Today we will be reviewing this

Nataraj 621 HB Bonded Pencil

Nataraj 621 HB Bonded Pencil

This is a very famous brand from my childhood

I came across this in a supermarket in

Chennai. This red and black design

made me nostalgic. So I brought a pack

of 10 pencils.

These are the last two pencils remaining.

So let's get into the review

My son started with a box

which comes with a

sharpener, an eraser,

and a ruler

The quality of the pencils are not the same from

the first till the last.

My son had just wasted a couple of pencils

sharpening them. The lead did not hold very well.

The darkness of the pencil is also not too good.

He was advised to change the pencil

to a darker one

because the lead was

not too dark

It was not very legible.

So here is an example

where he has used this Natraj pencil

and he had to draw the lines

about 2-3 times

to make it really dark. To make it really

visible.

So, that was one biggest drawback.

drawback of the pencil.

In writting just one time

its not very clear

It has to be really sharp, otherwise

the words are not very legible.

So that's why he started sharpening it and

the lead didn't hold well and it was wasted a lot.

If you ask me what's the

replacement.

You can give them good dark pencils like Apsara Dark or DOMS

DOMS which I will be reviewing later.

So the final verdict is that if I will buy this

same Natraj classic

pencil

this 621 bonded pencil? No. I will not go for it.

It was not a worthy buy.

So I would recommend that if your

kid is starting out in a kindergarden

if they are starting out with a pencil

better buy them some good

nice dark pencil. So that it will be better

for them. They don't have to give

much pressure

on the pencil

Here is another example where you can see this side of the page

is really light

The corrections are really dark

but the way he has written

it is very light

And here you can see the dark pencil

has given him a good nice handwriting also.

So this is my verdict about this Natraj

Hi guys, this is Flo

I'm sitting on our beautiful barber chair

in our showroom of PomadeShop in Ottobrunn again

and I will do another review for you, in fact one that was requested several times in the comments

and that I'm looking forward to now:

I will show you the Tres Flores pomade or brilliantine.

But first: We are often asked "What is a brilliantine?" .

A brilliantine basically is a light pomade.

Originally a brilliantine is just something

– you hear it in the word "brilliant" –

that gives shine to the hair.

This can be a liquid brilliantine, which is actually just hair oil

or a so called crystalized or solidified brilliantine or brillantina solida

which is just a light pomade.

Just for adding shine to the hair.

And I will use the Tres Flores today

or for the english speaking users

the label also says Three Flowers.

And this is quite a special product

because it's been out there for over 100 years now,

it exists since 1915

with the same very unique scent which I will talk about in a minute.

But what's special about this

pomade or brilliantine first

are the ingredients.

Because this is just fragranced petrolatum.

There's nothing more in it than petrolatum and perfume

or fragrance as the label says.

Because of that it's pretty soft

you could almost say that it gives a medium hold

but I would classify it as a light pomade.

And it has a really awesome scent.

And that's the most unique thing about this pomade.

Its scent is extremely crazy.

First it's very strong

and it feels like getting punched by a bunch-of-flowers-fist

that's how you can describe it.

But not like …

when you enter a flower shop

and smell also elder flowers or just the mixture of many different ones

but it's a very pleasant scent

and it is not too feminine

– flowery scents are often feminine as well –

but it's not with this one.

It's hard to decribe …

the flowery fragrance is totally dominant …

definitely a very strong scent

and if you use this pomade you smell it all day long.

So I think I will use it now.

But first I wet my hair as usual …

Talking about the build up

– Andy last time mentioned that we will talk about that too –

There's still some medium pomade from yesterday left in my hair

but I washed my hair twice

so most of it is gone, but it's still some there.

I could almost do a …

provisionally hairstyle now

but you see

it doesn't hold – there's not enough pomade left.

So I will refresh my hairstyle with Tres Flores now.

But as usual – I'm Flo so I won't take just a little bit.

It scoops out of the can like butter.

If you ever had pure petrolatum in your hands you know …

how it feels, it becomes quite oily and almost liquid in your hands

and you can pull strings with it

that's how I like it: sticky and greasy.

You can already guess about the shine it will give.

I take a good amount of course

and rub it between my hands.

It smacks nicely while I'm rubbing it

that's what it has to do if you want a strong shine.

And the scent is very extreme

it already shines in the hands

and so it does in the hair

I like using it quite often at home as well

because I love the scent

and the shine

so I know what to expect now

and I'm happy about doing this review

and that you guys wanted it.

Because this is one of my favorite products.

A little bit more …

Talking about the image of this pomade

– this pomade today is actually the most popular one

with latino gangsters in South America

also with the girls there

they use it for their hair tips, or just a little for smoothening the hair.

That's makes it kind of the "gangster latino pomade".

I clean my hands with a towel and then …

I comb through.

And it feels like always using a light pomade:

it's very easy

and I can already see the strong shine.

I comb my part as usual …

and slick my hair back first.

You could already say it's ok

if you want to have a slickback, but …

I prefer my pompadour.

It's really extreme

how it shines with the light in here.

So let's …

add some volume to the front.

Pull it upwards …

Works really good.

I think for a quick styling for the video it should be ok.

I show you the shine

it really strong, very brilliant

because it's a brilliantine

and that's what this product is made for.

I think …

that's totally fine for a quick styling.

When you use this pomade

you won't need a perfume

or you have to check if it can be combined with this scent

because it's so strong all day long.

Like I said …

I can totally recommend the Tres Flores pomade

maybe you get it at your barber shop, just ask for it

like I said it exists over 100 years now

and it's still great. Of course you get it at PomadeShop as well.

I'm totally satisfied with the product's performance

and I'm looking forward

Okay, so when I first thought of switching to Android after being with Apple's iPhone for over five years

It seemed like a really bad idea

however, as I start to do a little bit more research it all came clear to me that Google pixel to excel could be a

Phone that will suit my needs perfectly and it might even do better than my current iPhone X

So without further ado, let's unbox this bad boy, shall we alright?

This is 64 gigabytes built-in memory

This one has non expandable memory. So if you are after a really a lot of memory, you probably want to get the bigger version

With me, I'm not really bothered that much since Google gives you unlimited storage for your pictures and videos

This is where I'm gonna be keeping all my stuff

And the main reason what I wanted to get this phone was its camera because it can shoot some amazing amazing

videos as well as really really nice photographs both rear and the front camera are

amazing on this one as well as obviously this is

You know pure Google so all the updates all the all the perks and stuff

I'm gonna be the first to get it the phone comes with Oreo

8.1. I believe at this point or at this one might still 8.0 Oreo

However, I believe the latest update is 8.1. I think

Front facing camera is 8 megapixel with high dynamic range

Which also features portrait mode for those perfect selfies?

And this thing can make some serious pictures

Let me tell you that the way this is achieved is whenever you guys take a picture with this phone

it will basically take like a

Take like a burst of shots and it will combine them

Google a I will basically analyze each one of these photographs in a split of a second and will combine then

Combine those into one beautiful shot

So overall, I'm extremely excited for the change and I've been hearing a lot of good things about this one

Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation - Review (Spoiler Free) - Duration: 6:02.

DRACULA: "Don't you get it? I want to go on a date! I'm... lonely."

MAVIS: "You're stressed our from working too hard. You need a vacation from running everyone else's vacation.

"And I know just how to fix it."

"DRACULA: "Mavis, where are we going?

"A cruise!"

Yup, it's that kind of plot.

You know, these days, folks, I feel really sorry for Genndy Tartakovsky.

Here is an animator who, through several much-beloved cartoons of the last twenty years,

has established much of the visual style that a whole generation of television animation has followed.

Even outside of Samurai Jack, his magnum opus, his work on others' cartoons goes far and wide.

And what has this visionary's career at Sony Animation consisted of for the last several years?

Being promised a chance to make something he's passionate about if he'll direct a Hotel Transylvania,

then being told 'nope' after he's done that, and slotted in to make another Hotel Transylvania.

However, despite being stuck with animated Adam Sandler vehicles that subscribe

to most children's movies clichés, Genndy has done one thing to make these films stand out.

The visuals.

There are other modern CG animations that recall the anarchy of the great cartoon shorts,

but none of them commit to anti-realistic madcap physics like these do.

I realise, to a lot of viewers, this translates to wacky character animation for the sake of it.

And sure, in and of itself, it only proves as an amusing distraction

from the boredom present elsewhere in these films.

The good news, then: since Genndy has a co-writing credit on Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation,

that means the screenplay is structured to allow for as much of that angular, classical cartooning as possible.

It gets really close to being a feature-length take on a 40's cartoon short.

The ones that establish a loose scenario and setting

and them cram in as much visual jokes as 7 minutes allows for.

Now, Hotel Transylvania 3 can't fully be that, as it's still a film made on Sony Animation money,

and thus, has a largely limp narrative. Honestly, it's basically dead as regards meat for discussion.

Narratively and in character arcs, it takes the easy path, and Genndy's wit doesn't bleed over

into the verbal jokes, which remain largely lifeless, like Dracula sucked on their blood.

I like to care about animated characters, even gag vehicles,

but this reveals plot-heavy info so much earlier then the main characters find it out,

that it's hard to drum up much sentiment for them during the plotless middle third.

But, again, that's clearly not the point here. The point is the visual gags.

Even if the film can't be all about them, there are so many scenes that exist

mostly for comic business in playing around with the characters' squishy bodies and flexible faces.

It's almost cliché to say a given animated work has a lot of Looney Tunes in it,

but clichés become so because they are true, my friends.

In particular, I was often reminded of the work of Bob Clampett, one of the Looney Tunes pioneers.

He specialised in plastic physics-defying humour, doing quite a bit to make the Looney Tunes loony in the first place.

There's even an early sequence with gremlins that's almost narratively pointless

and is mostly a tribute to Clampett's gremlins, that's how far the influence goes.

I would love to list off the various visual things that caught my eye, but I'll keep it to a few highlights.

Genndy clearly loved the design of the captain, who feels like a survivor of his Popeye feature

that Sony killed in its crib several years back, with her bulgy proportions and springy limbs.

This is a feature that really loves rubber-hose style animation,

with body parts jolting into place and stretching even when a gag doesn't specifically call for it.

Everything is sidelined to focus on being visually bold, in the colours, the lighting and especially the poses.

Most CG animation focuses on smooth, constant motion.

This one puts extra work into having static poses be very strong and expressive.

In case this sounds like something only an animation nerd might notice, it really isn't.

It's very visually unsubtle, but never in an unsettling way.

And again, that the screenplay is largely, though not completely, structured around this comic business

means a large percentage is blissful, cartoon anarchy, even if obviously not every gag works.

You're constantly aware that Genndy loves animation,

and wants to share its visual delights as best he can.

Even if, regrettably, this one doesn't give him a chance to make something truly special,

which is something Sony Animation desperately needs, he has nothing to be ashamed of here.

Either way, looks like Hotel Transylvania 3 takes the bottom spot on the list.

It's script, narrative and characters lock it below being a good film,

but it's the first one in the franchise where all that didn't dominate my impression coming out of the theatre.

Put in this way: if this film remains at the list's bottom,

we have a very solid slate of animated features for the rest of the year.

Now, this would be where I'd vocalise how my fanatical desire for more "traditional" animation in theatres

comes up against a visual style only marginally upgraded from the TV show it's based on.

Not to mention being based on a TV show that, while not nearly the abomination many often claim it to be,

is wildly inconsistent in delivering its mild goods.

But, this film has been getting absurdly strong critical reviews.

Not Pixar level, but far better then I'd have ever predicted.

So, I'm curious to see for myself what the film's done to earn that praise.

DRACULA: "Must have been garlic in the guacamole." ERIKA: "Isn't that deadly for you?"
