The generalist investors weigh early in a bull market, which is where I think we are.

Buying the biggest and the best is the best strategy.

The truth is that metals markets are so volatile and so cyclical that it's not unusual to

enjoy threefold gains over the course of a bull market in the biggest and best entities

in the market.

If you can enjoy threefold gains with, at least from

a sector point of view, fairly minimal risk, the idea that investors that

aren't willing to take the time to do the work to go farther down the quality chain,

the returns to them relative to the risk that they would take without doing

the work are minimal.

So the names, if you believe in the copper cycle-- which I do-- would be names like BHP

and Rio, the first names that you would come to.

And from a generalist investor's point of view for the next two years, I don't see any

particular reason to do anything beyond those two names.

For industry investors-- that is, people who are willing to do the work, people who understand

how to evaluate mining company balance sheets and income statements,

and have access, at least, to technical information-- there's more money to be made in the smaller

companies, and better money to be made in the private debt

markets associated with the copper space.

But I think for probably half the viewers of Real Vision, the truth is that there's

going to be fairly easy money to be made over the cycle in the biggest and

best companies in the sector without the volatility and the occasional

heartache that you'd suffer in more challenging but more lucrative names.

I, of course, will ignore that advice, and take the more challenging names.

I'm A Celebrity: How much to Ant and Dec get paid to present the ITV show? Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly's staggering wage packet revealed

Get Me Out Of Here! presenters Ant and Dec reel in a healthy wage packet for their roles on the ITV show. Get Me Out Of Here! presenters Ant and Dec get paid a lot to host the ITV show [ITV].

While we love watching Im A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here! to see the likes of Georgia Toffolo and Amir Khan carry out ridiculous Bushtucker trails, theres another reason why weve been addicted to the show for over a decade.

But the presenting icons that are Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly dont jet off to Australia for the ITV show year on year just to keep us viewers happy.

I'm A Celebritys Ant and Dec earn £2. 5 million a month from ITV [ITV]. The duo, who are worth a colossal £62million each, make a LOT of money from the channel.

In fact, the earn a whopping £2. 5million a month from ITV, which is roughly the amount of time theyll be setting up camp down under. In fact last year, the duo earned a staggering £79,000 a day each, The Sun reported.

Which is not too shabby. Ant and Dec work exclusively with ITV [Getty].

Discover how to use your camera's ISO to take great and better baby pictures - Duration: 12:37.

Discover how to use your camera's ISO

to take great baby pictures

In this video I will explain what ISO is

and how you can use it with digital baby photography

Back in the day before digital cameras were used

ASA film was used

When we wanted to take great baby pictures in the light of day

we would usually use an ASA 100 photo film

When the Sun went down

We would have to change it to the ASA 400 photo film

Nowadays everything is digital and so is your photo camera

That is why in digital photography ASA

has been replaced by ISO

When you're in a dark bedroom at night

you won't see much because there is hardly any light

If you stay in that room for a while

your eyes will adjust to the dark

and you'll find it easier to clearly see your surroundings

How does that work?

The little light that does enter the bedroom enters through your eyes

Your brain notices the lack of light

and will amplify the small amount of light that is available

so you can see something in the dark

Your camera works in the same way

In a photo camera the light will enter through the lens

If there's little light the camera can amplify the light

so that you can still clearly see the subject

You are now shown two pictures

The left baby picture is taken without the camera amplifying the available light

You can see that the picture is dark

The baby picture on the right on the other hand

has been taken when the camera has amplified the light

Do you notice the difference?

Your brain amplifies the light

This doesn't happen consciously it happens automatically

If there is too little your brain automatically amplifies the light

In a photo camera a computer inside your camera amplifies the light

If there is too little light

the computer in your camera will automatically amplify the light

The computer in your photo camera is not nearly as advanced as your brain

A photo camera doesn't know how exactly you want to take a picture

That's why your camera is equipped with a setting

so you can manually tell your camera

how much you want the light to be amplified

The setting in your camera to set this information with is called ISO

ISO is expressed in a value

For example: ISO 100

ISO 200

ISO 400

ISO 800, etcetera, etcetera

The higher the ISO the more your camera will amplify the light

This is not an exact science but you can usually say that with

ISO 100: the light does not get amplified

ISO 200: the light gets amplified 2 times

ISO 400: the light gets amplified 4 times

So the higher your ISO the more the light gets amplified

You now see an example of a baby picture in a dark bedroom

that has been taken with an ISO 100

The light in this picture is not amplified by the camera

which makes the picture look dark

In this example the same baby picture is taken with ISO 200

So in this picture the camera has amplified the light 2 times

Did you notice that this picture already looks somewhat lighter?

In this example the same baby picture is taken again

This time with ISO 400

So in this picture the camera has amplified the light 4 times

Do you notice how well exposed this picture is despite the lack of light

On a beautiful day

there will be enough light outside to take a great baby picture

If the camera is set to ISO 100

you will get a well exposed baby picture

This baby picture was taken outside on a sunny day

with ISO 100

You now see the same baby picture

taken outside on a sunny day with two different ISO values

The first baby picture is taken with ISO 100

and the second baby picture is taken with ISO 400

In the second picture the light was amplified

and the picture is clearly overexposed

On a cloudy day there won't be enough natural light

to take a great baby picture

To be able to still take a well exposed baby picture

you could set the camera to ISO 400

The image sensor now gets exposed to light that is amplified 4 times

so you still get a well exposed baby picture

You are now looking at a picture taken outside on a cloudy day

using two different ISO values

The first baby picture is taken with ISO 100

and the second baby picture is taken with ISO 400

In the first picture the light did not get amplified

and this picture is clearly underexposed

If you use the flash your flash will provide the necessary light

to take a well exposed baby picture

When using the flash enough light is provided

so it is not necessary to increase the ISO in a normal situation

You are now looking at a baby picture that is taken with a flash on

and with ISO 100

The downsides to using the flash for your pictures is that it lacks warmth

and the colors are often hard

Now you see the same baby picture taken without a flash

and with ISO 400

Do you notice the difference in comparison to the previous picture?

To be able to take a well colored and natural baby picture

you can turn off the flash and increase the ISO to 400

to ensure a well exposed baby picture

There is always something called picture noise in a photo

Noise in photos looks like grains or spots

At ISO 100 this noise is usually invisible to the human eye

You are now shown baby pictures taken with ISO 100

ISO 200

and ISO 400

Do you notice the difference between ISO 100 and ISO 400?

In the ISO 100 part the noise is invisible

because the light is not amplified

At ISO 400 the light gets amplified 4 times

The normally invisible noise also gets amplified 4 times

Because the noise gets amplified 4 times

it might be visible in your picture

Every camera treats noise in a different way

Whether or not the noise will be visible in your baby pictures

depends on the type of camera you have

The only way to figure out at which ISO you will see noise in your pictures

is by experimentation

If there is too little light

your camera is able to amplify the available light

The setting which allows you to set

how much you want the light to be amplified is called ISO

ISO is expressed in a value

The ISO value

It is not exact science

but general rule of thumb in regards to light amplication of the ISO

is as follows:

ISO 100: the light does not get amplified

ISO 200: the light gets amplified 2 times

ISO 400: the light gets amplified 4 times

There is always noise present in a photo

which is usually invisible to the human eye

When you increase the ISO

you don't just amplify the light

you also amplify the noise

The higher the setting of the ISO

the higher your chances of having visible noise in your photo

Now you know what ISO is

and how you can use it when taking beautiful baby photos

Before you set the ISO while taking baby pictures

It is a good idea to first practice with it

1. Find out how to set the ISO on your camera

2. Grab a doll or a teddy bear

3. Take pictures of the doll or teddy bear indoors with different ISO's

4. Take pictures of the same situation with ISO 100

ISO 200

ISO 400

and if relevant ISO 800

5. Look at the pictures on your computer

and pay special attention to the difference in exposure and noise

6. Repeat this exercise with the doll or teddy bear outside

7. Take pictures of the doll or teddy bear with varying ISO's outdoors

8. Take pictures of the same situation with ISO 100

ISO 200

ISO 400

and if relevant ISO 800

9. Look at the pictures on your computer

and pay special attention to the difference in exposure and noise

10. Make sure to practice

so that you know how the ISO influences your pictures in each situation

Once you are totally familiar with it

you can use the ISO setting with confidence

while taking your own baby pictures

Important: don't forget to check your ISO before each photo session

You won't be the first person to find out

afterwards that you have a lot of noise in your pictures

because the ISO was still too high

New Report Exposes How Much Obama REALLY Spent on Vacations — So Much More Than We Thought - Duration: 5:22.

With Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas looming, many Americans are wrestling with

their budgets.

Gifts, food, and family trips will most likely add up to a small fortune.

Families will have to scrimp and save in order to go on those holiday vacations they've

been planning.

Unless, of course, you were the Obama family.

New records have come out, proving that former President Barack Obama spent way more on travel

than we previously believed.

Democrats tend to spend.

A LOT.

Their bloated government handouts put a massive burden on hard-working Americans.

We work to fund these liberals' toxic programs.

However, it seems like Barack Obama perfected spending other people's money to an art

form.

Not only did he burn through taxpayer's cash to fund Obamacare, food stamps, and wasteful

agencies, he was spending our money personally like a drunk kid on prom night!

Last year, it was reported that Obama spent over $85 million dollars of taxpayer money

to fund his trips and campaign expenses, but conservative group Judicial Watch has just

acquired records that show a whole lot more.

The real total cost of Barack Obama's family travel and campaigning amounts to a whopping

$114 million.

That's your money folks.

Newly released presidential travel records from the U.S. Department of the Air Force

and the Secret Service show that former President Barack Obama's family vacations and campaign

expenses cost taxpayers $114 million…

The latest batch of documents released by the two agencies shows that the Obamas spent

$9,028,346.90 on non-work related travel, bringing the total amount of personal travel

expenses during Obama's presidency to $114,691,322.17.

[Source: Breitbart] None of us should be surprised that Obama

spent lots of our money while in office.

However, this amount really takes the cake.

You can expect costs related to work travel.

The President goes all around the world to meet with leaders and attends important summits.

With him go staff, personnel, and Secret Service.

Security needs to clear every place the President goes to ensure it is safe.

That kind of legwork doesn't come cheap.

However, knowing this is a burden the Secret Service goes through every time Obama boarded

an airplane, you'd think the man would have been a bit more conscientious and perhaps

reduce the amount of vacationing and campaigning, you know, for the sake of the taxpayer.

Nope!

The additional records show Secret Service and Air Force expenses for two Obama family

vacations that took place the weekend of February 14, 2014, and two campaign trips Michelle

Obama made to North Carolina to campaign for Hillary Clinton in 2016.

The two vacations, which included Michelle Obama's annual trip to Aspen, Colorado,

with her daughters and former President Obama's annual golfing trip to Palm Springs, cost

the Secret Service $272,192.91, records show.

[Source: Breitbart] Of course, there were Michelle's campaign

trips.

Those cost the Air Force $40,902.40.

The plane she flew in had an operating cost of $5,312 per hour!

President Obama also traveled to Chicago numerous times during the last three years of his presidency.

The cost?

A mere $7 million.

And, guess what?

He's still traveling on the taxpayers' dime!

But Obama's taxpayer-funded trips did not end there: Secret Service documents showed

that Obama spent nearly $2 million of taxpayer money on post-presidency travel.

The former president's travel destinations, however, were redacted for "privacy" and

"law enforcement" reasons.

[Source: Breitbart] It seemed like Obama viewed the office of

the President as a symbol of wealth and status.

Instead of serving the public, he indulged.

Instead of viewing it as a duty, he partied.

Again and again.

He wasn't so much concerned with improving the United States (or protecting our freedoms)

as he was packing the White House with celebrities and flying on his private plane.

So far, President Donald Trump's travel has cost taxpayers only a fraction of what

Obama spent.

The documents also show that Trump spent $2,821,367.34 on non-work related travel, bringing the total

known travel costs for the president and his family to $10,381,792.35.

Air Force documents show that Trump has spent $1.1 million of taxpayer money on two trips

he made to his Mar-a-Lago resort in April 2017 to meet with Chinese President Ji Jinping

and to celebrate Easter.

[Source: Breitbart] Do you think President Trump's travel will

end up being as costly as Obama's?

Perhaps he'll be a little more considerate with our money?

Let us know your thoughts.

If you have any friends that still think Obama was an amazing President, be sure to show

them these numbers!

Ask Admissions: How much time will my child be in class versus out of class? - Duration: 1:22.

How much time will my child be in class versus out of class? So your child is

going to take a certain number of credit hours each semester, and the average

number of credit hours ranges somewhere from about 12 to 15. What that means

is that your child will actually be in the classroom for about 12 to 15 hours

each week, so when they were in high school they likely took the same classes

every day. They were probably there from about 7:30 to 3:00 or some variation of

that. But now that they're in college, they're going to be taking a different

class at different times each day, but often times no more than about 12, 15, 18

credit hours. A typical class ranges from about 3 to 5 credit hours, so you're

looking at somewhere between 4 to 6 classes each semester. And that's great,

given that the college experience is intended to be a holistic development of

your students abilities and skills. So for example, at Illinois we offer over

1,000 registered student organizations in which students can get involved in

and participate, anything from the squirrel watchers to the Quidditch team,

to sports to fraternities and sororities. So there's a lot of opportunities for

students to get involved and get actual hands-on experiences that also includes

internships through the career service center.

Discover how to use the aperture of your camera to take beautiful baby pictures - Duration: 10:39.

Discover how to use the aperture of your camera to make beautiful baby pictures

In this tutorial I will teach you what aperture is

and how you can use it to make great baby pictures

Look such a pretty and cute baby picture

Notice how good the lighting on the baby is

and how the baby appears sharp in the foreground

while the background is nice and blurry

You can achieve this result by setting the aperture of your camera manually

Before I tell you how to do that

and how you yourself can take great baby pictures like this

I will first explain to you what the aperture is

A camera can be compared to your own head

Think about this

A camera has a lens

A lens works the same way as your eye

A camera has an aperture

In your eye that's called the pupil

A camera has an image sensor which registers the image

In your head the image is registered by your brain

Simply put the aperture of your camera is the light opening in your lens

The aperture determines how much light will enter through the lens

and onto the image sensor of your camera

So the aperture of your camera works similarly to the pupil of your eye

Aperture can change size

and determines how much light can enter into your camera

If there is a lot of light

your pupil will shrink to prevent too much light coming into your eye

On the other hand if there is very little light

your pupil will enlarge to let more light in

Aperture works the same way

If a lot of light is present

the aperture in the lens will shrink

to make sure that your camera will not pick up too much light

If there's very little light

the aperture in the lens will enlarge

to allow more light to enter into your camera

Let's look at a couple of examples

These cute baby pictures were taken at night

inside and in the dark

As you can tell from the picture there isn't much light present

If you want to take a great baby picture at night or in the dark

it is recommended that you use the large aperture setting

The larger aperture will allow more light to enter into the camera

Which is desirable because there is not much light available

If you don't use a flash

your camera will automatically use a larger aperture at night

to allow enough light to enter the camera

This will ensure that a well-lit picture can still be taken

even in the dark

These baby pictures were taken outside during the day

To take pretty baby pictures during the day

you want to use a smaller aperture

because there is usually sufficient light available during the day

a smaller aperture will ensure that too much light won't enter your camera

If you want to take nice baby pictures on a very sunny day

It's best to use a very small aperture

It's necessary so that too much light won't enter into your camera

On a sunny day your camera will automatically use a smaller aperture

to prevent too much light from entering the camera

and to prevent overexposed baby pictures

Aperture is designated with the letter F and a number

As you can see

a big aperture has a big opening and is designated with a small number

Vice-versa

a small aperture has a small opening

and is designated with a big number

This is what aperture looks like at F1.4, F10 and F22

The smaller the F-number the bigger the opening of the aperture

So at F1.4 the aperture is open wide

For aperture

the smaller the F-number the bigger the opening of the aperture

The bigger the F-number the smaller the opening of the aperture

When taking baby pictures

aperture does not only influence the amount of light

that comes into the camera

But it also influences the sharpness of the items in the pictures

Let's take a look at how

you can influence the amount of sharpness in a baby picture

You've probably seen a picture like this somewhere

The baby in the picture is sharp and the background is blurry

Rather similar to the picture at the beginning of this tutorial

Do you see the difference with this picture?

In this picture the baby is sharp as well as the background

You can influence the amount of sharpness in the picture with aperture

This is also known as depth of field of a picture

In baby photography

it can be really cool and worth your time to experiment with this

The depth of field of a baby picture is the depth in a picture that is sharp

In a picture with a lot of depth of field

The items in both the foreground and the background are sharp

A picture with little depth of field

has a subject in the foreground that is sharp

and a blurry background

You can influence the depth of fields of your baby picture

by changing your aperture

This rule is important to remember

The number of your aperture

is related to the amount of sharpness in your picture

If you set the aperture on a low number

you will have the sharpness on a small part of your picture

If you set the aperture on a high number

a big area of your picture will be sharp

Let's take a look at the different aperture settings

If you set your aperture at F2.8

then only the subject of your photo will be sharp

and everything around it will be blurry

If you set the aperture at F8

your entire picture will probably be sharp

The setting possibilities of aperture are different for every lens

Often the reach of aperture is written on the front of the lens

In this case it says F3.5 through 9

In other words

This lens cannot be set smaller than F3.5

and cannot be set higher than F9

Aperture is the light opening of your camera lens

and it determines how much light

the image sensor of your camera is exposed to through the lens

In case of a lot of light you use a small aperture

and in case of very little light you use a larger aperture

The aperture is marked with the letter F followed by a number

A large aperture has a big opening and a small F number

The depth of field of your pictures can be determined by using the aperture

If you set your aperture at a small number

a small area of your picture will be sharp

If you set the aperture at a big number

a large area of your picture will be sharp

Now you know what aperture is

and how you can use it to take great baby pictures

it's time to start practicing

Figure out how you can set the aperture on your camera

Find a spot with subjects at different distances from you and your camera

Take pictures from this location with different aperture settings

Pay attention to the difference in sharpness

blurriness and the exposure of your pictures

Then find a subject that is close to you and has a lot of space behind it

Try to adjust the aperture in such a way that the subject is sharp

and the background is fully blurry

This will isolate your subject from the background

Now do the same thing but in reverse

Find a spot with a view

and take a picture of your baby in the foreground

Set your aperture in a way that both your baby

and the background are sharp

Use this setting

if the background is important for the story that you want to tell

How Important is Sleep for Athletes: Surprising NEW Info - Duration: 3:09.

How important is sleep for athletes?

How important is sleep for athletes I think the answer is going to surprise

you I've never seen anyone else talk about this before so this is really

exciting brand new info this is quick and dirty I think use let's jump right

in I'm David Barr and if you're looking to

get there fast or strong or get lean or go longer hit the subscribe and then

that little bell so you don't miss anything so the key to sleep and

recovery is about something called the CNS now the trick is you may have heard

the CNS may be not totally cool but if you've heard of it

most people don't actually know it it sure you can ask and they'll say ok

central nervous system but what is that once you probe further you realize

people don't know what it is really simple an Tomiko distinction brain in

the spinal cord now this is the key to sleep this is why we sleep and this is

relatively new information because what happens when we sleep our brain actually

shuts down and a new system takes over it's called the lymphatic system and

it's a bit like a janitor coming in to clean up the crap after a day of school

clean up after the kids the kids come back in the next day and everything is

clean they don't know anything off the jander's work well that's what the

glymphatic system is it's like the janitor when we go to sleep ok that's

why we can't learn when we're sleeping unfortunately but it's helping to

consolidate our memories from the previous day including motor memories so

it's not just things we take in with our eyes and ears it's also going to be

motor learning those skills that we learn during the day it's going to help

bake in the results that we got from the training the day before it's going to

help with that motor learning responsible that strength adaptation

that kind of thing so that is the key to sleep or athletes sure we don't want to

hurt our growth hormone response that's not something that's going to have a

huge impact it's really more about the gloaming fax system and the CNS now

there is one more trick we do want about six to eight hours of sleep a night

everybody's different but the key is cortisol is a catabolic steroid normally

we don't want this stuff and during sleep it's great that's levels are low

because it's an anti-inflammatory and when we're sleeping we want that

inflammation process to occur inflammation seems like a dirty words

most people it's not when it's part of our

natural growth adaptation recovery response when it gets out of control

then it's a problem but normally we actually want the inflammation response

and that's what the absence of cortisol is going to help facilitate so you

probably notice that you only get sore after you wake up in the morning well

that's because we have low cortisol I think anyway no Dogma here this is also

the other key this absence of cortisol not directly anabolic but by

facilitating by allowing that inflammation response to occur that's

where we're going to have that growth adaptation recovery response that we're

often so sleep is very important but not for the reasons that people think it is

so hopefully the answers your FAQ quick and dirty is a quick and dirty answer

hopefully you found this helpful probably know someone else who could use

it give it a share with them probably owe you a protein shake hit that

subscribe and the little bell so you don't miss anything and until next time

raise the bar
