News on Youtube May 26 2018

hey guys my name is Anyeka Jamal and welcome to my channel this video is a

getting ready in the spa dressing rooms video is the part two of the last video

that I uploaded and yes so I also have a hole at the end of this video that my

best friend does that I mentioned in part 1 of this video so let's get right

into it so at the moment I'm just going to prep my skin I just put contact

solution in my eyes because we just went swimming and my eyes need rejuvenating I

also want to mention that my skin looks very very red because of the atmosphere

of the dressing rooms is extremely humid and my face and the foundation itself

went on extremely patchy this was pretty much a disaster all the way through but

the end product it was alright it looked alright but yeah I just basically did my

base I used at the NARS foundation it doesn't normally look this bad and then

I went over the concealing areas with two different concealers and it just

looks extremely extremely extremely patchy some of this video is a voiceover

and some of it isn't but I did just go over my concealer with a powder brighten

up powder by essence and I'm telling you that thing saved my life it was amazing

I'm also using the new Smashbox palette and it's okay it's not amazing but I do

like most of the colors and the items that went into it I also loved the

concept of it's everything that you'll ever need in one place and I'm using

basically all of the products the highlight is really good the blush is

really good the bronzers could be a bit better but it's it's a decent product

it's worth it I think it's coming off because oh yeah

how's it looking really weird enough

so a trick is going over any areas with the beauty blender with a tiny amount of

product on it already and then setting it with powder again and I try to do

that sometimes it works sometimes it didn't but the at the end it was all

alright but I'm just using the spice lip liner at the moment and I have these

cute little minis in my makeup bag from colour-pop and that's what I used on my

lips I also had to continuously powder my face and neck because the reoccurring

theme is that it's really hard but yeah and I used the models own palette I

basically just used some of the warm tones to warm up my crease and add a bit

of color and dimension back into my face you look great

do you have a spray

discuss your swing you really want it oh yeah important

that's not actually a family can vote lucious you put it in there this is so

come here so come just you got that Patrice nothing

how did you get that and you know how I got it I got it from Amazon second time

I got it I got it from this website called coffee dream which and it was

really cheap on that the coffee trees one if you want to get it from them

wait to committed come on

is it really good so right it's not as amazing the wait wasn't ready to help

why do you like it

I'm just like sway from juicy yeah nari try imagine why

I think

I like to discover

22 really but they call comfortable now is the

formula different this is like this yeah this was not the place than this was

after

my face is just gonna melt off again I need a plug

there's nothing

these are so I should do what's in my makeup bag video why'd you put this I

can't believe you got this yeah that was free

what yeah man I told you about that so pretty

you really like this no it's okay why did you buy the full version to see

it because I want you to try it with you

do you like it it's good but it's not amazing

you see I love that you know the the the bomb one yeah I don't like that

I don't mind that I like the other hand the brush is really good it's not the

brush it's like the staying power like a movie are you gonna wear

you do with your head where did you brush it it will go in for me

I look like an old lady a three-pound was still really cute

I used to get the colour-pop ones but won't piss me off

the black ones just come out of the tubes it does come over here so I like

the because it's so pigmented and even though it's the sticky one it's still do

you cry out I do I like that side of the formula everything is okay way a fool is

out like and it just feels like such a waste of money because fair enough it's

cute but you need to at least buddy you know like stay in the tree this is

by far not a makeup tutorial it's more of a watch me fail doing my makeup in a

spa dressing room but yeah I'm just tight lining my eyes with elf

eyeliner at the moment and then I went back in with that powder and a dry

Beauty Blender and I'm telling you this worked like a charm

that powder is amazing

we should be fresh what kind of big burst you want my face brush - cool -

bronzer is this only in Wilko yeah yeah always wanted to go in with the

darker shade so I just took the shade from colour-pop and then I noticed that

there was a giant blob on my face so I tried to get rid of that and blend that

all in and then I went back in with bronzers and whatnot just to brighten

the rest of my face because I felt like it wasn't like done properly and this

kind of corrected everything and blended everything in and made sure it was all

seamless and I didn't and this is me trying

I couldn't find a plug so I couldn't use my pry Mike 8-pound kyla which is very

good by the way but yeah I just tied up the top half of my hair and poofed it up

a bit with my hands and then I still felt like it was extremely frizzy so

this oil is from super drugs and it's a mixture of certain oils and I actually

really liked it it solved the problem of the fifth of the frizziness and I think

it did an alright job for the rest of the day

we finally made it after all de

like sweat

sorry bashful

because I'm obsessed with game

widely I saw this girl wearing and when I saw her she was very like in a

different color I just wanted a black

yeah just

extra small d liam go up my thighs life I've allowed be really nice in the waist

you're gonna get crazy

yes Oh got these trousers I mean

funny you could figure right now you love it

if I can really nice like type of material

she's worried that they were gonna be too long but yeah hopefully

hopefully when I get home so much money

dressed like I saw this online and so on and I was like an evil must have things

in my wardrobe so he's obsessed with blood orange and

the back

I think it was really nice nedra and stylish learner it does yeah

it's really really nice and it was United

what it is they came with a skirt as well

Oh

it's it's regulated

not have to

I spent a lot like

After Over 5 Years, the TRUTH About Sandy Hook Goes Public – Obama Panicking - Duration: 11:03.

After Over 5 Years, the TRUTH About Sandy Hook Goes Public – Obama Panicking

It has just been revealed that former Obama White House officials discussed how to best

exploit the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School for their own gun control agenda before

the victims were even buried.

Breitbart reported that a Freedom of Information Act request by the Baltimore Post confirmed

that this strategizing took place between Obama Education Secretary Arne Duncan and

Chicago Mayor, former Obama White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel (D).

The following email threat between Duncan and Emanuel was written on December 16, 2012:

At 6:57PM EST on December 16, 2012, Duncan wrote to Emanuel in a message titled "CT

shootings."

Duncan asked the Chicago mayor, "What are your thoughts?"

Five minutes later, Emanuel responded, "Go for a vote this week before it fades.

Tap peoples emotion.

Make it simple assault weapons."

Duncan responded immediately, "Yup- thanks."

"When I did brady bill and assault weapons for clinton we always made it simple.

Criminals or war weapons," Emanuel said in the email to Duncan.

"Gun show loophole?"

Duncan responded.

"Database?

Cop-killer bullets?

Too complicated?" he said.

"Cop killer maybe," Emanuel responded.

"The other no."

The exchange ended when Duncan concluded with, "Got it."

The threat clearly shows that Duncan was trying to ensure the gun control push was tailored

to appeal to Americans when their hearts were broken over the heinous shooting.

The Obama administration conveniently overlooked the fact that Connecticut had the 5th most

stringent gun controls in the country at the time of the shooting, that the guns the attacker

used were stolen, and that the attack occurred in a gun-free zone.

Emanuel pretty much summed up the mentality of the Obama administration when he said,

"You never want a serious crisis to go to waste."

It's sick that Obama consciously and shamelessly used this tragedy for his own personal gain.

SHARE this story so we can expose what

he did!

Sloth art class: The public school inside a zoo - Duration: 3:19.

I love being in the zoo and being able to have that relationship with the zoo.

Hi, do you guys know how to touch the stingrays?

Because if I didn't then I wouldn't know what I want to do with my life.

I'd be very confused.

I'm at the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma, Washington

because of an email from Ben Warner.

he told me that I had to go visit the Science and Math Institute

at the Point Defiance Zoo.

When I first started school here,

it definitely was a little scary because it's in the middle of a forest.

You're learning about animals in a place where there's so many animals.

And this zoo, it takes so many animals that can't go back to the wild because they're hurt.

They have this community where you take care of each other and help out those

endangered species that are out there. You just get a lot of different

opportunities here that you don't get at other high schools.

She can't walk on the ground, so she spends her whole life like this upside down.

She would be very uncomfortable coming down to the ground because she doesn't have the right

muscles in her legs to allow her to stand up and walk around.

Drawing endangered species in art class isn't the only

thing keeping students like Haley excited for school each day.

Every junior and senior signs up for an internship that gives students professional

experience in a field of their choice.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, which is the day I have internship,

I'm really excited to come to school, get over with that half

the day and then come to internship and be able to talk to the public

and be with my supervisor and just learning as well as like teaching the public.

So you're gonna take two fingers and you're gonna touch them on the side

of their wings right there. Isn't it slimy?

Now that I'm working with the zoo,

I have decided that I want to be a marine biology teacher and not just do

marine biology because I love teaching the public about like all of the

invertebrates we have here.

Oh, there's one right there if you guys want to touch that ray.

For me it was a life-changing thing when I started it.

I felt like I was getting through to little kids and I was getting through to

adults about how much our conservation messages mean to people.

This experiential learning approach in both STEM and artistic opportunities is showing

tangible results when it comes to graduation rates graduation rates here

The graduation rates here are comparatively much higher than the state average.

SAMI's graduation rate has been in between 95 and a hundred percent since the school started.

As a public school in Tacoma, the Science and Math Institute's graduation

rates are more than 10 percentage points higher than both the district and the

national average.

I am preparing to graduate and I hope in five years that I

have gotten out of college and I have gotten a job either with a zoo or with a

school where I am teaching biology or marine biology or something.

I hope the little kids walk away with just the love of the zoo and wanting to come back and

wanting to have that connection with all of the interpreters and the animals.

I hope the adults walk away with, this is how I can help.

Hillary Clinton's Scarf Slips Off In Public – Exposes What She's Been Hiding All Along… - Duration: 12:51.

Hillary Clinton's Scarf Slips Off In Public – Exposes What She's Been Hiding All Along…

Since losing the election to Donald Trump at the end of 2016, Hillary Clinton has been

traveling the world whining about how "unfair" her loss was.

Most recently, she spoke at a women's event in Sydney, Australia, where Clinton once again

took the opportunity to bash Trump.

However, it was what Clinton was wearing that really got everyone around the world talking…

Right Wing News reported that Clinton wore a large scarf around her neck that completely

covered a bulge on her back, indicating that she might be hiding something beneath it.

Days before that, Clinton emerged in New York City wearing a scarf in the same way.

This time, however, the scarf slipped up and revealed what look like something that resembles

a back brace.

This indicates that Donald Trump was right all along when he suggested Clinton was hiding

a serious health issue from American voters.

Speculation has been running rampant on social media about what exactly Clinton is hiding

on her back.

"Before that she was wearing a cast on her arm and before that she was wearing a boot.

Is Hillary falling apart before our eyes?" one social media user wrote.

"Hillary Clinton spotted wearing yet another massive scarf after earlier photos showed

she might be trying to hide a back brace," another person commented.

Though Donald Trump was labelled "sexist" for questioning Clinton's health during

the election, she actually has a long history of random injuries from "falls" dating

back to her time as Secretary of State.

Five months ago, Clinton broke her toe during a fall in London.

In an interview right afterwards during which she wore a surgical boot, Clinton tried to

downplay the injury with a convoluted story about it.

"I was running down the stairs in heels with a cup of coffee in hand, I was talking

over my shoulder and my heel caught and I fell backwards," she explained in the interview.

"I tried to get up and it really hurt.

I've broken my toe."

Clinton was caught on camera collapsing during her campaign as she left the 9/11 Memorial

in New York City.

She later claimed that she had been diagnosed with dehydration and pneumonia.

What do you think is going on here?

Let us know your thoughts

in the comments section.

Episode 1147 | The Line: NM's Public Education Department And Failing Schools - Duration: 10:49.

>> HAS THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION OVERSTEPPED ITS

AUTHORITY IN WORKING WITH NEW MEXICO'S MOST TROUBLED

SCHOOLS?

THAT IS THE QUESTION THE BIPARTISAN LEGISLATIVE

EDUCATION STUDY COMMITTEE IS NOW ASKING.

AT ISSUE ARE FOUR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, THREE HERE IN

ALBUQUERQUE, THAT HAVE RECEIVED F GRADES FOR THE LAST

FIVE TO SIX YEARS.

DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION OFFICIALS SAY THEY HAVE THE

RIGHT TO INTERVENE IN THOSE SCHOOLS' OPERATIONS BASED ON

THE FEDERAL EVERY SCHOOL SUCCEEDS ACT PASSED BY

PRESIDENT OBAMA IN 2015 BUT THE LESC SAYS THE STATE

STATUTE IS NOT CLEAR ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THE PED CAN

HAVE FINAL SAY ON ANY INTERVENTION PLANS.

MARY, AND THIS IS VERY INTERESTING BECAUSE VERY

SPECIFICALLY TO APS, A LOT OF BACK AND FORTH OVER THE PAST

COUPLE OF MONTHS ABOUT THESE THREE SCHOOLS.

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT TAKES A PRETTY HARD LINE.

MS.

REEDY, THE NEW APS SUPERINTENDENT, SAYING, LOOK,

WE ARE WORKING HERE, SUBMITTING THINGS ON TIME.

WHERE ARE WE NOW ON THIS ON YOUR READ?

ARE WE GOING TO HAVE RESOLUTION HERE?

>> I DON'T KNOW, MAYBE.

I THINK WHERE ARE WE NOW, WE HAVE A LOT OF QUESTIONS IN THE

AIR BECAUSE WE ARE COMING TO THE END OF THE MARTINEZ

ADMINISTRATION.

SO ESTABLISHING A PLAN, FOLLOWING IT THROUGH INTO THE

NEXT -- INTO 2019, THE CURRENT EDUCATION SECRETARY, I MEAN,

WHO KNOWS, BUT AT LEAST I WOULD EXPECT RIGHT NOW MAY NOT

BE AROUND DEPENDING ON THE NEXT ADMINISTRATION AND ALSO,

EVEN GETTING DOWN TO THE F GRADE, ISN'T THAT IN QUESTION

IN THE GOVERNOR'S RACE?

WHO IS IN FAVOR OF THAT SORT OF GRADING SYSTEM OF THE

SCHOOLS.

TO ME A LOT OF QUESTIONS.

>> ONE OF THE BIG QUESTIONS IS WHO HAS FINAL SAY.

IS IT LOCAL SCHOOLS?

THERE IS A LOT OF ISSUES OUT THERE THAT SEEMS LIKE A BLOCK

TO PLAY WELL TOGETHER, IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT.

>> IT STRIKES ME, FIRST OF ALL STRIKES ME AS SOMETHING THAT

PROBABLY REALLY DOES NEED TO BE CLARIFIED BY THE

LEGISLATURE AND BY THE TIME THAT HAPPENS, WE ARE GOING TO

HAVE A NEW ADMINISTRATION.

SO, WILL THERE BE AN ATTEMPT TO RUN OUT THE CLOCK, I

SUSPECT SO.

>> TOM, THE IDEA THAT THESE POWER STRUGGLES, KIDS LOSE AT

THE END OF THE DAY, SEEMS TO ME.

WE HAVE THREE FAILING SCHOOLS AND PED SAID, LOOK, WE CAN DO

A LOT OF THINGS HERE BUT THE FIRST THING I WANT TO TALK

ABOUT IS REPLACE THE PRINCIPAL.

I HAVE BEEN A ROUND A LOT OF EDUCATORS, THEY WILL TELL YOU

JUST REPLACING THE PERSON AT THE TOP OF IT, THAT DOESN'T

FIX A SCHOOL NECESSARILY.

WHERE ARE THEY COMING FROM ON THE PRINCIPAL THING, SEEMS

LIKE A NO WIN THERE.

>> IT IS A SCAPEGOAT IS WHAT IT IS.

YES, APS HAS REPLACED ALL THE PRINCIPALS.

THAT IS CHECKING A BOX.

THERE IS A LARGER COMMUNITY ISSUE THAT GOES BEYOND THE

PRINCIPAL.

THE PRINCIPAL IS A LEADER AND IT IS A SMALL BUSINESS, ABOUT

A THREE MILLION BUDGET, SO IT IS UP TO THEM TO KIND OF

CHANGE THE TONE BUT, YOU KNOW, TO SAY IT IS THE PRINCIPALS,

IT IS THE TEACHERS, YOU KNOW, PERHAPS SHOULD BE MOVED.

YOU HAVE A LOT OF DIFFERENT OPTIONS AVAILABLE BUT FOR SOME

REASON PRINCIPALS IS THE EASIEST ONE, BECAUSE IT IS THE

ONE PERSON THAT IS NOT PROTECTED BY THE UNION.

BUT NOT TO MAKE IT A UNION CONVERSATION, BUT TO YOUR

CONVERSATION EARLIER ABOUT WHO HAS FINAL SAY, I THINK PED HAS

THE HAMMER AND THEY ARE THE ONES WITH FINAL SAY, BECAUSE

THEY ARE THE ONES IN CHARGE.

NOW THAT COULD CHANGE AND PROBABLY WILL CHANGE MANY

MONTHS FROM NOW, BUT, THERE IS SO MANY DIFFERENT THINGS ABOUT

THIS.

THESE ISSUES AT ALL SCHOOLS DID NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT.

IT WASN'T LIKE ALL OF A SUDDEN DECEMBER IS LIKE, OH MY GOSH,

WE HAVE AN F GRADE OR WHATEVER THE MEASUREMENT STICK IS.

IT HAS -- IT IS NOT WORKING.

AND YOU JUST CAN'T -- >> FIVE OR SIX YEARS IS A LONG

TIME.

>> IT IS.

WHAT APS HAS TRIED ISN'T WORKING.

WHY NOT GIVE WHAT PED IS SUGGESTING A TRY.

WHAT APS HAS TRIED TO DO IN FIXING THE ISSUE HASN'T

WORKED.

>> HOW DO YOU READ THIS ZACK?

IN THIS TENSION BETWEEN PED AND APS, WHO HAS UPPER HAND

HERE?

>> JUST TO GO FROM TOM'S POINT HERE, YOU KNOW, PED DOES HAVE

THE HAMMER AND SPEAKING OF CHECKED BOXES, TEACHER

EVALUATIONS COMPLETELY UNFAIR IN THE STATE AND THE WAY WE

ARE TESTING TO STUDENTS AND HOLDING TEACHERS TO TESTING

STUDENTS IS UNFAIR, BUT THE MAIN POINT IS I THINK THE PED

HAS TO ABIDE BY FEDERAL LAW.

WE HAVE WHAT I BELIEVE IS CALLED EVERY STUDENT SUCCEED

ACT.

IT HAS CLEAR GUIDELINES, AND LEGISLATURE SHOULD REFERENCE

THIS AND BE ABLE TO BUILD IT OUT TO THE LEVEL IT NEEDS TO

BE INTERPRETED TO.

>> MARY, I WANT TO READ THE FOUR THINGS PED SAYS THEY HAVE

IN THERE TOOL BOX.

THEY CAN CLOSE A SCHOOL.

THEY CAN RESTART IT AS A CHARTER SCHOOL.

THEY CAN CHAMPION AND PROVIDE CHOICE AND RESTRUCTURE IN

DESIGN OR THE PRINCIPAL THING.

THERE IS A LOT OF THINGS THEY ARE GIVING WIGGLE ROOM FOR THE

SCHOOLS TO DO.

THEY ARE SAYING, WE CHOOSE TO DO REDESIGN AND RESTRUCTURE,

GIVE US SOME TIME.

YOU CAN'T TURN AROUND SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN

FAILING FIVE OR SIX YEARS IN A ROW.

IS THAT FAIR FOR MS.

REEDY TO LOOK FOR MORE TIME HERE?

>> I THINK IT IS EXPECTED THAT SHE WOULD TRY TO DO THAT

ESPECIALLY SOMETIMES THERE ARE MANY COMPLEX REASONS WHY A

SCHOOL MIGHT GET AN F GRADE.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM.

SO, I THINK WHEN YOU START TO LOOK AT KIND OF MORE INTEGRAL

PROBLEMS OR SOCIAL ISSUES THAT ARE AT PLAY, THEN, YES, SHE IS

SOMEONE WHOSE POSITION IS CERTAINLY GOING TO WANT THAT

EXTRA TIME.

NOW WE ARE TALKING YEARS THAT IT HAS BEEN DEALING WITH LOW

SCORES.

>> AGAIN, SANTA FE AND COMPANY, THEY ARE NOT GOING TO

BE HERE BUT YOU CANNOT BLAME THEM FOR WANTING TO SEE

THROUGH WHAT THEY WANT TO DO WITH EDUCATION HERE.

SO I ASK AGAIN, WITH THE CLOCK RUNNING OUT, IS THERE TIME TO

COMPROMISE HERE ON THIS THING?

>> I THINK -- THIS IS CYNICAL BUT I THINK THAT GIVEN THE

CLOCK, IT MAY NOT BE -- MAYBE ONE OR MORE SIDES THINKS WE

DON'T HAVE TO, IF WE CAN KEEP THINGS MOVING ALONG, WE CAN

OBSTRUCT.

I DON'T MEAN TO SAY THAT I THINK APD -- APS, THANK YOU --

IS WRONG OR IS TAKING AN INCORRECT TACT, IT SEEMS TO

ME, THOUGH, THAT LOOKING AT THAT LIST, SOME OF THE

ELEMENTS ON THAT LIST, GOING TO A CHARTER SCHOOL, CLOSING

THE SCHOOL, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT REARRANGING THE DECK

CHAIRS HERE.

THE ONLY ONE THAT STRIKES ME AS BEING PROACTIVE AS REALLY

INVOLVING AN ATTEMPT TO FIX EDUCATION WITHIN THAT

COMMUNITY AND THAT CENTER IS THE ONE THAT APS IS ATTEMPTING

TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF. AND, TO SAY IT HAS TO HAPPEN

LIKE THIS, I THINK, WHEN I READ THAT AS SIMPLISTIC, BUT I

THINK IT IS TOO FAST.

IT IS EXPECTED BUT I ALSO THINK, YEAH, IT IS EXPECTED.

IT SHOULD TAKE A LITTLE TIME.

>> TOM, YOU MENTIONED WE WERE TALKING EARLIER, LOS PADILLAS

AND WHITTIER, TWO OF THE SCHOOLS I MENTIONED.

INTERESTING NOTE I THOUGHT WAS INTERESTING, PED PREVIOUSLY

REQUIRED THAT WHITTIER AND LOS PADILLAS BE RATED HIGHLY

EFFECTIVE OR EXEMPLARY.

THEY BACKED OFF OF THAT WHEN THEY REALIZED THAT IS NOT

GOING TO SOLVE IT.

WASN'T THAT THE BIG THING IN THE EDUCATION THING ALL ALONG,

TEACHERS WEREN'T DESIGNATED AT EXEMPLARY OR BETTER,

EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO TURN AROUND BUT IT DIDN'T.

WHERE DOES IT PUT THIS IDEA ABOUT EDUCATION REFORM AND HOW

THEY DO THIS WHOLE THING.

>> IT PLACES THE FOLKS ON EDUCATION REFORM AS NOT JUST

ABOUT TEACHERS AND PRINCIPALS BUT ABOUT THE COMMUNITY AND

HOW COMMUNITIES RESPOND TO HELPING, YOU KNOW, THE SCHOOLS

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY THE STUDENTS SUCCEED.

YOU KNOW, WHAT I ENJOY ABOUT ALBUQUERQUE IS THAT YOU HAVE

ALL THESE UNIQUE COMMUNITIES THAT YOU JUST CAN'T GO IN WITH

A READY MADE SOLUTION.

THE READING PROGRAMS AT DESERT RIDGE WORK, SO, THEREFORE THEY

WORK AT POLK AND YOU CAN'T DO THAT.

THEY ARE VERY DIFFERENT COMMUNITIES AND I THINK THERE

HAS TO BE SOME FLEXIBILITY AND I THINK THAT IS ONE OF THE

LACK OF FLEXIBILITY IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT PED HAS BEEN

CRITICIZED ON, BUT AT THE SAME POINT IN TIME YOU HAVE TO HAVE

A STANDARD THAT EVERYBODY IS GOING TO GET ANGRY WITH BUT

YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOMETHING TO MEASURE EVERYBODY BY.

>> GOOD POINT.

CURIOUS WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS AS WELL, THE IDEA THAT

EVALUATING TEACHERS YOU NEED MORE THAN JUST TEST SCORES, WE

HAD THIS ARGUMENT HERE FOR A LONG TIME.

WE HAVE PEOPLE RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR ON BOTH SIDES OF THE

AISLE, I MIGHT ADD, SAYING TEACHER EVALUATIONS MAY NOT BE

THE BEST WAY TO GO.

DO YOU SEE THIS AS A CRACK HERE?

IS SOMETHING CHANGING IN THE DIALOGUE OF EDUCATION HERE

WITH THIS LITTLE DUST UP WE HAVE GOING?

>> IT SEEMS LIKE IT IS SHIFTING A LITTLE BIT BUT I

AGREE WITH WHAT TOM IS SAYING, THERE IS CULTURAL DYNAMICS NOT

FACTORED INTO PED.

SCHOOL DISTRICT IS DIFFERENT.

I WAS RAISED IN LAS CRUCES AND THE SCHOOL DISTRICT HERE IS A

DIFFERENT UNIVERSE.

I THINK THE KELLER ADMINISTRATION MIGHT BE

INTERESTED IN WORKING CLOSELY WITH PED AND WORK WITH

COMMUNITY LEADERS AND ADDRESS SOME OF THE SYSTEMIC ISSUES

WHICH DRIVES SOME OF THE SCHOOLS' FAILURE.

IT COMES DOWN TO THE MODEL AND THE SYSTEMS.

IF YOU TRY TO SUBSCRIBE TO A FAILING MODEL AND YOU'RE

WONDERING WHY NOBODY CAN MEET IT, IT IS KIND OF WEIRD BUT IT

IS CHANGING THE POLITICAL DISCOURSE AND IT IS SURPRISING

TO -- >> ARE YOU SURPRISED ONE OF

THE IDEAS IS TO TURN IT INTO A CHARTER SCHOOL?

>> YES.

>> DOES THAT HELP ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD.

>> IN NO WAY DOES IT HELP.

>> I AM NOT SURPRISED ONLY I THINK THAT IS SOMETHING THAT

MARTINEZ ADMINISTRATION ADVOCATES.

>> A LOT OF FOLKS ARE SAYING IT IS A BIT OF A TROJAN HORSE.

THEY WANT TO HAVE THEM FLIP INTO CHARTER SCHOOLS AND THIS

IS A WAY TO DO IT.

>> IT IS NOT THE MAGIC, TA DA, IT'S A CHARTER SCHOOL, NOW IT

WILL SUCCEED.

IT IS ASKING FOR A DIFFERENT, ADDITIONAL SET PROBLEMS.

>> THERE ARE INDEPENDENT CHARTER SCHOOLS AND APS

CHARTER SCHOOLS AND IT JUST PROVIDES MORE LATITUDE TO MAKE

DIFFERENCES OR CHANGES THAT THE DISTRICT OR THE PRINCIPAL

WANTS TO MAKE.

>> WE MUST APOLOGIZE TO PED FOR CALLING THEM APS AND VICE

VERSA.

I DO IT ALL THE TIME.

THAT IS ALL THE TIME WE HAVE.

YOU DID A GREAT JOB GUYS.

MP's ex-aide subjected to 'cruel public shaming' as jury take less than an hour to acquit him of - Duration: 1:41.

A former special adviser to Sir Michael Fallon who was acquitted of sexual assault has said he was cruelly and publicly shamed during a trial that he claims should never have come to court

Richard Holden said it was a "travesty" that the case against him had been pursued and it added to concerns about the actions of the police and Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)

He had been accused of groping a woman under her skirt at a party in London in 2016

The jury of eight men and four women returned unanimous verdicts after deliberating for less than an hour

Mr Holden said the jury were sent to lunch on Friday at 12.37pm to return to start their deliberations at 2pm

By 2.15pm, he was proved innocent. .
