News on Youtube Sep 26 2017

Hey everyone MapMover here, what's happening and welcome to another bf1 weapon review video,

but this video will be the first time I'm reviewing any of the in the name of the tsar

weapons and first to make the review list is the model

1900 factory available in the assault class.

The model 1900 factory is essentially a faster firing model 10-a factory, but not as accurate

over distance as the model 10-a hunter because the model 1900 factory doesn't come

with a choke like the hunter does, but if you like the close quarters action

of the model 10-a factory then you're going to LOVE the model 1900 factory and here's

why: The Model 1900 factory comes with 20 pellets

per shots fired, just like the model 10-a variants

It comes with the same damage per pellet of 8.4 up to 14 metres which is a total damage

potential of 168 if all your pellets land on target

It has a recoil reset value of 4.5 which is the same as the model 10 factory and which

are both faster at reverting back to aiming where you initially was before firing, than

the model 10-a hunter which has a value of 3

And they all have the exact same muzzle velocity of 333 metres per second

And by all I mean the model 1900 factory, the model 10 A factory and the model 10 a

hunter

But the model 1900 factory has a few tricks up its sleeve which sets it apart from the

model 10-a variants and I think these next few stats I'm going

to mention gives it such a huge advantage over both of the model 10-a variants that

I really think the model 1900 shotgun could end up being THE go-to shotgun for assault

players and here's what I'm talking about:

The model 1900 factory has a vertical recoil of 8, which is a lot lower than the model

10-a variants vertical recoil of 11 It comes with two fire modes, one single shot

and one where you fire both barrels almost simultaneously with one pull of the trigger

And were you to fire in single shot your rate of fire is a whopping 299 rounds per minute,

which is staggering compared to the model 10-a variants 78 rounds per minute

However there are some disadvantages which will force you to change your play-style a

little, but none that I feel which will take too long to get used to

First off you only have two rounds to fire before you need to reload

The reload time per shell is significantly higher than the model 10-a variants

And your horizontal recoil is higher than the model 10-a variants, personally it's not

a noticeable difference, but it's worth noting

In terms of my experience with the model 1900 factory here's what I recommend:

Cycle between the fire modes, if you think you're going to be playing in extreme close

quarters use that double barrel fire mode, but just keep in mind that if you miss you'll

be left with a super long reload If you're prone to missing your first shot

or your accuracy isn't on point - a bit like mine a lot of the time to be honest, then

you might be better off staying at single shot, because a single shot on target is enough

to take out an enemy at close quarters as long as enough pellets land on target and

if you do miss then you'll have that second shot to fall back on

As your long range potential will be limited due to you using a shotgun it might be worth

considering equipping a good long range side-arm like the obrez to extend your range at times

you're caught in the open And here's an interesting thing about the

model 1900 Factory - The reload times are flipped upside down

with the model 1900, because reloading when empty is faster than reloading when you still

have one round left in a barrel, but don't worry too much about firing off

both barrels just so you can get that fast reload

this is because you can still do a huge amount of damage with a single shot fired

also like I said earlier you don't need to worry as much about missing in single fire

mode and you only get a finite amount of ammo,

so going single fire and reloading after single shots will help you conserve ammo for longer

Finally: it's worth considering using your side-arm

first for distant enemies before finishing up with the model 1900

it's better to get into positions where your enemies are facing you head on instead of

being at side facing positions to reduce the chances of missing due to their random movements

and to allow the most amount of pellets to hit the target, because a side facing target

is a smaller target it's better to aim at the lower torso first

if you tend to find yourself using both rounds to finish an enemy as the high rate of fire

won't give you enough time to reset your recoil or instead you might want to consider pacing

your shots to get around this if you want to aim at the upper torso because if you don't

pace enough then your second shot could just go over your enemy's head

and there is still random shotgun deviation at play in the current build of battlefield

1, but if the changes that are currently being tested in CTE reach the base game, then shotguns

won't have that random deviation problem and from my cte gameplay experience with the

model 1900 factory that thing is very very good, definitely better than in the base game

So give this shotgun a go, use it now at least to get used to its pros and cons and hopefully

by the time the cte changes reach the base game, you should have an amazing shotgun to

use on your hands, one that you can understand better how to best take advantage of.

So that sums up this weapon review and with that all said, unfortunately that's all the

time in this video for this weapon review, but never fear more reviews are on the way!

Breaking Down The Box Office with The Bubble: La Cordillera film review - Duration: 3:45.

I'm Vanessa Camozzi and you're watching "Breaking Down The Box Office With The Bubble"

Today we're reviewing the Argentine political drama La Cordillera directed by Santiago Mitre.

La Cordillera stars Ricardo Darín, Dolores Fonzi, and Erica Rivas.

And it also co-stars American actor Christian Slater.

"La Cordillera" or in English "The Summit" is a political thriller in which Latin American heads of state

gather for a summit in a remote Hotel in the Andes.

Ricardo Darín portrays a fictional Argentine president who has to deal with a corruption scandal

Involving his daughter while defending his country's interests.

This is the first time in Argentinian cinematic history where a fictional Argentine president has been depicted on the big screen.

Let's take a look at the trailer.

The president travels on his first international summit.

N ow, the whole world is going to notice that Argentina has an invisible president.

This summit is important for the entire world.

Marina. I want you to put her on the plane and bring her. Daughter.

Do you believe in evil, Mr. President?

Evil exists, Señorita Klein.

You don't get to be president if you have never seen it a few times at least.

They are sending somebody. What are you talking about? The Americans.

Mr. President it's an honor to meet you.

Director Santiago Mitre wanted to create a portrait of a major political figure whose public and private lives face off against each other

Fun fact* Mitre's dad worked for the Mercosur for a long time and often attended those international summits

And that's where the idea came from his vision was to really intertwine the political and the personal.

Mitre and his screenwriting partner Mariano Llinas from Spain chose to steer the story more towards

strangeness to establish an almost fantasy like atmosphere. The hotel where the film is shot does not really exist in fact

interior shots were filmed in several hotels in Chile and Argentina.

They had access to the Casa Rosada for an entire night and an entire Sunday

And he was also able to film on the real presidential plane.

He says he would have never made "La Cordillera"

without Ricardo Darín and offered him the role as soon as he knew he wanted to make a film whose hero was the President of Argentina.

The Argentine people seem to love Darín his acting as much as Hollywood loves Meryl Streep.

Now the films gotten mixed reviews with people mostly having an issue with how it ends.

No spoilers here though Rotten Tomatoes gave it

45% on the tomato meter with the audience scoring at 2.7 out of 5 stars. The more credible

IMDB website rates at six point four out of ten stars and here on the bubble meter

I scored it two-and-a-half bubbles out of five

It's very entertaining as a movie should be and that partnered with a very impressive cast made it very memorable.

However it lacked a little bit of character development and the plot twists and characters at times were a little stately stiff and a little

too strange. Overall the movie is a little bit like my tennis game right now. It's good

But not great, but it's worth the watch, the movie

I mean, not my tennis.

So what did you think? Let us know in the comments and tell us what other movies or shows you want us to review next.

And thanks for watching 'Breaking Down The Box Office At The Bubble."

Destiny 2 PC - Stoner Review (w/ subs) - Duration: 18:24.

hey guys this is my first time playing Destiny,

Destiny 2

this is the open beta

no idea what I'm doing

the game honestly looks great..

the graphics are amazing..

I am playing at maximum quality!

let's see the shooting.. Ok, the shooting feels amazing..

Bye man, Oh

this is the cool guy from the trailer.. every game has a cool character

But no game will surpass Borderlands..

the creativity of characters..

Find Zavala... (the quest)

don't close the Fu$@ing door man.. okay stay there forever

Gear Up for the fight!

There are 3 classes available right now..

The Titan, the Hunter and the Warlock

and every class has two sub-classes..

I have heard that already a third subclass for the Warlock class has been announced

So i don't know what we could expect from the full release maybe 3 sub-classes?

I want to try the void walker..

So it reminds me of Call of Duty or Halo weapons..

but it's like a dream came true.. I mean who didn't want a halo game for PC

It surprises me that the aim is very steady..

OK, the graphics look amazing

I am really impressed with the quality

and you can play the game at 4K resolution easily

I am running a GTX 980 (Overclocked) at the moment

boys he's gonna die he's gonna die

Ahh..!! Nailed it!!

Oh i am gonna die..

I am looking forward for the PvP part

to be honest,

I have been always a PvP player..

I was playing the Rogue class in WoW so..

You understand..

I would expect from myself to pick up the hunter class..

you know rogue.. Invisible $hit feeling.. but

I dont know something in the Warlock class just

attracted me i guess.. i dont know!

oh yeah

look at the size of that thing

don't take this out of context plz..

The reflection is really good

this is indeed a game to play with friends

a lot of PvE with Bosses

I figured out most of the controls by other games

All the controls are simillar to Call of Duty so far

You Run with Shift, You crouch with Ctrl

I pressed C which is something.. (melee)

Some of the boxes are ammo for sure..

What are the boxes? What is in the box?

I never owned a PS4 or XBox1

So I ve never played the first Destiny game

I know that Destiny 1 had an amazing community

The community of D1 was something that every game should be jealous of

I hope Destiny 2 will create something simillar

who would not want a beautiful PC community for once ;)

Of course from here..

Any logical person would just follow this path

Oh! Nice shadow

Lets do the melee thing

oh oh this

Is he a player?

who the Fu$k names himeself FA777..

I mean only a player could be that..

It really grinds my gears that i don't know how to use my abilities yet

(In the PC Open Beta one of the biggest drawbacks in my opinion is that it doesn't teach you the key bindings for anything..)

Lets try something..

Okay! Q does something cool!

Okay lets do the C thing.. (melee)

OMG he died. Fu$#en noob man. You dont know h2p

the fu$#ing game man

Fu$#en nab

It feels so much better than the new CoD $hits

CoD see the success of

Titanfall so they make a futuristic bullshit they see the success of

Battlefield they go back to World War two

what's wrong with call of duty - I don't While this game.. already has a

unique style

it's really satisfying

AvengerNinja OMFG dude such a cool name

OK ninja follows

He is a hunter

Ok.. lets do the...

...

you fucking bitch I really wanted to do my super Duper move..

I only know :'( sniffs

OMG she is good!..

okay.. sorry!! GJ

Lets do this!

I like it I like it

I dont know what I just did but it looks COOL

Bungie always made quality content for consoles..

and

Believe me PC-wise they did not screw up at all!

The feeling is amazing.. You see what I see..

The Fu#$ u doing on the tree man..Get down from the tree man

Okay this is a super Boss

I know this.. cause I know this

Oh yeah Bit$h

Staaaar Waaaars!!

vives ;)

da da da da da

OMFG

Yeah I know the good old times

where game used to cost like 50 euros..

This game costed me 100 euros.. (Deluxe edition)

I hate the expansion logic.. don't get me wrong

**Clicks accidentally F for Ult**

Okay... WTF

(Mission success u learned how to ult..)

I am not sure if it is gonna be

the same tutorial with the full game release.. (this doesnt explain $hit)

I know they are fu$%en low NPC's

So I can just harass them..

and I don't have to play this as a fu$ken head-shot commando

OMG this guy seems strong

okay Q!! is the only ability we know..

it works, its effective!

The perfect hole ;) Ela die its over!!

He has a shield or something.. I'm not sure

Ela bye man!! perastika!

**Trying to learn the ability keys**

Emotes? with arrows?

who had this brilliant idea?

Thank God! I though i was wrong.. AGAIN!

I wanna try my Super

but i forgot the key binding.. it was F!! wasn't it F??

It is fully automatic and it goes straight?

???___________???

it's really interesting to see how you will receive this

can I shoot.. I want this $hit on his back to explode!

OMG good mornin beautiful mylady?

Nice dodges there bruh!

**Misses Q!! :P lel**

Ok you seem strong.. You have a huge shield

I wonder if I melee you do u get extra dmg?

I won't die I promised I wont die!

ZEROO deaths Everybody **Pewds**

exhaust turbines.. this is very vague

okay this is randomness

okay when you jump near the edges it seems like..

**Brain Lag**

no no that was so unfair.. Zero deaths

OMG you can Sprint!! and I was walking!

oh yeah I've heard about Light..

Light gives all

Guardians their strength like..

their soul.. O_O

BOOM

Ghaul.. and your life.. IS GONE!!

oh fuck so close..

**cries in a corner**

I am going to make more videos in the future for

ImanKijkt | STAR TREK DISCOVERY (The First Two Episodes) |NETFLIX | Review - Duration: 3:05.

Hey I'm Iman and welcome to...

Iman Watches the first two episodes of Star Trek Discovery on NetFlix

Sorry. I'm not a trekkie

but I've seen a lot of Star Trek series

The Original Star Trek Series

The Next Generation

Deep Space Nine

Voyager

And Enterprise

The old movies

and the new movies

oh god

I'm a nerd?!

Anyway. after many years of waiting there is finally a new Star Trek Series

Well at the moment 2 episodes

Star Trek Discovery

Let's watch a bit...

Would you recommend it?

at the moment there a just to episodes available

And let's just get it over with

Yes! I would recommend it

Why?

Star Trek is about the dialog, the characters, the ideas

the technical stuff and the moral implications

This shows seems to get that

This feels like Star Trek but with the quality the viewers have become accustomed to

It looks great

and the look and feel reminds you of the j.j. Abrahams Star Trek Movies

It has some good characters and a storyline the peaks my interest

The main character

Michael Burnham

is a woman

which I really like

and she's really something else then

Kirk

Picard

Janeway

or Archer

She's not a captain. But it could still happen

She has a really dramatic backstory and the flaws to go with it

and that makes a much more human and interesting to watch

and they immediately introduce a couple of good side characters

Like.. Captain Georgiou

and... the guy who looks like a Guillermo del Toro invention: Saru

The Klingons are back and look really different

Notting like Mr Worf

And it looks like they are gonna be the big bad

They want nothing to do with the federation because they don't want to lose their culture and traditions...

and they have a really cool slogan!

Remain Klingon

the first two episodes that are online setup the story, the characters and the threat...

and now that they have don't that we'll probably see some stand-alone episodes that...

keeps returning to the main story line

Based on the first episodes. I think this is a good show for Star Trek Fans and Science Fiction Geeks

Go and watch!!

Yeah. That's it! Leave a comment, thumbs up. Don't forget to subscribe and...

Live long and prosper

I wish I could do this

would have been cool...

Thanks for watching!!

Toys R Us Haul Unboxing: Harley Quinn review - Duration: 8:37.

hello youtube and welcome back to the Robbie Bobbie Channel I am your host I

don't know why I do that today is another unboxing but today one of my

friends went to Toys R Us for me and purchased some goodies that I don't know

what's in a goodie well I do now because I've looked at the bag oh this is Toys R

Us bag and we have got what have you got in here we have got that lovely let's

look at those smallest items worst cast of the Joker from the very classic and

entertaining and fun film which was called Suicide Squad and that's going to

go down in history as being one of the classics of the 2000s and tens the best

Joker that I have ever seen on screen because he really lives up to his name

the Joker in this film I think we got we got I don't know what they say a Thor I

can never pronounce that thor ragnarok in R&R I think it's like a Chewbacca

masks that I did a few years ago but this one has okay that one moves his

mouth up and down so that's kind of cool what kind of how to look at that and

what we've got one more thing really one more thing back okay we've got this

Harley Queen Holly Queen it's Harley Quinn fantastic but not that bust we'll

have a look at this so what are we gonna open now

we're gonna have a look at this mask why the box is all connected and Tate what

he's complaining about it but when I was a kid growing up

obviously you grow up as a kid why do I keep saying I grow up as a kid so I mean

boxes and stuff when I was a kid you just had a toy in a bubble wrap box

thing I don't know what I'm talking about you had a toy in like a bubble and

then a cardboard and then he just ripped it open and played with it now every toy

is like seriously that it's glued and it's like stuck on and it's like

sellotape stapled and got those ready wiry plastic meat things I don't know

what I'm talking about kind of do know we're supposed to come

on seriously glued and like stapled and I don't know what and I got like an

angry face okay you gotta like twist and pull these toy companies I swear can you

say my generation was the worst light pollution there how many cardboard trees

do you thick cardboard trees how many trees do you think took to make this and

plastic and glue and stuff like that I still am struggling even though I

understand its concept now I have obviously not got a child head that's

what it's as the sound I make when I'm under think your kids will love it

I certainly love it I think it brings out the best quality of my face which is

hiding it try to fix it ah Mikey no I got the flat pop I know okay oh corn on

corn again or not you search my first you sure screw a

furnace right ah I have never done of that I am very bad Namastey got this

flat that flat was going up my nose and it was hurting quite a lot and

apparently it goes like that and then it's supposed to like go oh the eyebrows

race you won't like me when I'm angry I do fear the economy is getting worse

oh it's very lifelike I mean again the masks when I was a kid it just had like

a mask with the name of the person on it because they ran outta dye my Darth

Vader costume when I was a kid just had like this plastic Darth Vader mask with

the holes in and it was just a triangle face really and it just had this yellow

writing saying Darth Vader says it's like they gave up in the wrong time to

tell you okay so here is Harley Quinn

Medicine Woman Harley Quinn there's Harley Quinn there's Harley Quinn's bust

I've got to put my head back on because I miss my hair yeah my stationary hat is

just my station Hey what oh I'm gonna take this back but to be honest I think

I could take this back and just say hey mine's broken and I think I'm pretty

much guaranteed a new one but the the arm are part of the Quinn unless I'm I

told otherwise that she's got supernatural abilities to move her hands

I think the bust is broken and there's a Harley Quinn's bust and it busted Harley

Quinn's bust on the bust in the hands busted Harley Quinn's busted bust try to

stick that hand on to show you guys what it's supposed to look like okay so if it

wasn't broken that's what it would look like and I gotta say that looks kind of

cool I think I was for like 1999 which isn't a bad price but like every woman

in my life you disappoint I thought you would be different highly

especially that you're not real I got my other ladies I do not it okay

so okay so that's Harley Quinn and that's kind of like well obviously now

also with these warning fragile no crap it's fragile flash bust and Deathstroke

bust which I kind of like that show he's down

Oh metals diecast which is kind of like pop but isn't pop but it's kind of like

pop but it's metallic joke Abbas Harley Quinn Deadshot killer croc Killer Croc

Deadshot Harley Quinn Joker bus and the Joker so we got so many different

characters of the same characters okay I don't know did you like this guy did you

like Suicide Squad I didn't did you like the Joker's performance I didn't but

there again I must be the only one because everybody seems to rave these

movies and I don't know why but that's okay you're entitled to your own opinion

guys I am NOT gonna open this one I know I am in a boxing channel that I open

boxes and stuff like that these will be I'll be sorting you Harlequin out but

I'll be going to the charity shop and getting rid of those but if you want to

win this bad boy please come in and like this video

you can also share this video to your friends and family and say hey this

idiot is giving away something from the best movie of all time Suicide Squad

mm-hmm I will select one lucky winner one lucky

winner to receive one these if I select two and I give away one it's only one

and with

okay so there you go that is my unboxing for this week I hope you guys enjoyed it

please give this video a like if you liked it and subscribe if you haven't

already done so for more builds and more boxing's and I will get some more

gameplays if you like gameplay so guys until the next video Robbie Bobbie signing out considering your hand is broken Harley you look kind

of pretty

Let's see what happens if you turn the lights off!

Wow, look at her swimming!

As soon as you put her in the water she swims!

She knows!

Let's give her a friend.

Let's give her this AquaBot 2.0.

It's a little fish!

Is she real?!

Well guys, we see how she looks swimming in water right?

Should we see what she looks like swimming in SLIME?

Lucy, should we see what Pinkie Pie looks like if she swims in SLIME?

Yea!

OK!

Here comes the slime!

Guys, should we see what Pinkie Pie looks like in the slime?

1, 2, 3!

She's swimming in the slime.

She's all slimy guys!

She's swimming!

Let's see with the lights out!

Wow!

The AquaBot!

Look at it go!

Poor fish is trying to swim.

These guys are saying, "Get me out of the slime, man!"

Ew, Gross!

The slime is so thick!

Shadowrun: Hong Kong Extended Edition Review | Cyberpunk Isometric Turn-Based RPG - Duration: 12:58.

Good mornin-afternoo-vening, chummers and welcome to the final episode of Shadowrun

September during which I'll be looking at the final title - as of yet - in the relatively

recent Shadowrun loose trilogy of games from Harebrained Schemes, this is Shadowrun: Hong

Kong Extended Edition.

A big part of the appeal of the Shadowrun games stems from how well they can create

a believable world.

Granted, a solid story and great gameplay will always be considerably more important,

but without a proper setting, the games would just boil down to a few turn-based combat

encounters with a bunch of reading stuffed in between them.

Placing the story and gameplay within a setting that can not only support them, but actually

tie them together, is of critical importance.

All I can say is that Harebrained Schemes managed a wonderful job at it.

You can almost smell the sea air mixed with garbage and hear some gaudily colored neons

buzzing and flickering in the background.

Everything looks as desolate, dingy and dangerous as it should be, an impression that is only

heightened by the very well-written text descriptions.

I have to mention upfront that in order to get the very most enjoyment out of the game's

story, you'll have to do a serious amount of reading, much more-so than during Dragonfall.

Now, I have nothing against it, I actually would love novelizations of both Dragonfall

and Hong Kong stories, maybe with each companion getting their own chapter, or several chapters,

or own books, but some might not have that particular affinity towards the written word

so as to enjoy the game on a purely narrative level as well as the turn-based combat one.

That being said, it is a major part of the game since Shadowrun Hong Kong isn't the

usual free-roaming RPG.

In fact, you're quite limited to the amount of locations that you can visit, NPCs that

you can interact with and in general, the things that you can do.

But as far as I'm concerned, I was so invested and focused on the story and on my companions

that I didn't really feel the need for the free-roaming options of an open world.

I just wanted to see what else I'll get to find out about them after each run, and

how the story would develop further.

That being said, exploring the maps in detail is very satisfactory since it will result

in finding items and NPCs, and sometimes even side quest-givers.

Compared with both its predecessors, the world you have at your disposal in Shadowrun: Hong

Kong seems a bit larger.

If I were to shortly describe the story, I'd have to say it's occasionally intense and

always engrossing.

Each mission, or run, being its own standalone story with unique characters and intrigue.

The way in which you choose to interact with each mission's specific characters will

dictate, to a certain degree, how that run plays out.

This is just as important as your party's make-up and your choices in approaching the

mission to begin with.

As far as general tips go, not being an asshole and trying to help people will usually result

in the most beneficial of results.

The story starts your character off being very, very fucked and requiring the help of

the underworld in order to survive and seek out the person who got you into this mess

to begin with.

It's a solid start, even though a basic, and one might say, a bit trope-ish, but on

the other hand, tropes exist for a reason, they work.

Once you look at all the games in succession - like I just did over the course of this

month - you notice how each one builds upon the accomplishments of the last.

While Dragonfall introduced very compelling companions with interesting individual stories,

Hong Kong goes further and makes the overarcing story the focus and places you at the middle

of it in a very interesting manner.

As opposed to the first two games, where the beginnings of the stories had to do with old

friends and then spun into much larger things, Hong Kong's introduction has a lot more

to do with family, your character's family to be exact, thus placing the player in a

completely different sort of relationship with the events that are taking place, because

as the game goes on, the developers manage to make things seem personal and private.

They manage this also by splicing in some disturbing dream sequences - relevant to the

plotline.

All the characters in the world seem to be having these sort of nightmares, but it was

a stroke of immersive genius to actually illustrate them for the player, as opposed to simply

telling you via a text description that you've just had a nightmare and then describe it.

Shadowrun Hong Kong brings some very interesting people that you can take with you on your

runs.

The great thing is that these are characters that have a story, but more importantly they

have a very personal history that you can choose to look into by talking to them after

each run.

Talking about one's past doesn't gel with the whole personality of being a shadowrunner

so they'll require some coaxing, but trust me when I say that once you start talking

to them, you'll be doubly interested in finishing a run.

On the one hand, there's the money and Karma rewards, and on the other, you get to talk

some more with your party about what happened in their past and as a result find out more

about them.

They're not exactly as interesting as those in Shadowrun Dragonfall were, but they're

pretty close.

Keep in mind though that I might be somewhat biased, since I found it easier to identify

to Dragonfall's characters since they are European, whilst the characters from Hong

Kong come from a completely different cultural background than mine.

But the characters in your party are not the only places where the game's writing excels,

the same can be said about the several NPCs that you'll either have to, or choose to,

interact with.

In the first camp there's your fixer - basically your manager, and a plethora of characters

relevant to each mission in particular, in the second category are all the various merchants

and random NPCs that don't really do anything.

They're just there to add to the overall story and most importantly to the atmosphere.

And saying this I'm referring to the three old men playing GO, but there are many others,

of course.

Going back to the difference in cultural background portrayed in Shadowrun: Hong Kong as opposed

to my own - I read an article after the game's initial release that explained a bit how the

simple introduction of the option to address your fixer with "aunty" - which might

seem a bit odd for most Westerners - showed in fact good knowledge of Chinese customs,

the term for "aunty" being considered both respectful and informal, considering

you're addressing a rather connected underworld actor.

And you'll find a lot of such touches throughout the game-world.

Another quite prominent part of the setting - and of the overall story - is also a specifically

Chinese one, the philosophical system of harmonizing one's environment to one's prosperous

existence, or feng shui.

While in our world, the concept is pretty much akin to and as real as magic, or belief

in deities in general; in the Awakened world of Shadowrun: Honk Kong, feng shui is actual

magic and its tenets are very real things that influence going ons in the world.

Lurking through the BBS forums is both interesting and entertaining and offers a quick glimpse

at an alternate version of the Internet.

Fuck bitching about movies or starting flame wars about which one is better: Marvel or

DC, poetry slams are the rebel outlet of the dystopian cyberpunk future.

There are also at least two, very funny, side-stories that you can follow through the BBS forums,

one of them having to do with a piece of software and the other with quite possibly the unluckiest

shadowrunning team ever.

The Matrix got seriously revamped, things look largely the same but everything is much

more detailed, brighter and considerably more dynamic.

The patrolling programs now have a cone of sight - which you can thankfully see, and

move on some very criss-crossing and intersecting routes.

You need to carefully navigate through the patrols, timing and positioning being key

to either not getting detected, or to getting detected as late in the hack as possible.

They made hacking somewhat challenging and even a bit nerve wracking, it's nothing

more complicated than remembering the correct order of a series of increasing numbers of

digits, but the fact that it all takes place on a timer makes the entire thing much more

involving.

Shadowrun: Hong Kong piles on loads of replay value, especially if we compare it to Shadowrun

Returns.

The main difference being that in Return's case, its replay value was all based on game

system and mechanics, whilst Hong Kong is worth a replay from a story standpoint as

well.

There are various places where you can make different decisions, especially when it comes

to your party make-up, which in turn will influence your play-style, so suffice to say

that Shadowrun Hong Kong has a metric fucktonne of replay value.

As far as the combat system and the classes go, what I said in my Shadowrun: Dragonfall

review is pretty much still valid, although I must say that Shadowrun Hong Kong seems

to be a bit better balanced, either because it increased the amount of HP or of abilities,

or both.

Regardless, when combined with the Matrix overhaul, the combat mechanics in Shadowrun:

Hong Kong are the best of all the three Shadowrun titles.

I like to consider myself one of the view video game reviewers who put particular accent

on a game's soundtrack.

Music and sounds are always an important part of atmosphere, especially when you have such

a thematic setting.

Shadowrun Hong Kong's soundtrack manages to blend the basics of the Shadowrun Returns

soundtrack with a completely different influence, one that is very Chinese in nature.

However, due to this influence, while it makes it work great when supporting the game, it

doesn't work as well when you listen to it on its own.

Whilst the Returns and Dragonfall soundtracks are still very much present on my phone and

I listen to them every now and then.

And since I'm reviewing the Extended Edition, I should also mention what makes it Extended.

You get a few more runs tacked on, after the end of the main storyline and I can say that

in general these runs are characterized by rather long combat encounters.

A couple of them are optional but I would suggest against skipping them since taking

them will only increases your play-time and also gives you access to more Karma points

and money to further upgrade your character.

Granted, only your character can continue growing, your companions will be stuck at

their last level of development, but you can still give them new weapons and whatnot.

There is also a developers commentary option available in the menu now as well, which you

can turn on and listen to that while you play.

I could go on for a bit longer going a bit more in depth with the game, story and characters

but i hope that my point has been made fairly well till now.

Shadowrun Hong Kong is a great RPG, it has an engrossing story, interesting characters

and comes with inherent replay value.

The gameplay mechanics have been fine tuned and polished, so much so, that I would actually

like to play the Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun Dragonfall campaigns within Hong Kong's

engine.

I am curious what you gals and guys thought of Shadowrun Hong Kong, how does it stack

up in your opinion?

Also let me know of some other cyberpunk titles that you might want me to take a look at,

be they video games or tabletop ones.

Also open for suggestions in terms of books and comic books as well, just drop 'em down

in the comments.

And it's about time for some final thoughts on Shadowrun September and the Shadowrun series.

I started this look at the Shadowrun titles spurred on by the results of the Larian survey

which showed that many of the respondents have never played Shadowrun: Hong Kong nor

the first two Fallouts.

And while my friends from GamingHD have been talking about the Fallout series - and you'll

find links to their videos in the description, consider those companion videos to mine - I

focused on revisiting the Shadowrun series, to do my part in trying to convince as many

of you of how solid these games truly are.

And I also hope that the titles' steady increase in level of gameplay and story is

reflected in my videos as well.

Keep in mind that we start with a relatively simple murder mystery in Seattle, we then

switch over to Europe where we deal with some interesting philosophical and political subjects

- not to mention the most compelling characters in the entire series - to then end in Hong

Kong, where we're plunged into a more personal type of story, with arguably higher stakes

than the previous ones.

It's a trip around the Awakened world that could've been just for show, as long as

it stayed true to the basics of Shadowrun cyberpunk dystopia: megacorporations trying

to screw each other, magic, cybernetic implants, underworld power struggles and solid turn-based

combat.

But the settings in the Shadowrun games aren't there just to offer a splash of local colour,

they're an integral part of each game's story and characters, and that's one thing

that is very difficult to keep consistent, or double and triple down on, when making

a video game franchise.

But this is one major difference when said video game franchise is supported by its dedicated

community - through crowdfunding projects - instead of the subsequent games becoming

diluted or streamlined - or multiplayer being shoehorned in at a publisher's demand - so

as to make the games more mainstream palatable.

So make sure you support your favorite indie projects, that's where we're getting the

most amount of innovation and interesting gameplay and stories anyway.

Keep it Shadowrun chummers, null sheen.

Daredevil #26 Review - Duration: 2:50.

Written by Charles Soule Penciled by Ron Garney

With Blindspot missing, Daredevil helps to take care of the people of Chinatown.

He takes the cards to Sam's sister Hannah to translate the cards from Chinese though

she's not much of a willing participant.

Finally she reads him one that really gets his attention - one addressed to him.

Later Matt explains to the DA that he needs to take a leave of absence and after all he's

done for the city, he's granted time off.

On his way out he tells his coworker Ellen that he recently received a letter from Sam.

Living in China he needs help.

Back at Foggy's apartment, he has his former-and-now-once-again best friend to ship his costume to him.

Foggy warns him that it's a trap but Matt is persistent.

He arrives and although he could have come in under an alias, he's using his real identity

as an attorney.

He's questioned and released, eventually going out to do some sight seeing but misses Foggy's

call in the process.

Finally he gets to the temple that Blindspot directed him to in the letter.

Inside, Ten Fingers is dragged before some demonic monster who ignores the former Hand

henchman's cries for mercy, and attacks with some sort of weird eye-rope things.

Outside Daredevil hears the cries.

Making sure to keep a clear mind, he leaps into action and avoids the throwing stars

almost perfectly.

There before him stands several Hand warriors.

He holds nothing back and fights for keeps.

Standing off to the side, he notices one warrior just keeps watch.

The issue ends with the Hand goons pausing the fight.

Daredevil calls out the lone bystander.

He leaps down and Matt recognizes his voice.

He's punched unconscious and there stands Blindspot with eyes aglow.

He tells the others to take him away and with that, we're left to be continued.

It's been a long time since we saw Ron Garney back at the pencils on this book.

Too long.

This is what made the book good in the first place, as some of the replacement artists

have lately left quite a bit to be desired.

Charles Soule is a masterful writer, creating deep and complex characters in this series

and Ron Garney is the perfect one to put it on a page.

This arc is startging off with a boom.

The Hand.

Blindspot.

Daredevil in China...

I can't wait to see where it goes from here.

I give this one a 9/10.

StrucciWatch: Little Evil Review - Duration: 4:19.

I'm glad that I try not to let hype or preconceived notions influence my approach to individual

movies much because as a huge Tucker & Dale vs Evil fan going into this movie the disappointment

would have devastated me.

This movie is awful and it's made even more awful coming on the heels of one of the best

horror-comedy films of the past several years, if not one of the best horror-comedy films

ever made.

Tucker & Dale Vs Evil is a slasher film parody that's as good-natured as it is subversive,

questioning classist tropes about psycho rednecks without being heavy-handed or preachy.

It's a really rare balance of gore, humor, and heart, and I can't recommend it enough,

especially if you want to get more into horror (or at least meta horror) and want something

that isn't dour torture porn.

There's one wildly out of place rape joke at the end that doesn't fit the tone of the

film even slightly but the rest of it is perfect.

I felt with Okja that maybe Bong Joon-Ho should have been reeled in a little bit by Netflix, and Little

Evil is similar but sooo much worse.

It feels like a first draft first feature screenplay, not a sophomore film, and the same

goes for the editing and the cinematography.

Tucker & Dale doesn't have a particularly striking visual or editing style but both

are competent and service a clever screenplay and great performances.

Little Evil looks and plays like Edgar Wright was kidnapped and forced to direct a made-for-TV

Omen parody.

There are a couple of fun shots but it's mostly boring, standard coverage interrupted

by knockoff Wright transitions that are jarring and unnecessary to the extent that they're

perplexing.

Scott was already in a perfect comedy-horror movie- it's called Krampus- and he does his

best here but Krampus gave him soooo much more to work with and his performance in that

film is more believable and compelling.

Tucker & Dale doesn't have as many direct allusions as something like Cabin in the Woods

or Shaun of the Dead does- it's more of a play on a host of cliches rather than direct

references.

Little Evil steps up the references but they're all insultingly shallow.

The Omen is the most obvious here but bits and pieces bring up The Shining, Poltergeist,

maybe The Babadook, definitely Ghostbusters, but it's mostly easy visual homage as a gag

or an attempt at a scare, or even just characters saying the words "Gozer" and "Keymaster".

It's not nearly AS BAD as something like Epic Movie, but it's similar in how it throws references

hoping to endear itself to an audience or get a laugh.

What makes Shaun of the Dead an incredible film is the fact that it's a frightening zombie

movie with emotional depth that also has a dense script packed with allusions and Easter

eggs, not just a sub-par comedy script with horror references tacked on.

The only positive thing I can really say about Little Evil is one of the main characters

is a trans man and he's handled pretty well.

I mean best case scenario is getting actual trans actors for trans roles, but barring

that it's neat to see a trans man just be one of the dudes and he reminds me of trans

people I actually know- not a hateful stereotype but not a perfect idealized representation

either- he's just a dude.

I've seen at least one review and the wiki page call Al a "lesbian" but to me if

you have a dude saying "Hi, I'm Al, I'm a dude and a stepdad", just let him be a

dude.

Maybe it's some big dumb joke that went over my head about a butch lesbian being masculine

but my interpretation and what seems like the wider interpretation in the LGBT community

around the film, especially giving a benefit of the doubt because Tucker & Dale is a relatively

sweet, progressive film, is that Al is a dude, and I liked him.

One progressive choice is never enough to carry a film, though, and the rest of the

movie just sucks.

It's a shame Little Evil ended up the way it did.

I think it would have made a fun low-budget TV show or miniseries.

It isn't as good but it reminded me of Todd & the Book of Pure Evil, a really weird and

hysterical Canadian cult show that combines crass dark humor with occult, stoner, and heavy metal

imagery.

I could see this working as a Todd or a Psych or a Reaper or a Pushing Daisies, just as

a fun quirky TV show with some horror or dark comedy elements rather than an awkward and

rushed movie.

As-is, this is maybe the worst new movie I've seen this year, even if just from a screenwriting

and editing standpoint.

The horror allusions don't really work past a surface level so it won't appeal much

to horror nerds and it isn't funny or scary enough to appeal to a wider audience.

You'd be better-suited to watching Todd or Tucker & Dale, the former using a campy,

schlocky lens to be endlessly creative and surprising and the latter performing a wonderful

balancing act between gore and lighthearted humor, rather than spending time with this

movie.

Morgan Jurgenson was credited as a screenwriter on Tucker & Dale while Little Evil was a solo

effort by Eli Craig so maybe some of the spark and intelligence and creativity went with

him.

I have no idea.

Either way, the world didn't need a shallow Omen parody, especially in 2017.

Craig is undoubtedly talented and I'll still be keeping up with his releases but as far

as Little Evil is concerned, someone at Netflix or just generally someone who cares about

him should have given him some notes.

Hey! Thank you for watching!

Zero Tolerance 0055 Knife Review. A ZT and GTC (Gus T. Cecchini) Collab Yo. - Duration: 6:59.

Some people hate flippers, some people love them.

I like them OK.

Now seeing as knives are cutting tools and really nothing more- manufacturers constantly

have to add some new bullshit to get you to buy them.

So while you have a standard flipper, some people need to make flippers cooler.

Good for them.

So let's take a closer look at the new flipper collaboration between GTC knives and Zero

Tolerance called the 0055- although Cedric & ADA is still waiting for the ZT 80085 to

drop.

So let's check out these dimensions.

Like the length and weight overall.

The blade length and cutting edge, the handle size and grip area.

Spine thickness and handle thickness, and tallness closed and flipper protrusion.

Fellow knife channel and YouTuber Tovarish works loaned me this knife to check out, and

I think he recorded a brief statement for this one too... so let's hope he keeps it

nicer this time.

Whats up everybody?

Im TovarishWorks.

If youre sick and tired of watching Advanced Knife Bros videos on really crummy Chinese

knives, come on over to my channel and watch videos on real knives like this custom Thorburn.

Ok the 0055 has a unique blade shape, as to make old people say I liked it when a knife

used to look like a knife.

It is a reverse tanto blade shape, with what is called a compound grind.

Which seems like a flat grind in two areas, because knife sharpening shouldn't be boring.

The blade is made from wear and low price resistant S35VN.

Looks nice if you're into angles or as sailfishsound system put it- robot turds.

The blade is deployed by a most likely patented- they all cut but does yours open like this...

flipping mechanism called a SLT flipper stud.

It hides away when closed and open as to make the rest of your $225 pocketknife easier to

bang against your keys, instead of the flipper getting snagged on it.

Now if you're familiar with a Kershaw or Zero Tolerance speed safe, and you're crossing

your fingers and hoping this a little harder to open, you're going to be a very happy knife

bro.

The way it works is you gently pull back on the stud or tab as real knife people call

it and wait for the stop, then give it a twice as hard as a speedsafe amount of pull and

it opens on it's smooth ball bearing system.

It's technically not an assisted, but it has a strong detent.

The stud hides away when open.

It's pull, harder pull click, pull harder pull click.

It works best when you give it just enough force to open- so it'll take a few deploys

getting used to.

Very hard strong pulls actually make it harder to deploy, which sounds weird- but so does

$225 when a non knife person asks how much that cost.

So don't try jerking it open in a single pull.

The blade is locked into place by a titanium frame lock with a removable steel insert so

it can endure many years of long hard use.

In theory.

The frame lock thankfully isn't a whole lot harder to disengage than the knife is to deploy.

While this knife is fun to deploy, long term fidgeting is generally fatiguing on your fingers-

so it's like a speed safe in that regard.

The handle is is nice and long, and made from two tabs of milled and sculpted titanium...

the knife is kinda heavy but I guess it could be heavier without the milling.

It's a partially open backed design with a blue anodized aluminum backspacer for beauty.

The handle fit my hand well and isn't too slippery because of the angles.

It looks like gandalfs staff.

However without the flipper protruding while it's opening, there isn't much of a guard

there, but the profile gets larger so your hand probably won't slip during suppositious

use.

Probably.

The pocket clip is reversible to the right or left side in a tip up configuration only.

It ain't deep carry.

Expect just under an inch to stick out of your pocket.

Ok let's partially recycle a quick comparison I did on my last Zero Tolerance review.

Which is perfectly fine because that review just barely cracked 2k views- meaning most

of my subscribers and the internet haven't watched it anyway.

First is the 0770.

Functionally and practically I prefer this Zero Tolerance.

It's a lighter and a more unassuming pocket carry.

Harder to hold in wet conditions, and less likely to arouse our robot overlords.

Smaller blade, by about half an inch.

Then the Lion Steel SR-11.

It's a smooth flipper a little less fatiguing to flip.

No jimping on the tab, even though there is some light jimping on this one.

I think I've said everything there is to say about this one.

Then the 0350, shorter and about an ounce heavier.

And more arousing to felines, but not Nutnfancys.

Then the actual fun to fidget with and the co-cheapest knife in the whole bunch by a

lot the Spyderco Paramilitary 2.

There's a reason why people like this knife so much.

You can fidget with it for a while, and not hurt your tender hands.

If you could only spend over $100 on any knife in this bunch this is the one.

If you like this review subscribe to TovarishWork's fancy custom knife channel, and not this one.

Comment, and give it a thumbs up, and ask why I didn't baton with this one- thanks for

watching
