at its highest point once you get to its

highest point it's actually closer to the axle and if you're tall you

typically have long legs which means you may actually kick the stroller I don't

know that it's a huge concern with most people but that's something that I

always consider is that there is a point where it starts to get closer to the

stroller as it gets higher or lower so just something to consider. Now it does

have a nice generous canopy UPF 50 plus so it's going to protect your child and

keep them shaded as well as a nice peekaboo window so you can keep keep an

eye on your little one. Now some people don't like the fact that

this is a clear plastic I personally don't prefer it either but

they did that because typically if you're jogging or have a jogging

stroller you're kind of hardcore and you may go out in the rain and you don't

want your little one to get wet now on the recline as I showed you before it's

just a one-hand recline which is nice you're just gonna pinch this little

adjuster pull it down and then to lift it up pull out on those two rings

Now it does have a parking brake this isn't what we would call like flip-flop

friendly just because you do have to use your feet but if you're using a jogger

most likely you're wearing tennis shoes it's gonna fall into place just like

that and then to lift it up just like that so that's just gonna park it into

place so it doesn't roll away while you're not attending it now it does have

an adjustable harness as well to adjust that you're actually going to undo this

velcro here and then move up this clip just like that if you need it above that

position move it all the way up and then velcro it again just below it so it does

only have like really two major that's going to hold it into place but you can

move that clip up and down as you need. Now there is pretty ample storage in

here so there's two side pockets this is great for like sippy cups and your

little little ones snacks you do also have an elastic mesh pocket in the back

and this is more for parents little things and then you also have a pretty

generous storage basket underneath it's not gonna be super easy to get a large

diaper bag down there but it's a lot of space. Ok now how does it fold it's

actually not too bad um so you're gonna do first lift up on these triggers right

here flip it forward and then you're gonna pull up here just like that this

is a two step and you do have to use both hands. Now if you want to lock it

into place you're gonna use this safety strap this you always want to use while

jogging so your stroller doesn't get away from you but then also it has this

red buckle and that you're gonna click down here on the rear axle just to keep

it locked into place so it's easy to lift up and put in your car now as you

can see it is quite big when folding so that's something to consider you will

want to try it out in your car to make sure it fits in your trunk before

purchasing it now to open the stroller just lift up on the handlebar and give

it a gentle shake you don't want to completely shake it out over time that

will wear down your frame so you do want to be gentle when you're opening your

stroller

Now Bob does offer some accessories to make it a little bit more convenient for

you so you can get a parent console to attach to the handlebar and that's just

gonna hold your cup your keys your wallet that sort of thing you can also

get a Sun shield or weather shield if you're gonna be out and about in

inclement weather you can get a snack tray that it will attach here for your

little one and then there's also an awesome fitness kit that you can add to

your workout routine now on this single you can also get a travel bag and those

car seat adapters that I mentioned before unfortunately you cannot get car

seat adapters for the double so that when you're just going to be able to use

with older kids

Okay here are some things to consider when deciding on a jogging stroller so

the Bob is a bit on the large side especially when folded so you do have to

consider your trunk space you also just have to consider convenience it's gonna

be a little bit larger it's also a little bit heavier than your average

stroller and that's just because they had to add in some of those great

features to divert that energy impact from your child so there is a reason for

it now it doesn't have a ton of convenience features for parents in

everyday use so it's not ideal for like a city stroller just taking around town

throwing in your car it but it is an amazing jogging stroller and that's what

we love about it the maneuverability on it is amazing even over sand and rocks

it's just gonna glide right over taking a lot less effort to push which is

awesome we also love that you can add adaptors to use that as a travel system

and use an infant car seat so that you really can use it from birth and one of

the great things about the Bob is that it has such a high weight capacity but

also it has a very generous seat as you can see it's gonna have a large seated

position it's very tall it has ample space for their feet so you really can

use this with a larger child so overall we love this stroller if you're a really

active outdoorsy family this is really going to be an awesome stroller for you

to consider

The BOB Revolution Flex does come in a plethora of colors I also did mention

some other styles so you can get the pro and with that you're gonna get a

handbrake and you can get their basic model which isn't going to have the

adjustable handle or the handbrake so those are some features to consider if

you want to save some money. Now to purchase you can come into our store or

shop online at babycubby.com if this video was helpful please give us a like

or even subscribe to our youtube channel we love doing these videos to help

educate you so that you're buying the right products for your baby

Shadowrun: Hong Kong Extended Edition Review | Cyberpunk Isometric Turn-Based RPG - Duration: 12:58.

Good mornin-afternoo-vening, chummers and welcome to the final episode of Shadowrun

September during which I'll be looking at the final title - as of yet - in the relatively

recent Shadowrun loose trilogy of games from Harebrained Schemes, this is Shadowrun: Hong

Kong Extended Edition.

A big part of the appeal of the Shadowrun games stems from how well they can create

a believable world.

Granted, a solid story and great gameplay will always be considerably more important,

but without a proper setting, the games would just boil down to a few turn-based combat

encounters with a bunch of reading stuffed in between them.

Placing the story and gameplay within a setting that can not only support them, but actually

tie them together, is of critical importance.

All I can say is that Harebrained Schemes managed a wonderful job at it.

You can almost smell the sea air mixed with garbage and hear some gaudily colored neons

buzzing and flickering in the background.

Everything looks as desolate, dingy and dangerous as it should be, an impression that is only

heightened by the very well-written text descriptions.

I have to mention upfront that in order to get the very most enjoyment out of the game's

story, you'll have to do a serious amount of reading, much more-so than during Dragonfall.

Now, I have nothing against it, I actually would love novelizations of both Dragonfall

and Hong Kong stories, maybe with each companion getting their own chapter, or several chapters,

or own books, but some might not have that particular affinity towards the written word

so as to enjoy the game on a purely narrative level as well as the turn-based combat one.

That being said, it is a major part of the game since Shadowrun Hong Kong isn't the

usual free-roaming RPG.

In fact, you're quite limited to the amount of locations that you can visit, NPCs that

you can interact with and in general, the things that you can do.

But as far as I'm concerned, I was so invested and focused on the story and on my companions

that I didn't really feel the need for the free-roaming options of an open world.

I just wanted to see what else I'll get to find out about them after each run, and

how the story would develop further.

That being said, exploring the maps in detail is very satisfactory since it will result

in finding items and NPCs, and sometimes even side quest-givers.

Compared with both its predecessors, the world you have at your disposal in Shadowrun: Hong

Kong seems a bit larger.

If I were to shortly describe the story, I'd have to say it's occasionally intense and

always engrossing.

Each mission, or run, being its own standalone story with unique characters and intrigue.

The way in which you choose to interact with each mission's specific characters will

dictate, to a certain degree, how that run plays out.

This is just as important as your party's make-up and your choices in approaching the

mission to begin with.

As far as general tips go, not being an asshole and trying to help people will usually result

in the most beneficial of results.

The story starts your character off being very, very fucked and requiring the help of

the underworld in order to survive and seek out the person who got you into this mess

to begin with.

It's a solid start, even though a basic, and one might say, a bit trope-ish, but on

the other hand, tropes exist for a reason, they work.

Once you look at all the games in succession - like I just did over the course of this

month - you notice how each one builds upon the accomplishments of the last.

While Dragonfall introduced very compelling companions with interesting individual stories,

Hong Kong goes further and makes the overarcing story the focus and places you at the middle

of it in a very interesting manner.

As opposed to the first two games, where the beginnings of the stories had to do with old

friends and then spun into much larger things, Hong Kong's introduction has a lot more

to do with family, your character's family to be exact, thus placing the player in a

completely different sort of relationship with the events that are taking place, because

as the game goes on, the developers manage to make things seem personal and private.

They manage this also by splicing in some disturbing dream sequences - relevant to the

plotline.

All the characters in the world seem to be having these sort of nightmares, but it was

a stroke of immersive genius to actually illustrate them for the player, as opposed to simply

telling you via a text description that you've just had a nightmare and then describe it.

Shadowrun Hong Kong brings some very interesting people that you can take with you on your

runs.

The great thing is that these are characters that have a story, but more importantly they

have a very personal history that you can choose to look into by talking to them after

each run.

Talking about one's past doesn't gel with the whole personality of being a shadowrunner

so they'll require some coaxing, but trust me when I say that once you start talking

to them, you'll be doubly interested in finishing a run.

On the one hand, there's the money and Karma rewards, and on the other, you get to talk

some more with your party about what happened in their past and as a result find out more

about them.

They're not exactly as interesting as those in Shadowrun Dragonfall were, but they're

pretty close.

Keep in mind though that I might be somewhat biased, since I found it easier to identify

to Dragonfall's characters since they are European, whilst the characters from Hong

Kong come from a completely different cultural background than mine.

But the characters in your party are not the only places where the game's writing excels,

the same can be said about the several NPCs that you'll either have to, or choose to,

interact with.

In the first camp there's your fixer - basically your manager, and a plethora of characters

relevant to each mission in particular, in the second category are all the various merchants

and random NPCs that don't really do anything.

They're just there to add to the overall story and most importantly to the atmosphere.

And saying this I'm referring to the three old men playing GO, but there are many others,

of course.

Going back to the difference in cultural background portrayed in Shadowrun: Hong Kong as opposed

to my own - I read an article after the game's initial release that explained a bit how the

simple introduction of the option to address your fixer with "aunty" - which might

seem a bit odd for most Westerners - showed in fact good knowledge of Chinese customs,

the term for "aunty" being considered both respectful and informal, considering

you're addressing a rather connected underworld actor.

And you'll find a lot of such touches throughout the game-world.

Another quite prominent part of the setting - and of the overall story - is also a specifically

Chinese one, the philosophical system of harmonizing one's environment to one's prosperous

existence, or feng shui.

While in our world, the concept is pretty much akin to and as real as magic, or belief

in deities in general; in the Awakened world of Shadowrun: Honk Kong, feng shui is actual

magic and its tenets are very real things that influence going ons in the world.

Lurking through the BBS forums is both interesting and entertaining and offers a quick glimpse

at an alternate version of the Internet.

Fuck bitching about movies or starting flame wars about which one is better: Marvel or

DC, poetry slams are the rebel outlet of the dystopian cyberpunk future.

There are also at least two, very funny, side-stories that you can follow through the BBS forums,

one of them having to do with a piece of software and the other with quite possibly the unluckiest

shadowrunning team ever.

The Matrix got seriously revamped, things look largely the same but everything is much

more detailed, brighter and considerably more dynamic.

The patrolling programs now have a cone of sight - which you can thankfully see, and

move on some very criss-crossing and intersecting routes.

You need to carefully navigate through the patrols, timing and positioning being key

to either not getting detected, or to getting detected as late in the hack as possible.

They made hacking somewhat challenging and even a bit nerve wracking, it's nothing

more complicated than remembering the correct order of a series of increasing numbers of

digits, but the fact that it all takes place on a timer makes the entire thing much more

involving.

Shadowrun: Hong Kong piles on loads of replay value, especially if we compare it to Shadowrun

Returns.

The main difference being that in Return's case, its replay value was all based on game

system and mechanics, whilst Hong Kong is worth a replay from a story standpoint as

well.

There are various places where you can make different decisions, especially when it comes

to your party make-up, which in turn will influence your play-style, so suffice to say

that Shadowrun Hong Kong has a metric fucktonne of replay value.

As far as the combat system and the classes go, what I said in my Shadowrun: Dragonfall

review is pretty much still valid, although I must say that Shadowrun Hong Kong seems

to be a bit better balanced, either because it increased the amount of HP or of abilities,

or both.

Regardless, when combined with the Matrix overhaul, the combat mechanics in Shadowrun:

Hong Kong are the best of all the three Shadowrun titles.

I like to consider myself one of the view video game reviewers who put particular accent

on a game's soundtrack.

Music and sounds are always an important part of atmosphere, especially when you have such

a thematic setting.

Shadowrun Hong Kong's soundtrack manages to blend the basics of the Shadowrun Returns

soundtrack with a completely different influence, one that is very Chinese in nature.

However, due to this influence, while it makes it work great when supporting the game, it

doesn't work as well when you listen to it on its own.

Whilst the Returns and Dragonfall soundtracks are still very much present on my phone and

I listen to them every now and then.

And since I'm reviewing the Extended Edition, I should also mention what makes it Extended.

You get a few more runs tacked on, after the end of the main storyline and I can say that

in general these runs are characterized by rather long combat encounters.

A couple of them are optional but I would suggest against skipping them since taking

them will only increases your play-time and also gives you access to more Karma points

and money to further upgrade your character.

Granted, only your character can continue growing, your companions will be stuck at

their last level of development, but you can still give them new weapons and whatnot.

There is also a developers commentary option available in the menu now as well, which you

can turn on and listen to that while you play.

I could go on for a bit longer going a bit more in depth with the game, story and characters

but i hope that my point has been made fairly well till now.

Shadowrun Hong Kong is a great RPG, it has an engrossing story, interesting characters

and comes with inherent replay value.

The gameplay mechanics have been fine tuned and polished, so much so, that I would actually

like to play the Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun Dragonfall campaigns within Hong Kong's

engine.

I am curious what you gals and guys thought of Shadowrun Hong Kong, how does it stack

up in your opinion?

Also let me know of some other cyberpunk titles that you might want me to take a look at,

be they video games or tabletop ones.

Also open for suggestions in terms of books and comic books as well, just drop 'em down

in the comments.

And it's about time for some final thoughts on Shadowrun September and the Shadowrun series.

I started this look at the Shadowrun titles spurred on by the results of the Larian survey

which showed that many of the respondents have never played Shadowrun: Hong Kong nor

the first two Fallouts.

And while my friends from GamingHD have been talking about the Fallout series - and you'll

find links to their videos in the description, consider those companion videos to mine - I

focused on revisiting the Shadowrun series, to do my part in trying to convince as many

of you of how solid these games truly are.

And I also hope that the titles' steady increase in level of gameplay and story is

reflected in my videos as well.

Keep in mind that we start with a relatively simple murder mystery in Seattle, we then

switch over to Europe where we deal with some interesting philosophical and political subjects

- not to mention the most compelling characters in the entire series - to then end in Hong

Kong, where we're plunged into a more personal type of story, with arguably higher stakes

than the previous ones.

It's a trip around the Awakened world that could've been just for show, as long as

it stayed true to the basics of Shadowrun cyberpunk dystopia: megacorporations trying

to screw each other, magic, cybernetic implants, underworld power struggles and solid turn-based

combat.

But the settings in the Shadowrun games aren't there just to offer a splash of local colour,

they're an integral part of each game's story and characters, and that's one thing

that is very difficult to keep consistent, or double and triple down on, when making

a video game franchise.

But this is one major difference when said video game franchise is supported by its dedicated

community - through crowdfunding projects - instead of the subsequent games becoming

diluted or streamlined - or multiplayer being shoehorned in at a publisher's demand - so

as to make the games more mainstream palatable.

So make sure you support your favorite indie projects, that's where we're getting the

most amount of innovation and interesting gameplay and stories anyway.

Keep it Shadowrun chummers, null sheen.
