News on Youtube Sep 26 2017

So today I'm excited to show you the brand new Chicco Nextfit IX Zip.

So they did make some improvements off the last model and we're going to show you what

those are.

But first a car seat is a safety device.

This is designed to keep your child safe in a car accident so first I'm going to go over

those safety features that they have in the Nextfit.

So they do get excellent ratings for convenience features but also for safety ratings which

is awesome.

So first they have steel reinforced frame and those are going to run down the frame

of the car seat and forcing it so that its substantial in the event of a car accident.

Now they also lined the inside of the frame with EPS foam.

EPS foam is designed to absorb the energy in the event of a car accident and kind of

break absorbing that energy.

So that is an awesome feature as well.

Lastly the last safety feature thats awesome is the fact that it's easy to install.

Now upwards of 90% of car seats are actually installed incorrectly and that makes those

safety features basically invalid.

Like you're not utilizing those features if your not installing it correctly.

So they've integrated a SuperCinch installation system in here that I'll show you a little

bit about how that works but because it's easy to install makes it that much safer.

So this car seat has a pretty good weight range.

You can start using it as little as 5 lbs.

So you can bring your baby home from the hospital in this seat.

Now rear facing you can go up to 40 lbs which is pretty average for rear facing weight capacity

and then forward facing you can start using at 22 lbs up to 65lbs.

Now 22 lbs is a minimum not recommended.

You want to keep your child rear facing as long as possible reaching those limits of

the seat.

Whether that be the weight limit or the height limit.

And the reason for that is in the event of a car accident if they were riding rear facing

then their neck and spine are completely supported by the back of the seat and that's going to

reduce the chance of a head or neck injury and obviously that's the most important.

Now the great thing about this car seat is it is packed full of conveniences for parents.

Now the first one is installation now like I mentioned before if your car seat is installed

correctly it makes it exceptionally safer.

So we like that they made it easy and they did that through their SuperCinch technology

and thats integrated in the latch system.

Now as you can see this latch had this cool little storage and I love that, so if you're

not using it, its tucked out of the way and it's not getting in the way of other installation

but then it's also integrated.

So you would do rear facing here and just move it up this track to move it into the

forward facing belt path.

And I love that cause there is no confusion its not going to twist the wrong direction

and this just makes sure it's going to be installed correctly.

Now the SuperCinch is cool.

You're going to click in both of your latches.

So its even labeled with which part to pull first so this one said pull first and you're

just going to pull that in the same direction as the webbing and then once you get over

to the second side its labeled with pull 2nd and you're just going to pull that straight

out which is not typical for latch or seat belt.

Typically you want to go in the same direction but this one is actually really easy to pull

and get a solid installation.

So I love those features just to make installation easy every time.

They also added a feature to make it easy to install using the seat belt.

Now one thing to know the latch system and all latch systems out there typically have

a weight capacity of about 65lbs.

So with this one you have to stop using it once your child reaches about 40 lbs or typically

when you go forward facing then you need to start installing using the seat belt.

Now you're going to do that by using this belt path here for forward facing and then

for rear facing you're going to use it right down here.

So you're going to feed your seat belt through there but you need to lock it into place.

Now you can use the re-tractor in your car which is typically what most people do unless

you have a lock off in the car seat.

So with this one it's the lock sure system and you're actually going to slide your seat

belt up through here locking it into place.

Super easy!

Now this was an improvement with the IX over the last model and I do love that cause it's

easier to engage.

They also integrated 9 recline positions and they're easily adjusted here on the front.

Now I prefer my adjuster on the front, cause typically when you're rear facing you don't

need to change the level and that is it would be exposed in the back for rear facing.

It when they're forward facing that I want to play with it.

I want them to seat upright when we're going around town and then when we go on a road

trip I'd like to be able to recline it so they can nap.

Now typically when you do that you will have to loosen your straps and reinstall but it's

easier cause you don't have to take it out all the way.

So I do like that it's in the front.

Just something to consider.

So they have these 9 recline positions here and then they also have an easy to read bubble

level indicator.

And it's clearly going to show for rear facing you just need to have it in this blue section

right here and then forward facing in this red section.

So it makes it super easy to see if the recline is appropriate for your child.

Now they added a lot of conveniences for harnessing which I love.

So first it has 9 headrest positions now this is new to the IX it's also easier to engage

which I love.

So you just squeeze on this orange and lift.

Often times when you're doing this integrated headrest it kinda gets stuck.

But this one is super smooth and easy to engage.

I love that!

But then also down here they have the exposed harness adjuster which is very easy.

This one they did something a little bit different I can't really tell the difference but it

is super easy to tighten.

When you're loosening it it's a little bit sticky, but tightening it is solid which is

so cool.

Now they also have a zip off cover.

Now this is only going to be in the zip version, so you can get a little bit cheaper version

without that zip feature but I honestly think it's worth it when you consider how long you're

going to be using this seat and every time you take off that cover to wash super easy

you're just going to zip it off and it's even machine washable.

You will have to line dry but that makes being a parent much less messy and we all know we

need that.

Now they also have these comfort flex cushions down here and that's designed to keep the

harness up after you uninstall your child so that next time you go to put them in you're

not loosing those straps underneath their bum and it just makes harnessing that much

easier.

Now the reason we do these videos is to help educate you so you can make the right buying

decisions for your new baby.

Now I am a CPS Certified Tech which stands for Child Passenger Safety Technician and

yes thats the same training that those fireman and police officers get.

So if you're local come on in and we can check out your installation in person we also have

a couple more CPS Techs here in the store but if you still have questions and you cant

come in then leave us a comment below or even send us an email at hello@babycubby.com we

love to answer those questions for you.

Now with this seat what's included.

Now you get this cool cup holder and this you can move from one side to the other depending

on where it's most convenient.

Usually compared to your door or which side you're installed on.

And it also comes with an infant insert and this you should use from 5 to 11 lbs.

Now once your child reaches 11 lbs you do need to take that insert out.

With the Chicco Nextfit it is a bit on the heavy side it's also a little bit bulky so

you're going to have trouble getting three car seats in a row if thats what you need,

so something to consider.

The things that we love about this car seat.

First of all costumer ratings are excellent, that means parents are happy with it after

they purchase which is a good indicator that it's a good car seat.

Also I love the recline I love how easy it is to use and how easy it is to read.

I love that you can just zip off this cover for easy cleaning and the machine wash-ability

and I love the latch system I do love that you have these storage compartments and that

it is integrated.

It just takes the guess work out of installation and that to me is always a plus.

So the Chicco Nextfit IX Zip retails for $349.99 or if you want that budget friendly version

without the zip feature that one is $299.

Now you can purchase those in store or online at babycubby.com where everything ships for

free and we even price match so it doesn't have to cost you more.

BATTLEFIELD 1: Model 1900 Factory REVIEW! - Better Than The Model 10-A Shotgun? - (BF1 Weapon Guide) - Duration: 6:11.

Hey everyone MapMover here, what's happening and welcome to another bf1 weapon review video,

but this video will be the first time I'm reviewing any of the in the name of the tsar

weapons and first to make the review list is the model

1900 factory available in the assault class.

The model 1900 factory is essentially a faster firing model 10-a factory, but not as accurate

over distance as the model 10-a hunter because the model 1900 factory doesn't come

with a choke like the hunter does, but if you like the close quarters action

of the model 10-a factory then you're going to LOVE the model 1900 factory and here's

why: The Model 1900 factory comes with 20 pellets

per shots fired, just like the model 10-a variants

It comes with the same damage per pellet of 8.4 up to 14 metres which is a total damage

potential of 168 if all your pellets land on target

It has a recoil reset value of 4.5 which is the same as the model 10 factory and which

are both faster at reverting back to aiming where you initially was before firing, than

the model 10-a hunter which has a value of 3

And they all have the exact same muzzle velocity of 333 metres per second

And by all I mean the model 1900 factory, the model 10 A factory and the model 10 a

hunter

But the model 1900 factory has a few tricks up its sleeve which sets it apart from the

model 10-a variants and I think these next few stats I'm going

to mention gives it such a huge advantage over both of the model 10-a variants that

I really think the model 1900 shotgun could end up being THE go-to shotgun for assault

players and here's what I'm talking about:

The model 1900 factory has a vertical recoil of 8, which is a lot lower than the model

10-a variants vertical recoil of 11 It comes with two fire modes, one single shot

and one where you fire both barrels almost simultaneously with one pull of the trigger

And were you to fire in single shot your rate of fire is a whopping 299 rounds per minute,

which is staggering compared to the model 10-a variants 78 rounds per minute

However there are some disadvantages which will force you to change your play-style a

little, but none that I feel which will take too long to get used to

First off you only have two rounds to fire before you need to reload

The reload time per shell is significantly higher than the model 10-a variants

And your horizontal recoil is higher than the model 10-a variants, personally it's not

a noticeable difference, but it's worth noting

In terms of my experience with the model 1900 factory here's what I recommend:

Cycle between the fire modes, if you think you're going to be playing in extreme close

quarters use that double barrel fire mode, but just keep in mind that if you miss you'll

be left with a super long reload If you're prone to missing your first shot

or your accuracy isn't on point - a bit like mine a lot of the time to be honest, then

you might be better off staying at single shot, because a single shot on target is enough

to take out an enemy at close quarters as long as enough pellets land on target and

if you do miss then you'll have that second shot to fall back on

As your long range potential will be limited due to you using a shotgun it might be worth

considering equipping a good long range side-arm like the obrez to extend your range at times

you're caught in the open And here's an interesting thing about the

model 1900 Factory - The reload times are flipped upside down

with the model 1900, because reloading when empty is faster than reloading when you still

have one round left in a barrel, but don't worry too much about firing off

both barrels just so you can get that fast reload

this is because you can still do a huge amount of damage with a single shot fired

also like I said earlier you don't need to worry as much about missing in single fire

mode and you only get a finite amount of ammo,

so going single fire and reloading after single shots will help you conserve ammo for longer

Finally: it's worth considering using your side-arm

first for distant enemies before finishing up with the model 1900

it's better to get into positions where your enemies are facing you head on instead of

being at side facing positions to reduce the chances of missing due to their random movements

and to allow the most amount of pellets to hit the target, because a side facing target

is a smaller target it's better to aim at the lower torso first

if you tend to find yourself using both rounds to finish an enemy as the high rate of fire

won't give you enough time to reset your recoil or instead you might want to consider pacing

your shots to get around this if you want to aim at the upper torso because if you don't

pace enough then your second shot could just go over your enemy's head

and there is still random shotgun deviation at play in the current build of battlefield

1, but if the changes that are currently being tested in CTE reach the base game, then shotguns

won't have that random deviation problem and from my cte gameplay experience with the

model 1900 factory that thing is very very good, definitely better than in the base game

So give this shotgun a go, use it now at least to get used to its pros and cons and hopefully

by the time the cte changes reach the base game, you should have an amazing shotgun to

use on your hands, one that you can understand better how to best take advantage of.

So that sums up this weapon review and with that all said, unfortunately that's all the

time in this video for this weapon review, but never fear more reviews are on the way!

UNBOXING & REVIEW GAMING MOUSE SADES MUSKET TERBAIK DI KELASNYA!! - Duration: 3:20.

Yo guys, like my promise in previous video

In this video i want to unboxing and review the latest gaming mouse from Sades

that is Sades Musket

So, let's unboxing guys!

Outside the box there are warranty card, and payment bill

Inside the box we will find the SADES musket and manual book.

For your information, Sades Musket have 5 color variations.

Here, i choose white color, because i like white.

That's all for unboxing, because not much to show

So, let's review from the appearance

I like the design of this mouse

Elegant, and as i needed

But the white part of this mouse is maded from glossy and not doff

And from the black variant maybe created by doff

This might make it easier for us to clean this mouse when it's dirty

The cable is created by a strong material to so its not to be easily interrupted

But, it's just a little rigid cable so a bit disturbing comfort if the laying is not appropriate.

Talking the mouse tightly closely with the comfort when we holding that mouse

There are 3 grips holding the mouse

namely fingertip, claw, and palm grip

With my hand size, this mouse is used with grip claw

Mouse is quite comfortable I use for daily activities and for playing games.

But, i think this mouse is a bit light

For those of you who like a heavy type mouse may be a bit less comfortable.

This mouse uses the Pixart A3050 sensor

and right & left click buttons are created with omron switches

thus providing high speed, accuracy and responsiveness

This mouse has a total of 7 buttons

on the scroll, 2 dpi, right and left click, and 2 additional buttons on the left side

Except for left click, other buttons can be programmed with musket software.

For the software can you download at sadas website or just just check the description in this video.

In the Sades Musket software we can program all buttons except left click.

Then we can set up the DPI

The weakness of this mouse is that the dpi setting starts with a multiple of 250

and start 2000 dpi multiples of 500

so it can not be arranged at all.

After that we can set the report rate

ie setting the frequency response between mouse and computer

So please specify the dpi and report rate that suits you

For me, i use dpi 2000 and report rate 1000.

Next you can also change the color of the LED as you wish.

But, there only 7 color available

not 16 million RGB colors like usual

We can select the desired color by selecting checkboxes on different permutations

Each stage of DPI can match the specific color you choose

Then on the advanced settings tab

you can set the mouse speed, scrolling speed and double click speed and set the macros.

Sades Musket are equipped with flash memory

so the 6 buttons that we have set earlier will not be set to the default settings when we move to another device.

Okay guys that was unboxing and review of this SADES Musket.

Overall with a price that is only two hundred thousands, I think this mouse is the best gaming mouse in its class.

I Hope my review useful for you who are looking for mouse gaming.

See you in the next video guys!

Maximus Edge Autobot Review - Expert Advisor App - Duration: 6:36.

Hi, Guys! FAYSAL from binaryoptionsdoctor.com and hope you guys are doing fine.

As you have seen my previous video that I was talking about an expert adviser

software that is called Maximus Edge Autobot. Most of the industry

leading blogs and traders are recommending this Maximus Edge Autobot

software and the website looks pretty decent. I would like to review more

about this Maximus Edge Autobot. What I like most is that there is no false

guarantees of earning millions or thousands in a day or something like

that. They don't show anything like that and

they don't guarantee something like that. There is no annoying browser pop-up

which appears frequently. Here you cannot see any browser pop-up which

shows that a few spots are left. There is also no testimonial videos

on their website like other fake testimonials they show on scam software

sites. So, it's a pretty decent looking software and it is actually an expert

adviser software signal service. Those who use EA that means Expert

Advisor to their META TRADER platform or any other platform have ideas about

the expert advisor indicators. Maximus Edge Autobot Authority says

that they use some indicators to create an algorithm that can predict

the market in 84 percent accuracy. So, that is pretty decent outcome & it is

achievable and this Maximus Edge Autobot was created

using these indicators. it is called RSI. Those who

does not have much idea about these indicators, I would like to discuss a bit

about these indicators. RSI means relative strength index and relative

strength index indicator can accurately predict the overbought or

oversold markets. So, you get a better idea when to sell your asset and when to

buy your asset. RSI indicates the overbought and oversold positions.

Then MACD indicator. MACD means moving average Convergence divergence. This

indicator predicts the strong trend and when a trend breakouts. It

can accurately predict the trend and trend breakouts. Then CCI indicator.

CCI means commodity channel index. It's is much like RSI indicator. It can

accurately predict the overbought and oversold condition of markets. And then

stochastic oscillator. That is called stochastic oscillator.

Stochastic oscillator can predict when to enter the market

and when to sell your stocks. It can predict the market very

accurately. Then you see Bollinger Bands. Bollinger Bands also shows

the entry levels, when you can get into a trades or what is the

best time to get into a trade and when is the best time to sell a trade. That

is called Bollinger Bands. So, these indicators are very powerful and I often

use many of them like RSI, stochastic. I have videos about RSI and stochastic

combined indicator, so you can watch it in my videos. Maximus Edge

Autobot is created by these indicators. So, Maximus Edge Autobot is using these

indicators and they made it an automated trading app. It is actually a

semi-automated trading software. It is not fully automated and this expert advisor

software delivers signals to their platform. Yeah, I think I am getting

some positive vibes in here and I don't see any scam ingredients on

on their site. I will definitely try this software

Stay tuned until my next videos are coming and stay safe. Don't get scammed!

Samsung Galaxy Note8 Review: All About That S-Pen - Duration: 6:38.

Hey there, Alex here.

This is the Galaxy Note8.

In a nutshell, it's a slightly bigger version of the S8 Plus with a stylus and a few differences.

If you already know the S8 Plus, you'll know that it's a pretty damn good phone.

So that makes buying the Note8 a no-brainer right?

Well, not exactly.

In a lot of ways, the Note8 is remarkably similar to the S8 Plus.

It's a similar design language just a little bit more squarish, and a little nicer to hold

in hand.

It has the new Infinity Display, that is once again the best display in the market bar none.

It's ever so slightly bigger than the S8 Plus at 6.3",

and it's still just as hard to reach the top of the screen.

But it's something I can easily forgive

since it makes multitasking on the phone really enjoyable.

Talking about hard to reach, the fingerprint sensor is still way up beside the cameras,

which is very annoying.

In the end I gave up and just used the iris scanner instead.

It's not nearly as quick or convenient,

but at least it still works relatively well most of the time.

Even while jogging I could get the phone unlocked with a bit of effort.

And while we're talking about the not so great stuff,

let's just talk about Bixby and get it over with.

First of all, the Bixby button is still here.

The good thing is you can now stop the button from launching Bixby Home when you accidentally

press it,

but a long press still activates Bixby Voice.

Oh yeah, since I've reviewed the S8,

Bixby Voice is now available.

I think it has a lot of potential especially when it comes to more complex tasks

like taking a screenshot and sharing it with a person through a particular app.

But like most voice assistants, it has its limitations,

and that's where most people would just give up when they reach it.

It's fun to play around with,

but just not something I find all that useful for now.

Moving on to the specifications, this is pretty much just the S8 Plus but with more RAM.

Performance wise, it actually feels a tiny bit snappier than the S8 Plus,

most likely thanks to better optimisations.

You still get those very minor inexplicable stutters and pauses every now and then,

just to remind you that this is still TouchWiz after all.

But other that that, performance is pretty much as you would expect from a flagship phone.

There is one area that bugs me a little though, and that's the 3,300mAh battery.

Just a quick reminder here, the S8 Plus has a 3,500mAh battery.

It's still gets me through a day of moderate use just fine, but it's not what I would

call great battery life.

Part of the reason for that reduced battery size, is probably this.

The S-Pen.

Some people love it, some people just don't care for it.

There are some unique S-Pen features, but if you really think about it,

most of them can be done on a phone without a stylus too.

Like the new Live Message feature for example,

which lets me create a short animation that I can send to anyone.

Or some of the older features like cropping a portion of the screen for a screenshot.

Remember the scroll capture feature that launched with the Note5?

That eventually made its way to the S series anyway.

So the main advantage of the S-Pen to me, is just for that finer point of input.

Either for taking notes, editing spreadsheets, playing games, or drawing.

If any of those are important to you,

then you'll probably love the S-Pen on the Note8.

Things like pulling out the S-Pen and being able to do

pages upon pages of notes without ever turning on the screen.

Or making these fun little doodles using Live Message for a more personalised touch.

These are pretty fun features to have.

The S-Pen also has a finer tip this year, and recognises up to 4,096 levels of pressure

like the Note7.

Which makes it pretty nice to draw on using Samsung's own ArtCanvas app.

It takes a bit of getting used to,

and it's still not quite as responsive as I would have liked.

But it's good enough for the occasional doodle to pass some time.

And really, other than these S-Pen specific features,

the software experience is pretty much the same as the S8 Plus.

It's not my favourite Android interface,

but I can't deny that Samsung has done a decent job.

The icon design and interface looks cohesive.

I also like that they give you the option to choose what Samsung apps you want when

you first setup the phone.

There are useful features like Always on display, a do not disturb mode for games,

more flexibility for split screen mode, and many many more.

It's not my favourite software experience,

but I think most folks would be really happy with it.

Then we move to the next big feature,

the dual 12MP cameras on the back of the phone.

One wide angle, the other a telephoto camera.

The slightly more unique thing about the cameras here are that they both have optical image

stabilisation,

which should improve video quality.

It does the usual 2x zoom like most other dual camera phones,

which means it has the same drawback of not being that useful in low light.

But I do like Samsung's Live Focus feature,

which not only creates a shallower depth of field, but also allow adjusting of the focus

after the shot.

It also captures using both cameras at the same time as a fall-back.

The effect still looks a little artificial if you push it a bit too far,

but it's one of the better implementations I've seen around.

But to me the most important thing is that the main camera

is able to capture great looking shots as you would expect from a Samsung flagship device.

It's pretty much just point and shoot in auto mode,

and you'll get good looking results no matter whether it's in good lighting or low light.

So I'm not going to talk too much about it, just know that it's really good.

The only thing that maybe I'm not a huge fan of is the front camera.

I just feel like the image processing is a little overboard in low light.

Overall the Note8 is a pretty amazing phone,

and probably one of the best Android phones that money can buy today.

It comes with almost everything that you would expect from a flagship phone in 2017,

and then some.

The hardware is top-notch, the design looks premium, it's water resistant,

and it still has a headphone jack.

It's just such a well-rounded package.

But this is actually not the phone that I would recommend to most people.

For me, the S8 Plus offers most of what the Note8 offers at a cheaper price.

Not to mention you get a slightly bigger battery.

The dual cameras are fun, but not groundbreaking by any means.

You know I have no doubt that the Note8 is the best Samsung smartphone around,

but it's not something that I think most people will need.

Unless you really want that S-Pen,

the S8 Plus could be a better option.

Thanks for watching my review of the Galaxy Note8.

If you liked it be sure to give me a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel.

Thanks, and see you guys on the next one.

Daryl Coolidge (WWE No Mercy Review!) (9/25/17) - Duration: 30:04.

Okay, so we're going into the WWE No Mercy Pay-Per-View from last night today, starting things off with The Miz defeating Jason Jordan, the burial of Jason Jordan continues, I don't know maybe it's being Kurt Angle's son that is messing him up, it's just my theory, his so-called "Daddy issues or something like that. Anyway, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose defeated Sheamus and Cesaro, that's retained their tag team championships, I knw that was happening. Then, onto Enzo Amore defeating Neville, they gave him the Cruiserweight championship, so, after weeks and months of this guy getting creamed, by the likes of his former partner Big Cass and The Self-Proclaim King of the Cruiserweights, he finally gets a win, he just talks on and on and on and on, he reminds of me that Energizer Bunny in those commercials, he just keeps on going and going and going and going, there's no off-switch with Amore, it isn't that he's not charismatic or anything like that and he is, it's the way he comes, he needs humility, rest assured they give this guy a push and he definitely needed it, now, about Alexa vs. Bayley, Emma, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks, you see four on one doesn't guarantee a loss for the champion and she still won, it looked like Nia Ja was about to win, but Bayley came and got the save, Emma was teaming up with Little Miss Bliss for a minute, only to revert back to squaring off with her, some folks on here said Emma may get it, well, she didn't, neither did Bayley nor Sasha Banks, Nia Jax almost did, but Alexa retains her Raw Women's Championship, she has a solid fanbase being "White-hot, Alexa is my friend, she doesn't know it, though. I like her, her in-ring Psychology and everything, what she said when Renee Young interviewed her after the match, she was the Goddess of the WWE, of the company, she ain't lying, because she's been champion for quite a while and she may break both Brie Bella and AJ Lee's records. I hope that she does, I know that she will; at least until Asuka debuts maybe soon, maybe tonight, who knows? Renee Young interviews Jason Jordan after his match against the Miz, he didn't take his loss too well, it's time to get him someone can beat or change of attitude, I don't know. Now, Onto to the Monster Braun Strowman vs. The Beast Brock Lesnar, this match lasted about maybe ten to twenty minutes, for their finishes, Braun didn't get it, Lesnar retains, Heyman is good, he's gold on the mic, making it appear that he's supporting Strowman, supporting Lesnar's opponents, just get into the Psyche of the Universe and his opponents, which helps Lesnar get an advantage, master manipulator Heyman is. Roman Reigns vs. John Cena, this was back and forth, almost looked like Cena was going to win, but Reigns became triumphant in their meeting. Raised Reigns hands, Reigns yard is true.

Best Budget smartphone under 50$?? Blackview A7 Unboxing, Review and Test! - Duration: 8:00.

Hello there guys!

It's CoolFox over here and today, I'm bringing you an unboxing and review of the Blackview

A7 smartphone!

Before we begin, I would really appreciate it if you can subscribe as we are trying to

hit 500 subscribers by the end of the year.

Starting with the unboxing, you can see the specs listed at the back and opening the box

you can see the phone on the front with a silicon cover, under that you have a little

divider and then you will find the manual, the charging cable and charging plug.

The charging cable is a normal Micro USB and the charging plug is a nice travelling charger

since it can become smaller by retracting the 3rd plastic prong.

The phone itself comes with a screen protector on the front and they throw in a free silicon

case as I said before.

The back has a very nice texture on it.

It has very small ridges which improve the grip a bit more than a smooth surface, on

the bottom you find the micro USB port, on the right side you find the volume rocker

and the power on/off button.

On the top you find a headphone jack and the left side is left empty.

On the back, you find the dual camera which we will talk about later on in the video and

the speaker at the bottom.

On the front, you find 3 capacitive touch buttons and the front facing camera along

with the speaker unit.

Popping off the back, you find a detachable battery which comes with a small tab which

you have to pull out before turning the phone on and a dual sim slot alongside a micro SD

card slot.

The setup is just like any other smartphone.

You have the default Android languages to choose from and after putting in your email

address, wifi password and a security feature, you are all set up.

The UI itself is very similar to stock android except for the drop down menu which has a

skin on it which is commonly seen on other Blackview devices.

It is pretty snappy for the most part and the surprising thing is that the phone comes

equipped with Android 7.0 out of the box.

It also came with an update once I switched on the phone which is very good to see.

Battery life is actually very good.

For a 2800 mah battery, it easily stays on the whole day which is great to see at this

price!

Going through the settings, you can also see that there is a skin applied, but other than

that, most items found in the settings are as default.

Something strange that I did encounter though is the fact that the storage was first listed

as 4.26 GB and after pressing the storage icon and going back, it showed exactly 8 GB.

This was very strange as I have never seen anything like it before.

Once I connected it to my PC, it showed that it had 8 GB of storage.

But I am still not sure which to believe.

The memory is listed at 893 MB which is just as advertised.

You have bundled in gesture unlock which isn't present usually on default android, one handed

mode which is also not usually present on default android, and everything else is default.

Now moving onto Antutu, you can see the specifications listed.

It has Android 7.0 as said before, the MTK 6580 which is a budget Mediatek CPU, the Mali-400

MP GPU, a 720p screen, a 5.3 mp back camera and a 1.9 MP front facing camera.

After the test was done, It scored a total of 23599 which is mediocre but considering

the price, it is pretty much acceptable.

I also tested Geekbench 4 and it scored a measly 399 on the Single core and 1118 on

the Multi core.

This is a pretty bad result but as I said before, you cannot expect big things from

a budget smartphone.

Taking a look at the sensors present on this phone, you can see that most sensors are disabled.

This was pretty confusing considering that even the gyroscope and orientation sensor

is disabled which means that you cannot use maps on this phone.

The accelerometer and sound sensors where the only ones that worked correctly and even

the light and proximity sensor weren't acting normally.

After seeing that the gyroscope and orientation sensors were disabled, I ran GPS Test and

it yielded a great result.

The only thing which was very strange was that the orientation wasn't picked up and

so the great pin point accuracy was all for nothing since you cannot use maps with this

phone.

As you can see in the compass below, it does not move therefore, it cannot show you were

you are facing even in a map app.

Doing a quick video test shows you that the phone cannot handle 60 fps video.

This is very disappointing to see although this is commonly seen in Mediatek chips.

The speaker is pretty thinny although it does exceed my daily driver which is a UMi Plus

which costs 150$.

Moving onto a Wifi speedtest, everything is as expected and the speeds are as they are

supposed to be.

Opening up an application such as Alto's Adventure which is a game, does take quite a bit of

time to load up and I also saw a bit of artifcating before the game itself started.

Other than that, gameplay was smooth and this would handle light games such as this one.

Now moving onto the camera, you can tell from the pictures that he quality isn't really

that good and although they did advertise a dual camera, I believe that the second camera

is fake.

Form this close up shot, you can easily tell that it looks very different to the main camera

and that something is not right.

Once I covered up the second camera itself, the 2 x zoom made no difference which easily

shows that the phone only uses 1 camera or has only 1 camera.

The blur mode as you can see here is very bad and the phone should utilize both cameras

to detect what is in the front and what is in the back.

That is why the blur ended up happening to everything except the focus point.

Mono mode works very well and just as expected and the 2x zoom is as I said before, done

with 1 camera.

The front camera is nothing to run home about and the back camera in terms of video quality

is also nothing special.

The microphone though is actually pretty good.

I hope you enjoyed this video guys, If you did please leave a like and subscribe for

more content.

This was CoolFox and I'm out, Peace!

ImanKijkt | The First Two Episodes of STAR TREK DISCOVERY on NETFLIX - Duration: 3:05.

Hey I'm Iman and welcome to...

Iman Watches the first two episodes of Star Trek Discovery on NetFlix

Sorry. I'm not a trekkie

but I've seen a lot of Star Trek series

The Original Star Trek Series

The Next Generation

Deep Space Nine

Voyager

And Enterprise

The old movies

and the new movies

oh god

I'm a nerd?!

Anyway. after many years of waiting there is finally a new Star Trek Series

Well at the moment 2 episodes

Star Trek Discovery

Let's watch a bit...

Would you recommend it?

at the moment there a just to episodes available

And let's just get it over with

Yes! I would recommend it

Why?

Star Trek is about the dialog, the characters, the ideas

the technical stuff and the moral implications

This shows seems to get that

This feels like Star Trek but with the quality the viewers have become accustomed to

It looks great

and the look and feel reminds you of the j.j. Abrahams Star Trek Movies

It has some good characters and a storyline the peaks my interest

The main character

Michael Burnham

is a woman

which I really like

and she's really something else then

Kirk

Picard

Janeway

or Archer

She's not a captain. But it could still happen

She has a really dramatic backstory and the flaws to go with it

and that makes a much more human and interesting to watch

and they immediately introduce a couple of good side characters

Like.. Captain Georgiou

and... the guy who looks like a Guillermo del Toro invention: Saru

The Klingons are back and look really different

Notting like Mr Worf

And it looks like they are gonna be the big bad

They want nothing to do with the federation because they don't want to lose their culture and traditions...

and they have a really cool slogan!

Remain Klingon

the first two episodes that are online setup the story, the characters and the threat...

and now that they have don't that we'll probably see some stand-alone episodes that...

keeps returning to the main story line

Based on the first episodes. I think this is a good show for Star Trek Fans and Science Fiction Geeks

Go and watch!!

Yeah. That's it! Leave a comment, thumbs up. Don't forget to subscribe and...

Live long and prosper

I wish I could do this

would have been cool...

Thanks for watching!!

Phyto Family CBD Review: Granddaddy Purple & Banana Kush -BrittanySmokesWeed - Duration: 14:56.

hey what's up guys things come back for another video so I'm really excited

because I have some CBD products here to review for you guys and I know a lot of

you guys have been asking me about CBD and where to get it to what are the

effects is it good for you just like so many questions about CBD so

I'm super excited that I actually have some products here to try out three guys

and let you guys know how they are and everything so I'm gonna show you guys

what I have and I'll let you guys know how is as far as like the taste effects

all that stuff so let's do it I'm really excited alright guys here we

are at my unboxing view I did open this box earlier to take out my address and

all that stuff but I have not used any of these products and really excited to

try them out here with you guys for the first time these products did come from

Fido family the links will be in the description if you guys are interested

in checking out the website all that stuff and all of their products are also

tested for metals and contaminants and all that stuff that is another concern

that I had just about buying CBD online and that's one of the benefits from

ordering from this company so we'll just go in here see we have

see what this is this looks like a sample of a another CVD product that I

will try out later we're gonna try to focus on the lead Abbeville concentrates

in this video and I believe that's what we have here so just open up the package

I do start to smell these CBD products and it is a familiar smell oh my gosh so

the first thing I have here is this CBD slab it is in 99% isolate 500 milligrams

I really like how the lids have like the name of everything on it that's pretty

cool no have to keep track of it

we also have this high terpene isolate this one is strain-specific granddaddy

purp I'm really excited about this because I cannot find granddaddy purple

for like the love of anything around me so I'm pretty excited to get this hi

terpene isolate and try that out of this granddaddy purple and it looks pretty

much the same as the other one just really crystally it's a really strong

smelling CBD smell the last one we have is banana Kush this is another high

terpene isolate 500 milligrams hybrid I believe this is an indica dominant

strain this one does have a little bit of a stronger smell I pretty sure I can

smell bananas herpe know little bits possibly definitely has a different

smell versus the granddaddy purples so that's really excited I'm really excited

I think I'm gonna try this at first I'm really excited to try these out so let's

head back to the view where you guys can see everything and I'm gonna try these

out for you guys our guys were back and I'm super excited to try these out I'm

definitely gonna have to try I was the banana crush first I'm really

caught off by the color of it though I've never had just CBD isolate before

so we're even TG Eisley I've never had it nicely so really excited to try it

out the smell is really kind of like sweet you guys I've ever had any type of

CBD you guys know the CBD smell this smell is it's kind of just a little bit

sweeter it does smell kind of fruity I want to say but enough talking with a

smell let's try to taste let's get into it and see what it tastes like

break super easy with my dog or it smells really nice I just

a pretty small size down here just see me started I think I'm just gonna go for

a medium-high temperature for this first one

the taste is pretty good I think I'm just gonna go for a little bit higher

temperature I think it had a little bit cold melting a little bit but taste was

really good and it was just a really smooth hit I'm gonna try another one

a little bit of high temperature do you have a slightly bigger dab here this

time that one was really good I think I'm just gonna stick to the higher

temperature ones for me personally just most - dabs I answer and you feel a lot

more relaxed I wasn't really expecting to feel too much from just to Dobbs but

again it's been a while since I've had like any type of CBD concentrates or

just CBD in general so it does taste CBD and just like a lot of terpenes it's

really flavorful I really think you get more of a taste after you have a few

dabs of it but it's really relaxed you know I really like it the smell is

absolutely amazing that I think that might be one of my favorite things about

this is just the smell so good I'm actually gonna have one more this one

and then I'm gonna move on to the other ones

as you guys saw that was a pretty big dad I didn't cough it's really smooth

and just it's really nice but we're gonna go ahead and wrap up this one and

I'm just trying to feel extremely relaxed and just a lot more at ease with

myself as you guys know CBDs awesome at treating anxiety and PTSD and lots of

other just health problems it's really good for pain I personally like it to

just slow my brain down whenever I'm thinking too much or whenever I'm having

a bad day CBT is usually really helpful and I'm really excited to get back into

it we're gonna go ahead and try this granddaddy purple right now I'm really

exciting about this one this one has sort of a deeper smell I feel like I can

I can smell grapes a little bit it smells really good

really flavorful just a nice beautiful slab of isolate and we're just gonna get

another decent sized dog from this one I'm so ready to try this granddaddy

purple you guys have no idea how excited I am so let's get started

that one definitely has a different taste versus the pedantic push it does

taste a little bit grapey it's really flavorful I cannot believe how much

flavors actually in this CD it's really good as you guys know flavors something

I absolutely love when it comes to concentrates that's why I really been

into like sugar and just like types of concentrates that leave that flavor in

there and terpenes and it's just it's really nice I just think it's a part of

like the entire healing process like the aromatherapy and just being able to

smell and taste and feel your medicine just like feel that it's working so that

might be just me I don't know if but personally sensory things take a lot of

importance in my medicine so that's something that I really appreciate about

this as you guys can see I do have some coffee here I personally just like to

have a little pick-me-up whenever I'm having CBD products because they can be

very relaxing and it kind of just helps me personally balance things out but I'm

gonna have another dab of this Grandaddy purple it's really good guys I wish I

could share it with you guys

so flavorful I just I love it I really wasn't expecting it to be as flavorful

but by the name hi terpene it's really Heights routine I can really taste it

it's really good and I guess before I get into this last

isolate I will answer the big question I know all of you are wondering and that

is am i high from the CBD the answer is no I'm not high it's not like dabbing

like THC but I do feel really relaxed and just kind of more at ease I do have

problems with like muscle spasms and stuff like that that's kind of not

really a problem right now and I'm just able to relax and focus a little bit

more so that's one of the benefits of CBD that I am personally experiencing

right now just from a few dabs I have about five taps so um yeah this one does

have the least amount of smell but I'm still really excited to try it and this

one does have the consistency I want to see like a shatter versus a crumble

texture like the other ones this is a little bit more hard to get through it's

kind of like shattered but we'll see how it burns I'm pretty excited try to spin

out as well so

I'm actually really surprised that this one has as much flavor as it does

because it doesn't really smell too much to me but the flavors really intense it

does taste a lot like traditional CBDs pretty shocking but not really when you

think about it because it is CBD just in a concentrated form kind of have like

this cherry like deep terpene taste it's really hard to describe but if you guys

have ever had CBD you guys know exactly what I'm talking about this one's really

good this is probably my favorite I like texture wise I just love the way it

melts hid on my rig it was really nice I'm gonna try another one at this one

you guys know my overall opinions in thoughts about this CBD

alright guys so I personally really like these concentrates I feel really relaxed

and just kind of in a good state like mentally so I think this was a success

one of the things I really enjoy is that they are incredibly smooth

I've had other concentrates that just weren't very smooth on my throat or

anything but these are really good I did like the texture a lot and the flavor

and the smell was just awesome like I said links are gonna be in the

description if you guys went try these out but other than that I have to rate

these like 9 out of 10 just because of everything that was right and I really

can't find anything wrong so yeah I'm gonna have to recommend it I'm really

excited to be getting back into CBD and using that again because I have been

having troubles following the sleep insane asleep so CBDs probably one of

the best things that I can they give for anxiety and insomnia and stuff like that

so I'm really excited about that and yeah I think that's really it for

this review guys this was again by phyto family all these concentrates came from

them so check out their website check out their CBD products if you are

interested in all that stuff so that's really it for this video guys I'm gonna

go and get going with the rest of my day I hope you guys are doing well thank you

guys so much for watching all the way until the end of this video and yeah I'm

gonna go stay educated stay medicated and I will see you guys later bye

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood | w/MagicCatJenny | Buddy Read Book Review [CC] - Duration: 18:09.

Kathy: Hi, YouTube, it's Kathy, and this is my friend Jenny. Jenny, tell the internet about yourself.

Jenny: Hi, I am MagicCatJenny on YouTube and pretty much everywhere

else on the Internet and my YouTube channel is about Booktube and more - many,

many, more things. [laughs] Kathy: Yeah, we're we're very similar in that we do

just all of the things - whatever we feel like doing on the YouTubes is what we do on the

YouTubes. So we're here today to talk about The Handmaid's Tale. We've both

read this kind of recently and we did so intentionally so we could do a

collaboration, which means over on Jenny's channel we have talked about

Slaughterhouse-Five, so go check out that video; links will be down in the

doobly-doo. We also decided that we're going to give ourselves a limited amount

of time to talk about the book, just so this isn't a kajillion years long as a

video because that could happen [Jenny: It could.] So I'm starting the 20 minute timer now and

it will annoy us in 20 minutes. Okay, so background - in case you're one of like

three people on Booktube that have never heard about this book. Handmaid's Tale is from

1985, written by Margaret Atwood who is Canadian, and it's a dystopian novel and

it was recently made into a TV show which I have not seen yet but heard is

very, very good. Oh, you're over here. Hi! [laughter]

Jenny: I have seen the show Kathy: Oh, good! Jenny: And actually- Kathy: Does it transfer well?

Jenny: Yes. I actually watched the show as it was being released on Hulu. So, I'd watch it

every week and I watched it before I read the book

which normally I don't like doing because that tends to make me less

interested in the book when I'm reading it because I already know everything

that's going on, but actually, it - I mean the book is really, really good and it

very - it it matches up really well. Like, it's a very, very close adaptation. There are

some major differences, but if you like the book, you you won't be disappointed

with the show at all. Kathy: So I'm assuming, like, the major differences were

definitely, like, the intentional differences just because we're in a different

medium as opposed to like, "we're just completely ignoring the plot of the book".

Jenny: Yeah, there were there were a few little things [Kathy: I'm cool with that] that were different.Llike, some

characters were a little bit different but nothing - nothing that would make you

"oh, why did they change that?" Like, the most - the major difference is just

the time in which it takes place. They made it take place in like this year.

Which actually made it even more frightening, I think. Kathy: Yeah, and I feel like

there has been quite a bit of discussion about this book and what's currently

happening in say America - so yeah. That was probably a very intentional update to timeline.

Jenny: Yeah. I recommend both but they're but they're intense.

Kathy: Good to know.

I will - I will try to track down the Hulu show at some point because it seems like

something I would watch. I'll put it on my very long "to watch" list. So yeah, set in this

dystopian world where basically infertility is a big issue and there are

people who work as handmaids, who are basically the reproducers of the society.

So if there is a couple that, they can't have babies - and they never blame it on

the man, I noticed this. They're like, "yeah it's never the man's fault if she can't

get pregnant; it's clearly the wife's fault so we'll get this handmaid and if

the man still can't reproduce with her it's still her fault that there's not child". Which[frustrated]

Jenny: Yeah, so, is this world - the way I read it was almost as if this was something

that was happening on, like, a large scale in the world, where, like, infertility was

becoming a bigger and bigger issue so the reasons the Handmaid's were chosen

is because they were still able, or they they had children recently, or were - or

maybe they ran some tests. I'm not sure exactly, but felt like -

Kathy: Yeah, they had some history of

having a child like our main character, I remember ,had a child and was like

separated from her child and her husband or common-law or whatever he was.

I can't remember. Um and was put to work as somebody to continue the

population but specifically for these like upper class of people.

Jenny: Yeah, so it was interesting to think of what if this sort of, you know, worldwide

problem, or however big it is, isn't just the women, it's it's the men too, so

there's nothing about, like, oh let's find the fertile men and have them be, you

know, like the - like that's really interesting and I think very purposeful

decision, is that there's not, like, also handmen who impregnate the women. Like,

that could help solve this problem or that could you know but no it's just the women.

Kathy: Yeah and that was just it was also just such a weird thing where

there were a bunch of people, like, "hey I will have sex with you, main character,

just in case the guy you were working for is shooting blanks;

you know, you got to make sure you get pregnant. He'll never know it's not his,"

and it's just like such a weird way to go about reproduction.

Jenny: Yeah, there was a scene in the book, I think she's going to go shopping and she walks past one of

the guards and she almost, like, purposefully, like, sways her hips because

she knows that there's - that they don't - like, these young men don't have

girlfriends. They don't see women that often. She knows like the effect she's

having. The way that that sexuality is sort of, almost, taken away from the

society entirely, except for, you know, of course in these sort of, I guess,

illegal clubs, where it's like - that is the point. But even, you know, I mean at

that time it was written, it was written about modern time, and the show is modern

time for us. Like how quickly, like, it seemed as if it went really quickly in

the world of the book. Like, they just burned all the fashion magazines, like,

everything's just - it's just gone. That's so scary to think, that, like, your entire

culture could just be like snuffed out because it's entirely possible. It's just so scary.

Kathy: Yeah it's - it's so strange, too, because

my biggest reference for this book before I read it was just after the US

election I went to see a vaudeville show with a troupe that I usually perform

with but I was too busy so I was just watching the show and they did a whole

take on it and they were just like "Margaret Atwood is a goddamn Nostradamus"

and then they basically did, like, a very quick rendition of what happened in the

book but like just to eerie, errie music, and I was like, yep,

yeah it's scary how much I could see this type of stuff happening if - if

things kept going down the rabbit hole. So that I think that is the scariest thing about it.

Um, what have they call it? Did they call it

the tradition or the ceremony - they're, like, once a month, sanctioned shag fest?

Jenny: Yeah, Ceremony. Kathy: -seemed like the least sexy thing of all time

because you have the wife [Jenny: yeah] holding on to the woman -the handmaid - who's, I'm pretty sure

mostly still clothed except for, like, underpants and then, like, the husband

doing his bit for fertility. Weirdest...[grossed out sounds] Yeah and it's somehow... I

appreciated that this was a society that was like "rape is not cool" - [but] it was just as

invasive, because it's not like she had a choice to not be a handmaid.

Jenny: Yeah, the line - the line of "is this rape, is it not?" it's a very blurred. Watching the show

and I do I do think it's a really great show and really great book but, but some

of those scenes were very difficult to watch. Just, just because of how real and

how great the actors were and all the- they filmed everything very, very close,

tight close-ups on people's faces and it's just those scenes were like my

least favorite. They're done well, but they were my least favorite to watch, because it's [grossed out]-

Kathy: Yeah I imagine they would be incredibly uncomfortable to watch because

it's such a weird world, because it's like, "oh we've gotten rid of rape"-

Jenny: But not you haven't, not really.

Kathy, Actually, no, like any

situation where you have to do this or else we're just gonna kill you is rape.

Jenny: Yeah one thing about the book that I thought was really interesting because

it wasn't in the show, so it was a bit of a surprise for me

reading, was the sort of epilogue that takes place in like years and years and

years in the future and like the whole the whole story was found on these audio tapes of Offred.

Kathy: Yeah which is an interesting take.

Jenny: Yeah, that does not happen in the- in the show, and that was interesting because a lot of the the

people who are talking about her tapes, like, questioning whether or not she was

lying, or how true some of it [was] and a lot of - a lot of the men characters in-

in that epilogue being like, "oh I don't know". It was just, even that part was so frustrating.

Kathy: Yeah, exactly [overlap] If somebody took the time to tell this story

in a way to try to get it out to the masses, shouldn't you just believe them?

Jenny: Yeah Kathy: Yeah, yes, I was also frustrated with that. And it was also just kind of a weird way,

like weird in a good way, a good way to end it, but also just like, you you didn't really know

what happened, because it has that - [Jenny: Yeah] kind of abrupt "she just stopped

recording tapes" ending, you don't know if she succeeded in getting away, or if

she was killed. Like, you just don't know.

Jenny: Definitely and that might change because

there is gonna be a second season [Kathy: Okay!] Yeah, but Margaret- Margaret Atwood is

very involved in the production and very involved in writing the next season so-

Kathy: Yeah and it's interesting that, like, taking something that is just, like, one

text and then putting it into, like, a TV format and then deciding that there's

going to be another season on top of it, even though there's not more written work to

go from is really interesting to me. The other, like, book to TV show

adaptation that's done that recently is Thirteen Reasons Why. They're going to be

continuing that one as a second season then, like, there's - there's nothing after

that point book wise, so like I'm interested to see what's going to happen. [Jenny: Right.]

Is it going to be a lot more of just dealing with the fallout of that

situation? Is it dealing with that and actually getting justice for it, or is it

just going to be incredibly frustrating? Like, yeah, so -

it'll be interesting to see what they do with the second season of this. It's good

that the original author is involved, because then you have some form of

integrity, although books belong to their readers, so there's that whole thing, but

I feel more comfortable with Margaret Atwood being a part of writing the

"second book," as it were, into a second season of the show.

Jenny: Yeah, I think - I think

definitely and this might be a topic for another video but books and their TV or

film adaptations and how that can change how you read a book or how you watch a

show, based on which one you've experienced first. Normally I find it

frustrating if I do the two too close to each other.

I couldn't get into the Game of Thrones books at all because I had seen the show

and I tried reading the first book and I just- I couldn't get into it, because it

moves so much slower than the show.

Kathy: It's interesting because I watched, I think,

the first season, and then I read all of the books, because - and that actually

helped me because while I was watching the TV show, I would have to stop it

every once in a while and be like, "okay which guy with a beard is this?" Cuz there were a lot of characters

and a lot of them look similar, [Jenny: yeah.] but because I had those actors in my head

while I was trying to read the book and it was so much easier. so like, I would

read the book,s and I would see those actors as those characters. So it's

interesting that we have two different takes on that. Yeah, I like that.

Jenny: Yeah, another experience with that I obviously read Harry Potter books before seeing

the films because they came out before but [laughter] obviously - but I remember I reread

all of the books before the final film and when I watched the final film, I

found myself frustrated and angry at it more than I've been angry at any of the

other films, and certainly some of those aren't as close to the books as, like, the

last ones are, but I just was criti[cal] - I was very intensely critical because I just

finished reading the last book

Kathy: Yeah I have a best friend who is a huge Potter fan and she can't do it too closer she gets very mad.

So I didn't actually read the Harry Potter books until 2013, um [laughs] but, like, my best friend's a

huge Harry Potter fan so she I had seen the first two movies and then she

complained so hard about them; I think they switched directors for the third

movie [Jenny: Yeah] that I just didn't see the rest of the movies, because she complained

about such a little change that I wouldn't have noticed because I didn't read the books.

Jenny: That's interesting Kathy: Yeah, it's it's just weird that I just never

got around to. it I mean I've read and seen all of it, so yeah, but it was like,

it was such an intensely popular thing, and when something is super intensely

popular, I don't want to read it right away. I'm just weird like that.

My little brother loved it. It got him into reading, but, like, I was already a

hardcore reader, so I didn't need that, like, push into "this makes kids read".

I'm like "I was reading before it was cool" [Jenny: Yeah.] Yeah I was that kid, so...

Jenny: Yeah, I wasn't super into those books right when they were popular, when the first books came

out and the sort of Harry Potter mania started happening, I wasn't like super

into it at that time either. I read the books and enjoyed them but I wasn't, like,

in the fandom till probably like college, when like I guess it was getting pretty,

you know, the movies kept coming out and all of that, but yeah, it's interesting.

The third movie had a different director but I actually think it's better.

Kathy: I think they also might have switched locations for like the Grand Hall or something -

something, like, I probably wouldn't even notice, really bother her so I just never ended up

seeing the film for like years, cuz she complained about it so much. Like I was

like, "I don't really care; I like, I see it- the draw, I see the draw. This is really

good storytelling, blah blah blah, but there's so many things to read!"

So in some ways it made it feel like this happened like immediately; uh, you did kind of see

a lead-up to this happening in her flashback scenes with her happy family.

You did see, like, things shutting down and then suddenly her not having access

to her bank account. Like, that was very close to, like, her being captured and

forced into this lifestyle, but you kind of saw it happening bit by bit.

And it's so interesting to see that again with the current political landscape - it's just, yes, terrifying.

Jenny: Yeah, actually I borrowed this book from my sister-in-law because at my

library it was like checked out with like over a hundred people on the

waiting list so {Kathy: Oh, yes!] so I borrowed it from her and I just wanted to show you-

it's really cute- little post-it and I dunno if you can see, it's this little llama

post-it note that just says "question authority." Kathy: Nice that is really cute. I approve.

Jenny: Yeah, she actually read it in school. [I found] question discussions. I was thinking I

think it's using this for our video but they're they're very specific there's a lot of them.

Kathy: Oh, yeah, just like the things that you would make a high schooler write and

essay about? [Jenny: Yeah.] Booktube just wants to talk about things in

general, maybe going to specifics, but not like, write a five paragraph essay on things.

Jenny: Yeah I really, I really enjoyed it. Again, is interesting considering I read it right after seeing the show.

Kathy: I felt it was weird in this in this book how many different types of classes women there

were and they were classed under like legitimate women / illegitimate women and

then, like, how they were basically making women police themselves [alarm goes off]

I guess that was our 20 minutes. I'm gonna finish that thought anyway,

how they were basically making women police themselves by having these different

class structures within being a woman, so like, you've had the wives, you had the

daughters, you have the handmaid's, but if you were a- if you were a person who

just wanted to have sex, you were a Jezebel [Jenny: Yeah.]- underclass type of person.

It was just so weird and it's -it's, yeah. It's a lot of what, like, girl on girl hate

is now currently, is just basically policing each other.

Jenny: Yeah, no... it felt as if it was almost sort of like the way some people might think of women and

judge them but making it very much like a part of the society. So, almost, like,

justifying those judgments and saying that they're okay because this is just

the way things are and not like oh...

Kathy: Yeah, like, "I'm just following the rules by telling you you can't do you want to do" and it's like think about

where these rules came from!

Jenny: One of those categories wasn't in the show,

which I noticed reading the book and that was the category of women that were

of a lesser, like, class status and they had - they had to do like all the

different jobs so they had multicolored outfits.

Kathy: Yeah, I think they were called a econowives.

Jenny: Yes! Econowives... uggg.

Kathy: Women who married relatively low ranking men but yeah are not part of the elite. So if you

have read the book, or if you've seen the TV show, let us know your thoughts down

in the comments below, and if you haven't already you should go over to Jenny's

Channel and subscribe and watch her video that we did together as well on

Slaughterhouse-Five. And just all of her videos, because this is how we became

friends - I just kept watching your videos, so yay.

Yeah, I mean look at that face! How could you not subscribe to

that face. If you'd like this type of collaboration video, please let me know

because if you guys are digging it, I definitely enjoy doing this with Jenny,

so we could do this in the future if it's something that other people and not just

us enjoy. So yeah let us know down below.

Jenny: Thanks for watching!

Kathy: [laughter] Yeah, exactly, basically. So, yeah be sure to like, share, comment, subscribe at will and we'll see
