You have a big event coming up where you're supposed to speak and you're all stressed out or was the biggest what-if

public speaking

What if I figure my speech on stage?

Well, should you memorize a speech what should you not?

Stay tuned. It's coming up

I am Victoria Newseum skin and health interpreters overcome the fear of public speaking and

Transform into confident compelling and captivating speakers

I post videos on my youtube channel every Wednesday

So make sure to subscribe and also click the little bell icon to be notified anytime

There are really only four ways you can go about your speech

number one you can write out your whole speech word for word and

Read it I can't believe I just said that but there are still some people who do it

Absolute. No, do not do that

that's the worst thing you can possibly do with your speech because

even though you're gonna

Say it word for word and you're not gonna make a mistake

And you won't forget anything because you're region

It's a waste of everybody's time. It's a waste of your time. It's a waste of your audience time. You will never ever

Connect and captivate your audience

By looking at your paper. Nobody connects to you. When also you can see is the top of your head

Big-big no

Way number two wing it

Sounds crazy, but I know a few people who do it

many times I have to give a speech they just wait and

Honestly, maybe does work for people who are I don't know professional stand-up comedians or do open mics routinely

but for the rest of us

We need it may not be the ideal solution

First of all when you're trying to wing it most likely you will make mistakes, for example, you'll forget something

second

You will probably not be as

logical as

Compelling as captivating as if you had been if you actually prepared and thought your presentation through and

thirdly

Very often when you win it

Your audience can actually tell that you're not prepared

And the problem with that is that now they're thinking what you're wasting their time. Why didn't you think this through?

Why are you going back and forth? We've all sat through those?

speeches where

you just trying to

understand where the speaker is going with this because it's

Pure she is all over the place and some of you may ask well

but I've seen a speaker who was asked to go and give a speech spontaneously and

he or she was amazing and just

gives us

Impromptu speech without being prepared

But let me tell you most likely

Even though it was sperm a moment. Speech

there have been

years of preparation for it

there have been years of

knowing the material

learning the material

Learning to speak learning to present learning how to engage the audience learn how to be on stage

Really great professionals make it look effortless

So don't mistaken somebody who is effortless on stage when unit

For not being prepared they probably are

Number three

memorize the entire speech

now

It may sound like a great idea to some

It may sound crazy

to others

But hear me out

Very recently. I've been listening to an interview of

Elizabeth Gilbert the author of Eat Pray Love

She was interviewed by Marie Forleo and it was a wonderful wonderful interview and there was just a little tiny piece of it

That was about public speaking where?

Elizabeth was talking about

receiving an invitation from Oprah to talk at her mega

event and

When you get an invitation from Oprah you take it very very seriously

and you prepare and

so for six months

six months

Elizabeth Gilbert

Has been working on her speech for about two months. She's been writing it and rewriting opinion writer

Now that comes easy to her. She's an incredible writer

But then for four months she's been memorizing it

She would go for a five-mile walk every single day

and as she was walking she would be going through her speech in your head and

by the time she was given that presentation in front of

thousands and thousands of people

She was ready. She knew it by heart. She absolutely memorized it down to her bones pretty much and she was

incredible on stage here is my problem with

memorizing the speech

Unless you really are spending six months working on it

You probably won't

memorize it as well as you think and

The worst thing that can possibly happen on stage. Is you going in with a

Memorized speech and then you forget something and you join a complete blank because you take one break out

the whole building collapses because you didn't memorize

the

Logic of it the outline of it

you memorize

Every single word you memorize your presentation word-for-word

another reason why memorizing could be bad is

It may end up sounding very robotic

It may not sound genuine. It may not sound

sincere and way number four

Memorize the outline only

now

This is how it works you

memorize

the flow

The logic the outline of your presentation you memorize the skeleton of your presentation

Which means?

If you forget something

That's okay because you remember point number one point number two and twenty number three that you need to make

So if you forgot to say something point number one

you just move on to point number two and you continue going and you make it look seamless and

Effortless and it doesn't look like you made a mistake

Now you probably also want to memorize your opening and your closing

The reason you want to memorize your opening is because this is when you are

The most stressed on stage when you just come out on stage. This is where you're the most nervous

And probably memorizing those first three five sentences is not a bad idea

so memorizing the first few sentences and

Then memorizing the last few sentences

You always want to close on a very strong note

you always want to drive your point across you always want to have your call to action and

It will probably be a lot easier if you just memorized you end in

It will probably come out smooth

But the middle of it is the bulk the biggest chunk of your presentation you

do not memorize you only

memorize the skeleton of

your speech

Now which way I prefer

Definitely definitely number four now tell me in the comments which way of preparing for your speech do you prefer?

Is it number one?

written from the paper number two

winging it number three

Memorizing your whole speech word-for-word or number four just memorizing the outline

Nasty Secret About Meghan Markle Goes Public – Buckingham Palace Panicking - Duration: 14:31.

Nasty Secret About Meghan Markle Goes Public – Buckingham Palace Panicking

It's only been a few days since Prince Harry married Meghan Markle at a lavish wedding

ceremony that was watched by people all over the world.

However, something was just revealed about Meghan's first marriage and divorce that

may have Harry realizing he just made a huge mistake.

The U.K. Sun reported that a new book has claimed that Meghan ended her marriage to

Hollywood producer Trevor Engelson "out of the blue" after she finally made it big

in Hollywood by being cast on the show "Suits."

She allegedly kicked Engelson to the curb as soon as she no longer needed his connections

to further her own career.

Andrew Morton, a close friend of Princess Diana's, discovered what really led to Meghan's

marriage ending when he went to research a biography of her.

Morton discovered that when she met Engelson at a West Hollywood dive bar, Meghan was a

struggling actress who made ends meet by hostessing at restaurants and working as a "Deal or

No Deal" model.

Right after they married in 2011, however, everything changed for Meghan when she was

cast on "Suits."

"Meg was on her way up," said Tom Jr., Markle's half-brother.

Morton claims that Meghan's 2013 announcement that the marriage was over shocked friends

of the couple and was "totally out of the blue" for Engelson.

"Trevor went from cherishing Meghan to, as one friend observed, 'feeling like he

was a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe,'" Morton wrote.

"A wealthy entrepreneur friend claimed the marriage ended so abruptly that Meghan sent

her wedding and engagement rings back to Trevor by registered post."

Morton's clear implication in his book is that Meghan married Engelson as part of a

calculated career move and tossed him aside as soon as he was no longer of use to her.

Meghan did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement before her wedding to Harry, and now that

she has her royal title, she may not have much use for the prince anymore either…

parking brake is operational this one is a major electrical work we have a couple of

corroded wires has to do with salt buildup and I went to school for

automotive and I already had the basics so when I entered Central Fleet this was

something new to me because I wasn't working on diesel and heavy motor

BUSTED!! Hillary's Strange Scarf Just Slipped Off In Public Exposes What She's Been Hiding For Month - Duration: 5:30.

Hillary's Strange Scarf Just Slipped Off In Public Exposes What She's Been Hiding

For Months!

Ever since she lost the election Hillary Clinton has been working hard, on the for-profit speaking

circuit making hundreds of thousands preaching to the choir.

Her most recent engagement was in Sydney, Australia at the Women World Changers series

where she spoke about her experience as the former secretary of state.

However, it was her attire that had people questioning what she was really up to after

all.

Clinton had previously appeared with Julia Gillard in Melbourne, and was attending the

Women World Changers event with the former Australian Prime Minister.

But the other thing that made an appearance was Clinton's outfit and scarf, that was

weirdly tucked behind her jacket and not in the front like most scarfs are.

The Daily Mail reported,

"Clinton chose however to tie her scarf behind her neck, which added volume to the

neckwear behind her head just a few days after some speculated that she may be wearing a

back brace.

Clinton's look was also remarkably similar to the one she displayed on Thursday in Melbourne.

There she wore a stretch wool crepe jacket in blue once again that extended to the knee

along with slacks and kitten heels.

The jacket was a custom creation from Nina McLemore, and she finished the look off with

an $1,100 cashmere-blend shawl from Hermes.

And earlier in the week it was a fuchsia coat and yet another over-sized scarf for the first

stop of the speaking tour in Auckland.

Clinton's decision to wear a custom coat and repeat a look from last week will no doubt

only fuel rumors that she has been wearing a back brace.

The protrusion seen through Clinton's jacket last week that led to speculation

She has been exclusively wearing large scarves and 3/4 length coats ever since she suffered

a hairline fracture in her wrist during a trip to India in March

It was the photos of Clinton wearing her jacket last Thursday in New York that first caused

the speculation about a possible brace because of an odd protrusion which appears to be seen

just below her neck.

I recently noticed Hillary's new predilection for wearing scarves around her neck.

Now she appears to be wearing some sort of back brace,' noted another individual.

'Before that she was wearing a cast on her arm and before that she was wearing a boot.

Is Hillary falling apart before our eyes?'

And on Friday, one person commented: 'Hillary Clinton spotted wearing yet another massive

scarf after earlier photos showed she might be trying to hide a back brace.'

Clinton has been pairing scarves with almost all of her looks ever since she returned from

India, where she suffered a series of falls that eventually required her to seek medical

attention.

She was treated for a broken wrist during that trip, which her spokesperson said was

the result of a fall in her hotel bathtub.

Hillary's tumble in the tub was actually her third fall of the trip, with the first

two coming in Mandu as she struggled to maintain her footing while heading down the steps of

the Jahaz Mahal Palace on Monday.

She was quickly caught and kept upright by her Secret Service agents, who reacted with

lightening speed.

At that point Hillary decided to just take off her shoes on the steps of the palace before

continuing on her way.

Video of the incident hows that she did have a good deal of pressure placed on her right

wrist when she caught herself with that hand during both falls.

She then announced the following day that she would have to cancel a planned visit to

Mehrangarh Fort after arriving in Jodphur.

Hillary soldiered on after that fall, but when she lost her footing in the bathtub of

her luxury hotel it was off to the hospital.

An X-ray and a CT scan taken at the hospital revealed Clinton had a hairline fracture in

her right wrist.

Clinton was then given a plaster cast and told she was fine to continue with her travels

but should report back for a check-up in three days.

It was also noted in those local reports that Hillary may have been treated for pain in

the wrist prior to her hotel room mishap.

A spokesperson for the Umaid Bhawan Palace confirmed to DailyMail.com at the time that

Hillary is staying at the property but claimed it was not where she broke her wrist.

Clinton had her cast removed just before her trip, eight weeks after she was bandaged up

by doctors in India.

That is the normal recovery period for a hairline fracture.

Her injury while travelling came just a few months after she was forced to wear a surgical

boot following a bad spill while travelling abroad.

Clinton tumbled down some stairs while wearing a pair of heels and broke her toe back in

October her spokesperson said at the time.

She had been in London at the time promoting her book What's Happened.

There have been no mishaps on this recent trip however, and Clinton is now heading home."

Clinton's health was going downhill even during the presidential election of 2016.

She was found in a video to have almost fallen over when she was struggling with an alleged

bout of pneumonia.

However, people were concerned it was something more serious such as a neurological disorder.

But this was unfortunately never confirmed or verified.

Yet it does not stop people from wondering or questioning her.

While no one wishes another person to be ill perhaps it is better she never won because

there would be nothing worse than being the president and dealing with these problems.

It would be the American public that suffers the most.
