Simple Cashew Coleslaw : Plant-based Recipe : Simple Green Meals - Duration: 4:58.
Hi there, I'm Jen from simple green smoothies
and today I want to make a recipe with you that's called Simple Cashew Coleslaw and this is a
Plant-based side dish that is from our book,
Simple Green Meals that comes out September 11th.
In this recipe you are going to need to start with some soaked cashews. So we're doing 1 cup of soaked cashews.
Which you need to rinse before you add to your blender or food processor,
whatever you're using.
Alright next we're going to crush three cloves of garlic and peel them
This recipe has three cloves in it.
If you don't love garlic as much as I do
you might want to do two or if you really really really love garlic you could probably put four cloves in.
We're going to juice two lemons, which will give us about three to four tablespoons of lemon juice.
And in this recipe, we only need three tablespoons.
When I juice my lemons, I like to do it in a mesh strainer like this where it catches all the lemon seeds.
So I don't have to pick them out of the juice afterwards.
The last thing we're going to add is dijon mustard.
All right now we're going to cover the blender and turn it on.
I'm using my compact blender so that it's easier for everything to blend up.
You could also use a food processor, but it's not going to get it as creamy and a great texture, but it would work too.
If it gets stuck like this just add a little bit of water and then that will get it blending again.
You can also push down the sides and that will help activate the blade.
Now we are gonna take the cashew cream.
We need about half a cup for this recipe. So I'm going to pour it into a little bowl.
So I combined the rest of the ingredients.
All right now we're gonna do some coconut sugar.
Apple cider vinegar. If you do not have apple cider vinegar. That's okay. You can also use
White distilled vinegar or lemon juice too. And the last thing is a pinch of salt.
Mix it together.
For the coleslaw we are gonna use napa cabbage and also to add a little bit of color we also have purple cabbage, too.
With the cabbage you're going to want to chop it finely almost like you're shredding it with your knife.
And if some pieces are thicker you can come back there and chop it again, which is what I'm gonna do.
Because I like it super tiny bite-size pieces.
So it doesn't make them mess when you're taking a bite of something and you have lettuce hanging out of your mouth
or cabbage hanging out of your mouth.
Now we're going to add it to our bowl.
And add in it the purple cabbage as well.
And a little bit of carrots.
Then we're going to add that delicious sauce that we made on top and mix it in,
to give you this creamy coleslaw that also has protein in it thanks to the cashews.
Alright there we have it this is our Simple Cashew Coleslaw that tastes delicious and is so good for you.

5 SIMPLE DIY PHONE CASE IDEAS FROM THERMOMOSOIC - Duration: 3:55.
Hi friends, this is Anna Chi with you and today I'm gonna show you how to make some really cool cellphone cases. I've got so many different and colorful beads with the help of which we gonna decorate the cheap covers.
You can grab the silicone ones or the plastic ones. As per size of the outer side of the case, let's lay out a smiley face on a blue background, which winks and shows its tongue.
Now we'll cover it from the top with another base and turn it over to iron the beads on the opposite side.
So firstly, we cover it with a parchment paper and then lightly iron it.
Further I decided to make a picture on the phone case in a Minecraft style. The bright beads were laid out in the form of dynamite with the TNT inscription and I also made a rainbow with the transition of color from light blue to bright red. In total 17 different shades of beads were used here.
Well, for the next phone case we'll lay out the picture from the Pacman game. There it gonna be the yellow Pacman itself and a blue ghost on a dark background.
And I made the last picture for the phone case in the form of a green sneaker on a transparent background.
After we lay out and ironed the pictures we need to carefully glue them using hot melt glue on both sides of the case and it's ready!
The phone cases from thermo-mosaic turned out really bright and nice - a positive smiley, a TNT and a Pacman game, a rainbow and a sneaker.
I made these phone cases on different themes so that each of you liked something.
Well, you can make such cases as I showed or completely different ones. It all depends on your imagination and what you love more.

the relationships are not worth anything,
unless I follow-up with them
and then they'll nurture the relationship.
- You gotta nurture it.
- It makes it hard.
Why is follow-up so hard for so many agents?
- I think people are afraid of rejection.
I think that's it. - What do you mean by that?
- You don't want to get told no so many times.
- So you're saying I'm generating a lead, I get a lead,
I'm afraid to get on the phone because they'll tell me,
"Get lost, who are you?"
- Yeah, then you're afraid of rejection.
I mean, the fear is real, right?
Like the fear of rejection is real, but what people
don't realize is that when you get that Facebook lead,
timing and distractions are the only two things
that's causing that person to say,
you know, "I'm not available, no,"
and you gotta wait until the timing is right.
The only way you can do that, to time it right,
is to be consistently following up with them
for when they're ready, you're gonna be there.
- So we know agents drop the ball.
We all are guilty, guys.
Let's just admit it, that's the reality.
Fear of rejection is number one
reason people don't follow up.
What would be your three best tips, great advice,
to get people to follow up more,
turn more people into clients, into listings?
- Number one, don't procrastinate.

How To Keep Your Cats Teeth Clean: 6 simple strategies - Duration: 12:50.
oral health is vital for good body health and if you've ever wondered how
to keep your cat's teeth clean I've got the answers coming up Hi, I'm Dr Alex
the veterinarian behind ourpetshealth.com and welcome to episode 1 of
the Dr. Alex Answers show where I answer all of your dog and cat health related
questions right I'm going to start with the question from Bridget and Bridget
has been a regular contributor to the our pets health community and really
happy to have her on board and she replied to my email asking this question
so she asked I would want you to cover how to keep your cat's teeth healthy I
know you can brush them but it's not always easy
is there anything to help clean the teeth like a dog can have a raw bone
which does a brilliant job but what can you give cats some medications can cause
yellowing of the teeth can this beat them right ok so that's a great question
and I'm a real big believer that healthy oral cavities healthy teeth and gums is
really important if we're going to optimize the health of not just like
house but also our dogs so brushing isn't easy but I should say
at this stage the brushing is absolutely the best thing that we can be doing it
is though the most labor-intensive and it is the hardest thing that we can do
there are many strategies that we can use to start brushing on cat's teeth
ideally would be doing that at young age as a kitten so we'd be introducing a
flavored toothpaste or chicken a mom flavored toothpaste we'd be using that
as a treat having our Catholic it's off our finger once they accept that we can
then use our finger just to kind of gently manipulate their mouth to get
them used to that sensation we can then wrap something like a little bit of
gauze or a flannel around our finger and put the toothpaste on that and use that
to rub their teeth and then finally we can introduce a toothbrush but you know
it does take a lot of time it does take a lot of effort not all cats are going
to accept that and you know we really need to be doing it a minimum of three
times a week to give it the value that it then it kind of needs to happen so if
we're going to be doing it less than that
we're probably not going to be getting the maximum benefit while cats also
won't be getting used to it as part of their daily routine and it will become
more and more of a battle now full disclosure I don't brush my cat's teeth
I've got a lot on my plate or two young children and that's just something that
I know that I wouldn't be able to do regularly and so it's not something
that's done with them now that's not to say I don't believe in it just
realistically I know it's hard work and it's really not for for every situation
and for every cat either okay so the next thing that we can use to keep our
cat's teeth clean is specific dental diets so there are a number of diets out
there that are supposedly better for teeth but there are a number that have
actually been designed specifically to help maintain good oral hygiene now
these diets and a link in the description to a few of them they have
bigger sized kibble so that encourages our cats to chew them so a lot of the
time with with different kibbles that our cats will be swallowing them or they
won't be chewing them properly but these bigger size biscuits that encourage them
to be chewed they've also got a very sticky and abrasive matrix so that means
that the tooth actually sinks into the biscuit rather than the biscuit just
shattering into lots of different pieces I'm so the tooth sinks in and the
abrasive kind of texture of course is the tooth surface to be to be wiped
clean and they're going to have the plaque and tartar removed now certainly
in my experience it does do a good job it's not the be-all and end-all and it
won't completely prevent cast teeth developing klarka tartar and developing
dental health issues but it definitely does a very much better job than normal
dier so that's certainly something to consider now they are complete diets
meaning that they can be fed as the only thing that you feed your cat but another
way to use them would be also use a handful every day as treat so you also
don't soak them or mix them in with the wet food because that's going to
compromise kind of their their texture and their ability to clean your teeth
but we could maybe use them as a treat or just use a handful at bedtime or
something like that so that's another way to use these dental diets okay so
the third thing that we can do is we can use dental choose or
toys now this is something that can work very well in dogs especially so there
are things like dentists ticks or veggie den there's various different shoes that
are designed to be been ordered and as they get lost they they scrape the teeth
clean or there are also toys and in cats cases they can be filled either with
food or they can sometimes have catnip in them which encourages your cat to
play with them and noron them now if your cat is one who does spend time
chewing on the the dental treats or they do spend time playing with the the
dental toys then they you know they can definitely help and they can definitely
just scrape those teeth a little bit clean in my experience personally I find
that a lot of cats they don't do that so it might be something to try especially
if your cat does spend time chewing things but you know very often I find
that that's actually quite difficult to encourage cats to do so yeah I'd love
your thoughts if your cat really kind of goes to town on these and spends lots of
time chewing let me know what kind of toy what kind of treat it is in the
comments down below and really love to hear ok so the fourth thing that we can
use to keep cats teeth clean is we can use oral gels or water additives now
these are things in the case of oral gels there's something that you just
kind of dab into your cat's mouth on their teeth or gums ideally you rub it
in but you don't have to just popping it in there it's all that's needed or in
the case of water additives you actually add that to the water and then when your
cat has a drink they obviously take that and that sloshes around their mouth so
we tend to recommend something called Mac cigar gel and that does seem to make
a difference in just slowing down the formation of Clark into tartar so it
reduces that tartar formation and what happens so what happens in normal dental
diseases you get a film of plaque forming on the teeth in a day or two
that then starts to develop into tartar and that's harder is what you see when
you see that kind of yellow brown deposits on the surface of your tooth
once that's there then that starts to cause problems with the gums it starts
to cause destruction of the bony sockets and that's when we get irreversible
dental disease so if we're stopping the formation of tartar then that's really
going to help and these chemicals will do them in a number
ways they will either help her clean her mouth or reduce the bacterial load or
they will actually also stop the chemical reaction of tartar formation so
they're certainly not that we all and end all ideally they wouldn't be the
only thing that they would use certainly the maxi garden world gel does seem to
to help it does make a little bit of a difference I think is important to take
that but these can be a very useful addition to any kind of dental hygiene
dental home care strategy as for the water additives again cats can be quite
fussy with what they drink and I've actually got another video all about how
to get your cat to drink more that discusses that very point but I do find
these water additive so they do add a little bit of a flavour so very often I
think I'll cast won't trigger them but again they can be something for you to
experiment with and see if it's appropriate for your cat okay so in
Bridget's question she she mentioned the fact that dogs will have bones and that
will help clean their teeth so what can we give cats well I think giving dog
dogs bones is maybe a topic for another day we certainly see a lot of problems
in the veterinary clinic with bone feeding so yeah that's not something I
want to go into now we can give our cast bone so we can give them things like
chicken wings that kind of thing so small poultry though their bones aren't
too dense they're not too hard as I can crunch them up they and and also the
kind of that meat that surrounds them in the sinew will help clean their teeth
now there are issues as well with raw feeding many people will feed raw and
they'll be very happy with it and we're all feeding is something that is a very
touchy subject and again not something that I want to go into today so while
it's not something that I'd recommend if you really want to feed something like
that to your cat than something like chicken wings would be something to
consider bear in mind that it's not without risk and again it's not
something that I would personally recommend it's certainly not something
that I give to my own castle okay the final reason or the final way to keep
your cast teeth clean is to have regular dental check-ups than oral checkups with
your vet so we think vaccinations consultations as giving
vaccinations or we think of routine healthcare and it's giving worming and
fleas and that kind of thing but actually a general check over the whole
body is very important and checking over the mouth is you know a real cornerstone
of that clinical exam so what this allows us to do it allows us to
intervene at an early age so when Clark and Todd went hard to starting to form
and we're starting to get a little bit of gingivitis we can then book our cats
in for a full dental scale and polish much like we would have it at our
dentist or hygienists so unfortunately we do need to anesthetize our patients
for that and that is a downside and that does come with a cost but ultimately
when a mouth is dirty when the teeth the dirty and there is some dental disease
present the best thing that we can do for our cat's teeth and for our cats
oral hygiene is to have a dental cleaning procedure ideally before their
significant disease that will necessitate the removal of teeth so
that's one reason but another thing to also mention is the fact that cats
specifically get a disease called all razorba t'v lesions and what that is is
that the tooth firm for one reason or other we don't quite understand and it
is something that we do see in our wild cat species is that the tooth
effectively the enamel on the outside becomes eroded and moth-eaten and that
leaves the sensitive dentine and the sensitive structures under there's
normally protected by that enamel that leaves them exposed and that is really
painful so if you are able to closely examine your cat's mouth what you'll see
is you'll see little pockets and little erosions in that enamel surface it will
often be a little bit kind of pinky gray and if you actually touch that the cat
will likely react quite badly because it really is painful so that could happen
in a clean mouth and a dirty mouth but it's another reason why regular health
checks and regular oral dental checks if a vet is very important so that's
definitely something that I would encourage as well okay and the last part
of Bridget's question was about antibiotics or medication causing
discoloring of the teeth so it's not really a problem that we see so much in
our pets definitely tetracycline so obviously
tetracycline doxycycline or to antibiotics club in the same category
that if given to very young animals where their teeth are still developing
then it will cause a kind of yellow in a yellow discoloration so we often won't
use those drugs in our young patients unless there is a real kind of a real
health risk but not giving them but that yellowing is it's kind of a permanent
discoloration from within the tooth it's not something that we can scrape clean
or we can change the color once that tooth forms so unfortunately if a tooth
is discolored because of some medication then that's not something that's
reversible equally it's not something that's generally very severe or affects
the function of that tooth so it's often a cosmetic issue rather than anything
more serious than that so yeah I wouldn't be overly worried about
possible okay so thanks for your question Bridget I hope that gave you a

In this short video, I'm going to quickly show you how the Noiiz Player and Noiiz Instruments work.

Download the Noiiz Player installer from the Noiiz website.
Open the download to install the player.
Fire up you DAW, in this case we're using Ableton, then load up the plugin on an Instrument or MIDI track.
Now, you'll need to choose an instrument to load within the Player.
Choose an instrument to download from the website, in this case we'll download the Marimba.
Simply drag-and-drop your instrument file onto the Player, or click to locate the file.
The Player will open your instrument after a few moments, ready for you to play.
When you've settled on an instrument, you have several parameters to help shape your sound and personalise it to your session.
Try tweaking the filter and amp envelope, to edit your instrument.
Click on the Space tab to access the Player's delay and reverb effects.
These can go from subtle short delays and small rooms, to cavernous ambiences and infinite repeats.
Any settings you edit inside the Player, will be saved with your session.
Now, you're ready to start creating your next masterpiece.
Try using different instruments together and changing the controls, to sculpt your sound.

HEALTHY DESSERT RECIPES! Easy & Simple Healthy Desserts! - Duration: 7:35.
hey everyone and welcome back to my channel and welcome to new video in
today's video I'm sharing with you some delicious healthy desserts that are easy
to make and they're just so decadent and yummy and so so good if you haven't

future videos from me and I'm actually including a bonus recipe in this video
that I'm gonna be sharing on my Instagram so if you head over there you
get another dessert and I'm gonna show you in the video but basically they're
like little turtle bites filled with caramel and pecans and chocolate and
they're delicious so head over there to get that recipe so
let's go ahead and get into the healthy desserts so the first thing we are
making are these almond butter swirl brownies they are so fudgy so I'm
starting off with some sweet potato and avocado and the sweet potato adds some
nice complex carbs and then the avocado adds some nice healthy fats which helps
to decrease your LDL or your bad cholesterol and increase your good
cholesterol so you blend those two together so we get something nice and
smooth we don't want any chunks in our brownies of either avocado or sea potato
so blend it until it's nice and smooth and then I'm adding in the cocoa or
cacao you can use either because we're cooking it you don't need to use raw
cacao but I only had raw cacao and it's full of regret antioxidants and it's
good at also regulating your blood pressure I'm adding in an egg as well as
the maple syrup which I find a lot of people don't know actually has a lot of
trace minerals in it and also antioxidants so just stir that together
until we get a nice even brownie batter it comes together really easily and I
wanted to use ingredients that I thought most of you guys had at home so no weird
flowers or anything like that so it's something really simple I'm adding in a
little bit of vanilla extract along with some baking soda stirring that in and
then I'm putting it into a 9-inch pan you can use a square one I just didn't
have a square one so I'm using a round one and then you're just going to spread
it evenly along the sides as you guys can see it's not a super thick batter so
it spreads nice and evenly and nice and we're gonna get a nice rich fudgy
brownie meat with good simple whole ingredients that are really great for
you next up I melted it down with some almond butter and I'm putting some
spoonfuls because this is a trick and to how to create that really nice swirl you
make spoonfuls like this and then you just take a knife and you run the knife
through these circles of your nut butter and you put it through the batter like
this so you kind of just keep going until you're happy with your swirl you
can do any kind of nut or seed butter here or you can totally leave it out but
I think this really elevates the brownies and makes them extra special
after you bake them at 350 for half an hour you have your wonderfully a fudgy
delicious swirl brownies these are going to be so good for a sweet treat but
they're loaded with such great healthy fats all right so once your brownies are
done and out of the oven they are gonna be wonderfully fudgy learn more of fudge
you Brown me than a cakey brownie but anyways let's go ahead and have a taste
so excited Oh hmm show them they're wonderfully fudgy without being too
sweet and I love the almond butter swirl on the top you could definitely do any
kind of nut or seed butter my hazelnut one would be good too it's so delicious
and fudgy it's the perfect treat I'm so happy with these turned out they're
definitely gonna be gone very sick all right guys next up or making it these
mint chocolate cups which if you're familiar with the eating evolved ones
they're kind of a spin on that so I'm taking some coconut butter I love
coconut butter because it's full of lauric acid which means it's going to be
really great for your immune system and it also helps to increase your
metabolism while that's melting down on our double boiler on the stove I'm
taking some cacao to make some nice raw paleo chocolate you guys have seen me
make this a bunch of times before but the ratios will be down in the
description box and like I've said raw cacao really great antioxidants for it
especially when it's raw a little bit of maple syrup for a touch of sweetness mix
that together and then I'm taking my silicone molds and a teaspoon
measurement and just putting a little bit on the bottom and kind of spreading
it so that it covers the whole bottom of silicone mold these were super
inexpensive form IKEA I think you got 12 for like a dollar ninety-nine they're
also on Amazon I suggest investing in silicon cups because I swear I use them
at least every week if not more they're really handy for making desserts
once your coconut butter is soft and melted I'm using a spoon to put about a
teaspoon into each of it and then you're going to be pressing that down so it
kind of sits in the middle of the chocolate and then with the leftover I'm
putting a little bit on the top as well and kind of swirling it once you leave
them in the freezer for about 15 minutes they will be done and you have these
wonderfully easy peppermint swirled coconut butter cups
that are super refreshing and make a great treat so once your cups are done
that they will look like this and you can just store them in the freezer
that's what I would do and then pull them out when you want them but let's go
ahead and have a taste oh they're so good and so refreshing because of the
mint if you've tried the eating evolved mint coconut butter cups these are very
similar to that they're the perfect little treat to have plus they have
healthy fats in them not too sweet just I'm in love with all these desserts guys
and lastly I'm showing you guys one of my favorite quick desserts that I make
all the time so I'm starting off with some coconut milk guys coconut milk is
so good it's full of nice healthy fats that help to support the digestive
lining in your gut and help to rebuild it and it also improves the insulin
response in your body so it's really good I would suggest getting the full
fat not the light don't be scared of full fat guys it's so so good for you
and you literally just take your beater and you beat it up until it's like a
whipped cream consistency it's super super easy I'm taking some fresh local
strawberries a heaping spoon a spoonful of that and some of the leftover paleo
chocolate I will leave ratios down below super easy dessert it's I just had her
right now it was delicious and now it was time for the taste test what I love
is that it's so easy to make this and you get like a little bit of decadence
but there's some fruit so let's have a taste
it's like a whipped cream chocolate and strawberry mm-hmm and he's just like
chocolate strawberries but the coconut whipped kind of gives it that whipped
cream feel but got healthy fats is gonna be satisfying
this has honestly been one of my go-to to healthy desserts for a long time now
so I'm really excited to share it with you guys I'm gonna dig in and have some
more so this is the bonus recipe it's kind of like a turtle bark filled with
caramel and pecans and chocolate so let's have a taste of this - mmm the
caramel is the perfect consistency it's not too hard but it like pulls away a
little bit of chocolate with the healthy nuts like pecans
you definitely want to head over and get the recipe for this because it's
something you can easily keep in the fridge and then just have a piece when

today I will share simple teej daar recipe
pulao is one of the teej daar recipe
so I will make pulao frist
I will make this in an electric pressure cooker
if you are making in normal pressure cooker, follow the same process
frist pressure the saute mode on pressure cooker
add three tbsp ghee
I have used homemade ghee
I shared the ghee recipe in a description box
add cloves,cardamom,cinnamon and bay leaf
add cashew nut and raisins
saute for 30 seconds
add three cups washed basmati rice
saute for 1 minute
add 2 cups of water
close the lid and press the pressure cook button
an set the time for 16 minutes
while pulao is cooking, i will prepare chicken too
add mustard oil in a pan
add cloves,cardamom,cinnamon and bay leaf
add onion and saute for 30 seconds
add ginger and garlic paste too
now I will add 1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp masala powder ans salt
cook masala for 1 minute
next add chicken
mix it well
cover and cook for 5 minutes
after 5 minutes mix it again
cover and cook for another 3 minutes
now chicken gravy is ready
add cilantro
next I will make choley masala
for this i have soaked chickpeas
next I have ginger, garlic and green chilies
and I also have tomato and onion
I will make the paste out of these ginger, garlic onion and tomato
paste is ready now
add oil on a pressure cooker
add 1 tsp cumin seeds
add whole spices
add 1 tsp turmeric powder too
add paste too
paste should cook well
add 1 tsp masala powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, 1/2 tsp chili powder and salt to taste
cook the masala till you see the oil from masala
I can see the oil in a masala now add the chick peas
mix it well
add 1 cup water
close the lid and wait until it give 5-6 whistles
pulao is ready and looks perfect
add green peas too
cover and leave it for a minute
pulao is ready to be served
now i will make potato pickle too
I have boiled potatoes
add sesame seeds powder
add lemon juice too
add salt and chili powder
add green peas
add mustard oil in a pan
add fenugreek seeds and turmeric powder
add jimbu too
jimbu enhance the taste of aloo' achaar
temper the achaar
add green chilies and cilantro too
mix it well
now potato spickle is ready too
choley masala is reday too
add cilantro
add dry fenugreek leaves
this is optional
I am making rice pudding too. I have shared the detail recipe in description box
now our teej daar is ready to be served
you can add any varieties you want
I have shared the recipe with easily available ingredients
