Sockwa X8 Review UPDATE for Forefoot Running - Duration: 13:57.

I just wanna do a follow-up review on the Sockwa X8, which is a much thinner-than-average-minimalist

shoe that's a crossbreed between a minimalist shoe and a sock, I've had the X8's for

well over a year; they've been through a lot as you can probably tell; I've racked

up a ton of kilometers running and walking in the shoes.

I run about 18-km to 21 km a day, predominantly on the road, sometimes on trails and grass.

In the winter, if the snow is too deep, I run at the indoor track.

Based on my use of the Sockwa X8 in these running conditions, out all the barefoot-minimciking

minimalist running shoes I've tried, the Sockwa X8 is one of the most weather-versatile

in that they've excelled at keeping my feet cool in the summer and warm in the winter

AND more impressively, despite the shoe's thinness, the structural integrity of the

Sockwa X8 has outlasted, by a long shot, compared to other barefoot-influenced minimalist shoes.

Despite appearing flimsy; despite being constructed with very few materials, the fabrics, including

the rubber outsole of the Sockway X8 are impressively durable.

Sockwa really hit it out of the park in their formulation of constructing a paper-thin shoe

that's highly durable and long-lasting.

In my honest opinion, its really the long-lasting durability that fundamentally sets the Sockwa

X8 apart from most barefoot-inspired running shoes.

My Sockwa X8's have been through a lot, but their days are far from numbered as you

can tell they show very minimal, almost zero signs of wear and tear; they're still going

strong, that's why I put the Sockwa X8s at the top of my list of highly recommended

minimalist running shoes, especially for those looking for a close-approximated substitute

to barefoot running, again because the Sockwa X8s are built to last, even after being exposed

to harsh winter elements, the heat, sunlight, humidity, the materials of the Sockwa X8 seems

to be much more stable and dynamic than most barefoot-style shoes in its class!

So, what additionally makes the Sockwa X8 so appealing?

What else is the shoe good for?

Because the Sockwa X8 is incredibly low-to-the-ground, its zero-drop, has non-existant cushioning

which collectively, gives the shoe its ample flexibility, its nimble-nature and agility

as well as its feather-light weight, the X8 is definitely ideal for those transitioning

to more minimalist shoe models or even barefoot running.

If you prefer not to run barefoot, the Sockwa X8 is ideal for speedwork on smooth surfaces,

on grass, or the beach.

The X8's would also be great as an occasional track shoe.

They're also ideal for 5 km races, even racing distances up to the marathon, or ultra

marathons on any terrain.

The Sockwa X8 is great for the gym including weight-lifting, crossfit, they're also great

for hiking, walking, beach-sports, pretty much anything except for maybe obstacle course

races, such as Spartan and Tough Mudders to which I dont compete in OCRs, so I can't

comment on how well the X8 would perform in those events.

Last but not least, the Sockwa X8 is of course perfect for everyday wear, but overall, the

use and practicalities of the Sockwa X8 ultimately depends on what YOU prefer in terms of under-foot

feel in a running shoe.

If you love crystal-clear ground feel, if you don't mind feeling every single, specific

aspect of the ground, including every little pebble, every little twig, also including

the temperature of the ground --that's how thin the outsole of the Sockwa X8 is --you

can literally feel the coldness or the warmth of the ground -- if you like to feel almost

barefoot, the Sockwa X8 is the perfect candidate for you.

The Sockwa X8 virtually has no under-foot padding; it's literally just a thin 2-mm

sliver of soft, pliable rubber that delivers probably the highest sensory resolution you're

gonna get from a rubber outsole.

No doubt, the Sockwa X8 will more than meet your sensory needs and exceed your barefoot-minmalistic

expectations if that's what you prefer.

Now in contrast, if you prefer a little underfoot cushioning, or if you prefer a lot of underfoot

cushioning; if you don't want feel the pebbly, stoney literated terrain beneath your feet,

the Sockwa X8 is not for you.

But again, if you want to feel as close to being barefoot as possible without having

to actually go barefoot, the Sockwa X8 is on your side.

I just really wanted to drill that point home.

In looking at the upper of the Sockwa X8, it's essentially a one-piece upper that's

soft and light that fits a little up the ankle, not to tight, but securely enough to prevent

debris from flying in.

Inside the shoe, it's pretty much seamless to prevent irritation and blistering.

As you can tell, the upper is not the most fanciest design, Sockwa kept it simple, but

who cares because when it comes to developing and upholding strong feet, better balance

stability and improving running form, function trumps fashion in this case.

The upper design of the Sockwa X8 is a take from a water-sock and is resilient, it wraps

to your foot look like a wet-suit; and is built to handle a lot of miles despite how

thin it is.

Sockwa definitely threw in lots of durability and rip-resistance into the upper without

compromising flexibility or weight.

Most importantly, credit of the unmatched flexibility of the upper goes to the lack

of external support or reinforcements to which no external support in a shoe is most often

a better way to build more functionally strong, resilient, more tolerant feet because all

sectors of the foot are engaged, enabling the foot to function independently, stimulating

the growth of a stronger foot.

Therefore, like a true barefoot-style running shoe, the Sockwa X8 lets your feet stay powered-up

in muscular engagement which over time, will produce a stronger foot and stronger, more

responsive arches as well as stronger ankles which may help bring results that's good

for injury prevention.There's obviously no straps or laces to the X8's upper, which

really gives you a nice ease of entry.

The upper isn't bogged down with unnecessary overlays or plastic materials which offers

up more flexibility and lightness, enabling you to feel more agile and efficient.

The upper is also really stretchy and adaptable across the entire foot, so it's unlikely that

you'll have any serious fitting problems.

At the front of shoe, it doesn't feel boxy because the forefoot widens and follows the

curvature of the front of the foot, allowing for plenty of wiggle-room for toe splay, toe

flexion and easily allowing for forefoot expansion which are essential for helping you levy better

balance control.

When your feet, especially your toes, can operate more freer, when they can participate

more fully as they do in the Sockwa X8, you always seem to do better, everything seems

to benefit in that it keeps the toes functionally strong and your balance more steadied which

in turn, might help protect you from ankle injury, especially during running.

Another impressive benefit of the Sockwa X8's upper is that its made of an ariaprene foam

material that's breathable, yet thermal, offering outstanding comfort in any weather condition,

at least with my experience.

When paired with socks, the upper does a great job of sealing your feet away from the cold,

it keeps your toes pretty warm during really cold, frigid wintery conditions.

During the summer, the upper provides enough airflow, keeping your feet from cooking in

the heat.

I also want to mention that you can definitely wear the Sockwa X8 without socks because the

inside of the shoe is lined with plenty of soft, seamless materials that feels really

smooth on your feet, so you wont get any hot spots or blistering and also, internally,

the shoe is made of moisture-wicking fabric that has anti-odor properties.

Ultimately, compared to other barefoot-like minimalist running shoes, the Sockwa X8's

unstructured upper is really one of the hallmarks of the shoe's great construction in that

the upper thermally fortifies the foot during the winter and also does a great job at keeping

your feet cool in the summer, but I really appreciate that the moisture-wicking lining

helps keep the feet fresh and comfortable in hotter temperatures.

One of the reasons the Sockwa X8 is so prized among minimalist shoe wear-testers, including

myself, is its 2-mm thin rubber outsole which is literally the thinnest slab of rubber you

can possibly get in a minimalist running shoe, but the outsole is also built to handle a

lot of miles and can really stand up to long distance running without the rubberized material

degrading as fast as it so often does in many other thin-sole barefoot-style running shoes.

The X8's outsole is also equipped with traction features to help keep your feet grippy on

slippery surfaces during running and walking.

It does provide pretty good traction when running on icy surfaces and snow, at least

with my experience, that's because the outsole is constructed with a slip-resistant rubberized

tread pattern.

As you can tell, the outsole of the Sockwa X8 is zero drop meaning the sole is completely

flat; the outsole is thinner, more flexible, more soft than most Vibram FiveFinger models.

Most importantly, the X8's outsole isn't loaded down with EVA foam, gels, plastic plates,

or foot-stabilizing features that drain away foot strength, but rather, the X8's outsole

is a thin sliver of supremely flexible rubber, allowing the entire shoe to easily roll up

into a ball, and really does a great job at lining the bottom of your foot and provides

a light, zippy feel while being protective enough to prevent your underfoot from blistering,

or tearing when running on any terrain.

I also want to mention that the Sockwa X8 doesn't come with a removable outsole and

that's to keep the shoe as minimalistic as possible.

This is actually what the Sockwa X8 is designed for was to reflect the barefoot condition

in efforts to prompt more appropriate uses of the foot, especially a forefoot strike

during running, so not only will the shoe help you build up more internal strength in

the foot/ankle complex, but also helps get your forefoot strike running mechanics more

lined up so that the net effect is less pounding with foot on the ground, which makes you well

on your way to potentially avoid impact-related injuries.

Last but not least, how does the Sockwa X8 compare to other minimalist running shoes?

Along the minimalist running shoe spectrum, in terms of thinness and ground-feel, the

Sockwa X8 falls along the same line as the Skinners and the Free You Free minimalist

running socks, which are IMO, the most barefoot-mimicking, thinnest forms of minimalist footwear out

there and the Sockwa X8 are just as low to the ground as the Free Your Feet and the Skinners.

I've done video reviews on the Skinners and the FYF's running socks, they're linked

down below in the description box.

Actually, the Sockwa X8 provides just a tad more underfoot protection than the SKinners

and the FYF.

Furthermore, the Sockwa X8 is definitely thinner, more lightweight, more warm, provides more

ground-feel than most thin Vibram Five Finger models.

Overall, compared to most minimalist running shoes, the upper coupled with the outsole

of the Sockwa X8 gives a second-skin feel, which is a feel that's hard to come by in

many minimalist running shoes.

Ultimately, the Sockwa X8 is a great match for the barefoot crowd because the shoe excels

at delivering a very similar sensory experience to the barefoot condition, making the X8 one

the best alternatives to running barefoot; the sensory input your get from the X8 is

an excellent catalyst in helping you coordinate a lighter, more responsive forefoot strike

during running.

Again, the X8 is durable for high mileage and for any weather condition; whether you

go fast or slow, this versatile minimalist shoe/sock can handle whatever workout you're

doing.

I love the simplicity of the X8's design; I really appreciate the smooth one-piece upper

and how its totally unstructured, same with the outsole which is going to help deliver

more agility, helping improve your balance control which going to come in handy for prompting

more solid footing on uneven terrain, but most importantly, and I can't emphasize

this enough, if you want a running shoe that captures large volumes of sensory feedback,

you can't go wrong with the Sockwa X8; it certainly won't disappoint you in that department.

Moonlighter Review - Duration: 13:04.

I don't know about you but I've been searching for a game that combines running a shop with

exploring a dungeon for quite some time.

It's really the best of both worlds, if done correctly.

But I cannot avoid mentioning Recettear, the first game I played that combined both well.

After playing Recettear, oh so long ago, I've had a hunger for something similar.

Many other games have tried and fell very short.

I'm happy to say that Moonlighter is finally the game I'll be recommending to any fans

of Recettear that want a similar experience.

Don't rush and buy it yet though!

While it is similar it's not exactly the same and you should know the differences first.

So as we know the game is split into two.

By day you're a merchant running a shop called the Moonlighter.

By night you're moonlighting as an explorer, plumbing the depths of the dungeons.

Oh hey!

I get the name now!

Anyway, the town of Rynoka has been hit with some hard times.

These strange dungeons the town was founded on have been closed to the public since they're

so dangerous.

As the owner, Will, of the Moonlighter shop you enter the dungeon to gather relics to

sell.

Luckily these dungeons aren't deadly.

If you die inside you'll mysteriously wake up outside the dungeon but with all of your

items gone.

Also the dungeons are instanced so you can't come across other people and they have a completely

random layout each time you enter.

The dungeons are by far the strongest part of the game.

The designs of each are unique but share some similar elements.

It will feel somewhat familiar entering a new dungeon but it will still be new and exciting.

The handcrafted room are very well put together and there are so many of them that the dungeon

doesn't become stale.

Which is great because you will be going into the dungeon a lot.

It takes a few runs before you're able to reach the later floors.

The enemies throughout are also well designed, fun and interesting to fight against.

I appreciate that they have different kinds of enemies for each dungeon.

What's interesting is that the combat is often more about positioning.

As long as you aren't standing in the line of fire you'll be good to go.

For example, an enemy might fire a beam only in one direction and you just need to move

slightly to be out of the way.

Moonlighter makes it more intense by adding in other kinds of enemies that don't allow

you to stand still.

You usually need to clear out those other enemies first so you can take care of the

more simple static enemies.

The roll dodge is also responsive and can be used as much as you want.

You're free to roll around the room until you can get some space or see an opening.

The weapon types kind of play into this too.

You start off with a sword and shield but later can craft a broad sword, spear, fists,

and a bow.

Each handles in their own way and changes your positioning.

Obviously with the longer weapons you can stand further away but they're weaker, The

bow is really useful though because a lot of enemies are most dangerous when you're

close.

However, that type of combat only persists for the first three floors of a dungeon.

The bosses are much harder and can be a bit crazy.

It's almost like a bullet hell with how many projects are on the screen.

They're much harder, require upgrades, and half the battle is getting there without taking

damage.

I usually speed run through the first three floors to get there while trying to hang on

to my health potions.

The bosses are more of a test of stamina than anything else.

The openings they give you are very small and their health bar is very long so you have

to constantly poke at them and keep on the move.

Still, it feels great to beat them and puts some finality on the dungeon.

One advantage Will has is that ability to leave the dungeon at any time with all of

his items.

Early on your given a pendant that, for a small fee, will teleport you out of the dungeon.

While the gold it takes does increase as you go deeper into the dungeon it's still never

that expensive.

You'll always want to have enough gold on hand to quickly escape before entering a dungeon.

The pendant can even be used in combat and while moving which makes Moonlighter pretty

easy.

If you enter a room and it appears too difficult just teleport out, sell, and try again.

I wish there was more risk when entering a dungeon.

With such a simple and easy method of escape it really removes a lot of the pressure.

I always made sure I had plenty of gold for an escape and by the time I was low on health

my pack was full.

I knew I was going to make plenty of money.

You can get knocked out of the teleport but it's so quick that's almost not a problem.

Maybe a new game plus would increase the cost and extend the teleport time significantly.

There's one other aspect of the dungeon that's going to take up a lot of your time and that's

bag management.

You'll be doing a ton of it.

Shimmying items around from spot to spot, trying to create the perfect layout to get

as many items as possible.

Space is limited throughout the whole game and cannot be increased.

Also some items are cursed which makes it even more difficult.

For example, some can only be placed on the side or there's a curse that will destroy

an adjacent item when returning to town.

Note that an item with a curse is unique and cannot be stacked with the same item unless

it has the same curse.

You'll be constantly reshuffling based on new items you come across.

Trying to make sure none of your precious items are destroyed.

I became obsessed with trying to pack in as many items as possible.

Moonlighter makes it a little bit easier by giving you quick access to the item's prices.

If you've sold the item before you can see the best price and make sure to take back

only the items that are worth it.

I don't think you have to be obsessive but you want the most gold, right?

Also if you wishlist an item from the town, like a new weapon that you want, you'll see

a star on the item.

That way you can remember which items you need for crafting.

It's incredibly nice to have these simple touches and keep the bag management from becoming

a game about memory.

I really like the dungeons and I think they're better than Recettear.

Just better on every possible level.

More interesting layout, enemies, and item management.

If you can remember the dungeon in Recettear gets boring.

In Moonlighter it gets better as you go with four different dungeons, each with their own

theme.

It's great that the third floor is much harder and contains unique items not found in the

other two.

There's a progression to it since you'll need upgrades from the first two floors.

Still I didn't feel particularly challenged and only died a handful of times.

I would place the dungeons at a medium to light difficultly.

I had to replay bosses a few times and flee scary situations but the punishment for death

isn't bad.

It's a much smoother experience that I like.

OK, enough dungeon talk.

The shop is an equally significant part of Moonlighter.

Not only because it's the name of the game but because you need the money.

Working the shop is fairly obvious.

Place items on the table and set the price.

You watch your patrons reactions to the price to know if you set it correctly.

No haggling required.

Either they'll buy the item or put it back.

When they get the golden eyes then you know you set the price too low.

Kind of hurts when you miss out on that potential profit.

Thankfully the game keeps track of this for you.

Moonlighter saves the last set price for you which is useful.

Even better, you can see the prices you've previously set and the reaction.

The user interface is well done.

It's so simple to move over to the book and see the prices.

Will's record keeping is meticulous.

Most of the time when the shop is open you'll be adjusting prices and inventory.

It's best to set the prices higher than you think to maximize profit.

There is no real downside, if that customer doesn't want it someone else will.

There's no pressure when selling items so even if it does sell below market value as

long as you have enough to teleport out of the dungeon nothing is lost.

There's no looming deadline like Recettear which made that game quite difficult.

The worst that can happen is a thief might come in, announce themselves, and try and

steal one of your items.

No joke, as soon as they enter there is a thought bubble showing they are a thief.

They do the same thing every time and it's always the same few people.

It's really easy to deal with.

Why can't the town arrest these continuous thieves!?

I'm sure I could pick them out of a lineup.

Also they claim customers will get tired of items but I have yet to encounter that.

There are so many different kinds of items to sell it's not a problem.

On the end of day screen it shows popularity change but, so what.

I imagine it's in place to stop you from selling the highest priced item exclusively.

Anyway, the shop feels so casual and easy going.

I do enjoy seeing my hard work, collecting items in the dungeons, actually paying off.

Getting that huge lump of cash at the end of the day is quite rewarding.

But it's also really easy and can get tedious.

Moonlighter even knows this and later on gives you an assistant to take care of the selling

for you.

I'm surprised they take away a large portion of the game so you can focus on the dungeon.

The game is just super generous about how much gold it gives you too.

So even if a thief does steal something, it's fine.

While there are ways to make new weapons and potions in town trying to sell those items

in your shop is a waste of time.

Buyers don't really want to pay for your time and managing the items is a pain.

The profit margin is too low.

It's a bit of a disappointment.

It's an opportunity missed to work on crafting gear to sell in the shop along side the simple

items from the dungeons.

Once you figure out all the pricing you just need to dump the items on the tables and wait.

People do come in and request things, like a quest, but they're not required.

It gives you a large chunk of money but going back to an older dungeon doesn't seem worth

it.

With all this gold you're free to give some of it away to revitalize the town.

This causes new merchants to move it like the potion master and blacksmith.

Why I need to pay them to move here and sell me items I'll never understand.

Especially when I'm paying the blacksmith an arm and a leg to build me new weapons and

I bring the materials!

Still, it's satisfying to bring the town back to life.

As you keep putting money into the town more people show up and make the town feel alive.

Overall, I really enjoyed Moonlighter.

I think it has some issues with the difficultly curve and it was generally too easy for me.

The story is a bit odd where the village elder keeps telling me not to play the game.

Whatever dude, I'm playing.

That said Moonlighter does a good job creating an atmosphere and feels so satisfying when

V-Moda Crossfade 2 Wireless headphones.

Now for those of you who aren't very familiar

V-Moda is a brand that all of us

here at Headphone Zone has loved

over the years.

Mostly because of its really techie fashion-forward design

and for the fact that they've been making

some outstanding sounding headphones

that were really made for both DJs

and audiophiles alike.

V-Moda has designed all its headphones

from its Milan design center

and they're now engineered with some cutting-edge

Japanese technology.

I'd say V-Moda is the kind of headphone

you wanna be seen wearing when you're stepping

out of your Lamborghini wearing an Armani suit.

Its the culmination of decades worth of

design and engineering and which is why

its worthy to be called a 'Flagship'.

The Crossfade 2 Wireless is clearly built like a tank

Is been rated at military levels of durability

and you can drop it from a height of 10 feet

and the chances are that you'd probably need a new floor.

You will find that the Crossfade 2 Wireless features

a Steelflex headband

you can flatten it, virtually without any chance of the

headphone being spoilt, loosing shape or even breaking.

The headband itself features Vegan leather

so they're quite durable and tend not to have

any kind of damage on it what so ever.

The headphones can survive extreme environments

like lots of humidity, extreme temperatures,

and even saltwater sprays.

Perhaps the most impressive part

of the Crossfade 2 wireless

is your ability to get a custom artwork

engraved on to the shields of these headphones

its absolutely amazing that they can be

personalised to this level.

Comfort has been the topmost

priority, because the people who are gonna be

using these headphones aren't just musicians

and DJs, there are also people who are businessmen,

executives and musicians wearing them

for hours on end.

I like the fact that the headphones

feature memory cushions for the ear pads

and they really hug the contours of your ears.

V-Moda has designed these headphones

to be used equally well, both on

wired and wireless mode

Djs and professional musicians are more likely

to use it on the wired mode

take advantage of its zero latency

but at the same time while you are on the move

they sound equally good on wireless.

The headphones feature 14 hours of battery life

which is amazing and it has

10 meters of range, so they can be used quite conveniently

in a gym.

You'll find that it can pair simultaneously with 2 devices

which I think is a real great feature to have.

The Rose Gold variant also features Qualcomm's aptX technology

which means that when you've paired it on

wireless mode, The music is transmitted

at nearly CD quality

which means you get a real lossless experience.

The built-in microphone on the device is also

compatible with all the voice assistance out there

so by a simple flick of a switch,

you can command Siri, Alexa, Cortana, Ok Google

and all the other voice assistance out there

Ok, unlike a lot of the other headphones in this price point

the V-Moda Crossfade 2 Wireless

don't feature Active Noise Cancellation

but they do an outstanding job

especially with the memory foam cushions

of cutting out all the ambient sound like

Aircraft engine noise, the shouting of people around you

or the sound of crying babies.

I'll probably stick my neck out and say that the

Crossfade 2 Wireless is the most portable of all

the headphones in this category.

It features V-Moda's click-fold hinges

which allows you to fold these headphones

into super compact palm-sized form factor

and it fits into an exoskeleton carrying case

that's really super compact making it easy to carry with you

everywhere.

Now V-Moda has over the years been known for making

a sound signature that makes you feel

like you're at a nightclub

rather than that of a concert hall

or clean sanitized music studio

Its always been over the top, aggressive

unapologetic and loud with its bass.

But, the Crossfade 2 Wireless is anything

but that, it's the most precise and audiophile friendly headphone

to come out of V-Moda's table in a long time.

I'd say its also really versatile,

so even if you're a person who doesn't enjoy EDM,

house or hip-hop then these are headphones

that can certainly sound very very good

no matter what you use it with.

I'd say this is certainly not clinical

and precise like an open back audiophile

headphone, but the Crossfade 2 Wireless is certainly

very musical and enjoyable and fun to

listen to, which is I think the point of it.

Technically, the headphones are really

top notch, they feature 15mm driver unit

that has a dual diaphragm design from Japan.

So the bass is really not bleeding into the mids and highs

and they have real nice clean sound.

They've been even certified as a High-Res headphone

by the Japanese audio society.

Don't forget the Rose Gold color comes with aptX

which means that the sound quality is absolutely

lossless when you're using it on wireless mode.

Ok! Now lets wrap this up.

For less than ₹30,000 the V-Moda Crossfade 2 Wireless

doesn't shine on any one aspect

but I find that these are the most versatile headphone

and it really comes as a complete package

covering all basis.

I don't think that there's really any other headphone

in this category that leaves me as impressed

as the Crossfade 2 Wireless.

They look beautiful, sound amazing, portable, easy to use

and its some headphone that really takes your breath away

once you put them on.

In here, it's a common thing to stop and drink tea

Indian loves tea very much, not sure why

Normally they will drink milk tea

But I prefer black tea over milk tea

The milk tea doesn't taste like Malaysian Milk Tea

The difference is Malaysian will make the tea with condensed milk while Indian Milk tea is made by fresh milk

And the milk in India taste better than the milk in Indonesia.

Probably because they take care of the cows better

A glass of tea (on the roadside) will cost you 10 rupess or 2000 rupiah

The tea is hot

Over here they don't have Ice Tea

In Indonesia we can have ice tea

Over there we will drink Ice Tea in the hot weather

Over here, they still drink hot tea in hot weather

It's like weird for them if you drink ice tea

Review of Gender Equity in the Department of Justice's Law Enforcement Components - Duration: 2:45.

Hello, I'm Michael Horowitz, Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Justice.

Today our office released a review of gender equity in the Department's four law enforcement

components – the FBI, the DEA, the ATF, and the U.S. Marshals Service.

We conducted this review after receiving several complaints expressing concerns about gender

discrimination and harassment at these components.

As part of our review, we conducted individual interviews, an anonymous online survey, and

focus groups.

While overall staff generally believed that their components were gender equitable, our

review found that women, especially female Criminal Investigators, overwhelmingly did

not hold this view.

We found one reason that likely contributed to this view was that women were underrepresented

in the Criminal Investigator workforce overall, and especially in supervisory and leadership

positions.

For example, in 2016, women held over 57 percent of non-Criminal Investigator positions, but

they only held 16 percent of Criminal Investigator positions.

And during the 6 year period we examined, there were few women leading field offices,

field divisions, or districts in the four law enforcement components, and even fewer

in headquarters executive positions leading operational units.

Additionally, we determined that female criminal investigators were underrepresented in competitive

promotions at the FBI, DEA, and ATF.

This may have contributed to a belief that there is a "glass ceiling" for women at

these agencies.

We also found it concerning that, in response to our survey, 22 percent of all women and

43 percent of female Criminal Investigators reported that they had experienced some form

of gender discrimination during the previous 5 years.

These and other findings – including findings related to what we believe is underreporting

of discrimination allegations based on factors like fear of stigma and retaliation – are

described in detail in today's report.

Beats by Dr. Dre is probably the most

iconic headphone brand of our times

and the fact that it's owned by Apple

they only adds to the aura around the brand.

The Studio 3 Wireless is Beats's 'flagship' headphone

and it features Adaptive Noise Cancellation

and the now fabled, Apple W1chip.

We thought we'd do a quick video

taking a closer look at these headphones

and giving you everything that you need to know

about the Beats Studio 3 Wireless.

Lets get started

I wanna first talk about the design

of the Studio 3 Wireless

It's an unmistakably Beats by Dre headphone.

It comes in a wide range of colors

and have a really nice premium look to it.

But, Beats has over the years been more

famous... and infamous for having a really cheap plastic

build quality. But the Studio 3 Wireless is a

definite upgrade. The construction of the headphone is still

plastic, but they are definitely very durable

it looks like its really received the Apple treatment

to make the headphones really nice and matt

rather than the earlier cheap, glossy finish.

The big design feature for me

is the fact that the headphones can be collapsed

and folded. It allows for the headphone

to be stashed away really conveniently.

The Apple W1 chip is really the 'Angel' and the 'Devil'

when it comes to the Studio 3 Wireless.

Now, Apple has really designed these headphones

to work exclusively and extensively with the

Apple ecosystem, So pairing these headphones

with the iPhone is an absolute breeze.

You simply bring the Studio 3 Wireless close to an

iPhone and the W1 chip gets detected

and it pairs seamlessly.

Pairing it with an iMac is just

as easy. And if you're listening to iTunes,

you find that you can control your music

right from your headphones.

Calling upon Siri from the headphones is just as seamless

and Apple has really paid attention to the smallest of details

while using these headphones.

If you're gonna be using these headphones with an Android

device, You'll find that even pairing the headphones

is very painful. The headphones sometimes

don't show up on the Bluetooth menu

and connection dropouts are very common.

You find that while you're using it with

an Apple device, the Studio 3 Wireless comes with

22 hours of battery life, try using it

with an Android and the battery life

falls down to only 14 hours.

You can't really use these headphones

to control the way you stream your music

with Spotify or Tidal

or with really any other streaming service

quite the same way as you can

when you're using them with iTunes.

You also find that the functionality gets very limited

when you're not just using it with

Android devices but with the windows laptop

or with an Amazon firestick

or with a Google Chromecast.

More importantly

the Studio 3 Wireless doesn't support Qualcomm's

aptX codec, So these headphones sound great

as long as you use it, you guessed it... with an Apple device.

I think that the main feature that Apple has

gone for with the Studio 3 Wireless

is the Adaptive Noise Cancellation function on these headphones

The headphone is constantly optimizing the sound

its playing into your ears, by detecting the sound

around you and in the environment.

Its Noise Cancellation isn't the best in its class

but it certainly gets the job done.

In terms of sound... Beats by Dr. Dre

has always been known for having lots and lots of bass

and the Studio 3 Wireless is certainly a very bass heavy

and warm sounding headphone.

It lacks a lot of the detail and refinement

then a lot of the other headphones in this class have

but Apple isn't trying to impress audiophiles

with these headphones.

The Studio 3 is a fun sounding headphone

especially if you listen to music like EDM,

or Bollywood... or really anything which has a

thick bassline.

In conclusion, the Beats Studio 3 Wireless

is neither the best sounding headphone,

nor the best Noise Cancellation headphone

but, if you're someone who is loyal to the Apple ecosystem

you'll find that the convenience offered by

the Studio 3 Wireless is simply unparalleled.

It's Apple doing what Apple does best

which is offering a seamless user experience

across all its devices.

I'm only going to recommend the Studio 3 Wireless

to an Apple fan boy.

Maximus Camera Floodlight Review with Kuna App - Things to know... - Duration: 10:26.

Hello youtubers! Today I'm going to be reviewing the Maximus camera floodlight

with motion integrated LED also referred to as the Maximus motion activated

outdoor integrated LED camera floodlight that is used in conjunction with the

Kuna smart home security app by Kona systems. First I'll talk about the

features, what I like and dislike, then the app, then I'll cover a few other

specifications, and finally I'll briefly talk about installation. I want you to

know beforehand what it is you're signing up for and I mean that literally.

That way you'll know whether this product is right for you. See the

information section below if you want to jump to different sections of the video.

Just note that I do not show you how to install the fixture in this video. Let's

start with the features. The Maximus camera floodlight is another innovation

in DIY security and lighting. I think of this product as a combination outdoor

motion sensing light, security alert system, and kind of a video doorbell. The

camera shoots full color HD video in 1080p. "Full color video even at night?," you

ask. Well, while this camera doesn't have night vision it has a motion sensor

which turns on the floodlights and illuminates the yard like a Hollywood

movie set. It's all "lights, camera, action"... only in your yard;

hence, full color HD video at night. And using smart detection the camera begins

recording 10 seconds before an event is triggered. That works because while

the camera's viewing angle is 155 degrees, the sensor has potentially a 270

degree detection angle, but I'll get to that in a moment. The LED lights are

bright providing 2400 lumens of output and they have a color temperature of

5000 Kelvin... that's a cold white leaning towards blue on the spectrum. It's like

the color of snow on the ground at night with a full moon after it stops snowing. Anyway,

in my opinion, 5000 Kelvin leans a bit towards the lighting used in interrogation

rooms, but it's likely the trade-off required to get full color HD video at

night sows'll let that slide. The LED lights are dimmable and programmable using the

kuna app, so you can program a weekday or weekend schedule, or simply dusk until

dawn, or is it dawn until dusk? Oh dusk till

dawn, yeah, or have the lights activated by motion. Now the detection range of the

sensor is 70 feet; however, if you're not

mounting the fixture at the recommended height above the ground, which I'll talk

about in a moment, you'll lose 15 feet of detection for every 5 degree change in

the sensor's angle. The recommended height is 7 feet according to the box

and 8 feet according to the instructions. Huh?,

but either way at 7 or 8 feet above the ground these lights will likely blind

guests welcomed or not. So luckily the brightness can be adjusted in the app.

And I don't know about you, but I think 7 to 8 feet above the ground for a floodlight

seems a bit low. Usually floodlights are mounted above a garage or porches

under the eaves. In my case I mounted this fixture 16 feet above a porch which

meant angling the sensor down so I'm not gonna get 70 feet of detection range.

Also keep in mind that while the detection angle is 270 degrees, which is

for corner mounting, most of us who put this on the side of a house or garage

will get 180 degrees of detection because the thing can't see around

corners... unless you mount it on a corner. Now the app and fixture used together have

many somewhat useful features. For example, from the app you can do two way

talk, trigger a 100 decibels siren alarm, or upon sensing motion you can

have the light chime, bark like a dog, or play pre-recorded greetings likely to

confuse welcomed guests, delivery people, and strangers alike. That's sarcasm!

In my testing of the 2-way talk feature I experienced significant latency in the

signal even though the Kuna app was telling me the fixture had a good Wi-Fi

signal. I should point out that the app can tell you the fixture's Wi-Fi signal

strength; however, you won't know how good until the fixture is installed, powered

on, and you've performed setup in the app. I know! Kind of bass-ackwards right? Now

the ability to trigger noises or greetings when motion is

detected seem like a cool feature to me, but in practice, I found they got

annoying pretty quickly. I don't want to hear something like this every time I

walk out of the door. <<chime sound>> Luckily you can adjust the speaker volume and turn on

and off greetings and chimes in the kuna app.

There are a few features the security camera does not have that I would find

useful. First it does not have the ability to pan from the app. This is a

stationary camera. During installation you set the direction of the eyeball by

gently pushing it in with your thumb and directing it. Secondly, unless you pay to

upgrade to Kuna's premium AI smart detection feature, the sensor does not

have the ability to ignore motion in specific areas of the sensors range. It's

sometimes referred to as a block out feature and many higher-end security

cameras have this for free. A block out feature is handy if there's a tree, or in

our case a tree and an umbrella, in the detection range which triggers motion.

Because I'm not willing to pay for additional services, my phone lights up

like a pinball machine every time the wind blows the tree or

the umbrella. And if that fixture is set to chime or play greetings, my neighbors

are gonna start texting me to shut up. I can adjust the motion sensitivity in the

Kuna app and turn off or snooze alerts, but because I've got the sensitivity

sensitivity super low, I actually miss what I would consider important events.

Let's talk about the kuna app. After installing the fixture, but before

turning on power, you go to the App Store and download the Kuna smart home

security app. You select and set up your device in the app. And I'll admit that

because the kuna app is made to accommodate multiple devices there is a

learning curve to navigating it. After setup in the app you can view live

video, do 2-way talk, play pre-recorded messages, sound an alarm, call 911,

view real-time video, review past video, download videos to your phone, adjust

speaker volume, set lighting programs, adjust brightness and motion sensitivity,

turn on and off or snooze alerts, among other things

Now here's my biggest gripe with this company and perhaps it's my own fault

for not visiting the www.getkuna com website and doing the proper due

diligence beforehand. Nowhere in the packaging did it mention

where videos are stored or for how long they're stored, or that there is an

additional subscription charge involved to review and download videos older than

two hours. Here's how I discovered this. Upon

installing the app I was given a 14-day trial of some of the premium features.

Most importantly the trial allows you the ability to review, rewind, and

download an unlimited number of video events during the trial period. Once the

trial period is over and you're being spammed with kuna emails, you can only

download three videos per month and there's only a two-hour window to review

motion trigger events... that is unless you buy an annual subscription package.

Two hours?!?! What if I'm in a three hour meeting when someone breaks into the

house and steals the cat. Anyway, here are the packages available at the time of

this video: $4.99 per month billed annually for one camera with seven-day

look-back, unlimited downloads, and a few other things seen here; $9.99 per

month billed annually for up to four cameras, 14 days look-back, and unlimited

downloads with few other goodies; and $19.99 per month billed annually for up

to eight cameras and thirty day look-back, with unlimited downloads plus

other goodies. I feel like this is a classic bait-and-switch, but again, I

didn't do my homework. After the 14-day trial period,

if you don't want to pay annual subscription fees, this is what you get.

Perhaps I wouldn't have such an issue with this if I was taking a DIY approach

to home security and had more than one camera, but this is not an inexpensive

product and to have to pay additional subscription fees is kind of annoying.

Specifications and other things to note. The kuna smart security app is

available on the Apple iTunes Store or Google Play, and can be voice-activated

with Google assistant and Alexa. The fixture's input voltage is rated for

100-277 volts 50 60 Hertz and it works with 2.4

and 5 gigahertz Wi-Fi frequencies. It's suitable for wet locations... it is an

outdoor light after all right? But I should point out that it's made of

plastic which may or may not hold up in harsh weather conditions over the long

run. And while I haven't experienced this

problem, another reviewer reported water making its way into the camera, which

caused hazing. Strangely for the price it only comes

with a one-year warranty. The fixture has an integrated LED so the bulb should

last a long time even though I take issue with integrated LEDs in general

because once the LEDs go the entire fixture is junk and then needs to be

replaced. But let me share one thing I know about sensor lights.... it's usually

the sensor that dies first. The sensor gets sun-faded, bleached out,

and the plastic breaks. Is this sensor replaceable? Doesn't say. Also I don't

know the quality of the camera's electronics, but I've had two inexpensive

security cameras that cost a little over a hundred bucks and both lasted

about a year. I'm just saying time will tell. Regarding installation,

it's straightforward. Not 15 minutes as stated here on the box, but I'm also not

an electrician. Installation isn't bad though. Also keep in mind if you install

the camera floodlight into a fixture that is connected to a light switch, when

someone accidentally turns off the switch, the camera and lights go off.

Makes sense, right? Overall this is a decent product for a DIY security system,

but you'll need to determine if it's right for you given all the extra money

you'll need to shell out for the added features. I hope this video has been

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Review - Just As Good As The Beats X At Half The Price - Duration: 5:44.

Over the past few years Oneplus has gained this reputation of being this company that

listens to its costumers, and puts out great products which are very reasonably priced.

And OnePlus made a very good first impression on me with their new Bullets Wireless ear

buds.

They're obviously a much cheaper alternative to the Beats X.

And even though the Bullets Wireless do sacrifice build quality here and there… over all the

Bullets Wireless are a great pair of Wireless ear buds that give the Beats X a run for their

money.

Oneplus's Wireless Bullets currently retail for $69… which is half of what the Beats

X retail for… $150.

And for the most part when I've tested sub $100 wireless ear buds the results were pretty

bad… but not with the Bullets.

If you want to pick either of these ear phones up I"ll have links in the description below

and if you use the links it really helps out the channel.

I suggest you check them out cause the beats X routinely go on sale.

First up I want to talk about the unboxing experience of the Bullets wireless, it lets

you know right off the bat that you just bought something nice.

And you don't really see this level of attention to detail on sub $100 ear phones, or even

some 2 or 3 hundred dollar headphones for that matter.

Inside the box you'll find your ear phones, a silicon carrying case which is pretty similar

to what comes included with the Beats X, and you get your USB A to USB C cable for charging.

And you also get a total of 3 pairs of ear fins and ear tips so you can customize your

fit.

Overall everything that comes included with the Beats X come included with the Bullets

Wireless.

Design and build quality wise… the Bullets Wireless are very similar to the Beats X.

They're both designed to rest on your neck, the ear buds both magnetically attach to one

another when you're not using them, and the majority of their bodies are covered in

a soft touch rubber material.

But there are some design choices where One Plus obviously did to save a bit of money,

and thats with the wire that connects the neck band with the ear buds and the inline

controller.

The inline controller on the Beats X feels much more premium than the inline controller

on the Bullets.

It has much better tactile feed back and since the controller is slightly larger its also

slightly easier to use.

But the flat wire used on the Beats X also feels much sturdier than the thinner round

wire used on the Bullets.

Im just a little worried that the wires on the Bullets will ware out faster or could

possibly snap if the ear buds were to snag on a coat while you took it off.

Even though these two ear phone share very similar designs, there are some key technical

difference between these two ear phones.

First up, the Bullets wireless is using bluetooth 4.1 and for the most part their wireless connection

is very sturdy and theres very little latency, so I would recommend these earphones for watching

videos.

The Bullets wireless also have an 8 hour battery life and charge via a USB C port.

And the Bullets wireless also feature slightly improved fast charging over the beats X.

If you plug them in for 10 minutes from a dead battery they will get you 5 hours of

play time.

Where as with the beats X if you plug them in for 5 minutes from a dead battery they

will get you 2 hours of playback time.

And instead of a USB C port, the beats X uses apple's lighting cable.

But the biggest difference between the beats X and the Bullets wireless is that the Beats

X is using Apple's W1 chip.

Yes the Beats X plays nice with android devices but any devices that have Apple's W1 chip

works best with other Apple Devices.

Aside from being able to easily and seamlessly pair up to either of your apple deices associated

to your iCloud account, I've found that one of the best things about the W1 chip is

just how little latency there actually is when watching videos.

For someone like me who watches a lot of videos on my phone and uses a lot of headphones and

speakers low latency is very important for me.

Or else its just takes away from the view experience.

Sound Quality wise, the bullets wireless just sound good.

The bass doesn't bottom and theres no tinning in the highs.

They get more than loud enough… even too loud and theres very little distortion.

Now the sound stage on these earphones could be better but remember these are 70 bucks

so they're good enough for casual listening.

But since the Bullets wireless have a flat sound signature the bass doesn't over power

the music like the Beats X does.

But perhaps the coolest thing about the bullets wireless is this that the beats X cant do

is this… when you magnetically attach the ear buds to one another the Bullets wireless

will automatically pause your music and go into standby mode.

And they disconnect from your phone as well.

And when you separate the buds again the Bullets will power back up and re connect with your

phone.

And I really like this feature cause it saves on battery life and if you're not using

them they're not going to show up on your bluetooth list.

But overall, like I said at the beginning of this video…

OnePlus has made a very good first impression on me.

Their new Bullets Wireless earphones exceeded all of my expectations for Sub $100 wireless

earbuds.

They're build quality is good except I would be careful with the lose wires.

They have a solid wireless connection and very little latency which is one of the biggest

things cheaper wireless earphones tend to mess up on.

And they sound decent enough.

But personally I really like how they automatically go into standby mode when the buds magnetically

connect.

Its such an apple like feature that im amazed the beats X doesn't do them themselves.

their ice creams, so I'm gonna do chocolate this week. And it's starting

It's been a few weeks since I've had any Slim Twin. I've been all up in Killer

Whey's business the last few weeks, but I want to get back to Slim Twin, because

they're pretty, pretty good, at least the flavors I've had so far, particularly

cardamom. So if you've been here before, you'll know that I break my reviews down

into three parts. Three and a half, maybe four parts, nowadays? I talk about the

texture first. How's it feel coming out of the pint? How's it feeling this thing?

I talk about the flavor. Do I like it? And I talk about the carbs. And the third and

a half... fourth section is the ingredients. I've taken to giving a rundown of the

ingredients in each of these pints as well. So let's get into it.

Slim Twin, of course, has the cool, more sturdy lid. Oh. This has been out of

my...Wow. This has been on my freezer for about a half an hour. My freezer must've

been really set colder, because look at that. That's uh...

Yikes. This could be operator error, here, you guys. Let's see how this...how this

goes. That's not it's not what I expected to see when I opened it up. But

you know, it's coming out okay. This is gonna be a frosty first bite. Not

at all bad.

Texture is pretty good. I'm gonna give this pint the benefit of the doubt,

because yeah, look. It's... it's been frozen solid, I think, for a while. It's

been in my freezer for a bit -- for like, at least a few weeks. And I feel like it's

probably been right next to the... right next to the fan, or something. But we'll

power through. I'll find a way to power through this review. The taste is pretty

good. It is about what you'd expect. I can't really speak to the texture. To be

fair, like this is just...kind of hard and frosty. But I think that's my fault.

I like it. The taste is... not incredibly chocolatey, but also not weak.

That bite, though? I was gonna say it's a little middle-of-the-road, but that... I got

a good... good dose of it -- of the chocolate, there. I think that if I were to let this sit

out for another half hour or so, I might get a better idea, because yeah. You can

see, it's just sort of sort of chunky and hard, still.

But I don't mind the taste one bit. It's what you expect from a chocolate ice

cream. It tastes like chocolate. It's not crazy indulgent. It's also not... it's not

whispery. It's... it's not... you know, I'm not struggling to taste the chocolate. It's

kind of fudgey. I don't mind it. Let's get to the nutrition and the carbs. Serving

size: one half cup. Four servings per container, as usual. 70 calories, total fat

1.5 grams, saturated fat one gram, six grams of protein, total carbs: 11 grams,

dietary fiber: 4, and sugar alcohol: 3. So that gets us down to... what? 4 grams of net

carbs per serving? 16 grams of carbs per pint. That is righteous. I'm happy to see

Slim Twin keeping things in the keto range. Like, my old friends Halo Top have

really, in my opinion, kind of dropped the ball recently. I used to be a big fan of

Halo Top's lemon flavor, but I noticed that they upped the calories and carbs in

that one. It's nice to see ice creams that are fewer than 20 carbs per pint.

Let me just read you the ingredients, here. We have nonfat milk, egg yolk, milk

protein concentrate, cocoa powder processed with alkali, erythritol, solullhr...

or soluble tapioca fiber, cream, cane sugar, hmm. Vanilla extract, locust bean

gum, monk fruit extract. Allergy warning: contains milk and egg. Well, it's a bummer

about the cane sugar However, there's an asterisk next to it, and next to most of

these ingredients. I don't know if you... you probably can't read that there,

because it won't focus. But it says the asterisk means organic. So... organic cane

sugar is still cane sugar. But you know? You could do much worse than Slim Twin.

Not too bad at all, outside of that cane sugar. Yeah, I will

recommend this stuff, because of the carbs, and because it's got a nice fudgey

taste, and your pint will probably look better than that, particularly if you

keep it away from the fan in your freezer. One more bite. Lemme get some of this

gooey stuff down here. The stuff around the sides has been melting. Look at how

fudgey that is. Yeah, pretty good, you guys. Can't come close to cardamom. These guys...

If these guys put out garbage flavors... the other flavors that have yet to taste,

I will still adore them, because of cardamom. So that's chocolate. If you guys

but in the movie, he just brags and says, "You're welcome!"

Islanders believe in balance - the purpose of Hina.

Without her cooperation, Maui has no power.

SARIS SUPERCLMAP Ex 2 Review: BEST hitch rack - Duration: 6:45.

Morning Trainiacs, solid hour spent

writing the triathlon training guide book.

Hmm hmm, you know what,

stick around at the end of the video

I will tell you about something that I'm working on

about how you can be involved in getting said

triathlon training book for free.

But that's later.

Right now, what I want do,

is actually walk you through the Saris Superclamp Bike Rack.

Now if this rain would just end and

I could pretty myself up a little,

we'll get to that.

(upbeat electronic music)

Alright so after, I don't know,

lets call it two months of carting around the wheelers

with the old Saris Superclamp to bike,

lets talk about how this thing handles.

So for starters, I will say yes this would be

hashtag an ad because technically

they gave this to me and Saris and I have some

business dealings with the Cyclops and the discounts

for the Team Trainiacs so I think technically

according to the FCC, hashtag ad.

All that said, none of what I'm about to say

has been supplied to me from Saris, Cyclops, PowerTap,

that whole family of products.

It's all, you're getting the real deal from up here.

So this up here is what I used to cart the bikes around in.

The front and rear wheels would get strapped down,

apparently not anymore cause they're all gone.

And then, this thing here would clamp really hard

onto the downtube.

Now Ryan from Saris has been watching the videos for a while

and when the Ventum came he's like

A, Taren you don't have a downtube to clamp onto

and B, you won't wanna be clamping down

that hard onto carbon.

When you're dealing with a real high-end carbon bike

and all of a sudden you're putting all kinds of pressure

on that carbon, bad things happen.

So he sent this out and we'll talk about what

the premise is that makes it better.

Alright so the better thing about this

as apposed to the roof rack is that

instead of having to clamp down on a carbon frame,

instead what you do is you place the bike

into the trays for the wheels right here and here

which you can adjust forward and back

so that whatever wheel base you have

it'll fit in there nicely.

Then you take these straps, strap the bike down

so it's not gonna fly out anywhere

and then instead of clamping down onto the frame

which is hard which is rigid which can crack

you take these arms and you place them overtop of the wheels

and you take these little hooks,

bring it down, press it on top of the wheels

so instead of clamping down onto that hard rigid frame

you're clamping down onto the nice soft wheels

so that there's a little bit of give in there

and you're not placing too much pressure

on very expensive bike frame.

I mean addition to that this whole thing is nice and low

for the height-challenged among us.

Getting things on top of the vehicle,

very difficult. NTK can't even put a bike up there.

However this, you just walk up and you just

I mean, you guys know how to lift things.

Super easy, very convenient.

The one downside of that is that

if you get the order of trunk this

all wrong depending on your vehicle

you might, like I did on the weekend,

put your bike in and then have to close the trunk

and be like, oh forgot about that.

But if you just think a little bit sharper than I did,

after the race on the weekend uh

you're gonna be just fine.

Now there's not a whole lot that's really special to this.

I mean it's a very basic design but it's easy to use.

I mean the tray is here, they move back and forth,

everything adjusts really easily,

nothing is a pain and you can see just with one hand

here boom boom boom boom, everything is simple

and easy to use, and frankly that makes this review

pretty short and it's short because really the gist of it is

it does what it's supposed to do.

It's easy to put in, one bike,

if you flip around the next bike

so that the handles for the first bike are here

and the next bike are there, or vice versa,

fit two bikes very comfortably there's not a lot of like

wiggling around, it's just designed well

and if you want to put two bikes on a vehicle

it's a good way to do it.

Now a few obvious points with the nuts and bolts,

costs about 470 dollars US but

if you don't have a trailer hitch you might have to

invest in a 200 dollar or so trailer hitch

to put this on to the back.

The trailer hitch insertion point,

it goes in and it's got a lock on it

so you can take the key out and nobody can actually

come and take this because it's locked in

with that nice cotter pin.

Then to take this whole thing off

you just slide it off, easy peas.

Now the last thing is that it has

a 4.7 out of five star rating, as far as the world of

online retailing goes, that's pretty good, makes sense.

So there ya go, that is the review

of the Saris Superclamp EX two bike.

If you're looking for a way to put two bikes on your vehicle

highly recommend it.

Like the people at Saris, they're very good

with their warranty, they're just very good folk

and they make good product.

Now, on to what I was doing this morning with the books.

So, for about an hour, maybe four or five times a week,

I'll come in here early morning

and I'm starting to write a book about all of the things

that I put out on the channel.

good morning thanks for coming back to my channel I am reviewing these Sole footbeds

today so this is the sport medium sole foot bed these fit men and women

depends on the size of your feet so this particular set that I've got is for

size eight and a half to ten us in men or for women it's nine and a half to

eleven the u.s. these are a unisex product it's just really about your feet

so they come on this board they come out really easy pretty basic packaging it

just comes out and you know there's one piece of card there so that's really

nice to see that minimize the amount of packaging that's good for the

environment the packaging is all recyclable it says here the products

itself is pretty good I'm just looking at it it's it's a bendy toe there so

when that's on the floor and you're walking there's a bit of give there a

bit of movement for your toe whereas at the back here pretty solid there's a lot

of support in that heel you can see how thick that is there you go and this is

very very nicely curved at the back where your heel is gonna sit and this is

gonna offer our arch support across here you're gonna have all of this arch

support here they come as a pair this is what they look like it says if you're

unsatisfied with these for any reason you can take him back to the point of

purchase within 90 days for a refund their custom foot beds they feature an

orthopedic base layer that molds into your foot it doesn't matter it will mold

to the uniqueness of your foot it doesn't lose its supportive shape and

it's got a real deep heel cup here and he's got the custom arch support so the

idea is you take out the regular insoles from the trainers you've got you replace

them with these and this should offer you a lot more support I'm about to take

part in the Florence Nightingale midnight walk which is an overnight walk

of about I think it's 10 or 13 miles I can't remember which distance I've

entered but I'm going to be walking and I'm going to be using these and I'm

gonna give you my feedback on how these work

Three miles in and these Sole footbeds are doing

all right when I first put them on I could feel like the middle of the soul

touching the underside of my foot in the arch area which I'm not used to feeling

on my usual trainers so it felt a bit strange at first but I've actually got

used to it it's not a problem at all I'm not gonna feel that they're really

supporting my feet so it's going well so far

well the footbeds went really well on the midnight walk and I

was wearing them in conjunction with these 1,000 mile twin skin socks today

I'm going out with these hilly mono skin stops to see if that makes any

difference

partway through this plogging session then it's a beautiful day absolutely loving

the weather out here this evening but the footbeds doing ever so well and no pain

at all or nothing like that after the walk they seem to be really comfortable

today and I'm really finding them to be useful
