(PICKFORD) You guys know what that song's about?

It's about aliens.

We're the aliens, man. We're the savages.

(STONER) Wait man, that song's about that?

(SLATER) Yeah, man, that song's about that, man.

(STONER) ..About aliens?

SLATER Yeah man, you didn't know that?

This country is founded,

it was found by people who were into aliens, man.

George Washington man, he was in a cult,

and the cult was into aliens, man.

You didn't know that? - No.

Oh man, they were way into that type of stuff, man.

- George toked weed, man?

(SLATER) Absolutely George toked weed.

Are you kidding me, man.

He grew fields of fields of that stuff, man. That's what I'm talking about.

Fields.

(STONER) He grew that shit up in Mount Vernon, man?

SLATER Mount Vernon, man? He grew it all over the country, man.

He had people growing it all over the country, you know.

The whole country back then was getting high.

Let me tell you man, 'cos, 'cos, 'cos he knew. He was on to something, man.

He knew that it would be a good cash crop for the southern states man.

So he grew fields of it, man.

But you know what?

Behind every good man there's a woman.

And that woman was Martha Washington, man.

And every day George would come home..

She'd have a big, fat, bowl waiting for him, man

when he'd come in the door man.

She was hip, hip, hip lady, man!

And she was real cool too.

She'd harvest the crops, man. That's what I'm talking about.

She'd put in the bushels and stuff and sell it, you know?

Because they had to, you know, make ends meet and stuff.

I mean they... what...

Did you ever look at a dollar bill, man?

There's some spooky stuff going on on a dollar bill man.

I mean, and it's green too.

The fight for Native American humanity | CONSTITUTIONAL | The Washington Post - Duration: 2:04.

-It's the year 1878,

and we're out on the windswept plains of Oklahoma.

Native Americans are not yet considered citizens under the U.

S. Constitution.

And many of them have been forcibly removed

from their tribal lands

to government-run reservations,

where they end up starved and sick.

One of them, 16-year-old Bear Shield,

died there in an Army canvas tent.

But before his eyes closed in death, he made his father,

Standing Bear, promise that he would bury his remains

in their sacred homeland in Nebraska.

Chief Standing Bear left in a blizzard with his son's body.

He walked for four brutal months,

and then, so close to his journey's end,

severely frostbitten, starved,

he was arrested by the United States Cavalry

for having left the confines of the reservation.

And his arrest set off a chain of events

that eventually led to Standing Bear

being the first Native American in the entire United States

to get a trial and the chance to argue for his rights.

Standing Bear went before a judge

and said that he was unlawfully detained

and that Native Americans should be treated

as any other human beings under the Constitution.

-And he faced the audience, and he held out his hand

till the room was silent.

He said, "That hand is not the color of yours.

But if I prick it, the blood will flow,

and I shall feel pain.

The blood is of the same color as yours.

God made me, and I am a man."

-The judge was convinced.

Native Americans, he decided,

must be treated as human beings under U.

S. law.

Standing Bear was set free

and continued walking home to bury his son.

The fight for freedom from Great Britain | CONSTITUTIONAL | The Washington Post - Duration: 2:15.

-Parchment.

That's what the Constitution is made from.

It's raw animal skin stretched and dried under tension.

It's a long and really messy process.

Bloody at first.

Dirty, exhausting.

It's physically demanding.

You're soaking and scrubbing and yanking on animal membrane.

But over time, that carnal, raw thing gets refined, smoothed.

Parchment is stronger than paper.

It has a durability like leather.

It doesn't tear.

Over time, it doesn't crumble to dust.

And part of what makes it so strong

is that it has this give to it.

It vibrates and bends and rebounds.

It's the same material as a drum.

It's the year 1776 when the Colonies decide

to cut their ties to England.

They write out the Declaration of Independence

on a piece of parchment.

And what they say in that declaration is basically,

"We believe all men are created equal

and have a right to life, liberty,

the pursuit of happiness."

So when a government, in this case, England,

starts to destroy those rights, then the people, in this case,

us the people living in the colonies,

we should be able to throw off that government

and start a new country of our own.

So then they go on to list all the reasons

that King George III of Great Britain has been a tyrant.

They say, "He has plundered our seas,

ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns,

and destroyed the lives of our people."

And so, they conclude, "These united Colonies are,

and of right ought to free and independent states,

absolved from all allegiance to the British crown."

Charlie Rose accused of making unwanted sexual advances - Duration: 3:38.

In reporting this story about Charlie Rose,

we learned that there are extensive allegations

against him concerning widespread sexual harassment.

That includes groping,

that includes walking nude in front of women

who are working for him,

it includes late-night sexual phone calls,

and forced touching of intimate areas of certain women.

We have spoken to dozens of former employees,

and some of those employees would only agree

to speak to us on the condition of anonymity,

out of fear of what might be the repercussions

of making a public statement against Charlie Rose.

We have detailed allegations from eight women.

Three of them spoke to us on the record.

All of them either worked for the "Charlie Rose" show

or were aspiring to work for the "Charlie Rose" show.

There are striking commonalities

in the accounts of the women who we spoke to.

One thing that we heard from a number of women

is that there was something that happened very early on,

kind of when they met Charlie.

Typically, he would reach over and he would grab their legs,

and they felt like it was a move to test them,

to gauge their reactions.

So after the hand on the leg, in some cases, it escalated.

Charlie Rose would frequently invite women

to work over at his homes in New York City

or work at his home in Bellport, New York,

and frequently he would walk around naked in front of them.

He would say that he was going to take a shower,

and then he would emerge from the shower,

and he would be nude walking in their presence.

And we heard from one woman who worked for him

as an intern in the 1990s

that this behavior of walking around nude in front of women,

it was known as "the shower trick" at the time.

My co-reporter on this story, Irin Carmon, she actually originally heard

about some of these allegations

concerning Charlie Rose seven years ago,

and she tried to report the story then

and was unable to confirm it.

"Charlie Rose" show intro: From our studios in New York City, this is "Charlie Rose."

The "Charlie Rose" show has been in production since 1991.

It's a pretty unique show in the sense

that it really does revolve around Charlie.

Charlie Rose: The Harvey Weinstein story continues to bring forth

more accusations against the film executive.

And over the years, it's gained a certain level of prestige.

Some of the women that we spoke to said that was it was

their longtime dream to work for the "Charlie Rose" show.

Charlie Rose actually owns his own show.

His show, however, is kind of housed in an office

in the Bloomberg Building in Manhattan,

and one of the things that a number of women

that we've spoken to have told us

is that they felt like they didn't know

who they could complain to

if they had a concern involving Charlie's behavior.

In most cases, the women told us

that they confided in Yvette Vega,

who is Charlie Rose's executive producer.

She's been with him for decades.

We spoke to one woman who worked for him as an assistant,

and she was told by this executive producer,

"Oh, that's just Charlie being Charlie."

Some of these women told us that part of the reason

that they decided to speak out was out of the fear

that if they did not speak out,

that this behavior by Charlie Rose could possibly continue happening.

Washington Post Hate Mail: Christine Emba on the Museum of the Bible - Duration: 2:34.

Talking.

Saying some words.

Looking into the camera.

Hooray.

Hi, I'm christine Emba.

I wrote about the new Museum of the Bible.

Its just opened in D.C.

Some people had thoughts.

"hashtag fake news"

"hashtag racist"

"hashtag Muslim"

I don't think that's how the word "Islamophobia" works,

like in the context of other adjectives.

But I'm actually Catholic.

A comment from "nearys9:"

So, that's actually an interesting

and I think worthwhile comment.

What I said about the Museum of the Bible

was actually that some of these depictions of

don't really seem to align with what

Christ, for instance, would actually teach.

And some of these criticisms

are ones that I cited.

From Stephen Harris:

total detachment

Do I have to go to a rundown church

to figure out what faith means?

I do like the idea of the "Agnostic's Travelogue" though.

I feel like that's a National Geographic series

that I would, like probably watched late at night

when I'm supposed to be sleeping.

Opinion | Trump's attacks on the press are the worst in our history. We shouldn't push back. - Duration: 3:02.

Whatever side you're on in the debate over journalism these days, you're not going

to like some of what I have to say.

President Trump is engaged in the most direct, sustained assault on a free press in our history.

He has done everything he can to delegitimize the media since becoming president.

Mr. Trump has tweeted about "fake news" more than 100 times.

On February 17th, the president tweeted this: "The FAKE NEWS media … is not my enemy,

it is the enemy of the American People!"

And that was precisely his point.

If we report negatively about something he's doing, we're hurting the country.

But don't take it from me, listen to Bill McRaven, a Navy SEAL for 37 years, who became

the head of U.S. Special Forces, the man in charge of the mission that killed Osama bin Laden.

After the president's tweet he told students:

"This sentiment may be the greatest threat to democracy in my lifetime."

It turns out McRaven may have understated the threat.

A poll a couple of weeks ago found 46 percent of voters believe major news organizations

make up stories about President Trump.

But there's another side to this debate.

Even if President Trump is trying to undermine the press, when he talks about bias in the

media, I think he has a point.

A few examples: On November 10th last year, just two days after the election,

here was the lead story in the New York Times.

"The American political establishment reeled on Wednesday as leaders in both parties began

coming to grips with four years of President Donald J. Trump in the White House, a once-unimaginable

scenario that has now plunged the U.S. and its allies and adversaries into a period

of deep uncertainty about the policies and impact of his administration."

On February 6th this was the lead on the "CBS Evening News":

"It has been a busy day for presidential statements divorced from reality."

I could go on.

Now, I'm sure some of you hear those comments and think they're spot on.

But ask yourself, honestly, do they belong on the front page of the New York Times,

or the lead of the evening news?

I believe many reporters think this president has gone so far over the line bashing the

media, it's given them an excuse to cross the line themselves, to push back.

As tempting as that may be, I think it's a big mistake.

We are not players in the game, we are umpires or observers,

trying to be objective witnesses to what is going on.

That doesn't mean we're stenographers; if the president, or anyone we're covering,

says something untrue or does something questionable, we can and should report it.

But we shouldn't be drawn into trying to match the people we cover in invective.

It's not our role.

We're not as good at it as they are.

And we're giving up our special place in our democracy.

Brazilian Butt Lift Washington DC - Gluteoplasty - Duration: 6:59.

The Brazilian Butt Lift is commonly referred to as BBL. This is a procedure

that's designed to enhance the buttocks. It's a surgical procedure that involves

liposuction and fat transfer. So what that means is liposuction is performed

in problematic areas. Typically these areas involve the abdomen, the waistline,

the flanks, back rolls, maybe some fly rolls... Any areas which have fat that can

be used to harvest and ultimately transfer to the areas of the buttocks.

Any areas of the buttocks that need enhancement. When we talk about enhancing

the buttocks, some people are looking for volume, some people are looking to

restore shape and some people are looking simply to accentuate the

waistline. A thin waist line and a nice transition to a fuller buttocks is

characteristic of a typical feminine "coke bottle" appearance. So fat is

harvested from these problem areas and they might not be so problematic. However

there are areas that are better for removing fat and using fat to be able to

transfer into the buttocks. Once the fat is harvested from these areas through

liposuction, the fat is removed, it's prepared in such

a way to be ready to inject into the buttocks. It's very important to keep in

mind that if we remove, let's say for example, two liters of fat from those

areas that we discussed, those two liters when we inject them aren't all going to survive.

There's a certain percentage of fat that's actually resorbed, meaning it

doesn't take, it almost disintegrates. And there are different percentages that are

reported by different studies, but what we try to do is overfill in certain areas.

The reason why we overfill is that we expect anywhere from 25 to 30 percent

of that fat that we've injected to dissolve. Now the buttocks has an

excellent blood supply because of the gluteal muscles and that blood supply is

what we're counting on to help the fat that we transfer take. So it's very

important to understand that if you remove one liter of fat that one liter

of fat is not going to take. And it's not something that we can see instantly so

after that liter is injected it takes at least six to twelve weeks before

we're able to see exactly how much of that fat has been retained or integrated

into the the buttocks.

Everyone is not a candidate for this procedure. Obviously there are some

people who come in and they request a fat transfer to the buttocks and they're

five foot two or hundred pounds. It's very difficult to harvest fat and to

actually make an appreciable difference on someone like that. Alternative

therapies, we've all heard of some of the disasters related to non FDA approved

materials injected into the buttocks. Some of those have been silicone, some of

those have been different products that haven't been approved in the United

States and we've all heard about the disasters associated with some materials

like fix-a-flat. These are very very dangerous dangerous alternatives and

should not be entertained by anyone. And the important thing to focus in on the

expectations of each individual. Injecting a thousand cc's of fat in one

person is not going to be the same as injecting a thousand cc's of fat into

the buttocks of another person. So these individual requirements, individual

needs are tailored to meet individual expectations. But the most important

thing to take home from this is the fact that safety should always be the number

one priority. So we want to know how we can achieve or exceed your expectations

in the safest possible manner. So it's very important to have a consultation

with your plastic surgeon, to review your history thoroughly, to review your medications...

In some cases people have been trying to lose weight

and they are taking over-the-counter diet pills or prescription diet pills because

these medications do have a certain risk factor when patients are undergoing anesthesia.

To learn more about this procedure and the other procedures that

we perform here at Face and Body Cosmetic Surgery, I encourage you to go

to our website. We have excellent 3D animation videos on the site that can

offer you more insight into this procedure and others.

Thank you very much.
