Positive

- Clearly Portable Crash Bandicoot Crash Bandicoot The Huge Adventure, in my

opinion, is and is not a revolutionary game.

There's nothing especially new in the sense that environments, music, normal enemies,

hazards, and bosses return.

The level design isn't too different though these are unique levels within the context

of Crash Bandicoot style levels.

And that's where the game IS revolutionary.

As far as I know, Crash Bandicoot The Huge Adventure was the first portable Crash Bandicoot

game.

When I was little, the idea of having a game like the original PS1 Crash trilogy that I

could carry around and play anywhere was amazing and almost unbelievable.

The Huge Adventure promised portable Crash Bandicoot and that was exactly what the game

was.

Even if the game doesn't do anything especially new, it did succeed in translating an identifiably

Crash style of video game from the 3D platforming of the PS1 to the Gameboy Advance.

The transition was done really well.

Crash clearly looks like himself again while being in a 2D style, whether it's a platforming

level, an underwater level, or a jet pack level.

In each level, you need to finish with the crystal, and optionally collect the clear

and color gems, as well as repeating the levels to finish under a certain time to collect

different colored relics.

A lot of the enemies from the first three games return here, and I really like seeing

enemies that originally started in the 3D games redrawn for the 2D style of The Huge

Adventure.

Some of the sharks in the underwater levels do look like they're in the background, but

that's really my only criticism of the art.

The backgrounds and graphics also look beautiful.

There seems to be a lot of music from the original PS1 trilogy, too, though the song

at the beginning of the game sounds different and I'm guessing is original to The Huge Adventure.

The song at the beginning of the Huge Adventure sounds more fun, more lighthearted than previous

Crash songs.

Most importantly, Crash controls like he's supposed to as well.

He has most of the power-ups from the original trilogy (super belly flop, double jump, and

super speed), except the wumpa fruit bazooka.

He controls well while running and jumping through the levels and he controls well while

swimming.

The game does feature a new level type, similar to the jet pack levels in Crash 2 but instead

of being in space Crash is flying through the skies and avoiding and fighting airborne

hazards like enemy planes and blimps.

These levels change the perspective to a more 3D style, and again, Crash controls quite

well.

I think the other 2D levels have a bit more detail in the background, but these 3D flying

sections have a lot of hectic fighting with the planes and blimps attacking Crash.

The flying levels are a welcome addition.

- Difficulty I found the

levels easier, especially early on, in comparison to levels in the PS1 trilogy.

I was able to gather around thirty lives or so through collecting wumpa fruit (100 fruit

for 1 life as per usual) and crates containining extra lives by the second warp room.

As an example, I was able to to finish every level with the clear gem for breaking every

crate in my first try when I replayed the game in July 2017.

That said, by the third and fourth warp rooms, the levels start to become much more difficult,

or at least they were difficult to me.

By the third warp room I wasn't able to get some gems, and by the final level in the fourth

warp room I was just happy to be able to finish the level.

Even in some earlier levels, bonus sections can also be quite difficult if you want all

the crates.

Most hazards are environmental and enemies don't pose too much of a threat until the

fourth warp room.

Neither Positive Nor Negative

- Boss Fights Boss fights aren't the highlight of the game.

I found the boss fights challenging but not especially memorable, more like Crash 2 than

say Crash 3, where the bosses had more of a personality that shone through in their

dialogue, music, and battle.

Even so, the boss fights are still enjoyable, with the possible exception of the final boss

fight against Cortex.

The final boss fight is appropriately difficult, where you need to trick Cortex into shooting

gems with his laser by putting Crash in front of the laser and jumping away at the last

moment.

Maybe it's just me, as I'm not very good at video games, but I kept thinking the timing

seemed random because even though the reticle pointing at Crash would change from green

to red I just couldn't figure out the timing.

Honestly, though, I'd bet the timing wasn't random and I was just bad at

the game.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Review and Unboxing: iPhone X Killer or Not? - Duration: 10:19.

Hey everyone!

This is Tech Brothers.

I have to confess, I love Xiaomi company.

It is one of the best Chinese manufacturers, which is ready to compete with worlds brands,

such as Apple, Samsung, Google and others.

Xiaomi Mi Mix was the first bezel-less smartphone, and now only the laziest Chinese manufacturer

did not release device without bezels.

Two weeks ago Xiaomi launched the generation of this smartphone, and we already received

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 for detailed review.

The company listened to its users, and made few changed in Mi Mix 2.

So, will it be able to compete with LG V30, Galaxy S8 and iPhone X?

Let's find out in our review.

Unboxing Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 comes in a big black box.

It is reliable, high-quality and definitely different from budget devices from Xiaomi.

There is MIX logo on the front panel, and some Chinese inscriptions and a signature

on the back.

Inside the box you can find, SIM ejection tool, USB-C to USB-A cable, a wall adapter

and even a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack dongle.

It is very useful, because smartphone doesn't have 3.5 mm audio jack.

Also, there is protective polycarbonate case for Mi MIX 2, which looks and feels really

nice.

Design One of the bigger changes is that Mi MIX 2

has rounded sides.

This makes it easier to hold in hand.

Also, ceramic back isn't as slippery as the original model.

The front panel of Mi MIX 2 is basically all screen.

About 80.8% of the front is display, so there is almost no room for front-facing camera,

LED notification light and other things.

At the top you can see regular speaker for making calls.

At the bottom, you'll find a notification light, and front camera in the lower right

corner.

You can upside-down the smartphone to take selfies.

Xiaomi is very proud, that new smartphone does not have a notch for front camera, like

iPhone X, and we agree with Chinese company.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 looks much more attractive.

The back panel has camera, which protrudes from the body, flash, fingerprint sensor,

and inscription – Mix designed by Xiaomi.

By the way, the camera bump because it has 4-axis OIS.

We'll talk about it later.

On the bottom of smartphone is, USB Type-C port, speaker on the right and a microphone

on the left.

On the top, you will find another microphone.

On the left side there is dual nano SIM card slot, and right side has power button and

volume rocker.

Xiaomi has added antenna lines on the top and bottom, which are pretty dark, so they

are almost invisible.

And since it's a ceramic back, there's no need for antenna lines on the back of the

device.

Mi MIX 2 feels really good in the hand.

It is definitely smaller than original version, but it is still 5.99-inch display, so it's

not a small smartphone.

The curved sides makes Mi MIX 2 easier to hold in the hand.

I really like the changes from Xiaomi.

Display If you look at specifications, Xiaomi Mi Mix

2 is equipped with Full HD Plus display, with 2160 by 1080 pixels.

You may ask – why not Quad HD?

Because it does not offer many advantages over Full HD.

The display looks very good, and the only complaint that I have is LCD panel instead

of AMOLED.

It still looks good, but with an AMOLED panel it would look even better.

As for the brightness, the display is bright enough to see, no matter what lighting condition

you are in.

You can use the smartphone outdoors in direct sunlight.

By the way, you can adjust the temperature to make it warmer or cooler.

Also, the settings menu offers to adjust the contrast and colors, but I prefer automatic

contrast, so display looks pretty good.

There is dedicated reading mode that acts as a blue light filter.

Performance Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is flagship smartphone, so

it comes with the most powerful hardware.

It is powered by latest processor, Snapdragon 835, graphics Adreno 540 and 6GB of RAM.

The smartphone has three storage configurations: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

By the way, the storage is UFS 2.1, which is pretty fast.

Mi Mix 2 does not support microSD card, so if you store a lot of music and photos, you

should take a model with lots of memory.

Mi Mix 2 runs on latest MIUI 8, that providing great optimization for UI elements.

The smartphone just flies through everything.

You don't have any slow downs, lags or other ptoblems with user interface.

If we talk about benchmarks, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 scores about in Antutu test, which puts

it in third place just below OnePlus 5 and HTC U11.

Later we will publish video with detailed performance test, but we have no doubt that

you can play any games, run applications, multitasking and other stuff.

Check out desctiption, under the video, there you can find links to performance test.

Battery life 3400 mah battery if quite standard for flagship

smartphone 2017.

You might think that this is enough for full working day, but it is not true.

I used the smartphone all day long, and before I went to sleep, it had 40%.

It means that Mi Mix 2 has about one and half, or even two days of battery life.

And if you use battery saving features, you could get even more.

Also, I should say about charging time.

Mi Mix 2 supports fast charging technology, called Quick Charge 3.0.

It is not the latest version of technology, because some flagship already used 4.0.

So, the battery of Mi Mix 2 charges from 0 to 100% for about 2 hours.

Later, we will publish video with detailed battery test.

Calls and networks Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 supports 43 LTE bands.

I should note, that some other global smartphone supports only 37 LTE bands.

It means, that you can use Mi Mix 2 worldwide, including USA, Europe, Asia, Africa.

The smartphone also have VoLTE and WiFi Calling.

Calls, both through the traditional voice network and using VoLTE, works very well.

I don't have any drops while making calls with Mi MIX 2.

The man on other end was able to hear me loud and clear, even with the pretty thin earpiece

on Mi MIX 2, I can here him also great.

Camera The camera Mi Mix 2 is similar to other flagship

smartphones from Xiaomi in 2017.

It uses 12 megapixel sensor Sony IMX386, just like Mi6.

However, Mi6 has dual rear camera, and Mi Mix 2 only one.

On the front panel there is 5 megapixel camera.

The camera app has minimal and easy-to-use interface.

Here you can find plenty of modes, such as Audio, Beautify, Square (1:1), Timer, Panorama,

Manual, Group Selfies and others.

The manual mode includes ISO, Exposure, Focus and White Balance.

Also, there is HDR mode.

This is our first review and unboxing.

Later we will test the camera in details, and publish video on our channel – Tech

Brothers.

Conclusion Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has the same design idea,

as its predecessor: all-screen front with almost no bezels on three sides, and a ceramic

body.

However, new smartphone is more comfortable to use, thanks to its 6 inch display, and

curved sides.

Of course, it it flagship device with the most powerful hardware.

You should not have any problems with performance.

The camera looks similar to Mi6, but we need to test it before final words.

The price of Mi Mix 2 start from $580.

It is cheaper, than Galaxy Note 8, LG V30, or even iPhone X.

It is really good smartphone for those, who wants wonderful design and high performance

for reasonable price.

Thanks for watching!

In description, under the video, you can find links where to buy mi Mix 2 cheaper.

Xiaomi Mi A1 Review: Almost A Match Made In Heaven - Duration: 5:01.

Hey there, Alex here.

This is the Xiaomi Mi A1,

an Android One device from the Chinese manufacturer in collaboration with Google.

You might be asking, what is Android One?

Okay, here's a quick explanation.

About 3 years back,

Google had the brilliant idea of trying to make low cost Android phones suck less for

developing markets.

So they partnered with local OEMs to create a line of cheap devices that ran stock Android.

Without all the bloatware that manufactures like to put on their devices,

these devices were able to at least provide a better Android experience for the budget

conscious buyer.

In a nutshell.

Cheap phones that runs stock Android.

Back to the Mi A1.

Essentially it's just a rebranded Mi 5X running stock Android.

It's the same premium but pedestrian looking design,

and the same hardware specifications,

which might not be all bad.

The 5.5" display is good looking enough in most lighting conditions,

it has a decent sounding speaker that can get pretty loud,

the headphone jack has a standalone amp that provides good sound quality and volume,

the fingerprint sensor works reliably,

you have the option to choose between using dual SIM or a MicroSD card,

and you even get an IR blaster that some people may still find useful.

It's also using the tested and proven Snapdragon 625 chipset

paired with ample amount of storage and RAM.

It's a little long in the tooth now,

but it still provides a nice balance between power and efficiency.

So I haven't really had any issues with day to day stuff.

However, if you're an avid gamer,

it does stutter a little when playing some graphically intensive games.

But they are still mostly playable if you're not too particular.

RAM management is surprisingly good too for a device in this price range,

even after switching to a couple of other apps,

I can jump back into my games again without missing a beat.

I am a little disappointed about the battery size though.

Considering the size of the phone,

3,080mAh is just a bit on the smaller side.

I get about a day of use on it with a bit of light gaming, but not much more.

Also, there is no support for any form of fast charging.

Another slightly disappointing aspect of the phone,

is the lack of an NFC chip for Android Pay,

and the MIUI style capacitive buttons.

It's probably an effort to cut cost,

but I think those would have made the phone a lot more compelling for me.

One of the headlining features of the Mi A1,

would be its dual 12MP camera.

It's the usual wide angle and telephoto lens setup, so you get 2 times zoom,

and a portrait mode.

It works decent enough if you're into that sort of thing,

but I don't really find it that useful since it only works in good lighting.

For normal shooting, it's a perfectly serviceable camera,

but definitely not flagship level.

Well, maybe a flagship phone from a few years back.

The dynamic range isn't that great,

and there isn't an auto-HDR feature,

so you'll have to turn it on when you need it.

In low light, I need to hold the camera a bit steadier to avoid camera shake, and with

a bit of patience,

I'm still able to get some decent looking shots.

Just keep in mind the actual price of the phone,

and you'll be happy with the results.

Video recording is probably one of the weaker aspects of the phone,

lacking any sort of stabilisation even for 1080p recording.

The 5MP front camera is also rather underwhelming.

Something that I'm sure some of you guys noticed is that the camera app is actually

not Google's.

It's Xiaomi's own camera app because of the dual camera.

And that's not the only addition to the software.

There is a Remote app as well for the IR Blaster, and a Feedback app.

You'll also find some traces of Xiaomi too in settings.

Which is why Xiaomi is actually the one handling the software updates for the phone, not Google.

They did promise an update to Android Oreo by the end of the year,

and that it'll get the next major version of Android as well, but I'll believe it

when I see it.

Right now the phone is still running the August security patch.

This is actually the main selling point of the phone to me.

The software experience.

But when it comes to stock Android, there isn't really anything much to talk about.

Like the basic split screen feature, fast app switching, and app shortcuts.

And that's what I really like about it.

It's simple, clean, and only has the essentials.

It's not going to be suitable for everyone,

which is why if you want software features,

you can simply go for the Mi 5X.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 is for people who likes the stock Android experience,

but don't want to pay a huge amount of money for a Google Pixel.

Pretty much everything about the phone is good enough for its price,

and the fact that it runs stock Android is a huge plus.

At its current price, it's a pretty compelling option when compared to other similar devices

like the Moto G5 Plus.

The combination of affordable Xiaomi hardware,

and clean Google software is almost a match made in heaven for me.

If only it has an NFC chip, and the proper android navigation buttons.

Thanks for watching my review of the Xiaomi Mi A1.

If you liked it, be sure to give me a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel.

Thanks, and see you guys on the next one.

Rittz - Last Call | Album Review - Duration: 10:23.

What up youtube.

Topaz Yates back with another album review.

This time to Rittz Last Call.

And I am giving this one the green light and I am astonished by this.

As this is something no one else has consistently done.

See when I first came across Rittz it was my homie LQ Beatz I believe.

And when I first heard him I knew it was special and that he was great.

I will go to my grave knowing that The Life

and Times of Johnny Valient was a classic.

Then came Next To Nothing, personally I was not a fan of that and this is key.

Even as my family enjoyed that album I never really did

as it didn't make my top 5 albums of the year.

See I am here to give props where they are

due not just because I am a Rittz fan.

Next came Top of the Line.

I was thinking that he would find the medium

betweet those two albums and that would be his career.

That

album again was a classic

that I will take to my death bed believing

in.

Now the same can be said with

last call.

Excellent choice

The show is pretty simple

with a clear problem for the main character

A woman that doesn't belong in heaven creates a great setting for some funny and painful situations

a lot of bizar stuff happens

and it's just really funny

I laughed out loud so that's a good sign

the other characters

like Chidi, Janet, Tahani and Jason

are well thought out and all contribute to the story and the bigger problem

The creator is Michael Shur

Shining Force Review - An Actual RPG on the Genesis! (Genesis/MegaDrive) - Duration: 7:56.

Shining Force is a tactics role-playing game for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive

that arrived in North America in 1993 with the subtitle "The Legacy of Great Intention."

Whatever that means.

The story follows Max

a guy that was found washed up on a beach with amnesia.

Hmm...that sounds familiar..

Anyway, he has become best friends with a local guy named Lowe

and has been studying under Lord Varios.

One day a mysterious man named Kane, who works for Darksol,

appears with the armies of Runefaust and attempts to break into the Shining Path

a place that holds the destructive Dark Dragon.

After the king sends Max and his friends to stop Kane,

the group is pulled into the nefarious plot of Darksol and must travel the world to stop him.

Interestingly the original translation of the game on the Sega Genesis

completely left out the fact that max is an amnesiac

which makes the revelation of who Kane is

-without spoiling I'll say that Max knows him -

completely pointless.

It's especially strange given that the translation is pretty good for a game that came out in 1993.

Breath of Fire 2 was released 2 years laters

and has one of the worst translations ever.

There's a plot divergence in the Game Boy Advance remake of Shining Force

in that you play as the princess of Runefaust, Narsha,

as well as Max.

After realizing that the king has been possessed by Darksol

she seeks out the Shining Force and eventually joins the main group after the first 6 chapters

To perhaps compensate for a lack of voice acting

all of the characters' dialogue is punctuated with sound effects

and while I normally don't mind that kind of thing

the tones they went for in this game are a little annoying.

Actually the music is fairly annoying as well.

The actual compositions aren't bad

if I find re-orchestrated versions, some of the songs are really amazing

but I vastly prefer to play this game with other music playing.

I think this really just comes down to personal taste

as I just don't really like the Genesis' sound chip.

Sega might have had BLAST PROCESSING

but the Super Nintendo creamed them in sound quality.

At least I think so anyway.

The gameplay in Shining Force is fairly standard for an isometric, turn-based title

but does differ in the way turns work.

Most modern games of this type have you move all of your characters in a single turn

before you pass it over to the enemy team

but that's not the case here.

The game sorts out every character and enemy into a turn order

and it moves from person to person

which means that you could have multiple enemies taking actions in the middle of two of your characters'.

This adds a different layer of difficulty to the game

as you could move one character to attack an enemy and then end up surrounded.

It would be a little easier if the game told you the movement order but it doesn't.

So you have to either memorize it as you go or just wing it.

The AI isn't even all that smart

it tends to move in very specific ways

but it can easily overwhelm you this way, leading to much more drawn out battles.

Speaking of not showing things

there isn't really much of a HUD to speak of here.

The game will show you a character's stats when it is their turn

but other than that, everything is hidden.

The only way to see more detailed stats

is to press a button when on a character and then press another one to bring it up.

It's oddly convoluted and kinda slow for a game on a cartridge.

Hiding everything like this does keep the screen from being too crowded

but I honestly would've preferred more information as switching is just kind of a pain.

Despite movement being tricky and the lack of HUD being annoying

the battles are generally quite fun in their simplicity.

There aren't any elaborate combo attacks or anything of that sort

just pure smashing things with weapons and magic.

If you're looking for something simple, Shining Force is a great choice.

Of course there is a problem with that simplicity

and it comes along with the territory of older, more archaic games.

The lack of more modern tweaks

means that you're probably going to be annoyed by some backwards-ass systems.

First of all

despite your characters gaining EXP to level up and become more powerful

the game doesn't offer you any side quests or random enemies to fight

so all you can do is fight in the main storyline battles.

It DOES seem like they thought of this at least a little bit though

as when you're killed you end up back at the last priest you visited without losing any progress.

So if you're really in need of some EXP

you can go into a battle,

fight as long as you can in order to gain some levels

and then die and try it again.

This works well enough but you will need to pay the priest a sum

to revive every single dead character, so be careful about your money.

There's another little nit to pick in that the RPG elements of exploring towns

and talking to people feels a little redundant at times.

There are times where it has you talk to a character

leave the screen to trigger an event

and then has you walk straight back.

It's cool that a game this early doesn't just have you going from battle to battle

but sometimes the exploration is just pointless.

At least there is treasure to be found and new characters to recruit from time to time.

The second old school aspect

and arguably the most annoying thing ever

is the inventory management

and good GOD have games come a looong way.

You can only buy items one by one,

every character has a limit of 4 items each,

- which effects treasure chests by the way, as in if Max's inventory is full

you can't get the items out -

you can't see what an item does just by selecting it,

and once your inventory is full

you have to pass items around. One by one.

The upside here is that you aren't going to be managing hundreds of items at once

but that's cold comfort when you have to deal with this tedium CONSTANTLY.

Equipping is dealt with slightly better

in that you can see which characters can use the weapons when buying from a shop

Buuuuut

the game forgets to let you know when it's just sitting in your inventory.

Have fun passing that random item around for 20 minutes while you try to figure out who it's for.

Can you tell what the worst part of the game is yet?

At least the graphics are a pretty great part of the game.

Everything is nicely colourful

- although there is an overemphasis of green for some reason -

and every character sprite looks unique.

What's also really neat is when battles take place on maps that you were just walking around normally on

like in towns.

The in-battle graphics are especially cool and blew my mind as a kid.

It wasn't common to see these large, super detailed sprites in games

and the addition of the neat effects were icing on the cake.

These sequences have been outdone

but these were definitely cool back in the day.

Overall I found Shining Force to be a fun game to play and my issues with it were small

except for the item management aspect.

While I've played enough retro games to be able to handle the frustration

this could be a deal breaker for some.

Add in the other nitpicks like the annoying music

and the length of the battles

and I'd have to say this one is firmly in the try before you buy category.

You may love it

or you may very well hate it.

AMERICAN MADE - Movie Review - Duration: 4:04.

hey guys Rex overdrive girl with another movie review in this time we're talking

about American made

a commercial pilot gets recruited by the CIA and ends up in one of the most

covert operations in the history of the United States I was really looking

forward to this movie especially since this is another team up with Tom Cruise

in director doug liman in live die repeat or edge of tomorrow whatever you

want to call that movie is such an awesome film and I really haven't been

digging Tom Cruise's last few movies Jack Reacher to never go back or The

Mummy I wasn't really too hot on those I thought they're pretty crappy but this

is definitely a return for this guy and this is based on the events in the late

70s and early 80s where the Colombian cartel was forming and pretty much berry

sealed Tom Cruise's character helps that become such a massive empire by helping

smuggling drugs and weapons into the United States I really had a good time

watching this this is definitely a fun and fast-paced film there's really no

downtime in this film but every once in a while they sprinkle in those like

moments where you can get attached to his character and his family but for the

most part this move is just constantly moving and there's also a lot of news

footage that they threw into this movie I'm not sure how true to the actual

story this film stayed but I really dug it the way they told these crazy and

wacky events that actually happened I'm sure some stuff was changed or

exaggerated a bit but for the most part I loved the way they told this story and

it actually felt like walking out of this theater that I learned something

and like I said earlier this is a fast paced movie but the way they're able to

tell this story and bring you on this journey and it's just so crazy bizarre

that this shit actually happened you have to give credit to the director doug

liman for a lot of that and domhnall gleeson is also in the film and he plays

this slimy CIA agent who recruits barry towards the beginning of the movie

and I really enjoyed this character he's kind of a pretty shitty guy and he

doesn't really have Barry's best interests or actually really care about

him but the dynamic between those two was really good this is definitely a fun

and engaging movie but the strongest part about this movie is the pacing how

it goes event to event telling all this stuff from this guy's life smuggling

drugs and weapons for the Colombian cartel and the

man it just lets you as the viewer take in all these events and information but

allows you to move on to the next one in a great way and there's really not a lot

that I disliked about this movie but I guess if we need to nitpick a few things

it's a little thin on some things like you never really get to dive deep into

these characters or emotions and there's certain times where I feel like there's

not that much at stake here like he's in some pretty serious situations but you

never really feel that full tension that the movie could have put that character

in but for the most part it's just a fun entertaining popcorn blockbuster movie

with Tom Cruise I really had a good time if this just really had a bit more depth

or emotion to the characters I think this would have went from just a really

solid movie to something really fantastic but I really had an awesome

time watching American made I really think you guys should check this one out

so with all that said I'm gonna give American made of B+ guys if you saw

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance [Review] - Duration: 12:36.

This Heroes business has led me to realize something…

Playing 3 mobages at once is impossible, how do the Japanese manage it!?

But beyond my addictions, it led me to question myself what really was my stance in regards to the Fire Emblem Saga,

and that's why it's time to return to Tellius, with that hero everybody knows and yet doesn't, to that world where Fire Emblem isn't exactly the same.

Today in the origin of species, the ninth entry of the saga, the path of the blue flame, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.

And no, it's not the game of Marth or Roy.

But Ike's in there!

It was the year 1988, back then Intelligent Systems was a small studio collaborating with Nintendo, while they were involved with the development of Metroid, one of the most iconic brands of the plumber's company,

their first foray into the spotlight came from their next game, a game that defined and introduced the mechanics of turn based strategy not only to Nintendo, but eventually occident as a whole.

That game.

Wasn't Fire Emblem.

It was Famicom Wars, the first entry in the series the western world would know as Advance Wars, the game let you choose between two armies, and in each map you had to finish the enemy army or take control of their base.

The game garnered praise from the critics, and even got a prize or two, and while it was a success with the players, there was an undeniably barrier between famicom wars and the Japanese public.

Wars had an ideology and aesthetic that belonged more in America, it was in a way, a foreign product.

IS decided to change their focus for the next title, here comes Shozou Kaga, presenting the initial idea, besides being the writer and designer.

That new game, would be Fire Emblem.

Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light.

The game told the story of Prince Marth, descendant of the hero who in the past defeated the shadow dragon Medeus,

and after his kingdom is put at risk by the ambitions of the sorcerer Gharnef, Marth shall assemble a team of warriors to restore peace to the continent, and face Medeus again.

For the time the level of story in Fire Emblem was amazing, and that focus also reached the cast, unlike Famicom Wars where you controlled units divided amongst classes,

but with no real personalization, each unit in Fire Emblem was an unique character, with it's own strengths.

But this still was a war, and any character to fall in combat won't rise again.

The Japanese public loved Fire Emblem, between the challenge, the extensive story, and the unit individualization, Fire Emblem simply was a new experience.

Kaga continued on the saga until it's fifth entry, delving deeper on the support mechanics, the character interactions, inventing the weapon triangle, and basically, giving Fire Emblem it's unmistakable identity.

Kaga's departure from IS resulted in the cancellation of the Nintendo 54 project, Fire Emblem's next jump would be towards the Gameboy Advance,

in 2002, Fuin no Tsurugi, the Sword of Seals, it'd be the first Fire Emblem Entry on a portable console.

While Fire Emblem was so far a japan exclusive brand, Marth's and Roys' games would accidentally bring the brand to international markets.

Both of them were chosen as fighters for Super Smash Bros Melee, and when the game was released in the rest of the world, the duo received both confusion and adoration from the players,

Roy in particular was one of the most beloved new additions.

And yet, the final push came from it's older sibling, Famicom Wars, while their newest entry, Game Boy Wars Advance was meant to be another Japan exclusive release,

the team at Nintendo America loved the game, and it was released as Advance Wars.

Advance Wars was a complete success, obtaining almost perfect scores on all magazines, and that change Nintendo's belief that strategy games had no place in the western market.

On 2004, Rekka no Ken, the blazing blade, was released in the west simply as Fire Emblem, a prequel that told the story of Eliwood, Roy's father, form that day on, all the titles on the series have been released out of Japan,

with the exception of New Mystery, however, only two of these games would come back to home consoles, those that saw the birth of the brand.

And the first of those two is Soen no Kiseki, the path of the blue flame, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.

It's the year 195 of the After Colony.

Wrong narration.

Are you for real!?

I can work with that.

It's the year 626 in the continent of Tellius, a plague hits the territory of Daein, one of it's generals mysteriously disappears.

Year 627, Ashnard, the only survivor of the tragedy becomes the 13th king of Daein and…

You know how all Fire Emblem seem to start with a narration that tries to explain everything at once, but since the universe is completely new to you, you don't get anything?

Path of Radiance is not that kind of game, the story is set in the new continent of Tellius, and focuses on Ike, the son of Grel, leader of the Greil mercenaries,

a group of swords for hire that defend the people in the borders of Crimea.

When Ike is adapting to his new position inside the group, Greil finds out that the kingdom of Crimea was invaded by the neighboring Daein, under the orders of King Ashnard, despite the complaints of Soren, the group's tactician,

the mercenaries decide to recon the area, to find out more about the conflict, treated immediately as enemies of Daein, the group is attacked, and after the skirmish they find Elincia, the secret daughter of Crimea's king, and only heir to the throne.

Despite the suspicious nature of the situation, Daein's desperation to recover Elincia confirms her story, Ike and the Greil mercenaries will be hired to protect the princess, the last hope to rebuild Crimea.

The journey will take them though all of tellius., saying goodbye to Crimea, visiting Begnion, from where all of Tellius originates, crossing Gallia, Kilvas, Goldoa and Phoenicis, the lands of the Laguz,

a humanoid species who can take animal forms, and who share a deep grudge towards the beorc, Ike's species.

The trip will even take them to the heart of Daein, where Ike and company will find out that their intervention in the conflict is not a mere coincidence.

If you've played a Fire Emblem you've played them all, Path of Radiance is a turn based strategy game,

each map has an objective, ranging from defeating all enemies, to surviving a set amount of turns, or capturing the enemy base.

At first glance the main difference are the units, each unit is a character of it's own, with strengths and disadvantages, and if they fall in combat, they won't rise back, giving a sudden end to their story.

While most classes are not exclusive to the character itself, their weapon affinities and stats are, and to that PoR adds the idea of Bioryhthm, which shows when a character is at their best or worst.

Each unit has it's own movement range, and each weapon it's attack range, so a sword won't be able to hit someone 3 squares away, but a bow might, and to that we add the weapon triangle,

all weapons, both physical and magical are in a rock paper system, and following it gives bonus damage both to players and enemies.

Returning form past console games, PoR brings back skills to the forefront, certain characters come with skills by default, which can vary from dealing extra damage, healing or even modifying the way they obtain experience,

but instead of being hereditary like they were in genealogy, skills are tied to scrolls, one use items that confer their respective skill.

Give Ike the occult scroll, don't ask me why, just do it.

Beyond that, the biggest change Tellius offers is the separation between Laguz and Beorc,

Beorc are essentially humans, and follow the classic rules, but Laguz become some sort of Manakete replacement, with new mechanics.

The Laguz are defined by their ability to change into an animal form, but they can't remain in that state forever,

all laguz have an unique bar, that fills with combat and the passing of turns when they are in human form, but diminishes with each action in their animal form.

As a result you'll need to handle their bars to get the most out of them, because a transformed laguz is a very strong unit, but an untransformed one is unable to attack, making it an easy target.

It's a mechanic that balances itself, and also applies to enemies, allowing you to exploit it.

PoR also brings with itself the simplification of various mechanics, arenas from past entries are gone, changing it for bonus exp,

experience points that can be granted at will on your base, and you get from clearing levels in an specific manner.

Any Beorc who reaches level 20 will automatically promote, without the need of an item.

And supports don't require units to stand alongside each other, just to be on a same mission, allowing you to build the relationships of the team without sacrificing combat efficiency.

Though, it's not like combat is a huge challenge, PoR is the kind of game where any unit has the potential to become a one man army, Bonus EXP means nobody really is dead weight, and the maps aren't anything special.

The fun mostly comes from the established and improved mechanics, over the level design, because most of the maps are forgettable, and those that do pose a challenge mostly rely on cheap gimmicks that aren't repeated.

PoR is the kind of Fire Emblem where the focus is on killing efficiently, over surviving.

That said, PoR's strength is not it's mechanics

like I said at the start, this time the story is not told through exposition, we discover the world first hand through Ike, and on one hand that does make him look dangerously naïve, as he seems to know next to nothing about his own world.

But at the end of the day it works very well, because you get to understand and know each part of the continent on your own,

the relationships between the areas are complex, but you won't have any problem accepting them because you are living them through the game.

That and the differences not only between Laguz and beorc, but also the tribes of Laguz, makes Tellius feel like a living continent, and each region like a truly different kingdom.

The cast is also an improvement, Supports are special conversations between units that reach you more about the character, and simplifying their process lets you see many more of them, giving life to your army.

Besides that, the game contains the so called base Conversations, which show Ike interacting with his army or NPCs

and those give tons of characterization to the group in comparison to past entries, some characters have complete arcs in there.

Even the towns feel genuine, one of Kaga's ideas was to show that war wasn't a black and white deal, but while it was an idea that Fire Emblem had toyed with in the past, PoR was where it finally settled down,

all the kingdoms have both respectable and despicable characters, ranging from the big names to the simple NPCs, in particular I love the way villagers react when you visit their houses.

In games like Genealogy or Rekka no Ken, even if you were on theory invading a town, it's residents would shower you with praise, because they hated their tyrannical leader, here, Daein hates you,

even if you are only recovering what belonged to Crimea, the people despise you, because you are bringing war to their doors, and that gives the people of Daein an amazing level of personality for the enemy faction.

On the other hand, Ashnard and his lackeys are nothing to write home about, and it's weird, because the mini-bosses, so to say,

have always been one of the most memorable parts of the franchise, whether it's due to their devotion, honor or insanity.

Ashnard and his gang are nothing, only one is relatively memorable.

Not everybody can be Ishtar, I get that, but give me something better than petrine, I beg ya.

And that has to do with it's final arc, its short and strangely abrupt, PoR spends too much time setting up it's world to have such a short ending,

IS once said that PoR was something like 75% of a game, and once you reach the final run, you understand that.

The final map is nice and all, but it's like PoR was taking a pause instead of ending.

PoR is an odd title, because it didn't reach the level of optimization Awakening or even it's Wii successor had, and the repetitive maps will disappear from your head in time.

But the simplification and it's difficulty level let you get used to the saga, and its story being new and so well told, makes it a great entry point.

More than a recommendation to strategy games fans, it's a recommendation for RPG fans, or simply those than enjoy a good story about kingdoms at war and noble heroes.

Because while PoR is an enjoyable adventure, and a very polished game, it's not really a turn based challenge, it's more of a power fantasy, where you'll eradicate armies n your own.

While that unusual end should make me harsher to the game, nothing changes that it is the best told Fire Emblem I've played, the presence of the Laguz gives it a completely new identity, and Tellius itself is memorable.

It's weird to say this about a game of the series, but this Fire Emblem is about the story, the characters, the crusade of Ike and Elincia, rather than about virtual units in a chess table.

That said, the reason I can end this on high note despite it's shortcomings is clear, PoR is simply a first part, it makes sense that it focuses on establishing it's world, because it's conclusion has not been reached.

The blue flame gives room to the goddess of dawn, next on the origin of species, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

No seriously, I played it again and everything.

I wrote the script.

There's going to be a sequel video. Do panic.

Sony XB60 Review - Now You Can Have Wall Shacking Bass EVERYWHERE - Duration: 16:48.

Sony didn't just drop their 1000XM2 headphones last week, they also released two new portable

Extra Bass speakers.

THIS is the Sony GTK-XB60, if you've ever thought hmm….

Like the XB40 but I wish it was larger and much louder then the XB60 is your answer.

So, how does this new speaker preform?

We're about to find out.

Don't forget to like comment and subscribe and you can watch some of my other videos

here after you're done watching this video.

And there will be a sound test at the end of this video too.

Like most Sony speakers, the Sony GTK-XB60 come in multiple color ways.

You can either get it in black or blue.

The Sony XB60 currently retails for $349.99 and its just $100 more than the XB40.

But unlike the XB30 and XB40 which also have a hundred dollar price difference between

them but only slightly minor performance differences… the jump from the XB40 to the XB60 is much

bigger.

If you want to pick this speaker up I'll have links in the description below and I'll

keep them updated so you can get the best deal possible.

Sony speakers routinely go on sale so you might get lucky.

The Sony XB60 uses the same materials as the Sony XB7.

The majority of the body is made out of textured hard plastic and on the back theres some wood

paneling.

There are rubber pads on the bottom and on it side so you can stand the speaker up right

or lay it flat.

And there are handles on either side that really make transporting this speaker much

easier.

Just like all other Sony Extra Bass speakers the XB60 has a metal grill on the front, and

a built in light feature.

The XB60 has a hight of 21.73 inches a width of 10.39 inches and a depth of 10.71 inches

and weighs in at 17.64 pounds.

Or for my international peoples this speaker is .55 meters by .26 meters by .27 meters

respectively.

And it weighs 8 kilos.

And a good chunk of that weight is due to the rechargeable battery.

But for those wondering, NO this speaker is not water proof.

So don't get it wet.

Concerning speaker set up, the Sony XB60 has dual 50 millimeter or 2 inch tweeters in the

center… and dual 130 millimeter or 5 inch woofers.

You have a ring of full color LEDS, strobe lights on the top and bottom and there are

single color lights that illuminate the woofers themselves.

On the top of the speaker you'll see theres your power button, volume control buttons,

and thankfully they added a play/pause button.

And this is a big deal because on the Sony XB5 and XB7 there was no play/pause button

so if your phone or the included remote wasn't near by you couldn't control your music

playback.

And for those wondering… the XB60 does not have an included controller.

But honestly I don't care.

And you'll also find other buttons like the Function button to cycle between your

audio sources, and the Add and Party chain button.

You can also use the party chain button to turn off the light feature by pressing and

holding.

If you have two Sony XB60's you can pair them together and have them play in stereo

mode or if you have other XB speakers like the XB30, XB40, or the larger XB90 you can

pair up to 10 speakers together and have them all play in sync.

And thankfully Sony streamlined the pairing process on the XB60 and XB90.

All you have to do is press the Party chain button on each speaker and you're done.

Just like JBL Speakers.

A little further up you'll also see a slit where you can rest your phone or tablet and

a even more up you'll find an NFC touch point.

On the back of the speaker you'll find RCA ports so you can daisy chain more speakers

together, a USB port and a mic input.

But Sony did not include a 3.5 millimeter audio jack which is a bummer.

Through the USB port you can charge your own phone and play MP3, WMA, and WAV files on

most devices.

But you cant play music through the USB port when using Apple devices so you're stuck

with only a bluetooth connection.

But like I've said in the past, Sony does a really good job of having a really clear

wireless Audio Connection on both their speakers and headphones.

So personally I don't really need an Audio jack on the XB60 but I know for some certain

users it might be a must have.

Concerning Tech specs, the Sony XB60 is using bluetooth 4.2 and can be paired up to 3 devices

at the same time.

And you've got a wireless range of around 40 feet with direct line of sight.

And it also does a really good job of keeping a solid connection through multiple walls.

When it comes to battery life the Box says its good for 14 hours with an Asterisk.

You can get 14 hours of playback with the lights turned off and at a low volume.

But real world use with the light feature turned on and the speaker at a moderate volume

I've averaged about 7 hours.

But when the volume is at max and with the light on I've averaged 4 hours of playback.

So if you plan on taking this somewhere remember to pack the charging cable.

New to the XB60 and XB90 is stamina mode and basically what it does is that it reduces

the output of the speakers.

So there wont be as much bass, it wont get as loud, and the sound isn't as crisp.

but you'll be able to squeeze out about to more hours of playback time.

And thankfully Sony got rid of the please charge feature that was on the XB40 and XB30.

When the battery on the XB60 gets below 20% it'll simply say please charge and flash

a few times and thats it.

BUT It will no longer nag you to put it back on the charger or limit the volume like the

XB40 or the XB30.

And for those wondering, if you press and hold the stamina button the speaker will tell

you its current battery percentage.

Concerning sound quality, this speaker is all about bass and loudness.

At max volume this thing averages about 82 decibels.

But its also a very directional speaker, if you stand off to the side or behind it all

you're going to get is sub bass.

So placement is very important with this speaker.

For the most part, I like how this speaker sounds.

But I think theres still room for improvement concerning instrument separation and the highs.

It just sounds like everything is too close together and it hard to pick instruments apart

and the highs like to resonate a bit.

But this speaker has almost zero distortion at max volume which was a problem with the

XB7.

But through Sony's Music center app you can either select from a few pre made EQ's,

make your own or you can just use Sony's ClearAudio+ setting.

And what ClearAudio+ does is that it automatically adjust's the speakers settings depending

on what you're listening to.

There are also some DJ Effects but all those do is distort the sound so I never touch those.

Through Music center you can also adjust the light mode on the Sony XB60.

You can choose from Rave, Chill, a rave mode without the strobe lights, Hot where only

reds and oranges will flash, cool where only blues and greens will flash, theres strobe,

and there are a few calm options as well.

But I dont know whats going on with Sony's App development teams.

Sony's headphones App is solid… it works most the time, the UI is good enough and its

easy to toggle the settings of the 1000XM2's.

Sony's Music center app only works half the time, and from a UI standpoint it takes

to many steps to get the the EQ, or get to the light settings or even just check the

battery life.

I don't know why the app layout for the XB60 isn't like the 1000XM2.

And then theres fiestable which is just an eye sore but you can adjust the color of the

light feature on the XB60 after you've selected one of the previously mentioned light modes.

So if you want blue strobe lights fiestable can make it happen.

But regardless, Sony needs to step up their app game.

The biggest pet peeve I have with the Sony XB30 and XB40 is that when the battery on

either of those speakers get below 20% the speakers will abruptly lower the volume, repeatedly

say please charge and wont let the volume go above 20% so you have no other option than

to put the speaker back on the charger even though you still had 20% battery.

Thankfully the XB60 dosnt do that, but it still has a weird quirk.

Everytime you plug the XB60 to charge after you've used it even though the speaker is

off the speaker will go into demo mode and continuously cycle through the light modes.

So every time you plug it in to charge you have to wait a few seconds and then press

and hold the party chain button to turn off the light feature even though the speaker

is off to begin with.

Its just annoying, if I have the speaker off I want it completely off.

I don't know why Sony does things like this, its like they actively sabotage their own

products.

So whats the verdict on the Sony XB60, if you're all about bass and loudness then

for its size its pretty good.

But like I said the Highs and instrument separation could be better.

Its pretty versatile, if you want to take it with you on the go or hook it up to your

tv you can do either of those things.

Even though there is a built in battery, don't for get the power cord.

For a $350 portable blue tooth speaker the XB60 is all about sound and looks.

Its not as durable as lets say the JBL Extreme and it is teetering on the edge of "is this

thing too big to lug around" But its small enough that it will fit in most places and

the carrying handles make lugging this 18 pound brick easy enough.

Personally I think this speaker is perfect for campus life if you're in college.

And heres the sound test.

I'm going to cycle through some speakers of the same size.

As always the all of the speakers will be playing at the same decibel level streaming

from the same device and the same distance away from the same mic so hopefully the only

difference

is

sound quality.

Villagers review on our prototype digester - Duration: 7:50.

Hello friends as you can see we have arrived for the phase 2 in inchawala village

after a period of approximately one month when we have planted our biogas digester here

and you can clearly see that the digester has been aaaaa..(pause) digester has been filled completely by the biogas

and the villagers are also feeding it regularly with approximately aaaa with something 30 to 40 kg of aaaaa...(pause) cow dung

and as you can see the weather aaa..it is raining here so a road has been ruined and there is a lot of swamp water in the village.

Hello friends as you can see i am sitting with one of the villagers of inchawala and most the villagers has already been dispaced from the village

due to due to a raining season and fews are only left so we will aaa... talk with a one of the villager of inchawala.

So we have already seen that the project is working very well the flame was been litten and our filter, pressure drum and our biogas digester is working

very well and it is giving a blue flame without any smell of H2S.

So now i will talk with one of the villagers to see how they liked our project and how they see this project in the future.

So i am here with one the a vill (voice break) villager of the inchawala and now we will ask him that how does he like our project?

So what you think of our project?

We felt good, pretty good like the way you've made bio digester for us here, gas is available, stove is also working,so we are liking all of it.

So how much dung and water together you put in a digeter in one day.

whenever we found it less we put one bucket or two bucket means 20 to 25 kg approximately.

20 to 25 kg of dung and water together you mean approximately? yes (nodding head in yes)

ok!

Try for some more beacuse pvc polythene was left with some space,so you can put some more unless polythne is filled with gas eniterly.

ok ok

ok

Is there was something any instruments aaaa..(pause),of all the instruments we have installed, either worked in parts, either it was our digester, floating drum, bubbler

we taught you all how to make it,do you face any difficulty in any instruments?

No we didnt face any problem yet, everything you told and taught we remebered it quite clearly,we can also operate it quite efficiently.

Ok well! what problem you have face in this project till now?

problem in this..

Wt problem?

problem is that when the stove is litten up flame in that stove is light right now,it is not forming full that we can make vegetable, flame is not of that kind right now

So you want to say that you are facing some kind of difficulty with the pressure in this

Yes there is a problem of pressure,So we wil make our full effort,to clear that problem.

yes

but in few days you people will go

yes yes

So we will make our full efforts to come here as soon as possible,Because road here is already ruined.

yes it is ruined

so we will try to clear pressure problem.ok..

ok...well economically means (money wise) how you like project.

seeing this scenario we like,as there is no power supply or any source of energy,we found it much cheaper.

you found it much cheaper.

yes

Its a good thing, how you see our project in the future??

means???

Yes means what are your hope from this?

What we hope from this is,if it works well than we do not have to use wood, kerosene etc,if it works well we will be very happy.

So you mean to say there is a pressure problem, otherwise evrything is all right.

Yes gas etc is working very well, just we need little more pressure in the flame,so tea and vegetaebles can be made more effciently.

ok

And if you want to make it again in the future will you face any problem in making it?

No..

We have already taught you how to make it.

yes,we remember everthing correctly.

So you also tell other villagers how to make it.

yes

so we want that every villager could have biogas for cooking.

now we came to village to teach you two things..First of all in case if flood water comes to the digester you can empty the digeter

and can discoonect all the instruments including pipe, drums and can install it again.

yes

So can you discoonect the parts of the bio-plant??

yes,we can disconnect and cannect it again very nicely.

ok...

Second thing we came here to teach you was that, you had used cow dung first, how much time does it take to form gas from cow dung?

After filling it with cow dung, approximately after 14 to 15 days gas has

started being formed in the digester (both speak together)

ok...

After 14 to 15 days gas that formed, contains innoculum in the cow dung mixture.

Think innocolum as a something which makes the reaction faster,so before running any bio-gas plant cow dung is first fed into it.

So it was your biogas plant, now what you can do is food which is left can also used by mixing it with cow dung.

so amount of gas you have, suppose x amount of gas is forming so after using it gas will form quickly and it will form in 3x amount and more.

ok ok....

in comaparison to gobar.

Because concept is such that content of methane in gobar is approximately 4 percent and in vegetable it is approximately 24 to 30 percent.

ok..ok..

ok..

so for now you try with vegetable waste,if gas is formed with vegetable waste than we will tell you to use bagasse (villager nodding yes yes) it will also form gas

Yes!

yes

So gas formed will be very good, and you are facing only one problem that we will sort out.

How does women of these villages liked our project?

They also liked it very much, means when they saw stove is litten up with gas, they also thought from now on they do not need wood or kersosene etc.

stove is in home now, cows and buffuloes are present so dung can be used and stove can be liiten up,so they also liked it very much.

ok....

yes..

hello friends i have talked to Mr.Shahid one of the villager of inchawla and we finally came to know that villager are quiyte happy with our project and they see a good future in the biogas model

(villager coughing) that we have made, but the problem they are facing is that they have to regulate the pressure by themselves,it is creating a problem for them,so in a future we will see that how

we can tackel the pressure,so these villager can use th gas properly and in an adequate amount

We have told them aaaa(pause) target for phase the phase 2 that they can work with the vegetables with cow dung etc and how to purge out the plant.

One thing they had (voice break) hadnt done in the project that they hadnt used the manure.so that particular thing also we have also them that they can use the manure either for the selling o

or they can use the manure for thier own lands.

New SNES Super Nintendo Classic Unboxing Review Gameplay of 21 Games - Duration: 19:12.

Wow guys I am super excited today I've waited in line this morning to get this

new mini Super Nintendo classic edition whoa this has a bunch of games and it is

here is a list of all the games that are on here and picture from the back of the

New SNES Super Nintendo Classic Unboxing Review Gameplay of 21 Games

I'm gonna try to go through each one of these videos at least two minutes into

each one of these games so without further ado let's check it out guys odd

Super Nintendo was one of my favorite systems I mean I love Nintendo and Super

Nintendo so I grew up with these systems and they are awesome so first things

first comes with this cool little looks like a

poster yeah poster of the games that are in the system label but this is the main

thing a little tiny Super Nintendo look at this it's about the size of the palm

of my hand got the reset and the power on/off button right here it does have an

eject button but the cartridge and everything is just for so nothing opens

up here it's got room for the two controllers in the front there look at

the back here in the back you've got the mini ah oh that's the power and HDMI

hookup so you could hook this up to like any TV or monitor it has HDMI hookup and

then let's go ahead and check out these controllers ha ha ha

I have not seen one of these in so long Wow

I am super impressed guys and uh I believe they come with a 6 foot cord

well I also did buy an extension pack here which I will show you in one minute

which adds another 6 books so you've got twelve anyways go ahead and see the lens

yes the court is about six feet and it does come with two of the controllers so

that's real cool it comes with HDMI yeah

HDMI cables yeah this is the power cable it's like a USB end and the mini USB

with the adapter here and then this is the HDMI cable here so anyways I'm gonna

go ahead Oh actually before I do you do want to get yourself either wireless

joysticks or you want to get yourself an extension the six foot is just too close

to the screen so ah I went ahead and bought two back extension cable

so now I've done 12 feet so guys I've got six kids and they are gonna be super

excited playing this awesome Super Nintendo game let me get this set up and

we will check out the game okay guys set up is super easy just go ahead and plug

in the HDMI cable go ahead and plug in the power turn it on you are ready to go

this is the main screen I'm gonna run you through a couple minutes on each one

of these games so stop further ado we're gonna start with

I mean this brings back some really good memories guys and now you can see my

shadow the show well I'll have Yoshi here soon

there is good old youichi and then with you she just fun right off of him

well I gotta get used to these old controls and then he will eat stuff in

his path could have an eat Turtles full flames

my kids are gonna have a blast with this oh I remember this guy

yo cheatin oh there's you she awesome he came back ok guys if you wanna go ahead

continue to another game simply there's a reset button on the console if you

push Castlevania 4 cool the Castlevania games are hard

hard but fun okay give me an enemy so I could show you guys something

especially guys that haven't played before Oh looks like this day is closing

I'm gonna be crushed okay there's a skeleton let's go

okay so that's a good idea for that one and then ghouls and ghosts cool I'm

telling you me and they really picked some sweet games for this one

okay anyways

Super Mario Kart some really awesome plastics guys

talk about old-school

okay there's not anybody to move it on let's think of that one

Mario RPG why I love this little system guys so many cool games I mean my kids

are going to love it like I said before the RPG I can't really go into too much

detail you know I don't even know if I've played this RPG ball and I know I

played one of the Mario RPG ones I'm not sure if this was one of them

so anyways like I said RPG it's like you have to pretty much play it because it

takes forever okay so anyways let's go back I think it'll bring you to the main

screen where you could go ahead and pick up Metroid Wow well here's the intro of

Metroid sorry the intro is taking way too long

next one which would be super put

yeah yeah yeah I got it okay next is Zelda okay just move on

next you have Yoshi's Island Wow

this one is a classic guys but kids are gonna love these by the way guys if you

do like this video I do got over a thousand videos majority our dinosaur

Jurassic world Jurassic Park Godzilla King Kong sarted come on no I don't

think not if I played Yoshi's Island tell you the truth I don't think I did

because this is not familiar okay no I did not play this awesome well anyways

that gives you a good idea yeah you could probably tell I haven't played

this one

like holding B down you can hover in the air okay that's one of these okay yeah

okay I might anyways that's a good start to that one and then moving on Cooper

gets up up down down left right left right B a select start for two-player

anyways me and my brothers played the first contra so many times so let's like

I'm almost dead

Wow it's been a while that brings back some good memory Donkey Kong Country

yeah don't look eco okay so anyways let's get start tell you the truth I

don't need love I play Donkey Kong Country tell me I did not play this game

wow I don't know how I missed it so it was awesome

okay why anyways we have to continue on so next we have earthbound classic man

I mean the graphics this one's not that great but the graphics and these are

actually much better than if you played the original games especially went

through the HDMI cord and the sound is also better so and then next we have

final finish especially the old the older type skip it I guess not

okay well I mean I'm sure most of you guys have played Final Fantasy so and

then we've got Kurt another game I did not play is like okay there we go

Stage one come on okay so that's enough cutesy for now moving on okay then you

got Kirby's dream so anyways played Kirby before so I really don't know what

I'm doing so we will continue on megamix don't know how many of you guys have

played megaman probably most of you things are gonna be new to my kids and

I'll tell you they're gonna love them they are going to love these games

so anyways there's a good idea of Megaman that's a good way to die okay

that we oh wait I might have played this okay so

here is the game actually started so

okay so I'm moving on RPGs it's hard to get a good which was finished but never

the first starfox so I'm not really sure so anyways that's what the first one

looks like let's check out the second one starfox to clear stage one and

starfox to unlock oh sorry guys I can't unlock it but I does have it so this

Street Fighter 2 cool I like this dream fighter

okay turbo gamestar okay so anyways moving on

to the next one think we've gone through yep we've gone through all the games so

Heroes For A Day Review: Dark Horse: Game of Thrones Ned Stark (English Subs) - Duration: 5:20.

Greetings, friends and collectors!

It's Argyris in another Heroes For A Day video!

This time -it's been actually quite some time!- we have Ned Stark form Game of Thrones!

The patriarch, one of the fan-favorite characters,

god rest him or R'hllor rest him or The Seven rest him, whatever suits you.

He left us early on, yet his presence was deeply felt

with his role in the first season, as well as his death.

Well, we should have seen it coming. It was Sean Bean.

There wouldn't be another outcome.

He was meant to die! It was just there!

Let's take a look at the box and we'll take him out in a moment.

Nice packaging. It's by Dark Horse.

Like all the nice static figures.

I already own Jon Snow and Sansa, two of the four remaining siblings.

Let's have a look at their daddy.

Right now!

This is Ned outside the box.

A nice looking figure. Nice sculpt as always.

This is the fur cloak that northerners wear.

They have done a good job with the topknot-like hair.

Jon Snow now stylizes his the same way.

His attire is the classic House Stark wear, in green and brown.

The base is supposed to be rocky or something like that.

The cold, inhospitable northern soil.

His cloak is thick to protect from the cold.

And of course, he wields his awesome greatsword, Ice.

This huge sword made of Valyrian steel,

with which he chopped the heads of those who didn't behave,

until he got his own chopped off.

And I would rather make Ice a pile of metal filings,

I'd rather make it a drain pipe for the Iron Throne,

than have it end up in that SoB brat Joffrey Baratheon's hands.

Whatever…

That was its fate.

Everything looks nice.

The only issue is here; the sword.

It was too long so it curbs.

You see, it leans backwards, but it's the only way I could place it.

It isn't placed properly, because it finds resistance on the base.

I may fix it sometime soon.

Overall, a really nice figure.

As I've said before, it doesn't look like Sean Bean that much,

yet it depicts the character beautifully.

So, another video review has come to an end.

I hope you liked this figure as well.

See you next time!

The Heroic Continues!

Cheapest Camera Dolly for 25£?? Koolertron Camera Dolly Unboxing, Review and Test! - Duration: 2:19.

Hello there guys!

It's CoolFox over here and today, I'm bringing you an unboxing and review of the Koolertron

Camera Dolly.

Before we begin, I would really appreciate it if you can subscribe as we are trying to

hit 500 subscribers by the end of the year.

Starting with the unboxing, you get the stick on top, the ball head on the side and the

dolly underneath.

The stick is just like a selfie stick and you have a screw that you can move by twisting

the knob.

To change the tilt, you have to twist the other knob which is located on the side.

It has a very nice comfortable grip and a little lanyard which you can use to tie it

around your hand.

Opening the ball head box, all you find is the ball head itself.

it is made out of a nice metal material and you can twist it via the knob on the side.

It does have a cork like material on the top which helps reduce scratches.

The dolly itself is also fully made out of metal and the wheels are very nice and smooth

to turn.

You can also change the tilt by twisting the given screw and tightening it back.

To hook up the ball head to the tripod or any other head for that matter, you have to

put in the included thread and twist the circular screw at the bottom.

Once that is done, you have the ball head in place.

Keep in mind that the camera would first be attached before screwing in the head.

To screw in the stick, you have to twist the side knob into one of the 2 holes next to

where the head fits.

Then it should be tightened securely on there.

The stick does extend quite a bit and you also have a screw at the end in case you need

it.

Something that I did encounter which was quite disappointing was that the head kept falling

with the weight of the DSLR.

I have a Nikon D5300 and it is considered as a pretty small lightweight camera.

Another thing that I encountered was that he ball head kept becoming loose with the

screw inside the dolly which is also a bit of a shame.

These are some test shots and as you can tell, the smoother the surface the better the shot.

I hope you enjoyed this video guys, If you did, please leave a like and subscribe for

more content.

This was CoolFox and I'm out, Peace!

SNES Classic Edition Unboxing! Gameplay Features & Quick Review (2017) HD - Duration: 6:08.

What's up people's YouTube, I just got home from the store, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on a classic Super

Nintendo Entertainment System

So I'm doing an unboxing for everyone at home

Looking at the box. It is very reminiscent of the original box introduced in the 90s

With this street art as well as box art

however

The box is about half the size, and it includes 20 games

It's like as well as two controllers when the games included are contravening mean

Where is Donkey Kong Country earthbound Final Fantasy 3 f-zero?

kirby's dream course kirby superstar Mega Man x2 from Anna's starfox Street Fighter 2 turbo microphone super Castlevania 4 super doneö super motorcar super mario

RPG lighting this time start super mario world super metroid super punch-out legend zelda only gonna. Ask you to the island

Sorry for the annoying high-pitched voice. I can't talk about fast

Let's see what's inside this bad boy, though?

And also I don't know if anybody caught but on the phone there says now you're playing with super power

plastic nineties advertising for Nintendo

The manual got the power brick a

Controller, which looks and buttons feel very similar to the original

So must be the console which I can already tell is a lot smaller than the original

Yep just like in the box I can put it in my hand woah

Alright, and there are the controller ports

As wise it's got HDMI, which HDMI cable should be included and a power block

I've got a temporary set up on my xbox one for scale and it's sitting there looking pretty alright. Let's get this thing booted up

And it looks like all the games are through this front menu interface available

Like for almost all of them has the original box art, which is very cool. There's one player two player

All right, and there's pretty good list of games never played earthbound personally, I'm excited to play that

Check those out later

Manuals built into the system as well as some display settings nice CRT filter

That's what we need here in 2017

Make our new TVs feel old

That's awesome

It looks like you know so choose for outer screen frame

Suite speakers go on my CRT filter

And let's start this up right and play with

first one

Game that I remember us playing forever and for always

Super Mario World

aha, yeah I

Think sometimes I would sit there and watch that game play just the intro

Oh, then it frees the DeFries

Come on Oh

There we go, okay

Let's get this started oh

Yeah control. Oh yeah, it feels just like they used to awesome I

Think today. I'm a little buzzed either would get a minute's use considering. It's been

15 20 years that quick to get lost

But now this feels great

Well I was like heat up from so far playing this game it is

Very annoying I believe it's playing at 720p at 60 frames a second

Which is pretty good?

Let's see how he's kind of hard to see in the video, but it definitely adds a cool effect

Yeah forget you

Yep catchy too

30 stars

Well that's my unboxing and my quick review, I definitely give this two thumbs up

Recommend it almost anyone might like this. It's great nostalgia for somebody growing up with the system or

Somebody that is gaming new generation or something new to games

Let me know what you guys think in the comments below. Don't forget to Like and subscribe. Thanks for watching peace

Arcade Review № 3.04: FEZ! (subtitles) - Duration: 8:04.

Arcade Review Season 3

The world, it is huge and beautiful.

So look around, and there is everything,

we just have not enough time to pay attention to it,

and maybe the whole world

hides another dimension from people's eyes?

That's Gomez - the hero of the game called FEZ

once found out that his world is

actually much more complicated than he thought,

and I, Terol, will tell you about these difficulties

in today's release of the Arcade Review!

But I begin with thank once again to Nikita Kudukhov,

to be honest, I'm not even sure

that he is still watching my reviews

and generally will hear it,

however he gave me a FEZ Steam-gift,

otherwise there would not be any review on it.

And maybe it would not have to be at all,

because as of this season I am already

or else will complain about a huge number of games,

and, alas, I will also complain to FEZ.

FEZ is very popular among fans of indie games,

like Meat Boy, for example,

and this is quite understandable.

Not only that, it is

a very bright representative of independent development

and skillfully disguises himself as a nostalgic hand-crafted game

for the games of eight and sixteen-bit consoles,

and so its long development,

like the developer named Phil Fish,

generated and, accordingly, generates too much noise around him,

mostly scandalous subjects.

But the review is still about the game.

And I'll start it, probably with a general introduction,

and then I'll explain

why I originally treated it prejudiced

and why my bias did not fail me.

So, as I mentioned in passing,

the plot of the game tells us about Gomez,

a two-dimensional creature who lives happily

in his two-dimensional world, until one day

the elder of the village calls him.

He shows the hero an unusual artifact - a Hypercube,

a kind of three-dimensional deity

that gives Gomez a hat - a fez.

After that - Hypercube for some reason explodes,

breaking up into 64 pieces of gold,

which the protagonist has to assemble in a single whole.

By the way, after the explosion there are stylish fake lags,

because of which it is not a sin to panic about the failure of your video card!

Fez, in whose honor the game is named -

is a magical artifact that allows you to look at the world,

literally, from four sides...

Gomez must find all the golden pieces of the Hypercube

until emptiness has swallowed the world.

Our сompanion in travel is a four-dimensional cube,

emerging from nowhere and paying attention

to especially important moments.

He also gives basic clues and describes items,

which we sometimes find during the journey.

It begins with a pleasant first level - the Gomez's village,

in which no one understands what happened,

and only then develops in its own way,

because the world, in fact, is open,

and the players will certainly diverge in different directions.

The game map is huge!

Here is an example of its almost complete version.

Because of it's unusual device, as Russians says,

without a hundred grams, you will not understand it.

More than a hundred different zones,

which branch like the crown of a tree,

creating new locations and secret caches.

And in fact the best aspect of the game is

in a lot of amazing worlds

that you want to look deeply.

Pixel graphics here, strangely enough,

only emphasizes the beauty of the world,

in which live the sweetest flat toads and salamanders,

pixel waterfalls are pouring, and the houses are quietly hanging

right above the earth, in the middle of emptiness,

against the background of constellations in the form of figures from "Tetris".

There are no enemies here - the whole game is about adventures and researches.

It is all the more pleasant that FEZ has

a change of day and night, as well as weather effects.

By the way, you cannot die here either,

because after stumbling, Gomez will certainly return to the point.

All these little worlds, divided into several separate levels,

are full of various kinds of puzzles

in most of the Gomez-based abilities to turn the world,

and thus see new ways in the opened perspective,

in fact - large spiral staircases.

In addition, some of the tasks use acrobatics,

some - physics, others - logic.

The most complex require the involvement of our reality

and additional technology, for example, I know for sure that

in one place you will need to scan the QR-code,

this is something for modern phones,

how do I know if I have only Nokia 1110?

Well, or does it simply mean already familiar way

to get on the Internet for a hint.

It is something like asynchronous multiplayer.

And someone said that in New Game + is available even more sophisticated jigsaw puzzles.

For example, the deciphering of texts, or the selection of numerical combinations,

some mechanics with the vibration of the gamepad and even the devil knows what.

It looks like the developers decided to show everything they can,

so that each player can find a job for himself.

So what's wrong with me?

Do not I find anything for myself?

Yes, I found - "a climber's simulator."

No, seriously, all the levels I've been on are

based on the fact that Gomez appears downstairs

and you have to climb to the top with a chest,

portal or a whole piece of Hypercube,

just like EVERYTHING is arranged.

At first you do not notice this,

especially if you get into bright worlds, where music,

and it is very good music in the game,

creates a fabulous atmosphere.

But when you are already preconceived,

you do not have enough for a long time.

And I say this is what -

for me, the game world here was

with originally broken logic.

There is no question of three-dimensionality -

these are four two-dimensional worlds.

On this small feature, the whole level design is tied.

But If Gomez loses platform when turning the world,

he falls!

Then why does not he fall when he is left behind?

Because he is not!

And there is no platform either!

He should falls, but it is not happen...

In addition, sometimes he himself passes through the texture,

and I cannot understand this logic to the end.

It's certainly cool, finding a way,

turning the world in another direction,

but all this is damn inconvenient and often is far from logical,

therefore as a platformer, FEZis also quite bad.

But I must admit,

there is something to be carried away for many and many hours.

At the first start the game looks like

like you want to see everything,

find all the hiding places and collect all the secrets.

Just as Rayman looks to me,

but only here is the tempo so lulling

that after a couple of hours you just do not understand

why you're playing it.

How many people end FEZ completely?

I'm even afraid to assume.

Arcade Review Score

Perhaps the only conclusion

to which Fez is diligently failing is

that the world around us

may be much more than we are used to thinking about it.

You just need to find the right angle of view.

Thank you, for watching!

All music and used materials are listed in the description!

Airsofters apoyan a Victimas del temblor #FuerzaMexico & Review i-Force de Pyramex - Duration: 9:40.

Hey tactical youtubers! How you doing? Welcome to 350 FPS your Airsoft show

Today, I'm testing the protection goggles i-Force made by Pyramex. The same that Novritsch uses

I'm eager to test them, these are smaller than

the ones that I normally use. They have double lenses so I'm expecting minimum fogging

Anyway, let's jump right into it.

Reminder: Suscribe, if you are already suscribed, hit the bell button

to get a notification as soon as I upload something for you

Remember that this channel is not only about Airsoft

Though certainly it what you will find the most

as it what I have most produced int these last three years

but there are other sections too

350 FPS is the Airsoft Vlog

There is also Night Time Raid the Live Show were we

can chat and get a nice cup of joe

Couch Op8 is the most recent section, I'm taking my first steps into gaming

but I do try to keep it somehow related to Airsoft

it is still work in progress, for those that were

present in the last edition of Night Time raid, I told them a bit

of what I'm aiming for but I want to hear about you, check the videos and

let me know in the comment section below, do take a look at the last chapter

I'm taking a page right out of Epic Meal Time Book, as I really like that show

But it's been a while since I last visit their Channel

I just love their style

but I have to make sure it works for me. Finally the last section

is my catch all, that's where I put everything related to hiking, camping, some ERT stuff,

and other stuff that I like

Today is Airsoft Sunday, so

Catch me at the gamefield!

Today is all about supporting the people affected by

the Earthquakes ocurred during the last week

All Airsofters from Guadalajara are here

Let's gear up!

Creating a Community around Airsoft, makes us stronger

It doesn't matter if you live in CDMX, Chihuahua or Jalisco

We all are Airsofters, let us make this Community to be seen

These past few days have been very hard to the people in our country

Natural disasters have hit us hard.

To tell the truth

I'm touch by how other countries have come to help.

I couldn't expect less from the mexican people

As we are always there, ready to help when people are in need

but there are so many countries lending us a hand

Thank you all, from deep in my heart, thank you.

I didn't want to make this vlog without mentioning Earthquakes

This is something that will be remembered for years to come

Pretty much as the 1985 earthquake marked the people who lived it

History will repeat for the people in CDMX and the rest of the states affected

by the Earthquake on the 19th

Cheer up! I know it looks grim

but you can stand up and continue

I can't find the right words to express what I feel

I'm aware that whatever I say can't comfort you right now,

as I speak behind a YouTube screen but I really mean it

Cheer up!! We stand right

by your side.

Fuerza Mexico

Game on ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 Game on!!!!!

Climb up there, I'll provide cover

They got our flank, they got our flank

Such a great Airsoft Sunday, I'm so happy

to see so many people from Guadalajara, people that I haven't seen in years. By the way

A big hug to Zetina from Toloks Airsoft team, thanks for watching the program

Also, thanks to everybody that came down here today to support all the Earthquake affected people

Let's grow as persons and as a Community!

Let's wrap up. These goggles are a great purchase

Foggin kept to a minimum, around here.

You can use your sights and you don't feel them

They don't interfere with your field of vision

These model is the lowest priced, there are other

tinted lenses but they cost about three times

as much, I may get one of them in the near future

but my point is that these are money well spent

you can use your sights, they provide good protection

you can either use the elastic band or

these things

Mi personal preference is to use the elastic band

but you choose what you want as long as you are protected

Remember: Safety is

non negotiable

That's it for today

Thanks for being here all this time

thanks for your comments, your suscriptions, let me remind you to

hit that bell button but above all...

Thanks for being here :) And as always...

Catch me at the game field!
