North Korean officials have reportedly been trying to arrange talks with Republican analysts
in Washington to learn more about President Trump and his strategies.
The Washington Post reports that Pyongyang has reached out to seven organizations that
helped arrange meetings between the two countries in the past.
None of the organizations agreed to speak with the officials.
One person with direct knowledge of the North's approach says North Korea's number one concern
is President Trump.... because they cannot figure him out.
However, the Washington Post says that, while North Korea has been sending requests for
talks to experts, there's no suggestion the regime is interested in negotiations about
its nuclear program.
