Film Review #24 (2018) - "Ocean's 8" - Duration: 3:57.

been planned since the beginning of this year. That's right – my next short, called

"Agony", is currently in film production, so make sure to keep yourself updated on

the Facebook page for more details. After an 11-year hiatus of Steven Soderbergh's

'Ocean's Trilogy', which starred George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon, it's

time for director Gary Ross and actress Sandra Bullock to shine on a newer

iteration – but can this sequel spin-off pull off its heist as well as its

predecessors? Here's my review of the comedy heist film, "Ocean's 8".

"Ocean's 8" is an action crime comedy, a sequel spin-off to the 'Ocean's Trilogy',

written and directed by Gary Ross, and starring actress Sandra Bullock as Debbie

Ocean, a professional thief and sister to actor George Clooney's Danny Ocean,

whom after being released from prison goes back in to planning a revenge heist

at New York City's yearly Met Gala by gathering an all-female crew.  This new

entry is more light-hearted and less suspenseful than its predecessors,

where the stakes are unquestionably low and the film's flair flails by comparison.

However, the smooth, slick sophistication that this all-female team brings are their

first-world problems, as they all hang out and prepare for the heist, that gives their

characters substance and insightful confidence in acquiring the Touissant, a

$150 million dollar Cartier necklace, with style. Sandra Bullock drives this

character-driven story with the agenda for personal vendetta against Richard

Armitage as art dealer Claude Becker for putting her in jail in the first place, but she

handles the process of gathering everything she needs and does for her

plans with a cool and calculated demeanor. Cate Blanchett's Lou, Debbie's

partner-in-crime, motorcycles her directness with a tomboy-ish daredevil

persona and yet reluctant charm, while Anne Hathaway's Daphne Kluger, the

manipulated air-headed actress and eventual eighth thief for the post heist,

takes advantage of her dim-witted situation to join in on the fun, glamor,

and possible friendships. Mindy Kaling as Amita, Sarah Paulson as Tammy,

Awkwafina as Constance, Helena Bonham Carter as Rose Weil, and Rihanna

as Name Ball rounds out the crew – each with a specific skill set of tools and

personality quirks that have their own control to journey, challenge, overcome,

and take what they want, as they make the impossible look easy.  Aside from its

main cast, James Corden briefly portrays insurance fraud investigator John Frazier,

who is basically lured to catching Becker with planted evidence, and Elliott Gould

and Shaobo Qin reprise their roles from the previous films as Reuben Tishkoff

and "The Amazing" Yen, respectively, whom are almost unrecognizable

variables at first, but eventually become unexpected cameo surprises. Lastly,

writer and director Gary Ross manages to transform some new appeal in this newer

iteration by gathering roles that don't typically affiliate with themselves as a

heist crew, but they work together to acknowledge their faults and hopes

while manipulating the modern world of fashion and celebrity culture. In the end,

while "Ocean's 8" may not be as riveting when aligning between the plot and

gimmicks of the original 'Ocean's Trilogy', it is a fun and more focused film that

steals the spotlight – but this time with the perpetrators being easier on the eyes.

I give "Ocean's 8" 6.5 out of 10 stars.

Today, we are going to review the latest flagship from Gigabyte

The Gigabyte Aero 15X

This brand is not very well known for their gaming notebook

But, after some research,

Gigabyte actually produced quite an interesting lineup

Aero 15X is one that caught our attention

a high-end laptop that is lightweight and portable

but, they don't sacrifice perfomance, comparable to many other brands

This laptop suits very well for creator professionals

or gamers, who like to travel a lot

This laptop body is built from metal

while many parts are combined with polycarbonate, like parts surrounding the screen

Because of its metal body, the build quality on this laptop is superb

It will last you for quite some time

With its thickness that is less than 2 cm

and its weight, only at 2 kg

In my opinion,

this laptop surely puts itself

as one of the best form factor notebook

and including in design, as well.

This laptop also provide a set of ports that is pretty good

On the left side, there is an Ethernet port

one USB 3.0 port,

HDMI 2.0 port,

and one Mini Display Port 1.4

On the right side, there is a Kensington Lock

charging port, two USB 3.0,

one Thunderbolt 3 port, and SD card slot.

This SD card slot,

is quite unique, because it supports UHS-II SD card

so, if you are one of those creators who are looking for that feature,

this laptop would give you incredible write speed tranfers

This year Aero lineup,

every year always bring a signature feature to their laptop

This year, they bring a near bezel-less display

with just 5 mm

this gives the laptop a very modern look to it

This iteration of Aero also offer two display options,

either you pick the Full HD with 144 Hz refresh rate

or you could pick the 4K resolution with better color reproductions

With this 144 Hz panel,

it will give you 94 percent sRGB accuracy

and 60 percent Adobe RGB

while the 4K panel could give you 100 percent Adobe RGB

so, if you are those people who crave for a super accurate color reproduction,

you could go with the 4K panel option

Aero 15X display is also certified

with x-rite Pantone Display

which means, this notebook display

is pre-calibrated right from the factory

so when it landed on your hand, you don't need to calibrate it again!

This laptop is equipped with i7 8750H

a six core processor, so it could handle any workload.

It also has NVIDIA 1070 Max-Q with 8 GB VRAM

a 16 GB single stick RAM DDR4, with one extra slot for future upgrade

a 15.6 inch display,

with IPS panel technology

For storage, there is 512 GB

SSD NVME with M.2 size, and there another extra M.2 slot as well

The battery on this notebook

is using a 94 Wh battery

and it gives you more or less 6 hours of mixed usage

The laptop charger draws around 180 watts

which is not a big draw from the outlet.

Aero 15X cooling consists of two fans,

and two heat pipes, with software support for adjusting fan speed

So, this laptop still run cools, even on heavy workload

Let's talk about the keyboard

Keyboard on this notebook feels tactile

So, it is very comfortable to type on

But, the keyboard layout is quite different

because Gigabyte decide to add a number pad to their keyboard

for productivity reasons

If you try to use it for a week or two,

you could get used to it in no time

This keyboard also support N-key rollover

and per-key RGB lighting

so, it could look amazing in any scenario

The audio on this notebook

is actually pretty good

From the sound quality,

to its loudness, not bad at all

not the best, but still very good nonetheless

What is interesting about their audio setup,

the speakers on this notebook

is already Dolby Atmos certified

so, your audio experience will definitely be better

This is the sound test

for the audio for this notebook

Because of the thin bezel on the display,

Gigabyte have to move their webcam to the bottom

which, I don't really like

it makes your face looks small, and your finger

could block the camera

The touchpad on this notebook

have a very nice texture to it

It feels like glass

But, their touch driver is not using Windows Precision driver

Instead, they opted for ELAN driver

the experience when using the gestures are not comparable

if you compare to Windows Precision drivers

This Aero also included with Smart Manager application

so what does this app do?

This Smart Manager provide all customization inside this notebook

like battery charging policy,

x-rite Pantone color,

or if you want to customize the fan speed, you can do that here

so far, we have talked about the features of this notebook

Now, let's take a look at its performance score

In conclusion,

the pros of this laptop are

its slim and lightweight profile,

great build quality,

it also gives a very good performance as well,

good temperature management,

it provides a comfortable keyboard

with RGB lighting as a bonus,

It has a color accurate display

with 144 Hz refresh rate,

a set of complete port, including the UHS-II support

audio speakers with Dolby Atmos

and at a price range that is worth the value

compared to other brands in Indonesia

and it also packs a big battery capacity!

But, it also have some weaknesses

like its touchpad that uses ELAN driver,

and the poor located webcam

Looking back at these factors,

is this laptop a good buy?

if this laptop is within your budget

and high-end laptop is what you aim for

this is one of the best choice to buy

with its price ranging around 34 million (US $ 2370)

you will get a set of great specs

and a good designed notebook, as well

Even I would pick this as my daily driver

if I have the budget to buy

2013-2014 Mustang GT500 VMP Dual Fan Triple Pass Heat Exchanger Review - Duration: 4:37.

If you're the owner of a 2007 to '14 Shelby GT500 or a 2005 to 2017 GT with a positive

displacement blower, well, then you know heat can be an issue.

Luckily, VMP has their Triple Pass Heat Exchanger and dual fan setup to help keep those intake

air temps down and consistent performance up.

Now, the kit from VMP will include the plug and play heat exchanger and fan setup for

right around 800 bucks, while the install will vary depending on the car it's going

into.

But let's go middle of the road two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter here

with a little bit more on that later in the video.

So, first and foremost guys, it is important to point out that this kit will work with

a number of positive displacement blowers out there including of course the TVS, a Whipple,

Kenne Bell, Magnuson, and Edelbrock.

Now, in addition to that, this will also work with the factory S197 GT500s as well, as we

did point out earlier.

So, this kit really will appeal to a large group of blown S197 and S50 owners out there.

And with all that said, the big appeal here with this kit is heat.

Listen, positive displacement blowers make a lot of heat and, as we all know, one of

the biggest enemies of performance is heat and heat soak.

So, VMP recognized this and wanted to come out with a solution for both the older S197

and S550 owners out there who have battled increasingly high IAT temps during warm months

and spirited use whether be on the road or at the truck.

In fact, it is pretty cool to point out that development for this product was done using

a Supercharged Boss 302 on a road course [SP].

So, if it can keep that car cool on a hot lap session, then, it can certainly benefit

you in your road car.

Now, the solution, in this case, was to come up with the triple pass heat exchanger.

And what is does that mean?

Well, simply put, the coolant is gonna pass through the exchanger three different times

in an S shape pattern, allowing for more time and surface area for the air to pass over

the exchanger, allowing for better heat dissipation in the end, especially when compared to other

single or double pass units out there.

Now, VMP also relocated the intercooler pump out of the grille and out of the way of the

heat exchanger to allow more flow into the core itself.

But let's talk about this core a little bit more here because it is absolutely massive,

13-inches tall and about 3-inches thick to be exact, the biggest currently in the category

complete with the TIG-welded end [SP] tanks, giving you a very well-made piece.

But in addition to one that will be very efficient, you're also get some increased capacity here

as well.

Now, helping with the low-speed efficiency, will be the included dual 11-inch electric

fans that are gonna do a great job of keeping air moving over the core itself, but in low

speed or stop type situation.

So, you're stuck in traffic, sitting at a red light or even waiting in the staging lanes

to make another pass, this will help keep those IET temps a little bit further.

But making this package even more attractive to prospective buyers out there is the plug

and play aspect of the heat exchanger.

Meaning, it's essentially gonna be a turnkey solution that drops into place for most owners

and doesn't require any cutting or splicing of any wires.

Now, depending on the year of your car, some people might require some little bit of modification

to fit this monster into place, such as the '11 to '12 5-liter car and even the '07 to

'10 Shelby as there is some slight modification there.

But nothing crazy, just moving around the radiator side shield a little bit or maybe

the power steering cooler ever so slightly to get this into place.

Now, because of the varying level of difficulty depending on your model Mustang, it's a safe

bet to just call this a two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter here and maybe a couple

of hours from start to finish.

Of course, you gonna wanna have something on hand to catch any spillage when it comes

to swapping heat exchangers, in addition to some fresh coolant to fill everything up with.

It's probably not a bad idea to use this opportunity to do a complete coolant flush if you haven't

done so in a while, but that is entirely up to you.

But wrapping this one up guys, if you're looking to maintain consistent performance through

lower intake air temperatures, using VMP's Triple Pass Heat Exchanger along with their

Yuri!!! on Ice Anime Review | Why this anime is good. - Duration: 5:23.

hey guys it's cameron from anime chat reviews today I'm gonna be reviewing

Yuri on ice I hope you enjoy have you ever watched figure skating and thought

to yourself you know what this needs a little more guy love no that's just me

well that's what you're provided for me despite its very misleading title Yuri

on ice is actually a closer to being yaoi than it is Yuri to find out what I

mean I suggest you watch the rest of this

this anime confused me a little with its title the name Yuri on ice implied a

very different anime to the one that I watched I almost didn't watch it because

of the name alone until I was strongly recommended by my wife to do so with

that recommendation I decided to sit down and watch it then. The plot itself is

centered around a figure skater from Japan named Yuri he is an excellent

skater but can't handle the pressure of competition skating so after he made it

to the finals in his last major competition and failed to win he

returned home to contemplate his future as a skater after a video of him

perfectly replicating a routine done exclusively by five time world champion

winner victor nikiforov off goes viral victor himself shows up at his house

offering to be his coach for the next world grand pri being Victor's biggest

fan Yuri accepts and their adventure begins I haven't seen any figure skating

anime before so this was new to me and I don't normally watch sports anime but

this one did suck me in with its music and animation

as I said I don't normally watch sport anime but the humor throughout this anime kept me watching

as well as the tension from the competitions the plot starts off by

introducing most of the main characters before getting to the pre-tournament

preparation at no point did I feel like the plot was moving too slowly if

anything I felt the last few episodes went a little too quickly and I feel

that they could have dwelled on some of the bits a little bit longer but overall

the anime focuses on Yuri and Victor's relationship as coach and student and

how it all progresses

well obviously we have our main character Yuri

he's a 23 year old Japanese skater he hasn't won any World titles but he has

made it to finals before he struggles to work through the pressure of his

competitions and his love for pork cutlet bowls but this doesn't help his

chances for winning as it makes him put on weight he is however a good underdog

character that has the potential to make a comeback but also still makes mistakes

giving a sense of suspense on whether he will win in the end or not our other

main character is victor nikiforov off he's a 5 times world champion who takes a

break from his skating career to coach Yuri Victor if you couldn't tell by his

name is Russian he is very light-hearted about everything which is the complete

opposite to Yuri making them a good contrast however he does have his

serious moments mostly when he is internally trying to think of the

best way to help yuri with his anxiety and how to best be a good coach there

are many other skaters that yuri gets to know along his journey all of which

have different personalities the test yuri and his want to win gold

for me the animation is the absolute highlight of this anime the way they show the figure

skating is so beautifully done they transition from hand-drawn panels to 3d

models seamlessly with only a few moments in the series that this is done

I actually didn't notice straightaway that they had used 3d models until I

realized the movements they were doing the way the camera follows the

characters as they skate tracks them like a camera from the sidelines would

there was so much effort put into each frame not just for the skating but for

the regular parts as well the backgrounds are detailed and the

character designs are so perfectly done to accentuate the physique of a figure

skater all of this together gives the amazing quality of an anime movie in a

12 episode series

the opening to this anime is one of the best openings I have

had the pleasure of listening to and watching the way the beat perfectly

matches the skating in the visuals as well as the way it amps up the intensity

of the song starting off slow then picking up just gets you motivated for

the episode the closing has an Instagram style feed for the visuals which matches

perfectly to the poppy upbeat song everything about this soundtrack from

the music used for the skates to the sound effects used for the skates

leaving and hitting the ice works perfectly this anime is a visual

masterpiece with the actual opening being done in two weeks but with how

beautiful it looks just goes to show how much effort was put into this anime so

much so that each routine done in the anime by the skaters was choreographed

by actual figure skaters so that the anime would be as accurate as possible

so overall I'm giving this anime an S rank.

I absolutely loved watching this anime even though it had its little subtle bits of guy love in there even if you're

not into that sort of anime I would strongly recommend you watch this just

because the visuals the story and the soundtrack are all spectacular.

ACLU's statement at the Civilian Review Board Meeting - Duration: 3:16.

As you can tell the ACLU is extremely concerned that the city's actions are

undermining rather than strengthening the CRB's ability to provide Baltimore

residents with transparency and accountability that the residents

clearly want and which has been stressed as a key change by the Department of

Justice and the civilian oversight task force as well as the advocacy community.

We must be the vigilant this body, the voting members especially must be

vigilant in protecting against the law departments impulse to protect the

police and the city from the consequences of police abuse. First the

city solicitor's office is defying settled case law by claiming that the

civilian review board's ability to obtain records is determined by the

public records law or MPIA, the Maryland Public Information Act, instead of its

statutory authority. This would mean that the CRB cannot access police records any

more than anybody else in this room which means that we can't get most records.

The statue that created the CRB gives us subpoena power and access to records

because we need more access than the general public to do our job.

What's worse is the law department is attempting to severely limit our ability

to communicate with the public including the individuals who have filed

complaints with the CRB. These changes have almost entirely erased the small

amount of transparency that we're currently permitted to use. So the board

members are getting even less information and then we're being told

that we can give even less information to the public. Some of the specific

things that I have read in the notes of the meetings that you guys have had with

a law department is that the CRB is not allowed to speak directly to the DOJ

that agendas must be approved by the city solicitor's office before we

release them that findings letters cannot be sent to the complainant even

if they're redacted that body more camera footage will be redacted and

provided to the CRB which is what I get at the ACLU all the time you guys get no

more than anybody else and that subpoena for the IAD casebooks will be considered

under the MPIA we have subpoena power because we don't have to so this clearly

is unacceptable these changes are going in the exact opposite direction.

At time when everyone except the police department wants us to be moving in the

more oversight, this is going in the wrong direction and we should have

learned a lot from the deaths of Freddie Gray, Tyrone West the Gun Trace Task

force the death of Detective Suiter all of these cases that we have discussed

the victims who have come here and spoke to us and the government the city

government should be empowering the CRB to help us not restricting and silence

us so what I want us to do maybe not today is talk about what formal requests
